20 Best Non Dairy Milk For Frothing Nespresso (2023 Updated)

I had this in my basket even though I actually don’t think I put it in there! Odd. but I drink soya vanilla in my coffee (and cereals) and so thought I’d try this anyway. First I tried it on its own to sample the flavour – and it really is nice.

It doesn’t have that ‘carboardy’ flavour that some alternative milks (especially unsweetened as this is) have. I did a mix of this with my soya vanilla (as I LOVE the sweetness and vanilla with my coffee) in my frother and it did froth well – and taste good – HOWEVER, as soon as I added chocolate powder, it was like adding talcum powder to bath bubbles, and the bubbles dispersed.

So I’m not sure I am swayed (can’t have my coffee without my sprinkles!) – though for baking and cereals, I think I’d enjoy it.

This was a freebie: I usually use fresh semi-skimmed, but am amenable to any product that tastes better than long life milk. Texture wise, this is vastly superior to the milk substitutes on sale a decade or more back.

Taste wise, however, it is sweet. I don’t think this would be a problem for those who have sugar or flavoured syrups in coffee, but for those of us who really dislike a lingering sweet flavour, I’m afraid it is not suitable.

Interestingly, there is no mention of other uses beyond adding to cereals, which suggests that it doesn’t work with savoury dishes.

By far my favourite oat milk brand. Its delicious, creamy and smooth. Goes well with tea and cereal. I’ve used it as a milk replacement in various recipes, and has worked a treat. Its also better value than most other premium brands like Rude Health.

The only reason I’m not giving it the full 5 stars is the packaging. Its not that robust and sometimes my deliveries contain damaged cartons.

It’s cold cereal season and I am using the Coconut Oatmilk on cereal for the first time. Been using it cooking for a while now. It has been a long tome since I have used fluid cow’s milk for anything, around 50 years.

Is it me or have your food technologists gotten really close to the flavor and texture of cow’s milk. I have lauded this product previously for the fact that there is no added sugar. There are other brands who claim this but do not print it on the required FDA label.

Why? Because it is a Federal crime to do so and would garner huge fines, but you can usually claim almost anything on a package label and get by with it. A side note about electronic digital distribution technology.

I notice that MOOALA was getting here really quick, once next day, always by second day. It just ain’t possible to do this coming from Texas or Canada. On the last order I finally noticed the shipping label; it seems that you use a distribution jobber who is located about sixty miles north of me.

I absolutely love Mooala drinks! I have a standing order of the variety pack every two weeks. I love the fact that these come shell stable and I can pop a few in the fridge the night before I’m ready to drink them.

I love the Oatmilk milk because it tastes delicious. I normally drink a glass of this in the morning with my pain meds. It really helps to coat my stomach so the pain meds don’t agitate my stomach lining AND it’s dairy free, which means bloat free! It’s also thirst quenching and satisfying.

Thank you for making us healthy guilt free drinks with barely any calories to count! I love it’s smooth texture and flavor! I definitely recommend it!.

There are added ingredients in other oat milks that we don’t want and that limits our selection quite a bit. This oat milk as been a keeper in our household for years, we’ve tried others and always come back to Elmhurst Barista Milked Oats.

Only drawback is it is a bit pricey so we try to stock up when it’s on sale. Thank you Healthy Planet for continuing to carry it.

I feel pretty deceived by all these great reviews. This stuff is okay when it can be well-masked with other flavors, but it’s pretty terrible on its own. I guess I should’ve expected an odd taste given that it’s pea milk, but absolutely no one mentioned the strange taste this has that I can’t describe.

it’s almost vegetable-y, but not exactly. My spouse says it tastes like nothing, but then again, he LOVES vegetables, so it probably does taste like nothing to him. Whereas that odd flavor sticks out like a sore thumb to me.

Anyway, it’s fine in oats; okay on cereal as long as the cereal is good enough to override it; sinfully terrible in tea; haven’t tried in coffee yet, but I imagine it’s just as bad; just barely drinkable on its own and leaves a bad aftertaste.

Do not be fooled by the “it’s close to regular milk” reviews. It’s not. I’ll give them credit that they got the mouthfeel and body pretty close, but that flavor. yick. I’m open-minded. I drink real milk and milk alternatives.

And this is one milk alternative that I will not buy again, unless I give the vanilla a shot.

I usually buy the kid version ripple for my toddler due to easier digestion. We loved that one a lot. During a travel the store was out of stock for what we usually have so I bought this one instead.

It is very sweet compared to the other ones. For fun drinks once in a while, I guess it’s okay. But if you are using this as an alternative of everyday milk for small kits, it tailors a dangerous sweet tooth.

I would not recommend this one for small ones.

