20 Best Oil For Under Eye Wrinkles And Dark Circles (2023 Updated)

I received a recommendation from an esthetician for this to help with my dark under eye circles. I have been using it routinely for about a month now and do feel it has made a difference. There aren’t any “creases” when I apply my makeup and I feel the puffiness has gone down.

If you have true discoloration under your eyes like I do I don’t feel it will help much. I am honestly someone that would benefit from under eye fillers. However, it keeps the puffiness down enough that with some industrial strength concealer I am able to hide them.

I also feel it will help with aging. I have noticed a lot of the fine lines have started to smooth over. A bit pricey but I feel it’s a solid eye serum.

Amazing product!! I have been using this eye cream for about 8 months now and I love it. It says you can use it for day and night, however, I only use it at night. It’s a thick product and when I wake up it has soaked into my skin.

I use it 5-6 days a week and I am still using my first tube so it has lasted me a decent amount of time, so worth the money!!!! I really hope Sephora keeps this product available for a very long time because it’s transformative for aging delicate skin under the eyes. Do note to keep it away from your lash line as this is an oil, and it can make things a wee bit blurry if you get it in your eyes.

That advice is on the label so do follow it. I highly recommend this eye oil and plan on buying some for my Mom as well! (I didn’t receive this as a promotion nor do I work for Sephora. ) I was previously using Elizabeth Arden’s eye serum for years and this surpasses it by far.

Going over the reviews, if the roller ball doesn’t work definitely return it! I know it’s a hassle but the product is worth using. I’m on my second bottle and I love it. I have extremely dry skin everywhere because of the accutane I was on 9 years ago for acne and my skin never recovered.

The oil is cool and soothing and helps with hydration. I haven’t noticed any brightening or color change under my eye, but my skin feels soft and smooth after application. Absorbs quickly. I use it under a heavier eye cream to lock in the moisture at night and during the day I use it as a wake up for the under eye.

Definitely worth trying if you want straight hydration.

I love this eye oil. Very nourishing and replenishing. I did not have any issue with the quartz application roller. I put mine in my skincare fridge for even more of a cooling sensation. I would recommend storing this in a fridge if possible.

Other reviewers mentioned product spoiling, refrigerating natural oils greatly increases their shelf life, helps maintain potency, and protects from spoiling/ going rancid. It is normal for natural oils to turn after prolonged storage at room temperature.

I have used this alone and on top of my eye gel at night for added moisture. It helps with my crepe-y under eyes (after retinol thinned out my under eye skin) love it!.

I received OLAYS Regenerist Niacinamide+PEPTIDE 24 Face Moisturizer to try out in exchange for an honest review. This was easy since I have been using Olay brand for many years and have found that mist of their products work just the same or even better than the pricier ones at a fact of the cost.

As with any skincare it takes awhile to see any major differences but I have noticed my fine lines look less noticeable as to my discoloration haven’t seen a mark difference but again that takes awhile.

My skin is feeling pretty soft. As with other products Olay makes I love the texture. On the thicker side but smooths out beautifully and this particular product as soon as u put it on it absorbs with absolutely no reside or sickness.

The only con would be ir does have slight fragrance which for me us no big thing but if u have a sensitivity to smells might bother some. The other thing I wanted to mention which I found out it is free of parabens, phthalates, or synthetic dyes.

I will continue to use and would recommend to people who are looking for a product that works but absorbs instantly and won’t interfere with ant makeup you put on top.

I was excited for the chance to test OLAY Regenerist Niacinamide + Peptide 24 Hydrating Moisturizer from PINCHme. I’ve used other OLAY products and have really liked them. Upon opening the jar, I immediately notice this cream is fragrance-free; a big plus as I don’t like to have a scent from my moisturizers compete and conflict with any perfume I may be using.

I also notice this cream makes my skin incredibly soft and smooth – so much so that I’m able to skip my usual primer and my makeup goes on smoothly and looks great! I wasn’t too familiar with the 2 major ingredients so I did a bit of research to learn what benefits they might confer to my skin.

Niacinamide improves skin hydration, preventing moisture loss from your skin. It has anti-inflammatory properties that can calm irritated, sensitive skin. Peptides are amino acids, the building blocks of proteins like collagen and elastin which are beneficial to our skin.

I have the very beginnings of fine lines around my eyes, which are mostly only noticed when I smile (and I smile A LOT). I used this religiously morning and night for 71 days before I ran out of product.

I took the bottle apart and it’s a teeny tiny compartment inside, so that might be testament to how sparingly to apply. Besides keeping the delicate skin around my eyes moisturized, I didn’t see much benefit to using this product.

