20 Best Nespresso Machines For Latte (2023 Updated)

Bought this machine, because I wanted to use nespresso capsules as they are recyclable. The price was reasonable for our how much we were willing to spend on a coffee machine. We have a store right down the street from our home so it is convenient to drop off the used pods for recycling and stock up on new ones.

I choose this machine, because it has the built in milk frother, however by design the frother is literally a jigsaw puzzle. You have to take it apart and clean well after each use. This can be annoying, but I like having this option when I am in the mood to have a latte.

I didn’t want to get a machine that had a separate attachment, makes the system more complicated. I do appreciate this compact design as it doesn’t take up much counter space. The descaling is quite easy to do when prompted to do so.

Youtube has good video tutorials. After descaling, you will notice the coffee that comes out tastes smoother.

I got this as a gift to my husband its our 4th machine but first with integrated milk system which saves counter space. After 5 months started issue with milk system sent my machine for repair and when they returned it told me its not the machine but the milk jug and its not covered by warranty but they sent me a replacement for free as my husband has a good history with them.

2 months after same issue started again. Called CS and told them I can no longer have this machine as its more of a headache. They will replace it but had to choose between latissima touch & citiz. Chose the touch for the only reason that if I choose the lower value machine they will not compensate for the difference in Value.

Im waiting for the latissima touch to be ship. With latissima one i had enough, i was expecting to get the performance of a $500 machine but it just disappointed me.

We have had to send this machine back to N’Espresso twice and we are currently on our 4th milk jug as after every couple of months the milk pulling function stops working! I spend an inordinate amount of time organising these adventures for my coffee maker, and no doubt the function will cease again in the not too distant future.

If you buy this product you are likely to have to cross your fingers every time you try to make your coffee, it’s hit and miss if you will get one! I have begged for money towards a machine I can rely on but N’Espresso just keep on with the same policy as above! I am a bit worried as my guarantee expires in a few months, N’Espresso have assured me it lasts for 3 years as I am a N’Espresso member but my confidence in them is (coffee) shot!!!!! I wish I had enough money to throw this one away and replace it with another make, but for the moment I don’t.

Lots to like about this machine. Compact size, quick startup, automated frothing and cleaning of the milk dispenser, a small but very usable variety of drinks in the menu all making this the go to for a fast cup and at an affordable price vs other semiautomatic machines.

The provisos–capsules (there only option) are relatively expensive, the froth while fairly good is not the micro-froth one can achieve with manual machines, although the frother can go back in the fridge it should be cleaned every three days or less and mine gradually wore-out after seven years (replacement was pricey at almost $60 on Amazon) and finally a intermittent leaking of water under the drip tray lead to us replacing the entire machine.

Still hoping for at least another seven years of a go-to machine for quick drinks.

Bought after my basic Nespresso machine sprung a leak and a worthwhile upgrade. The illumination is surprisingly useful and having a display with regular menus and prompts is a massive boon when it comes to set-up, operation and maintenance compared to deciphering the combination of light flashes on less sophisticated models.

Also having a larger water reservoir means the faff of filling it up doesn’t have to be done as often. Having the milk frother built-in is great – I think I used the Aeroccino with my previous machine about 5 times in 3 years but this one gets used on an almost daily basis.

The fact that it can be put in the dishwasher is a plus point. The only downsides I’ve experienced are: the fact that the “milk aspiration tube” (that supplies milk from the reservoir into the frother section) was missing and this took a while to resolve; and obviously being a bigger machine, it takes up more kitchen worktop space.

I purchased my Vertro in 2017 via Amazon Prime. At the time of purchase, I was living in rural Arizona and William Sonoma wasn’t close enough to me (at that time, they were the only retail store that sold Nespresso machines) to make the drive worthwhile and of course, Amazon Prime has free shipping.

A friend of mine had one and I loved it, so I treated myself. Since day one, I have had zero issues. In the beginning, I used bottled water because the local tap water where I was living was not even drinkable from the faucet.

After moving back to my hometown of Seattle, I switched to tap water, our tap water is divine. As others have posted, I too have a Keruig and I used to switch back and forth between the two, but for the last 8 months or so, I’ve been a strictly Nespresso girl.

