Best Page Count For Saddle Stitch Binding (2024 Updated)

I bought a roll for one of my college art classes and it was an amazing buy. The back side is paper-like, so glue doesn’t seep through (I tested this with PVA glue and it held up very nice, absolutely NO WRINKLES!).

It feels great and is very easy to cut with a blade or X-acto knife without fraying. A single roll lasted me over an entire semester and I actually ended up buying half a dozen more in different colors for my future projects.

I’d definitely recommend this!.

I use this product to create hard cover bindings on books. The color selection is amazing but the product is even better. This is the only brand I will use because it folds very seamlessly unlike other brands that leave creases.

I have also found that other brands backing will come off of the binding leaving bubble in you binding which looks unprofessional. This book cloth glues flawlessly even over years. (I’ve been in love with this material for a VERY long time.

This is a good product! From my limited experience of working with binding cloth, this is good quality. It seems to be average price for the amount of book cloth, as well.

The whole point of adding a satin binding to any blanket or quilt, is to have a soft, silky edge. This is not made properly, with a woven edge. It has been cut with a hot blade which leave a hard, melted, sharp edge.

Why make a product so cheaply that it can’t be used?.

I do not at all like the sharp, rough edges on the new packages of binding I purchased. The product used to satiny smooth and soft on the edges and my grandchildren liked it. Now they push it away from their skin.

Not OK!.

There are a couple craft stores where I live and I’m an hour away from a JoAnn Fabrics store so it’s really not convenient to go there to shop. Shopping by mail is a wonderful alternative. I ordered this and other colors of bias tape to add life to some of my towels by putting the tape on the fraying edges of them.

While I couldn’t match the colors perfectly they were good enough for my purpose and the color selection was much better than in the nearest craft store.

I love being able to buy pre-folded wide quilt binding. It makes binding a quilt so easy! I’ve made a lot of quilts in my time, but have not found this binding before. I definitely recommend it.

This a a handy little gadget. Seam binding is so expensive and i always seemed to have issues with finding the exact color i wanted. This takes all of that away!! Love this thing so much!

I was really hoping for a lot from this binding a maker. It did make doing the binding easier but not quite as quick and easy as the description made it out to be. It’s OK. Not sure I would recommend it to anyone else.

This is not only handy for making binding, but super handy to have by your sewing machine for quick, small presses. I also have a larger one with a cutting grid on the other side.

The stuff is definitely expensive. If the store would have had a satin fabric in a color that worked, I would have used it instead. Unfortunately, I’m in a small town so all we have to pick from is a mini Joanns and Walmart.

Make sure you bring your Joann coupon, Hobby Lobby coupon, and Michael’s coupon. I’d recommend it only if you need a particular color like I did.

I have some recipes that I would simply die without. These are the perfect protectors for these “Golden Specials. ” At one time I would have them in a binder in sleeves. These are better. They stand right up, so they are easy to see.

They are easy to clean. And durable enough that my daughter will most likely be using them (hopefully with the same recipes) 20 years from now. You can safety use both sides. I will be purchasing a few more as my Mother just passed on my Grandmother’s recipe books down to me.

I will be typing up her favorites and adding several of these into these pockets.

The quality , size and durability of this menu is great. Doing my huge Halloween Feast Table really required a professional looking menu and this was it. It has four windows to display your info and your pages go in very easily and they hold tight.

It stands up strongly by itself and looks like restaurant style (of course). Really like it and price was very affordable. Would also be great as a presentation folder.

Do you have a comprehensive wine list? If so this burgundy colored menu cover will be great and will immerse your customers in their wine experience. This pocket cover is very inexpensive and easy to use.

My accountant always uses these but Ive never really understood how he did it. When they popped up for me to test, I thought Ive got to give it a try. Dont they just make bundling documents so much neater and well presented.

They are the most simplest things to use although you do need to get a binding machine separately. Whats great about these ones though is if you forget to add some documents to the bundle before binding or just need to alter some pages without wanting to waste more paper by reprinting it all off again.

These binding strips actually come apart so you can open and charge or add as many pages as when you want. How great, this also means if you bind documents for yourself if you really wanted to you could actually reuse them.

Looking on StationeryPacks this manufacturer also have a few different colours of this item so you could colour match to suit your business or if you colour coordinate different sections of your business this option could still be crafted with anything that requires binding.

The plastic rod tabs are poked through small holes punched into each sheet. This can be a huge 200 sheet stack. I really like the fact that you dont need a special tool you can use anything nonmetallic like the back of a pen to bend over the rod tabs into a groove on the female part of the binding strip.

You just have to remember to start at the exit point of the rod and push this into a very well designed groove. Its great you just pick out the tip of the rod from that groove for each tab and insert new pages and reclose them.

This makes for really great ledger and archive reports as well as auditablequality documents. Fantastic ideal and really happy to recommend this product. Very professional looking results. Andrew.

I have not used these as yet but they will be great for my purpose. I manage a training centre and these will be great for the training and induction information that we use. The capacity of the binders is up to 200 pages which I probably wont use but great to know that I will be able to get all my training info into the folders.

You can easily remove and insert pages easily tooGood price too.

Wrights’s bias tape has been in my sewing chest for my whole life. It is dependable, comes in a large variety of colors and sizes, and is useful right out of the package.
