20 Best Loveseat For Small Spaces (2023 Updated)

Our company was in a hurry to replace some sofas that had been damaged, and supplies of affordable furniture that we liked were limited, and delivery was weeks out. After searching the internet, I came across Cymax.

I spoke with John, a friendly, helpful, and knowledgable salesman who assisted me in our couch quest. The sofas arrived in time and they’re just what we expected. Would totally buy from this place again.

Recently I bought an Rubin Sofa online and I am very much satisfied with the overall purchase. Delivery was quick and free. The furniture arrived in a well-packed box. It seems absolutely like it was shown in the picture.

It is beautiful, stylish and makes my house look complete.

I have basically a studio, with a king sized bed and little room for a living area. This little loveseat is perfect for my small space, is comfortable and has a wonderful color! The cushion has springs in it, and is comfortable but could use some wearing in.

I might evenutally replace it with a cut piece of memory foam. but for now this is great. Its definitely good for two people (I’m a single mom so its a great cuddle spot for my 4 year old and me!) This is not a lay down and stretch out couch; the back only comes mid shoulder blades and the wrapped arms are supportive and sturdy, but this will be my sit and read or knit couch for sure! oh yea, and it shipped and I received it in 2 days!.

Color and fabric as advertised, but the anchoring of the legs is very flimsy, especially in the back. That makes it shaky when one sits dow on it. This will likely break soon especially if a heavier set person sits on it.

I regret the purchase. Overpriced for sure.

The loveseat is the smallest I’ve ever seen. Depending on a person’s size only one person can sit on it comfortably. For two to sit on it both people must properly sit straight up. Wss very disappointed in the quality also, as it is cheaply made.

We returned it and yes that was a hassle as well. The loveseat is not worth the asking price. Will not recommend to a friend.

This loveseat in my bedroom is the perfect size and color to enliven and brighten up the space. The muted orange color is so pretty with enough red threads to almost be called coral. The cushion is sturdy and comfy.

I love the mid-century modern design!.

This serves the purpose it was purchased for (small sitting area in child’s room to read books, etc). Two normal sized adults and a toddler fit on it. Quality seems decent. It’s not a comfy lounging couch, more like short-term sitting.

But I knew that before buying it and am happy with the purchase.

The orange color is perfect and it is firm, which also works! The tall legs makes the height just right for standing up easily. My only issue is a double sword; I love how light it is, but it too easily pushes back.

I purchased this couch because it of the delivery time on it and it actually came 2 days sooner than the original delivery date! I knew I was buying a cheaper couch and it feels like a cheaper couch.

It’s a beautiful couch and our favorite part of it is the cup holders in the middle section so I don’t need a table in the middle of our living room. It is just very uncomfortable, it is hard and I have had horrible back pains since using it.

I am going to try and buy some big decorative pillows to use to see if that helps make it a little more comfortable. I ordered the beige and it looks grey to me.

Very cute love seat. Color is a nice steel gray and it was very easy to put together. It’s smaller than you’d think but has a deep seat which I wanted. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the fabric could be a little softer.

The back visions were wrinkled but I steamed them and they’re fine now. The material is a little coarse but for the price this is a nice love seat.

The couch is great, the color looks exactly as pictured. The storage ottoman isn’t as pictured though – the main draw was the storage ottoman, but it doesn’t lift up as pictured. You can lift the top off of it and there is a concealed zipper that you can store stuff in (the mini pillows came inside of it which was kind of confusing).

My only complaint is that I wished that the legs were a bit taller. All in all I’m satisfied with the purchase!.

I purchased this couch due to its size and color. Although it is a nice couch visually, it is not very comfortable. The cushions are slighter firmer than expected from previous reviews. Hopefully with time, the cushion will soften.

The side pillows included are slighter bigger than expected and do not look great. They also take away from space on the couch; I will probably replace with smaller pillows. The back cushions are removable which atleast make it easy to adjust your back preferences.

