20 Best Neutral Eyeshadow Palette For Blue Eyes (2023 Updated)

The removal of Naked and Naked2–wildly more representative and diverse palettes in a collection that served a whole spectrum of people and colors—was flat out a terrible move. The novelty options that have popped up in replacement are either so niche and/or poor quality formula they’re not even fun little detours, let alone anything like a replacement.

The lack of the colors from the discontinued palettes as singles is made worse by the fact that the single eyeshadows available have suffered a formula and packaging change that’s wrong on every possible way.

My first non-drugstore makeup when I was maybe 12 was a UD eyeshadow. I loved it, and the brand, for over a decade. These moves, ever since the original Naked was taken down (and replaced with lesser shades, poorer texture AND no brush?!), have made the beans not only inaccessible, but just…sad.

It would be lovely if you’d reassess what your customers actually want. The one good thing to say about this is the palette is that the one I got still had the old formula and went on smooth. I don’t think newer ones do from places like Sephora, so that’s likely out the door soon (or else, I’d suspect).

The colors are so PINK and similar across the board it doesn’t provide for hood blends or contrasts, no artistry. Nothing that used to make Urban Decay…Urban Decay. I wish THAT brand would make a comeback.

Very affordable and very convenient to purchase from any beauty store. The pigmentation varies due to skin combination. And that goes for wearing usage too. It depends on skin porosity and texture. I say use at your convenience and interested as well.

I love this all day wear powder shadow! It performs so well on the skin and I always get such good results when I use this! They are such pretty colors and they look gorgeous on the skin. I recommend it to all my friend and would recommend it to anyone who asked for a great liquid liner!.

I like these mini three color pallettes. They have the colors already put together so you already have an eye look made up for you. The colors are very pigmented and smooth. There isn’t much fallout at all.

I do recommend this for people who want to make simple looks.

This is a gorgeous palette with gold and bronze tones, which contains a nice range of shades that can be worn everyday. It contains three metallics and one shimmer, with a good amount of pigmentation.

There is a nice selection of lighter and darker tones to create a range of looks. The formula is creamy and blends out nicely. The shades are mostly in the gold and bronze range, and all are brand new (not duplicated in Aether’s larger palettes).

There are a couple of shades that have some similarities to the Summer Solstice palette, but it’s still pretty different. I own all of Aether Beauty’s palettes so far and I love how these mini palettes are half the price, and contain a very wearable, edited selection.

If someone wanted to get into clean beauty, I would recommend something like this or the Ametrine palette because they are so easy to use. The only thing to keep in mind is that they do lean more towards more everyday tones, so if you mostly wear professional or softer looks it’s a fantastic selection.

If you do a lot of very bright or dark looks, this might not be the best fit for you. I’d highly recommend this! It’s a great price point for a very wearable palette from a fantastic company. With Aether, you support a small business that takes great care in how their products are produced – the paper palette is recyclable, for example, and they put a lot of care into the sourcing of their mica and other ingredients.

I was gifted this product by the company with no obligation, but to be honest I probably would’ve bought this anyway because I like their products so much. It’s a great palette, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it sells out soon!.

In my opinion, this doesn’t seem warm toned. In the palette it does look warm but once it’s actually on, it looks more neutral. I also find that the colours don’t go well together. It could just be that it doesn’t look good on my skin tone (I’m neutral fair) but when I try to blend them together it just looks off.

Also, I know it’s a small palette, but you can’t get multiple looks from this at all (in my opinion). I’ve had small palettes before that gave me a lot of variety but I haven’t been able to create multiple looks with this one.

On the plus side, the formula itself is really nice (reminds me a lot of Colourpop) and it blends well. I just don’t like the colour combination. For the price, I don’t think this is worth it at all.

I absolutely LOVE this palette! I know the colors may not be for everyone or for everyday wear, but I just adore it love the color scheme! I use this palette all the time, even for a neutral look, but I do have to tap into another palette to help! But it’s VERY EASY to create gorgeous everyday evening looks with this palette! LOVE THIS SOSOSOSOSO MUCH! Every other person hates the cream-to-powder formula, but I think it’s because they don’t use it with their fingers. This palette is my go to because I use her c2p as a base (they are also beautiful by themselves) and I feel they help prevent creasing! I love her shimmer formula, but whenever I pick this up, it’s for those as a base which should say a lot because I usually only pick up a palette for a shimmer since I don’t always have the time for brushes.

