Works fine for lower starting pressures. Would not raise my E-rated tire from a starting pressure of 60. Motor would not start running- too much starting load I guess? Screw on hose is fumbly, but secure once it`s on.

Works,great I’ve only used it twice great pumps pickup truck tires up from 38 to 50 lbs. so I can pull my trailer in 5 min for each tire. I have a full size 2003 gmc sierra and although its not supposed to be for light trucks, it reaches the rear wheels ok.

The left wheel is a stretch but the right had plenty of slack. So that being said the power cord could be longer. For all you mcgyver types the power cord could easily be lengthened with a splice and some wire! Will probably void the warranty though.

I knew it was portable, so I knew that it won’t have the kind of horsepower as those commercial air compressors in gas stations, but it turned out to be really small. After all, you are going to carry it in your car or leave it in your garage or basement (which I am doing).

I could have gotten something bigger. It takes a while to inflate a tire from 26~27 to 32 psi. Multiply that by 4. But it serves its purpose. And given the price, I think it was a reasonable buy.

VERY PLEASED WITH PRODUCT. I was surprised how quickly and easily this inflated all of our automobile tires. I only had to add 2-6 pounds per tire but only took about a second per pound (plugging this into home electric current, AC).

Extra nice automatic shut-off feature. Just set to the desired PSI and it stops when it reaches desired pressure. I haven’t tried DC (Car Battery) yet – but glad it has the feature so I can carry with me if needed.

I was looking for a decently priced tire inflator with an auto stop option. Also needed something that can inflate car, bicycle and basketball with the right accessories to go along with it. This has all the accessories needed that i was looking for.

This one was not the cheapest of its type but I was swayed by the design with neat storage for hose and cable plus a zip-up case, making storage much simpler (and a lot tidier). It works great and does its job well.

It does get noisy but i guess that is the case with all the air pumps.

Worked fine right out of the box. Seems well-constructed and was well-packaged. Nice accessories. I like the coiled hose and secure connectors, as well as the convenient mounting bracket for the unit.

Relatively quiet for an air compressor, generated plenty of flow for filling a low tire. Only question will be its durability So far I’m very happy with it.

I was looking for something that I can plug into garage outlet. This met that criteria. It was nice that it came with some accessories. After several uses, I was a little disappointed how long it took to put air in a tire at 35 psi.

It seems to struggle. It would also have been nice if gauge was digital. It was hard to read the gauge.

March 26, 2020. I bought the product online two days ago, received yesterday as promised, and hooked it up this morning and it worked immediately. This process was a lifesaver for me. In the middle of this covid 19 situation, my car was in the garage with a completely flat to the ground tire.

I am old, live alone, and needed something to be able to get it inflated asap so I could get it checked/fixed since I don’t have others to depend on and need to have the option of transportation when needed.

I tried another online source and was given a delivery date of April 22 so felt fortunate to get it here. I used it on my wheelbarrow tires too so have now used it only twice but am well satisfied.

I have a collection of air pumps—manual, 120V AC, and 12V DC—and all are somewhat satisfactory, but difficult to use and not necessarily accurate. Since I have lots of WORX 20V Power-Share batteries, I got the tool-only version of this air pump, and I tried it on 6 bike tires, ranging from 80 psi to 120 psi.

The pump worked flawlessly, not too loud, not to fast inflating (which can lead to pinched tubes or blowouts because of improper rim seating of the tire), not too slow inflating (like a lot of the DC inflators), and easy, intuitive pressure pre-sets that actually work.

The trouble light/safety flasher is a nice additional feature. The pump handled the 6 tires easily with a 1. 5 amp battery in place. The best part is that the valve clamp (always the weak point with air pumps, in my experience) is really easy and quick to attach and detach, and I was inflating both Schrader and Presta valves (the latter by using the supplied, high-quality adapter).

I plan to keep the air pump in my car and dump the 12V DC one I was using, so I also purchased a Bestek 150W voltage inverter from Amazon to use with one of my spare 20V Power-Share chargers. I plugged it into the 12V DC (lighter) outlet in the back of my RAV4, and it easily charged the WORX battery.

The pump and the battery and inverter are compact enough to fit in the spare tire well underneath the trunk deck. It’s so nice to just have a portable, powerful, easy-to-use air pump to get these jobs done! No more power cords to deal with and a quick and easy connect and disconnect valve clamp that doesn’t leak while you are pumping in air.

