20 Best Neck Wallet For Travel (2023 Updated)

I was a little hesitant to switch from my old leather bi-fold wallet, since that is the type I’ve always used for many years. After seeing more ads for various minimalist wallets, and seeing a couple in person, from friends who have them, I decided to look into buying one.

Consumer Reports was my first place to look, and I saw how the Ekster Senate wallet received the best reviews from Consumer Reports. After watching countless You Tube videos, comparing various brands of minimalist wallets against each other, the choice was clear to me to go with Ekster.

At this point it was only a matter of choosing one of the many different styles of Ekster wallets, and I chose the Carbon Forged wallet. While it’s only been a couple of weeks since I switched from the old bi-fold, to the Ekster, I already notice how much nicer the Ekster feels in the (front) pocket, as compared to the old bi-fold, not to mention how much unnecessary items I had been carrying around in the older wallet.

There are some accessories in which I have been looking at buying, to go along with my new Ekster, but for now, I’m just happy to be getting used to enjoying my new (and first) minimalist wallet. I realize there are some minimalist wallets on the market that provide more ads, but do yourself a favor and carefully do your own research, and I think you’ll end up getting an Ekster for yourself.

Distinctive look and what appears to be a solid black (not painted) plastic pinky lever, means this thing is going to look good for a looooong time. On my previous Ekster, the Interior rubber sidewall glides that run the length of the wallet, eventually pulled away from the rigid frame at the entry point (top)-thus making it tricky for cards to slide properly.

Some strong glue applied with a toothpick, did the trick. I imagine this will happen with the Carbon Fiber too. I would like to see a better integration of the tracker card. It seems more of an after thought option.

Having a quick way to search for your wallet is an awesome thing, but wouldn’t it be even better if that tracking device was a part of the wallet…. I ended up using some double sided tape (you don’t need a lot-1/4 inch square pieces on each corner) and attached my tracker card to the back of my holder (my wallet is always in my right front pocket).

By doing this, I was able to shelf the external cash strap and backplate that comes with the cardholder. When reaching in my pocket to grab my wallet, the position of the attached tracker immediately helps me orient the holder.

This is by far the best wallet out there. Since we are headed full steam toward an electronic payment society, the sooner you let go of cash, the more valuable and convenient this wallet becomes.

I will honestly say, I’ve been holding back on upgrading my badly beaten up wallet. When I finally was ready, I was to late to earn the free money clip that was there as a bonus with a wallet purchase.

That was a bummer but I guess I took to long. I went ahead and purchased the Aluminum Cardholder in a metallic Silver with the Tracker Card. Both items actually came in 2 days sooner than scheduled which was awesome.

This wallet… is pretty damn slick. It’s thin, not bulky and the built feels very durable. It has a awesome overall look. I was actually impressed. I slipped 6 cards in the slot. Activated the tracker card and placed it under the additional exterior slot.

It still feels slim. Works smoothly and DEFINITELY my kind of wallet that feels like it takes up minimum space in my pockets(front or back). Especially good for keeping a minimal look for a night out at the bars instead of a bulky wallet in the back pocket.

Fits well with my skinny jeans. The ONLY thing I wish I could change is switching out the ‘sliver’ (I think) rubber band for a ‘black’ band instead. Just because I feel like it may bother me if the band looks or gets dirty and will stand out on the silver band rather than in a black band.

Other than that it’s definitely recommended.

This is the perfect wallet. I cannot think of a single way to improve the Ekster AirTag Wallet. I’m so happy someone took the time to design this, and do so with the best quality. I already had the non-AirTag version of this, but switched the moment I saw this was available and I’m so glad I did.

I will never lose my wallet again! What a relief as someone who has lost his wallet at the worst of times. I also used to think this design wasn’t enough space for my busy wallet needs, but it really is.

You would be surprised just how much you can fit in it. You also get compliments all the time with this snazzy design. A big recommendation from me!.

The wallet replaced my current wallet as it was become quite bulky filled with receipts as it had empty space. I had kept extra cards, partly because I was too lazy to clean it up as I didn’t need to given that there was still space.

Switching to this wallet has allowed me to declutter the “baggage” I was carrying and be more organized. I am amazed how much fits in the small footprint. I am also thankful that I will not “misplace” my wallet as the air tag keeps me in the “know”.

I know that some find the air tag position to be a hinderance, but I have not been bothered. I found it helpful as it gives me an added texture for my grip.

