Best Off Road Vehicle In Need For Speed Heat (2025 Updated)

I was super excited for this game even though it arrived late. I downloaded it right when it arrived and I noticed it was making a really loud spinning noise in my Xbox One X which has up to this point always been dead silent besides a little whirring when first downloading a game.

But this sound was painful like as if the Xbox was hurting so I took it out and put it back in, and the same thing happened. So I thought maybe it was the Xbox and I put in another game and it was just fine and quiet as well.

So I put the game in to download even though it was loud and went straight to playing when it was finished. Well I tried to open it 5 times until I realized it was crashing and it wasn’t me accidentally closing it some way some how.

So all in all, the game doesn’t work. SMH. Luckily I could download NFS Heat from my Xbox Game Pass. I bet that was their plan all along.

Took me a while to complete this game’s story mode, but it was definitely long and worthwhile just to see how the story played out. The gameplay was definitely fun the longer you stayed with the game and learned how its new mechanics work.

Speed Cards is introduced as your new system for upgrading your ride beyond its natural limitations, which kind of keeps you coming back in hopes to being ready for the next big event. Sometimes you have to replay events to earn enough to get to the next big thing, but it’s not a constant thing if you are frugal early on with base shipments and earned rewards.

For a smooth gameplay style, I recommend you save all of your Speed Cards until you really need them. Don’t sale the ones you don’t want; store them to invest in rolling three unused ones for a chance to score a really powerful one later on as you progress through the game with your car of choice.

Save up all of your money to get that dream car you always wanted (mine was the Jaguar F-Type R). The only downside to this game, when compared to the likes of Hot Pursuit, is that the cop chases are either very difficult to get past later on in the game and that they just end automatically after you get toward your final checkpoint.

It’s nowhere near as good as it was when you actually had to work hard and think creatively at dispatching them in previous games. The game is split up between Race, Drift, Drag, Off-Road, and Runner (Cop Chase) events.

You’ll most likely spend most of your time as a racer and doing off-road events because those two are the most challenging as you get deeper into the game. (Off-Road is particularly unfair on certain difficulty settings.

) There are a million little distractions to do in the open-world of this desert city, so go out and explore, find derelicts, and save up for your dream car. Then go online and challenge the world with your unique ride.

I grabbed this for the PS4 a couple weeks ago. I havent put it down yet! Ill give it a quick rundown. *STORY* Just like the others, lame at some points and not so bad at others. *GRAPHICS* Amazing, it has beautiful scenery along with day and night cycles.

The cars are absolutely gorgeous! *THINGS TO DO* It has tons to do, there is a ton of cars to build that is very detailed from bumper to bumper, a bunch of story and side races with side bets for extra money.

Also, you can find hidden body parts around the world to 5 cars for that supercar. The car lineup has classics to futuristic, american muscle to extremely rare and now you can build Off-road with them.

It gets a little challenging at times but nothing to crazy. You can free roam and play it offline. If you liked NFS Most Wanted im sure you will have no problem with this one. Its been a great game even with the bad reviews.

This is the NFS I have been looking for since Underground, Underground 2 and Carbon. I hope this review helps in making a purchase and getting this gem the recognition it very well deserves! Enjoy.

The game is very well put together with amazing graphics and fun to be had. Need for Speed offers some unique races, a huge open map and great multiplayer. However, the racing is short lived as you find yourself doing the same thing over and over again.

Also, the integrated constant online feature messes with your single player – as you are racing AI, online drivers could drive into you whilst free roaming, this then messes with your race. Overall, for the price – it is worth it.

However, the fun will not last unless you start finding your own challenges. There are only 50 cars in the game which is terrible, but the game focuses on customisation, so this is understandable. Graphics are stunning (other than the fact it is always night) the story isn’t very in depth but the multiplayer is very good.

Buy it if you love the franchise, if you want to play with friends or you don’t get bored easily. The game is good for street car lovers.

Need for speed is a series that needs a hard reboot, just start from scratch. The story is pretty generic, ” race to be the best” like arc. It constant needs online, if you can’t connect, you can’t play, meaning you also have to play with other people.

The cut scenes are live action and in first person, which is great for the immersion, but the acting is very bland and just not good overall. The gameplay itself is fun, the driving feels great, they’re 4 type of missions such as “Speed, Style, Crew and Rebel” The driving feels great and is fully customizable form the wheel tighness to your interior, exterior and specs, for as long as it’s unlocked and you have the coin.

