When it first arrived I was impressed on how they presented it in the packaging as you open the lid you are presented with this high quality item that just screams to be unboxed and get onto the stove top.

Upon taking it out of the box you immediately notice the superb quality of the unit. The handle feels great in your hand and the weight of the construction screams that it is going to outlive me. I followed the pre-seasoning instructions and then proceeded to cook my first meal, beef Szechuan.

This pan cooked so evenly and the clean up was as simple as a quick wipe out with a paper towl. I was really intrigued by the extended lip so my next meal I prepared pan seared Halibut. The lip was perfect for allowing me to tilt the pan while I based the the fish.

Once again because of the quality of the pan it produced a much better dish than I have the ability to do on my own. At this point I’m am so excited that I have run the pan thru numerous places cooking everything from pan seared stakes that get finished off in the oven to sauces that normally stain a pan and this unit has not disappointed.

Even cooking and clean up is a breeze. This pan is now my go to for 90% of all my cooking whether it be on the stove top, the grill or the oven.

I was totally sold by the Caraway brand and decided to try their Sauté pan—especially as it came in a gorgeous yellow! All the reviews were great with some minor warnings about easy chipping, but that was all.

I wanted to write this review to just flag up some of the little things that I didn’t expect and that ultimately made me decide to return it: 1. The pan was so heavy! This was something I didn’t think to look at on the product page (Weight (w/ lid): 6.

8 lbs). It feels like it’s a cast iron skillet which for me was not what I wanted. There is no way I could lift this pan with any food in it with one hand—and that’s with the lid off! 2. The pan handles are metal which heats up.

On the long side handle this means that you can’t hold it close to the pan which, combined with the weight, makes it very difficulty to move around while in use. The top handle is worse, as when you use it while cooking the handle itself doesn’t heat up so much but it’s very easy to brush your knuckles on the top of the lid when using—and the top of the lid is definitely hot when cooking! All this being said the whole buying experience was seamless and the the customer service was on point.

Thank you Caraway for your service—I’m sorry the pan didn’t work out for me!.

The sauté pan is the first Caraway product for my kitchen; however, I previously bought a complete set of pots and pans and the bakeware set for a family member. Truth is, I cook almost every day and entertain several times a month.

I have been wanting to replace my existing pots, pans and bakeware sets, but decided to try one out first. I have used many different manufacturers’ cookware through the years. The Caraway sauté pan is far superior to my smaller capacity iron skillet for most every task, though I will likely continue to use the iron skillet to bake cornbread in the oven for nostalgia’s sake! Caraway cookware is easy to clean and attractive, too.

I would prefer a transparent lid to be able to see what’s cooking. Even so, Caraway cooking/baking products are the best I know!.

I’ve been enticed by Caraway targeted ads for over a year now. When my old pan finally broke, I decided to splurge and buy the Caraway saute pan. I have to say, the aesthetics are perfect. When I received the package, I was amazed at how everything was so beautifully wrapped and presented – it was like receiving a designer purse.

The pan is beautiful. It’s the most beautiful thing in my kitchen now. The pan itself is very versatile because of it’s large diameter and high sides. I can use it to make big batches of stir fry or saute large amounts of vegetables at a time.

The pan is non-stick, so cleaning has been really easy. I am making sure to follow the care instructions very closely though – so no heat above medium, only wooden utensils, wait for it to cool down before cleaning, and make sure the bottom of the pan is completely dry before using.

I’ve been using it for a week now and haven’t noticed any deterioration in the non-stick properties, the appearance, etc. What I have noticed is that because the pan is very large, it does take a little longer than my previous pan to heat up on my biggest electric stove burner – maybe an extra 3 min or so.

The reason why I gave the pan 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the weight of the pan. It’s too large and heavy to efficiently hold with 1 hand to spoon food out onto plates. You can do it, but your wrists will hate you.

The lid also is very heavy. I think if the lid and pan weighed a little less it would be completely perfect. It’s not a huge con, but it is something that is not immediately noticeable from the website.

To summarize – PROS: – Absolutely beautiful in every way. – Nonstick works great if you follow the care instructions – Large diameter enables efficient large batch cooking CONS: – Pan and lid are heavier than one would expect – It takes a little longer to heat the pan up on a conventional large electric stove burner Despite the cons I do not regret getting this pan over the Always Pan or in general.

