Easy to mold. For the first couple of nights was uncomfortable. The only issues I have with device is in the morning my low jaw is forward and it’s take time to come back. Will not use this device. I’m not saying that this device won’t work for the others.

This is a much practical alternative than the one offered at the dentist office. I was advised to wear a mouth guard by my dentist but it is so expensive so I look for an alternative solution. After 1 night the little prongs you bite on got bent and twisted and squashed down. Pros: The size is pretty good for me and I have a small mouth. The cost seems reasonable.

Have been using these for years for mild teeth clenching. Given that this is a personal product, I use the same mouth guard “endlessly. ” A simple rinse in the morning is alI need and I just replace when I feel like it needs it – certainly not within 3 days.

Given that the multi-pack I have is still the tall blue package, I had to come on-line to see where I can find more now that I’ve moved and didn’t find in my local drug-store. Packaging changed but I assume the product has stayed the same.

Why did I wait so long???? I bought the cheapies that you boil and fit to your mouth (HA!) for years because I assumed there was very little difference. I was SO WRONG! This is the best dental mouthpiece I could ever hope for! I fits beautifully, non-irritating to my gums and my tongue, practically invisible so I can wear it on a “clench day” with being noticed.

The price was very reasonable, it was easy to fit the mold to my teeth, mail to J&S, and voila~it arrived and I will always buy from J&S from now on!.

When I first put it on, it feels a little tight along the front of my teeth. But I guess it has to be held on some way or another. Anyway, that tight feeling goes away within 5 minutes and I don’t feel it the rest of the night.

I’m not sure I’d do the front-cut option again, if I was ordering another one. Because it makes it so small in the front that it almost doesn’t stay on. But thankfully, it does – just barely – stay on.

All night long, too. So it still works. Just doesn’t feel too secure. Anyway, overall, despite these few minor concerns, I still love the product and the process. They shipped really fast and it’s a quality product!.

Guards do not fit; slide around my teeth. My fault. Making a good impression mold was quite difficult for me. I knew the guards would probably not fit well. I had dentist make two guards; one day and the other for night.

The cheap one from Amazon didn’t quite work rather made it worse so I was looking for something more legitimate and found JS dental.

I was thinking this is for my teeth and my body, why not spending a little more money to make my life easier. I placed order, got impression kit (instruction video was super helpful). In the middle of order, I changed my mind and ordered different one (Customer service was awesome, super fast response and friendly).

I have been buying from Encore for over two years now. I wear the hard night guard and I love it. The system they use for the customer to create their own impression is so simple and only takes a few minutes.

I use my night guard every day and am a pretty bad grinder. Mine lasts me more than a year. I recently had a situation where I had to deal with customer service. It was time for me to order a new one.

I ordered a new Encore night guard kit and everything came promptly. I followed the simple instructions, made my impression, sent my photos and then placed the impression inside the envelope and tent it with the outgoing mail.

About a week later, I received an email that the impression was not inside the envelope that got mailed to their business. This was troubling because I knew I sent it and now I was thinking about how many more days I would have to go without wearing a night guard.

Their customer service team sent me a new impression kit right away and I was able to redo the impression and send it off again. I now have my new hard encore night guard and I am set for another year and change.

For those of you on the fence about which guard to buy or think “hard” is not something you want on your teeth, I would just try it. For being “hard” it’s just more protective but it is still flexible and soft in your mouth.

Also, when you first put it on, it is normal for it to feel maybe too tight the first night. Just give it another night and that feeling goes away. You are going to love it and your partner won’t have to hear you grinding.

I love how comfortable it is. Costumer service was great also. The only issue is that after using it for a week, I already see damage. I doubt that it’s going to last a year. Before ordering the kit, I contacted customer service to make sure that I was getting the right product for my needs.

I normally use a retainer during the night and I was looking for a product that works as a retainer AND night guard. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work as a orthodontic retainer. So I ended up using both (old retainer and night guard) alternatively.

I don’t mind but it’s not ideal. Overall, this is a nice product for a great price!.

My experience has been unsatisfactory using this nightguard. The trays that came in the kit for the mold barely fit in my mouth, they didn’t have enough small options. When I got my night guard, I thought it looked ok.

