20 Best Moisturizer With Spf For Bald Head (2023 Updated)

This is my absolute favorite sunscreen. I can’t use a straight chemical sunscreen due to having sensitive skin and it’s so hard to find a good mineral combo sunscreen. This dries down all the way so you don’t feel greasy.

I can rub in all the way and reapply without it pilling. There is a slight white cast when you first apply but it mostly goes away once fully set. I am a fair-light skin tone and in some lighting throughout the day I can still see a little bit of cast.

I haven’t tried putting makeup over it so no clue how that would work. It also is not water resistant so if you are sweating a lot or in water this is not ideal for those outside activities.

This used to be my go-to morning holy grail moisturizer for my sensitive skin. Unfortunately, Olay made a mistake and reformulated it. I bought two new bottles and applied the same amount as normal. My skin is now breaking out and feels taut – in fact my skin texture seems to have been changed all around by this product.

It made my skin rough and more irritable, so I will sadly be switching to another moisturizer from another company. I put it on this morning and decided to just wash it off and applied Cerave because it felt so terrible.

Truly very disappointing to read this same experience from others in the review section. Bring back the old formula!.

On first glance I thought it would be too rich for my skin but it isn’t. The white, opaque, medium stick moisturizer is rich & creamy but still light & refreshing. It has a subtle tea & herbal scent I find refreshing.

Absorbs well & doesn’t leave a white cast. Layers well under makeup & doesn’t pill. My skin feels bouncier, is hydrated & soft with a glow. Love that this functions as a moisturizer & has spf so I don’t have to use two separate products.

Overall: I’m a HUGE fan of this perfect world moisturizer from Origins. It’s hydrating, provides spf 40 protection, layers well under makeup, & leaves my skin bouncy & soft with a glow. 5/5 for my oily, acne prone skin.

I feel the need to defend this product; many people are saying they are getting breakouts – please understand this is a product with a high SPF, much higher than typical moisturisers. Because of this, it is a much thicker cream, and feels much more like a traditional sun cream than a facial moisturiser.

The key with any product like this is to properly cleanse and wash your face every day to stop any build up or clogging of pores – just like you would do if you slathered your face with SPF or any other product.

The moisturiser smells divine (fresh and light), and only a small amount is required otherwise it will sit on the surface of your skin. A trick I always use is to apply moisturiser and then wait about 10 minutes to let it absorb in my skin, and then use a facial tissue to gently dab off any excess before applying foundation.

I have always used this technique regardless of the cream I have been using. I have acne prone skin and have had no issue with this product because I cleanse/wash my face every day, and it is great to know I have a good SPF on my skin.

I would really recommend this product, but treat it like an SPF first and moisturiser second.

What are my thoughts for this product? The cream is heavier in texture compared to other products, it doesn’t necessarily feel thick and heavy, but it does leave somewhat of a mild greasy residue. I noticed that the cream gives the skin a bright sheen (just as it claims to do) after application and leaves the skin feeling soft once it has been absorbed into the skin.

It also sits well underneath make up and I did not notice a white cast with flash photography either, which is also nice considering the high SPF it contains. The moisturizer itself does have a light sun screeny scent to it.

Either way, the scent definitely disappears very quickly after applying. Furthermore, my skin did not break out from using this product and I found it to be gentle enough that even those individuals with sensitive skin can use.

The only concern I had with this product was that it did not give me the level of moisture I was looking for. This is definitely not a night time moisturizer by any means and was definitely designed as a day time moisturizer.

As I mentioned previously, I tend to have more drier patches in the winter months and this did not give me the amount of hydration I was hoping for this time of the year. However, for those with combination or oily skin types, perhaps would find this level of hydration to be enough.

Having said that, I can see myself using this product more so in the summer time when I know I will be spending lots of time outside and I am not looking for an intense hydration. Overall, it is a decent day time moisturizer, but I don’t see myself reaching for it too often (depending on the season) simply because it doesn’t meet my skin’s needs.

Ok. I was sent this to review. I tested this for 5 days. When I have ran out of product while in a small town like in North Dakota, I would turn to Neutrogena or Simple skincare till I could get products I was testing.

I have never used this moisturizer. I liked the smell. It smells like cucumbers to me. But when I looked up the ingredients they are synthetic fragrance. This is a definite no no. 💀 Already the ingredients have parabens in it.

💜 I try to stay away from any ingredients that is going to mess up my hormones or skin health. 💜Plus, it was not very moisturizing for me. It can be bought everywhere.

This product was given to me by my mother after she had some irritation with this moisturizer. I’ve been using this in the morning because of the SPF (I also use a second SPF 50 moisturizer after this).