The fact that I can stick it in the oven if I want is a huge plus.

I ordered our first Misen 12″ nonstick pan around the beginning of 2020. About a month ago, the nonstick coating in the middle of the pan started to bubble and eventually chipped away. After looking up the warranty information I found that the care instructions advise to use these on medium-to-low heat (which I probably used this at least a handful of times on high), and that they were only rated for about 2-5 years.

Fair enough, I figured I’d chalk the damage up as user error and order a second one and see how it fairs with me keeping it to a lower heat setting. So far this pan cooks about the same as the old pan.

Having the nonstick coating all the way to the induction base on the outside is nice in that it’s far easier to clean cooked on oil off the outside of the pan without using Barkeeper’s Friend (which I do use on the bare steel, and works pretty well, but of course I don’t care whatsoever about any kind of coating there.

DO NOT USE Barkeeper’s Friend on the nonstick coating). The pan retains heat VERY well, and this is something I’m already used to, though admittedly that was the end of a handful of sauces at the beginning that burned instantly even when I’d had the pan cooling for a while before switching tasks.

In fact, most times I cut the heat about 2 minutes before I believe the meat us fully cooked just because the residual heat will take it the rest of the way. I’m very happy about the change to the handle.

On the previous iteration of this pan, there was a flat handle with a silicone wrap that would slide at times. It made me too uneasy to attempt to flip items in the pan, out of fear that I’d end up inadvertently throwing the pan at my glass stovetop.

The current handle is easier to hold, more comfortable than the flat handle (even with the silicone), and I have no worries about potentially turning the meal into a weapon. I’ve actually gotten pretty good at flipping things like chopped meat or veggies without having to use utensils to flip them.

Overall I’m pretty happy with the pan and the changes. If I hadn’t been happy with the original I certainly wouldn’t have ordered a second, but going from Calphalon One pans to Misen felt like a big upgrade a couple years back.

I did shop around a bit before ordering the second, but figured I didn’t want to pay more for something where I knew I’d be paying a premium for a name and likely not see much added benefit as a home cook.

Hopefully this one lasts longer with better care, and I’m not buying another pan in 2 years.

I very much like the pans. They’re efficient and heat quickly, and once you adjust to just how efficient they are, they’re a joy to use. Coating is performing well a year after purchasing the 8/10/12 set.

But I wish the design had taken as much care with the exterior of the pans as the interior. Whatever the “shiny” is on the outside of the pans actually seems to attract stains, but if you scrub them.

well, the shiny comes off, revealing the raw aluminum below. What was once a pretty set of pans is less pretty now. Hopefully when a redesign comes up, you’ll consider anodizing the exteriors, so they can be kept looking nice.

It’s really a minor grumble, but I was just surprised at the oversight. The 8-inch pan is great for a classic 3-egg French omelet. But, it’s also the pan that really gets the wear and scratches on the outside owing to the lack of a hard protective layer.

I’d knock off half a star for that, but not a whole one.

My mom purchased three sizes of their old version of non-stick pans for me, along with the silicone lids. I am vegan, so I wanted to have my own pans that didn’t have non-vegan food cooked. From the beginning I was excited.

I didn’t know she’d even purchased them for me. But when I got them. OMG. I LOVE my pans!! When they say non-stick, they mean it. I was genuinely surprised by the quality and care that clearly goes into creating Misen products.

She bought the pans for me about two years ago. There is one pan that I use more and seems to have gotten more wear from all the use. I follow the care instructions provided by Misen, and my pans have lasted, with that care.

I use silicone material sponges, silicone cooking utensils, and cloth pan protectors. The one that was used more has recently been losing its non-stick quality, so I reached out to customer service, and Marvin – the customer service rep I’ve been communicating with – has been excellent.

Their customer service response time is just great. I messaged them and got a response within two hours or less of me sending the initial message. And after that, he responded quickly to each e-mail I sent.