They’re are a medium amounts of cars available, but they have a few of each type that you. The game is fun, but a lacking story and bad acting, really take away from it, but the game play is fun and if that’s all you want in a game, I can recomended it for sure.

Having played most NFS games this one seems a good addition to the series with some major quirks. Graphics are good with great visual style built on Frostbite engine. Night/Dawn time setting is a little tiring and puts a lot of strain on the eyes.

The story line gets boring after time with the repetitive missions. The biggest negative to this game is the need of constant connection to the internet even for single player mode. However PSN Plus service is not needed to play single player mode.

Car selection is scares but we knew that before the game was out. All in all this game has its own character with different driving styles and visuals which can make you forget all the negatives until you loose your internet connection.

If you are an NFS fan then I can recommend this game otherwise stay away.

The game overall is pretty good. But in order to increase reputation, you have to drive the events at night. This also increases the likelihood of being chased by cops which are nearly impossible to shake.

It seems no matter how fast or how well you drive, they can keep up with you or pass you. They only have to drive next to you to bust you, which means you could be doing 180 mph and they can still bust you.

When you do get busted/wrecked they take at least $30,000 of your money. So, all told the game is decent but it is completely ruined by the excessive cops.

I have played every NFS. From the early series defining 90s exotic racers, the shift to street racing, MOST WANTED 2005, attempt at cannonball run with The Run, failure in sim racing with Shift 1 and 2, the forgettable Most Wanted and Hot Pursuit reboots, then the interesting yet forgettable NFS 2015 and Payback.

The last two games were mighty disappointing, but they served their purpose. Heat is definitely a return to a decent handling model, cheesy storytelling that defined the series since NFS Undeground and perfected in Most Wanted 05, and a great setting.

Only issue is longetivity of this game once you complete the main campaign as you can’t jump into online lobbies to search worldwide for races. Instead you are placed in a hub (open world) where you can only invite or be invited by other racers to participate in a race.

Absolutely awful system. GTSport and Forza Horizon 4 stay in rotation because of the physics and the online aspect. Heat doesn’t have the driving physics to make tuning and driving cars rewarding on its own.

Without the campaign to drive the momentum, the game does lose steam. But during that time, it is probably one of the best arcade racing experiences I have had in a while. Crew 2 was absolute trash and Forza Horizon 4 took a while to grow on me before I fell in love.

Thing is I’m done with Heat after 20hrs, while I’m going 741hrs strong in FH4. Either way, a worthy successor to NFS greats.

A huge list of cars is amazingly recreated, while Palm City offers a wide range of locations for racing from city streets to swamps. Weather conditions are perfectly reproduced, although they are limited only by the types of rain.

Night lighting is especially magnificent, filling your periphery with blurry neon lights when you rip through the streets of the city at full speed. You can buy upgrades and cars for cash if your reputation is high enough.

There are tons of cosmetic options, as you would expect. On the mechanical side of the garage there are car statistics, which allows you to adapt your wheels to different types of races. Thus, you can get either a drift car, an SUV or a sports car.

The main unique addition is the system of day and night. The city hosts a driving festival, so during the day you can participate in legal races to make money. But, since the demand for spare parts is very high, you will not be able to spend this money until you build up your reputation in illegal street racing at night.

At low levels of search, it’s enough to simply shake off or break one police car, but when you start to pursue four at once, it becomes more interesting. More recent improvements can help your car destroy cops or run away from them if you want to start the hottest chase.

Need for Speed: Heat is a really fun game that offers tons of content.

The game is pretty dated by today’s standards, as the gameplay can be quite clunky when compared to later 3D fighters. Even on the PS1, games series such as Tekken and Tobal would be much better in terms of control, function, and graphics.

However, as one of the original fighting game series on the ps1, it has a charm with its novelty, and has a fun set of characters, a cool art style with some of the arenas, and a catchy sound track. If you can pick it up for a good value ($15 or less), I’d recommend it.

It’s certainly fun for what it is, and an interesting look at the early days of 3D fighters.

It’s over all decent game as it’s not new I realize that it will have a few issues so I ain’t complaining because for the most part it plays as if should only thing I seen a problem with was when I get chased by police the road after driving so far disappears and you have no idea where your going.

All in all I’d give it a 4 star.

