20 Best Pore Minimizing Products For Oily Skin (2023 Updated)

Works so well as a very fluid, lightweight mattifier. I apply it right before sunscreen, after any other serums, treatments, Rxs, etc. , to mattify even the most greasy, shiny, and tacky SPF. It leaves a nice dry, clean feeling on the skin without actually drying out my skin (which has been a problem with other mattifiers).

I could do without the scent, but I don’t find that it lingers, so you aren’t smelling it all day. It also works great on top of sunscreen for touchups during the day and after sunscreen reapplication.

And because it’s so fluid, it’s very easy to apply (which isn’t the case with some other, thicker mattifiers). I don’t like to feel like I’m wearing layers of products during the day, and this really helps with that I live in a really hot humid place so this is very helpful.

The purpose of the Bioderma Sebium Global confused me a bit and should have a few pointer on the box or tube advising you of why you need the product. From what I could see, it is supposed to assist with treating severe blemishes.

The light feeling lotion is a white colour which has a little translucency to it and a light scent which fresh, almost cucumber like. If I wear this cream without a moisturising cream on top I get dry and flaky skin in some areas (around my nose) within a few days and sometimes after a few hours of application, other areas of my face becomes super oily (basically without a moisturiser on top, it aggravates combination skin) but when it is applied and then a moisturiser is applied on top I found it helped with my acne.

Though it does help reduce the severity and frequency of pimples when used under other moisturiser I was not sold on buying this product again. Made in France.

I was lucky enough to score a sample of #Biodermaporerefiner with one of the boxes I received from #Pinchme. Yes! I can say all that positive stuff about it now but. seeing that I don’t normally use this type of product, nor did I believe it would actually show signs of having any effectiveness to improve whatever imperfection it was made for.

Throughout my many years of experience, trying every new miracle product that came out over the last 4 decades, I found that most of the products that are the type to have all the different individual treatments for every specific need, are the ones that really don’t work that great so they try to make their money by getting ppl to try several different types of treatments on the first sale.

I always, swore by how strongly I personally felt that all you really needed is a good washing technique with a gentle cleanser, exfoliate once or twice a week, avoid too much sun, eat healthy and use one really good moisturizer at night as a daily routine.

So, I bet you can probably guess how stupid this “old miss thinks I know it all” feels now😂 Yes! I ended up being quite shocked when Bioderma proved me wrong after all these yrs lol. Having a very pale complexion, you see every imperfection on my skin, my pores stand out almost as bad as my freckles.

From the very first time, just mins after applying Bioderma, I could see a noticeable difference. Each day I used it my pores appeared smaller until they were barely noticeable at all (even when I was purposely looking for them in a magnifying mirror).

It also seemed to get rid of my most recent issue of being disfigured looking from having an outbreak of reversed puberty (thank you!!!) Seriously!?!? Come on now!!! This Ain’t Even right !! Why in the world am I getting zits now that I’m in my Golden Years when I’ve never had any problems with them.

This product made me fall in love with Estee Lauder many years ago. I love how it smells lightly like sophisticated fruity pebbles. Yes, That is a thing! It feels like the finest cashmere, silk and velvet all liquified into one.

Applying this to your skin feel likes a luxury. And what it does to your skin is phenomenal. You will notice immediate improvement of texture and brightness. Your skin regardless of condition will feel young and look vibrant again after using this product regularly.

Every woman needs idealist in their beauty arsenal. I also think if you only use one skin improvement this needs to be it. I have used it for so many years and look 10 years younger than anyone my age without invasive treatments.

No fragrance, great. Lightweight, cooling, dries fairly quick. Think I’m seeing some of the pores on my nose looking smaller or blurred or tightened. It’s not drastic. (note that they are enlarged due to mild rosacea so maybe minimal possibilities for that).

I also want to cancel my previous review if possible where I thought this had caused me to break out. Tried it again to be sure after taking a break and no problems, so I must have layered it with something else the first time that was too much.

I use this first let dry or mostly dry, then do my usual routine, starting with a hydrating mist. As far as effectiveness, I’ll keep using and see if there’s a cumulative effect. In any case, I’m getting better results wrt to pores than I’ve gotten with TO Niacinamide serum (which has other value, but just not for pore shrinking).