We got the issue resolved and I am VERY happy with Misen. Do I recommend Misen products? ABSOLUTELY, without a doubt, yes! As a matter of fact, I’m about to invest in more Misen products because when you find something that works so beautifully, why look elsewhere? Thank you Misen!! You’re the cookware creator I didn’t know I needed!.

IšverstiShow in original languageI bought this pan directly from All-Clad as part of a 2 piece set. Both the 8 and 10 inch pans have a large bottom, more typical of a sauté pan, and very different than the profile of the stainless D3 or D5 fry pans that have sloping sides.

This 10 inch pan has the surface area more typical of a 12 inch D3 pan, which makes it cook larger than one would think. As a result, we use the 8 inch pan more often for breakfast, as it’s more like a typical 10 inch pan.

Both are very non stick, both sit perfectly flat on my glass top electric range, and both are very substantial pans. They are comfortable to use, heavy by comparison to most other non stick pans, but not heavy in absolute terms.

Cooking is very even. One thing that I must make others aware of is that they take much longer to come up to temperature than typical non stick pans. Don’t force heat into the pan, just set it on medium low heat and be patient.

Heated this way, temperature across the pan is very even without any hot spots. This is actually the only way to properly heat any pan, and being patient makes a huge difference. The induction compatible stainless steel base keeps the pan absolutely dimensionally stable, so the pan sits flat throughout the heating and cooling cycle.

Let the pan naturally cool down. No cold water, and then wash it. Stainless steel is not a great conductor of heat, but this is an advantage. It’s only on the base of the pan. As a result, it takes a bit longer to heat, but the heat is even and the pan stays hot.

The rest of the pan is aluminum. The combination makes these pans great. In fact, I find myself turning the heat down a bit after the food starts cooking. This keeps the pan from overheating. It’s exactly what I do when cooking on cast iron.

For eggs, it’s the best pan I’ve ever used. I’ve been using these for nearly 8 months now, and both pans are still as new. And please, never put any pan in the dishwasher. Also, I use ONLY wood or silicone utensils.

Both pans still look and perform as new.

IšverstiShow in original languageI have been using nonstick pans for years and my favorite had been the copper ones-light and truly nonstick. The problem with them is that the nonstick finish would only last a short time and also the bottoms would begin to warp or bow.

I was having to replace them frequently. I read that you do need to replace all nonstick pans eventually, but I wanted something to last longer than the copper pans. When I say the very reputable brand All Clad for such a great price I tried them.

They are fabulous! I have cooked nearly every day in them for the past 6 months and they continue to work as well as they did the first day. These are quality pans! The only downside would be that they are heavier than the copper pans, but I think their heft makes them more durable.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis is the second pair of these two skillets. The smaller one gets used several times everyday and so my first one became a tad too damaged and so I searched for a new one.

If I was the only person cooking it would’ve lasted for many years. But occasionally my wife or son attempts to cook something and neither are as adamant to only use non metallic utensils as well as care to never leave it empty the cooktop to overheat.

The larger one is not so frequently used so it still performs as new. Buying a single small skillet of this quality was about the same cost as the 2 piece set, so having another extra only makes sense.

I actually believe this small Al-Clad skillet outperforms my same size Le Cruset pan I recently paid much more for, in evenness of heat, as well as the non stick slipperiness. I was truly disappointed when I cooked eggs in each side by side.

No spray or oil. The AlClad was cooked and zero resistance when it was time to shift the caramelized underside, the other one wasn’t effortless to break that surface tension. Additionally it cooked a bit unevenly.

I used lids for each and both were in the same size elements of my induction cooktop. All in all, I’m happy with each and every one of my AlClad items. I’ll likely still purchase Calphalon now that they offer a full assortment of induction friendly products, but only a couple years back I needed to replace my entire Calphalon collection except the items good for an oven.

After about two weeks, I’ve used everything in the set at least once and some items several times. The pots are a good weight, heat evenly and quickly, and have so far presented no issues with cleanup at all.

The handles stay cool on the stovetop — obviously, not in the oven. The big stockpot has proved especially useful — it’s seems a perfect balance of width and depth, and the steamer insert has been getting a workout.

The selection of lids fitting multiple pots is convenient. The square pan has become my go-to dish for traybakes — since I’m usually cooking for one, I don’t really need something the size of a sheet pan, and this both heats and cleans up better.

