20 Best Moisturizer For Oily Skin In Pakistan (2023 Updated)

I’ve had acne to varying degrees of severity for maybe ten years and this is my go-to. The texture is light, almost gel-like, and very hydrating. The fact that it’s unscented is huge for my sensitive skin, and I love that it contains niacinamide, which has been essential in fading my (old) acne scars! I will say that I’ve gotten lazy and started using it morning AND night recently (the AM moisturizer has a weird crumbly texture and whitecast that makes me not super excited to use it), and I’ve been breaking out in big, painful, itchy, scarring clusters.

I’m taking a break from this moisturizer (as well as my paula’s choice salicylic acid cleanser) to let my skin heal, because I think using niacinamide twice a day might be contributing to my breakout.

TLDR; this is my holy grail moisturizer but beginning to use it twice a day is probably what’s giving me painful breakouts.

My skin is combination, sensitive, acne-prone skin. It gets dried out pretty easily by skin treatments but is also affected by heavy moisture. I had an eczema breakout that was all over my face and neck so I was using the Cerave moisturizing cream.

It definitely helped but once my skin started to normalize, it wasn’t clearing up and I figured it was too heavy at that point. I use the resurfacing retinol from Cerave along with a few other products first and this was recommended with it.

I was pretty skeptical because I figured it wouldn’t be enough for my skin, but I was wrong! It’s light and soaks in nicely but my skin is still soft when I wake up. For anyone that has acne-prone skin that is sensitive, you NEED to try this! If you’re still having issues, you might have skin barrier issues like I do.

These Cerave products I mentioned are definitely helping to get my skin back in shape!.

Short: sticky, makes me more oily, burns eyes, may give a break out. Combination skin, oily+normal. Not for me, not gonna buy again. I had a regular version, not a lightweight one. This lotion isn’t absorbing at all.

Skin remains sticky even after several hours. It gives glowing but my skin produces extra oil after applying, so I feel like I’m 15 y. o. with a super oily face. Stickiness everywhere, both on the neck and on the face.

My oily parts will go with more oil so I will be like a walking oily projector. This lotion burns my eyes, so, it can not be used on eyelids and above. It also gives me visible breakout, but on the oiliest part only – on my forehead.

In the photo, my face is 2. 5 hours after applying this lotion. Yes, I have partially oily skin, but not in THAT amount. I wanted to love this CeraVe PM product as I love their cleanser, but bruh.

I did not expect much! I was pleasantly surprised to see results after just 2 weeks. The texture is very nice and non greasy feeling. This really does attack multiple issues. In a couple of weeks- brightness, even tone, smaller pores, reduction in lines with an overall look of vibrancy.

Apply after moisturizer and enjoy. it contains salicylic acid which is great!!! This combats inflammation, unclogs pores and helps clear away dead skin. I saw someone say “I don’t want salicylic acid in my serum” it’s important to understand how important this ingredient is and that it is not just for acne solutions at all.

Salicylic comes from the white willow bark in nature but can now be made in the lab. Aspirin was originally from the white willow bark, therefore it’s a wonder ingredient less aggravating than other acids 4 face.

Think about it, aspirin is anti inflammatory and salicylic literally unglues gunk on the surface of skin and in the pores while calm redness. Anyway, this is packed with great ingredients and wears well under makeup.

My skin is finicky so I had to cut back to once per day application as it’s amazing ingredients caused a bit of irritation but it did clear up my skin and refine it. it Does add a touch of moisture too.

Impressed that it cleared my face lit it up. I cleanse, exfoliate with Tatcha enzyme rice and then their Essence, then Clinique moisture surge super concentrate gel, smart repair night moisturizer as needed and then the Smart Serum.

It’s one of the best out there that is a full on multiplayer for yor skin! Warning: resist over application. Less is more and a 1oz will last longer than a month especially if just using on face. Bottom line- it is packed with great stuff 4 skin.

🖤 @Clinique was my gateway brand into skincare, and overall it’s a great brand. It has some amazing products, but does get overlooked. It wasn’t until I started watching YouTube videos, that I found a whole world out there.

But, I still have quite a few Holy Grail products that I still rotate in my routine. ⭐️ The Clinique Custom Repair Serum has a very thick consistency, and could also be a moisturizer. I do notice my skin feels more hydrated, plump, and smooth.

I’ve struggled with acne my entire life. I’ve always avoided moisturizers for fear of breakouts. But now as I’m getting older, I realize I need a moisturizer because its dry and looking very dull. This is THE ONLY moisturizer THAT WORKS!!! And I’ve tried so many specials, expensive brands out there.

