20 Best Mop For Cleaning Walls And Ceilings (2023 Updated)

While this Rejuvenate Microfiber Mop Kit With Reusable Microfiber Pads does an adequate job cleaning my tile floors, I am not overly enthusiastic about the quality and performance. The metal portions are super lightweight and the plastic portions are not the best quality, leaving the overall appearance to be of lessor quality than other Rejuvenate floor cleaning products I have owned.

Assembly was simple once I figured out that the instructions were written on an inner flap of the box it came in, and not on a separate piece of paper. The diagram showing how to attach the pads pictured the top of the base, rather than the bottom where the pad actually attaches.

I will say that once I attached a pad, it remained firmly in place. I also appreciate that the 17″ base is larger than similar floor cleaners. The White microfiber dusting pad and the Blue microfiber cleaning pad are fairly thick, but the Gray microfiber restoring pad is very thin and the one I received had a few attached strings sticking out of it, as if it had been snagged on something before being put in the box.

While tags on both White & Blue Pads make them easy to identify, the Grey pad is labeled as a “cleaning” pad rather than a “Finishing” pad, which can lead to some confusion once the box with the instructions is discarded.

I have used the White Dusting Pad and will say that it was really dirty after dusting under my couch & shelf units. However, medications I am on cause my hair to fall out everywhere and I was disappointed at the lack of hairs that actually stuck to the pad.

I cleaned the pad by hand using dish soap and it was white as new with little effort. I then hung it on a hanger with clips and let it air dry. It retained it’s shape well. I found the swivel on this mop a bit difficult to manipulate.

While it does move in several different directions, I had to stop to adjust the grip portion a few times while dusting my tile floors. The cleaning pads are made for “direct to floor” cleaning solutions, which I did not have on hand, because I have been using another brand name mop, so I cannot speak to their effectiveness.

If half stars were allowed, I would have given 3 1/2 stars, because in spite of the negatives, it still got the job done.

I liked the Hurricane Spin Mop when it first came out years ago and had not need to replace it! Unfortunately, the pole that was attached to the base broke while I was trying to replace the mop head for the first time ever so I had to purchase this replacement.

I really felt that it was a gimmick to make it so difficult just to replace the mop head. The new replacement is very similar to the original one but all material used are not as good as before. The mop head material is thin and pieces of it came off after using it for the very first time and more came off after each use.

I will try other similar products should this one dies which I estimate to be very soon!!.

If you are tall this non-Telescoping handel is not ideal. If your tall look for a telescoping handel or make sure it’s long. Other than that this product is amazing. I can wash all my walls/cabinets and then my floors.

These mops are both reasonably priced (vs the competition) and robust. They hold a great deal of water but once spun, they dry the floor well. The mop heads are easily cleaned and pretty long lasting and I use them with bleach all the time.

Normally I use my Braava from iRobot every day but about once or twice a week i mop with this mop so I know my floors are clean. Its easy to spin the mop head almost dry so you don’t have wet mop heads stored.

The heads can easily be tossed in the washer but I usually just rinse under very hot running water and they stay white and clean. The teeth in the bucket spin gears are probably the first thing to wear out but mine always last 3-4 years and when i start to notice the spinner skips, toss the bucket and replace.

I think this device gets my floors cleaner and more easily than any other wringer mop.

At first I had fun cleaning my wood floors, mopping up all the mess from dog paws, kitchen spills and drips, daily family whatever. Then one day I grabbed a paper towel, after mopping, to wipe up spilled water.

The paper towel was dirty. So I started testing. Post-mopping I would use dampened paper towels to wipe on various floor areas. They were always very dirty. So as far as I’m concerned the floors weren’t clean.

I don’t like scented products stinking up my house so I used 50/50 white vinegar/water. Same result. Used water with a little bleach. Same result. Bought the pads designed to scrub more. Same result.

I guess it makes sense. If I put pads on my hands and a bit of cleaning solution and scrubbed the floor without rinsing out or changing the pads…I’d just be moving around the dirt and dust. Now I’m looking for a sponge mop I can dip, scrub, rinse, etc like I used to.