I bought this product because there was an IG story mentioning this will help refine skin. So I purchased it immediately because I have been dealing with clogged pores and damage from using drugstore cleansers and serums.

So I was excited to use it with my other Cocokind products. So I used the product for a good three weeks to a month. My skin did not change as mentioned in the IG story. I was bummed out I did not get to see the same results others have experienced.

My skin was really congested because of post pregnancy hormones, and the pores around my cheeks were huge! Within three days my skin was more even, pores appeared smaller and I had significantly less blackheads and whiteheads.

I pair it with the super quench moisturizer and it didn’t dry out my skin. Be sure to use it on alternating nights as retinol, or different times of day.

I like the consistency of this product. It doesn’t burn or sting and it isn’t sticky. I haven’t seen any mind-blowing results yet, and for the price I did expect a little better, but I am sticking with it to see how it works long term.

I like that the scent is light and that it is thin and watery, so it is easy to layer with other products. It isn’t drying so far.

I have very large pores around my nose and was hoping this serum would help minimize their appearance but no luck. Unfortunately for me everytime I use it the surface of my skin develops these awful scales and it makes matters worse.

Three stars because there was no lasting damage and I think it might work well for some, it was just a miss for me.

I received this as a sample from Dr. Brandt and Sephora. I am amazed at how well it works. I have extremely oily skin that gets shiny fast. This keeps my skin matte and moisturized. And layers well with other products (I’ve had issues in the past with pilling or lifting of other products with different mattifying gels).

Especially works magnificently as a primer! Pores appeared smaller however, I did get a few small breakouts, but I mistakenly tried another product at the same time and I’m positive that one is the culprit.

Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it smells unpleasant. Not what I want that close to my face when waking up and applying first thing in the morning! Scent does fade but I just don’t like it coming out of the bottle.

So for that reason alone I’ll be sticking to my usual mattifying moisturizer because it does all the same things plus smells pleasant.

I am a 57 year old female who has battled acne since age 15. I have allergic reactions to Benzoyl Peroxide and can’t tolerate prescription retinoids. When I use various acne treatments sometimes my skin purges and never stops, so I have to quit the product.

Paula’s Choice 2% BHA, 10% Azelaic Acid, CeraVe Retinol Resurfacing Serum, and prescription 15% Finacea Azelaic Acid have all been VERY helpful, but I still have had relentless pencil eraser sized bumps and blackheads that did not improve no matter what I tried.

I bought Paula’s 4% BHA and “BAM” I am finally getting excellent results!! I have been using it once a day for 2 weeks and my skin is finally clearing and those relentless bumps have reduced by 80-90%.

The product is softening and loosening hard plugs that I am now able to gently extract rather easily. I have an oily t-zone, but all treatment products give me some flaking and peeling as they exfoliate.

To avoid irritation, at night after using a gentle cleanser I apply a hyaluronic acid serum onto damp skin, pat on Paula’s Skin Recovery Toner, apply the 4% BHA and massage in gently, then let that sit until dry.

My last step is to dampen my hands and add a small amount of oil free face lotion or cream, mix that in my hands and gently pat and press the moisturizer all over my face. I add the water to thin it out a bit, I don’t like the feel of a heavy coat of moisturizer on my face, I just add a very light thin coat on top.

I am use to be afraid of moisturizers, but find it helps my acne lesions clear and heal much faster when used with a treatment product. The thick serum the 4% BHA is mixed in is actually less drying on my skin than the 2% BHA liquids.

but I love them all. It only takes takes 1-2 drops of the 4% BHA serum to cover my face and neck. It spreads easier if you also slightly dampen your fingertips or hands first (or) apply it before your toner is 100% dry.

My neck looks better than it has in years since using this 4% BHA on it.

Oh my gosh. I have been using a different brand of salicylic acid that claims to use 3. 5% for YEARS. It just never worked all that well. It worked a little, with slight peeling one day a week at most and I was using it every night.