This need for speed is probably one of the worst I’ve played. It isn’t a thing like the Most Wanted. In fact even the New Rivals isn’t as good as most wanted ! Most wanted is free roam and the landscapes change.

Rivals is always the same old boring highway with little to no city. Carbon was great that it had split screen. It is a disappointment that the newer NFS games didn’t they would be amazing I’m sure if they did.

Carbon is great if all you want to do is race on a track where you can’t make your own decisions and steer off the beaten path if you want.

NFS is pretty much the only game that I play anymore. I have played them all from PS1 to now. This release is little off. You are sort of forced to follow missions IN ORDER to continue through the game.

There is a lot of extra mini missions like jumping through billboards or locating digital coins while free roaming around the map but it is not that interesting. And the voice talking of your “crew” is so repetitive is gets annoying at times.

At first it was kind of cool that the interaction was going on and thought it to be part of the story line, but after playing for a couple weeks, they seem to say the same stuff over and over. Overall, it is a decent game to play and if you’re a NFS junky, then obviously you will sort of like it.

I don’t plan on stopping over these little things, but if I compared it to the other NFS games, I would put this one at the bottom of list.

This game is legendary and really changed the way people see racing games. It is action-packed and finds a way to entertain you from start to finish even if you don’t like racing games. Legendary soundtrack, intense police pursuits, great vehicles and beautifully designed open-world are what this game has to offer.

Great features to this game was the nitrous and the speedbreaker that really allowed endless possibilities on how to drive your car. Even beginners can look amazing driving their hot rods. This game gets you addicted on every event from circuit races, sprint races, lap-knockout races and drag races.

There are also tollbooth and speedtrap events that tests your speed and driving skills. The most entertaining event of the game however is the milestone events given by the 15 Blacklist racers. Milestone events are used to rack up your bounty by causing havoc on purposely-engaged police pursuits.

During police pursuits you can complete milestone goals such as dodging a certain number of police roadblocks and spike strips, hitting a certain number of police vehicles, getting a certain number of cost to the state by hitting vehicles and damaging property and getting points on your bounty and committing infractions.

However to be successful, you have to evade the police pursuits after completing the milestone goals for that pursuit also. To escape you can simply outrun the cops and use open-world map navigation to plan your escape or use pursuit breakers which are fragile objects around the city that you can use to immobilize police vehicles.

Another great event to this game is the photo ticket milestone event which is to get a certain miles per hour. After you win enough races and complete enough milestone events and rack up enough bounty you can challenge a blacklist racer and if you beat them you can choose 2 slips that will range from impound strike, get out of jail free, extra cash reward, customizable and performance upgrades and the pink slip.

The pink slip allows you to have ownership of the Blacklist racer’s car. These slips are picked by chance but if you always want to get the pink slip turn auto-save off and challenge the Blacklist racer.

If you fail to get the pink slip you just simply turn off your console and the start the game again from your last saved point and attempt to get the pink slip again. There are also a great number of cars that you can purchase with cash you earn in events at car lots around the city and you can also take your cars to car shops to upgrade them with customizable features and enhance their performance.

The police pursuits are the aspect that receives most attention of this game and is really what the whole Need for Speed series is all about but racing is extremely fun too! Even if you find the racing boring the music from the game will keep you entertained.

Some racing events will feature police pursuits that you will force you to outrun the cops after you win the race. Need for Speed features a great storyline where you are a protagonist that is on a journey to become the number 1 Blacklist racer and the Most wanted illegal street racer of Rockport city.

Cutscenes are great and the game has a epic introduction and ending. The worst consoles to get this game is the PS2 and the gamecube which has horrible graphics and takes away the beauty of the game.

The best consoles to get it on is the original Xbox and the Xbox 360 which is slightly better than the original xbox due to enhanced graphics but the police lights look much prettier in the original xbox.

This game also changed the way we see police pursuits. Other Need for Speed games just require us to simply outrun the cops. This game requires you to create havoc during those police pursuits through milestone goals before outrunning the cops.

This game has great online multiplayer and also has quick-play and challenge series where you complete 68 challenges that test your overall-skills. The 68th challenge is the hardest which forces you to survive a 30 minute police pursuit and then evading it after the 30th minute.

This game features 5 heat levels where the cops get more aggressive and execute different tactics to stop you as you get higher in heat levels. The special heat 6 level happens during the final police pursuit in the story mode where you have to evacuate the city from a broken bridge and also makes it’s appearance in the 68th challenge in challenge mode.