If you’re already oily around the eyes, skip this one. If you’re normal or dry and don’t have anti-aging concerns, give it a shot. I never had any irritation or flaking, and my primer (Milk Hydrogrip Primer) went on and held my foundation without slipping/melting.

I won’t repurchase, but I didn’t not like it either, y’know?.

I tried this product out a while back, i had been using this twice for a few months This product is a good moisturizer, but doesn’t really follow through on any of its other promises. the eye cream doesn’t brighten your under eye area.

no notable difference in firmness or wrinkles either. I did notice some pilling, but i think that’s because initially i was applying too much of the product in too small of an area. i love that it comes in a sealed bottle with a twist open top, which makes it more hygienic and less prone to being contaminated by bacteria.

In a nutshell this eye cream is moisturizing, absorbs well, and feels nice during application But it definitely doesn’t do everything it promises. and like most DE products, it leaves much to be desired.

Really pleased to see that boots are offering drunk elephant products, I personally never use them before but have seen a lot of reviews by beauty bloggers. The brand offer products which contain skin ingredients that actually work.

For this particular eye cream there are five different types of vitamin C and a brightening combination of eight peptides. Vitamin C is an ingredient which is brightening on the skin but it only works if packaging in which is contained does not let the light in, otherwise the vitamin C will become on unstable and ineffective.

Packaging of drunk elephant products is really good because it is both air and light tight. The product is quite thick but sinks in really well and hydrates as well as brightens. I’ve been using this for a few weeks and I have seen a significant improvement in my under eye area with fine lines being smoothed and brightened.

It’s on the pricey side but the ingredients and packaging to maintain those ingredients are really good quality, so if you can afford it I would highly recommend that you give it a try.

As far aesthetics; this is an oil. In my opinion facial oils are facial oils and all feel quite similar on the skin. Sure, some might be thinner and seem more lightweight, but in general oils have a similar aesthetic and feel on the skin.

I used to be quite generous with oils for their supposed antioxidant properties until I learned that seed oils are considered to be quite concentrated- so you truly do not need a lot of product on the face to reap the benefits.

Seriously, you only need 2 maybe 3 drops max for the entire face. Plus, this will have a better aesthetic and feel on the skin. I must admit I am not the biggest fan of Sunday Riley’s products in general.

I find them to be full of fragrance and very expensive. This product is the definite exception since it is one of, if not the only S. R. product in their lineup. I also REALLY like the oils chosen in this formulation; this is chock FULL of berry seed oils which are naturally high in linoleic acid (the barrier repairing fatty acid), polyphenols, vitamin E, and beta carotene.

I bought this product probably 7 months ago and still have more than half a bottle left, I would use usually about 4 drops every night after my moisturiser, so a little goes a long way. I’ve had horrible acne for years where even prescription creams didn’t help much.

I took a chance with this because of such interesting ingredients, and it’s literally changed my skin so much for the better. I still get break outs sometimes, but they will only last a day or so before disappearing instead of scarring.

I feel like it’s helped with the inflammation as well as my skin is overall much less red than it used to be. I have tried soo many skin care products which would only make things worse, and feel like this is just definitely worth the money.

The best part about it is the amazing results while hydrating the skin too instead of drying it out and causing more issues like some other products for acne.

I bought the sample size of this a 3 months ago and I absolutely love it. I have just finished it and have now purchased the full size. Out of all of Sunday Riley’s oils I expected for Juno to be the least effective.

However I found it to be the best. It’s incredibly moisturising and soothing and I only need 3 drops for my entire face. I have relatively strong skin however I did have a reaction to another product and it had spread all over my lips and chin.

I cleansed my face and put on Juno and it calmed down immediately. When I apply this the night before, I wake up with the most untextured skin and I’m absolutely glowing. I absolutely love it and would highly recommend.

I’ve been using this for about a week, and so far I love it. It has a very faint, light citrus fragrance that I don’t mind at all. I have always used moisturizer since my teens, and I am no 51, and I feel like a combination of genetics and consistent and dedicated moisturizer use–despite my foolish time in the sun as a fair strawberry blonde as a teen and beyond!–has really kept my skin and my eyes smooth and mostly wrinkle free.

Oh where to start. Yes this is expensive oh gosh is it worth it! First of it comes in this beautiful little dispenser that actually contains a lot of product especially for the price. You only need a tiny little amount for your eyes so this will go a long way.

Next you will notice the incredible smell of this lotion. I could smell this for hours and if I could find a perfume that smelt like this, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Once you apply this to your eyes it at first feels a bit tacky but quickly fully absorbs into your skin.

Then you feel just plain softness and this softness last and lasts. And there is no wonder for that because this product is packed with all kinds of goodness. It contains hyaluronic acid, vitamin A, C and E as well as gold, everything that is just good for your yes.