So, when I got this 4% Salicylic acid from PC, I jumped into using every night since I thought my skin was already acclimated to SA. Wow. My skin was flaking every morning from day one. Not irritated, just good ole flaking.

Good cell turnover. I use this at night and the Azaleic acid booster in the morning. BAM! Perfect combo for me. My skin texture has improved so much and my dark spots are fading quickly. I love this.

Please never stop making it!!.

I’m a 38 yo combination skin type that is more on the drier side with the weather change. I’ve been getting maskacne and this has made a huge difference. I’ve been using this product more consistently for a few weeks.

I love the serum texture/ usually SA irritates my skin but not this one its not tacky, glides on well and plays well with other non PC products, I use this AM since Im currently using a non PC at night.

I don’t want to cause a sensitized reaction This product keeps my pores clean, baby soft texture and my plumps my skin and has a nice little glow that I’m not complaining about at all. This has become a staple am purchasing more today.

Please don’t stop making this EVER!.

I actually used the gel. A different Biore product. But couldn’t find it to tag it. But it’s deep cleaning and really cleans out pores AND helps fight my acne! Unfortunately I have to watch my use with it because it will dry my skin/irritate it if I use everyday twice a day.

But I’d buy it again in fact I have twice!.

Omg, I love Love LOVE this face scrub!! I used to think that in order to reduce my large pores, I had to scrub the heck out of my face with St. Ives Apricot Scrub every night, which is like one step down from a Brillo pad to your poor face:( But after getting large cystic sore acne welts from over-exfoliating/irritating, I took a step back and changed a LOT with my cleansing habits.

I heard about charcoal reducing pores, and decided to give this Biore scrub a try. I’m SO happy that I did because this face scrub is the best thing I have ever used to wash my face with!! For one thing, I really appreciate the grit in this stuff, which feels kind of like table salt in a very soapy-foamy lather.

There are no stupid plastic balls. I HATE those plastic balls!! They provide NO exfoliation whatsoever!! Seriously, there’s like one smooth plastic ball in every inch of product spread across your face!! But, I digress.

Anyways, it has completely transformed my face into this super smooth, polished, dewy surface with NO visible pores! Can u believe that?? I can’t say if it will work for u guys as well as it worked on me because everyone’s skin is so different, and because I also changed my moisture regime by adding 2 drops of tea tree oil (which is nature’s antibacterial oil btw) to my Shea butter face lotion every night.

But the tea tree oil does nothing for pores and cleansing, so the Biore is the winner, and at least buy a bottle and try this on your own skin. I will never use another face scrub as long as they keep making this stuff!!.

This by far is the worse face product I have ever put on my face!!! I got a severe allergic reaction and it didn’t happen till after a week of using it on my face! I noticed my face feeling very dry and a burning sensation which wasn’t normal at all! I started to break out on one side of my face and then my face started to feel itchy and painful! I didn’t realize I was allergic to this until I washed my face with it one last time, then I noticed my face feeling worse!!! So I looked up reviews to see if people felt the same symptoms as me so I decided not to use this product again.

After a couple of days not using it my face feels a lot better and it’s starting to heal. I do not recommend this product if you have sensitive skin, and I would try it on your hand first before using it on your face to see if you are allergic to it or not.

The pain is very unbearable and lasts a long time so be cautious in using this!.

It comes in a white tube with green soft plastic letters, so you can take advantage of the entire product by even cutting it if necessary, although I cut it when I finished it and there was nothing left on the walls.

It follows the aesthetics that Bioderma uses in all its packaging, simple and in this case green because it is the line dedicated to oily / combination skin. The dispenser is with a small hole, it is small so as not to waste product and wide enough so that the product can come out without problems.

I really like these cans because I see them very hygienic and comfortable. It is a gel / cream format texture, it is quite liquid, very fresh and absorbs immediately, almost that it looks more like a gel format.

It is very comfortable to wear and does not remove fat. I apply it only at night because it contains acids, although in a low concentration so if you use high SPF during the day there would be no problem using it during the day too, I already tell you in summer that I prefer to prevent.