This game also features a rap sheet that keeps track of all your records in police pursuits as well as the records of other blacklist racers. It is optional to break the records of the other Blacklist racers.

In heat level 1 police civic cruisers chase you. Heat level 2 police civic undercover cruiser. Heat level 3 police state cruisers. Heat level 4 police state undercover cruiser. Heat level 5 police federal cruiser which has nitrous and can easily catch up to you in high speeds.

Heat level 6 has police federal undercover cruisers and Rhino SUVS.

For almost every NFS fan it always comes down to either Underground 2, Most Wanted, or Carbon. Lets start by the graphics, this is one of the biggest graphics jumps in the series, especially on PC cars looked stunning! If you do not wish to play the PC version, then Xbox 360 is easily your best bet, by far superior graphically and smoother than the PS2, Gamecube, and original Xbox versions.

Going into career mode you notice how they use full motion video, which mostly turns out so bad in other games its funny. Somehow Most Wanted made this style look cool again with a great setting and background and not so bad acting! The story is the best in the series, is it a good story for a movie? No.

Its as clich as it can possibly get. but its the way they immerse you into the story with your car getting stolen, the usage of voice mail and text messages while progressing in the career, every time Razor sends you a message calling you sweetheart you just want to punch his face that much more The gameplay is fantastic, handling feels good, and the sense of speed on the highway is just awesome, shortcuts are everywhere in this game and its fun memorizing them to use them to your advantage.

There is one big flaw in the gameplay, drifting, it feels like pulling a wardrobe on a rockysurface, the car just immediately loses all its momentum and control and thats probably the reason there are no drift races in the game.

Cop chases are easily the most fun in the series, if not the most challenging, you will love dropping giant donuts on the police and running around in circles while the police just constantly crash each other and give you extra bounty.

Challenge mode is very, very hard in the end and has a respectable 68 challenges, career mode is quite long as well, car lineup is awesome and varied, theres just so much to do in this game and I havent got bored of it not even after 14 years, its sad the reboot of this masterpiece was another hypercar riddled Burnout reskin Most Wanted never deserved that.

First of all, the game is still extremely fun to play even after 15 years of new releases and new hardware. The far selection, albeit limited perfectly fits with the themes of the city and the feeling of being in the daylight and more sort of industrial and edgy feeling.

The soundtrack is also great, bands like Bullet For My Valentine? Disturbed? Mastodon, even Celldweller. Great mixture of songs and genres, even if all I stated was metal. But there is one thing that can easily kill the game for someone like me.

The big thing that for me, crushes it from being the BEST NFS is the rubberbanding, it is completely busted in this game, if you get any noticeable lead in this game, before you realize it, the AI will be right on your rear bumper again, for me around Blacklist Rival #5, the game went from really fun to really frustrating, I probably selected the wrong cars, but come on, the AI with fast cars and rubberbanding.

? Its a recipe for disaster. The pursuits themselves are quite fun really, the whole feeling of having the city in the palms of your steering wheel chasing after you, it is a great feeling but anything past heat condition 4 becomes an absolute nightmare to get away from, when you are trying to escape and start to get away, a Helicopter spawns, for example.

Like rubberbanding, it is incredibly frustrating and can completely ruin the game late game when going for the late game pursuit milestones. The races themselves are fine, you got racing, lap knockout, tollbooths (basically time trial) and the WORST and most BS race type of them all.

Drag Races. They are absolutely horrible, basically you are on a rail the entire time, the car following the set lanes for you, and you have to shift gears and swap lanes, its fine yeah? The problem occurs when it comes to the AI cars.

Or traffic cars, they are put in places just to crash your car, oh and have I mentioned that if you hit a car too hard in a drag race you get totaled? Anyways, they turn into complete RNG and luck, trial and error also.

Final word though, I know this review is quite negative for a 4* review. But honestly it is still top 5 in terms of Need For Speed games. Not the best IMO, but up there. The game is extremely frustrating, thing all the mid 2000s NFS titles were good at being.

And the final thing I will say is that if you want a nostalgia trip, go ahead and pick it up, you wont regret it. Even after all the frustration of the rubberbanding and the Drag Races.

I really think that this is one of the most underrated NFS games. It’s not without it’s flaws, but I found the gameplay to be second to none. I remember the very first time I every played this game – it completely blew me away.

