Best Nexus 5X Screen Protector (2024 Updated)

The instructions were very clear and it was easy to apply, so no complaints there. I did notice that the instructions said to buff away any left over residue for a nice shine. I let the product cure for one hour without touching the screen and I found the reside to be very smudgy.

However, I used my regular spray cleaner and the smudges did come right off and the screen did shine very nicely. I should have read the warranty registry instructions first, because I put my phone back into its case before taking the necessary video, but it was no big deal to take it out again.

I reached out to customer service for a quick question and they answered me within HOURS! Which was very shocking, did not expect them to be that fast. So far, I don’t have a single complaint, and I plan to purchase this again when the warranty runs out.

I have had my phone since October and have been so disgusted by glass screen protectors, expensive and a warranty right?? Well 3 replacements later and it starts coming off after a few weeks. I’m an IT professional, I applied 1 of them, the second one, I should be capable, but the first one was applied at the cell phone store where purchased, by “a seasoned pro” and the third one by a friend who fixes cell phones.

All fall off. BS. And all have had at least 1 little bubble and distorted the screen. Now, after applying Liquid Ceramic I am already head over heels for this product. I have a warranty just in case blah blah blah, but it was the easiest application ever, I have done the research and know how scientifically it is so much stronger now, and unlikely to break or scratch.

But the thing that is why I’m head over heels. it’s as clear as the day I got the phone. It is how these phones were meant to be used. Liquid Ceramic is reasonably priced, gives me the price of mind that the phone is safe, and above all gives me the functionality the phone is supposed to have!! Unbeatable!!.

It was easy to apply to multiple devices. However, it is difficult to tell if it is actually protecting the screens of my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ as there does not appear to be any noticable different.

Maybe someone with a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer laying around can test their screen before and after applying it to see if there truly is a difference. 😁 ***UPDATE*** I set my Galaxy Z Fold3 on my tablet and didn’t notice it slowly sliding off and then it dropped 2 feet, and the Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus™ {outer screen} with this Ultra Armor Liquid Glass Screen Protector thoroughly applied to it as directed a couple months ago still shattered and cracked, so it appears to have done nothing.

I was very intimidated by this item, I have to be honest. I went back and forth between this, and the regular press-on screen covers that I have used my whole life. What sold me on this product, was that it actually covered if the screen becomes completely damaged due to product failure.

There is NO other screen protector that offers such confidence! It was extremely easy to apply. The step by step directions are clearly written, and easy to understand. Within 45 minutes, my phone was transformed.

The screen recognizes my fingerprint better than it did with the press-on protector, and my fingers glide like butter on a hot stove. The screen was not even slightly scratched by the zipper on my purse (which used to scratch my previous protector every day).

I am very impressed by this, and will NEVER go back to the old method. I even put the ceramic on my camera lense, and my photos are so crystal clear! 10/10 for me!.

We have used this product for 2 phones and 2 smart watches when new in 2019 with reapplication in 2020 and just now in 2021. We haven’t has any scratches or cracks in our screens. We use one product for all 3 devices.

Easy to apply, looks great. Comes with a warranty. A little hard to register it, but overall a good value.

This stuff doesn’t work, I applied it as per directions on back of package and my screen still attracts dust and finger smudges and doesn’t bead water any better than before I applied this liquid nano protector, in fact, it’s actually worse.

I purchased this because of those so called claims do to my oleophobic coating being worn off my screen and didn’t want to order from Japan. Don’t waste your money, if it sounds to good to be true, then there’s 98% chance that it is.

Let’s see if eBay posts this negative review after I changed it a little bit, or if they keep it hidden.

Great product. Easy to install. Fits any screen. Dries clear. One tube covered my 10 inch tablet. I’ll buy this again.

Used this product to a T, exactly how they said to use it. Not a week later, I noticed new cracks forming on my LG K51. Really couldn’t tell whether or not it had actually done anything at all, it’s not like it leaves the screen feeling firmer or better or anything.

Absolutely would not buy again, just get a regular screen protector.

I am very pleased with the ZAGG screen protector. It fits very well and provides protection across the entire screen. When paired with the OtterBox Defender Pro case on my Google Pixel 5 phone, I have every confidence my phone is well protected.

This ZAGG screen protector doesn’t seem to interfere with the touch screen response very much, but the Android 11 operating system does have a setting to raise the screen touch sensitivity if that becomes an issue.

ZAGG and Best Buy probably offer the best warranty in the industry, although the screen protector is pricey. I had the Geek Squad install the screen protector, and they did an awesome job.

Product is decent. It does do its job. I had my phone fall on it screen and this saved my phone. Best buy didn’t have one in store so it took a week to get my new one The screen protector doesn’t go to the screens edges.

And the ends are sharps. This makes using full screen gestures incredibly annoying. My new protector ended up breaking again within a day of putting it in. A hair got underneath (and dust collects around the edges, also annoying) and while trying to press the air out it cracked.

I’ve since decided to stop using this brand and have no protector on, and debating putting a different one on that will go to the edges.

Arguably the most expensive screen protector I’ve purchased with, comparatively, the worst quality. Beginnings of a long, vertical crack developed from the bottom middle, where I swipe up from my Pixel 5, after only a day of use.

