20 Best Multi Vitamin For Men Over 50 (2023 Updated)

I’ve been taking this multivitamin for years. This one provides the most complete combination of vitamins and minerals for a mature woman that I’ve found and which is a reasonable cost. I look for sales, too! It’s almost impossible for us women to get all the nutrients we need in our daily diet, since we eat less than men, and it’d be tricky to get all these nutrients in food every day.

So I take Nature Made’s multivitamin to ensure I get everything I need. It’s a somewhat large pill because it contains so much, but I’ve gotten used to it and have no problem. It’s not much larger than my Vitamin C supplement and it’s smaller than my Omega 3 capsule.

This did not work very well for me personally. There are very few vitamins that do not make me nauseous and get awful feeling and unfortunately this one did. I wanted to try one with iron even though I have read the this is what make most people not tolerate vitamins very well I had never tried one with iron however and have some health issues in trying to help so I figured I’d try it.

The pills don’t taste bad and are easy to swallow. You get a bunch in the bottle and only take one a day. Thankfully this was part of a buy one get one free del so I didn’t actually pay for it. By all accounts it looks like a decent multivitamin by a good brand it’s just not for me.

These caused severe heartburn for me (and I never get heartburn from anything). It was excruciating, as if my esophagus was on fire. When I attempted to cancel, the process proved to be a nightmare– FAQs tell you to find the account button in one place but it’s actually hidden at the bottom of the page.

If you manage to find it, you must then answer several questions (from a list of extremely limited options) justifying your desire to cancel; my problem was not included on this list. No consumer should trust let alone respect any company that makes it hard to cancel a subscription, especially when that subscription is for an egregiously overpriced vitamin that sets your GI tract on fire.

This company has obviously infiltrated the so-called blogosphere and leveraged every technique cognitive behavioral science has to offer in their marketing campaign and subscription model. Still, I find it extremely suspicious that negative reviews are few and far between: surely I can’t be the first person to have suffered from severe heartburn after taking these vitamins? So, I will be curious to see if this review even makes it on their website.

All told, the funniest and most telling part of this whole experience was the passive-aggressive cancelation confirmation email that read, “No hard feelings. ” In what capitalist hellscape would consumers ever be worried about whether a profiteering multivitamin company harbors “hard feelings” toward them for canceling a subscription to a product that caused harm? Besides, they’re wrong; some hard feelings definitely ARE in order here –– namely, the consumer’s.

I absolutely love how these ingredients were sourced and crafted to be vegan + environmentally friendly all while prioritizing your health. Beautiful, that extra step. You don’t need to use dead fish for fish oil because they literally get it from phytoplankton? W0w, who would have thought? However, the taste of the capsule is.

it ruins my day. And other reviews say it’s too minty – the reason it’s so minty is because they need to cover up the taste of the clear capsule they use. The capsule by itself literally has an aftertaste of concentrated wet dog a**.

It is SO gross. I dread taking it. I keep a couple bottles around for travel and whatnot, and I often have capsules that are a month or two old, some in different bottles without the mint bar, which really lets you taste the straight up capsule (EW).

Literally, have to take it with oat milk to not gag. Awful. You start to swallow, you think maybe it will be fine today, and then 0. 75 seconds later the aftertaste just uppercuts you to the throat. No other supplement company has this problem and plenty of them are vegan!! Please change what you use for your capsules, then you won’t need to flavor them, and you would only have 5 star reviews, even if they weren’t as perfectly clear.

Or if the citrus does actually cover this taste up better, freaking use that. That being said, I still take this pretty much everyday, alongside LYMA, which is a $200 supplement. I still take this one because as a vegan there’s some great ingredients in here that even the $200 supplement doesn’t have.

You guys are doing 90% of it right, just please change your gross moist dog-a** capsule. Thank you.

I’ve been taking Ritual prenatal for about four months and after about a month in I noticed pretty intense hair loss. I didn’t know why, so I went to the dermatologist for a full blood panel that came back good and healthy.

I thought maybe it was post-covid hair loss and didn’t think of the prenatal. After two months my husband pointed out it started around the same time I started on Ritual prenatal. So I took a month off of Ritual and used a different brand, and after about 4 days I was already seeing much much less hair loss.

I stayed on the other brand for a month and my hair loss went back to a normal amount. I really really wanted to love Ritual so I thought, let me try it again and see. I took it for a week and once again was losing massive amounts of hair.

I know a prenatal is supposed to make your hair grow, not hair loss, but this was my experience with Ritual. I did so much research and couldn’t find anyone else with a same issue, so maybe it’s just me and the Ritual formula didn’t sit right with my body.

But either way, I wanted to post this review in case another person is having the same issue. On another note, I liked that I could take this pill on an empty stomach and the citrus was really great!.

I have cancer and start taking these vitamins about four months ago. My lab numbers have gotten better. I take Iron (my white blood count is normal and my red blood counts are one point off from being normal).

My Iron has gotten better, not fully where they need to be just yet, but hopefully on the next test we will see my iron improve. I take Iron for anemia and for my blood counts. I take the one a day multivitamin, I take vitamin D to help with my bone health.