Only I wish I could find one 3 to 4-feet wide, like some of the industrial mops. Sheesh.

Love this mop and so does my housekeeper!! Easy to use, love the self propelled feature. Easy to use, to fill. Pads last a long time. After a year, the mop wouldn’t hold a charge. Contacted the company and they replaced entire base.

The mop is pricey, but definitely worth the $.

I can’t speak for any other Nellie’s product, but the Wow Mop – while a good idea in theory, is utterly awful. I got my first one in July and initially LOVED it. Then the problems started. every use I had to start by putting a pin in the spray hole as it would either just dribble out, or shoot out to one side in a stream.

Then it stopped working all together. Luckily the Nellie customer service is good and they sent us a replacement mop. This one has stopped working in less time than the first – it turns on, but won’t spray anything.

We’ve had this one for not even 2 months and the charging port is already corroding (whhhhhyyyyyyyy is there and electrical element right beside a spray nozzle!? Regardless of there being a cover). For the record, I’ve only ever used either the Nellie’s floor cleaning solution or water with vinegar to clean my floors.

The best, by far, mop I ever purchased!, All you need is very small bucket for water. The mop is just right for getting any job done quickly and perfectly. I love this mop. Wish I had found it years ago.

Very hard to get wringer over wet mop. Had to wring out mop with my hands. Defeated the purpose of getting a wringer mop. Mop is good.

I have been using this brand and style of mop for the past five years. It is easy to use and cleans effectively. In the older the version handle kept coming apart as it was pushed in. I was glad to see that this new version has the handled fixed with a screw and hopefully will not come apart.

This dust mop is not accurate in its description. They say nothing about that pad being on the bottom. From the looks it looks like its all strands. First of all, there are only about 2-3 rows of the strands around the outside 1″ of the mop head.

Tha’ts it. that’s all. Just 1″!!! The rest is like a short pile oval that fills in the rest of the bottom area where there SHOULD be the microfiber strands. I have a German Shepherd that sheds like crazy all year long.

This thing won’t even pick up or grab the hair on the floor. I CAN say that is it very light weight. Probably because there are NO STRANDS! Don’t waste your money on this item.

This is the only mop I like. The pads are washable and last a long time. The mop head does un tighten sometimes but not a deal breaker for me. I bought extra pads to make clean up quick and easy.

Blue strings come out/ will not bend/ handle at an angle so you are always “mopping” with the front edge of the mop/ very cheap plastic and part of handle plastic is already missing a chipped out piece when opened/ just pushes dirt around, but doesn’t pick up on my laminate flooring.

Didn’t even last 3 months being used once per week before the plastic starting to give way and ultimately break. The refills are expensive and are durable but lose sponginess rather quickly and wont wring out.

The part that wrings out the sponge is a weak plastic and was unable to hold the roller part for long without snapping off. For the price it isn’t worth it. Back to a classic mop and a wet shop vac for me.

I have used this mop for years. If the terry cloth mop head is wrung out sufficiently, it wicks away the water and doesn’t leave water spots or streaks. I found the Swiffer pads are way to wet and leave unsightly traces on my floor.

I had to wring them out before using and they still didn’t do a good job.

I have been using since 2012. We were renting a house whose last tenants left a build up of greasy grime and dirt on the tiled kitchen floor. I tried so many products on it and still it was greasy. It took me nine months and then finally my e-cloth mop to finally have a squeaky clean floor with no residue! Then I cleaned with only water and trusted the cloths to get rid of the germs.

I do use a bit of eco-friendly products with them now because of children and a pet dog. I also use the cleaning cloths, window cloths, dusting cloths, kitchen wash cloths, and the baby wash cloths. They are all amazing and last for years.

The 2 mop heads are still in use after 9 years! And there are real people on the phone who are friendly and very prompt to resolve issues. In a world which customer service is no longer held to high standards, this company refreshingly cares to take care of their customers.

Throw away your swiffer and buy this! I have personally broken at least 3 swiffers in my lifetime because they’re cheap and the metal snaps in half eventually. Maybe I mop too hard? Maybe the swiffer stinks? Likely both.