The smell is pleasant as a floral scent. At the time of applying it, notice a small stinging or tingling sensation, this is due to acids, but it disappears soon. It does not have to irritate the skin, since the acids are in small concentration.

Personally, it helps me control imperfections, although I do not feel hydrated skin, it is a good product but it is more for oily skin.

Ok let me be fair here. Its a eye gel. Not a eye tuck if youre looking for a deep eye lift this is not the correct product. It may be good for young eyes. Definitely not for me. Im 48 and my bags are very noticeable.

So Im afraid this only refreshes. ( calm the bag a little or slightly) No instant bag reduction or anything like that. And I sleep with it as well using during the day. Im afraid I just wasted 5 but thats what I was supposed to get for the money.

Im keeping using it until purchase something amazing. Ive used Beverly Hills in the past but although was super effective it irritated my skin a little and this gel at least does not have side effects.

This product does help to mattify my skin when used the during day and causes no irritation. I do not see any changes with my pore so far. I will continue to use it until I finish it up to decide if I want to repurchase it or not.

Nothing special with it for the price since niacinamide is found in many other cheaper products.

I made several attempts at trying the Pore Minimizer Skin Mattifying Gel. Each time I broke out, badly, and in areas of my face where I’ve never had breakouts. I waited for everything to clear up before switching out my products, determined to make it work.

On the third and final try, I was down to using Facial Wash (not my usual cleanser) and just the Pore Gel, resulting in milia on my cheeks the day after one application. Perhaps it was bulid-up from the earlier attempts? I never noticed a change in pore size.

So disappointing as pore size is always a concern for clients.

Considering this mattifying lotion does not contain any age-defying or acne-fighting ingredients and acts solely as a mattifying moisturizer, it is hard to justify its cost. Don’t get me wrong, it is a very good product, but it is quite overpriced, so I don’t purchase it often.

I was really pleasantly surprised at the formulation and feel of this product. It’s comfortably thin and spreads easily. I could that it’s best to put my niacinamide on damp skin and then it glides on best.

It has very faint scent so I don’t feel like it’s going to sensitise me. I have yet to see how it works long term but my first impressions are really great. Side note: a lot of people complain about the film niacinamide leaves on their skin.

I find that when only small amount is used on damp skin I don’t really get that. There is always some tackiness but it feels more like after primer.

Been using the Ordinary for the past year however this one from Catrice is as good as the Ordinary! Actually a see less sebum and oil. Only difference is that Catrice’s one is more liquid than the Ordinary one.

I’ve been trying out this product for the last 3 days and i’ve absolutely loving it. The packaging itself has a very clean design and i love that the dispenser in a pump rather than a dropper or squeeze bottle.

The serum is clear with the most amazing and fragrant lilac smell that i just adore, it smells SO GOOD! The texture of the serum feels very light on the skin but has a tacky feeling once the product starts to absords into your skin.

Personally i’m not fan of the tacky feeling but it’s something you can easily overlook because this product is so amazing. Now I’ve never had very large pores but you could still see the pores i have with the naked eye.

In the last few days of testing out this serum my pores have literally vanished! I can’t see them anymore, its amazing!! And in addition the breakouts i had on my skin also have started to fade and clear up even though this product doesn’t claim to be a pimple/acne treatment.

I’m in love with this product and i can’t wait to see how my skin improves more in the future! I will definitely continue to use the product and i highly recommend it to others!.

I recieved this product free from Influenster and Philosophy in exchange for my honest review. I did enjoy the texture of this product. It felt like a serum but wasn’t tacky when dry. It felt like my skin just absorbed it really well.

It is not fragrance, It just smells like whatever is naturally in it, which to me smells like some kind of kitchen spice I can’t quite place. Maybe aniseed, but it’s very light. I have used this for about 3 weeks on my nose, cheeks, forehead and chin (places I usually get blackheads).

What I have noticed is that the appearance and feeling of my blackheads has decreased. Therefore my pores are not as noticeable due to the decrease in blackhead collection. I will continue to use this ser until the bottle is used, but I’m not sure if it’s revolutionary or a holy grail.

It is still a very good option if you want to add salicylic acid to your routine.