The couch itself is wonderful. Great fabric, comfortable, but not too plush. Came delivered with a hole ripped underneath, but thank goodness it didnt make it through to the cushion. Not going to fault castlery there.

The only negative is the legs are quite poorly designed. They hurt like crazy if you hit your foot on them. They are rock hard and have sharp-ish edges. They should user test some legs and jam their foot, I’m sure they can think of a better solution that keeps the aesthetic.

This shipped quickly and was in great shape when it arrived. I like the color and the design but it’s not very soft. I realize it serves a dual purpose of couch and bed but it is rather firm.

This is very easy to put together and very straightforward, my only criticism would be the firmness. It could be a bit softer, it would be infinitely more comfortable.

The fabric is nice and sturdy, the color just the same as the pictures. The only confusion I have is when I lift the arms all the way up, I dont know how to put them down.

Firstly the pricepoint is unbeatable. I looked at reviews of this sofa on several sites and settled on the gray. As this review is only about the sofa from DHP and not whatever company shipped it I’m not going to complain about and damages incurred during the shipping process (thankfully there were none) and will instead cover only the couch.

It is exactly what it should be- and more. Easy to assemble, true to the description, and the fabric is of a decent quality for the price. It was super easy to assemble and even has pads on the bottoms of the legs to facilitate moving it around your room(s).

The cushions are quite firm so this is not necessarily a lounging couch but then again what you do get are nicely squared arms, very simple legs, and a clean silhouette. It would do well for transitional and modern looks.

I may just have to pick up the loveseat in another color so it’s not matchy-matchy.

I’ve owned these sofas for almost 2 years now and I can for sure give an honest review: 1. The color is accurate to the picture you see online. 2. VERY easy to assemble. I don’t consider myself a handywoman at all, and I was able to put both sofas together within 2 hours or less.

3. They look great and super expensive. Considering that I paid less than $250 for each one, my friends were shocked to find out they were purchased from Walmart. The velvet fabric gives it such a luxurious look.

I have to give it to Walmart, they’ve come a long way from the selections they had in the 90s and 00s. 4. They’re sturdy. You can nap on them, jump on them, etc. They’re not coming apart. 5. So easy to clean! All you need is a damp cloth and almost any stain will come out with ease.

I don’t expect them to last forever, but I love them and I think you will too. You won’t regret your purchase.

I love the color of this green couch. It was easy to put together. From the looks of the box it came in I was concerned about it being big enough but it was just packed efficiently well. I’m 5’6 and can lay on the couch comfortably.

It’s not a deep couch so if you’re over 200 pounds it may be too narrow for your body. It feels sturdy and the fabric is soft. I really like that the cushions are attached and you don’t have to worry about them coming off.

It has firm seating so you do not sink in. Good for those that need firm cushioning when getting up or down. I don’t know how long it will last but for the cost I cannot complain.

Beautiful couch and sturdy build, but the cushions and comfort of the thing is not great. The cushions and back are super stiff and have to give to them. If I could have sat on this in a showroom somewhere, I wouldn’t have purchased it because it’s too uncomfortable.

But if you’re looking for a couch to fill a space and the couch won’t be used regularly, then this might fit your needs. Otherwise, I would make sure you can test to comfort of the couch before you purchase.

I love the look and size. This is the loveseat size, but it is actually longer than some regular sofas. Yes, the cushions are very hard. I used one to prop up the sofa while I installed a leg! It appears to be softening a bit already after 2 weeks, and a neighbor who bought the same sofa said theirs did soften out.

If the choice was soft and getting squishy over time, or firm and getting softer over time, then I’ll take the latter. The only thing to install was the legs, and there wasn’t a single blemish on it.

I bought this after months of not having a couch and was initially excited when it arrived and I put it together. It looks nice in my space, and that is really the only positive thing I can say about it.

The singular cushion is very hard and after using it for a year I can say that it hasn’t really gotten any more comfortable. The fabric is scratchy and the seams began splitting almost immediately. After 6 months, I had to cover the cushion with a blanket because you can now see the foam underneath the fraying is that bad.