I too have been considering giving away my Keruig, but I keep thinking I may want just plain old coffee once in a while. Hasn’t happened yet. But, I digress – my Vertruo is now nearly 5 years old and I use it every single day (unless I’m out of town ;o) ).

I have not experienced one iota of an issue. Unexplainably, occasionally it does get a little louder, but that’s on a rare occasion and I have never had to (as one post noted) “shout over it” to speak to guests LOL in or around it while creating my next masterpiece.

I truly treasure this sweet appliance and with every use, I get such delight in the fact that I get to have this deliciousness every day. Also, the free-to-recyclable capsules are simply brilliant. That is HUGE for me.

THEN! There are the George Clooney commercials! I don’t know how long he has been a Nespresso representative, but I felt proud to know I was in his company after I saw the commercial. And, Danny DeVito is pretty awesome as well.

It truly pains me to read the negative reviews because of how much joy I get from my Vertuo, I love it and I guess it loves me back because, well – 5 years and not a prob. I hope for eventual success for those that have experienced upsets from their Nespresso machines.

There are a lot of negatives going on around us so we gotta take the good stuff whenever we can. ♥♥♥.

As our “replacement” Next, from Nespresso failed in 8 months after the Our original Next failed in 7 months, this Vertuo has worked quite well. With a singal caveat. Avoid the Next at any cost. Worldwide issues are well documented.

This orginal Vertuo is generally recommended by aficianodos and doesn’t have the reputation for problems like the Next. Having said that, after two days of use we are finding an “off” taste in our various coffees and frankly, think it might be the dreaded plastic taste that we’ve experienced in old drip makers of the past.

We have attempted cleanings and other remedies which have mitigated the plastic taste. But, it does seem to return after a couple of days of use. Only time will tell. But frankly, if this Vertuo doesn’t work out reliably for at least two years, we will be saying good bye to Nespresso all together.

It’s expensive but worth it when it works. But, if one has to experience failures or keep futzing with the equipment, the old French press with quality beans is the better deal.

I have had a regular coffee percolator, 3 Keurigs, an old Corelle ceramic percolator with steel basket, and finally a Ninja Coffee Bar. I did not like the way coffee made with the Keurig tasted plus you were stuck with either weak coffee or using two pods.

One size does NOT fit all. Then we got the do-it-yourself pod refills but by then I was done with the Keurig. Not to mention the mess made with refilling the pods. The Corelle made GREAT coffee but when you only drink one or two mugs a day you wind up having to reheat in the microwave.

Then it doesn’t taste the same as fresh brewed. When I got the Coffee Bar I thought my problems were solved. It’s a WONderful coffee maker allowing you to fresh brew one cup, or a mug, or a travel mug, or half a pot, or a full pot.

It also allows you to make faux lattes and has a whip on the side for frothing hot milk. Oh and you can brew up iced coffee as well. But it just wasn’t what I wanted as far as flavor. I tried several types of coffee.

And here I need to add a disclaimer. I only drink decaf. And before someone jumps in and says that’s my problem. the lattes I get at Starbucks have PLENTY of flavor. But making them at home with Starbucks decaf just wasn’t the same.

Enter the Nespresso. Oh and I also picked up the lovely glass topped drawer to hold the vertuo pods. That arrived days before the machine thanks to weather in SLC. Anyway I was concerned the machine wouldn’t fit under my cabinets once it was on top because of the measurements given in the description.

Well the height measurement, just so you know, is done with the top part fully opened. It fits just fine. So on to the first cup (and yes, I did order a three pack of the decaf offerings). I had read in other reviews that it doesn’t produce a very hot cup of coffee.

So I made sure to turn the machine on and leave it on for 9 minutes (that’s the automatic shut off timer) and then brewed my first cup. Tepid. After I dumped in a bunch of cream. Off to the microwave.

Second time I ran it for 18 minutes and used the aeroccino. Um. Not a good idea to use the spring attachment on the whip and the top max line for milk. It REALLY whips up the froth. Since I turned off the aeroccino too soon THAT cup wasn’t hot enough.

Back to the microwave. This morning I used the Intenso pod and I knew it only brewed 40 ml but I still was “Where’s the rest of the coffee???” once it stopped brewing. OK OK. whip the milk. This time I took out the spring and filled to the max line (use whole milk.

mmmmm). Not much froth on top but HOT milk and HOT coffee. No need for the microwave. and may I just say — DEEElicious!Sorry Ninja. You are destined for the pantry to only come out when company is here.

