20 Best Low Fodmap Protein Powder (2023 Updated)

I have been taking your vanilla and chocolate powder protein for couple of years now. I do enjoy them as part of my breakfast, I’m hot days I use ice and in cold days I use hot water to make a delicious thick drink.

I like to combine a scoop of each flavor, I feel that for me the chocolate alone is too strong. I gave my mother who is 88 years old, the vanilla protein to supplement her protein intake and she has been loving it for over two years now.

I am saddened that I have not received my vanilla cans in the last two months. Is there a production problem? I do however go the supermarket in town and pick it there. I would rather to receive it at home though.

I am so happy the chocolate protein powder came back in stock!! Today I ordered two cans for me and my husband. During the work week/weekends we blend up fresh smoothies w/ this added along w/ almond/coconut milk.

It has such a velvety texture and enjoy the chocolate taste. I have to say I really am pleased with the taste and the ingredients. My husband and I have a vegetarian diet (we still consume eggs; no meat/no dairy/no seafood) + eat/cook lots of vegan dishes also.

I am happy this is also gluten free and not full of fake/artificial flavors/fake sugar. My husband has IBS so we eat as clean as possible. This is my favorite powder powder I’ve ever had. Will continue to buy directly from your website.

Since starting breastfeeding, I’ve decreased the amount of dairy in my diet to help with my baby’s reflux. It’s so hard enough to find a vegan protein powder that doesn’t have a chalky consistency, and even harder to find one without any stevia (which I don’t like the taste of).

This protein powder is delicious, smooth, and sweet without being overwhelming. Before my morning walk, I will do either the powder and oatmilk in a shaker bottle or throw it in a blender with banana and nut butter.

So delicious! Aloha definitely found a customer for life. I’ve also tried their bars which are to die for! I especially love chocolate chip cookie dough and caramel sea salt.

I first started having Orgain shakes with Grass Fed Whey Protein Powder a few years ago. They were so delicious. Then the packaging changed and unfortunately the product changed too. I wrote many letters only to be told that the product was the same.

I sometimes forget to comb over labels, still thinking I can trust “good” companies and the front of their package. Clean Whey may have grass fed whey but it puts it in a “creamer base” that is a lot of stuff I dont want, like sunflower oil and two kinds of manufactured “natural” sweeteners, dextrin, erythritol plus stevia and monk fruit which makes the mix very sweet.

I like to sweeten my smoothies with bananas to make them creamy and this mix becomes way too cloying when i do. It is even too sweet alone from me. They also use gums and bran for thickeners, which is ok for those who dont want to do any work but mix this with milk, but am disappointed.

It should have been labeled as whey smoothie mix, instant breakfast or something else. I just dont see this clean.

I developed mild gastroparesis back in May and was seriously struggling to even get 400 calories a day. Started losing weight and feeling completely weak from a lack of being able to eat. My husband went to Whole Foods to find me a meal replacement powder that I could add to smoothies to try to get my calories and nutrition up.

Started making 600-700 calorie smoothies every morning using this protein powder and other high-calorie ingredients such as almond butter, hemp seeds, oat milk, etc. Every time I would have this protein powder in a smoothie, I would experience several hours of consistent steady energy.

It helped me to feel a lot better during the day even though I was still not able to eat much at all. A few months later and my symptoms are much improved (so grateful!). Even though i am doing better, I still make a high-calorie smoothie every morning using this protein powder because i feel that it gives me a great nutritional foundation for the day.

When I skip my smoothie and have something else I can feel the difference in my energy levels. Even though im doing better, im hooked on this product because it makes me feel satiated and like i have stable energy for several hours.

It also tastes AMAZING and has never upset my stomach (unlike other powders i have tried!) I highly, HIGHLY recommend this product!.

I LOVE this protein powder and have been using it for a little over a year now. It’s great, works well for me, and is a great price. What I don’t love is their new packaging, it’s messy and I end up wasting product.

The bag doesn’t stand up too well on its own because it’s wide and tall but pretty narrow from the side. It’s also way too tall for my pantry shelves so I have to leave it out on my counter which bothers me.

Also, it’s impossible to not get powder on your hands when scooping down towards the bottom since it is so narrow, then I almost always end up getting some of the powder spilling outside of the bag as I take my two scoops.

I’ve been on my current bag for 2 weeks and there is already powder in the seal so it doesn’t seal completely. All around I’m unsure if I’ll continue ordering this after a year of being a customer because the packaging is just not working for me – I miss the old tubs and wish for sustainability there was a way to go back to them with some sort of recycling/return system for them instead of this new bag!.

IšverstiShow in original languageOf the plant-based protein powders out there, Owyn’s Chocolate is one of the better ones I’ve tasted. It’s definitely not as chalky and vegetal tasting as Vega. I wouldn’t say I love it, but it’s not egregious and it gets the job done.