I’m in my early fifties. I added eye creams to my skincare routine a few years ago. This one is a very nice one. My eyes are very sensitive and often sting if a skin product gets even close to my eyes.

That makes it difficult to find something that I can actually apply around my eyes! This one doesn’t sting, burn, irritate or annoy my eyes at all. One pump is enough to cover the area below my eyes and all the way above to the brow line and eyelid.

I don’t really notice any magical results, but to be honest, since I’ve been using eye creams for a few years now, I think it’s just continuing what has already been started. Oh, and I didn’t mention the bottle.

It is a very pretty gold glass bottle. It’s one of the fanciest looking eye creams that I have ever seen!.

I purchased and used the whole bottle before this review. This is moisturizing and doesn’t peel when used with make up. I loved this for daytime use! I was actually looking for something a bit more powerful for nighttime though.

I’m in my mid 30’s so I am fighting signs of matured skin already. (To any young ppl reading this- GET OUT OF THE SUN! It is not your friend). It wasn’t as great for puffiness and I saw no long term results with brightening or reduction of wrinkles.

Beekman 1802 Dewy Eyed Illuminating Eye Serum – 15ml – I personally haven’t noticed any improvement with my under eye area after using this for about 5 weeks. I’ve used morning and evening as suggested.

This serum has a sticky consistency and does absorb nicely into my skin however the smell is not pleasant. It’s gross if I’m honest! I can’t put my finger on what the scent is, I just know that I don’t like it.

I have been using this eye serum for a bit over a month now. I apply it immediately after washing my face and right before applying my niacinamide serum. The only reason I started using an eye product in the morning is only because I’m a bit nervous about accidentally getting niacinamide too close to my eye area and it has worked well for me so far.

The texture of the Beekman eye serum is very thin, almost like water. The product is completely clear and doesn’t have any flakes of shimmer, which I am very happy about. It sinks in quickly and doesn’t feel heavy at all.

The packaging is nice and simple, very clean. I will say that a full pump would be enough to cover my entire face so I try to pump out the absolute bare minimum. Once I’m done with this product I most likely won’t repurchase it for a couple of reasons.

One, I think the price of the product is a bit too high for what it is. Two, I prefer a richer consistency for my skincare. I have combo/dry skin and enjoy very hydrating products. Plus, I was a bit disappointed that product containing goat milk is completely clear, not a milky white.

Overall, the product is good, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. It’s just not a favorite of mine.

I absolutely love this eye cream! I am in my earlier 20s and have always suffered with dark under eye circles. I spent a long time researching products and everything remotely recommended cost upwards of $60 for a tiny tube of cream.

I wouldn’t justify spending that much so I looked for affordable alternatives. This came highly recommended by reviews so I thought I would give it a try. I noticed a difference almost immediately. I was surprised to find out that such a small tube could last so long! I use it twice daily in my skincare routine and I only have to replace it every four months.

I have very dry skin and this goes on smooth and creamy, I like that it’s not thick and Vaseline like. I was surprised to find that there was no smell to the product, I have a sensitive nose but I haven’t picked up on any smell.

I feel my skin is very moisturized using this. I know the main use of this product is for wrinkles but I am unable to say if does it’s job in reducing lines, I do not have any to start with but it does work for dark circles and puffiness! If this came in a better designed tube, this product would be my holy grail eye cream. The product works beautifully, my under eyes feel more hydrated and I do feel like the appearance of fine lines under my eyes has noticeably diminished.

However, the tube is dumb. The lid screws on pretty tightly and is super slippery, especially when you have the other skincare products you just used on your hands. I have to use my shirt to grip it and unscrew it.

Also, the tube itself is made out of some sort of malleable plastic or metal. As the tube empties, it naturally starts to curl where the tube is empty. Where it curls, the edges crack and it leaks any residual product out from those cracks.

It’s messy and not a sanitary form of storage for a skincare product that goes on your eyes due to the open holes where the cracks are. The tube is enough of a deal breaker for me that I’m looking around for another product that works as well but has better packaging.

I really like it so far. I have used it twice (last night and this morning) and started to see results after the first application. I tend to get puffy under eye bags and this creme has really reduced them.

They are almost gone already after 2 applications. A little goes a long way so this will last awhile. I used a few dabs on the smile lines (from the edge of my nose to corner of my mouth) and have noticed a reduction in the lines.

The product absorbs nicely without a greasy look/ feel. It is FRAGRANCE FREE, which I love and I have had no sensitivity to the product. I am in my mid to early 30’s and am just starting to see the odd fine line and deeper groves in my smile lines.

So I can not say how this product would work with someone in their 60’s, for instance, but I would imagine it would work nonetheless. Overall, I really like this product. It packs a powerful punch and seems to work really well on the eyes (puffy, dark circles, wrinkles) as well as wrinkles in other areas of the face.