Arrived on time and well packaged. Pump has worked well to adjust tire pressures and to fill the donut spares that SHOULD be checked at least once per year. The auto stop feature when the correct pressure is reached works like a charm and is appreciated.

This pump works exactly as expected, inflates items relatively fast for its size, and seems to be quite durable. The only thing that needs to be changed. In the name of all that is Holy PLEASE extend the amount of time before the unit powers down.

By the time you disconnect the hose from one tire and move to the next you have to press the power button again. The batteries are far more than capable of maintaining baseline power to keep the unit awake for at least 60 seconds before powering down.

It is a minor thing but very annoying and detracts from an otherwise excellent product.

Really beyond pleased with this inflator, no long hoses or pressure gauges required. Recently the generator in my shed had a flat tire. In the past I would have either had to “grunt roll” it over my regular air compressor or break out the 100 foot hose.

Such a great design to bring the air to where needed in a lightweight cordless design. I also love how easy it is to set the desired pressure and then to hit “play” button to start it and how it will finish with an auto shutoff at the end.

Arrived quickly. Well packaged by Summit. Excellent compressor. I have an older truck in which a couple of the wheels do not hold air well any longer likely due to corrosion on the bead. One tire lose about 5 pounds per week so I have to inflate frequently.

I have an old Craftsman portable compressor which work very well but takes several minutes to inflate a tire due to the tiny size of the compressor and depending on how much air is needed. The 450P is super fast.

Just what I needed. I gave it 4 stars because of the price. $265 is pretty steep but this is a darn good compressor and easy to use. I expect it to last a long time.

The Viair 450P does what it’s supposed to do. When airing up after running the trails I go from ~15psi to 37 PSI in about 15 minutes for four tires. My friends that use CO2 are done quicker but The Viair stores more easily and doesn’t require refills.

Used it yesterday for the first time while wheeling the Jeep. All 3 jeeps aired down and had a great day exploring Anza Borrego Desert State Park. At the end of the day when it was time to air up and hit the hard ball everyone took out various brands of compressors.

This was the first time I had to use my spare tire in over a year, so I wasn’t surprised that it had lost some air in that time, but it’s not like I regularly drop my spare tire down and make sure it’s inflated.

so, I ended up having to take the spare back off, throw it in my buddy’s trunk, and take it to a nearby gas station to inflate it before we could take it back and put it on my SUV. Here’s my whole point of this review: If I had gone through and bought one of these when I was planning to, I would have just re-inflated the spare tire right then and there and I would have been all set to go.

I actually own two of these now, a yellow one to keep in my SUV and an orange one to keep in my girlfriend’s. We both love them, and several of our friends have bought them because of conversations they’ve had with us.

My sister calls me every once in a while asking if she can come over and use mine, so honestly I’ll probably be buying a third to give to her sometime soon. The device itself is awesome. The display is the best part in my opinion – you attach the hose to your tire, and it shows what PSI it’s currently at (that feature is half the reason my sister calls me, she doesn’t have any sort of tire gauge in her car) and then you can use the buttons to tell it what PSI it *should* be at.

You flip a switch, it inflates the tire as much as it needs, and then shuts off automatically. Easy as that. The light is super handy too for if you’re trying to do stuff in the dark. The power cord is long enough that I can easily do all four tires of my SUV from the same cigarette lighter plug by the driver’s seat, which is saying something because I drive a Suburban and the wheelbase is not short to say the least.

Figured I should mention something so it doesn’t seem like this is a fake review or anything haha.

This inflator offers good functionality in a compact package, but its stowage/portability features could be better. Unless you enjoy wrangling cords/hoses whenever you use the pump, consider finding a bag to hold everything.

In use, the compressor does its job competently and without fuss. It’s a simple matter of setting the desired pressure on the backlit LCD screen, then flipping the power switch to start pumping. The unit automatically stops about 1 PSI higher than the set value, which is accurate enough for my needs.

Multi-power input (AC/DC/battery) is among the unit’s better capabilities, but it’s somewhat of a mixed blessing. The battery/charger is not included (and should be available “soon”), resulting in an added expense.

The AC/DC cords are nice and long (almost 10-ft each), but they’re non-detachable and crammed in tiny pockets molded into the bottom of the unit. After wrestling the power cords out initially, storing them again is very fiddly and stressful on the wiring.