I discovered Owyn about a year ago after randomly purchasing their Cold Brew Coffee flavored pre-made protein shake from Target. I was blown away by the flavor, and I immediately went to Owyn’s website to purchase the corresponding powder.

I was disappointed to learn that there are only three flavors of powder offered — Chocolate, Cookies and Creamless, and Vanilla. So I purchased Chocolate. Since then, I have been coming back to Owyn for protein powder, and I’ve tried all three flavors, but Chocolate — while not amazing — is by far the better of the three powder offerings.

I expected Cookies and Creamless to be much better than it was, and Vanilla smells much better than it tastes. It’s not terrible, but it’s just very bland. So I keep coming back to their Chocolate flavor, not because I love it, but because it’s better than the other brands of plant-based protein I’ve tried, and I’m really not interested in wasting upwards of $35 per tub on potentially awful tasting alternatives.

I just don’t understand why they can’t or don’t offer their other shake flavors as powders, because the Cold Brew Coffee flavor is really *very* good. I don’t use whey protein anymore because it wrecks my stomach, but the Cold Brew Coffee flavor is on par with some of the best tasting whey proteins out there — like Optimum Nutrition (ON).

So their powders are a total letdown in comparison. In summary, it’s fine, it delivers the protein supplementation I’m looking for, and it tastes better than some others like Vega. But please, Owyn, work on your powders to try to capture what’s so great about your pre-made shakes.

I blend this combination together in a blender and so have an ersatz shake to drink with a salad or a small sandwich. Three stars because of this worry: The only thing that bothers me is seeing little clear pieces of.

something. littering the protein powder. I can’t figure out what it is and I’m worried it’s plastic. If it IS plastic, then OWYN Must halt their mixing space and find out HOW that plastic has made it into the protein powder.

IšverstiShow in original languageI love what is inside this protein powder, and I especially love that it is dairy-free and plant-based. It is my daily breakfast and I feel great. I am putting on muscle in my workouts, and I feel more alert than ever during long work days.

My digestive system is much happier too. I don’t think I’ve ever had enough protein in my diet, and I feel amazing now that I do. I also love that it has amino acids and some carbs. All that nutrition instantly wakes me up in the morning.

But I do not like the flavor ( I ordered vanilla), and the powder tends not to dissolve. I want to give this product 5 stars, but I can’t. It loses a star because the flavor is much too sweet, and the powder clumps and/or doesn’t combine.

No matter how much liquid I add, hot or cold; or how much I shake my blender bottle. there’s always a big chunk of balled up protein powder at the bottom of my drink. But I’ll put up with these negatives, because this product is dairy-free and vegan, most cost effective and highest quality that I’ve found.

Will continue to purchase. This time I think I’ll try the chocolate to see if I like the flavor more.

I decided that I wanted some protein powder and came across Orgain. It instantly piqued my interest since it wasn’t too expensive, and I’ve never tried a plant-based protein powder before. Some reviewers noted that they didn’t have a scoop included and that their container was only about 1/2 filled.

I bought the Vanilla Bean flavor. Fortunately, mine came with a scoop and was about 2/3 filled. However, I still expected something like this to be closer to full. I didn’t carefully read the mixing instructions that recommended water or almond milk.

I weighed out the recommended 46 g of powder and mixed it with 400 mL of 1% milk. The 400 mL is a little bit more than the recommended 12 oz, but I did this because my shaker bottle didn’t have a clear marking for 12 oz.

The flavor is fine. I read a few reviewers mentioning that it was too sweet for their liking, but I didn’t have any problems with the base flavor. However the texture is the main thing I didn’t like.

Even after some extended and vigorous shaking and verifying that all the powder had completely dissolved, it still had a little bit of an off-putting “muddy” texture. I had to take small and spaced out swigs to power through it.

Overall, it’s not that bad and can see myself getting this again. But I’ll probably try a different flavor and try mixing with almond milk per instructions to see if that makes any difference.

I am a vegan and purchase the Orgain chocolate product regularly. I was really excited to see a “hot chocolate“ product. The flavor is great, perfect for the Christmas season. It’s got the protein I want.

The problem is that it doesn’t work as hot cocoa. I noticed right away that the package gives no instructions for heating it. I contacted the company and they gave me directions, but at best this produces a warm drink.

Unfortunately, I concluded that if it’s heated the products thickens. Since I was really expecting a mix for HOT chocolate (as its title indicates) this was a real disappointment to me. On the other hand, I repeat that it’s a delicious cold drink.

I think they should take the word “hot“ out of their name for this product. I recommend this product only for those who do not care that it’s not really hot chocolate.

I loved the chocolate flavor! In other vegan protein powders I’ve tried, they can never get it right. It’s either too sweet like it’s artificial or bland. The chocolate profile wasn’t overly sweet at all, but enough to satisfy my tastebuds.

I find that it shakes and blends well but it tasted the best with “Oat Malk”. It gave it a creamy texture like chocolate milk. DELICIOUS. I’m definitely going to repurchase another one right now, not only because how content I am with the flavor but it was SOO EASY on my stomach.