So far, it seems to be doing fine. This product may not be the perfect formulation for me as I have combo skin, with my t-zone being mildly oily and my cheeks being dry. I also don’t really notice a white cast from this on my medium complexion.

All in all, it seems like a decent moisturizer + SPF from the drug store, but I don’t like how the SPF content is so low because I don’t feel like I can just use this product to get the appropriate sunscreen coverage.

Oh my gosh finding a sunscreen that works when you have acne concerns, combination skin, sensitivities and all that can be super tricky. I purchased this recently and am happy to say I am happy with it! 🤣☺️ I have been using this each morning and the consistency is nice; very light, little if any sunscreen smell, and blends within a few minutes.

It does not leave oil or shine and absorbs completely. I know that Neutrogena has other SPF moisturizers, but I am only using the 15 version because I did not want to risk having irritations from something higher.

The higher SPF the heavier the formula. This is perfect for everyday! Light yet protective. My face does feel moisturized, but not significantly. This is more of a sheer formula. If you have dry skin you may not find this enough for you.

Definitely worth a try though – under $10. 💕.

The lotion is light and non-greasy, and goes on silky with a slight sheen. Has a very light but pleasant fragrance. I can’t place the scent at all, but definitely not floral. Like that they are cruelty free – not tested on animals.

Husband is very pleased with it, just wish it came in a larger tube as this is so tiny. Also needs to be reapplied every 2 hours, and sooner if sweating or swimming, so would need constant attention if trying to protect a bare/bald head outside without a hat all day (so definitely wear a hat!).

This moisturizer has a unique look to it in that it stands out as bright yellow and black as opposed to the standard red or black colors. The product definitely has a “male” fragrance to it-like what you would expect with other “male” products.

It says it also helps with fine lines and wrinkles which is cool; it’s not just a basic aftershave moisturizer. It does look and go on like basic sunscreen. It doesn’t have a silky feel and thus the reduction of one star.

It smells good. It’s also nice that it’s got natural ingredients. My hubby likes it and have been using it more recently. It’s great that its got SPF and mosturizes at the same time. Even men needs a great skin care products like this to protect them and care for their skin.

It may not be his top choice ( a little on the expensive side for its small size) but it’s worth a try.

Mantl is an exceptional product. It is not only for men, but also women and children alike! The sunscreen is the only product my 3 children will use on their face and the coverage and sun/water resistance is fantastic.

We went to Hawaii for 10 days, applied maybe two times a day, and did not have any sunburned faces. We apply the sunscreen daily to not only our adult faces, but also the children. There is never a complaint about having to wear sunscreen anymore.

This stuff is the best! So grateful to have found this amazing product and will be a customer for life!.

I really enjoy this product. It applies very easy and there truly is minimal shine. My only gripe is the smell, which I do like, but not for everyday. I prefer a musk smell for evenings, which I use the anti age one a lot for evenings.

I like either low odor or a more citrusy scent for the days. But I highly recommend to anyone looking for a low to no shine face cream, especially if you’re bald like me, as I use it both for my face and head.

Hello, I’ve raised this issue numerous times in the past year or so, but see it has still not been resolved. I’ve contacted you to ask why the packaging is not marked for recycling. Seems like a serious oversight.

I’ve been told twice now by your staff that the early product packaging did not have the appropriate recycling symbols, but that all new product being issued would have the markings. 2 years on that is still not the case.

This stuff is THE BEST for sun block and after shave protection for my head. I use it mostly in the summer when it’s too hot for a hat or whatever else prevents that. But it’s definitely saved the dome a bunch of times.

Highly recommended for the summer. I switch back to the regular matte headlube for the rest of the seasons. And that’s great as well. Also, Bring back head wash!!!!!.

I started shaving my head years ago. The 50+ spf is just what I needed. I was using my wife’s Oil of Olay because I couldn’t find any men’s head cream with spf. September beach trip will give it a good test.

As a woman (38yo), I use this as my daily moisturizer. It’s better value at 100ml for $39 vs the woman’s marketed SPF moisturizer for 50ml for $38. Yes, the woman’s version has an SPF of 50, but who are we kidding? Anything over 20 and it’s just a marketing ploy for you to spend more money than you have to.

I find it spreads evenly. Some have called it greasy but I think it gives me a dewy look rather than greasy. Plus, it’s nothing makeup powder can’t fix! I don’t find it has an overly ‘manly’ smell either.

I usually only use Clinique products because of my allergies and skin sensitivities and their almost lack of scents, and this product is no exception!.

Wearing sunscreen regularly is the best way to prevent lots of skin issues including enlarged pores and wrinkles cause by sun exposure. I find it hard to persuade male members in my family to wear sunscreens, so this moisturizer really helps lol.