Let me start by saying I don’t have very sensitive skin, and I’m not the most educated when it comes to how certain ingredients react to others in my skincare routine, but I can only use this serum 3x a week because it makes my skin so dry and flakey.

I did have some minor acne purging when i first started using it, which is when acne medicine causes breakouts to get worse before it gets better. I do still have some hormonal cystic acne popping up (but I don’t think that’s related to me using this, im on a new antidepressant).

This has helped tremendously with the speed of healing for those new marks, and I am seeing a huge difference in blackheads and general clogged pores. My skin texture has also improved 75% in just the month that I’ve been using it.

These results still aren’t amazing in my book because I have these new dry spots making the texture/skin peeling just as ugly as it was before. If it does irritate your skin, I recommend spot treating making sure to use an hydrating mask on your off days.

It is definitely worth a shot if you struggle with adult acne.

I absolutely love this product. I use it every morning and every night before bed. I have noticed a significant improvement in my skin. I struggle from hormonal acne as well as combination skin depending on the time of year.

This stuff was really helpful in minimizing my pores and drying my skin out just enough for it to work well for both my acne and still ensure I don’t get too dried out. My only complaint is the new packaging… the old bottle was SO MUCH BETTER.

This new bottle pumps out WAY too much product – much more than you need so it’s almost like they want us to waste it/finish it off earlier so we can go ahead and buy another bottle. Other than that, that’s my only complaint.

It’s a bit pricey but I wouldn’t be able to live without it. And plus is if you use it properly then it should last you several months – I’ve only had to purchase about 2 bottles in the last 10 months so not too bad.

This is an interesting product. It’s marketed as a serum but I think it is more effective as a primer with bonus skincare benefits. I comes in a beautiful heavy red glass bottle with an automatic dropper feature.

Despite having dimethicone as the second ingredient, it doesn’t have a thick silicone-y texture. It’s surprisingly lightweight and absorbs nicely on the skin. It contains some good skincare ingredients including Glycerin, 3% Niacinamide, and 2.

5% Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5. (I really appreciate that they state the percentages of active ingredients on the packaging. ) While this brand is marketed towards people with melanin-rich skin, I think a product like this would be suitable for anyone regardless of skin tone.

I found this product actually gave me a feeling of tightness to my skin. It was effective at smoothing the look of pores and lines and the active ingredients should help with minimizing pores over time.

I found the tightening sensation a little uncomfortable but I think most people wouldn’t be bothered by it. It did seem to lessen the effect if I used it as a serum and was more smoothing if I used it as a primer for foundation.

My biggest issue with this product is the excessively strong fragrance. I don’t think I have ever used a product with such a strong scent. And it lingers all day. Even if I apply this as a serum and follow it up with moisturizer, sunscreen, and foundation, it is still so strong that I couldn’t smell my perfume.

The scent reminds me of a feminized version of men’s aftershave. If you are sensitive at all to fragrance, you will want to avoid this product. It gave me a headache making this promising product unusable for me.

I don’t usually leave reviews because I always get a new product and then I’m let down. But THIS!!! I have tried everything on my skin for dark spots/hyperpigmentation. EVERYTHING! This product is absolutely divine.

My skin is so smooth and my dark spots have faded 80%. Everyday my skin looks better and better. I am so much more confident and I’m in awe everytime I look in the mirror. I say this not to sound vain, I’m just so appreciative.

I’m Asian and have been dealing with large pores and blackheads for most of my life around my nose area. I have naturally oily skin, and have tried products in the past that haven’t done much for my pores.

I came across this at Target and decided to give it a shot since it’s not overly expensive for one. I usually am pretty skeptical about these types of products, but I’m impressed that within a few days, I am seeing smaller pores on my nose! I think with continued use, the pores will shrink to a place where I’m happy with my nose even without makeup coverage! The only watch-out is that you should avoid using this in areas that don’t need to be treated, as I’ve experienced dry skin in other parts of my face where my pores aren’t large, but well worth a try for anyone who wants to get rid of large pores!.