Changes I might suggest: A small saucepan would have been nice, perhaps instead of one of the two large skillets. And I wish there were a lid for the medium skillet. But these don’t detract from what IS there, and the sale price made this a wonderful investment.

I LOVED these pans and used the big one nearly every day for eggs, stir-fries and main meals. I hand-washed always and was careful to only use wood and silicone utensils. In less than two years the finish became pock-marked and was coming off.

I sent photos to the All-Clad team about their so-called warranty and was told that it was only a manufacture defect if the finish came off “in sheets” and they could not control my use, so they would not replace it.

The customer service representative even told me that the finish could come off in as little as a few weeks depending on how you use it! I am a great home cook and was careful and thoughtful in my use of this pan to care for it appropriately.

I do not believe that expensive cookware should be essentially disposable, but after my interactions with the company, I heard a very different message from All-Clad, who seemed to not care if their product didn’t hold up to reasonable use.

I will not be purchasing from All-Clad again.

Good quality pan bu the looks of it. Nice weight – not too light nor too heavy. Nothing sticks to it so far when cooking with a swipe with oiled kitchen towel (ie minimal amount of oil). Surface looks like a speckled Teflon.

Not sure if its anything else but Teflon, but as long as nothing sticks to it and it lasts for a while – Im happy. Cant really tell about the longevity obviously as I only had it for a week or so. For the price and as a non stick pan: so far all is a-ok.

Just what Ive been looking for. It does everything it says in the box. Non stick easy clean. Superb

This really is non stick. Barely needs any oil. Cleans like a dream. Recommend the whole range.

It was to be my first housewarming gift to myself when I moved into my new house! The masterpieces I prepare with this set are immaculate! I’ve been using this set for about 3 months now and it still looks as new as it did the day I unboxed it! I have a couple of friends who swore by their Paula Deen cookware sets, but I think Rachel Ray has them beat.

I also love the color. I get so many compliments on my set. This set is definitely a winner and I am looking forward to purchasing all the other pieces to complete this collection!.

IšverstiShow in original languageI searched long and hard for a set that would have all the size pans I like. This was the only set of non stick I could find that wasn’t black. The color works beautifully in my kitchen.

I’ve only had it about 6 weeks but I find I can use less oil to fry/sauté. Note that the instructions say to NOT use spray oil like Pam, as it will ruin the nonstick finish. Clean up is a breeze. I’m following the suggestion in directions to towel dry instead of air dry overnight.

I was concerned about the handle bending cause of way it designed, but so far no issue. The pans are sturdy but not overly heavy, a concern I had due to arthritis. So far the handles have not gotten hot to touch, but I haven’t done any long items like beans.

My only two complaints are: the bottoms are super slick and slide on my glass cooktop. I just have to be careful when stirring. Also there is no lip on the top outside rim, so liquids drip down the side after pouring.

I have to have a rag handy to wipe the outside before setting back on the stove or counter. All and all, I’m pleased with my purchase.

IšverstiShow in original languageAfter a lot of research I took the plunge and bought these expensive pans (even on sale they were expensive!). I’ve been using them for a little over two months now and I am somewhat surprised to say they have exceeded even the highest expectations I could have had.

So much so that I felt compelled to write this review, which I normally wouldn’t bother doing. The pan itself and the coating looks incredible, it has a nice weight and feeling of quality, and to say that it’s “nonstick” is truly an understatement.

Even cooking scrambled eggs without oil is not an issue, it just literally slides right off. The pans get very hot (definitely follow instructions that say to only use medium heat!) and can even manage to sear things pretty decently, especially for a nonstick pan.

I was even more amazed when I burned something onto the bottom (outside) of the pan by mistake. The burn mark didn’t come out after a thorough wash and I was pretty bummed that I had already stained it.

Then I read that you can use a magic eraser on it. So I got a magic eraser (soaked with water and squeezed out as usual) and, very lightly to avoid causing any more damage, rubbed it over the stain. I was shocked that even the light touch I used literally erased the stain as if it had never been there.

This would be unthinkable with any other coating I’ve seen. These pans are amazing so far and are very much worth the money. I’m hoping that with good care the coating will last a long time. So, if you’re looking for the best nonstick pans money can buy, look no further.