However, after wearing it for a couple days, my mouth and jaw were so sore, I could hardly open my mouth or chew anything. I had to revert back to wearing my basic retainer I was given after I got my braces out, and I don’t use the encore guard anymore.

The guard didn’t fit my mouth and caused my bite to be off, so when I grinded my teeth at night, it really irritated my jaw and mouth. The whole reason I invested in this was to avoid the cost of a guard from the dentist, but I regret my purchase because the fit is so bad.

I wake up with pain that graduated to severe.The guard is so tight on the first UR molar that the pain became unbearable. I had to stop using it until further solution.

I wake up rested! I use to wake up so tired it was like I never slept. I’d wake up with one of my teeth being wiggle loose, I was terrified I was going to loose the sucker just because I grind my teeth and clench my jaw at night, how am I suppose to be able to stop myself clenching and grinding while I slept? I wasted so much money on night mouth guards.

I had used other mouth guards, the boil and bite one worked ok, that was until I got an extraction and braces. Then I got those disposable bite guards after the braces, those were a joke! Made me clench harder, even loosened my tooth up way more than without the darn thing! This one WORKS! I can form it over my braces, its not bite fitted so my teeth can still move how they need to with the braces, but I can make a firm but comfortable little helmet over my tooth that gets knocked loose by my top teeth grinding usually.

Its not bite fitted but it stays in place better, without all the bite form pressures! I can not say it enough, I love this mouth guard! I honestly believe it has helped me save one of my teeth from my own destructive grinding and clenching, and helps me actually get a great nights sleep.

I wear this and sleep on my back instead of my side (i found sleeping on my side makes me clench and grind) and take gaba and magnesium before bed (both are natural muscle relaxers), I firmly believe it is all of these steps that help my particular situation, which is a weird one, loose teeth, braces, night grinding and clenching, I had to share for anyone whos suffering from anything similar.

The Lunaguard is easy to form, but may take two or three tries (or more) before it fits exactly as you like. But it is designed exactly for that possibility, and can be formed and re-formed numerous times.

I have had several expensive nightguards made by dentists, but I was unable to wear any of them. The Lunaguard can be formed to fit either the upper teeth or the lower teeth. I chose the lower teeth because I have a slight overbite.

Every dentist that has ever made a nightguard for me always made it to fit onto my upper teeth. This was never comfortable, and I always woke up with my bite terribly off. But not so with the Lunaguard.

This mouthguard did not work for me. It didn’t mold correctly . I attempted three times. I followed the instructions. I have large teeth. It doesn’t stay on. I am out the $$ I paid.

I have ordered 4 of these (separate impressions) over the past 4 years. Two were perfect and two had to be worn for a month or so before feeling really comfortable. The difference between the two sets is in the impressions.

The last purchase I ruined the impression twice before a knowledgeable Encore technician told me to push the silicone impression gently but uniformly onto the teeth. Other hints. Be sure to give the silicon the full 45 second setting before putting it in your mouth, it has to be hardening enough to make an impression that does not shift when you take it out of your mouth.

It helps to practice first with only the plastic holder in your mouth to test your gag reflex and get used to it. If you are are a Cpap user wear your mask as it makes it easier to breath. For a first time user I would recommend the soft fitting.

Don’t be afraid to call the help line.

So. I’ll start by saying that I was really skeptical and quite nervous to order this. I realized about 2 years ago that I was clenching my teeth when I sleep. I bought several over the counter mouth guards.

I could never find one that I truly liked and definitely not one that was comfortable. I had like six of them by the side of my bed to pick from when I went to bed at night. I went to the dentist in October, 2021 and found out that I had four teeth that had to be fixed!!!! One was a legit cavity but the other three were from cracking because of the clenching.

Ugh I was so upset. They recommended a real mouth guard and quoted me $600!!! I thought no way was I going to spend that much money and not even know if I was going to like it or even wear it. But I knew I had to do something.

So I scoured the internet and found encore, and several others, but I liked the price and how easy the website was to use. So, I ordered it. I got the package to make the mold. I put it off for a few days, cause I was nervous about the process and if I would screw it up and not have it fit right.