After about 6-months of consistent use I can say with confidence that this is far and away the best facial moisturizer I have ever used. I have tried many face moisturizers over the years and have always had trouble find one I like because I can be very prone to black heads and white heads in my t-zone.

This is the only moisturizer I have ever used where that is not something I ever have to worry about. It is also SO good at its job that I do not have to use it twice a day in the winter and can even skip days in the summer making this product also very economical! I have normal to oily skin and have been using this for years. At first I liked it so I decided to tolerate how it stings my eyes and tends to sit on my face. I just assumed I had to deal with it because it had good SPF, and it stings they eyes just like sunblock does.

But let me tell you, it’s really annoying when you have people asking if you’re crying at work and then you have to explain that it’s the moisturizer you use. Because any sane person would discontinue use, and here I am using it for like 10 years.

This is a great product IF you don’t slather it on. I use in the evenings. First, I remove my eye makeup with wet n wild under the sheets makeup wipes or coconut oil. Then, I remove my face makeup using the Avant Biphase Micellar Water.

I next cleanse with an acne wash with a 2. 5% concentration of hydrogen peroxide, and tone with a toner that I buy from a natural skincare company that’s composed of apple cider vinegar and herbs. I apply my retinol treatment and let that dry, waiting about 1 minute before moisturizing with the Boscia cactus Water moisturizer.

I then pat, not rub, this moisturizer into my skin. I pat it lightly onto all areas of my face and neck. less is more. You need to start with a pea sized amount and if you need more, add it. This gel moisturizer contains a LOT of really skin loving ingredients and it may be thick and can be tacky if it’s gooped onto your skin.

Using sparingly and pressing or patting into my skin, I find the slight sticky sensation it leaves behind disappates in less than a minute and find there to be no pilling or build up. You can also use a thicker layer as a sleeping mask.

I was nervous to try this after reading the reviews but I have to disagree with most of them! I layer this moisturizer over a gel-serum and use a sunscreen overtop, plus my makeup and I have zero issues with it pilling.

In fact, I really enjoy the tacky texture underneath makeup because it serves as a really good primer (think the Milk Makeup Hydro-Grip primer). I think you just have to make sure your other products are water based like this one is.

Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I think it could be a little more hydrating, but I run more dry-combo than oily-combo, so I think I’ll enjoy it more during the humid months.

I have combination oily skin, my Tzone would always get super oily. We’ve since moved to the south where the weather is even hotter and more humid. My face does not get oily when using this. When I put it on it does feel sticky for just a couple seconds until it dries, then my face feels so smooth, soft and plump, my makeup goes on really smooth over it.

This has been my go to moisturizer for a few years now (I have combo to oily skin) and I do credit it with balancing out my oily skin. However, recently I noticed some sun spots on my face and I know this product has citrus essential oils in it which can cause photosensitivity.

I did the research and it said online that citrus related essential oils only cause photosensitivity in certain amounts, so I reached out to Origins to ask if the concentration of citrus oils were high enough in the product to cause sun sensitivity, and all I got back was a vague response stating “you can be sure the GinZing oil Free Gel Moisturizer is expertly formulated to enhance your skin.

” This response essenitally disregarded my question completely. These citrus oils are proven to causes sun sensitivity. I understand they don’t want to give away trade secrets, but I didn’t ask for exact amounts and you can’t discredit the science that says these specific oils can in fact cause photosensitivity.

I was really disappointed with their lack of transparency. I’ve emailed them twice about this and both times I got super vague answers that did not respond to my question about the citrus oils and sun sensitivity.

A simple “no they’re not at a high enough level to cause this” or “yes they can. ” would have been much better than a vague non-response. And I do wear SPF daily. So for this reason my review is 3 stars instead of 5.

The customer deserves some transparency and at the very least a response that’s directly related to teh question asked.

I have dry skin, I am always looking for some good Moisturizer that hydrates my skin well. This is cream It’s so light on skin, absorbs quickly, leaves a fresh hydrated moisturized soft skin. Worked well under makeup and skin did not look oily or greasy for the whole day.

Overall, my skin is hydrated and I have a bit of natural glow when using this moisturizer. The ingredients such as caffeine and ginseng are an added bonus. Niacinamide was high in the ingredient list so there is a skin care aspect, but citrus oils were also high in the list.

I love how it brightens and wakes up my skin each morning. The scent is is nice it has a citrusy scent. If you do not like scents, then I do not recommend this. I think for very dry or fragrance sensitive skin, you should try a sample first to see if it works for you.