IšverstiShow in original languageI don’t think I’ve ever been this excited about a pan!! First, it is heavy duty and it feels that way when you lift it up (bit heavy). It has one solid long handle on one side and a small loop handle on the other side to help support picking it up, which is really nice.

The color is beautiful and would look classy in any kitchen (if that’s a concern for you), as it looks very “high end” with the color and finishing. Now for performance- the “healthy” non-stick coating is incredible.

My first time using I left ground turkey in there longer than I should have without stirring. I fully expected some serious stick to the pan issues or burning but I couldn’t believe it when it easily scooped right up and flipped.

Eggs will slide around on it without oil. Only 2 uses in so I can’t comment much on long term quality, but so far? Extremely pleased and thinking of tossing all of my other pans. The cooking was also even and thorough.

I love these pots and pans. My wife and I were using rachel ray’s set for about 7 years. I had always heard that they can leach chemicals into food, which I didn’t like. But it was a turning point when I literally started to see black coating rub off into our food.

I said enough and started researching good/healthy materials to cook with. Found these and decided to take a leap, being impressed with the reviews, pictures and qualifications. I am so glad. They cook so clean and can hold heat very well.

Rice and grains like quinoa cook great and do not stick. Even pancakes slide right off and the pancakes turn out amazing. They are also a breeze to clean and can use soap or water. I am so happy, to me it’s a no brainer, for $40 you can buy a horrible quality set from wal-mart, but spend less than $100 more and you can feel confident in what you cook with.

I threw away all of our old pots and pans, except our cast iron collection, those are always good to have. Have even stopped using the cast-iron as much though. Great buy.

I purchased these to upgrade our cookware set my husband and I got for our wedding 4 years ago. Going from a cheap Target set of chipped (probably unsafe) pots and pans to THIS set was incredible. They are true to being nonstick and are also pretty to look at.

I’ve already received a couple compliments on their looks. I’d recommend carefully following the directions and oiling them before use. We choose to not put them in the dishwasher to keep them in the best shape possible.

Also, using wooden or soft utensils in them is a must. One of the handles on the largest pot came to us loose, thankfully it is a screw and my husband can tighten it himself. I would consider them high quality without being outrageously pricy.

“Just right” for our simple needs. I would recommend Carote.

Beautiful cookware. I love the aesthetic with the wood. The pots are very sturdy and hardy, I am not always gentle putting them on the stove but theres not been any damage or scratching. The nonstick works perfectly.

The variety of sizes is perfect for almost everything you need, I only wish there was a stock pot size included. You can do everything, cook steaks, make stir fry, pasta sauce, soup, curries. The only other pot you need is a large stock pot for boiling pasta or making broth, and cast iron/dutch oven for things that need to go in the oven since these pots cannot.

Overall I am extremely pleased with my set and I would recommend it to anyone, beginners, homecooks or professionals.

Cannot comment on long term but based on two weeks use I am hugely satisfied with the Professional Stainless Steel Saucepan Set I bought. The quality is evident, the pans are heavy and well made, and the professional (rather than non-stick) finish gives a great Maillard effect to all frying.

The lids for the pans fit great and the pans themselves stack well (but here is the only negative, they are not *perfectly* stackable). They work brilliantly on my induction hob (in fact they have almost single-handedly reversed my previous negative opinion on induction).

At roughly £140 for 4 pans I consider them excellent value. I would not hesitate to buy from procook again.

Purchased these elite saucepans after reading that they gave the best cooking exsperience. They look great However they took a age to bring water to the boil. My hob is Induction. I put half a litre of water in the elite pan and half a litre in my non elite stainless steel pan.

Result: Elite pan. 4 mins. 30secs. Stainless steel pan 2mins. 45secs. With the cost of electricity this is a massive difference. l would not have purchased These pans if I had had this information as I expected the elite pans to have a faster boiling point Very disappointed with purchase.

Attractive product but would not buy again. Described as professional, and made in our own factory. Like so many products that means mass produced in China. Heavy and the position of the handles make the pans awkward to control with a tendency for the weight distribution to take control.