Do I recommend this machine? Absolutely. Yes the coffee is expensive but I only drink one or two mugs a day. I am, however, going to have to beg Nespresso to make an Alto pod in the decaf. Other than that, this baby gets 5 stars across the board.

I bought this to replace one of my higher end Keurig single serve coffee machines. I did my research and expected a lot. The performance and quality of the coffee was more than I had imagined it would be.

This coffee machine heats up the water to a temperature according to the bar code on the pod types, flavors and sizes. This bar code also allows it to identify the amount of water needed for each type of pod.

This machine couldn’t be any more easy to use. It also produces a rich ‘crema’ with each serving amping up the coffee drinking experience. The downside is that I find it difficult to find a variety of coffee types, strengths and flavors at my local stores.

That being said, the nespresso website has the entire Vertuo line pods available for sale. As for the aereccino3 milk frother. came as a set with my machine. This frother is usually sold separately. I didn’t know much about it until I read the information and instruction manual and learned some recipes.

I use the aereccino3 along with my vertuo machine every day averaging about 4 times a day–not including the additional uses for my family. This combo has become a big hit amongst all of my family members as well! Cappuccino’s, iced lattes and hot lattes are amongst the most requested.

This set it fun to use and you can customize each creation using any flavor of coffee creamer you desire. The frother can create both hot and cold milk froth. It does recommend using whole milk for best results though.

The aereccino3 is easy to use and clean as well with simple functions. I highly recommend both of these products. I purchased my bundle at Best Buy. You will love the vertuo if you love quality coffee and the aereccino3 if you love coffee creations.

I purchased this model from another retailer. This machine is by far a better product. I’m wondering if the retailer determines the quality of the product they receive. Here is an example: There were many complaints on the other site about how well the appliance heated up.

The one from the other retailer made coffee with a barely acceptable temperature. This product that I purchased through Best Buy made piping hot, steamy, delicious, aromatic yumminess! (I returned the coffee maker to the other retailer and use this one daily!) You can’t go wrong with this perfect flavor with every cup.

I replaced a $700 espresso machine with this one. While the other one allowed me to grind my beans and make my own coffee without the need to purchase pods, it was a LOT of work and didn’t give me consistent results.

I absolutely love the Nespresso coffee makers. It’s just so easy to make a cafe quality coffee from home with this brand of coffee makers. I also do love the electric frother that comes with an espresso coffee makers. You can use all different kinds of milk from plant-based to heavy cream and it will make a rich froth to put on top of your coffee or at the very least heat up your creamer so it doesn’t cool down your coffee.

I love that Nespresso is also a brand that sustainable and eco-friendly by providing recyclable bags for the coffee pods. I just emptied them from the convenient pod holder into the bag and then put my bag in the recycling bin.

The coffee itself comes in so many different varieties and sizes that there’s something for everyone. If you love a rich flavorful coffee that’s bold but yet not bitter than you would love having a Nespresso coffee maker.

The sizes come in tiny expresso to full cup blends and they have great seasonal varieties like peppermint mocha or pumpkin spice as well as varietals from different countries. You should definitely try it out if you’re a coffee lover.

I received this as a Christmas present over 2 years ago from my parents. I and my husband are major coffee addicts. It was such a perfect gift, we make coffee in any and every way possible. This is definitely perfect for a quick cup of Joe.

I love that you can get a huge variety of coffee, and espressos. The milk frothier has a hot and a cold setting. I don’t even know how I existed without this! The coffee choices online or in store are all so delicious, frothy, and flavorful.

They even have limited edition seasonal choices! My only con to this machine which is surprising to say especially for me. but the coffee is not that hot. To be honest it’s more like lukewarm. I really wish it brewed the coffee hotter.

I am looking into upgrading to the newest Nespresso machine. I really want the pour over option and carafe!.

Omg I can’t rave about this product enough!! I love the easy and simplicity of it. Just plug it in and choose from a huge variety of different pod flavours. When coffee restaurants charge so much for a cup this brings the taste of The best coffee house to your finger tips.