If you are looking for one product that does a lot and does it well, then I recommend this. I will definitely be buying again.

A couple of key facts: – I have dry skin that can be eczema prone – I am well versed in using retinol and have used it around my eyes before – even though I have built up tolerance I still chose to phase this product in so that it wouldn’t irritate my skin – I bought this after hearing people discuss how it improved their under eye bags on tiktok (I know silly mistake) – I normally use the Shani Darden eye cream, which I stopped using while I was trying this product This product is ATROCIOUS! Even after taking all the necessary precautions and using it very sparingly, it flared up my eczema to point where I could not open my eyes properly for 2 days.

The burning sensation was honestly torture and worrying because I had only use the product 3 times over 10 days. Even though I only used it on my under eye, it cause a reaction on my eyelids and upper cheek area too.

There is no value for money with the amount of product you get for the size and packaging is not a hit for me at all. The applicator makes no sense and adds nothing to product, which is sad because I feel that’s what you’re paying for and not the actual formula.

It significantly worsened my under eye bags, making them darker and fine lines more profound. I have stopped using the product and tried to go back to the other eye cream and it burns to put it on. It even burns to just put on a simple Cera Ve moisturiser.

This is best for experienced retinol users, I really enjoy it for closer to my under eyes when I’m doing. 025% tret on the rest of my face. I would caution people to only try a couple times a week, this isn’t a nightly product.

I can understand how people would struggle with this. I’d recommend starting with something more gentle if you haven’t used a strong retinoid before! This will take time for your skin to acclimate to.

I have not experienced any sensitivity or dryness but I have been using tretinoin every other day for over a year, so my skin is used to it. The texture of this is beautiful, it looks and feels very similar to a custard like in a fruit tart.

The emollient quality feels exceptionally nice applying to the skin, and the applicator feels nice and cool. There’s a bit of thickness to it, like a hybrid between a gel and a cream, but it’s not overly occlusive in a way that would cause milia, in my experience.

It feels slightly hydrating, very moisturizing and absorbs beautifully. It has helped quickly resolve small breakouts I’ve been dealing with near my eyes. This would be best for someone trying to target fine lines, wrinkles, and breakouts in the under eye area.

It is a bit pricey, but I thought it was a well formulated product.

The product itself seems pretty good. There’s definitely an adjustment period. Lots of flaking and dryness (as to be expected with a higher concentration of retinol). Gentle enough for the delicate eye area though; I have sensitive skin and aside from the dryness and flakes I experienced no redness or irritation.

I can’t say I see a huge difference, just a slight minimization of fine lines. I am 39 and do not use any botox or fillers and feel like this would be good for maintenance of fine lines without the need for any needles.

I am religious about my sunscreen… so everyone is different. I was terribly upset when my squeeze bottle top kept coming off and oozing out all over. I don’t even keep it in my make up and thankfully so, otherwise it would be a an even bigger mess.

I live at altitude and for whatever reason this package bursts out on its own just sitting in my bathroom drawer. It is disappointing because it’s rather expensive and I’ve lost a lot of the product to this problem.

Got this oil at Macy’s Beauty box. It was interesting to try a new product, but I was very disappointed. The oil is very dry to the skin around the eyes. And I applied oil solo, with different serums and creams.

I love this oil for nighttime, my eye area soaks it up overnight and it’s moisturized for the next day! One thing I do not like is the applicator on this. The button top dropper is hard to use when you’ve reached the end of your routine and ready to put eye products on, my hands are always a bit slick.

While it’s not hard to wash my hands and then apply this, it is a bit of an inconvenience. A classic eye dropper would’ve been a much better choice!.

I don’t write many reviews- And this review is not based on results as of yet- I have such trouble with eye creams I always feel they are heavy, and they migrate which then irritates my eyes even when I estimate for the migration of product! Some how it always migrates into my eyes.

This product is serum consistency, 1 drop for each eye is PLENTY so this bottle will last forever but the application glides on, with no tugging which I experience with some heavier eye creams. This product does not migrate, sting or irritate my eyes.

It is cooling on application and I think it would provide further puff reduction if refrigerated. It’s not sticky unless you use to much. I’ve been using it a few days and I apply heavier at night then I do in the am.

I do see a reduction in puffiness after application but as far as reduction in discoloration or wrinkles it is to soon. It just feels so hydrating that even if I see minimal results I will use it as a base for another eye cream if needed.

As far as pilling I don’t wear makeup on the daily so I don’t know how it reacts under makeup but I find letting your skincare settle into pores for 20 min before makeup application generally prevents that.

I have fair sensitive maturing skin so this was also super gentle on my 42yo skin.