I’ve been a BIG fan of Rogue Wallets, ever since I discovered them a few years ago. I’m now on my third Rogue wallet; it goes everywhere with me, and I’ve worn through two of them now, over the last 8-10 years — definitely get your money’s worth out of them! They are excellent wallets, and I love that I can tuck it in my front pocket and not have to worry about someone grabbing it out of my back pocket.

I also really appreciate that the wallet is RFID protected! As crazy as things are in this world with electronic theft of all sorts, it’s nice to know that I won’t lose my credit card information because my wallet can’t be scanned.

I now own two Rogue wallets, the Classic and the International Traveler. In general I like the wallets. They seem well made, and the front-pocket fit is great. But the credit-card slots are too tight and too shallow.

It is a struggle to fish any card out of the wallet, while the card in the bottom slot completely covers the card in the slot above it. Because of this design flaw, I’ll take my 30-year-old, beat-up, European-size wallet on all future trips abroad.

I haven’t used a wallet in years because I don’t like the feel of a thick wallet in my back pocket. I’ve been using a money clip in my front pocket and when I saw the Rogue design I wanted to give it a try.

What I really like about the construction is that it is very thin. I don’t carry much in it which keeps it no thicker than my money clip with a few cards and bills in it. The leather is very nice but I had to take one star away for the color of the leather.

It’s just very bland. it’s just not a very rich looking finish. I’m sure it will look better with age but I’ve seen much nicer finishes before. Other than the color I am very happy with my purchase and two friends have already purchased after seeing mine.

Good, sturdy quality, perfect for storing a couple of passports, and a nice touch to include a notebook and a slim pen. The wallet is great to carrying a few notes and cards as well. However, if you’re wanting to include any A4 printouts e.

g. confirmation documents for your travel, these don’t really fit well with this wallet. Even folded twice, 2 sheets of paper are too much for it to handle; the inner sleeve on the right side will bend to accommodate them, and then get trapped on the zip, causing it to get stuck when opening and closing.

Get it for passports and small slips/cards, but if you want something you can fold and put print-outs in, then look for something else.

didn’t do a very good job. Superficial ! The mold/ die is alright, the painting is poorly executed. It is a mass produced item of resin. Everyone is focusing at the name of the product and not at the quality.

Used this on a month-long trip to Paris and weekend trip to London, and it was PERFECT for airport and train travel. I kept cards and metro passes in the card holders, cash on one side, my passport (and my husband’s for the airport) in the other, and our vaccination cards in the small slit in the middle.

Super easy to get in and out of so no one had the opportunity to grab it while I was fiddling for payment or ID. And it fit in all of my purses, even my clutch. Only potential improvement – an small zipper for loose change, since Euro/Pence coins are so frequently used.

Regardless, it was exactly what I needed.

I searched high and low for a wallet that would hold my passport but wasn’t bulky or tacky. That’s hard to find. This is perfect. I’ve now switched it to my every day wallet. I am obsessed with it. I would’ve preferred a cognac color but I still love the black.

The only bad thing is that you really can’t use more than one card slot on each side or the magnets don’t work very well, but that’s not a problem because there’s a pocket for extra cards. I just took this to Croatia and it was so nice to be able to have my card and ID, currency, and passport all organized, separated, and in one place.

I bought this passport wallet just for day to day and it is exquisite! I love how it magnetically closes. It is so nice and thin (I hate bulky wallets) and the little back card holder is perfect for my metrocard.

It fits in my small purses much easier than the standard long wallets, but holds all the cards and cash I need. It is the envy of my sisters so you may have two more customers soon. I haven’t seen many wallets like this, except for this old slim Hermes one my cousin has that I’ve always coveted.

This one reminds me of that. The oxblood color is exactly what I’ve been wanting, and this is far cheaper than the Mulberry wallet that is similar which I was also considering. But Dagne Dover is woman of color owned so it felt like a better choice even besides the expense.

As someone who hates having things in my front pockets, I have been searching for a slim front-pocket wallet for a while now. I’d been using my previous for a couple of years now but it was still too bulky for my liking and the clip was starting wear, making ot harder to keep closed as time wore on.

I had been eyeing this wallet for a while and finally decided to give it a go. I’ve been very happy with my choice, even though I was hesitant previously. I’ve had wallets that supposedly fanned out your cards in the past, and what I ended up with was a pile of cards on the counter at the store.