The pockets easily could have been made larger (maybe resulting in a less-shapely outer casing), but the manufacturer unfortunately chose form over function. To reduce hassle, I’ll be wrapping the cords outside, rather than using the storage pockets.

The pump also offers a high-volume/low-pressure mode, by flipping the power switch the other way. Separate pressure memories for each mode would have been nice, but it’s easy enough to reset it for each situation.

The unit has clips on top for the low-pressure hose, but I store it separately because it gets in the way of winding/unwinding the high-pressure hose. Overall, this is a decent inflator, but some design choices make the unit less convenient that it could be.

An included bag or case would have been welcome, but as-is, just good enough for a four-star rating.

The AstroIA Air Compressor is the best corded compressor I have used so far as this is my third corded compressor ever used. My only complaint is that the power cord could be much longer as it is not long enough to reach all tires if you have a longer or larger car.

It uses a 12v power cord that connects to your cigarette lighter in the car. However, you can separately purchase an extension cord with a transformer that connects to 12v, which is what I did that can connect to a wall outlet.

Things I like are that it comes with several air pump attachments so that you can pump other items besides tires; a fuse in case you need to replace the fuse (instruction says not to use pump for more than fifteen minutes at a time, so don’t do more than one to two tires at a time); it takes around 6-8 minutes to pump up the tire; automatically shuts off if you set tire to psi you want (there are other forms of measurements in the digital display, so be sure you select “psi” for Americans); light weight; and easy to repack and put back into the box.

Compared to rechargeable battery powered pumps, this is not as fast, but definitely faster than other corded pumps I have used. Other corded pumps can take 10-20 minutes per tire. Rechargeable battery pumps can do a tire in about 3-4 minutes.

I have used this pump about six times so far in about two months because one of my tires has a micro hole that flattens the tire after a few days each time. The pump continues to operate the same as the first time.

It is not as loud as other pumps, but it does make noise. The great thing that this pump has that I did not see in older pumps is the automatic shut off upon reaching the desired psi. I do not have to stay with the pump while it is pumping.

I let it pump in the driveway while I go into house away from the cold. When I hear the pump stops, I come back out to unleash the pump and turn the switch back to off before unplugging it and put it away.

Even when the pump stops, the power remains on as the digital display needs power, so be sure you switch the power off. This pump is light weight and nice looking, and easy to use. It comes with an instructional booklet that has multiple languages.

They should update the compressor with a longer cord though, and it would be perfect.

I saw this little inflator featured on the Project Farm YouTube channel. It worked as well, or better then any of the other inflators that he tested. I didn’t want yet ANOTHER rechargeable tool to worry about.

It always seems that the batteries need charging when you despararely need the tool so getting one that plugs into the cigarette lighter (showing my age) seemed like a good idea. I first used it on an almost completely flat, 265/70R17 truck tire on a 2018 Ram 1500.

Actually the tire registered 5lbs of pressure. I plugged the cord into the lighter, hooked it up and turned it on. The directions do say to turn it on FIRST, then hook it up to the valve stem to avoid burning it out, but who reads directions? 🙄 The pump operated decidedly faster when I started the truck.

And who knows if this thing would drain your battery, so be prepared to run your vehicle while using the pump. It took about 18 minutes to get the tire to 40lbs, but it was in my driveway, so i went inside and made some coffee while I waited.

It might be annoying if you’re on the side of the road, or in a deserted Walmart parking lot at 3:00 a. m. , but 18 minutes goes by pretty quickly when brewing your favorite java bean. When the pump gauge said 40lbs, I unscrewed the hose from the valves stem and checked the pressure with my Slime brand dial gauge.

That also said 40lbs, so either the pump gauge is accurate, or they both are identically wrong. The only negative was that it got incredibly hot. So hot that I could not touch it for more than a second.

I don’t think it would light a cigarette like one of the lighters you used to find in the “accessory outlet” but hot enough that i wanted to let it cool down for a while before zipping it back up in the handy carrying case.

All in all, with a 25% off coupon, I was pretty happy with the results.

This air compressor is the real thing. I have heard that the Viair 88P is fantastic, but this one, the 89P RVS, is way better. The construction is top of the line, solid metal; the motor is strong and the filling process is super fast, and that’s the reason I went with the 89P, even though I don’t have a RV.

The only thing I didn’t like too much was having to twist the chuck when connecting the air hose to the tires. Nevertheless, I solve that problem by purchasing from Amazon an adapter that quickly and securely clips to the air valve without having to twist and twist; in addition it has a button for releasing any excess of air, which I think is fabulous.