I have Graves’ disease and thyroid eye disease, which shows itself as big, puffy, blue-ish under-eye bags. I’m extremely self-conscious about it and have been avoiding meeting people or being in photographs since it started.

I’m mentioning this just so you can get an idea of how abnormally bad my eye bag situation is. I understand that no topical formula will ever take away these bags for good; whether you have a disease or not, any product that promises it can “fix” your under-eye bags is lying to you.

Currently, the only permanent solution to chronic under-eye bags is surgery. However, this stuff REALLY works to temporarily reduce the appearance of the puffiness, which means so, so much for me. Despite my conditions, my eyes actually look NORMAL until the late evening when I apply this in the morning.

It really, really does reduce under-eye puffiness. On days when I don’t use it, the puffiness is so prominent that sometimes people ask if I’ve been crying or if I was awake all night. But on days when I do use it, you couldn’t tell at a glance that anything is weird about my eyes.

i dont understand all the bad reviews — this stuff is amazing. i have very sensitive skin, particularly around my eyes so i have to be super careful with eye creams, but this one is the ONLY product that a) keeps my undereyes and eyelids moisturized, b) actually brightens up my eyes (i have really bad dark circles, ill post a before and after when i use it next tomorrow) and c) doesn’t irritate my eyes in any way (even if i accidentally get some in my eyes, it doesnt really sting or burn at all).

it also works great as an eyeshadow primer!! To be completely fair, i’m white, so maybe if there is a white film that stays when it dries, then my skin color may be a factor in that. so if that’s the case, either don’t use it if you have darker skin or be sure to massage it into your skin until it dries — do the latter regardless of skin color because it does take a little while to dry and who doesnt love a good eye massage? bottom line, this is the best eye serum/moisturizer ive ever used and trust me ive tried them all from all price points.

i see better results from this than i do from my $600 truffoire serum, even after one use. a must-buy if you ask me.

I first tried this eye cream with another new eye cream, so I wasn’t sure which one had made the noticeable difference in my eyes. I have slightly hooded eyes & what ever it was seemed to tighten up the hooded skin, and make my whole eye area seem brighter.

Well, when I ran out (tragically, I spilled a lot of the jar. ) I decided to go with the other eye cream for a bit on it’s own to see which one was doing the trick. It wasn’t the other one. After not using using cream, I noticed that I started to look more tired again, my eyes were more hooded & I was having some challenges with my eye make up again.

I ordered this cream again, applied it the night I got it & in the morning again, I had those brighter, tighter eyes again! The coffee smell is a little strong. I do like coffee, but not so much in my facial products; however I’m able to overlook that due to how this performed! I do wish this came in some sort of pump bottle.

As I mentioned above, I spilled a large portion of the jar. The cream is more liquidy & with such a wide opening, spills are bound to happen!.

I switched to UpCircle when my daughter in the UK raved about the eye cream and other products. I like the company mission of plastic-free packaging and the natural products. I use almost all the products, and I will be switching to the others, as soon as I use up what I have.

My skin feels great with the products, and they are the same price or cheaper than others I had been using. I also like the innovative use of natural ingredients that go into each product, instead of chemicals.

Thank you for your works and products! I hope the US gets to the point where we can reuse the containers as is being done in the UK.

And as the other reviewer posted, Jill Bauer was the best in describing everything she had on air and if she believed in a product so did I. Her detail on beauty products and at what age products worked for best as well as detail of ingredients in product was always spot on.

With clothing, she always gave the best of her ability to explain sizing and what each model as well as herself were wearing, if it tended to run lose or tight, etc. QVC has removed hosts that gave us a great experience and cost us much less in returns, but then returns seem to be the whole idea in the new forum used now on air.

It is now the Host Show talking about themselfs (some way more than others), not the products. There is nothing we do not know about a few on air host lives at this point, including their children’s private lifestyles.

Way TMI Sorry for my non review, but this product did used to be a go to for me and is in my cart now. Just wish the brass at the Q would begin to read the reviews here as they have changed drastically over the past 2 years.

The Customer Service is, as always, great to work with, the problem is with the on air host new non description of products being sold, of giving almost no description at all of what they are selling.

but we get to know what they are ordering while being on TV, as well as what their producers are also ordering before we get to see items. Returns need to be extended to 60 days or like Amazon, free if ordering more than 1 item at a time being they are often now shipped in one box, making for more errors in missing items.

Things sent to Rocky Mount during the time of burning have been lost and no way to prove a return during back through the covid shipping times. And why I posted here is because only 2 or 3 great CS reps are the only ladies to read the Q&A area, so no complaints are ever read by vendors.

And please bring back the great talents, even the one fired while with cancer but survived and still has more on air quality than a few I shall not name. Just know we do keep up with those greats that were let go so suddenly that did selling the right way.