It isn’t very deep either which I think makes it hard to relax on. The armrests are also a little low in my opinion. Especially at the current price point, I would look elsewhere for a sofa.

When we received this sofa we had troubles putting it together, the metal brackets just kept slipping out. We finally got them on but just a tip- you need to lift the base and slip it down onto the armrest, not slip the armrest down onto the base.

The customer service we received however, was excellent. Highly recommend Temple and Webster. They were concerned when we had issues assembling the furniture and stayed in contact with us to follow up.

We received the loveseat this week with a slice through the front of the arm. Then, we received half of our sofa only to realize there’s also a rip in the arm of the cushion on that as well. I was told I can have $50 taken off of the purchase price which is laughable considering the set was about 1800.

00 and there’s visible damage OR they can send me replacement pieces which I do not want as we have 3 children and I’m very much questioning the quality and durability of this material. $50 off for visible damage the day we received these is unacceptable.

It gets better though- UPS delivered the boxes and they have holes in them. the corners of the boxes are soggy and definitely exposed the couches inside. Finally, I get someone on the phone to help me resolve how to send these back and she informs me that if I can’t send them back in the boxes that likely caused the damage in the first place that I’ll have to pay a 20% of the purchase price fee.

“Tape them back together” Yes, because after receiving damaged products the fair thing to do is have the customer tape the soggy damaged box up and send it all back. Absolutely absurd. Also, if I can somehow tape together the boxes for them they’ll only charge me 10% of the purchase price to return DAMAGED products.

I highly recommend shopping elsewhere. Perhaps, Article furniture where they take pride in their workmanship & quality. The only reason these get 2 stars is they are pretty pieces but only buy them if you don’t plan on actually using them & cross your fingers they aren’t damaged.

We love our Vegan leather Albany sofa. We have 2 young children (3 & 7mo) with plans to have more and after seeing what our 3 year old did to our precious couch we knew we needed something that would stand up better to messy kids.

The vegan leather is soft and can easily be cleaned off due to food or drink spills. It is on the firm side but still very comfortable. You won’t sink into this couch at all, which is what I prefer to a soft cushion.

We have hopes to purchase the love seat in the future so to have a matching set. My only negative is that we’ve not even had this couch a year and we’re already seeing some discoloration (yellowing) at the front of the seat cushions.

It’s not too bad yet but I am curious to see how it holds up long term. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and feel that this was the best option for our family for the price and quality compared to other couches we looked at.

Also we moved a few months after purchasing and it was very convenient to be able to take this couch a part and save space in the moving truck.

This couch is cute and comfortable. but holy cow. Assembly was not as easy as the video makes it look. Getting the arms on was easy but getting the back on was SO hard. I tried to do it alone (I’m pretty competent and love putting furniture together usually) but gave up after an hour.

Tears were shed. I then had one friend help me – not much progress. Called another friend and we finally got it on. It was nearly impossible for us. We would get one side on then not be able to get the second side on.

We tried every method imaginable. In the end, we finally got all 4 brackets aligned when we pushed the armrests in with all our force. I wish the written instructions had been more detailed. The video was helpful but it would’ve been nice to have some troubleshooting tips.

Overall, the couch feels sturdy but the assembly was not worth it. I know this company has a partnership with Task Rabbit but it also markets these pieces as being super easy to assemble.

We are very happy with this purchase. The quality is very good considering the price. It’s comfortable and the fabric has a vintage character. We were looking for a loveseat to fit a small space, and the size is perfect for us.

It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. Note that it comes in a huge box and you may need someone to help you carry it upstairs if you live in a walkup. This is a great loveseat at this price point.

We have had this couch for two years, and the sofa has been reasonably comfortable, but it didn’t take long for it to start falling apart inside. Firstly, the sides are very hollow. If you pat your hand on the sides (under the armrest), there is nothing solid under the fabric.