I personally found the scent a bit strong. Highly recommend this to anyone with dry skin or oily skin.

I received this product for free from Origins and Popsugar Dabble. It is true a little goes a long way. It’s soothing and moisturizes my skin. It’s lightweight after application. I love the citrusy scent of this.

This is my new go-to moisturizer! It’s made with clean ingredients, is lightweight, and feels great on my oily, sensitive skin. It’s not *as* mattifying as other mattifying moisturizers I’ve used, but it’s definitely not oily.

Other moisturizers either leave my skin feeling greasy, irritate my skin, or sting my eyes—not this one. The only thing I’d change is the packaging. The product comes out of a dispenser similar to sunblock and I often squeeze too much out at once.

Maybe just a learning curve as many of my face moisturizers are pumps. I assume this dispenser minimizes plastic since it’s so simple. Would love to see this in a glass bottle (even though I assume it would cost more).

Acure USED to be great a few years ago before they changed their packaging. I don’t know who runs their company but they have made the stupidest business decisions. I’ve used their products on and off for almost 10 years it seems.

Haven’t for a long time because of this one product: They change their packing way too much (current one is the ugliest in my opinion) AND their formulas. This moisturizer *WAS* THE HOLY GRAIL… it’s a shame to see a company who used to make incredible, high quality products go straight down the drain.

If they were smart they would listen to their customers, SO many reviews talk about the “old formula” and how great it was. Several have remarked about how the packaging is tacky- looks like a child’s toy from the 90s.

I’ll start by saying, I love Acure products and have used a number of them over the years. This was my regular day cream on and off for a decade. The last bottle lasted me well over a year because I wasn’t really following my usual skin routine (thanks corona!) but I just ordered a new tube.

Well, it’s totally different and it stinks! This used to have no scent other than its usual, clean ingredients. Now, it reeks of roses on my face. I read the ingredients and it now has Primrose and Rosehip oils.

As someone who is extremely sensitive to floral scents, I am devastated. Even if I could stand the smell, it would totally clash with any other product I might use. I did put it on anyway since my skin has been parched, and I found the formulation to be much less creamy than it used to be, but also mildly irritating.

And, almost two hours after applying it, my face still stinks and I’m developing a headache. I won’t be using this a second time. Now, excuse me, I’m off the go scrub my already clean face.

I haven’t reviewed anything on here yet, but this product really seems worth a review. I have an annoying combination skin that both gets dry/flaky AND oily/shiny. This moisturizers works like a charm, giving my skin hydration and controlling shine on my nose.

I have no idea how they formulate this product to achieve this monumental task, but they somehow managed to do it. I used to be able to only control the shine on my nose by putting on powder, but with this moisturizer, I don’t even need to put on any powder, and my nose still does not get excessively shiny.

I highly recommend this for anyone who is struggling with shiny skin due to oil. Also, I noticed that, in the winter, when the air is particularly dry, this moisturizer doesn’t give quite enough moisture, so now I complement it with the FAB Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration at night.

That gives my skin the extra moisture at night, and then I use this product in the morning. Together, they give my skin enough hydration in the winter while still controlling the shine. I know I sound like some sort of paid spokesperson, but this is just me being excited about a line of products that actually works for my skin.

I’m a licensed esthetician so I am very particular about my skin care!! This moisturizer is great in my opinion and is well suited for my very oily, acne prone skin. I can actually see a huge difference in the shine/oil production throughout the day! My skin feels and look less oily even when I get home at night.

I will say that you should use a hyaluronic serum with this to lock in more moisture. My only critique is that it’s not quite moisturizing enough. But again, that depends on your skin type and the season.

For the winter I will pair it with hyaluronic and using a generous amount helps too!! You can also use a thicker more hydrating moisturizer at night time if you need it and just use this in the AM. that’s what I’ve been doing and i love it.

In the summer time I’m sure it will be perfect for when my skin is even MORE sweaty and shiny. Overall great product. I even bought one for my dad for christmas because he has oily skin like mine.

My skin is extremely oily. Not just a bit shiny or oily by the end of the day, but all-over greasy all day long. After cleansing it only takes about an hour for the oil to start seeping out again. I have tried endless different types of creams, serums, masks, acids, toners and cleansers to combat the oil, and absolutely nothing has ever worked.

they seem to work for an hour, and then the oil comes back. I tried the coconut water cream from this brand in the summer and although it smelt and felt lovely, it did absolutely nothing for the oil.