They did not play the mean game as a few did I assume just for power.

I love this eye cream! I have super sensitive eyes and have some light wrinkles under my eyes and this feels very hydrating and doesn’t irritate at all. The scent is very pleasant. The consistency is beautiful and not too thick or thin but feels expensive.

I can’t say if it’s brightening my under eye circles because they’re worse when I don’t have much sleep but it feels nice. I used to use the Chanel le lift eye cream for £70, but couldn’t justify spending that much on something that lasts 3-6 months.

I prefer this much more and it’s less than half the price! You don’t need much of this and it goes a long way. My eyes feel so much better since using this. Highly recommend it. And if you’re not sure about spending the money on the full size, purchase a travel size or grab it in a set.

You won’t be disappointed!.

This eye cream was gifted to me and I’m very grateful to have tried it. I know a lot of people don’t really care for eye creams but I personally like using one if I have it, and this one in particular is a great product.

One thing I will say is it had separated in the jar a little bit so it is not at the best consistency, but with maracuja oil as an ingredient (rich in vitamin C and essential fatty acids) I find it makes a noticeable difference in brightening the bags under my eyes after I use it.

I will probably not purchase this product again once it runs out due to a $39 price, but I would recommend it to those that have the money to splurge on eye cream!.

This Retinol serum from The Inkey List has been reviewed a lot but I wanted to touch on a couple of things that I’ve learned that may not be noticed if you don’t know what to look for in the ingredients (which is completely normal as I’m talking about bio-chem level stuff).

was the first (and only) product I tried from the company, under the pitch they were cruelty free and sold only vegan skin care. Some easy research proved the later not true but with regard to this serum I was happy the Squalane used is plant derived and not from the livers of our shark “friends”.

The packaging is minimal which is fine by me because at a lower price point I’d rather know the money is invested in what is going on my skin than what I’m seeing on my shelf. This formula has barely any fragrance, it is not very viscous and feels rather lightweight; I’ve read where some people treat it like a moisturizer and use a compatible serum with it for better results.

I took some points away because of the ingredient labels. Without boring you with a dissertation on retinoids it is important to know that retinoids are different types of vitamin A compounds that are labeled in 4 tiers based on varying potency.

The strongest would include retinol and retinoic acid and these need a prescription while examples of lower tier retinoids are bexarotine, adapalene and tazarotene (all tier 3). [At one time all retinol creams were sold only by prescription] Essentially all retinoids aim to work like the top tier retinol but they have to process through phases to metabolize (change) which means less side effects and smoother transitions for a similar desired outcome that just takes weeks instead of days.

What the ingredients list on this serum is “. 1% stable retinol and 0. 5% granactive retinoid. ” where they list the stable retinol as Retistar. The short part is Retistar is only 0. 05% Retinol after final concentration so this is a mistake for a skincare company not to catch.

This makes this a good serum for anti-aging whether starting in your 20’s, 30’s or 40’s. It wouldn’t be ideal for someone combating acne and oily skin issues because the strength just isn’t there. I noticed some overall brighter skin appearance after around 2.

5 weeks of daily use (I tried every other day twice before using daily as a precaution). It is worth trying at the price point but I hope they address the ingredients or reformulate and mentin to the targeted consumer.

To start off, I want to disclose I am giving it a 5 star rating simply because it is the first retinol serum/product that hasn’t burned my skin. I have not been using it long enough to vouch for its effectiveness, but if I can figure out how to update this review when that time comes, I will.

I’ve only been using it for about a month now and am THRILLED that it hasn’t ruined my skin! I’m 28. I’m hoping to reduce/eliminate some of my fine lines around my mouth and on my forehead with this serum but also like the idea of it also being a preventative so I apply it all over my face instead of only in those problem spots.

I have dry sensitive skin with mild rosacea on my cheeks so I have to be very choosy about the actives I use on my face. This retinol is unbelievably gentle compared to ones I’ve tried in the past (granted I was a total newbie to retinol at the time so I’m pretty sure I was using too high of a percentage before).

I did feel a bit of tingling or “stinging” sensation the first 2-3 weeks of using it every 2 days, but my skin has since then adjusted and I don’t feel it anymore. When I first started using this serum I did have to mix it with moisturizer (I used Inkey Lists vitamin a/c moisturizer) plus I was scared of my skin reacting horribly so I was being extra careful.

Not totally necessary if you have a decent tolerance with retinol but I found it was a nice way to ease into it for my skin type in particular. Not really noticing any results so far but I’m glad my skin has adjusted so well.

I’m going to continue using it and hopefully see some reduction in fine lines! I now am able to use it every other night instead of waiting 2 nights in between.