If any shade gets the most hate, it’s probably “tor” due to it not showing up on certain skin tones, but any video that had that complaint was using a brush for application and didn’t like using the finger approach.

Personally, it’s my FAVORITE shade!!!! It’s such a beautiful gray that can be so versatile because it can be warmer or cooler depending on the shade that you throw on it. I haven’t had a chance yet to try my favorite shade from the Bronze palette, ‘rhodium,’ but I just have a feeling that I will just love it! I paired it with the shade “Meteor” from Lunar Beauty’s ‘Eternal Eclipse’ and it was just perfect, as well when I also paired it with a couple shades from Glamlite’s ‘Chocolate Donut!’ If you are into taupe, or the shades that are like a warm-purple-gray vibe, then “tor” it just for you!.

Overall, this is a well executed and convenient palette concept. I like how wearable and well thought-out the color story is — often with ND palettes, the color stories are a little redundant. But here, you can get warm, cool, and neutral glam looks from this same midi-palette, so it’s a great price for what you get.

That said, I think the labels on the palette — while they initially seem helpful — end up creating some disappointment. Some of the “outer eye lid” shades lack the pigment that I’d expect for a shade that I’m putting there.

In other words, I’d be happy with the color in general but not for where I’m told to place it. As odd as it sounds, that leads to a disappointing experience at first. So I’d recommend pretending like the names aren’t there and simply using the colors as you see fit based on how much pigment they actually have.

Lastly, some of the shades look a little more metallic in the pan than they show up on the eyelid, which was disappointing for me because the palette doesn’t add as much “glam” as I’d like, and I end up dipping into my Pat McGrath palettes for that extra sparkle.

Other than that, this is a solid effort and would be a great palette for easy day-to-night looks or traveling.

The Good: I own two of these palettes the neutral mattes and the warm mattes and I cannot (yet) speak for the quality/efficiency of the metallics or the satins. Therefore, this review is only for the mattes.

These shades have the best quality I have ever experienced: buttery, luxurious, so easily blendable. Somehow Viseart found a way to crack the ultimate wants for a matte eyeshadow that seems almost impossible to achieve: buildable coverage with high pigmentation pay off.

I’ve owned both of these palettes for a while and whenever I travel I bring at least one of them with me, 100% of the time. Let’s be real, most palettes are highly lacking in the matte shades department.

I love me a good shimmer, satin or full blown glitter pop-but you NEED a matte for blending, transitions, the crease, etc. Basically, mattes are necessary in EVERY look regardless of the look itself.

Gone are the days looking through your entire palette collection to find a matte shade to match the look you are going for, these are IT. They add so much dimension, depth and creativity to the “least creative shades out there-mattes” (not my opinion, but the popular opinion).

At the same time, if you need a more subdued look, don’t dabble in bold makeup looks much and want a high-quality practical palette that you are actually going to use on a regular basis. these are also for you.

If you’re traveling or have limited space: these palettes are slim, they pack well and fit on a vanity very nicely. 10 out of 10 stars. The Bad: The warm matte palette has seemingly disappeared from this site which is truly tragic because that was their strongest color scheme (in my opinion) and is everyones favorite matte Viseart palette.

The Ugly/Honest: The quality of the packaging is subpar, boring and possibly for the price-point downright unacceptable. I would usually take off a star for this, but the quality of the palettes shines too bright for that to be justifiable here.

This palette is my daily workhorse, my ride or die. Yes it’s expensive, but in addition to eyeshadow I also use it as contour and bronzer/blush and highlight. You have just about every color of matte bronzer, contour and highlight you would ever want to sculpt your face like an artist.

Viseart themselves recommend using this palette for the face, in addition to eyes (the description for this palette on their website lists in detail everything you can do on the face with each shade, it’s so helpful) the shades are extremely pigmented, I just need to touch my brush in the pan and knock off the excess, and I can bronze a whole side of my face.