Anyway, this deep clean mop is sturdy as can be and has a wider mop head that glides smoothly across the floor. The length of the mop can be changed easily (and wont be the fracture point that breaks like a swiffer!) and worked for both my average height self and tall boyfriend.

I haven’t washed my eco cloth yet but I’m sure it will turn out great like the rest of their products. I highly recommend this mop!.

Love this small, menuverable, sturdy and adjustable height mop handle. Perfect for getting in tight spots, corners and even gets an inch or so up the woodwork. Just wet the removerable velcro mop head, squeeze till damp, place on floor and press down with upper mop and begin mopping.

Rerinse, dirty mophead and continue as needed. No bucket or cleaner necessary unless you want it (good for those with allergies, asthma or chemical aversions). Germs and dirt gone. Microfiber mophead really lifts the dirt out of nicks and crannies better than paper or cloth.

Machine washable when needed over 300x. Pays for itself by saving money on paper type mophead replacements as well as being very ecologically friendly! Could last year’s. Even boilable to remove grease.

Have an older version of this mop from several years ago but needed a new one so took to ordering from e-bay. already used new one an it’s much better than the old one in that new mop has a solid hard surface on entire face of it not like my old one with just a rectangle with an x in it which gives quite a bit.

Glad to have purchased this and will keep it in mind when needing another one in a few years.

This purchase was a let down totally. What the picture shows seems to be a real heavy duty mop, well, it’s not. The material of the mop is made out of some cheap material, was expecting something more along the lines of good ‘ol cotton? nope! Don’t know the material but, it is already falling apart after three uses.

The place where you are supposed to connect the mop to the mop handle is not only cheap tin-like metal, the hole that connects the little arm to clasp it is bored out so that it looks like it will break at any use, in other words, the outside of the hole has very little metal to it leaving it vulnerable to pressure applied to the mop at any given time.

The clasp is not easy to clasp either, I had to get my son to do it because I thought I would snap the hole, hurts the hands to try and clasp it-not recommended for people with weaker hands.

Good mop, but not for the price. Metal is a bit flimsy. I thought I got a good deal. Went to Sams Club and they had a similar industrial mop for a fourth of what I paid for this one. However, the mop handle and head hardware was hard plastic.

I didnt look close at the quality of the mop at Sams. I still recommend this moo.

WOW, was I surprised when this arrived, this mop is huge. The construction is Top Self, the handle is 3/4 inch thick hardwood, and the mop attachment is really constructed well, and is galvanized to boot.

So easy to use and put together. I’ve been using it for about a month now and have had no issues. I love that when I twist it it doesn’t make the loud clicking noise so I can mop late at night or early mornings when the kids are sleeping.

The strings haven’t frayed or become disgusting after mopping and stink so that is a huge plus as well on this mop!.

I really like how thick the stringy things on the mop head are. They hold water well, but then spin out easily. It retains just enough water to easily clean the floor, but doesn’t make it all wet and smooshy.

First off I have never used a steam mop before, I did my research not only text info but YouTube as well. I thought I was ready to take the plunge on the steam mop. My tile grout doesn’t look so pretty and it’s only 8 months old and I was trying every type of mop nothing worked.

I had such high hopes for this. I also figured go with the one that is a bit pricey you get what you pay for type of thing. I was wrong. I cleaned up a test area filled the tank and waited for the heat up.

And tested it out. I did not like how you have to remove the cover to use the other side when it looks like you scan swivel it to the other side nope doesn’t work. I didn’t like the amount of steam that was coming out when on high.

Didn’t seem like enough to be considered high. The pad does not pick up dirt that well. It doesn’t scrub the stuff off the grout. I ended up returning this because of the fact steam would go for a second and then stop to re heat up every few seconds I felt like one room would take me all day to clean.

The pad didn’t do its job. I went and got the other shark steam mop the basic one that you pump I used that one over what the other one did and with in a second that grout was clean. I don’t mind the pump to steam.