Especially coming from someone who is lactose intolerant and experiences bloating, it made both me and stomach happy 🙂 I haven’t experienced any issues with my digestion since I’ve consumed it which is awesome.

My boyfriend gave it a try too and he enjoyed it just as much! The best perk is the fact it has so many great essential nutrients our bodies need to sustain good health. I finally found a protein powder I can brag about in the best way.

What better way to enjoy truthworthy ingredients that does a fantastic job than this powder? I habitually use this protien powder which doesn’t have that protein-like taste that most powders do, which I would expext no less when using real food for ingredients.

I use the chocolate flavor and enjoy how it blends with my almond milk (that contains no oils). It’s not a 100% smooth, but it’s pretty close. It’s been so enjoyable and filling that I’ve replaced this with my breakfast each morning.

They don’t call it clean and lean for nothing. Hands down the best and cleanest ingredients I’ve ever found for all of my serious allergen dietary needs. a d I’ve looked hard people. Lol LOVE my Ora Organics.

My daughter introduced me to Ora and I’m so thankful that she did. She makes her health a top priority due to an immune issue. She deeply researched Ora and it’s ingredients. After trying different Ora products, she was beyond impressed and very satisfied with the Ora products.

Overhyped by social media, never to be fooled again. I should’ve done a bit more research before purchasing this protein. I was in the market for plant based protein powders, and as I was walking around a supplement store in Oceanside CA, I came across a familiar name that I’ve seen very often on Instagram.

I without hesitation picked up the protein powder, purchased it happy as hell and took it home only to realize I made a regretful decision. I decided to give it a shot this morning, after taking off the protection tape after removing the lid and realized that the smell wasn’t so appealing.

I thought “whatever”, threw in a scoop in a blender bottle and added water. The mix wasn’t a problem for me, but my first sip was the worst encounter with a protein powder. It was bitter, had no flavor reminiscent of vanilla, and all there was, was this “chai” element within the powder that lingered with this cardboard tasting “vanilla” tasting powder.

Absolutely the worst tasting protein powder I’ve ever purchased. I am sad, that I can no longer have that $46 that I spent on this, and used it to support a company that actually values their customers and supplies a good protein powder.

This protein shake is absolutely gross for how expensive it is. I think Blessed tries to give out all these freebies because they know this product isn’t good. Look no further than the Instagram thots that they hired to plug this product.

Katya had a baby several months ago and I’m not body-shaming her, but she’s been continually plugging this product. And it seems to not be good for her. She’s complained about being sick often, she’s not losing weight even though she continues to edit new photos and use really old ones.

This isn’t a miracle product and you can see that. Her friend Austin continually posts about these products to imply they help with his weight loss. Which is it? I think it’s funny that these “fitness” influencers use maternity as a tool for content while and think they will come out the other end as fit as they were before.

This powder is not Safe to drink at all. Please beware and Stay away! There is a warning on the label that says product can contain Lead. It sure does have Lead and lots of it and other unhealthy substances in it.

I bought the cinnamon churros and after I drank one cup of it, I was extremely dizzy and had to lay on my bed so I won’t collapse on the floor. They whole time I was in bed I though I would faint and was scared to get up.

I thought I will have to go to the ER, but was hoping the dizziness will go away if I just lay in bed and drink water to flush/ urinate the protein out of my system. I got very scared because it has intense dizziness and brain was feeling heavy like if I been drugged.

The taste was disgusting. Im a nurse and this was just scary experience. I’m healthy individual with no health problems usually buy proteins from GNC because it’s safe. I was dizzy For 48 hrs even after the 48 hrs I still didn’t feel good.

I’m 100% sure it was this protein because it was immediately after I drink this. I threw out the whole thing right away. And also threw out the Whey powder as I didn’t trust to keep drinking their products after this experience.

This is pure Garbage. Why are ya even selling this? This is very unsafe. Will report this further. Stay away there safer and better option out there. Will never buy protein powder from a brand I don’t know.

If you don’t like the taste of this and that’s why you leave a negative review – you’re missing the entire point of this product. HEALTH. Broccoli doesn’t taste great to me either, but it’s HEALTHY. For me personally, I take one scoop as a shot in room temperature water after shaking it up in an 8 ounce mason jar with a whisk ball inside of it and a leakproof cap.

This has been an affordable life saver for me most importantly on nights when I just don’t have time to eat and need to get to sleep asap. This has probably been what’s kept me in good health since I skip dinner a lot but still get tons of nutrients from this.

I like that it contains iron a lot. Most supplements leave iron out which in my case iron is extremely important. Taste isn’t even a thought for me. It’s about what’s in it and that it’s healthy and affordable.

If it’s chalky? Mix it better. It you don’t like the taste? Figure out a recipe that you like and stop complaining. If you’re on the fence about buying this? Do it if you are focused more on affordability and health rather than simply taste for a product that deserves proper recognition for how economical and filled with nutrients it is.