Compared to other racing games, NFS the Run takes a page out of the old 80’s Outrun point-to-point style racing games. I don’t mind racing around a repetitive track, and I enjoy open world racing games, but IMHO the point-to-point format is far superior.

The game actually feels like one giant race, and you feel that there is a progression as you move from one area to the next. The opening stages are exhilarating – you actually feel that there is a reason why you’re racing, and it really adds to the excitement.

I’ve never really cared for the whole “earn street cred by challenging other racers format”, and NFS the Run throws you right into the middle of the action. It’s true that, like most racing games, you won’t have the fastest cars early on, but there are no duds or bombs that you have to put up with until you’ve been able to save up/win better vehicles.

Right from the first race you’re given a choice of 3 very different, but capable cars. Like most NFS games, the sensation of speed is awesome, and there are truly some memorable scenes throughoutthe game.

I also have to give praise for the great music, especially the main theme that occurs throughout the campaign. In terms of flaws, to my mind there are only two. The first flaw is that the game is pretty short.

If you’re really committed, and you’ve played these sorts of games before, you could probably finish it in approx 4 hours. There are single event “challenge” races, where you can unlock cars/items/etc, and the multiplayer aspect works really well, but if we’re just talking about the single player “story mode” then you’re looking at about 4 hours of gameplay.

The second flaw, in my opinion, is that the story loses momentum during the second half of the game. Not enough to make you lose interest, but I certainly didn’t have that same level of excitement as I did in the early stages of the game.

I realise that this is a racing game first and foremost, and EA were breaking new ground in a sense here, but I just feel that they could have put a bit more effort in. Those are the only two significant flaws, but I wouldn’t let that put you off this otherwise awesome game.

And considering that you’ll only be paying a fraction of the original retail price, it’s pretty damn good value. It’s a shame this game wasn’t better received, as I doubt EA will be making a sequel anytime soon.

And if anyone is interested, my all-time favourite arcade racer is Midnight Club 2.

I’ve always liked the idea of the Need for Speed games more than actually playing them. The physics felt off and I never liked the switch to an open world setting. That’s why I like The Run. The game is incredibly compelling, what with the looming clock, and it does a great job of making you feel like there’s more at stake than just winning the next race.

I also like the fact that it’s not open world. This may diminish the replayability, but it makes what’s there more enjoyable for me. It’s hard as heck too, on the hardest difficulty level. The quick time events are kinda lame, though.

They could have found a better way to conduct the out of car sections. But for what it is, it’s enjoyable. Check it out of you aren’t thrilled with open world racing games like me.

need for speed the run, the game follows a simple plot of a man, wanted dead by the mob, trying to earn back his freedom, in this case a cross country street race with 250 other drivers. the game looks visually stunning, the background vistas, and car details are great.

the game starts out really great, but it quickly becomes extremely frustrating. i’ll give you an example of what i mean, the game limits you to 5 “resets” per race, reseting you back to the last checkpoint you past.

the game will automatically reset you if you go even slightly off the road, i can not tell you how many times i lost a race in the last courner because i went slightly off the road, (i mean literally, in some cases, 1 wheel slightly off the road, reseted me) as well, the game automatically resets you if you “wrecked” your car, which will happen ALOT, most of the guard rails in the game break away, but usually (and for an unknown reason as well) have a solid part somewhere in the middle, which you will hit and total the car.

and unlike most other arcade racing games, hitting cars, even slightly, results in wrecking the car, this isn’t just a result of bad driving, cops, mobsters, and other racers have pushed me into street posts, other cars, or off cliffs.

After awhile the game becomes AGONIZINGLY FRUSTRATING! another thing, the cars all feel strage when you race them, the exhotics (you Lamborghini’s, Audi’s. and others. ) all feel slugish, and severly underpowered.

and barely get to 160. as apposed to unrealistic other cars in the game such as a 1969 boss 302 mustang, (which is easily fast than the lambo) will do 195-200 (which is not even possible in real life) this doesn’t sound like a big deal, i loved racing muscle cars in this game.

but when you racing on a snow covered mountain in an AWD nissan GT-R and your losing to 3 0’s elcaminos all going 200 mph. this is a BS moment in video gaming. its also extremely short, (not counting the hours of resets i had to do) you could easily beat it in 4 hours for the main campaign despite all the hair=pulling frustration, i did find myself coming back and back.

its a good game, just frustraingly hard (from a person who plays dark souls easily. ) i would STRONGLY recomend (if you haven’t played it already) to buy Forza Horizon, i 15$ for a sealed copy of NFS the run, and horizon could be picked up in the 25-32$ range.

if you can, PAY THE EXTRA, forza horizon is a ALL ROUND better game, better cars, better system, better songs, better everything. if you can pick it up for under 10$ used. then its a deal, this game wasn’t bad by any means, it was just anoyingly hard at points.