I’ve been using the Retinol Serum for awhile now, (this is my 3rd tube), and it does take a while to see results. Having said that, I do note that this is a more mild dosing of Retinol and there are others out there that are stronger, but your skin may take a “hit” in that it might become reddened or peel or sting/burn when the product is applied; which is why I prefer this type of retinol serum.

It works on one’s skin without the discomfort associated with many retinoids out there. I also appreciate the price point of the Inkey List’s products, as you can literally build an entire skin care routine from the ground up, and include two to three serums and/or treatment items as well.

You can’t say that with many brands out there with the same types of products and get the same type of results. I am often asked “What do you use on your skin?” I usually answer “Oh I use a few things from different lines.

” because I do, but it’s the products that perform that you tend to not reveal that much, as you want to keep those to yourself! This is one of those products, as it does work and you can recommend it to others knowing that it actually does something for your skin.

At least for me, I can say “Yes” I benefit from this particular serum. If you’re new to retinoids this would be a good one to start off with, as it is gentle, and you wouldn’t have to worry about adverse affects on your skin.

But patch testing is always a good idea. Give it a try, It works for me!.

I have no idea what happened as I am not allergic to any of the ingredients. But this kept happening again and again, but only on my eyes. I spot tested, not an issue. I place it on my eyes and wake up to my eyes so puffed out and swollen that I could barely see.

I do have sensitive skin, but since I spot tested I didn’t think it was this and couldn’t figure it out for a few days thinking I was having a massive consistent allergic reaction for a different reason.

Then on the day I decided to not place anything on my face to narrow the issue down, nothing. Spot tested everything again, next day same reaction. I finally narrowed it to it being a product and since I was only using this new product I spot tested again no issue.

Went a week without this product, but used all the other items, no issue. Used it again and next morning same issue. I ended up using the product on the rest of my body as a moisturizer, no issue, but only a reaction to my eyes.

It was the weirdest experience being only allergic to one product on only one place on your skin, and the irony is that the only place the cream is intended for is your eyes. Brought to my doctor and the only thing she could conclude was not the ingredients in the cream, though I am not allergic to, but the intensity or high concentration of the ingredients might just be to intense for my eyes as eyelids are more sensitive then other skin areas.

Good news, I was allergic to anything new, weird thing I just can’t use this. But the same ingredients in other product, totally fine. So this product might be to intense for sensitive skin, but the coffee eye cream is great and I have been using that for many years, no issues.

I’m over 40 and am starting to see the effects of the sun during my younger years. I’m developing fine lines and my face is drier than is used to be. It’s important to me that I use a good moisturizer.

It’s also an important part to my regimen in the mornings too, because if I don’t have my skin moisturized, my makeup looks cakey. I’ve never used the GLO24K brand before or anything with “24k gold” in it.

Honestly, I found this component intriguing. I’m not sure that it’s actual gold (like the jewelry) but anything with gold sounds good, right? That along with the description including anti-aging, vitamins, hyaluronic acid and collagen sold me.

Those are exactly the ingredients I’m looking for. So I ordered it. I’m glad I did. The cream goes on smoothly and absorbs nicely into my skin. It’s easy to apply. I have no adverse effects like redness, itching or breakouts.

It’s important to know that this cream does not include SPF so if you plan to be in the sun, choose one with SPF for that day. The description claims that 24k gold, hyaluronic acid and collagen are all known for their hydrating, nourishing, collagen boosting, and age-defying properties.

All things I need. I also have a very slight amount of rosacea that’s not too obvious, but I feel like this cream calms it, as opposed to some that seem to irritate it. Overall, I’m very pleased with this and find it to be hydrating it well.

It’ll take some time to see if the long term benefits are as promised, but I’ll edit my review later if I have any updates. I recommend this product.

These products are always packed so well. The boxes they come in are sturdy and have a nice shine. The shine on the box, however, accompanied with the smaller font make it hard to read the box. The moisturizer container is sturdy and elegant looking.

This moisturizer, itself, looks a lot like others I have used, but has a light, cool feeling when applied to the face with is refreshing. It doesn’t take much of this moisturizer to cover the entire face and neck area.

Once it is applied, the mask dries on and gives your face a golden shimmer. The directions say to let sit for 5-10 minutes and then rinse off. This is different from other moisturizers I have used in that it gets rinsed off.

It is also directed to only be used once a week, which should make this last over time. When I rinsed my face, my face did look brighter and nicer than it had before applying the moisturizer. I really enjoy how easy this product is to use and how immediate the effects are.

My wife and I both tried this GLO24K 24k Day Cream out. We are happy to report this product is SUPER moisturizing eliminating fine line wrinkles especially around the eyes. The cream creates a nice glow to the skin.

The cream glides on easily and absorbs into the skin, not merely lying on the skin. There is no irritation what so ever. The scent is very light , almost unnoticeable. The cream is vegan friendly so that is a plus.