Also non-dairy, non-soy, plant based, climate pledge friendly – I haven’t found anything at this price point that comes close to this. I wrote such a long review because I have been using this for years and ordered it right now, went to the reviews, and some of them are just ignorantly sad.

In 2012, I suffered a near-fatal accident breaking 44 bones in total, including a shattered pelvis and broken neck at the c5/c6 level, both of those injuries required fixations. I also suffered a significant brain injury that left me in a coma for 14 days, be it an induced one due to my brain swelling.

I struggled with recovery for a long time after, mainly due to being looked after by other people, mainly family whose idea of a healthy dinner was processed foods, takeaways, and a Sunday roast to cap the week off.

Eventually, I forced myself to go back home to the mountains and try and regain that ‘Me’ I had lost and was trying so hard to get back in touch with. Pre accident I was a professional climber, and a super keen surfer, travelling extensively chasing waves.

My journey has been a complex one to regain most of the function I had before being hit by a 4×4 while asleep and parked in a layby in my camper, I was hit at 90mph which sent my camper with me asleep in the back 90ft up the road and somewhere along the way I was ejected out onto the main road only to be struck by an oncoming minibus.

I am happy to say now that function is back but only with the support of solid nutrition, and nutrition that is easy on your digestive system. By far the biggest beneficial nutritional discovery on my journey and a Must for recovery and maintenance alike.

I think this tastes great. I mix with cold Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, and enjoy it very much. I mix in a smoothie container by shaking with one of those smoothie spring things. If I had any criticisms it would be that they should up the Magnesium content since that helps curb low blood sugar hunger cravings.

And up the dietary fiber content a bit. It’s the only place I think Kechava has you beat. Kechava might have more vitamins and minerals per serving, but then look at the serving sizes! Kechava uses 2 scoops/60g for a serving size while GoL uses 1 scoop/34.

5g. Kechava ADDS 5g sugars per serving. GoL has ZERO added and a negligible amount naturally occurring. Kechava has 24g of Carbohydrates. Not bad, but GoL is much more Diabetic friendly with 12g, HALF the amount.

I also think GoL has Kechava beat hands down with the probiotics and enzymes ingredients. Anyhow, this product is a little high-priced but you get a lot for the money packed into every scoop. Hope this helps you.

Just compare ingredients and nutrients and you’ll see.

TL;DR: If you already know you like the taste of pea protein, then this is great. The problem is that I apparently don’t (and I adore peas and am not a picky eater. ) I’d only tried a couple other brands before this with pea protein and hoped this would be different.

It’s not. Btw, I bought the sampler. I tried every one. They taste terrible to me. And it’s not because of the non-sugar natural sweetener (I use those all the time and love them). I think that, for many of us, pea protein just tastes like pure chalk.

The only reason I’m giving 2 instead of 1 stars is because it’s not AS overly sweet as others I’ve tried with pea protein (eg, Garden of Life, grrrr). I really wanted to support a healthier alternative to whey, but I just can’t handle the taste of this.

Package does not close after opening. That’s minor. I got chocolate peanut butter but the only place peanut butter is found is on the label. It’s very thick so I mixed it with 1 scoop to 2 cups unsweetened almond milk and it tastes like chocolate milk.

It is very filling and makes for a good lunch w 21 grams protein, 4 grams fat and 150 calories plus 70 calories and 2 grams of fat for almond milk. It can be mixed with water, they say but I haven’t tried that.

All together not bad for a lunch or dinner alternative.

My goal was to find a very clean and transparent protein powder with the simplest and minimal ingredients. Truvani’s Chocolate Protein Powder was where I found my only goal. The ingredients are masked by another name, they aren’t huge words that I cannot pronounce, and the very minimal list of ingredients is EXACTLY what I wanted.

If you care about your body and what you’re putting into it, then this is the product for you. If you want tons of fillers, an ingredients list of 30 items, fake sugar, “natural flavors” that are so natural they won’t even list what they are but hide hide behind the label.

Then this is not the protein powder you want. Clean ingredients list aside, let’s talk about taste, texture, and fullness. Taste is so clean. It doesn’t have the artificial flavor taste or boast no sugars, it’s the quality of the sugar they use.

PERFECT balance, not too sweet and not too bland. I blend it with almond milk in a shaker bottle and I have never had an issue with it being clumpy or not blending well. The chocolate is just the right amount to give my chocolate cravings exactly what they want.

There are even times where I want chocolate and instead of hitting the candy, I pour a shake. I have used many products. I have read many labels. I as close as they come to growing my own ingredients and making my own products JUST so I know what’s in it, what’s in it is clean, what’s in it isn’t laced with pesticides and other harmful chemicals, JUST so I can take care of my body.