It steams a thousand times more and actually cleans the new one I got did all of the floor in more than half the time the other. Currently the new one I got is less than 60 dollars.

With Covid19 and the heightened concern about cleanliness, I got this Shark Professional Steam Pocket Mop. And WOW!!! What results did I see!! I have been using that other spinning rinse mop and bucket you see everywhere and I thought I was getting a good clean BUT was I so so wrong.

After using my usual spinner mop to clean the hard flooring surfaces of my house, I came back and used this Shark Professional Steam Pocket Mop. I could not believe the level of dirt that the spinner mop left behind as the dual sided cleaning pads where so soiled.

The GOOD: I live with a husband, 2 kids and two cats, so it gets messy in our house! The Shark does clean very well. It also cuts cleaning time down of about 800 square feet of tile kitchen/breakfast nook, 2 hallways, bathroom and walk-in pantry to about 20-30 mins, when previously it took over an hour with a mop and bucket.

Can’t beat that! It means I clean more often to keep the dirt down. I don’t use the Shark mop on my hardwood at all. The BAD: The worst part is that the mop doesn’t stand up on its own! It’s incredibly annoying and if I don’t prop it right it slams to the ground.

I have never owned a steam mop so maybe this is obvious to some, but it makes it really tricky to fill the reservoir as well as switching out the pads during cleaning. I bought extra pads, it comes with two double sided pocket pads, but that’s not enough for my area.

It kind of stinks when it’s running, like an industrial plastic smell. I think the smell is coming from the reservoir. I can’t figure out how to get the smell out since it’s advised not to put in cleaner or vinegar into the reservoir.

I hope this products lasts but I wont be buying a Shark mop again and I don’t think I can recommend it. I bought it full priced too, so I’m disappointed.

After my swiffer broke, I went on a search to find something similar, but with microfiber cloths and made of better materials. I love that this mop is made of bamboo and has a button to release the microfiber pad.

I’ve used other mops that didn’t have a release button and it was a pain and messy to change pads. I also love that I can use whatever cleaning solution that I want. The pads are a nice size and save me from using so many throw away pads.

What used to take 5 throw away pads, now only takes 1 microfiber pad. My only suggestion is microfiber pads that are two sided-that way you can get more cleaning from one pad, thus being more efficient than it already is.

I had my Mighty Mop for a few years now. I wanted something natural, light, and simple. I love you can use it wet+dry, I would suggest to get extra pads. My arms are short so I like the long pole to reach under furniture.

I love this item. It’s durable and the design is so simple it swivels so well under edges and around the room. The cloth is a cinch to get on and off and it’s easy to swap out with a dish towel if this one is in the laundry.

Importantly, it helps me kick disposable cleaning supplies. Highly recommend.

Mr. Clean stopped carrying the refill pad for my last butterfly mop, so I had to purchase this one to replace it. First thing to note: the mop head is designed too tall to even fit under the cabinets in the kitchen, you can’t reach from any angle to mop under the cabinets.

Lastly, plastic parts of the mop head snapped off while using the lever as directed to squeeze the mop pad during the first use. Terrible quality, waste of money.

This mop is awesome! I love that I can wash all my floors including my hardwoods with this mop, but still get up tougher areas with the Magic Eraser scrubber on my tile and vinyl floors. With the old mop, I could only wash my tile and vinyl floors with it since you can’t use Magic Erasers on hardwood.

Finally, I can pair down my mop collection to just one mop!.

This product is great. I love that’s it’s easy to throw a pad on and clean my floors. It definitely saves me a lot of time. I have multiple floor surfaces and it has work great on them all. Leaves my floors nice and clean with no streaks.

The only negative for me was when I was putting it together the holes did not match up. I ended up returning it and getting a new one with the same problem. I had to make hole bigger just so it would break when I cleaned.

I’ve only used the wet pads to clean our laminate floor so I can’t comment on the dry pads. PROS: The wet pads smell great and the floor looks and feels clean. CONS: – The sectional handle is very thin aluminum and feels very flimsy.