I take Magnesium to help with taking the iron, so I am not constipated, and I take turmeric and ginger to help with arthritis. My hip is not nearly as bad with taking the turmeric and ginger and my laboratory numbers have gotten better in just four months.

I am looking forward to seeing where my lab numbers will be in a year. I also started intermittent fasting around the same time (16 fasting/8 eating) so not sure which of these have made the greatest impact but with them together, I am hoping my condition improves over time.

I have been using the Whole Food Complete Multivitamin for almost a month now. I have tried many different multivitamins in the past and some have zero results and some have had noticeable results. Naturelo claims this one is a “beauty blend” to support energy, immune and skin health.

I have noticed a slight boost in energy. My skin was dry before and has remained dry – no change there. We have had some really extreme weather changes over the last month that would normally send my immune system into a tailspin.

Oddly, I have felt pretty great through it all. Even though it isn’t an advertised side effect on the bottle, there has been a significant change in my hair. I have oily roots which causes my hair to lay flat and since I have been taking these capsules, my scalp is no longer oily.

These capsules are the only thing I have changed/added to my routine, so it is hard to believe it is not related. Just in case it is, I am going to continue to take them daily. Overall, I am pleased and have had no bad side effects.

Personally, I have been consuming multiple vitamin formulas for 45 years. I intentionally switch brands every month. What is the rationale? Different makes, different formulas, different results. You wouldn’t perform the same exercises all the time, because eventually your body would stop responding, not to mention your mind would become bored, and you would stop being motivated.

Shouldn’t the exact same approach be applied to nutrition? Why take the same supplements all the time, when you can deliberately, mix things up a bit? Most men generally like the idea of a multiple, and most men like the idea of one a day dosage.

This has nothing whatsoever to do with the (hugely successful) “one-a-day-vitamins” advertising campaign of the 1970’s. Think of it this way. Women who want to freshen-up can re-apply a fragrance at several times throughout the day, but most men want to apply a fragrance once in the morning and that’s it.

They want the effects of that fragrance to last all day. Applying this formula to supplementation, one could argue that it might be more efficient to provide the human body with smaller doses of supplements, perhaps three, four or five times throughout the day, but let’s be perfectly frank.

How practical is that type of a dietary regime for most people? As an afterthought, it is interesting to note that, while we have personally witnessed MANY health and fitness fads come and go over the years, GNC is still going strong, even after decades.

I have taken Garden of Life multi vitamin products for women for years, but recently purchased this product: vitamin code 50 and wiser. There was an issue with the outside of the number of the capsules where there seemed to be an irregularity/ hard to explain, but almost a wrinkle / unevenness that made me uncomfortable.

I wanted the company to know for obvious reasons and called and explained the situation along with providing them with pictures. I didn’t assume there was any tampering, but I was certainly not going to take them.

Also, I had never seen anything like this before and I’ve been taking vitamins for many years. To try an keep their response brief, they sent me coupons in very small amounts to be used on further purchases basically ensuring I would have to buy many products in the future with a minimal credit.

I did not expect this and emailed back how dissatisfied and disappointed I was with this “resolution” and how I have been s customer for a long time. They basically responded that they stand behind their quality control and their decision, but that I was free to return the product for full refund.

Problem is, I cannot remember where I purchased them, I’m almost certain it was on-line, and am having trouble finding that information which is unusual for me. I may give them one more chance to do the right thing and replace or refund completely, but I believe they have lost a long term customer.

I would suggest taking prenatal vitamins as opposed to just a multivitamin because they have everything we need and more and in greater quantities but as far as multivitamins go Women’s One A Day have been my favorite.

For starters they are easy to take, One A Day easy peasy but I know some women do find it difficult to swallow pills, I don’t have any problems swallowing pills even larger ones as I had to get used to that due to the size of some of my prescription medications.

These vitamins are affordable, sold over the counter at any store basically and have a sufficient amount of all the vitamins we need as women in them, sufficient enough that after about a week of taking them I felt more energy and an overall sense of feeling healthier all around.

There was no taste or after taste to deal with so that is always a plus. I know many women report that these multivitamins make them nauseous but there is an easy way to avoid that side effect 1. Read the directions and follow them 2.

The directions say to take this vitamin with food and plenty of water-this is because the vitamins and minerals in this product can cause nausea it does not mean that it’s not good for you though our body is need these vitamins and minerals and are not used to getting them at the proper amounts! Everyone’s body is different and it can take some getting used to be consistent take them daily take them with a full glass of water and after eating a meal! Not just a light snack but a meal will keep the nausea side effect at Bay.

Overall I would recommend this vitamin to anyone although I see no point in not getting the extra vitamins and minerals found in prenatals!.

Honestly, I couldn’t tell at first if this was working or not. I just wanted to make sure I was getting all the vitamins and nutrition I could. This is a great general supplement, it has almost everything you could ask for.

After a few weeks, I started to feel really great. Like happy and energized. I also started to look into other “gummy” supplements that advertised “healthy skin” and “clear complexion” etc. , but when I looked at this supplement facts grid, i see all of those ingredients already here with this one and the other gummy ones were missing some.