So, I was a little nervous about the pull tab. But it works perfectly every time. It’s no issue getting the card out and getting it back to where it should be. I also really like the money clip. As with other slim wallets, my experience with money clips has always left something to be desired.

I don’t carry cash often but this week, I happened to need to carry cash and you barely notice it in your packet. I’ve even used it to carry business cards. Overall, this purchase has been very much worth it.

Honestly, I did not expect much from this wallet when I purchased it. My usual large full size bi-fold wallet has served me well for many years; however, I have noticed I started to get back pain when sitting with it in my pocket.

I started pulling it out of my pocket when sitting and before long I started leaving it placed. I was hesitant to try another front pocket wallet as the first I tried years ago did not serve me well.

I must say I have been pleasantly surprised by this wallet. It fits my wallet, carry permit, SS card, 5 credit cards and more cash than I ever plan to carry. It is light weight and very comfortable. I should have made this switch years ago, my back would have been much appreciative.

My conclusion, this wallet is somewhat pricey with the clip but in the broad spectrum of things it is well worth every penny. Very well built and comfortable. It gets a 10 our of 10 for me.

As soon as the black leather belts were back in stock I jumped on ordering the X4 stainless steel buckle and black leather gun belt. I already have the black and tan tactical gun belts for my casual EDC attire, but wanted a KORE leather gun belt for those special date nights.

You know what I’m talking about fellas. the times your wife makes you wear dress jeans instead of your favorite tactical cargo shorts that hides your knife, gun, and extra mag so well. So after wearing the leather belt for the first week to break it in, I got a lot of compliments on the belt from co-workers and friends.

(more so on the stainless steel buckle). And when I told my buddies it was a gun belt they flipped out even more and wanted to know more about KORE Essentials. I really like that leather belt is softer and more flexible than the tactical belts, because comfort is key when your forced to wear those once a year dress jeans.

So very happy I finally got the KORE X4 SS buckle/leather gun belt. but still not happy about the dress jeans.

I got a Trtl travel wallet last week and I am already loving it. The one thing that surprised me though, is it’s large size. It is wider on each side than a standard airline boarding pass and slightly longer.

This makes it great for keeping a passport, customs paperwork, boarding passes, etc in it. I am using it as a standard wallet and I really like the money pocket on the outside. Inside it has space for 6 credit cards and your driver’s license.

The license slot is easy to get the ID in and out of. It also has a keychain clip that snaps out but I don’t think I will use it much. What I am liking best is that since I just itemize my receipts for small business tax purposes, I have lots of receipts and I can slide them in without folding them.

I also keep my checkbook in it. The zipper seems very sturdy and the fabric seems water resistant and looks like it will hold up well to washing, although I haven’t done that yet. I am sure that the new iPhones would fit inside also, but I can’t test that out because I have a 6S, not the larger ones.

It’s important to note that the large size of this wallet means that it will just NOT fit inside a smaller purse. It really will fit best into a messenger bag, larger tote, or computer bag. I do wish it had more spaces for credit cards, but since it is so big I could always put another credit c Ars holder inside it.

This is a long wallet but fits nicely in my purse. I have put all my important cards and license from my bulky wallet to this one. Even fits my phone. I have found that I do not like to bring my purse inside the store, church or restaurant because it is very big but has things i need in it when I drive from place to place like mask, driving glasses, sun glasses, ets.

So when I go to a restaurant I can leave my purse in the car and just take this Trtl travel wallet. The strap to wear on my wrist is handy in crowded places.

I love this gorgeous luxurious looking leather cover. The craftsmanship is evident and even more beautiful in person. To me, it looks like some of those very expensive European leather covers that is a fraction of the price and made in the USA.

The leather is smooth on the outside and soft on the inside. It is also not too thick for my A5 Leuchtturm Bullet Journal edition 2. I ended up tucking in both the front and back cover and it fits my notebook like a glove.

I did end up putting a piece of washi tape on the part where you are supposed to pull the elastic through because the back cover of my journal was pushing out. This is only because I put the front cover ion by notebook in.

Otherwise, if you use it like it is intended then there are no issues. I’m very elated with my purchase and will be purchasing more in the future.

Nice design, excellent materials, well built (cut of pieces, stitching, assembly). Compact design was important as I was moving from a Saddleback Leather FPW to a traditional wallet. Overall it’s thicker due to leather on the outside vs.

just open pockets, but my cards are more secure. Well worth the investment.