TLDR; This is a great niacinamide serum that is comparable in texture and effectiveness to the Inkey List or The Ordinary. This helps control my oil production and prevent blackheads. However, if you have sensitive skin, the other active ingredients (willow bark and tea tree) as well as the herbal fragrance may be sensitizing and not for you.

Otherwise, great serum for oily peeps in adorable and heavy packaging! I was running out of my Inkey List niacinamide when this dropped, so I tossed it into my cart. This is surprisingly great! It’s a good consistency, maybe a little on the tacky side compared to the Inkey List, it’s helped control my oil when I’ve been using it twice daily, and I haven’t had any adverse reactions to it.

I’m an oily acne-prone skin type, and niacinamide is the holy grail ingredient for dealing with excess oil and blackheads. I also had experience using willow bark and tea tree before, and they are also nice for cutting down on my oil and preventing whiteheads.

Compared to the Inkey List and The Ordinary, this serum is similarly effective! Just note the other two active ingredients are not typically sensitive-skin friendly, especially tea tree. Speaking of sensitive skin, please note that this serum has fragrance!! It’s a medium-strength herbal scent, but it doesn’t last long and isn’t detectable once worked into the skin.

I actually enjoy the smell, and think it makes it kind of fun and relaxing to use (though if given the choice, I’d want it unscented in the future just on principle). However, if your issue is skin contact with fragrance, I’d maybe find an alternative! As good as this serum is, no product can be for everyone, so just give the ingredients a look over before purchasing!.

I bought this as an impulse buy while walking towards the pharmacy in the clearance section along with the oil control liquid lotion. I have oily skin, and embarrassing to say-large pores. I’ve used SOOO many different products to reduce the oil, reduce blemishes, keep moisturized without causing the oil to return, and reduce the size of my pores.

It began to be too much effort. This impulse buy was totally acceptable. This stuff has been working to not only control the oil production, but it NOTICEABLY has reduced the size of my pores in just a week.

My skin feels great, and brighter! It’s light, blending in very quickly, and smells great! And even better-it’s so cost effective!! Yay!! About time!!!.

I am in complete awe. Albeit I’m almost 45yo, I still have a pretty oily T-zone & get super shiny. Since I am getting older & have some fine lines, I don’t always want to to heavily powder, but if I don’t, I’m a grease ball.

I’ve tried different serums, from super expensive to drugstore brands. Nothing has really worked well; until now. I took this picture at 10pm after spending many hot hours cooking on my food truck! I have the subtlest hint of a natural glow. I love it. This serum is amazing. It feels super smooth, but lightweight. I used this in conjunction with the oil-control lotion & primer. This is a POWER COMBINATION!!!.

I received this product complimentary as part of Dr. Brandt’s previous Ambassadors program (which seems to have changed) in exchange for my review. The very first thing I noticed was that this tube ends with a PUMP, as opposed to just an open tip.

I hadn’t expected that, but am pleased with it. Another thing I hadn’t expected was that the primer is the color of light-medium foundation; I haven’t been able to find anything on the tube or the package indicating it’s a tinted primer.

Only the phrase “or wear alone” could possibly be interpreted as an indication of the primer evening out slight color inconsistencies. But that’s a putting a lot of meaning into the words. Once applied on the skin I can’t tell whether there is any effect of the product color, or whether I see something that is really there, because I go back and forth on what I think.

The ingredients list doesn’t show “parfum” or “fragrance,” however both Lavender Oil and Tea Tree Oil are listed. As I understand, both of these have skincare properties, but I feel like these specific oils are what gives the primer its light scent.

And I mean light, especially considering how strong both of those scents can be! When I use my fingertips to spread the product the scent does get a little stronger – perhaps because of the warmth of my skin – but not much and it does settle back down quickly.

Silicones give the product that slightly powdery + smoothly spreading (without feeling slick) sensation. For this review I spread primer onto one side of my face and left the other side bare so I’d be able to see whether there is a difference.

Without even looking at the ingredients list I could tell upon first swipe that this is a silicone based primer. And boy, is that an understatement! Even with my limited knowledge I spot at least NINE silicones listed.