Having paid a high price despite the sale, we will have to live with them. Overall disappointing. Style wins over function. Will look elsewhere in the future. The gift of a knife in the price was limited to what we already have as only one choice was available.

A discount would be preferable.

Oven-safe up to 400° F, the pan comes with a lifetime warranty. Detailed Test Results Cooking evenness: This model was very good at uniformly browning a pancake that covered the entire cooking surface.

We expect all cookware in this set to perform similarly for this and other food. Nonstick durability: This model was very good at withstanding up to 2,000 strokes using steel wool on the frypan’s surface.

This is done only on frypans with nonstick surfaces, simulating scraping with metal utensils and abrasive cleaners. This also predicts performance for other nonstick pieces in the set. Nonstick food release: This model was excellent in releasing multiple eggs from the frypan.

Four eggs are cooked in the frypan consecutively. The pan is initially seasoned with vegetable oil prior to cooking the first egg. An Excellent score indicates that all four eggs slid off the pan without assistance; A Poor score indicates that scraping was needed to release any egg from the pan and some egg residue was left on the pan.

Handle temperature: This set’s handles were excellent at keeping temperatures low enough to touch without a potholder when used on the stovetop. You’ll definitely need a potholder for sets scoring Fair or Poor.

We also consider the size and shape of the handle when scoring. Handle sturdiness: This set scored good for handle sturdiness, which gauges its resistance to bending or breaking under increasing force.

IšverstiShow in original languageThese pans got good reviews from the consumer magazine and online, but ours were a bust. We got a full set of these six months ago and they have failed. First, the bottoms bulge and do not stay flat making for uneven cooking.

Second, the black material covering the outside including the bottom rubs off in a black mess. Third, the non-stick coating has been an early casualty. Fourth, even the rubber handle won’t stay on, a hazard when moving a hot pan.

I wonder if there is a warranty? This poor quality is unlike Sam’s usually-fine materials.

IšverstiShow in original languageI’m an avid home hobbyist foodie / cook. I abuse nonstick. Cook over higher heat than recommended. Family uses metal utensils in them. So ya. And all the top chefs (and in my experience) say they need replacing every 3-4 years, so why buy super expensive? These were recommended by Consumer Reports, thus I found them.

This pan replaces a 12″ pan that I bought years ago. It performed beautifully but I beat it to death. I have two of the 8″ pans, one 10″ pan and one 14″ pan. Great pans for the price.

It’s not explicitly mentioned anywhere in the website. Even though it says it’s ptfe free pfoa is harmful when it’s heated in high temperature. Coming to me, I have used this pan very very carefully and never used any metal utensils even though it says it’s safe for doing so.

with just couple of months of usage the peeling started coming off a bit. It can easily go unnoticed because of the design. So if you’re looking for all green pan this is not it. But it’s natural to have pfoa coating on any non stick pan unless it’s mentioned not having.

Also you should be very careful with the coating and have an eye on any scratching or peeling. I bought it twice to see if am doing anything wrong but not giving any more chance.

I guess that old saying is true. You get what you pay for. The bottoms of our old pans seemed to “warp” over time and often wobbled on the glass surface of our flat top stove. When the food started to cook unevenly or the “nonstick” surface wore off, we’d go shopping for a new pan.

We had this problem no matter what brand we bought. Well, the Ballarini fry pan has broken that cycle. We have used it daily for several months now and I can truthfully say it is an amazing product! We cook with a variety of heat levels, with and without oil, and it performs beautifully every single time.

Nothing sticks and it is SO easy to clean up. It does take a tiny bit longer to heat up than my old pans, but that is a minor issue considering its overall quality and features. I highly recommend you buy this pan.

You won’t be disappointed.

IšverstiShow in original languageLove these fry pans stayed at a Wyndham resort property and this is the brand cookware they used came home from my vacation and immediately ordered two pieces. They clean up so easy it was unbelievable and the even cooking was an ease to use.

Will definitely be buying more pieces as I keep replacing the current brand I have that I thought was good until I started using Ballarini. Knowing at a resort people checking in and out year round using the same pans they had to be a great quality and they are indeed definitely no dissatisfaction or disappointment here.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis set has thought of everything you need for the kitchen! It comes with 11 pieces of cookware (see photo). The cookware is aluminum; the pieces have enough heft to them so that they feel sturdy and durable, but not so much heft that they feel too heavy to hold or pour from.