But when I did it, I was surprised at how easy it was to do. I followed the directions and watched the video several times. I sent the picture to them and they said it looked good. It took about a week to get it back.

but when I got it, it fit perfect!!! I can tell you that I was absolutely amazed! and it is comfortable too!! I’m not discouraged to put it in my mouth at night, I know I will have a good night sleep with it in and it protects my teeth.

I got the soft one because I wanted it as comfortable as possible and since I don’t grind my teeth I figured that I wouldn’t chew through it. I am so happy that I pursued this. I feel that since I’m not stressed about my clenching and ruining my teeth when I go to bed at night, that maybe I will actually, eventually stop clenching!! I started using mine on 3-9-22, so its been a few weeks and I cant tell you how I wish I had done this sooner.

I recently ordered my second guard from night guard. I was so thrilled with the first one that I wanted a second one to keep at my vacation cottage. Because I never want to be without it!!! Night guards are excellent.

The process is simple? The cost is reasonable, as opposed to having this done by my dentist. And boy do they work. There were times I used to wake my husband up with my tooth grinding. I can now go to sleep feeling secure that I’m not wearing my choppers out from friction.

These were really comfortable with the back cut and I thought this would work well for me. Unfortunately over time, this night guard pushed my teeth forward and shifted it which created gaps. In order to fix the issue, I had to spend more money to buy a retainer to shift my teeth back to it’s original position.

Because this happened over time, when I reached out to customer service, they said it was past my warranty and wouldn’t even reimburse me for the amount I paid for the retainer. I have a night guard I no longer use and had to spend additional for a retainer to correct the gaps this product created.

Be careful because this can shift your teeth!.

Asked for a refund. Tried 6 times for a “good” mold. It is not as easy as they make it seem. When you increase the size of the tray, it is too hard to insert it into your mouth, the tray goes back to its original size and you get a bad mold.

It is an excellent idea and wished it worked. You get “canned” responses instead of real help when you have issues. It would be nice if they had real customer service. We will be having it done at the dentist.

I’ve been playing basketball with this mouthguard for over a year now, and let me tell you that this is the best mouthguard I’ve tried. It is extremely confortable and very snug. Sometimes I even forget that I am wearing a mouthguard! I feel very safe everytime I play with these.

Excellent item, I read over the company website before deciding to purchase this brand. Boil & bite means you fit it to your mouth: perfectly. I re-heated the piece 4-5 times (you can do that up to 20) before I got a fit I liked.

The last 2 times I just heated the front part, to loosen it up. At first I was using a borrowed cheese thermometer and a pan of water on the stove but then discovered I could just run water through my coffee maker, and that temperature worked fine.

I fall asleep easily, I don’t even know its there. My bottom teeth hit the back of the top teeth so my dentist recommended a night guard, just in case. I don’t have bruxism so I cannot comment on how it can take a chomping, but it seems to be super super strong.

Yet thin! I like it that it has ventilation, as I drink water at night, and the ventilation makes it easy to drink water. Cleanup is easy, I wash it each morning with warm water and soap like the directions indicate.

Tastes fine, no taste at all that I notice. Can use it right out of the box.

I have tried numerous night guards for teeth grinding and this one is perfect! I really like the night guard, it helps with my teeth grinding and clenching and has helped my jaw relax a lot. I was a huge sufferer from headaches and this has helped my headaches to completely stop! The only thing I don’t like is there was a bit of extra molding on mouth guard I feel could’ve been cut off that makes it feel a little bit bulkier than I would like.

Fits a little lower on the front teeth but securely fits the molars. A much better price than the dentist night guard but after one night of wear I can’t say much yet. It stayed in all night so I’m hopeful for the future wear!!.

This pack comes as a pack of 4, two large and two small. The smaller of the sizes would suit a child but is also the perfect size for the lower teeth which is what I needed. The quality is superb, much better than I expected tbh.

I’ve had both the dentist mouth guard and now this. Time2sleep is equally good. I messed up with making the first one though, as it got quite sticky and misshaped so I wasted it but got the hang of it with the second one.