I bought this one on a bit of a whim just to see how I got on. it feels delightful – lightweight, smooth, not sticky or greasy. no smell. glides over my skin and sinks in straight away. I was shocked when I dabbed my finger to my face throughout the first day of using it to find that the clean, powdery soft feeling remained for hours and hours and hours, unlike anything else I have ever used.

no shiny grease on my finger. it’s so bad I usually have to wash my hands after touching my face even a tiny bit, so I really was surprised to not have a constantly greasy face for once in my entire life.

after a few days of using this cream I can confidently say that on average it controls my oil for around 8-10 hours. it only starts to seep through quite late into the day, and that, for me, is amazing.

I hate spending a lot on cosmetics as they’re not my thing, and I’ve been trapped before by expensive products with overly-ambitious claims. This doesn’t claim to be a miracle cream but for me I believe this is probably as good as it’s going to get.

The coconut water cream didn’t feel that moisturising, but this one does. I seriously love it, and I will continue to buy it. I’m hoping this cream has put an end to the many years of searching for something that will help me out and do what I want and need it to do.

obviously everyone’s skin is different and will react uniquely but I do recommend this if your oil makes you miserable and you haven’t found anything else that works. truly wonderful, and feels like a treat to use.

Almost the perfect product! The texture is unusual and unique, it feels just like a regular cream but then transforms into a watery gel as you apply it. very clever I admit! And no tackiness or sticky after-feel either, it sinks in almost immediately and feels mega hydrating as though your skins’ thirst is being quenched (I felt the same thing with Clinique’s DDMG).

The hydrating effect lasts too and was just right for my skin, not too light and not too heavy, a very rare thing for me to come across! Totally adore the jar and gold spatula, ingredients are great too.

Although pricy, when I received the packaging and letters, I was in awe with how Tatcha is supporting the futures of young girls/women with purchases. For someone who thinks about the world and the impact of everything, who can’t complain about that? So I know you can’t make pores disappear, I will say that using these products for a minute now made my pores appear a lot smaller and unclogged?.

I’ve been using the Water Cream for years. I loved the lightweight formula. I applied it twice daily after washing my face. It easily glided onto my skin when I applied it and absorbed into my quickly making it a mess free application.

My face felt hydrated and smooth afterwards without feeling weighed down with product. However, when I most recently re-purchased the Water Cream I immediately noticed that the consistently was different.

The cream was no longer lightweight. It felt heavier and almost had a whipped texture to it. I really had to rub the product to work it into my skin, but eventually it felt like the smooth product so was used to so I chalked it up to me overthinking it.

However, within a few hours my face felt itchy and when I was able to look in a mirror I saw tiny bumps all over my face. I immediately washed my face off and used a different moisturizer to try to soothe my face.

I’m aware that people’s skin changes over time and need to adjust their skincare regimen over time. But because the cream felt so drastically different I looked into it and Tatcha has confirmed that they “had some very minor ingredient changes to the ingredient list to make it comply with international regulations.

” I am so disappointed that they changed the formula without putting anything in their product description or on their packaging in a way that i found noticeable. I won’t be using this product again.

I really really like this facial cream! I honestly thought it wasn’t gonna be worth much mainly because my spoiled self looks at packaging before I buy or get a product and this was pretty plain. I know better then to judge a book by it’s cover but still I look for fun packaging and pretty stuff! This product may have been plain on the outside or not my typical facial cream packaging but not does it work and make your face feel amazing! I opened it and the container reminded me almost of a chest rub I’ve used for years when sick.

Once I got that out of my head I realized this stuff is it’s own little gem. I really love the feel and how it doesn’t leave my face feeling icky or sticky. With this humid heat in MO I am picky picky about what I apply before going outside since I don’t want it too feel heavy or when I’m working outside and sweat it runs into my eyes.

Not a problem for me here. If this makes sense it give a moisturizer feeling yet drys quickly not leaving a product residue. I strongly suggest this product it’s definitely a great find. Doesn’t have a strong scent and layers good under my make up.

As someone with extremely oily skin, I always have to debate about whether or not to moisturize. I know the importance of moisturizing but it’s so frustrating applying moisturizer and looking greasy within 30 minutes.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream honestly surprised me because it works very well with my skin. The consistency is very smooth and lightweight. After I applied it to my skin, it dried down to a matte finish which I LOVE.

This is the only moisturizer that actually held up throughout the day, I was noticeably less oily than I normally am. The product came at a great time because my skin had some dry patches from a new face wash and this definitely revived my skin.