The handles also feel strong. They have nice rubber, heat-resistant grips on the ends so you can get a good grasp on the handle without burning yourself. Because of the rubber grips and the non-stick coating, these pots and pans cannot go into the oven, but don’t let that deter you from buying these.

My favorite thing- there are only two lids for the entire set. The lids are designed in such a way that they fit multiple pans/pots, making them an awesome option for someone with limited kitchen space.

The only thing I would change would be the utensils in the set. There are two flat spatulas (that look like fish spatulas) and a spoon, all of which are made of plastic. I wish the utensil set was all silicone, so that they could withstand higher heat without scratching off the nonstick coating.

I also wish it included a rubber spatula (scraper) in the set. Even so, this set deserves an A+. It’s great for a housewarming present, your kiddo’s first apartment, or even for the seasoned chef looking for a nice set of kitchen necessities!.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis Rachel Ray set is amazing. The pots and pans are he’s y duty but not too heavy. I love that one of the lids is universal and fits 3 different pots / pans. There is rubber around the edge of the lids to help seal them when being used.

They also have a vent hole, which is awesome. I love the variety of sizes that came in this set, it’s perfect to cook a meal for my small family. The non-stick coating seems to be great, so far. I don’t anticipate any issues wt it chipping or flaking as long as I use proper utensils.

Speaking of utensils, the ones that came with it are also great. The smaller spatula is perfect for the smaller skillet and the larger spatula is perfect for the larger skillet. Food cooks evenly in this set, which is SOOO important to me.

The baking sheet is on the smaller side but is still awesome. Over all, this is a wondful set!.

Love the spatulas and slotted spoon. You get two lids, one fits the stockpot and the other is universal and fits the frying pan and saucepans. Oven safe up to 400 F. Durable and quality made cookware.

Love the blue. Looks stylish and I am looking forward to showing off when I start to entertain again. It will stand out at potlucks. Easy to clean. I love to bake so the sheet pan is being used often.

No sticking of cookies. I am having a great time cooking with these premium aluminum pans that have made cooking easier and convenient. I highly recommend to those who want a durable, stylish and quality made cookware set that is fun to cook with.

TraduireAfficher dans la langue originaleI bought this pan six months ago to replace an older Calphalon pan that I had and was obsessed with. I had that one for 20 years. That one was heavier in weight and just felt like a better quality than this one.

However, so far it’s been doing a pretty good job and it’s nonstick properties are terrific. However, I use it on a glass top electric stove, which I hate enough as it is lol but it came with my apartment! And on the flat glass top, the pan does not sit flush.

It’s like the only part of the pan that actually touches the surface is the very, very absolute center. So the pan does not heat evenly as a result. I wish the bottom of the pan was not so curved. It doesn’t even look curved until you actually have it sitting on a flat surface and then you notice that it rocks.

If it weren’t for this, I think I would actually really love this pan! So if you are using it on a gas stove, you’ll love it.

TraduireAfficher dans la langue originaleI had a classic pan for years and when the surface started flaking I replaced it with a signature pan. That was about 4 years ago. I only use medium-high setting at most, have never used a dishwasher, have never used a metal utensil with it, and have found it helpful for stovetop to oven dishes.

Now parts of the surface are no longer nonstick and there even a few tiny scratches on the surface. I’ve cleaned it thoroughly and seasoned it as I do with my cast iron. Still no luck. I would have filed a warranty claim, but the updated website has lost my old account information.

It is a good product that I used frequently, but with the care I gave it and with the warranty, I expected it would still be performing like new. I probably will replace it, but I’m tempted to go with a less expensive product.

TraduireAfficher dans la langue originaleThese pans are supposed to be the top of the line, rated for use with metal utensils. Wife used the 8in very first time to make scrambled eggs (after all this is sold as an ‘omelet’ pan).

Used a metal coffee spoon to GENTLY swish and turn the eggs. Afterwards, noticeable knick in the bottom of the pan, deep enough to catch your finger nail. wasn’t there out of the box because I examined the pans closely to ensure no damage from shipping.