Now I have the best of both worlds and I’m sooo happy….

Nice compact air pump. Fits perfectly in C6 Corvette storage bin. Pump seems to be of good quality, all metal construction and sturdy feeling. Pumped up a 255. 70. 16 tire from 10psi in about 3min. Pump seems to be quieter than other pumps of similar type, a little noisy but they all make a considerable amount of noise.

Only short coming is it gets hot while running but i think that is a common trate with all pumps like this. Just let it cool before putting it back in storage bag. Air guage reads about 5psi higher while running, just turn pump off and gauge will drop to near accurate reading.

At this point in ownership I recommend this pump and would buy again.

The build quality is very high with this whole unit, the rubber hose, aluminum threaded air fittings, and even the solid one piece needle valve attachment for basketballs and such are top notch!I tested this by comparing the indicated pressure against my manual gauge, it was very close.

I filled a large SUV tire, 245/50r20, up from 30 to 38psi and this pump did it in 2min 52seconds, on 2 bars of battery 50%. It got warm but not hot, while its running there is a fan pulling in cool air.

I held the pump while it filled the tire because there isnt a good way to set this down in a driveway while its running, I didnt want to scratch it all up!Its louder than some pumps of this size, but not horrible, but again I was holding it the whole time, I usually walk away from running compressors.

A habit from many years of working with automotive air tools in my home garage. This pump did well, and is sized for easy travel, and is powerful enough for almost any job. Each mode has a different max psi that it can be set to, 150psi is the max for the first mode, 50 in the car mode, 43 in the scooter mode, 145 in bicycle mode, and 16 in basketball mode.

Overall Im impressed with this small portable pump. Its smaller than a 20oz pop!Updateadded pictures: Comparable to name brand equipment! I used this when it had a full battery to refill a large trailer tire from 35 to 53psi, both tires were filled at the same time and both pumps pictured did the job in almost the same time 10 seconds apart! I replaced a smaller, less expensive cordless pump with this unit. It had failed after about a year of use, mostly on bicycle tires but occasionally for cars and motorcycles also. It was one of the choices at a lower price point and I can now appreciate what spending more gets you in terms of performance and convenience.

The motor in this device is obviously a higher quality. It is not as noisy, doesn’t vibrate as much and stays fairly cool when running. The battery is larger and should be less likely to suffer from wear since I won’t have to charge it as often.

The connections for the air hose are precise fitting. There isn’t any airleaking past the threads and the hose stays tightly connected. The hose threads onto the valve stem for regular valves and includes fittings for presta bike valves and for general inflating.

I suggest you also separately buy an extension with a locking thumb lever, like on a bicycle pump. That would make things more convenient for you if you’re mostly inflating tires, you can just lock it on one handed instead of carefully threading on the hose.

Extensions with this type of lever are available elsewhere on Amazon. The setting for inflating different types of tires and the pressure setting are simple to adjust and the controls are perfectly logical to use.

So the ease of use is great and it’s versatile for bikes, cars and general use. I expect the larger battery and more powerful motor will assure that this inflator outlasts my previous one. So far this is a better choice than a unit at a lower price point.

Longevity of battery and electronics is hard to estimate, but this seems like a good price/performance ratio and it is very handy. It is certainly a good choice among many similar items.

Ive kept on top of tire pressure for many years, likely because Ive had electric vehicles where range is an issue. Ive done that with a corded tire inflator and a digital tire pressure gauge. The digital gauge works well but the tire inflator doesnt have a cut-off at a set pressure.

In practice this means you end up over-inflating and then manually deflating to get to the pressure you want. Also the cord means the inflator isnt particularly mobile, and using it invariably involves dragging out an extension cord.

Not the end of the world but not super easy either. The Fanttik X8 resolves these inconveniences. Since its battery powered its super mobile. Not only does this make it easy to move around the garage, you can also put it in the trunk and take it with you its very compact.

The inflation process is 100% automatic. You just screw one end of the inflation cord onto the tire — nice connection BTW — dial in the desired pressure, and press to start. When the pressure hits the top of the set pressure the inflation pressure stops.

Overall this is advance over what I have been doing. So five stars. I only have a couple of quibbles. One is that a slightly longer inflation cord would be nice. As it is now, if the tire stem is on the top of the tire you have to set the X8 on the bottom.