There is just fabric there. With the sleeper mattress, a thick metal wire runs across the bottom of the sleeper and has slowly protruded further and further out. If the sleeper is out, we have to be careful not to run into that not to get cut or scratched.

When the sleeper is folded in, the same wire digs into the couch cushions, so we have holes in the cushions where cotton comes out. Lastly, the back of the sofa has two “support beams” that have dislodged and are poking the fabric from the inside.

Unfortunately, we trusted in the quality of Ashley, so we decided against the extended coverage. I wish I could get furniture in GA from the place I went to in California. I had my set for ten years, and it only needed cleanings.

Everything else stayed together STURDILY throughout the years.

I bought this in the gray. Took a while to get it, but it finally arrived yesterday, and I love it!! The gray has a bit of a blue tone to it, but it’s definitely more gray than blue. I live in a small apartment, and it fits perfectly.

I’m so happy to have a new sofa — the old one definitely had to go, and this is a wonderful replacement. The seats are firm, but I know they will soften up with use — I’ve experienced that before with new sofas.

Those who are complaining about it being uncomfortable are jumping to judgement. They need to relax and let the sofa break in for a while — it will become more comfortable the longer you have it. The throw pillows are also very nice, and an added bonus.

I’ll probably end up putting a slipcover over both the loveseat and the pillows to protect it from my cat and all the hair she sheds. I paid extra for delivery and assembly, so I know it was put together properly.

This is lengthy, stay with me! It started in January 2022. We decided to purchase new living room furniture. The last sofa we purchased was from Ashley Furniture and it served us well for years. We again started out search there.

As I was online looking at sofas on the Ashley’s website, a popup on my browser said, you could save $350. 00 on this sofa if you buy from this company. (Not American furniture warehouse). Well, I’m all for saving money! We went to Ashley and looked at the sofa and loved it.

We purchased it from a warehouse store in Mississippi because of the discount and that it was in stock, Ashley had a back order 2 months. Long story short, our furniture never came. Had to file a dispute with the credit card company and in April got our money back.

My son called me, and I told him about the nightmare trying to purchase furniture. He said, go to American Furniture Warehouse! I said, no!! Not another warehouse! He said, that’s where I got my furniture, it’s Ashley and you get it the same day.

We went, they had same sofa there, the same price as the shifty store in Mississippi and it was in our home in 2 hours. I will never purchase furniture from another store again. After the sofa and love seat I found a coffee table I liked.

It was not available at our local store but was at a store a few hours away. I purchased it and had it delivered. I have never met nicer delivery men in my life! Courteous, respectful and very careful.

I would recommend American Furniture Warehouse to anyone.

Buyer beware, leaving a less than satisfactory review will get you the standard response of “someone will be in touch”, when it’s highly likely that no one actually will be in touch, especially if you’ve had your sofa for more than a year.

Never heard from Article after my initial review. This sofa is one of two products I’ve purchased from Article over the last few years. I’ve had problems with both. And the usual response to an inquiry about the quality of an item is “that’s normal/expected”, “due to the nature of the fabric”, “use a chopstick to push loose pieces back in”, or “your product must be cared for in xyz way, and you must be doing the opposite.

” Wish I had a time machine. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’ve sat on this sofa for three years. I love the design, and it’s the perfect neutral gray; however, after daily use by two small people and an 8lb dog, it’s starting to show its true quality, or lack of.

As many people have mentioned, the cushions are constantly moving forward. They were so firm when the sofa was new, I had high hopes that they would eventually stop sliding, while also maintaining their shape, but I was wrong.

The middle cushion is especially bad… although it is sat in no more and no less than the others, it has managed to pancake and dent in a way that is almost comical, causing the fabric to look sad and wrinkly.

Speaking of the fabric—it has pilled terribly, especially between the cushions. I can’t imagine what it will look like in three more years. Bonus!! I’ve only recently realized that the front and back legs are stained two completely different colors! I’ll be sad to see this sofa go, but as soon as I find a replacement, it’s out of here.