While I could rave about this even longer, I do want to note a flaw. As someone else has mentioned, the 1. 7oz size is SMALL. For $32, you’re definitely going to through this quick. I love the formula but I don’t know if I’d want to go and have to repurchase it multiple times.

With that said, a little goes a long way so I’m hoping to get as much use out of it as I can. Overall, I really enjoy this moisturizer and if you’re someone who has been looking for something that won’t make you greasy, I recommend trying this out!.

I have been using the DHC deep oil cleanser for a while but have been looking for a cruelty free alternative. This wasn’t it for me. I was really hoping to like this because I love the Super Bloom Vit C brightening Serum.

Overview: The product is too viscous and doesn’t pull from or cleanse the skin of impurities or makeup that may have a waxier deposit like eyebrow pencil. I ended up with so many little blackheads and tiny whiteheads.

After rinsing the feeling of the product left behind is thick and not the lightweight dewy I was expecting or am used to. It was sticky. I’ve used it sink side and in the shower to try to give it its best opportunity to melt away.

It’s not drying but I feel like I’d get the same results dunking my face in oil and blotting it away. The star is deserved solely because the glass packaging and pump are sturdy and well made. I did take the travel size Kari Gran cleansing oil on a short trip we took and I enjoyed it though the price feels a little steep for my budget.

Overall the Roven Super Bloom Daily Dew Cleansing Oil is not the replacement to DHC for me.

I’m in love with the entire Roven Super Bloom line of skin care products, however the Illuminating Gel Moisturizer might be the one exception. I have rosacea and super dry skin and unfortunately the Illuminating Gel Moisturizer just wasn’t enough for me.

I found myself needing additional moisturizing products through the day. This product was provided to me to test and review, and is specifically designed for people with oily to combination skin. My experience with this product is probably as expected, and not a reflection on the product, but just a result of poorly matched skin care needs.

I will say that the moisturizer is very thin and light weight. The gel goes on super smooth and absorbs instantly and wears very well under makeup. I would also note that my skin is sensitive, and this did not bother me at all.

Its virtually scentless, and didn’t cause my rosacea to flare. While this moisturizer isn’t going to work for me for those that have normal to oily skin, I’m betting this is a home run. (Customer received this complimentary product in exchange for their unbiased opinion.

I was fed up, having tried many products for my acne over the years, while it just got steadily worse. About two months ago I started using The Ordinary’s niacinamide and zinc serum, which helped calm and heal my acne, but wasn’t helping prevent breakouts really.

I knew I needed to add a cleanser, but I wanted something natural and gentle, especially since the air is very dry where I live. I got this cleanser about 3 weeks ago, and the difference is amazing!! My skin is so much clearer and improves every day.

I feel confident! It’s possible this could change over time, if so I’ll update my review, but when this bottle runs out I’m definitely getting another!!.

I bought this as part of a skincare routine overall as my mid-30s skin was showing every issue in the book – redness, adult acne, fine lines, dryness one day, oily the next day, etc. The Northeast winter climate didn’t help either! I wanted a simple and nourishing moisturizer to use as a night cream because I HATE a thick and fragrant night cream.

After 10 nights of my new routine (gentle cleanser to remove makeup, MB rose water/witch hazel toner, Kera moisturizer), I am blown away by my new skin! I wake up with moisturized (but not greasy) baby soft skin.

For anyone else in their 30s struggling to find the best products – my advice is to keep it simple. There are SO many products out there but honestly I think the best thing to do is to stick to a consistent and simple routine and then wear SPF during the day.

Also want to note how much I love the MB packaging and squeeze bottle. Nothing is worse than an overpriced cream that you have to dip your fingers in each night.

I had this product in my favorites to try based on the description and the mixed reviews. I’m from Florida, but while in Ohio, ran out of another moisturizer I use that Ulta was out of in stores and online.

I decided I’ll give this a try. I want to believe maybe the cooler weather in Ohio but it would leave a white film that I had to keep trying to rub in as I’m brown skinned and then once out my face seemed tight dry.

It did keep my oily shine at bay but I wonder at what cost to drain my skin of some moisture. I returned it once I got back home. This is the second Mario Badescu product to not work so possibly just not for me.

Such a fresh moisturiser leaves my skin super soft. I suffer with acne have for years and struggled to find a good product that would help sooth my face and get rid of the blemishes. I actually got this part of a set along with the facial cleanser, cucumber lotion, face acne clay and cream I have also purchased the rose hip spray and mask and I have to say I love it.

My only negative is I would say the drying acne mask. The smell is pure sulphur I had to wash it off because it was making me feel sick. But no matter how hard you try the smell just won’t wash away.
