I bought 6 of them when they were on sale – one for the entire family and even a few friends. They were such a good deal it felt just like I sneaked out the door without paying for them. LOL! Thanks, Academy! You guys run a great store.

I am forever amazed at the unheard of deals I find whenever I go there. The tubes are sturdy and comfortable. I expect them to last a very long time if taken care of. The best think you can do do to ensure a long life from them is to keep them off the ground and away from sticks and briers at put-ins and take-outs.

The main tube has a Boston Valve, which is one of the best, fastest and easiest to operate. It will work with just about any inflator too, electric, battery or manual ones alike. I use a small, cordless Makita blower that gets the job done in a matter of seconds.

It also makes enough pressure that I don’t need to “top it off”. The backrest is a standard blow valve like on a pool float, but the air chamber is small, so a few breaths from your mouth and lungs is all it takes to get it full and up to pressure.

I’m willing to bet the folks who are complaining about the color rubbing off on them are slathering on too much sunscreen. Sunscreen has ALWAYS wrecked havoc on PVC and vinyl boats and tubes. I have four $600 self bailing PVC inflatable whitewater kayaks, and too much sunscreen will absolutely strip the color off them in a minute or two.

If you use sunscreen while tubing, just put it on ahead of time and let it dry before shoving off, and be careful to keep copious amounts of it off the tube or boat, that’s all. Anyway, I love my tubes and look forward to many float trips on them.

This thing is the Cadillac of tubes. However it goes up in price like 100% in the spring. Nevertheless it would be worth it if it held air. We got it and used my Ryobi inflator, which is designed to not over inflate tubes.

Filled it up dropped it in the local lazy river. Some ice and beer in the little ice chest in the center. There river is high, we had nothing happen, did it two more times, noticing only a little bit of structure loss over the second and third float.

However on the forth, it lost enough air to be an issue so we pulled out half way. We refilled it and dunked it in the river and saw no bubbles. Hoping it might have just bee the heat or something we floated again and it lost the same amount of air at the same point.

For the past 5 days I have been drenching this thing in soapy water, dunking it in a swimming pool, drowning the valves and seams looking for a leak and I can’t find it. Yet without fail it is losing air at a consistent rate.

I wouldn’t be so mad if I had had an accident, or if I could find the hole to patch or if it had lasted more than one run or had some sign of damage. But it literally looks brand new still and only lasted the one outing.

I have had crappy $15 llama tubes for 3 years and never had any of them leak or die. This was my big investment on a quality tube and tomorrow I am going to go back to my three year old Llama from Walgreens because at least it’s reliable and if it leaked it would make sense.

This was an Intex liner and among all the other Intex products this one’s no different there junk if it’s cheap u can believe your gonna get cheap quality , ppl u gotta wake up if ur paying next to nothing seems to good to b true same rule of thumb applies here ! Trust ur gut listen to a review from a 3rd gen pool installer/daily routes for maintenance, cleaning and chemicalization, and I own my business !!!! Junk !!! And I think this filter is the worst filer on the planet it’s worse than a sum pump that pumps a winter cover off !!! U see the color of the pool that’s why an Intex junk filter liner motor I was embarrassed installing this refuse to install ANYTHING Intex so ppl IN SUMMER 2023 DONT CALL POOL COMPANIES ASKING DO WE SERVICE ABOVE GROUND INTEX POOLS BC NO WE DO NOT ITS NOT WORTH WHAT U WANT TO PAY OR IM GOING TO CHARGE U.

I purchased the 2-person raft in 2017 for about $25. It never fully filled with air and always folded a bit in the middle. It did come with paddles. It would not fit 2 grown adults. I’m a petite person and could sit in it with a child but not with another adult.

It was not a reliable raft and you wouldn’t want to take it out too far or for too long on a bigger lake, etc. After that first summer of trying to use it, we didn’t use it anymore since it was not very usable for real “rafting” purposes.

My tween kids put it in the pool instead and had fun with it until it finally refused to hold air at all anymore. As a result, I thought it would be nice to replace it for pool fun (knowing it wasn’t good for more than that).

So I came on to Amazon to rebuy it. Imagine my disappointment (and disgust, really) to see that the price was double what I originally bought it for. This raft is NOT worth more than 20 bucks or so. I will not be re-purchasing it.

The kids can keep using inflatable tubes with the old paddles. Lol. EDIT: I saw this same raft at Big 5 Sporting goods store for 19. 99. That’s the price is should be at. If you want this raft or similar, look at your local stores instead of buying it here.

Inflation is horrible. I mean horrible. Use an electric inflation device and you’re good to go in about a minute. I’ve so far only taken this out twice over 1 weekend and I will only go in water with no current, but.

This is amazing for what it is!!!!!!Sitting is super super comfortable. no one mentions that! The oars are good. not great but good! I like to put them into one long oar more similar to a kayak oar than 2 little oars.

It stayed inflated for 3 solid days until I deflated it. About that. use a qtip for deflating. It’s a miracle. Be sure to cut off the cotton end. I didn’t and now inside my float has a little cotton qtip piece.

I also took an old hand towel along. Water from. paddling does get into the little boat, but an old little hand towel is the perfect way to get it out. 100 percent happy. Even if it only lasts a couple weekends, renting a kayaking can be expensive.

this has already paid for itself. I literally only ran into one person when using this and she came up excited to hear how the inflatable kayaks worked. So fun!!!.