Truvani has allowed me not to have to do this. Price is higher than most, but quality comes at a cost. Cheaper gets cheaper ingredients. Cheaper ingredients hurts your body and then you end up spending the money on medication, later, when you could’ve just eating right from the start.

I had developed a major allergy or intolerance to whey supplements so I had to switch to plant-based proteins, and this was the one that was recommended. It’s got a solid BCAA profile which was my main concern in switching over.

At 21g of protein per scoop, it’s a little lower than what I consider ideal, but I’ll just add in some extra food and no harm done. Taste: 7/10 – This could’ve been much worse. You definitely taste the vanilla bean but it’s not overpowering.

There’s a slight hint of cardboard too which I assume is the plant. Not Syntha-6 level good, but a lot more pleasant than I was expecting. They didn’t go out of their way worrying about the taste which ends up ruining a lot of products IMO.

Mixability: 4/10 – I wouldn’t recommend trying to use this in a shaker cup. I was left with a ton of white chunks floating at the top, even using 12 oz of water which is 2+ than directed. Had to run it through the blender, and even then there was a very chalky substance afterwards.

I’m being detailed for the sake of information, but it really isn’t thaaaat bad in the grand scheme. Definitely in the upper 50 percentile, and definitely bearable. All in all it’s a lot better than what my expectations were for a plant protein.

We’ll see what the results are like in a couple of weeks, but as far as the initial experience I’d say this is a good one.

I follow the primal diet (a raw paleo diet). I was lifting + cardio 5 days a week, but wasn’t getting the results I wanted with strength building and weight loss, in fact I was starting to feel pretty crappy.

I did a little research and realized the 100g of protein I was getting daily was probably not enough. I chose this product because I needed something raw and I absolutely hate Vega protein powder. I would have preferred a raw whey powder, but the RAWfusion is supposed to mimic the whey protein amino acid profile, so I decided to give it a try.

I mix my raw fusion with 120 ml of raw, full fat grass fed milk, and top up the glass with filtered water. It tastes totally awesome. It has a great satisfying starchy background flavor I assume is from the pea protein.

I took two scoops within the same couple hours the first night, and my mood and energy levels improved right away (although I supposed most other protein supplements would have had the same effect. )I have been keeping my protein intake consistently at 160g per day, by drinking three scoops of RAWfusion plus my usual raw beef, raw egg yolks, sashimi and raw nuts.

Keeping a steady supply has been an issue since it seems to take about two weeks for my local gym to get it after I order. One time when I was out, I tried the the “garden of life” raw protein powder.

Now this stuff is total crap. It has a sandy texture. I have to say that I do not understand the people reviewing this product and saying that it does not mix well, is gritty or has a bad aftertaste.

I find RAWfusion mixes better and tastes better than the average premium protein supplement. Also, I find the texture is not gritty at all, but silky. I also appreciate the thought that has gone into the formulation of this product.

It is made with SPROUTED rice, peas and artichoke, which means that it would have relatively low amounts of anti-nutrients. (I swear I can taste the anti-nutrients in crappy Vega Sport and hemp protein powders) Also it is fermented, which makes it easier to digest.

I can’t be sure, but I feel like I absorb the protein from this product extremely quickly.

I’m lactose intolerant so a non-whey protein is a must for me. Veggie protein powders are pretty nasty but this particular brand and flavor is the least nasty of all the ones I’ve tried. In fact, I actually semi look forward to drinking it.

It is gritty, though I don’t think that can be helped (all veggie proteins are gritty). Though I don’t get a grassy/dirt taste and there is relatively no bad aftertaste either. Number one deal-maker for me is that it isn’t overly sweet.

I HATE super sweet things and this is the perfect combo of nutty and semi sweet. I highly recommend this flavor and brand for those looking for a non-whey alternative. UPDATE 7/28/17 – I much prefer the vanilla flavor.

Its not gritty, its not overly sweet, and when I blend it with almond milk and a frozen banana, its delicious. Blending helps make any vegan protein smoother, so I usually make a smoothie with my RAW protein rather than just shake it up in a blender bottle.

I have to have a diet free of artificial sweeteners, so finding a protein powder that is free of them can prove to be difficult. Enter Isopure Unflavored Protein Powder – it is a lifesaver! First, as I do with all new supplements I mixed this with both cold and hot water to see if it was truly “unflavored” and to test how I would feel this product could best be utilized.

In cold water, it added the faintest taste of skim milk, in hot water I would compare it to tap water with a calcium feel. Both were great, had no off smell, and let me know that it would be wonderfully versatile.

Second, I tried this product mixed into hot soup, it did well on this test too and neither of the other two people in my house who tried it could even tell it had been added. Third, I tried it mixed into scrambled eggs – this was also a success and made the eggs feel richer in texture.

So far I have had great results adding it with instant coffee, ice, fiber, and cashew milk in the blender, it actually adds some of this missing creaminess that the cashew milk lacks. There is no problem adding this to hot teas, and the powder gives it the appearance of a splash of milk without altering the flavor.