Attempted to return/replace, customer service insisted it was ‘shipping damage’ and I had to file claim through the shipper. My word against theirs that the knick wasn’t there till after first use. My wife and I are not novices, our previous set of Calphalon frying pans and pots we’ve used for 25 years, since being given them as wedding gifts, used EVERY day, as we like to cook.

IšverstiShow in original languageI bought this in April 2021 and now it is October 2021, and they are already wearing out. I have not once put them through the dishwasher (hand washed only), have always used plastic utensils in them, and read/followed all directions/recommendations in the manual.

Despite my good efforts to make them last as long as possible, the non-stick is chipping out and looking burnt, and the bottom of the midsized pot has paint flaking off already. I have a glass stovetop so I am not sure if that is the reason why.

Because of my glass top I never move my pots/pans back and forth in fear of scratching to stovetop. I also am disappointed in the curved pot structure because while making popcorn, they get stuck at the bottom.

So instead of being able to just dump out the popcorn to keep the kernels from burning, I have to have a wood spoon by my side to dig them out super fast after the loose ones dump out. The plastic spatula is not very helpful but the plastic spoon is very nice.

I do really like that and that is why I gave it 2 stars. I have not used the peeler and probably won’t as I now don’t trust it. I am not a chef; just a mom with 2 kiddos who cooks dinner almost every night.

It is also frustrating to see I spent $112 on the set where now it is only $80. Lame.

IšverstiShow in original languageFirst of all the color is beautiful in the orange a very happy color but, lost the sparkle even with hand washing which I was doing first but the more sparkle it lost I just started putting in the dishwasher.

I can live without sparkle. What I really did not like is how very thin the material these pots and pans are made. I do not cook on high heat but even on medium be very careful. I have another set of Rachael’s pots and pans and they are very old but I think I will go back to those.

Sorry Rachael these just do not cut it you have done so much better.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis is a fantastic frying pan. It’s light, non stick and so easy to use. The only downside is it can’t go in the dishwasher but it’s so quick and easy to clean it’s not a problem.

Avec le 5D, la cuisson est très uniforme et rapide. Très bon achat.

This is truly the absolute best set that I have ever purchased! I am completely confused as to why there are so many negative reviews, because that has not been my experience at all, quite the exact opposite actually! I have had this set for three weeks now and I cook multiple times a day and these pots/pans have been amazing and still look brand new and unfazed.

Not once have I had any issue with food sticking or burning, and there was a few moments where I was cooking at medium-high heat and walked off for a few minutes too long and ran back expecting it to be a burnt-stuck on mess, but nope, the food was not burnt or stuck on whatsoever and was in perfect condition.

any other pot/pan would’ve been a ruined nightmare! This set truly feels so sleek like an air-hockey table, even when you wash them it’s zero work, they clean fabulously with ease! Seriously, any gunk just slips right off! I absolutely recommend this set to anyone and everyone!.

Great for the first week, then terrible once you start using them more and washing them. They state dishwasher safe, olive oil spray safe, etc. then the non-stick capabilities quit working and they give you off label info for cleaning them with a magic eraser, which helps temporarily.

They then say you shouldn’t dishwasher, shouldn’t use non stick spray, etc. reached out to them multiple times about this and get the same “try this” “don’t do this” response and no help to refund me or replace with new pans(which I don’t want a replacement anyway).

So, they have lasted just under a year and the non stick is non functional and the outer coating is wearing off. I would NOT recommend these to anyone, regardless of trying to go “green” and avoid Teflon.

Stick (no pun intended) to a good Teflon set. Will hopefully get a claim filed and a refund at some point.

I have owned Green pans for about 6 years and loved them. But, my previous set was looking a bit sad so I ordered this newer set and I’m sooooo happy with them. The draining lids are such a helpful addition.

They’re completely nonstick and my crepes, eggs, etc. just slide right out. I was weary buying them given some negative reviews, but I can honestly say they are amazing! Just cook responsibly with them (don’t leave them on high for hours) and they’ll do great! I hand wash them as much as possible to help them last longer, but they’ve been in the dishwasher many times and still work great so don’t be afraid of the dishwasher if you’re tired of hand washing.