This isnt as stable as being able to set it on its side. The second quibble is that instructions didnt make clear that the tire connector was actually part of the inflation cord. They showed the tire adapter but didnt show it connected to the cord.

On the subject of instructions and packaging, other than this the instructions were very clear. And the packaging was rather Apple-like and super nice.

This company offers several different models, and I choose this one specifically because it is more robust and designed for up to 150 PSI. Always purchase small items like this at 2x your requirements so you have margin in the design for long life and reliability.

I will never use it at the 150 PSI levekl, so I have no idea how efficient it might be at tire pressures above 60 PSI. thing is, 60 PSI is the most I need for my purposes, so there is plenty of margin in this unit by design.

That said, I bet it struggles in the last 50 PSI to get to 150. depending on the size of the item being inflated. I tested the unit right after delivery and everything works great. Build quality is great as well, and I will add that this unit is much quieter than the old unit I am replacing.

Clearly this unit is for the occasional topping up of a few tires, or the full inflation of either several bike tires or maybe one SUV tire, before it gets too warm to continue to use. So purchase to the scale of your inflation tasks, rather than just the paper specs.

The manufacturer indicates it will self stop once it reaches an specific internal temperature (which they expect comes with ~10 minutes of continual use). Lastly, people need to have realistic expectations on how fast a small unit like this will inflate a tire to spec pressure.

35 liters of air per minute is what it is spec’ed at, so plan accordingly. I would expect this unit would take about 5 minutes to fully inflate a larger tire like an SUV tire from 0 PSI as the starting point.

One thing to note: take a few moments to dress up the power cord away from where the soft foot pads are on the underside, because if you were to allow the cord to sit under one of the rubber feet, I imagine you will destroy the power cord.

I just used a wire tie-wrap to dress the cable to insure it never gets stomped on, easy modification for long life and durability.

Main use: Top off my tires for all 3 cars, and keep in the car of my trunk for emergencies. YMMV if you’re gonna use this for outlanding / off-road purposes where you air-out and fill air often on 33″ – 35″ tires.

However, my use purposes, this worked fine. I did test this out this past weekend with my 3 cars (1 SUV, 1 mid-size car and 1 compact hatch), and it worked fine. I topped off all 3 vehicles in a row with no issues.

Just to give you an idea of what the compressor went through, below are the conditions:- Temp: 45 degrees F- Air needed in each tire – SUV: 4lbs each tire, Mid-size: 2lbs each tire, Compact HB: 8 lbs each tireI didn’t do an exact timing but to get pump the 8 lbs in the HB took around 3 minutes each tire.

The pump didn’t get too hot probably given the lower temperature in my garage. It is not all that compact like the ones that come with one of those cheap roadside emergencies kits, but it fills much faster than those smaller, cheaper ones which take forever to fill up even a couple of lbs or pressure.

It is small enough to keep in the trunk of your car without sacrificing too much space. I just keep it in my trunk’s cargo box where I also keep my first aid kit, flat tire tools, umbrella, etc. Thus, good pump for my use purpose, but my results given the above conditions may be different from yours (i.

e. overheating in Arizona or Texas summer heat). We’ll see how long it lasts which is why I’m reserving 1 star for now.

This tire inflator is small but it worked very well filling my tire from 10lbs to 32lbs in less than 3 minutes. It is quiet for its size and is solidly built. It easy to set up and easy to pack away (in the supplied bag) for emergency use on the road.

If I could improve it, I would probably rethink the carrying handle. Otherwise, I recommend it for personal use or for gifting.

This model air pump has a major design flaw. The air hose is located too close to motor. As the motor operates and generates heat. The air hose became loose in it’s housing,then popped out(literally) during the inflation proceess! Leaving me stranded.

Miles from any service station or repair facility!.

Very high quality product and very accurate to its pressure settings. Like the screw on fitting. No pressure is lost on disconnect.

I’ve always wanted a 120v air compressor for tires and things around the house, without buying full size compressor. I have owned those 12v cigarette plugin type over the years, between the noise + vibration the thing would bounce all over.

But this thing did everything right, noise was not as high pitched, and while running the compressor never moved at all. I really couldn’t believe it, but the soft pads on bottom kept it from moving.

You can tell it’s well built, & comes with 2yr warranty WOW, also if you look how they wrap hose and cord when you take it out. And put back the same way it goes back in box for storage. Just really like it , blew up the couple Lbs each tire was down in few min.