My favorite thing about this pool floatie is that it is very fast to blow up! Since the entire middle is netting, there is less to inflate than with a traditional raft. And let me tell you, when your kid is impatiently waiting, speed matters! I love how versatile it is, you can sit on it in four different configurations.

My favorite is the traditional hammock where you just lay on it. This really beats a traditional raft because I really hot day on a traditional raft it is easy to get too hot since your entire body is out of the water, but with the hammock only your head and lower legs are out of the water and most of your body is comfortably relaxing in the cold water.

Chair is OK if you want to talk to someone, but then there is no back support. I had the clever idea to try to use it in the exercise saddle mode as a chair and sit in it sideways so my back would be supported, but I do not find this very comfortable for long periods as I find the net to be uncomfortable in between my legs.

And drifter is the last way to use it, which I also really love, you just basically float through the water hanging off of it kind of like a pool noodle. It is pretty cool that there are so many different ways to use it , whereas a traditional raft you really only have one option.

I like the handle as my kid likes to hang off of it. All in all it’s a great value and fast to set up, so it’s a win-win.

This nice quality, versatile pool float isn’t too difficult to inflate by mouth if you don’t have a pump. The float is very easy to get on and get off of while in the water. I like that you can use it in multiple ways.

The water hammock can convert into a drifter by simply rolling the lounge up. Additionally, it can also be used as an exercise saddle. The float is plenty wide and great for one or two people, with a total weight capacity of up to 450 lbs.

Moreover, the hammock with its two buoyant head and footrests, is supportive and comfortable to lie on for hours. I love to simply lounge on the hammock and soak up some sun. The float appears to be well-made and quite durable.

It is fairly compact, folds easily, very portable, and great for travel. I recommend the Aqua Catalina Wide Hammock, because it is superb for all-day pool fun, and makes my time in the water even more relaxing and enjoyable.

We all love this float, the kids typically fight over it at least once a day. It’s lightweight, Soft and not hot rough plastic on your skin. The soft almost fleece like fabric is so nice to lay on. We love that the design comes alive in the water, the kids think that’s so cool! The pockets give you a nice amount of water to stay cool in the sun.

The pillow and contouring you get while using it makes it super comfortable to float away in. We all have tried it out, From age 4 to 74, with many varying weights and it’s been a great float for all of us.

Even my super tall husband. Was easy to inflate and hasn’t lost any air yet, even after my kids roughhousing. Very durable and good weight plastic. Also dries very quickly in the sun.

I was nervous to try this because I’m not very good with math, chemicals, and felt intimidated by cleaning process. Everything was so easy to use, the instructions were clear, and it gave me confidence to get the job done.

Not to mention the product itself works great and my pool sparkling. Seemed to stay cleaner than longer also.

I bought it for my two dogs and they love it so much. It’s kept it’s shape and it hasn’t torn or gotten bad holes even though they are rough with it sometimes. Also the guy who put it in my car was super attractive.

I love this product and especially its versatility. With all the right accessories it can easily be your outside oven and stove top! Especially with kids and their friends, the eggs-pander and pizza stones to make 2 wood-fired pizzas at once is great! The wok is super cool and fun to use.

I’ve already smoked 2 brisket and 2 Pastrami on it using the diffuser and water/drip pans, and they came out great! All in the first 2 months. Looking forward to smoking ribs next and multiple briskets.

Be aware, that I spent just as much on all the accessories, as I did on the Big Green Egg itself. Though mind you, I’d rather spend the extra money for quality over quantity any day. Just seemed like a few things should automatically come with the egg.

And granted I do really like the versatility of the egg. My only upset is that I was sold the floor model without knowing I was sold the floor model. The Employee assured me they wouldn’t sell me the floor model, but wouldn’t you know, I go back to the store literally the Day after the egg was delivered to my house.

And sure enough the XL they had on display was gone. I thought, hmm, now I get why there were scratches on the bottom front of my egg, from being in the nesting table on display and people repeatedly opening and closing it.

I didn’t pay full price to receive the floor model that thousands of people have opened and closed and handled for months in that store. Seems pretty crummy to me. And a month later now there’s a Large on display! Beware purchaser of a Large size from Ellicott city Ace! Just a big disappointment with this ACE Hardware.

If I’m being sold the floor model I should’ve been told that and at the least been given a huge discount. But I didn’t want to buy a used Egg, I purchased a new Big Green Egg. Please don’t tell me you don’t sell the floor model, when sure enough you did and it’s now on my back deck.

Love the Egg, and really really disappointed with Ace. Ace used to be great and trustful, not anymore.

I’ve used the XL Egg for three years and it really enjoy how easy it is to cook, sear, smoke, bake. Previously, I’ve had very little experience cooking outside of the kitchen. The guys at Galore’s Studio City location showed me how to use the Egg and that was so helpful for a novice.

It took a few tries to get used to setting temperature but once it ‘clicked’ I haven’t had any issues with lighting or temp control. The XL size is great for a party of 12-15 people (usually 3 ribs, 2 tri tips, veggies (all at the same time)).

I also purchased the 5 Piece Eggspander Kit with two Half Moon Conveggtors. This easily lets me go from low and slow to searing with direct heat. There’s too much to say about what the Egg can do so enjoy that rabbit hole!.