Your whole house smells divine when you make a cup. It’s comes out so creamy and frothy and did I mention delicious ? You can choose from very light to a strong coffee pod. Highly recommend you get the milk frothed for the full experience.

Does anyone know if there’s such a group as Nespresso Anonymous? Asking for a friend. Recently I was introduced to Nespresso when I stayed with a friend a few weeks back. It was instant love and this is the exact machine she had had for quite a while.

When I got home I bought my own and have been loving it ever since. I mean, to the point of I crave the Nespresso throughout the day. The machine is great. The only issue I had was that the instructions weren’t great.

I mean, they were there. I guess I’m just used to a more “spelled-out” instruction and I didn’t get that warm-fuzzy feeling from the book provided. Once I got going though it was over. You need this.

This little compact machine may be your gateway to getting a larger machine but I really don’t see a need for a larger machine. It takes up minimal counter space so I don’t feel like I have to put it away ever.

The 2 espresso sizes provided are more than enough for me being that I only use the bigger size (I tried the single shot of espresso and it just felt like a waste of a pod TBH). Oh, I accidentally tried to run it without any water in the reservoir and let me tell you right now, that’s a waste of a pod.

Keep an eye on the water line and just keep it full.

A friend brought one with them on our vacation. I fell in love with it instantly, I bought it online and drove 45 mins away to get it the very same day, while still on this vacation!. Sadly I paid full price, but I wanted it to use on the rest of our travels during this vacation.

The machine is fast, super efficient and makes an excellent espresso and froths milk better than my larger and heavier Breville machine at home (now 10 years old and still working!). Although you can only make one cup at a time, unlike my Breville, the beverage stays hotter and the frothing device is a hands free technological wonder.

While it will not replace our Breville at home – it very well could, we brought it to use when we travel in our Airstream RV. Pros – Small, lightweight but sturdy, efficient, quick and simple to use and clean.

Do not waste your money on this set unless you have money to burn. I loved this frother the first year we owned it my. We are now at over a year of ownership, and yesterday something went wrong with it.

I have tried to make it work now multiple times and it is still not working right. Everything looks like it’s working correctly but the milk burns on the bottom causing it to overflow. I called the company for help, and I was told because I’ve owned it for over a year it’s out of warranty and they won’t help.

I feel so frustrated and like our purchase was a big waste of money. I suggest spending your money with a company that has products that will last for years and will stand behind their products no matter how long you’ve owned them.

I picked this lovely deluxe model at my nearest Costco for $199. 99 (to note, it is cheaper in the warehouse than on the website by $20. 00) and there are some pros and cons to this. You are limited to the kind of coffee you can have in here, this isn’t geared toward your regular coffee drinker – this is the model you pick up if you are into espresso and fancy cappuccinos at home.

This is, without a doubt, for the niche expresso drinker. The bonus milk frother is definitely something you will get a lot of use out of, it is a great little setup that will froth your milk either hot or cold – whole milk works better than oat or almond milk, just for a heads up.

The capsules are very expensive, you can order off the website but that will add up quickly – you can also subscribe to monthly capsules, however, I did see some capsules available at Save On Foods. I got 10 Starbucks Expresso capsules for $10.

This review is for a (Black and Lime) Pixie that was bought in 2015. It still works! Lately (when about six years old), it grew less efficient in making the shorter espresso shots, with more of the water going into the tray rather than through the pod.

It still can make the ‘lungo’ size perfectly. It has always been easy to use and clean, and never got too hot or messy. It is one of the ‘Original’-category designs, and is compatible with non-Nespresso pods as well.

(The packing of coffee in Nespresso’s own pods, and perhaps other things, make the extraction best with Nespresso pods. ) Since we prefer the ristretto/shot size to ‘lungo’, I ordered a new 2022 Pixie, but will stow this 2015 Pixie as a back-up.

I bought this as a gift for my husband for Christmas and it’s been a real hit, in constant use. It’s easy, straight forward, practical to clean, not noisy. It looks neat on the bench and isn’t invasive.

The reason I specifically chose this model after a lot of reading and research was because it takes shop’s own coffee pods. I found this a difficult thing to find out and the manufacturers were more than vague, so this is a helpful thing to know when considering which model to buy.

I purchased the Nespresso Krups Pixie to replace my nine year old Magimix Citiz. I have already concluded that this machine is an excellent replacement and it has a number of advantages over the Magimix.