+ as air chuck is taken on or off there’s no noticeable amount of air loss. Would highly recommend, definitely would buy again for sure, might get cheaper at big box store. But to me the few dollars is worth the lines+crowd’s.

Have a portable inflater that plugs into running engine, but this one beats them all. It is a small, sturdy unit that inflates tires within a minute or two. Best of all, you can inflate your tires without starting your engine or even opening the doors.

Just get an extension cord, attach the device, plug it in and you’re done in minutes. No we can always have our tires at the correct pressure and not have to pay at a gas station. Fabulous purchase!.

As I looked for a reasonably built air compressor for my car tires, most of what I found were the cheaply made products that plug into your cars cigarette lighter/plug. That is exactly the product that I was intending to avoid.

Then I saw this product, and it is hard to tell by photos alone, but I was willing to take the chance. As it turns out, this unit quite well made. The coupling for the valve stem attaches easily and is secure.

The unit gets warm to the touch due to pressurizing the volume of air needed for a car tire, but it was never trouble. I pumped up 8 tires by about 4 lbs. each to get to the desired pressure of 35 lbs.

I have no doubts about buying this product and am glad that I found it.

I want to start by saying I have two of these, The first one I purchased off of a tool truck and it gave me over two years of hard service, when it finally failed, I wasn’t upset, I used this thing every day.

Tool truck was out of them, so I went to a local store and got a replacement, This one worked one time!!! I used it on a small lawn mower tire, put it up and forgot about it. I went on a work trip and was not at home for a few months, when I got back, took this thing out to air that same tire up, and it would not cycle on, display comes on, I can set the PSI and everything looks good.

Hit the go button and nothing happens. Very disappointing, This thing is literally brand new, and it failed, and even though its only worked once, I have had it over 90 days so I cant return it and as others have stated on here, sending it in to have it repaired as 85% of the cost of the thing.

I love Dewalt tools, have loads of them, but I went with a different brand for my portable Air Compressor needs. I gave it an overall 3 because the first one worked well, the second one by itself would be a negative 3.

Bought in 2018. Light home use, filling occasional air mattresses and a little air in the lawn mower or tractor tires. Great to use, setting the PSI and letting it go is great, never struggled to fill a tire.

All in all though, probably used no more than 20-25 times. After this winter, I pulled it out to top the tractor tires off. Turned it on, everything looked fine, set the PSI, hit start. A brief sound and spin of the compressor then it turned off.

Turned it back on. From that point on the start button does nothing in either mode. No response from the machine. Display and other controls still work. Past the warranty period, so I guess that’s it for this one.

I really like it, but I don’t feel like it should be dead on me after a few years and light use.

I’m a contractor and I haul a dump trailer and get lots of flat tires on it, the tires I have on it sit at 80 PSI, I tested it today on a flat after repairing it, it filled it to 78psi then the freshly charged large 4AH batt died and took a good 30 mins! Now if you were using it for small cars (30psi) or what not this is perfect but soon as you start going over the 50 psi you better not be in a rush and have extra batteries laying around! Or use the included 12v car adapter but soon as you unwrap it your never getting it back in it’s compartment! Now the interface is perfect! It tells you what it’s and the even the percentage and you can set and forget as it will stop on its own after it reaches the set psi but the fact that they advertise on the box up to 160psi I could only assume that would take over a hour and a flexvolt battery or 2 and that’s hoping it dosnt catch on fire from running that long! All in all, your average user doesn’t need to go beyond 50 psi so I would still recommend this with the caution of the misleading box!.

This has become a go-to for soccer practice and camping. It’s easy enough to throw in the back of the car, plug into the port, and fix whatever has deflated due to time, weather, or whatever. The cord-wrap is nice, makes it super easy to store.

I also like the way they store attachments and the power chord. It feels like being compact was a major focus, and it has paid off big time.

We just love our Sharper Image Car Air Compressor! It works well and is compact. You can keep it in your car or use it at home to inflate bike tires, etc. This would make a great gift because you can pump anywhere instead of looking for a gas station or somewhere to fill up your tires.

It’s so nice that it has lights on it too so if you ever are in a situation at night where you have to pull over you can see. It also comes with 3 different nozzles so fit whatever you need inflated.

I got this about a month ago. We put it in my daughters car because she travels back and forth to college a lot. This came in Handy for her on the road! She was coming back from college, which is about an hour drive, and she felt her tire go out.