This isn’t an issue I typically concern myself with because I don’t take issue with silicones. I understand some people don’t like silicones in their face products, however, so I did want to make sure to point this out.

I do have a spot of uncharacteristic dry flakiness going on around the curves of my nostrils, and the primer is having a touch of trouble making that look nice, but it’s my fault for being too ambitious with a scrubby exfoliator.

Even in winter I don’t get dry patches on my face usually; my facial skin sits between normal (on a good day) and oily (esp in the T-zone). This product does state “oily/combination skin” right on the box.

If, when smoothing this primer on, you don’t feel like it’s blurring your pores enough, try a pressing/rolling motion with your fingers or sponge right on top of the problem area. I did that myself, to the right of my nose and succeeded in making that area look velvety and poreless.

I would recommend this product to people with oily-combo-normal skin; people who are cool with silicones in the products on their face; and people who want little to no makeup looks because this really can impart a velvety evened-out look to the skin.

Would be a 5 star, it’s really pretty darn good, except for the strange smell. I can’t define it at all but it’s not a good smell, I’ve just accepted it because the product does such a good job. I have really big pores, I mean giant, quite noticeable even if you’re not that close to me size pores.

It SUCKS. I’ve tried everything and I mean everything. I do have a favorite product that I use to help conceal my pores (think Clinique) but after reading all the great reviews thought what the heck, let me try this too.

It’s good stuff, it really is. Applying any pore hiding product also depends on how you apply it (which I wish I knew years ago) and tapping it on usually is a very effective method. With this Dr Brandt’s Pores No More I am also able to swirl it on problem areas and it fills in and covers really well.

My huge problem area is my entire T-zone; my nose, between my eyes, above my eyebrows and middle of my forehead then also my chin – obvious pores central. Starting with a clean, ever so slightly moisturized face (I’m oily) I dap or tap or even swirl in small swirls this stuff on.

It fills in/covers pretty good! Then I either just pat Light Illusion Perfecting Powder by Flower on my t-zone for everyday at work, or, if I’m feeling particularly insecure that day, dab on and blend Studio Fix Fluid by MAC over the t-zone followed by the Flower.

Highly recommend, wish they’d do something about the rather unpleasant smell, but I’d buy and use again.

I purchased this during the 21 Days of Beauty 50% off the must haves. I always research and read reviews. And wanted something new to try. I love make up and skin care in one, which I felt Dr Brandt is all about.

•My skin: I have sensitive, combination skin (oily in the T zone. Due to acne in my younger years (47 now), I need a primer that helps with texture. A few of my favorite primers are Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer, Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Pore Minimizing Primer, and Smashbox.

•About this product: Tested on the top of my hand the day I received it in the mail. First, the smell. heavy chemical smell. The texture was soft, airy and tinted. Spreads easily to a powder texture.

And I was excited to try it on my face the next day, despite the smell. I did my usual prep (moisturizer) before primer (primarily on the T zone and some areas of texture) and did my make up applications.

*Only had it on for about 8 hours before noticing bumps on areas where I applied Pores No More Pore Refiner Primer. It did not absorb oils, in fact. it made my T zone more oily. I had high hopes for this product.

It just was not for me. And will have to go back. •In conclusion: If you have sensitive skin or nose, try something else. Perhaps the other primers mentioned. I hope this review helps. Good luck!.

I’m in my mid/late 30’s and was looking for a product to help shrink the size of the pores on either side of my nose and on my cheeks. I hadn’t ever needed to worry about my pore size before, so I was very confused about getting the right product.

The price of this was initially a surprise, but I’ve had great luck with the other 5 products I’ve used from Dermadoctor, so I gave it a shot. I’m SO glad I did!! The difference was almost instantly noticeable, but it took about a week for other people to notice a visible difference in my skin/pores.

Even my guy commented on how much better my skin looked (I don’t wear makeup often). After my container was empty, my face looked younger, my skin had fewer blemishes, and the pores looked smaller. I’ve since made this a part of my daily skin care routine and I couldn’t be happier! I have yet to try a product from Dermadoctor that doesn’t work exactly as described!!.