It is oilfree and smells nice. Highly recommend it.

Always struggled with dry patches on my face. Couldn’t find anything that suited me until I tried this. Absolutely brilliant. I apply after ever time I wash. It goes on very easily, not oily or greasy.

Lasts ages and my skins great. Please don’t tell anyone I use moisturiser lol.

I LOVE this product – it has really kept my skin protected and hydrated over the last couple years that I’ve been using it – including during the pandemic, when I’ve spent TONS of time outside with my little boys.

I’m just hoping this doesn’t get discontinued – ?! I’ve had a hard time finding it in stores lately. I’m also wondering/hoping if perhaps the active ingredients might be revised to not include octocrylene? (sunscreen ingredient recently shown to potentially be problematic.

). I haven’t been able to find anything that does the job so well and wears so nicely on my skin (not to mention – smells great!). Would love to be able to continue using this!.

I cannot say enough about this moisturizer. It is amazing. My skin absorbs this so nicely and my face feels so soft that I can’t stop touching my face. And the bonus is that it’s a sunscreen too. No white cast or greasiness, just a great product chok full of goodness.

I received this product complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This came as one part of a three part Old Spice kit. This product was tested by my husband: My lovely wife offered me the chance to try out Old Spice ‘s 1-2-3 scalp care kit and I was already flabbergasted.

Despite being bald and beautiful, I never had a “kit” for shaving. I like that the set was labeled 1, 2 and 3. Because, if you didn’t already know, all the elements of the kit were made to compliment each other.

Usually, I would have a loose collection of random supplies, because finding everything I needed in my neighborhood was impossible. So, yes, I jumped at the chance to try this out. After the final rinse, I dry and apply Number 3: the aftershave/sunscreen moisturizer.

It’s nice to have sun protection with your moisturizer. I don’t know if this was done on purpose but, 1 push on the applicator dispensed enough aftershave for my entire scalp. I’m not the flintiest of skin flints but was a comfort to know.

I am happy with the results. I look forward to finding this in stores or online.

My experience using OS Bald Scalp Moisturizer with SPF 25 sunscreen was awesome. I have a very dry scalp which can itch from time to time due to wearing hats and do-rags. After shaving I used this moisturizer, which gave my scalp great hydration and smoothness all around.

The scent is very refreshing and my scalp feels much softer after using just once. This moisturizer contains SPF 25 which will protect me hair from harmful sun rays, that leave sun and dark spots on my head.

I will continue to use this Old Spice moisturizer several times a week, so that I can continue to have the ultimate hydration.

This is part of a set and I actually enjoyed using it. The scent is faint but it’s definitely present. I’d love to see more scent options like they do with their more expensive line. This will definitely be put to good use as I shave my head quite often and think this is a solid choice.

This is part of a set of 3 items. The wash, the shaving cream, and the moisturizer. The moisturize is SPF rated and actually does a great job when used with the other steps or as a standalone product.

This is a good balm, which mattifies well. I wish, however, that the SPF was higher. Right now I put on an addition SPF since anything below 30 doesn’t protect you adequately. Despite this, it does feel good to have a specialist balm for my head.

I bought the balm as a gift for my husband before we went to the DR for a week. Last time we were there, his head got burned quickly. This trip – zero sun burn, zero peeling. Great product.

I have only used a few times because I just purchased the bald balm, but so far it works well. It moisturizes without being too greasy and the added SPF protection is perfect for going outside after a fresh shave.

I like the texture of this, it is more runny, then pasty. Pastiness is what concerns me with other facial products, I feel like I am literally painting on a defence against UV. The thins about lotions is that they combine with the skin, not cover it.

This of course means you must apply regularly, but I’m okay with this. I’m not here to cosplay as a soldier or test-match spectator. I don’t recall a fragrance to this, so if there is one, it is subtle and non-intrusive.

Aesop failed with their first facial SPF lotion that contained a lot of zinc and just felt heavy on the skin. Thankfully, they released this new lotion in North America which was first only available in Europe and Asia (they did make some ingredients changes though).

This SPF lotion is much better than its predecessor since it’s very lightweight on the skin. The smell is also amazing, if you’re into lavender. It’s not super greasy but does leave somewhat of a shiny layer on your skin; it is sunscreen after all.

I’m also not a huge fan of the pump bottle since those tent to always leave some product stuck at the bottom that you’ll basically never reach.

This is a fabulous facial moisturiser with sun protection, that is smooth and light on your skin. It doesn’t make you sweat and is perfect for busy women both indoors and outdoors. I would definitely rcommend this product having tried so many others.