This one’s all encompassing, which makes me feel really good about my purchase. I feel this is a great step in the right direction toward healthy happy life. It shows in my face, on my skin, in my attitude.

Weird how stuff that you put into your body makes you feel certain ways, but that it’s true!.

I ordered three packages and it came really fast by OnTrac shipping. I ordered these because they didn’t have a high percentage of vitamin K in them. It’s hard to find multivitamins without K. I wanted potassium and magnesium but these don’t have any.

I had a hard time finding vitamins that had a low level of K that also included magnesium or potassium so I’ll have to keep on looking or buy those separately. I also wanted vitamins that were easy to swallow and these said petite, but they weren’t very petite.

They’re more like medium size. I wish they would actually make small tablets. Three a day wouldn’t be unreasonable one with each meal if they are just easier to swallow. I don’t like horse choker pills.

While these aren’t that big, I don’t care for the oval shape.

Seems like a decent multivitamin, but any positives are wiped out by the inclusion of completely unneccessary food coloring. Red 40 Lake and Yellow 6 Lake. I just have to ask, why? Does anyone looking for a multivitamin really care about the color? And even if color was important, a plant based color could be used.

I’m baffled by this multivitamin. My fault for not reading the full ingredient list.

It’s hard to find a vitamin any more that has iron, but this one does. If you have mild anemia, like I do, this can help. It contains only 8 mg, of iron, but if you’re going to take on a daily basis this is all you need.

I have taken these for years. I am an active 65 year old man and these have served me well. This vitamins hits the essentials. When I can no run 6-8 miles a day, I will switch to the 50 mens vitamins.

Good vitamins. Contains also garlic, good voor many things, not only the heart and veins (garlic makes the blood thiner), but also for internal bad bacteria/infections etc. The vitamins and minerals in it are strictly necessary for everybody, every day, so I take one tab every day with mine main (which is the only one) meal.

Because I buy it here and take it for so many years, I don’t feel different today because of it, than 1 year (or more) ago, so I can’t add anything new for this product now, than my older review about it years ago.

One thing is important to know though, I never been sick again (if anything) since I take this product. If it’s from it only or from all the other supplements together I keep buying here, who knows? I keep ordering here because it goes well with my health.

Love them. They are GOOD, and have everything I need and more. Like all the extra herbs and things that other vitamins dont have. I have spent more money for other 50 plus, vitamins, but these are the best so far! They include more herbs and things that we need, but other manufacturers seem to omit from theirs.

i rated this a 5 star due to the surplus of different nutrients found in this mixture that you don’t find in other multi-for men. The only thing that i’m not too pleased that this doesn’t carry is vitamin K-2 which is good to help with the metabolism of vitamin D but i suppose the magnesium does help there.

Also this contains a good amount of selenium and given that this requires two daily tablets this helps to spread this throughout different eating sessions allowing for this to stay in your system.

I ran out of my multivitamin when I was making a purchase at the Online Drugstore so I thought I would get something here until I purchased my usual brand, Centrum Senior for Men. Well low and behold to me when I compared the two, Nature’s Truth is almost the same, ingredient for ingredient.

It was a little cheaper, too. So what would a bargain shopper do ? Stock up ! As a bonus they are also made in the Great State of New York. What’s not to love.

High quality ad and a reasonable price

Being in my mid 20s and starting to deal with certain health issues I knew my body wasn?t going to handle all the wear and tear I put on it so I decided taking Vitamin and supplements. I did some research and found out how most vitamins are made in labs and most of the nutritional value are synthetically made.

I came across the PLNT brand by walking in one day and I can say that I am addicted. After researching Fermented Vitamins I can say that I definitely feel more comfortable taking vitamins that come from natural fermented process.

Now as direct benefits, you can?t just take these alone and expect your life to change most of us are deficient in various vitamins so along with these I take other supplements and kind of created a regiment for myself.

My new favorite Multies. I got them as part of Influenster and Vitamine Shoppe VoxBox, the review is my own and based on using them for about a month. Excellent product for. my morning routine, I usually get more lazy and tired around fall-winter months and these are keeping me more energized during this time.

My favorite part is that they are natural and from real fruits and veggies without any artificial stuff in it. Small and very easy to take capsule and doesn’t have the usual after taste. Also compere to similar products the price is very good, about 15$ lower then my usual brand.

I unfortunately caught COVID last year and have since been dealing with the effects of long covid, a lot of deficiencies. I picked this up to get back into taking daily vitamins, but was really let down by how much this vitamins DOESN’T do.

I usually take Solgar multivitamins, which does a much better job at helping me sustain energy and take on the day. The One A Day vitamin didn’t do that for me. I took it for a full month before purchasing Solgar again.

I think this may be more suitable for the individual that gets *a lot* of vitamins in their diet or may already take individual vitamin supplements in their routine as well. #Health #Vitamins #MensHealth.

I am for a reasonable approach to taking food supplements, you need to understand that these are not food products, and do not need to be taken constantly. I believe that they should be taken only when there is a need for it, take a certain period of time, and when the problem is solved, stop taking it.