I wish there were more honest long-term reviews of this sofa on here when we purchased ours. I absolutely love the look of it but the low quality is not what you would expect from article. My husband and I take care of our belongings, especially the ones that cost this much.

We use the sofa daily, mostly in the evenings to watch TV after dinner. Our dogs are not allowed on the furniture as well. Anyway, the fabric pilled extremely quickly which wasn’t a big deal at first.

I bought one of those fabric shavers and removed the pills three times so far and it is pilling again, but that’s sadly the least of our worries. The once firm and comfortable cushions barely have any life left in them after just a year and a half.

They are so saggy, flat, and slide when we sit. We fluff them daily so I’m not sure what else can be done. It’s a shame that there is only a year warranty on the sofa, but I guess that’s by design since a year is exactly how long it can be enjoyed.

Ordering site stated: Free Nationwide Delivery; Free in home setup. We got the free delivery—box placed in living room. I said I expected it to be set up and he replied: this is not a white glove delivery.

I asked him to call and get delivery instructions corrected. He called and reported it was not to be a white glove delivery. He looked at my 84. 5-year-old face and said: I’ll do it anyway. Unit looks great and appears the same as the photo on the web site.

It sits you high and easy for an elder to rise from.

This is a fantastic sofa at the discounted price point. It’s a beautiful style and colour to accent your home; the velvet material is so soft, the cushions are comfortable, and frame is sufficiently sturdy.

The cushions do tend to slide due to the material, so you’ll have to push in the cushions back in place quite frequently. The back cushions, and seat cushions are not attached, which allows for more flexible cleaning in between/under cushions etc; but the cushions do not have removable covers to throw in the wash.

I wish the center leg under the couch was a little more sturdy, and I would be careful to protect your floors from the legs. Otherwise, this is a beautiful, comfortable and functional couch, and I would highly recommend if you can get it on sale.

First let me acknowledge that my review isn’t for this color or upholstery but for the gray version that was sold last year however it is the same brand and design of sofa. I almost never write a review for something but I feel compelled to do so about this sofa because of how sorely disappointed I am.

This sofa was something that we saved up for and was our first big purchase as a married couple but, sadly, the level of wear it’s already showing makes me strongly regret this purchase. We picked up our sofa (and matching chair) less than a year ago.

On the day we set it up we discovered that one of the seams on the back of the sofa was already torn open and there isn’t enough fabric to sew it shut. Now what used to be about a one inch hole, is close to three.

We decided to let it go because we were so excited to finally have our furniture. Unfortunately we should have sent it back and bought something else entirely. The seams in the cushions are also already unraveling and I’m noticing on the tops of the cushions what appear to be score marks which will break open any day I’m sure and if they do, this couch will have to become dumpster furniture.

This wear isn’t because of heavy use either. We don’t have kids and only sit on the couch for an hour or so in the evening. This level of wear is simply unacceptable given the amount of time we’ve had it and the infrequency of use.

I wish I would have paid for the protection plan because now I feel like I’m stuck with an overpriced couch. It should also be mentioned that the attention to detail and craftsmanship is below satisfactory; the metal brads on the front of our sofa are terribly placed.

They are totally uneven. Please please please be cautious if you buy this sofa. Check it out thoroughly before moving it into your house (or even leaving the store with it). With this new darker upholstery the wear will be even more noticeable over time than it is on my lighter version.

A great price, a great piece of furniture that is beautiful, for such a small price. That’s one sale I’m glad I paid attention to. Everyone loves the sofa and even though it’s microfiber, they think it’s leather and it is beautiful 😊.

This sofa is very nice and looks great in our space. The sleeper is comfortable – made even more comfy with a mattress topper. The delivery people did a quick job of moving it in and setting it up. Only down side, they put a hole in the wall.