No animals were harmed testing it. This comes professionally packaged with a nice applicator scoop wand. This is definitely pricey but worth it considering the considerable benefits. Also, a little goes a long way so in that sense, it’s economical.

I have been using this product for 4 or 5 years now, and I notice a difference in my eye area if I don’t use it. I keep mine in the fridge and roll it all over my under eye and eyelids before applying the rest of my skin routine (serum, moisturizer, sunscreen).

I love how soothing the cool roller feels on my tired eyes, even on a cold day! My eyes feel moisturized, but not heavy, all day when I use this. I also find that if I give it some time to dry before applying eyeshadow primer, it doesn’t reduce the longevity of my makeup.

I don’t know if this product specifically helps with fine lines and wrinkles in my skin (I use other products at night that are more specific to that concern) but I can tell you that the skin around my eyes feels soft, smooth, and soothed all day with this! I love this product so much that my Mom buys me this each year for Christmas, and that bottle lasts for most of the year before I have to pull out a deluxe sample or buy another to hold me over until Christmas again.

I wanted something soothing and light for my daytime eye treatment and this product seemed to fit the bill. Unfortunately I’ve noticed no improvement from this but I haven’t had any issues with it either.

It’s soothing but doesn’t do anything for fine lines. My night cream has made it to where I actually don’t have puffiness in the am anymore. Now that’s a magical product! If you suffer from puffy eyes try Natura Bisse retinol inhibit eye serum.

Absolute best eye serum I’ve used.

I have very sensitive skin and typically look for products that have gel in them since they work so well with my skin needs. I have purchased this item many times and very pleased with it. It instantly gives soothing benefits to the delicate eye area.

I would highly recommend trying and it lasts quite awhile. I use it night & the morning, to me it is Excellent! Very easy to use and you get just enough to cover the area you want without it leaking or dripping, it really is a wonderful product.

I used this serum daily until I panned it. To be clear, I do not have sensitive skin. This product didn’t feel light to apply and I got a patch of dry skin above my Cupid’s bow because of this product.

At first I thought it was the weather then when the patch didn’t go away, I blamed my lipstick (which I threw away). The issue is wouldn’t clear then a few days after I panned the product, it began to clear up and hasn’t come back.

You also don’t get all of the product because 1/4 of the product are those useless bead things to make it look more official. I didn’t notice an improvement of texture or tone. I don’t recommend this to anyone.

I bought this product based on the product recommendations from doing the skin analysis in the Ulta app. I wanted to try something that wasn’t tested on animals so when my tries and true staple of Peter Thomas Roth 21 Peptide Serum ran out I thought I would give this a try.

Let me be clear, I do not have sensitive skin, rather a very normal skin type. I read tons of reviews and heard about the burning. I did not experience this at all. However, what I did experience within two days of using it was it totally dried my skin out.

I really wanted to like this product so I kept using it day and night as directed. The dryness only got worse and it made my skin start to redden. I stopped using it after only one week and took it back to Ulta and bought my tried and true Peter Thomas Roth 21 Peptide Serum.

I read those reviews before, too, and the only comments I agree with is that the container is hard to get all the product out and that you don’t get that much for the money spent. BUT, that is worth it for the results!.

This product makes me think about the old saying, you get what you pay for. Yes this is expensive, it is absolutely worth every penny. I wouldn’t even recommend a dupe for this because this product is in a league of its own.

The first time you use this product you realize how great it is upon initial application. This is different from other serums. It applies smoothly and it’s very iridescent. It sinks right into the skin.

The scent is pleasant and light. This serum is loaded with amazing ingredients that really help to hydrate the skin and make the skin appear more radiant and healthy. It helps your skin to appear more youthful and bouncy.

Its hydrating as well as wonderful with evening out skin tone. I highly recommend this.

I really want to like this. It smells amazing but I couldn’t even begin to tell you how the product is working because the product does not come out of the device with this roller ball. Literally have to shake it 10 times to get one roll of the roller ball’s worth of product.

For $300 – you would think the product delivery would be impeccable. This is unreal. Avoid avoid avoid!.

Amazing eye serum. I used this product for my wedding day trial make up. Using a serum gets below the skin surface level to really hydrated. You can then layer an eye cream on top for extra hydration.

Makes sense as for my face I always use serum before the moisturiser. Luxury product as you would expect from Chantecaille skincare.

I got this product in a sample pack several months ago and loved it! The product itself is lovely and it felt cool going on. It was so wonderful that I finally decided to spend the very expensive amount to purchase.

What a disappointment! It is so hard to get any serum out of the container, and if I do manage to get a drop all the cooling is gone. Most of the time I get nothing out of it.