Personal favorite, the flavor is an acquired taste, and I’d only recommend for people that need a dairy-free, no sugar option. Best substitute I’ve found so far for my hypoglycemic (low blood sugar) tendencies.

Pairs well when eating that rare chocolate treat. I go through 5 of these a month. Gets pricey, but worth it.

This milk is so good I have to leave a review. I’ve been transitioning from dairy due to breastfeeding. Before my baby was born I would tolerate the effects that dairy has on me, but due to the effects that it also has on my baby I have decided to try a plant based milk.

I’m not a fan of Almond milk, plus my 2 year old is allergic to nuts so I just don’t purchase. Coconut milk and oats makes me gassy. I did my research and found this brand of milk. I’m in love! I’m extremely surprised that this pea milk is so delicious.

I could drink it straight, something I wouldn’t even do with cows milk. 5 stars for this product. So far no gas from it, it’s been a day so we’ll see.

Ive never been a huge milk drinker. I bought it and it would go bad before I could use it. I tried almond, soy, and oat milks and never cared for the taste of them. There is one unsweetened oat milk sold in most stores I really enjoy.

But now I’m trying to watch my carbs. I bought 2 Ripple unsweetened milks on a whim and I love it. This comes as close to cows milk I have found. without the bad stuff. Now, if they would make this in an unsweetened shelf stable version, my life would be perfect.

I have used this product for about 4 years now. It’s taste really good doesn’t have a bad taste. I haven’t tried the chocolate;however, the unsweetened or the vanilla is good. I use it in smoothies and in my cereal.

I also use anywhere in a recipe that calls for milk. After the first two review that said it was just awful I knew I had to write an review. The only you don’t like if you don’t like milk in the first place.

I was given a code to try this Organic Oat Milk for free. We don’t usually buy oat milk so weren’t sure what it would be like but it is delicious for coffee, smooth, creamy and slightly sweet (although no sugar is added).

I didn’t try frothing it or anything fancy, just made a straight flat white. I would consider buying this as an alternative to our usual semi-skimmed goats milk. The packaging looks a bit odd, not sure what a bird costume has to do with oats but don’t let that put you off.

I am a vegan, and enjoy making lattes with microwaved oat milk and instant coffee powder. Hardly a coffee snob, but one step up from those latte packets (which also contain milk!) I enjoyed the taste of this- reminds me of the oat milk from avery famous chain of coffee shops named after the First Mate in a well know book about a big whale.

I’m sure you can work out what I mean! 🙂 I has a distinctive aftertaste, and I’d say is best suited to lattes. Notably different (in a good way) from other well know premium oat milks. Try it! :).

I am the mom of an almost 5 year old dairy free kid with a pediatric eating disorder (ARFID) who is doing GREAT- in huge part, thanks to Ripple Vanilla! We cut dairy from his diet 2 years ago and have never looked back.

My toddler has a dairy allergy and this has been our dairy substitute since they turned 1 years old-thank god for Ripple milk and this kid’s version that helps her get nutrients. As a baby, it took a few weeks of trying this to get used to a non-nursing option, but then they took to it and love it now.

I had been researching dairy free options before landing on pea milk and pea milk topped the list with it’s nutritional closeness to regular milk (over other substitutes). We have tasted it and it does have a closer consistency to milk than soy, oat, etc.

Target better not stop carrying this ever! It’s the whole reason we go to Target.

This is my favorite non dairy milk beverage. Looks like milk too, just with a thinner viscosity. Very nice and smooth it’s taste is pretty close to actual milk (maybe a bit sweeter). Great for your coffee.

I am a professional barista and we use this barista series soy all of the time. It tastes great and it foams so well. It makes great lattes and cappuccinos with nice dense small cell foam.

Tastes nice but curdled in my coffee, and not much flavour. Good in teas or smoothies but considering it’s called baristas blend and didn’t go well in coffee, not impressed!

I love this milk so much. I use it every day. For example I use it for breakfast when I decide to eat cereal. This organic almond plant-based beverage can be used by itself or I can be with another supplement.

If you were looking for another milk this is the milk to go. I am lactose intolerant but with this milk it doesn’t hurt my stomach as much.

The barista series almondmilk is wonderful! I was so happy when Biggby Coffee began to offer it. It is thick and creamy, the same texture as heavy cream, but without the dairy and added calories. It had a slightly sweet nutty flavor too which made my cold brew absolutely perfect!.

I love the almond milk especially to bake and coffee it does wonders when you use it to bake instead of using regular milk it gives it a squisite taste to the baking goods and to the coffee it’s just creamier Creamer I recommend it very much.