This is great, mixed in with ice water. It still has the faint taste of skim milk, but that’s not a bad thing unless you don’t like milk. When consumed as a cold beverage with only water, I prefer to drink it out of solid colored glasses as the appearance of cloudy water is offputting.

Overall I would absolutely recommend this product and will purchase it again in the future.

Love that it’s zero carbs! I’m on Keto(Dirty Keto right now), and that’s definitely what made me choose this brand. Just add it to unsweetened vanilla almond milk or coconut milk, and you have a great tasting low carb protein drink.

I also suggest trying the cookies and cream, as that one is even better, I just add a little bit of peppermint extract and I have a delicious tasting shake. If you want an even better set up, freeze some almond milk in an ice tray and blend the frozen almond milk into the shake to have a frozen dessert.

Or if you are really adventurous frozen avocado can be substituted. But only if you like the idea of avocado ice cream. I wouldn’t recommend using just water to mix it into though, as that isn’t very good.

Also, remember that it’s Dirty Keto friendly, and not Clean keto friendly. I don’t think they could make a good tasting zero carb shake for Clean Keto though.

This mix is great! I used to use a cheaper one from a big box store but once I got more serious and dug into the nutrition I had to change quickly. This has plenty of protein and low cholesterol and carbs.

I make very basic shakes so taste is very important to me. This stuff tastes great! I use a nutribullet to blend no matter what so I’m not sure how it mixes by just shaking but it is a fine powder so I’m assuming it would shake great.

I use this to get extra protein each day, not as a meal replacement. It’s not super filling, which is good for me, but may not be for others. If you’re wanting to use it as a meal replacement then you will probably need to add plenty of stuff (spinach, fruit, pb, etc) to this to thicken it up.

I have been ordering this product for several years. I think last year the formulation changed. I liked that the Carbs were even lower, but im not sure I like the result. Taste is less sweet-which I like and unlike other protein replacement drinks, I dont have to mix it with fruit to mask a taste.

The worst part is the HORRIBLE GAS I get from this product and lasts all day long! Am I the only one this happens to???? I am guessing this has to do with the alcohol sugar that is used but its almost not worth taking this based on where I have to go that day.

The other downside is the weird consistency/foam that collects on the top after blending -which is not that big of a deal.

Using this as meal replacement. Add to a blender with soy or almond milk, greek yogurt, banana and fruit (have used blueberries, blackberries and strawberries). Add colostrum powder and cinnamon. Love the coconut chocolate flavor even with just adding soy or almond milk and a banana.

When it is hot outside, add ice to the blender. Have been using meal replacement shakes since the early 90’s. Think “#Slimfast”. This is really good by comparison. Have tried a few other protein mixes but this is our favorite.

When your company runs a special that makes this product less expensive than elsewhere, I buy it. I mix in a few other ingredients, but this is my breakfast every day. It is low carb, low sugar and tasty.

It keeps me going for hours. And – I can drink it and take my supplements at the same time instead of filling up with water. I’m 77 and going strong!.

2 scoops + 8oz milk = Desert. i usually can’t drink meal replacement shakes with milk, too thick. Backstory: I have tried pretty much every brand/flavor out there and I honestly have always fell back to the same Brand/flavor every time when it comes to meal replacement shakes.

I have never heard a bad word spoke of 1st Phorm, so decided to try the protein also. i have listened to Andy’s podcast longer than I knew he was the CEO of 1st Phorm which is crazy to me in the sense that he doesn’t talk his products up, they speak for themselves, as do the athletes.

I used to see the shirts in the gym and think “what an Advocare type triangle scheme that must be” because it IS a worldwide community of individuals in my experience at the local gyms. I personally live on a farm and have a gym at my house so driving an hour round trip to the nearest gym every day isn’t an option.

Never did I speak to these people, just saw a bunch of disciplined athletes that could come off a bit stuck up. I don’t think that was ever the case, its more like when you’re on a motorcycle and all of a sudden every dude on a bike is now your “friend” waving as you pass.

Anyone seeing a 1st Phorm or 75 HARD shirt on knows that the other person has most likely found the best supplements on the market right now. Their products sell themselves. I look forward to trying the other flavors which I am assuming are sold out for a reason!.

Pros – Texture – How it mixes – Smell – Taste – Taste – Taste Cons – It tastes too good and you want it in everything. – Includes food coloring. I’ll admit, I’m not a good protein shake drinker as a meal replacement.

When I don’t chew something, my stomach is gurgling. It doesn’t matter if it’s 100k grams of protein. However, when I add Level 1 Blueberry Protien to a small keto plain or vanilla yogurt, it’s a 100% game changer.

It absolutely fills me up and it tastes SO DAMN GOOD! It takes a bit to mix in when you don’t use any liquids, but it’s well worth it. Now I include it in baking too. Why not have blueberry pancakes or muffins with blueberry level 1 plus real blueberries? This allows the taste to be throughout the whole item instead of just where the blueberries are.