Other small scratches appearing with no explanation at random location, causing me to worry about overall integrity of the glass. Normally, I purchase the cheap screen protectors available on Amazon and have never had any issues like this.

Sometimes, a higher price doesn’t mean a better quality, it seems.

Especially useful for phones with curved screens that aren’t compatible with traditional screen protectors. This is my second phone using the nano screen protector and I am very pleased with the durability of this product!.

Put this on my new s8+ and my husband’s LG g6. We were also able to get my daughters g5 and our 10. 1″ tablet. There is plenty on the towellette for more than one device. Been using my phone for 3 weeks since applying and not a scratch.

Leaves the screen super shiny and doesn’t even feel like there is anything on it. I’m careful with my phone but not super careful so I’m pretty impressed.

I previously had a glass screen protector and it didnt stick properly and the fingerprint reader wouldnt work. so despite mixed reviews I decided to try this. Th first one was a complete waste of time, you might as well just count it as a practice run.

Its quite difficult to get it smooth and the first one was just full of bubbles. That said, the second attempt was much better. I cant say its perfect, but its good enough. Its very thin, but once its on, it offers good protection from scratches.

The fingerprint reader work perfectly, in fact it works better than it did with no screen protector! Would I buy it again?. Yes, I think I would.

I don’t like to buy from that big online retail site, I think they represent virtually every problem with big business from A to Z, so it’s been difficult finding a screen protector for my Velvet. The last one I tried to accessorize with on the cheap from another store that’s filled wall-to-wall with compromise started peeling in the corner within days.

I guess you get what you pay for, though. Delivery time for this one wasn’t what one of those sites could offer, but it definitely fell within the estimate they gave me on ordering. It’s been good so far, I’ve had it on a couple weeks with little issue.

I’m not sure if it’s the protector or just my phone, but some parts of the screen seem less sensitive than others. I’d increase the sensitivity, but other parts of the screen seem to respond normally and I already hear it tapping messages when it’s just loosely against my sweater.

Application was easy and there was no bubbling under the surface almost immediately. It also works without a problem with my phone case, there’s no overlap or rubbing going on between the two.

I checked out the recommended instructional videos as well as many others and none of the videos fit exactly what was delivered to me. I’m not totally inept at figuring things out but the initial peeling process was totally different in the kit I received.

Had to mostly figure it out for myself and botched the first go trying to still use the instructional videos method (good thing there are two in a pack. ) Film sticks well along the phones curved edges, no issues with thumbprint reading.

But film also covers front camera which I do believe has affected camera quality. Not happy with the purchase and am going to get a screen protector from elsewhere.

The tempered glass sheet was so easy to apply perfectly. It comes with everything you need and at a great price. I’ve paid $30 for tempered glass screen covers similar to this in the past, but all you got was one sheet of tempered glass.

This not only comes as a full kit (alcohol pads, drying pads, and dusting pads), you get three sheets. All for under $10!!!.

This is one of the best screen protector ever had. Very easy to install! You just put it on the glass and it sucks itself onto the glass with no air bubbles. The protector itself is incredibly smooth and great to use.

Goes on easy and usually pretty seem less when on the phone. Covers the entire screen well.

In the end, there are no bubbles, and this screen protector works very well and looks very nice. I didn’t notice any reduction in the sensitivity of the touch screen. I think that it actually cleans up easier than the glass did.

I got this to protect an already badly cracked display. I will say that the instructions are a bit long and tedious but it is actually quite easy to put on. At first, I was a bit horrified the first day after waiting overnight, because I did the “wet” install and was careful to get all the bubbles out, but there were bubbles the next day.

Interestingly, they eventually all went away though without having to squeeze them out. And, now it looks and fits perfectly. So, if you get some bubbles after installation, don’t panic because for me they seemed to eventually escape out.

If you want a glass screen protector this is not your choice. This screen protector is more like TAPE. I applied this to my phone and look what you know so much rainbow dots and when I turn off the phone so much bubbles.

I can’t believe I wasted my money on this not recommended!.

This product does protect. It will break if hit but your lens does not crack. And the best part is the Gadget Guard is replaced free if you break it.

This is a 3 pack of screen protector! Don’t know why anyone needs so much, but its price is great! Installation is super easy! It comes with a frame that can be snapped onto the outside of the phone, so all you need to do is to make sure that there is no stray dust on the screen, remove the sticky cover, and then drop into the edge (I started from the top of the camera).

Tap a part of the screen to start bonding, and watch the air squeeze out. Honestly, ensuring that the screen is clean is the hardest part. It is also equipped with 3x wet wipes, 3x dry wipes and 3 dustproof stickers to remove stray dust.

If you let the edges touch, the dust sticker will leave a little residue, so I rolled it up a bit (grab the two sides) and used the center to spot the stray particles. It feels good and smooth to the touch.

I like it my phone has fallen. I think the glass has a 2 cracks. I am not sure since I left the film over the glass to allow for more protection. Depending on how the light hits the screen I can see the crack.

I can see a slight chip where two lines meet. I am, however, able to work on my phone use the screen without disruption. I really like this protection.