I love this product. When I first started to use nut milks in my coffee years ago, I experimented with all kinds and found cashew to be the creamiest and most delicious. I made my own until I discovered Elmhurst.

I’ve tried several brands of cashew milk, I’ve even made it fresh. This Elmhurst brand is by far the best there is. It has a very creamy but not too sweet taste, it’s chocked fill with vitamins and minerals and my cereal and fruit have never tasted so good.

I recently purchased this item after having tried it while visiting a relative. Yes, it may be considered an unnecessary, expensive and extravagant item for warming/frothing milk, but it is just a little something fun added to my ho-hum regular drip coffee routine in the morning.

(i do not own the Nespresso coffee maker). It is small, quiet, efficient and remains cool to the touch on the outside of the container when heating warm milk or milk froth; also capable of cold frothing.

It has performed well, and i would recommend to anyone wishing to start their day with a froth-filled cup of joe! : ).

I ordered this Nov. 2012. At that time, nowhere in the instructions, the manual or the online instructions, does Nespresso tell you to not store the Aeroccino on the base if the base stays plugged in.

Even if you handle this item with kid gloves and follow the instructions perfectly, if you keep your unit on a plugged-in base when not using it, within a very short period of time your Aeroccino will stop heating.

Nespresso customer service is excellent and attentive, but it is like pulling teeth getting their service to admit this in an email, which they finally did to me. As a reviewer on another site noted, this may be a clue as to the fragility of this expensive item.

When it is working, however, it is fabulous. The frothed milk is thick and lasts the duration of the beverage, not just for a few moments before it dissolves away. And the Nespresso unit itself is perfection.

I received an incentive coupon from Socialnature. com in exchange for my honest review. I tried Rise Nitro Cold Brew in black since it doesn’t have any calories like the flavored varieties do. I made a cold latte using Stevia and almond milk, and it was delicious.

I’m not a plain black coffee drinker, so tasting it plain left a slightly bitter aftertaste. This nitrogen infused brew was neither too strong nor too weak. I do wish the can listed how much caffeine was in the 7 ounce serving.

On the companies website you can buy a 12 pack for $35. That’s nearly $2. 90 for a 7 fl oz can. Bit pricey. There’s a widget at the bottom of the can, but my problem with the widget is that it’s larger than most widgets.

(I had to do research and a lot of measuring to discover this. ) At least it did its job. The drink was creamy and smooth with froth, but I get less product making it even pricier. Personally this drink did not taste that great.

Yes, the vanilla was delicious but the oat milk did not compliment it. Sadly it upset my stomach after drinking half of it. I did enjoy the products packaging. It has a sharp look to it. The name of the product doesn’t leave you wondering what it is.

And it smelt so good. If they made a spray or candle that smelt like this I would buy it.

So I decided to try the original oat milk one day when everything else was out of stock. and I THOUGHT IT WAS SO FREAKIN GOOD. Nice and creamy I could even taste the oats a lil! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! So anyways I buy another half gallon a few days later of the same exact kind (original) and let me tell you.

2 completely different products. The second gallon was super watery and just not tasty AT ALL even had a weird color. I ate a bowl of cereal with it anyways but dumped the rest of the jug. I don’t understand how the 2 different jugs could be so different.

After having that nasty bit I’m probably not going to buy this brand anymore. Makes me wonder what kind of standard they have because of how different the quality was. I’ll definitely be looking into other brands of oat milk though.

Something more reliable as far as standards go. I can’t gamble with my milk y’all buying this hit or miss product. I want some good quality oat milk.

Amazing density for recipes and everyday use if you miss the heaviness whole milk provides in your cooking. Yes, it has sunflower oil which, depending on the type used, is rich in linoleic (omega 6) and/or oleic acid.

And for anyone who I interested, here’s some more info … On the Up: Sunflower oil is low in saturated fat, promotes healthy skin/improves skin hydration, speeds wound healing and may even increase the rate of cell regeneration.

Sunflower oil gifts us with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and heart-healthy benefits. On the Down: Too much Omega 6s is already a problem faced by many Americans and this causes weight gain, heart problems and inflammation in the body.

So – if you’re not planning on guzzling the entire carton in a day or two, in my opinion this is still a million times better than all of the Downs for Dairy.

This oatmilk is fantastic. It is my favorite so far and I have tried Chobani, Oatly and Minor Figures. The creaminess is incredible. What isn’t fantastic though is people leaving reviews that aren’t relevant to the product.

Like those of you who are disgruntled about a bad delivery or substitution. Please stop. I personally take ratings seriously when purchasing a product and almost didn’t buy this because of it. I’m glad I checked the reviews to see that many of the “bad reviews” are just people who don’t actually understand what a product review is.