I’ve yet to try a recipe (or just finagling around) that didn’t taste good. Now I add PB2 with it, and it’s game over. It’s pure creamy deliciousness. ***Only reason for a 4, is that something has to beyond wow me or help solve something major for me to give it a 5.

I know it’s annoying, but I don’t believe in participation medals and I don’t believe in giving 5 stars for everything. It devalues how much each star is worth when I do that. ***.

I enjoyed the product from the first scoop. The texture of the powder is soft and fine, which in my opinion helps the product to mix well. I can mix it in a regular bottle, without the mixing ball. The product mixes well and has great flavor (vanilla ice cream is awesome).

Because I got a more neutral flavor, I enjoy adding this to my smoothies also. Great taste ✔️ Great consistency ✔️ Last but not least my sis Emily Laskinsssss was explaining to me how to use this product and she sold me on the reasoning for getting this product along with the Formula 1.

I personally like smoothies for breakfast and she recommended using Pure protein as a quick protein source (Formula-1 after workouts) and then a meal replacement like Level-1 in my smoothies for breakfast.

The product has directions for peak performance on the bottle. Only negative would be that it took me an extra 30 seconds to find the scoop when I opened it the first time. But I’m not lazy so it took me an extra 30 seconds to find it!! Just do yourself a favor and buy this product.

This is the first flavor of Quest powder I have tried, and the first protein powder I have loved. Many others get clumpy & chalky & are hard tim mix, not this. I bought this at another retailer and a lot of the reviews said it’s only good with (almond/oat/cashew/cow) milk- I disagree.

I mix this with water and usually add a scoop of instant espresso in for a protein iced coffee & it’s delicious- I do 2 scoops of this, 2-3 tablespoons of coffee, and 2 cups of water. That’s my breakfast most days, and holds me over for quite a while.

Even my non-dieting sibling said it was enjoyable. It’s a great help for my efforts to kick my starbucks habit! There are bits of cookie in this, just so you’re aware, which I could see being a turn off for a lot of people.

I don’t mind them, but could also do without that. I find it yummy enough that I look past the cookie chunks. Also, they never dissolve just so you know.

It’s pretty good for a low carb, low sugar protein shake. I’m prediabetic so I like to mix it with a bit of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and add more or less depending on how much protein I’m feeling.

You have to tinker with the ratio of powder to liquid if you want to maximize the flavor. This tastes like garbage if you use just a scoop in water. The artificial sweeteners are indiscernible which is great.

It has a slight protein taste but nothing overpowering. The cream flavor is definitely the star of the show, I can’t actually taste any “cookie” except for the literal chunks that are present in the powder.

I guess that’s what they mean by cookies and cream? Haha.

There are a lot of “pluses” with this protein powder. * Good quality ingredients * Low sugar and calories compared to the protein * Superior texture (in my opinion) for a milkshake consistency. I mix it with a small “bullet” sized blender with ice and water.

(Tip – I found that putting the ice in first, then powder, then water reduces the amount that doesn’t get blended) and it comes out with a milk shake consistency. Seems to blend more air in than other powders that I’ve used.

The only “negative” is that if you’re in a hurry it’s harder to drink quickly. I’d recommend it to anyone.

As vegan, is very difficult to reach all the grams of protein your body needs, specially when you are weight lifting. I used to be a very skinny girl but with high % of fat. Now, with this product, I switched my porcentages of fat/muscle.

I gained lean muscle and my % of fat got reduced. I personally love this product because it tastes great and is not extremely sweet, just enought sweet. It disolves very easy on water (altough I always take it with pea-protein milk) and the texture is delicious.

I always mix it with berries. What I like the most is that this product keeps me satisfied for about 4/6 hours, gives me energy and I can see and feel the improvement results. And not, you dont get fat consuming this product.

I bought this to replace the more expensive vegan post workout ‘shake’ I was using. I will say that I LOVED my previous drink, just wanted something a little less pricey and that I could buy that day.

So with that said, THIS drink is VERY comparable, works the same for my sore muscles as my other drink, if not better! Taste is pretty similar, this one is a little less yummy. Overall I am impressed with this product and will be buying again!.

I bought this product because Whey based proteins were making me nauseous. I found this protein to be grittier than my old Whey protein but I think that it’s mostly due to the fact that there is cinnamon in it.

It’s a little more expensive than I would like but the quality of protein is better I think. It definitely keeps me fuller longer then the Whey based protein I was drinking. Over all I like it and will continue to use it.

I have been using Organifi vegan protein for a couple years. I compared the ingredients between the two PlantFusion and Organifi and very similar. Plant Fusion was like 20+ dollars less per container.

And has an even bigger more economical choice. Plant Fusion mixes perfectly,Organifi clumps even with a fair amount of mixing. The first flavor I tried was Cookies and cream. Not an overwhelming sweetness.