It is an attractive modern design, more compact, shorter in height and takes up less space. It is much quieter in operation. Likes; It makes a very hot cup of coffee with a perfect foamy crema. The half round lever feels very smooth when operated to pierce or eject a capsule.

The machine is quick to warm up after pressing either of the top Espresso or Lungo buttons. The cup support (drip tray), which is essentially designed for ristretto sized cup, can be rotated upwards to facilitate a mug on the worktop.

Five stars to John Lewis for an exceptionally fast delivery from the time I ordered it online and also for their 3 year guarantee on the product. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and happy to recommend it.

I got this as a Christmas gift from my husband. It arrived early because my old Keurig Rivo machine broke and I needed my morning espresso, the regular coffee from an ordinary Keurig just doesn’t cut it for me when I make my morning iced latte.

I have been using this new machine for about 7 weeks and already I am noticing some weird things. The little round well where you put the pod is sometimes 1/3rd full of water AFTER I make my coffee. I don’t know if this is leftover water or water that leaks in after the process of making the coffee happens.

I usually take a paper towel to absorb it so it doesn’t interfere with my new cup, but I don’t think that should be happening, and it isn’t all the time. Also, in the past week or so I am noticing that when the coffee making is done, there is a drip drip drip for another minute or two.

This did not happen when I first got the machine. But the most irritating thing is that the pods don’t always make the same amount of liquid. I bought 12 boxes of pods in 8 different flavors. I am trying to find the exact one for making my lattes.

Some boxes say they make a very small amount, others say 7 or 9 ounces. Well I have become fond of one particular type, Chiaro, and sometimes it makes a lot more than other times. It is possible this is because of the extra water in the well, maybe it was there more often then I noticed, but supposedly the pod tells the machine what to make for an amount, and sometimes it doesn’t work.

I honestly can’t say whether a more expensive version of this Vertuo machine would work better? I got it on a great deal here at QVC (less than $115 and sample pods included) so I won’t complain about the value, but if it needs replacing I would probably go to a different brand or model.

Luckily I make just one drink each morning, and my husband hates coffee so it will get only once daily use. If it lasts for a couple of years, I would be happy. My Rivo machine lasted 6 years and I miss it, I loved the espresso it made and the pods were half the price.

For those who don’t know, you can’t use any other pods in this machine. I found that buying them in bulk right from Nespresso is the best way to go price wise, and their website give a lot of information about flavors of the pods.

I try to be honest in my QVC reviews because I depend on them myself to decide whether to buy something. For the price I paid it is a satisfactory item, but it does have issues and you need to decide if those things matter to you.

Taste wise, depending on the pod it makes a good tasting espresso.

I seem to have extremely bad luck because my first machine purchased in store didn’t pump water. Nespresso help suggested I exchange it since it was defective. Went back to the store today yesterday to get another one, only with the exact same problem.

After almost an hour on the phone with Nespresso, they said the second machine was also defective and needed to be exchanged. This morning I went yet again to exchange the machine. And once again, the machine is defective out of the box – this time water was leaking out of the bottom of the machine and not coming out the front.

After an hour on the phone with Nespresso, they finally agreed for me to send them this machine and get a replacement instead of going back to Canadian Tire for a fourth exchange. Very discouraged.

Let’s start from the fact that I am a coffee snob and always wanted to have coffee machine at home. I have looked through a lot of brands and finally decided to get Nespresso coffee machine and undoubtedly , this is the best decision I have ever made.

Flip up drip tray is one of the main advantages. Area that catches the empty pods is big enough for 6-7 pods. Water reservoir is pretty small, but it is even good, as you add fresh water instead of using stagnant water.

Machine is easy to use. I even got the pod samples along with my order and I am totally impressed by the quality of the espresso. It tastes aaamazing! I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves coffee!.

We drink a lot of coffee and because of that, we spend extra on coffee that’s certified mycotoxin and mold free, organic, etc. We also alternate between filtered and unfiltered coffee to get benefits (and reduce negatives) of both.

Needless to say, I research everything around our coffee-drinking. I’ve wanted a pod coffee maker for awhile because I travel a lot and it’s so quick on mornings I leave early and then my husband also doesn’t have to make a full pot of coffee when it’s just him.