For eyeshadow, the colors are both pigmented and buildable, and as many others say, they blend themselves. You just need to pick 3 shadows in the palette – light, medium and dark, and you have your eye look.

To finish the look, I like to use a shimmer palette to add a touch of light in the inner eye corner and the middle of the lid – but this isn’t necessary. I find the formulation of the mattes in this palette are very forgiving for mature eyelids! They just blend flawlessly, you don’t need to work hard for your look.

If I was traveling the world and could only bring one palette with me this is the chosen one, you can do your entire face with it and just pop on some mascara to finish. It’s an ideal palette for a minimalist.

Yes the packaging is very basic and not ‘pretty’, but if you put yourself in a makeup artist’s shoes it makes perfect sense. I’m hoping in the future Viseart would create more robust empty palettes, that I could just transfer my favorite shades in.

I have the neutral matte palette. 12 mattes and so buttery smooth and so good to blend as long as you build not pack. These shades are very pigmented and last all day and night. I had to use cleansing balm to remove from my eyes.

This is one of my favorite palettes and I prefer mattes. This is well worth the price and although the packaging is plain I have discovered the product inside is usually better if the packaging is not so fancy.

They put into the product and fancy packaging says corners must have been cut from the actual product so with this plain clear package you know the product is great! I love this palette I had to learn to build or else I have to blend too much.

I’m so loving this and I recommend everyone give a try. This same formula comes in many shades.

Overall I really like the colors in this palette. The lighter and middle shades are nice for work or more casual events and the two darker shades are a bit more dramatic for evening. I sometimes feel that the lightest two are a bit too powdery and I need to do some extra blending.

I don’t have that issue as much with the darker shades. However, they look and feel great. And I’ve even gotten compliments about these shades when wearing them!.

BEAUTIFUL little palette. The packaging is compact and perfect, small enough to slip unnoticed into a bag and sturdy enough that you’re not worrying about breakage. The colors are creamy and blendable.

Aura is especially pretty for brighting up the eyes. It’s a great combination of colors. My eyes are pretty sensitive and these don’t bother them at all. My one complaint is that they could have done a different shade for the lightest shimmer because it really serves no different purpose than Aura, which is the superior of the two.

A bronze or gold shade would have served the palette well.

▫️No7 Stay Perfect Eyeshadow Nude Palette As I tend to mainly wear neutral shades on my eyes this ticks all the boxes for me. It’s a perfect selection of shimmery shades in one handy palette. They blend well and the shades all work together.

This will likely be the compact l take with me when l travel as it’s such a handy size (not too big) plus the mirror is useful. The only negative is the eye brush that comes with is rubbish. But it’s not an issue I have numerous others.

As I’ve previously mentioned in another review; if you use an eye primer first you tend to get better results and it will stays looking good/ fresher for longer. I think this selection of shades will compliment everyone skin tones.

Definitely a good buy and well worth the money.

I tried my luck and bought both while on clearance at Target. The shades are beautiful and they are so nice to apply very buttery smooth. I got the Nude and the smoky. I’m thinking after trying only once the nudes they would have more of a color punch but beautiful either way.

I have hazel/greenish eyes and very light skin it suits me well. Bring more colors to Target I don’t see your beautiful lipsticks or blushes anymore. I have several lipsticks as well from years ago and the smaller trio eyeshadows.

I bought this palette around 2 months ago and have only used it around 3/4 times. I personally like my eyeshadow to be a little more bold and I don’t feel like this product does that for me. The eyeshadows are shiny and aren’t really matte which is something i would love for No7 to bring out! They are lightweight and blend okay.

I wouldnt personally use more than 2 colours of the palette cause they don’t blend very well together. I feel like this is a downfall for No7 as all of their skin care and other makeup products are amazing but their eyeshadows really don’t work that well.

I feel that they are aimed more for the older lady rather than young women like my self. This palette is good to have in your handbag or travel bag if you need to quickly do some makeup or need a touch up but i would not use it as part of my daily makeup routine.