Mild and pleasant was the taste. After just a couple days of using Plant Fusion my running I shaved two/three minutes off my miles! I since have ordered Velvet cake, chocolate and vanilla. The velvet cake has a mild pleasant taste.

I feel stronger and more energized. I will continue to use Plant Fusion!.

I have searched for a good vegan protein powder for awhile and I’m so happy I tried out Plant Fusion. I was getting discouraged by other vegan protein powders because they didn’t taste good and hurt my stomach.

I’m really impressed with this powder! I’ve been using it for about two weeks daily, and no stomach issues! I think the vanilla tastes yummy, although I’ve only done smoothies not just the powder plain with plant milk.

Overall all, love the taste, ingredients, and that they researched and found a way to have a good protein powder without stomach issues. Also, love that’s it’s gluten free!.

This is my favorite protein powder and i have tried several. It is very fine in texture and blends well with just water and some ice. I just shake it in a jar. No blender! If you left it sit in the fridge an hour or so it will thicken and look like the thick shakes you see in pictures.

I love the vanilla. I have tried red velvet, it tastes sweet like a cake batter but i don’t taste chocolate…. which is fine and I like it that way. Ill buy it again. I tried chocolate but it was not sweet enough to me.

But what i like the best is that they all tasted good with water and sitting in the fridge makes them thicker.

A friend gave me a sample of Isopure and it has 25 grams of protein per 8 ounce serving plus all of your vitamins and minerals,. I add low fat milk to mine and Chia seeds for extra fiber. I stir it really well with a knife there still may be a few little clumps, but no worries.

Put it in a shaker bottle shake it well. I always make mine the night before and by morning there are literally no clumps left. I love the extra vitamins and minerals that are added in because it alleviates a vitamin pill in the morning.

 I really didn’t feel Like I was getting enough protein in my diet so I’m so glad that I found a nutritional shake that actually taste amazing. They offer many flavors but I always end up with a Dutch chocolate.

I buy the 3 pound size.  I buy mine at GNC  online because they are always offering coupons- at least 20% off and free shipping. A great morning shake to start off my day! That actually does taste great!!.

Isopure Low Carb is for Weight-loss. I cannot stress this enough. Get a performa shaker. (Amazon) Use 6-8 Oz of ice cold water or ice cold Almond milk(35c/s) per 32g scoop. Replace 2 meals with these shakes.

I have had 7 flavors and the only one I didn’t like was banana. I’ve lost 172lbs by changing my diet and doing light to moderate weight training. if you’re struggling to lose weight, this is a go to.

Portion control obviously is a must as well as reducing carb/sugar intake. I would be remiss in my advice if I didn’t tell you bluntly. You must make the change yourself and stick to it. Don’t give up, it takes time to get use to new things.

I’ve tried so many shakes but this one just slaps different. You will feel full longer even if you didn’t consume solids. curbs snacking and helps keep muscle definition. Speak with a doctor if you are doing a liquid diet.

Don’t beat yourself up if you fall off the horse. get back on the next day and keep trying. YOU can do it! Toasted coconut goes well w chocolate. strawberry and cream tastes light and fruity. the espresso is great in the am.

I was hesitant. I read the reviews & was still hesitant. I went ahead and ordered a small bag. I got about halfway through that 1-Lb bag and ordered the tub. There’s no funky after taste, it shakes well & blends perfectly.

I add some peanut butter to change it up but the flavor is better than Isagenix (minus the carbs too!). Pleasantly surprised. My son loves the Tahitian Vanilla no prefer the chocolate!.

Love the powder, hate the scoop! The protein mix is delicious. I like that it is 30g protein per serving, which makes it really easy to hit my protein goals for the day even on a Veg diet. The flavor is great, and I like the addition of the tart cherry powder as a recovery aid.

The drawback is the huge scoop with its tiny handle. The serving size is 1 scoop, which I suppose is convenient rather than the variability introduced from other powders that are 2 scoops per serving, BUT.

The scoop is so big it is hard to get my hand in & out of the protein jar with a full scoop, and then it barely fits into the mouth of a standard size shaker. I usually like to tap the scoop on the wall of the shaker to dislodge the powder, but there’s hardly any room! And I always, always, ALWAYS spill some on the counter, because I just can’t be as neat as I’d like with the big scoop.

Please Vega, keep up the great plant based protein work. But consider resizing the scoop to make this product easier to use.

I’ve tried several brands of plant protein and this is definitely the best one. It not only blends really well (no chunks/clumping), but it also very rich in favor. It doesn’t have the chalky texture like other plant proteins do and tastes GREAT! Unfortunately for me, my stomach does not digest this well.

I struggle with whey protein and most protein powders. I’ve only found one brand that I can digest well but it does not come close whatsoever to how Vega tastes. I would recommend to others though who don’t typically struggle with digesting protein powders!!! It really is delicious and I’m just bummed that my stomach is so sensitive!.