But I hated so much about them: all the plastic, all the waste with the pods. But then I found this! They read my mind. It’s almost all stainless steel parts, except for the water reservoir, which is plastic.

I don’t mind that because all the parts that are super heated aren’t plastic. Then there’s the recycle piece. you save all the pods and then when you hit a certain amount, you send them back to Nespresso in bags they provide free and they recycle the grounds and the aluminum.

I also bought the reusable stainless steel pod so I can do my own coffee as well. The coffee is fantastic, as we all know. It is spendy, for sure, but addressing the plastic and waste issues satisfactorily makes this the best pod coffee maker out there.

Plus it’s dang adorable.

Let me start by saying, it definitely does the job it’s intended to do. And not only that, it’s fantastic at its job. My issue wasn’t the machine but rather the espresso/coffee. This machine uses the original Line of Nespresso pods, and unfortunately it doesn’t have the espresso quality or flavor profiles you’ve come to know from coffee shops across America.

So what do I mean, well each original pod has either 5 to 7 grams of grounds in it. At your local coffee shop, baristas use around 9 grams for a single and 18 for a double shot. That’s almost twice as much coffee per serving! Some people double up on the pods, but the problem is the water to coffee ratio is thrown off, so you get watered down espresso even if you use the ristretto setting.

So, while Breville made an amazing machine that textures milk better than most coffee shops, because of the original Nespresso pods it uses, it’s unfortunately not a replacement for coffee runs. We ended up returning the machine and getting a Breville with the Vertuo coffee pods and so glad we did!.

The CitiZ draws a fine cup of espresso, but the user interface is less robust than the Essenza. I have had an Essenza for years. It still works great except the button to draw a shot is going out and barely works.

If I could repair the button, I would. Unfortunately Nespresso doesn’t do repairs. So I bought a CitiZ. The lid of the water tank is not attached to the tank or the machine making it harder to set in place correctly.

To remove the used pod holder, grab the upper cup shelf. Don’t try to grab the actual pod container – it is not attached to the bottom. The lever to insert a pod is sticky and hard to set into place.

If you don’t get it closed fully, the pod doesn’t puncture and you just get hot water in your cup. All in all, this machine feels less well-made than the Essenza, which functions smoothly and reliably.

I really want to love this machine but it is impossible to recommend. I have owned at least 6 or 7 Nespresso machines over the years (including a Citiz) and have loved every single one. There is a core issue with this particular machine that they seem unable or unwilling to acknowledge or to resolve.

I just got my third replacement and it has the exact same flaw. It makes a persistent buzzing/humming/electrical sound even when inactive. The only way to stop the sound is to unplug the machine. When it is in “active” mode (e.

g. heating) it is about 20X louder but even at rest, you can hear it. I am honestly tired of sending the machines back and having them replaced with the same exact issue, but do not recommend this unit.

Try a Pixie? The service/support is also disjointed and frustrating. They don’t admit there is a known issue with the machines even though googling it clearly shows otherwise.

I have been a Nespresso member since 2002. I have purchased almost every original machine including the one made by Alesia. I recently purchased my 2d Citiz machine and it does not disappoint! I have also given 5 Citiz as gifts because I know it’s qualities; fast and quite, beautiful and solid.

Simply, THE BEST. My question to you: Is Nespresso going to produce a travel case for the Citiz? I can’t leave home without it. Thank you.

I used to have a coffee machine that worked with pads, but I didn’t use it all that often to be honest. The Nespresso DeLonghi Lattissima however, I’ve been using every single day since I got it. It’s partially been made with recycled plastics, although that is not a deciding factor for me as the capsules themselves are single-use anyway (Nespresso will recycle those for you if you order a special recycle bag from them though).

On to the machine itself: There are three buttons on top. Press any button to turn it on and wait until the lights stop flickering (which takes about 20 seconds, it’s really fast compared to my previous coffee maker).

Then you can insert a capsule of your choice (Influenster was kind enough to provide me with a sample pack so I had a lot of different capsules to try) and choose your size depending on the capsule you choose: espresso, lungo, or a recipe with milk.

The milk reservoir can be filled to your liking and the machine automatically recognises the amount of milk you put in. Every single coffee I’ve had so far with this machine has been a real moment of joy.