Feels like it could easily break. – It takes effort to keep the mop head from flipping upside down when pulling it towards you. Pushing away from you is never a problem. – The pads are too wet out of the bag (dripping wet), but they have no moisture left after about 150 sq ft.

I used 3 pads the first time I used it. I now squirt the pad with little water before it gets completely dry, and it still seems to clean just as well. MIXED: I like the XL size but I have had some difficulty finding replacement pads in stock.

CONCLUSION: The design of this particular Swiffer does not meet my needs or expectations, but I like it much better than the microfiber pad and Bona spray I was using before. I am going to invest in a higher quality Swiffer with a solid handle, reusable pads and the attached spray bottle.

I really like this starter kit and the fact that it’s for dry and wet purposes. It truly is a starter kit containing the actual xl sweeper, 2 packs of 4 dry clothes and 2 packs of single wet packs. The sweeper does need to be put together but it’s simple and easy to do basically just putting poles into place.

After that you just attach the pads and are ready to go. I like the wet for the tougher stains that require more than just a sweep and with kids and dogs I find I need that quite a bit haha! It’s lightweight and easy to store,I like putting the head up and flat against the pole for maximum space saving.

I love that it’s an xl so it’s longer,wider, and makes cleaning faster but still very thin and that it can rotate 360° making it super easy to clean harder to reach areas like under my radiators which can be hard to get under.

I’m really glad they make a kit like this because it’s great to have the sweeper and each method to try with it so you can see what works best for you.

I have travertine tile throughout the majority of my house. So after a couple of days, it’s imperative that I sweep. I used to use an old fashion broom, but that was taking too long. So I purchased this dust mop and it makes it go by a lot faster.

On here ordering a new one as plastic pin that holds foot on broke but can’t complain because have used it everyday for 17 years to clean up after 4 cats 3 dogs and 2 birds. I had put a long screw in where the pin that broke was but the casing for the pin is giving out now.

If Libman would fix this issue I think this mop would last forever. Love having cleaning pads that can be washed so not just moving dirt around. I have five pads and use 2 or three of them if mopping a larger area.

I also like that they are not velcro so fit well and stay in place. Hope the new one is as good as old one. Rare to fine anything of quality today!!!.

This is my favorite mop. The mop heads are easy to clean so can be used and reused. They collapsible design makes it easy to get the mop heads on and off. Perfect for kitchen, bath and hardwoods. I just moved and didn’t bring my old handle with me and was disappointed in the couple other brands I blought to replace the libman.

So happy to have found this one at walmart.

I didn’t want to buy separate wet and dry mops, so took a chance on this one. I didn’t know about Libman products before this. I like it’s large pad, the way it easily glides along edges, and how it swivels on it’s own when it needs to.

The pad washes out easily even by hand. I bought an extra one as well. When using it in dry mode, it picks up debris very well. The only down side is having to remove the pad to dip it back into the water and squeeze it before continuing to wash the floor.

But my apartment is only 600 sq feet of laminate flooring and some tile, so this is not really a problem. So I wouldn’t recommend it for wet mode if you have a floor area of over 1000 sq feet, unless you have a lot of patience.

Also, unlike another reviewer, the pad stays flat on the floor both in wet and dry mode. And I like the quality of the pad. It is also light and easy to move around.

OMG. where were those products before? I couldn’t wait to test it this mop out. Unpacking and assembling is very easy. Very good is that the handle can be adjusted to a certain height. I tested the mop on vinyl flooring and it turned out very great.

With 3 cats in our household this mop is a lifesaver. The mop cloth can be easily washed out in a sink. Very good option for people with a back restrain. Only can recommend this product.

This mop works exactly as advertised. Best thing about it is no cleaners have to be used. No matter what I used on my wood floors, I had to rinse/wipe repeatedly to avoid streaks or film on the floor.

This not only cleans the floor better than cleaners, but leaves no residue. Very happy with this mop and have ordered the cleaning cloths for other house cleaning chores.

I gave this product a 3 because the handle does not stay in place. The replacement pads are expensive and sorry to say that, in my opinion, the price does not justify the quality of this product. I have used cheaper mops that were less expensive and just as good–even better.