I’m in my mid 50’s so I’ve had time to try many, many so called pore shrinking products – while my dermatologist reiterates nothing will shrink pores. Well let me tell you, this stuff works! I have enlarged (read huge) pores on my nose, and after using this twice a day for only1 week, the pores have NOTICEABLY SHRANK! I’m pleased as punch! Now it doesn’t smell great – the smell does dissipate – and it isn’t moisturizing, but put it on the area that needs work and after it dries apply moisturizer.

The pump on the bottle tends to put out more than needed so be careful cause a little goes a long way – and it is costly for the size of the bottle but worth every dime. This stuff is so incredibly effective that I will be purchasing 2 bottles at a time from now on!.

This stuff is awesome. I’ve always had big pores on my cheeks and never saw them shrinking no matter what I tried. I thought it was a lost cause. Until the employee at Ulta recommended this product to me.

I saw results after the first use! I could immediately tell the pores were smaller. Even the ones that didn’t shrink a lot, still looked clearer than ever. This stuff smells like apple cider vinegar, which I oddly love about it.

The only negative I could say is that if you have a pimple that was just popped, putting this on it will burn. Nothing I couldn’t handle. I’ve just learned to be wary if I’m having a patch of sensitive skin.

I have been using this for 4 years now and I love this moisturizer. I have always been afraid of moisturizers because I work outdoors, I sweat a lot, and I have a very oily t-zone anytime I wear anything (even sensitive or gentle products) I always end up breaking out.

This moisturizer really works for me. While I’m not sure it minimizes my pores, I do think it is mattifying so they appear less noticeable. It might not work for everyone with oily skin, but it’s perfect for me.

I use it with the Rare Earth Daily Cleanser and the toner. Please bring it back! I need to get some more and it’s been out the last several times I have checked.

This product actually helps with my oily acne prone skin. My acne stopped when I use this, combined with the face wash and the toner. Might not be for every one cause of alcohol and minerals. But it works great for me more than any Kiehls product and I’ve pretty much tried every product 🙂 KIEHLS PLEASE BRING BACK THIS PRODUCT! It’s been out of stock since November 2020.

I have been using the rare earth line and am pleased with the results. This mustriorizer is the perfect weight for daily use and as a man, I appreciate its lightweight and matte finish. However, I have now gone through about 6 bottles and the same thing happens every time.

About half way through the bottle, the pump stops working so you have to open the bottle, pull out the hose (that is covered in product), pour out what you need by hand, (although bc of the consistency, it usually comes out in globs with way too much), and then scrape back what you don’t need.

not a big deal the first time, and not a big deal if it was just the last of the bottle, but it’s nearly always 30-50% full once the nozzle/pump typically fails. They need to offer this product in a jar like the mens’s age defender cream and it would be great.

I am disappointed that after a year of the same issues Kiehl’s continues to sell it in subpar packaging.

I have been struggling with terrible large spots for over a year which first came about when wearing a face mask. I have tried several different products, even one prescribed by my doctor and nothing seemed to help.

I have only been using this product for 2 days and the results have totally amazed me , the difference is so noticeable. My large spots have dramatically reduced in size and the smaller ones have gone altogether and the redness has reduced significantly.

I’ve been using this serum for 1 month and my skin has improved dramatically. Even after 3 days I could notice a difference; my pores had reduced in size and my skin was smoother and clearer. Timewise pore minimizer saturates the skin with dew. It tightens my skin and leaves it smooth. Then I apply volufirm lifting and volufirm eye cream and last volufirm day or night cream. I make it my routine and honestly look fresh faced and younger.

I love this lightweight serum. It does not make my skin oily, doesnt make my skin look like I have caked on makeup. Its perfect for everyday use as a base under your makeup or just use this by itself.

I use this everyday, itd now part of my daily routine whether I use makeup or not. It gives me just a minimal amount of coverage, minimizing my pores and giving me a little oomph to my skin.

I love this serum ! It’s perfect for the “no makeup days” No coverage but it makes your skin look even and beautiful! Just a little goes a long way! Don’t be fooled by the light color, because it’s very transparent and anyone can use it.

Skin feels very smooth and soft.