And almost all of the components can be put in the dishwasher, so cleaning up is a breeze as well. The Nespresso DeLonghi Lattissima looks very sleek in my kitchen and I definitely recommend it!.

I bought this to replace my original DeLonghi Nespresso which finally bit the dust after many years and thousands of coffees. This model is much more sleek looking with fewer nooks and crannies to keep clean – I bought the matte black version and it looks super sleek.

I particularly like the way that you can press the coffee option before the machine has warmed up and it will proceed once up to temperature. Nice hot coffee every time – I love it!!! The only downside I can see is that the drip tray is very shallow so needs more frequent cleaning – not a deal-breaker by any means.

If you’re in the market for a Nespresso machine in this price band then don’t hesitate – you won’t regret it.

I’m sooooo stunned by this!! I got the machine few weeks ago, it took me weeks to test it out if it’s good and keeps doing it’s job. I tested multiple coffee cups, I can use Stratbucks as well!! And that just makes me love the machine even more🥰 I can make stronger or more softer coffees I can make late and espresso I’ve never had a coffee making machine before and im very amazed with this one 🥰 It’s so easy to clean, you can clean by adding water instead of milk that little milk container and just run trough the water or you can also take it apart and clean, I do it both ways to make sure I take a good care of it! 🥰 LOVE IT! And I give it 10/10 without any questions!.

I am a Breville junky, and when I decided that I should stop buying Starbucks everyday, in invested in the Creatista instead. So far so good. I love how easy it is to use. I have the white version of the machine, and you definitely need to clean the drip tray, pretty much constantly to make sure it doesn’t stain.

But aside from that it’s great!.

After reading a number of reviews, I adjusted my spending dramatically upward to get this Creatista. It has not disappointed in three months of daily use. When I crunched the numbers, I could see this Espresso machine paying for itself in five months.

We’re still getting our Peet’s coffee fix thanks to the pods sold by Peet’s online. Added benefits include fresh hot latte at a moment’s notice, avoiding 1/2 hour round trips to the coffee shop and no more coffee cups to add to the landfill.

We had the latissima one because it had the milk steamer built in, the problem with that machine is that it would not steam the milk hot enough and the steamer component was difficult to clean. This machine however has milk temp settings and makes a nice hot latte.

It is also so easy to clean up since the steam wand self purges. It is also a beautiful machine. I am really impressed and love it so far!.

I have had my machine 12 months now and now I feel this is best time to write a review now rather than jumping to quick conclusions after just a few weeks. Well it looks great and makes the kitchen look smart like all Sage products.

It is very easy to use by selecting what type of coffee you want and very easy to adjust the settings for each option. You can select how much froth you’d like on your milk, how hot you want and the strength of coffee by varying the water content per pod.

Once you have your preferred settings you never really touch it again. The steam wand is very easy to clean as it runs a clean cycle after every use which is nice to see and the catch tank in the base holds quite a bit of waste water until you need to empty it.

Some people may complain the wand needs manually cleaning quite often I would tend to disagree as I use my machine several times a day and I would say I would not really want to leave it much longer before been asked to clean it, after all this is milk it is sat in and I find by the time the machine asks you to clean it which is only a one minute job anyway, yes the 4 small holes need cleaning out with the tool but the rubber o-rings really want cleaning anyway as the self clean can’t do them anyway.

All in all the whole process of cleaning the tip with the tool and o-rings plus running the clean wand program takes between 1-2 minutes so we are not talking a big job. Also the machine will ask you once every 4-6 months to descale the machine, this again is very easy step by step process on the digital display and only takes about 10 minutes but the more you do this the better the machine will perform and last in the long run.

Complaints I read about coffee not been hot enough is either their machine is faulty or not maintained properly or they are are wanting it at 100 degrees? After all coffee should not be that hot. I would not want my coffee any hotter personally for me.

For me this is a great machine my only complaint with this model is you cannot brew the coffee and steam the milk at the same time but they now have a new model that can do this but it comes at a premium price.

Would I buy another one after 12 months of use? Yes! All in all I love it and it is easy to use and looks great!.

After a year or so admiring this machine, finally ordered it. Looks wise, it’s stainless steel and compact for countertops. While it’s a smaller water reservoir (coming from a Keurig), it doesn’t use a lot of water as portion sizes are smaller than an American cup of coffee.