This is the third time I’ve purchased this. The cool neutrals has been out of stock for almost a year. I’m cool toned, so there are not many palettes I can even use, I have tried these in limited edition colors over the years and they are more pigmented and perform better overall, but the cool toned is so neutral and light that the colors just aren’t meant to jump out.

It’s definitely more of a natural look. This is an all – in – one eyeshadow and primer palette with one primer and eight shades in matte and shimmer finishes that can be used as either eyeshadow or liner.

The cool neutrals has just the right balance of shimmer and matte and the subtle shimmer really adds nice dimension that’s not over the top. I personally don’t use the included primer with it normally, but I love the idea that it’s included and how compact it is.

I will use it if I’m out or traveling, etc. It’s not bad, it’s just not as good as my dedicated primer. The colors are light, gorgeous, complimentary and feminine. They aren’t super pigmented as I mentioned above and some colors don’t blend as well as others and can be patchy.

The quality of this is different from the 5 color Dior quad’s. I’m used to this palette and know how to make it work with the right brushes and application techniques, but if you’re expecting luxury performance from this one, you will be disappointed.

It’s worth it for me because there isn’t much on the market to suit my skintone and it IS pretty and you can create some very beautiful looks. It’s just not totally on par with the Dior name.

I love this palette. I purchased 002 cool neutrals. I always wear eyeshadow with either a primer or an eyeshadow base with powder. I prefer the primer. I read the other reviews where people said there wasn’t much pigmentation.

But I did not find that to be the case. Rather, I found the pigmentation to be there but because the color palette is so neutral the colors don’t jump out. That said, you can definitely see the colors.

What I really like about this palette is the bottom three colors are in a matte finish and the middle three colors are shimmery but not overdone. After I apply my primer I apply one of the lighter colors all over my lid and then begin working in one or two other colors.

They blend really well. Some eyeshadows look smudgy or spotty but that’s definitely not the case here. I went out with my neighbors the other night for dinner and one of my neighbors commented on my make up and asked me if I would show her how to do her make up.

That evening I really went all out and did my eyes with eyeliner eyebrow pencil mascara blush bronzer and so on. She especially said that my eye make up looked great. My skin tone is fairly neutral and I can wear warmer tones or cooler tones.

This is one of my favorite color tone palettes. Several of the colors look great all on their own by the way. And you can increase the intensity of the color and dramatic effect by using more of the darker colors.

I’m quite happy with this product which is why I gave it a five star rating.

If you are looking for a perfect neutral nude everyday make up palette look no further because this one is AMAZING! These shadows are a cooler toned great for lighter skin tones. It’s also a perfect palette for any base make up.

I bought this after seeing a lot of great review on YouTube and thought it would be a good option to take for a trip and it definitely was. It is a really good quality for the price and have a lot of variety that you can do simple looks to ones that are dramatic/glamorous.

I haven’t been a big fan of Wet N Wild eyeshadow but this one I am really liking. The only ones that I have an issue with is the white shimmer which basically leaves glitter all over your face – I wish it were more of a shimmer without the fallout instead of being so glittery but other than that the palette works really well for me.

I’ve been wanting to try out bareminerals for a while now. This new palette in shade Ultranatural caught my eye, I love cool toned rose and taupe shades. This 6 pan palette has a good balance of shades and of shimmer versus mattes, which I appreciate; I personally don’t enjoy a palette that is overwhelmed by shimmers and doesn’t have enough matte shades.

The formula is silky smooth and is well-pressed; the kickback is minimal. I found the shimmers have less opacity and intensity than most others that I own, but there is definitely a place for them in my collection; perfect for a subtle look for work or a casual day out.

I look forward to trying more of the bareminerals range!.

This has all the little extras that mean so much. This arrived boxed. There is an elastic that holds the cover tightly secured. Tab allows one to easily slide the color tray out to use the shadows and return the tray when done.

I chose the rosewood which has two nice neutrals and an assortment of darker pinks. It really does it all. There was no brush included but I am certain that a call to QVC customer service will readily remedy this.