There has been so many racing games out there, for such a vast number of consoles. As an Owner of the 3DS console I wanted a game that was very action packed. Need for Speed franchise has been very successful in the way of racing.

Some games focus heavily on one thing or another, i. e. Cops, racing or takedowns. The run has it ALL! From the beginning, you start out in action and it does not end there. The run from start to finish leaves you with a taste of action and cool stunts.

The GRAPHICS for the 3DS are OUTSTANDING! The story-line is in no way dry, The cutscenes are all played in comic like form which is actually pretty AWESOME for a game once in awhile. However, there are a few downsides to this game, such as the fact that you can not customize your car or for that fact, choose a car through out single player mode, your stuck with whatever car the main character ends up in next, you find yourself hoping he does not uncover a weenier mobile, because if he did.

you’ll never finish the race in time!!! The race is from COAST to COAST, which leaves room for exciting game-play through out all of single player mode. The cars you do uncover are far from slow, you get very nice quick, edgy and advanced racing cars.

This game definitely compares to several other racing games in its nice graphics, however for 3DS this game is pretty ASTOUNDING! It beats Fast and Furious and Burnout for psp. But will always fall short when compared to a console connected to the TV.

If you want an EXCITING, HEART-STOPPING, GRAPHIC BEAUTIFIED game, That involves lots of RACING, CHASING, CAR TOTALING FUN. Then, Need for Speed The Run is a game that you should definitely own!!.

I used to love the original “Need for Speed” game back on the Playstation 1. This game kind of reminded me of it. fast paced driving/racing game. decent graphics and good car control. easy to play yet challenging.

You are basically in a cross country race from LA to NY, (I am only about halfway through right now). I like the idea that it is not track racing, the fact that you travel the country is cool. different environments, (weather, mountains, open roads, night/day courses etc) make it even more fun.

Only downside is that they have not made it backwards compatible to play on the XB1.

I played Need for Speed Most Wanted back when it came out in 2005, and since then, it has been my favorite NFS title to date. It’s the perfect marriage of Hot Pursuit style police chases and Underground style vehicle customization and fleshed-out plot.

However, I first had the Nintendo GameCube version, which was lacking in the graphical quality department. Xbox 360s were brand new back then, so I didn’t have one. Recently, I had been thinking about buying the newest NFS title, Payback, but the dismal reviews kept me away.

I began thinking back to what the best NFS games were, and thought of how much I enjoyed Most Wanted 12 years ago. I no longer have the GameCube, so I couldn’t play my original copy, but I do have an Xbox 360 now.

So I bought this version. The graphics are a huge improvement over the GameCube, and the controls are better too. Neither measure up to the latest racing games like Forza Horizon 3, but in 2005, the Xbox 360 version was definitely the one to have.

The story is a lot cheesier than I remember it being, but I was 14 then, so of course it is. It’s still enjoyable. The car selection (and customization options) compared to new racing titles like Forza is laughably small, but the cars included fit the tone the game (with the possible exception of the PorscheCarrera GT, an ultra-rare supercar that feels out of place in this outlaw street racing game, even among other exotics like Lamborghinis and Aston Martins).

The game is in many ways just as good as I remember it being 12 years ago, and with the 360 version, it’s even better. If you’re looking to recapture Need for Speed’s glory days, the Xbox 360 version of Most Wanted is the way to do it.

*It’s worth noting that this game will not work in an Xbox One. No backwards compatibility with NFS titles released on the 360 has been added to the One yet.

I had high hopes that this would be a decent translation of the 2005 NFS: MW. Unfortunately, it’s not. Maybe because it’s a cartridge there’s less room for data. I admit, I’ve never had good luck with driving games on a portable; something about the stick just isn’t sensitive enough (like a console controller).

I loved the ps2 version. This is like a stripped down version. Definitely don’t recommend and am glad this was Used (i said YES to good value cuz it’s not worth more than $10). I didn’t give the game much time cuz it was just failing in so many ways right off the bat.