She pulled over and was able to keep her tire aired until she could reach a gas station and get help putting on her spare. This saved her from having to pay the expensive fee for someone to come to the interstate to help her.

Superior product!!!!.

Seems cheap and flimsy In hindsight I wish Id spent a few extra dollars and bought a decent one . You really do get what you pay for . It works but yeh not the best investment

Fine for floaties but if you want a pump that inflates a standard size 4wd tyre from 18psi to 45 psi in under 7 minutes, look elsewhere.

This compressor is awesome !! Comes with everything you need to inflate duel tires. You can quickly over inflate a tire if you are not careful. I use 2 pressure gauges to check the tires. One is the dial gauge that comes with the compressor (reads slightly high).

The other one is a regular tire gauge. The instructions could be better. You have to remember to take out the red plug in front of the compressor and screw on the air filter. The instruction booklet puts this important step at the back of the booklet.

The carry bag it comes in holds extra items (like an extra tire gauge and extra fuses, and other things),.

Extremely satisfied with this purchase. The compressor came as advertised and works extremely well. Quiet and strong. Pumping our 5ver tires to 110 takes just a few minutes now instead of half an hour with my old pancake compressor and generator.

The pump seems to be well build and feels as though it should last for years to come. Really surprised with the performance as I expected it to be overrated. Believe me when I say it is not. You will not be disappointed with the compressor.

After doing a bunch of research, and being a former mechanic of sorts, the VIAIR’s products are the best. I purchased this to use for on the road use, for our truck (tires AND air bag suspension, which requires regular air additions @ 80 plus psi), along with trailer tires @ 65 plus psi.

It’s nearly impossible to find access to air on the road, let alone a gas station air system that works or is accurate. I especially like the added features of this model, being able to check air pressure as you are in the process.

Recently purchased this auto air pump for my vehicles due to the weather in Texas fluctuating from hot to cold and back again and causing multiple TPMS readings on multiple cars. According to the internal TPMS in my Nissan Murano, the tires were at 26 PSI and should be at 35 PSI.

When I connected the AutoJoe, the reading for 1 tire said 24 PSI, and the other was at 23 PSI. It took about a minute per PSI to inflate the tires, so around 24 minutes. In that time the unit became very hot, almost unbearable to touch, and it went from 100% power to less than 1/3 power remaining, it’s hard to tell as there are only 3 bars on a battery icon to show the power level as opposed to a digital readout with numbers/percentage.

Additionally, the cord they included for the pump was too short, I had to hold the unit up in my palms while it was pumping as it would not reach the ground easily, and for the other tire when it could reach the ground, it vibrated soo much that it was moving down my driveway so I had to again hold it to keep it from drifting away.

Additionally, when I unhooked the pump plug, I noticed that the cord had loosened at the end connected to the pump, there is no locking mechanism to keep it from simply twisting during operation and loosening.

3 star because as far as I can tell, for now, it did inflate the tire to the proper level, and it still seems to be able to continue to operate. I am giving the motor a break because I was concerned by the temperature the body had risen to.

I will not recharge it for now and will see if that is enough of a charge to let me inflate the other 2 tires as they are also at the same level of inflation. More to come.

I received the Auto Joe ATJ-CA100 Ultra Compact Cordless Digital Air Pump Inflator. I love that this has multiple uses. Not only can you inflate your tires and inflatables with included attachments but this can also be used as a power bank or as an emergency blinker.

The pump charges via USB or from a cigarette lighter. The functions are displayed digitally and are easy to use with the presets or manually. The pump will stop once it’s at the desired PSI. I also like how compact it is.

It fits comfortably in the palm of my hand and is light weight. I like that there is an included storage bag which fits neatly in my glove compartment. This really is the perfect device to have on you at all times when you’re driving.

It pumps up rather slowly but it works very well. I would definitely recommend!.

While this is super handy in emergencies, there are definitely a few tweaks that it needs. It needs a longer hose as it’s hard to bend over for long periods of time holding the machine. Also the connection to the machine is a bit difficult and I fear would wear down quickly if you were to disconnect it after every use.

Other than that, it works great! It’s easy to read and easy to use. It hooks up to the tire easily and fills the tire quicker than any other small pump I’ve ever used. It’s small size also is convenient for storage in the car for emergency use as well.

The USB charge is also quite convenient as you can charge it in the car if you had to use it on a long trip. Definitely recommend for your emergency kit!.