I haven’t heard anything yet from customer service.

it’s not brown, it is gray, the box said brown, and the advertised picture shows brown. I got a great deal on this during the Target deal days, so I’m keeping it. Other than the color issue, it’s sturdy, took two of us women about 30 minutes total from unboxing to put together.

It is comfortable. I replaced a Serra loveseat, and this is definitely way more sturdy and comfortable. For the price, definitely get this loveseat.

Love the look of this couch. It is pleasing in the color palate and looks great in my space. Putting it together was a bit challenging but mostly because 2 of the metal brackets were bent, upon arrival.

I had to bend the brackets back to connect the front board and the right side arm. Besides that, it seems to be holding up great in the week we have had it and used it.

The Bettie is a sweet throw back to mid-century furniture. It does remind me of a couch my mother had that had a plastic slip cover which was a must have in a family of seven. :). When you first sit on it, the cushion is very stiff and you realize quickly that your spine is properly alighted.

After a minute or so the Bob’s memory foam goes to work and the seating is quite comfy. It takes a while, like with any new couch, to find your Zone. If I had one minor change, I’d like the seat cushion to be a tad deeper.

I’m never a fan of most pillows that come with sofas, I prefer to buy them, if needed, separately. But the Bettie pillows are very nice and it works well in my space. My daughter is moving out of my home and she will be placing an order for the Orange Chofa set next month.

The installers built the sofa on site within 10 minutes and even arrived ahead of schedule. Overall, a very nice couch, traditionally well-made with removable cushions which is a real plus.

When we purchased the Chofa, we had to pay for the chofa kit in addition to the sofa cost. But when the product arrives, and the kit is simply added to the Sofa by pulling out a single seater. But we are now left with an extra sofa cushion which is of no use, and we paid for something that is not needed.

I went to the store to find out, if Bob’s can provide a base for the cushion, so it could be used as an ottoman, but Bob’s doesn’t provide anything like that. So either we should not be charged for the full prize of the sofa, while purchasing the Chof; or provide a base for the free lying cushion, so it could be used.

This is a bad design and an environmental waste if the product is not put to proper use.

I absolutely love my “Bettie “ sofa. I got the orange one that is more like a terra-cotta color. Goes beautifully in a neutral colored room giving it a soft pop of color. The cushions are nice and firm yet comfortable.

And they are flippable ! That is so important when you have animals that could cause a snag or stain. I also like the fact that the legs are a bit longer on it so that my small dogs can get under there and get their toy and I don’t have to continually get it out! The delivery drivers were wonderful and I am absolutely loving it! Thank you so much.

The sofa came in two shipments. Assembly is some of the easiest Ive seen. Everything is preassembled. The sofa sections simply lock together tightly into preinstalled fasteners and stands firm and strong on its body and legs.

The legs are wooden and fasten easily with one large bolt on a dowel pin guide. The cushions are well made and assembled. about medium firm but comfortable depending upon your weight. The fabric is bright and colorful in a durable fabric.

The seat is plenty wide and deep for comfortable sitting or kicking back. I added a couple matching throw pillows for comfort. All in all its a good buy for several type decors.

Great for small spaces! I live in a super tiny studio and was nervous about how this would fit but I still have enough room for a coffee table! I can lay on it quite comfortably with my legs propped up on one of the arms.

I’m 5’5, for reference. Assembly was fairly simple under an hour as well. Sturdy, reasonably comfortable, and the color is great! I can’t wait to buy more for throws and pillows for it.

Nice sofa for the price. The shipping was fast, Came as advertised, and was easy to assemble. The yellow color pops and looks great in my studio lounge area. I bought this sofa bed, NOT from comfy co, but from a local retailer. It’s a huge disappointment, not at all the blue color in the catalogue, and the fabric is totally different in appearance to photo.

All of this I could live with but the sofa is rock hard. if store would refund me I’d gladly send it back. Sadly not. I can sit on this for about 10 minutes and then both my back and butt ache. By far the most uncomfortable coach I’ve ever owned.

If i could score it as a zero I would.