We bought this screen protector window for our new Samsung smart phone. It is a substantial barrier. It was easy to install using the directions. It fits snugly against the phones face. We expect it to last for several years.

Purchased this screen protector with lifetime warranty, but it cracked before 2 months of wear! Was unable to get replacement as the company was out of stock indefinitely! What a bummer when you get a warranty for a product that you can no longer find!.

It’s a nice tempered glass screen protector, fits the ZTE Z982 perfectly, lights at the bottom align and show nicely. Only downside is that it’s a fingerprint magnet. The original Gorilla glass hardly shows any prints, this shows them like crazy.

Not a problem when the phone is being used, but looks like hell when it’s off. I needed this because I cracked the original, two year old screen. This definitely makes it way better, the cracks are now barely visible.

I ordered some liquid nano screen stuff to see if it will help with the fingerprints. Too bad they can’t put a good oleophobic coating on the tempered glass.

This item was late even though I only live about 20-30minutes away first of all, second of all it’s way too thick. Everytime I tried to unlock or simply text it wouldn’t respond unless I pressed on the screen really hard which in my opinion it seemed as if I was going to crack my screen.

I wouldn’t invest my money or time in this item ever again.

I choose to have the screen protector installed by store personnel. So, there’s nothing to comment except I recommend that choice. The screen is absolutely clear and a perfect fit. It also allows precise and accurate touch control.

I have previously used Zagg screen protectors yet believe that this SaharaCase screen protector is just as good.

It does the job in protecting the Surface screen. First shipment came in damaged. For the second, I had the Geek Squad install, but they couldn’t get bubbles out of the top two corners and around the camera.

Have this on my previous Surface device. I dropped my device several times before and think this extra film did protect the screen.

When I find a product that deserves praise, I like to do such. I’ve been through many screen protectors throughout my time with my devices, and so I decided to give the insignia brand version a try. and I’m so satisfied.

the application process is so swift and so smooth. the included tools and the little tray for your device is superb. I would get nervous in the past about applying screen protectors, but when applying the insignia version everything went so smooth I didn’t even think about it lol.

Purchased these for my new iPhone 12 mini, and the quality is excellent. In the past with previous phones, I’ve just purchased cheap tempered glass screen protectors off Amazon. These are more expensive, but are better quality than what I’ve gotten for less.

They have a oleophobic coating, so they don’t get excessively coated in fingerprints. They’re also very scratch resistant. The cheaper ones were literally just tempered glass with no coating—and doing touch gestures on those was worse, because your fingers would grip the glass.

I should also note, I haven’t experienced any loss of sensitivity in the screen. It’s very unobtrusive. It does not cover the Face ID sensor, though that is understandable as covering the sensor could cause issues with Face ID.

After using one for a few months, it has obviously picked up some small hairline scratches, but nothing crazy. Quality is excellent and price is good. Installation was easy, and you’re provided with everything you need.

My old Samsung literally fell apart. I got a cheap, temporary replacement phone. This product was close in size to what I needed, and on sale cheap. I expected the peel off flexible plastic sheet, but this was a solid, hard plastic covering.

It is just about perfect. Very clear, works well and looks like it would last the life of the phone. No bubbles to work out as with the cheap flexible sheets. I will buy this brand when I get my permanent phone.

Came with a VERY easy and convenient way to apply screen protector. I have never more satisfied and happy with a screen protector in my life. I have bought plenty of screen protectors and this is by far the absolute BEST one I have bought.

I ordered this as a screen protector replacement for my One +8 phone. the language was confusing as it advertised it as though it would fit. it doesn’t actually fit, made for an Iphone, with cutouts in places not meant for my phone.

The Size was close enough and since my prior protector was trashed and I had already paid for it, I gave it a try. The flimsy film protector took a long time to adhere with the soapy water and where the screen is curved it has lifted up on the edges with air bubbles after only a week.

Virtually impossible to put phone case back on without lifting the screen protector edges on the curve. I wouldn’t recommend this product for One Plus phones. I’ll look more closely before ordering something like this again.

This product is not what I was hoping for.

Installation was decently easy with no major hiccups or challenges but still wet installations comparatively aren’t as easy — the Spigen Glas. tR EZ Fit tempered glass installation on another phone I have was ridiculously easy.

Post installation the film looks holds well, there aren’t any bubbles, and has good clarity but finger prints can be seen depending on the lighting — a difference in comparison to tempered glass which resists fingerprints.

No issues with touch screen responsiveness though friction might be a little more than desired. I have dry skin so I find tempered glass too slippery and prefer film. Lastly, I can’t speak to long term durability yet but if any durability issues arise, I will come back and update this post.

Quick and easy application! I will state here what I didn’t realize at the time of purchase, these are wet application protectors. I didn’t realize they were which is on me but luckily I have used this style of screen protector before and knew what to do.

By wet style I am referring to the requirement of wetting the protector to apply it rather than a “sticker” style application. It makes it easier to adjust the protector which is always beneficial. ??????.

The glass protector fits my phone perfectly. So far, I have no problem with it. I just got it and my new phone last week so, so far so good.