Bare Minerals has always been my go to in lip gloss only, but I am now rethinking that! This is a lovely palette, and can easily be tossed into a handbag for quick touch ups throughout the day. Great purchase!.

I originally bought the palette because I was looking for a good nude palette for tan/olive skin types that was also on the portable side, and I heard a lot of good things about Juvia’s Place. Unfortunately I have mixed thoughts about his palette.

The pan size is slightly larger than the average palette pan size (which is more for your money) and shadows swatched well, but they didn’t apply the same. The mattes barely showed up on my eyes (ironically that’s what I was looking for in my nude palette) and weren’t pigmented, but can be built up.

They also acted as good transition colors to use as a base. The darkest matte can be used to create some depth (not a lot) when built up. However, the shimmers were so pressed into the palette that I could barely get any shadow on my brush.

In the end, I had to use a finger application in order to apply the shimmers, which still wasn’t pigmented. I ended up having to dig into the pan with my finger multiple in order to get anything to show up on my lids.

Only the peach-toned shimmer was able to be built up to become a good inner corner highlighter. The other shimmers barely showed up.

The formula and performance of this palette is absolutely in line with the quality that we have come to expect from Juvia’s Place. No complaints there at all. However, the issue that I and most others have is just in the color choices.

When the larger population of the “Western” world discovered Juvia’s Place, the company really exploded and became a major force in the makeup industry. This is based simply on numbers, and it’s a simple reality.

But the real success of Juvia’s Place is that it is a company designed for and by minority skin tones. And ironically, that’s also what made it popular with the Caucasian customer base, because we too have been looking for deep, rich, pigmented shadows.

We just were able to deal with the mediocre quality we had been delt up to the time we happened across the genius of Juvia’s Place. So light-skinned people came with their numbers and have become raving fans and collectors of Juvia’s Place.

But the problem is that just as is the case with Caucasian-owned or some Asian-owned makeup companies, it’s easier to make colors match your own skin than skin that you’re less familiar with on a personal level.

At least this is my hunch of what happened with this palette. I think it was a very excellent and valid effort by JP to diversify their nudes and neutrals. And it was probably very much needed. And appreciated.

The issue is that it’s SO light. I’m a pretty light-skinned person come March since I haven’t seen the sun for months. But the two lightest shades in this palette were imperceptible on my skin. If there had been one shade that was so light, that would have been fine.

good even. But I think JP overshot a bit on the compensation. So what we have is a palette of extremely light and bare shades that will not work for the majority of the majority (if that makes sense).

However, this palette is EXTREMELY good for the light-skinned lovers of the JP formula and color stories who need some help blending things out and making it more wearable for everyday. It also will work for those who are even more light than I am.

In the meantime, I love and cherish the palette as part of my JP collection, and I will use the lighter shades as blending shades, the deeper matte as a transition (which is just about perfect for my skin tone), and the three shimmers make excellent one-and-done, barely-there washes over the lid.

The sheer shade is a stunning topper shade for any other shade that I want to add some sparkle to. Please excuse my diatribe on the topic. I wanted to play a bit of devil’s advocate after seeing so many comments on social media dogging this palette as “boring.

” I think it’s only “boring” in relation to what else JP gives us. If Maybelline had released this, it might have been lauded as “groundbreaking”. who knows? That being said, my advice to JP is to release a “Nudes II” and maybe even “III” palette that cater to darker shades in the “majority” (Caucasian and Asian) skin tones.

Or just leave it alone and don’t worry about it. The JP formula is brilliant and with a light hand, blends beautifully for nearly any skin tone.

Let me start by saying that I just love the color scheme on this palette. I love neutrals for a subtle every day look but also like to build up a more intense one, depending the ocassion and the mood, of course.

These eyeshadows apply nicely and are easy to blend. The pigmentation is good and the shimmer is just right. In my opinion, for this kind of formula (looks like powder but feels like a cream) it’s better to apply with the fingers first and then blend in with a brush to clean it up.

They definitely look more pigmented and adhere to the skin better. I apply it dry for a simple day look and wet if I want a more vibrant night look. Another thing that I love about this palette (and brand in general) is that it’s very budget-friendly, works great, and it’s also cruelty-free! Definitely recommend it.

