20 Best Noise Cancelling Headphones For Autistic Child (2023 Updated)

Our daughter wears the headphones mainly for listening to audio books. And that is also possible for hours. The wearing comfort is great. Even with pigtails, the headphones fit without exerting uncomfortable pressure.

The headphones also don’t adjust themselves if you move. Folding the headphones almost completely together for transport is a great way to stow them in the backpack and leave enough space for other devices.

The ANC is not designed in such a way that you no longer notice anything. The ambient noise is slightly muffled. Our daughter likes that very much, because she doesn’t notice the raving / screaming of the siblings so much and can concentrate better on her audio book.

Both speakers were not an issue with my phone or my tablet and laptop, the only issue was the Skullcandy hesh evo headphones. Across all devices they were the same, devices only 2-4 feet separation non-existent volume and connectivity issues (or spotty or the headphones just failed I’m not sure because I can barely hear the output).

Here’s the worst part and the most glaring problem with this tho, this is the second pair. Exact same issue. They sit in a case when not being used, I listen to YouTube videos and put them back in the case when not in use.

Always follow correct charging and operating instructions and this is the second pair that has done this. I have always recommended skull candy to anyone discussing headphones as they have always been a budget friendly option that still produces good low end and I have been buying their wired earbuds for years.

After these Hesh evos I think I’m gonna buy from another company they don’t seem to make a good product anymore.

Bought these to replace my hesh 3s as they still worked but the plastic holding the speakers to the frame snapped after about 3 years of almost daily use. I am partly comparing these to the older Hesh 3, which overall I think functioned better than this “newer” Evo model.

Pros: Affordable Fits well Great sound quality. Cushioning fits around the whole ear nicely to stop noise leakage (so people don’t hear themselves echo when on calls unless you have volume turned up really high).

Provides sufficient (but not complete) noise cancelling – I think this is safer when out walking to still be able to hear outside noises. – Longer overall battery life, I can get multiple full day uses without charging which is awesome.

Cons: Automatically turns off when charging without saying anything (my older 3’s used to be able to listen & charge at the same time) Bluetooth connectivity to some devices is not as good & drops randomly (never was an issue with my 3s).

Still has the same cheap plastic, but has a 2 year warranty. The circle button at the top is for bluetooth pairing. This is annoying when trying to turn up on the headphones because it’s probably 1 of the least used buttons once you have it paired to your devices.

I always automatically go to the top button & then realize it’s actually the next button down.

I guess these are things that are very dependent on one’s preferences. I’ve been using mine for a month now. I personally have not owned over-the-ear wireless headphones prior to these ones, but I love them.

The sound of the headphones is very good but they look huge on my 7 year old son. After few days of buying them , we started experience problems. I bought these based on the reviews but not too happy with them.

We bought these for my 6yr old son to use on the airplane during our family travels. They worked perfectly! I didnt realize the headphones fold up which made it easier to store in the diaper bag/suitcase when not in use.

I LOVE the 2 option feature for connection. It comes with a bluetooth wireless option which you have to charge the headphones to use OR if you forgot to charge it like we did then there’s also an aux cord option as well.

He used both connection options with his Nintendo switch and his samasung tablet throughout our trips without any issues. The headphones are size adjustable and pretty comfortable to wear even for extended periods of time, or at least he didnt complain like hes done with other headphones.

They even work with his playstation. There are control buttons on the headphones but truthfully he didnt really use them much. This was the best $30 purchase ever! It was so nice to not hear the SAME MOVIE on repeat for all our flight/car travel time.

I decided to give these sound core life p2’s a try. I’m really satisfied with them so far (been using them now about two weeks and only using them so that I could really give them a fair test) they may not look like a whole lot but they pack a big punch! The case for them isn’t heavy but has a decent weight to them which makes them not feel cheap.

The ear pod themselves are nice and sleek and come with the different size ear pieces (I use the smallest ones) they stay in my ear really well so no issues there, they have amazing battery life and the sound is great! They are right up there with some of my higher end ones.

My only complaint probably would be (and this is a minor one that doesn’t make or break my decision on using them or reaching for them) is that when you first put them in your ear there is no sound like nothing telling you your connected, which I have gotten use to with a lot of my other ones, you get a sound when they start to die but only then.

Let me start off by saying I am by no means an audio professional. I don’t know the difference between bass or treble or anything. These earbuds are perfectly serviceable, especially for the price. The connected to my iPhone just fine, and worked throughout my workout.

This was my 3rd pair of these. They sound amazing and the noise cancelling is exceptional. The first pair lasted over 5 years but the last 8 months was 5 days a week while at work and the left ear piece broke off at the swizzle but I had dropped them a few times over the years.

Part of it is they don’t stay on my head if I look directly up or down/lean over. The second pair I got the right ear piece was a tad loose but I exchanged them for this pair and everything is great with them just like the original pair I bought.

I reached out to their customer support and never received any response. I ended up just giving them to my daughter to use to listen to music. The sound quality of the headphones was actually quite good, and my daughter has been using them for well over 2 weeks now and has yet to have to charge them.

I just bought these a few days ago and I am anxious to use them on my trip next week! They are very sleek (I have the rose gold) and love the fact they fold and have a great carrying case, quite sturdy and compact as much as possible.

They are a bit heavy (something I am not used to yet) although they fit very snug on/over the ears, which is a good thing, might need to remove the earrings when listening but they feel great. Pairing via Bluetooth was easy for all devices.

I purchased these headphones to use while washing dishes, doing computer work, etc. They arrived with some charge to them. They sounded fabulous and the noise cancelling was great. What is disappointing is that I have only gotten them to charge once since purchase.

One of the migraine symptoms is a sensitivity to noise. The “noise canceling technology” is helpful for buffering the noises so as that I can function. The headphones arrived with micro USB charging cable, but it did not include the USB charger that plugs into the outlet.

I did not have a problem with that, because I have extra USB chargers. Also includes a 3. 5mm cable for when the charge is low. The protective zipper travel case is a practical and elegant bonus. All the cables and headphones fit perfectly.

After being a fan of Bose Soundlink Wireless Headphones for a couple of years, I was looking forward to finding out how the MW50+ from Master & Dynamic fared in comparison and I have to say from the outset I wasn’t disappointed.

The slightly retro styling of the headphones in tan leather, aluminium and stainless steel both looks and feels really beautiful and as a result definitely separates these from their competition. They manage to feel both very secure and comfortable at the same time even after a couple of hours.

What also sets these headphones apart is the interchangeable on ear and over ear earpieces which are really easy to swap from one set to the other (in a matter of seconds) whilst at the same time still managing to feel very secure due to the strength of the magnets holding these in place once they are aligned.

Obviously looks aside, the sound quality of these headphones is great and in my view they deliver a really rich immersive sound with just the right amount of bass. From my perspective, the on ear earpieces definitely have the edge in terms of both sound and comfort but only slightly and to have a choice of the two different types of earpieces is a definite bonus.

From my experience of trying these for the first time, the Bluetooth connectivity was instantaneous and didn’t falter throughout a couple of hours of use and I found the charging time to be relatively quick.

The MW50+ definitely fall into the luxury item bracket but in my view they are more than worth it as they manage to succeed in delivering on all aspects of quality.
