You cannot buy a better oil for engine protection, wear on the piston skirt virtually eliminated on my ktm 105. however this oil was meant for racing applications only and i wouldn’t recommend for enduro or trail riding.
it makes my ktm 300 groggy after so long at low rpm. the extremely high flash point means the oil doesn’t burn and in turn creates a lot of oil dripping out the exhaust pipe. would highly recommend to anyone who races or rides there 2 stroke on the pipe.

I find that when I use mogul 800t road and race in my sons Moto x bike when he’s racing it actually give the engine a cooler cylinder temp whereas the 800t motocross and enduro type doesn’t and actually makes the exhaust turn blue.

I have always used Lucas products because they work as advertised. Lucas let me down here, the main reason I purchased this was because it is advertised as “a true smokeless formula”. In my yamaha 50 with oil injection it smokes just as bad or maybe even worse at idle as every other oil I have tried.
I don’t mind paying more to get what I pay for but very disappointed here. I’m sure it’s a good quality product but they need to take “smokeless” out of the advertisement. Will not buy this again.
I used this oil in a older outboard motor. Did mostly slow trolling all day. No plug fouling or other problems. However this oil is not smokeless as it says. The same amount of smoke was emitted as any other high grade oil.
I would recommend as a good oil if smokeless is not important.
Back in the early 90s when i used 2 cycle oil, I smoked the lake and it left a film of oil on the water. ! Now im a clean earth person and i want to leave this earth the same way that i got it! This oil does all that it says it does.
it never smokes and is the cleanest burning oil that i have ever used! I went thru 2 to 3 sets of plugs a year! Now i use one set a year! I change them just because im use to doing it!.

Many in the hobby swear by Redline Racing oil and I decided to give it a try by running a Redline mix through my yard tools (weed-eater, blower, 2 different Stihl chainsaws.
) The difference was very apparent. I’m also running a tad lighter mix there also. Instead 50:1 using closer to 60:1 So far so good. Looking forward to going to the Redline mix for my RC plane if this test was any indication of the performance improvement I expect to see.

But now with this semi synthetic oil my moped has now gained speed and it is now cleaner smelling. Definitely worth using!.

Ever since I’ve put another 2 dozen tanks through it milling and the saw is still in excellent shape. Don’t cheap out on oil!.

Dominator has been my oil of choice for over 6 years since switching back to two stroke motorcycles. I put about 125 hours per season on my motorcycle between racing and riding before performing a yearly rebuild.
Using Amsoil the topend of my bikes are always in spec after tearing them down with less blow by and carbon build up compared to the other oils I have used. Up to this point I have not experienced any motor failures while running Dominator and I am confident based on my research and observations it is the top two stroke oil on the market today.
I was using another brand of oil in my Paramotor and was getting a lot of carbon buildup on the piston and head. I figured that that was just part of the game. That is until I did a top end rebuild on a friends engine.
His engine had nearly twice the hours since last cleaning with almost no carbon buildup and virtually no signs of heat buildup or wear on the bearings, piston, cylinder, etc. I couldnâ€™t believe it.

Either Klotz or Blendzall OIL was his bike saver, I’ve personally seen what good it can do for your 2-STROKE Engine! After rigorous research I chose VP full synthetic 2 cycle oil for two new chainsaws. I bought an Echo CS620PW-27″ and Holzfforma G660 PRO-36″. I’ve been operating them slightly rich for set in at 40:1 with high octane straight gas.
I will likely use this ratio for their lifetime. When I removed the muffler to inspect the piston of the G660 after five spent tanks of fuel, I was happy to see a well lubricated and highly polished perfect piston.
Another benefit of this oil is that it contains gas stabilizer that keeps it good up to one year, so adding stabilizer is unnecessary. The only other requirement is a sharp chain and personal protective gear; eyes, ears, lungs, hands, and legs especially.

Although two cycle engines are known for being hard to start. I agree, this is not a bad product. The usual smoke happens for less then five seconds. Even then it is not much. Hopefully, this will not go bye bye anytime soon.
Good oil. Get some real fast startups with all your 2 cycle stuff. Odor isn’t too bad. Comes in bottle with the pre-measure marks so you can get the concentration of gas / oil you want. Personally, I prefer 40:1 in all my stuff, even if it says use 16:1.

Last year was the first season I’ve ran this in my 95 Polaris Indy 440 as injection oil and it works Awesome hardly smokes at all and it takes forever to foul out a set of plugs. I’m still running the same set of plugs since I bought it last year, ran it all last season and I’m about to run it again this season coming up.
Granted I do have about $18. 00 in to plugs though but you pare that with high octane and the good Lucas semi-synthetic 2-cycle oil and Buddy your in business. Thank you Lucas for keeping my old sled Alive I’m a very happy customer.
I am a tree service owner and mechanic. I use it in my large assortment of Stihl power tools year round and have never had any problems. I believe it is comparable to the Stihl brand which is considerable more expensive.

I started using Klotz in my Kart engines in 1970 and later in my Dirt Bikes as I segued into Motocross. I have tried other premix oils over the years, some with decent results, but I’ve always come back to Klotz as nothing has impressed me more when it comes to what I’ve seen during countless tear downs and inspections over the last 50 years.
Traditionally I have used Klotz Techniplate or Super Techniplate on my 250 2-Strokes @32:1 with outstanding results, but when we started riding 125’s again, I gave Klotz R-50 @32:1 a try as it’s meant for higher RPM use.
The results have been phenomenal. Little to no wear on the piston & cylinder, super clean combustion chamber and no deposits on the power valve! I really don’t care how my premix oil smells as I’m only interested in performance/results, but it’s nice that Klotz R-50 smells great as well.

Im using this as an additive to my diesel sprinter at 1:200 and it runs much smoother and quieter and with a bit more zip. Id read on a forum that this is common in the US and apparently since the reduction in sulphur content in diesel it has lost lots of its lubricating quality which this replaces, better for the pump, also burns cleaner too.
A large German car manufacturer (unspecified) did some long term testing with various additives and came to the conclusion that theyre all a waste of money apart from fully synthetic 2 stroke oil. Apparently keeps the engine clean too.
So if I put in 50L of fuel I divide 50,000 x 200 = 250ml, fully synthetic is best. Anyway I mentioned it to my local mechanic, and he really knows his stuff and he said thatll be why it runs so sweet.
Its good for the longevity of the engine, I know it all seems counterintuitive really as I would have previously thought it would make it smoke more but tests have proven that it reduces smoke by quite a high percentage.
As the title says don’t skimp on oil this is the life blood of any working machine. Used lots of different types of oil in 2 strokes for years and with out a doubt this is the best hands down. Less smoke better performance and reliability and better starting all in one product don’t believe just try you won’t be disappointed.
I bought his oil from Halfords For two reasons; 1) Price was less than the recommended retailers quote for twice the amount of oil in the bottle! A marvelous saving of more than 100% 2) The engine is running fine with this oil and I am happy to continue using it.