I bought this with hopes for shade 2 – a yellow-gold. It was sort of underwhelming then (so I have been avoiding it) and the formula doesn’t like a wet brush (gets hard and doesn’t perform much better).

Overall, I just didn’t like it – too many copper/bronze shades (the last 3) for me, which make my eyes look sort of dull. The third shade is pretty – a sort of Rose gold, the first shade is just sheer glitter, the last shade is a weirdly muddy dark bronze due to some black oddly incorporated.

I made sure to use all the colors in different combinations. Fallout and sort of dry/fly-away but apply ok with fingers. The last three shades had good pigmentation applied with fingers – and I don’t like those colors :/.

There is also at least one shade in this palette (or maybe just the fallout in general) that irritates my sensitive eye. I feel like something is in it and it waters intermittently. Wear time isn’t all day.

Over ELF’s primer this dissolves around the crease a earlier and a bit more than most shadows do on me (oily lids). Packaging was good – solid, black compact case with a mirror and crappy double-sided foam applicator.

Anyway, I have lots of sheer glitter bombs and better yellow-golds. I am not keeping coppers-bronzes since I don’t like them on me, and I won’t keep this palette for one shade that I probably have dupes for.

I’m giving this to my 9-yo to play with – she has been begging me for some eyeshadow.

I love neutral colors and may have tried/owned every brand. Elf’s naked palette in nude is a really nice range of beige to brown shadows. If you enjoy more neutral palettes, this is a good choice. There is some fallout, but not too much.

The shadows are buildable and blend easily.

Two reasons: 1) The large pans don’t offer a solid all-over base shade; which seems a bit weird to me. 2) I was applying the shimmers by trying to pat them on, rather than use the Charlotte Tilbury technique of sweeping them over the lid with a smaller fluffy brush.

This one was a game-changer. The shades: I’d assumed they would have given us three large pans of the colors we’d likely use most – which, ok. For some, that might be the case. For me, not so much. For reference, I have neutral-toned light skin, but the three large-pan shades are mostly too light to use as a base shade unless you want a white base to have other colors build upon.

The closest to a good all-over base would be Strip Poker, which is brilliant as a soft transition. but the other two large-pans are good for highlighting only. Left Column: Heaven (vanilla; top large pan) is a nice soft matte.

Silk Teddy (pink champagne; middle large pan) is a perfect highlight shade for the inner corner or brow. Strip Poker (light taupe; bottom large pan) is the softest transition option available. It’s not deep enough to stand on its own for a *look*, but definitely nice if you’re looking for a soft bit of shaping for your eyelids.

Middle Column: Cashmere Bunny (medium taupe; top pan) is what I was looking for to get a nice crease that blends beautifully. Push-Up (pink sand; middle pan) has become my absolute favorite shimmer shade for a natural-ish lid.

Seriously. I have yet to find something better. And Honey Pot (gold; bottom pan) is an equally glorious glam option. Right Column: Sexspresso (dark matte brown; top pan) is much richer in pigment and hue than I was expecting, and it’s lovely for a whole smokey eye or just for depth where you need it.

Erotica (shimmer cool-toned brown; middle pan) adds to a great brown smokey eye or can be used as a crease shade as well – the shimmer isn’t too intense. And Chocolate Martini (burnt gold; bottom pan) is brilliant if you want to amp up a golden eye look with dimension.

The colors are smartly put together. They blend well and all suit one another. However, it’s just the idea that there’s no good all-over base shade in the largest pans, the ones you would expect to use most, that bothers me.

Also, both the top and middle lines of pans work well together, but if you’re trying to create a gold-toned eye look, you may need a different highlight shade for under your brow and inner corner. Heaven is too matte and Silk Teddy too pink to work as well as a good champagne tone with Honey Pot and Chocolate Martini.

Overall, this has become such a solid mainstay palette that it’s the only one I brought on my last trip that involved 3 different wedding party events and a whole lot of photo-taking throughout the week.

It’s versatile, flattering, and natural. While I didn’t *get* it at first, and while it’s not perfect, it’s become a must-have for me. Attaching photos. You can tell I’ve really dipped into this palette over the last year!.