Can select coffee strength, although not temperature. Coffee so far has come out at the right temperature. Hot enough to enjoy, yet not scalding hot where you have to wait for it to cool off. You can select the temperature of the milk frother.

Screen isn’t truly all color. More grey, with some color when brewing cycle status symbol is on. Only complaint, it’s somewhat loud when brewing, but it’s most likely the pressure being pushed through the capsule.

I bought this machine in October 2020 and it hasn’t put a foot wrong in all that time. The coffee is always spot on with no burnt or bitter tasting like some coffee machines. It’s easy to get Nespresso compatible pods for it that are as good and better than the original Nespresso pods.

The wand purges itself free every cup of coffee and then we wipe it down with a damp cloth. We have descaled it when prompted to do so. It seems good quality and very robust and we have been delighted with it.

Also, it was a Which magazine Best Buy. I am now looking to buy another one as a house warming present for my son but, having read some of the reviews, I’m somewhat hesitant. The wand steamer/milk frother blocking seems to be a recurring theme but from purchases made much more recently than we bought our coffee machine.

I am beginning to wonder if the quality has gone downhill or the quality control is not as robust as it was. Th machine is actually cheaper than when we bought ours so the price is very attractive. (I don’t understand people saying they’ve had them repaired within the guarantee period – I would definitely have asked for a refund or replacement.

) It’s a good looking machine (we have the stainless steel one) and has a relatively small footprint on the worktop. Based on my own experience with the coffee maker I think I will buy another one but, if it does break down within the year, I will tell my son to exchange for a different machine.

Loved the look and coffee from this machine but it’s short lived because the machine then goes wrong. Machine 1-within 2 months use (1-2coffees a day) it kept saying the frother spout was blocked. When ‘unblocked’ (doing this multiple times each use) the milk would be lukewarm.

JL replaced swiftly and a replacement arrived. 3 months in and issues started on the replacement machine. Constantly saying it needed de-scaling or the spout unblocking. Tried soaking the spout in washing up liquid and hot water, taking it all apart etc etc but no better.

Called JL who this time said I’d need to go to Nespresso direct, as the warranty was with them. I didn’t realise this upon purchasing and because I’d had no issue with the previous return it was a bit of a shock.

Dutifully called Nespresso to be told that I was probably not maintaining the machine correctly and that my preference settings were the issue? And also that I’d need to use whole milk? All very bizarre.

The lady said she’d order me a new frother spout but then actually it was out of stock and might not be back in stock for 2-8 weeks. Called JL to express my disappointment. The representative was apologetic but said nothing she could do.

Complained via email and eventually after much wrangling have managed to secure a return and e-credit. Be wary of ordering this machine as the warranty is not with John Lewis and Nespresso were rude and difficult to deal with when trying to sort the problem.

It’s a shame, as when working, it’s great!.

I purchased this unit about two weeks ago. The first unit had an issue and had several discussion with the manufacturer of and eventually they got me to take it back to the Retailer. I took the second one home only to find it had a similar issue, but was told about a set up issue from the manufacturer.

Once operational its the best thing since sliced bread. I had a Breville Coffee maker so I am used to them. The Pod system is so so good. It brews faster no selecting double or single wall coffee holder one or two cup holder.

Just put in the Pod and select the strength and wham about 15sec later coffee in mug. Put the milk into the Jug fill to suggested level, select the milk / froth type and 30secs later all done. Pour milk into coffee and its done.

So fast so easy so nice.

The machine makes good, hot coffee. However, the mechanism is rather clunky to operate. The water tank is flimsy with plastic catches that can easily break. The tank does not hold a lot of water and there is no warning when it is empty.

There is no on/off switch if you do not want the machine still heated for nine minutes after use – I use the wall socket switch. It is about £50 more expensive than similar machines, and not as good as Magimix Nespresso, but one is stuck with few options in this price bracket if one is keeping with the original shape capsules.

The deal clincher for me was JL’s free three year guarantee. I have had £500 machines that have failed and would have cost £200 to have fixed, so the guarantee has sold it to me and the fact the coffee is a good temperature.

I suffer the limitations of Krups having enjoyed the features and quality of much better machines.