I love this bronzer. It is my absolute favorite out there. I try to steer clear of powders as I start to get fine lines, but this never accentuates any texture on my face. It seems to have a matte texture but when you swatch it and really build it up, you can see that there is the slightest of sheens.

It doesn’t show up upon application, but I suspect that light sheen helps to keep the skin from looking matte and heavy. It is matte powder, absolutely no shimmer! But still, a skin-like sheen. I love wearing this alone on my face or even as an eyeshadow.

It isn’t orangey at all. It leans warm but in a way that still manages to look neutral. The smell isn’t overpowering and it hasn’t caused any skin reactions (and I have very sensitive skin).

The Divine Neutrals eyeshadow palette is the most recent collaboration between Morphe and Jaclyn Hill, and in the palette you get a highly wearable mix of universal neutral shades in gold, bronze, eggplant, and a selection of dusty rose & brown tones, in a even 50/50 matte to shimmer ratio.

The mattes are very easy to blend and have very little fallout, whilst the shimmers all feel creamy and have a nice glow to them. The feel and performance of the formulas is what I expect from eyeshadows from any mid+ brand (all day wear, with no colour fade and no creasing on my heavily hooded eyes after 9+ hours of wear), no complaints with the performances of the shades whatsoever.

I hadn’t been interested in this palette initially as Jaclyn’s Volumes I & II eyeshadow palettes with Morphe already contain a large mixture of neutral shades, but when I recently saw it in a sale on the Morphe site, with an additional 50% discount on top of the sale price [worked out at £5.

40 instead of £18!], I couldn’t resist picking it up. Divine Neutrals contains a great versatile colour-story, in a slick toss-in-a-bag-and-go compact. The shades aren’t anything unique [though a quick look-over of my Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palettes reveals some similarities, but no total dupes], but so far I’ve not done the same look twice, as there is a surprising amount of variety here – barely there nude looks for every skintone, toned down worktime 2 shadow looks, 1 shadow looks, shade gradient looks, smoky looks, and reverse smoky looks.

Bonus round; the colour story is very similar to the limited edition Fenty Bomb Posse eyeshadow palette from Christmas 2021, with the same quality level but half of the price – the palettes where released around the same time as each other, so no-one copied the other.

The Morphe Truth or Bare Artistry palette also contains some very similar shades and actually costs slightly less money – however Morphe’s regular eyeshadow formulations don’t come close to the exclusive formulas that they reserve for their Jaclyn Hill collaboration collections.

I loved Jaclyn’s original palette (used it til I hit pan). But this isn’t the same. I was so excited for this palette because the colors are so me. But the mattes aren’t as smooth and pigmented and the glitters are so dry.

The formula is not patchy though and is buildable so I figured it would keep it for everyday looks. but I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fallout in my makeup history. No matter what I do, I have glitter all over my face by the end of the day.

I’ve tried all my usual methods to be able to keep these pretty colors in my life but I end up with eyeshadow all in places where there shouldn’t be eyeshadow. Too messy and too difficult to work with.

I’m a Jaclyn fan but she should’ve created this palette within her own brand, I would’ve paid more for these colors in a higher quality formula.

I own and really like Jaclyn’s other Morphe palettes. I also own and like almost all of Morphe’s 35 pan palettes as well, but this palette was very underwhelming. I’m generally a fan of Morphe shadows, but something about this palette just doesn’t seem up to par with Jaclyn’s other palettes.

The formula for the mattes seemed very dry and the shimmers don’t look special. When I put the shimmers on my lids, they hardly sparkled. I’d say the palette is good for beginners, but if you are a makeup hoarder like me LOL you probably have other neural bronze palettes that are better quality and you really won’t be impressed by this one.

Was so excited to see YS get these palettes in and they are so lovely. 02 is cool-tone themed, but it’s definitely not unflattering on warm tones either. The pigmentation and blendability of the shadows are also top notch, even by western product standards.

There are a lot of shades to choose from, but the palette is not so big that it’s bulky to take around with you so it’s a convenient and versatile palette.
