For those of you who do not know what after tan lotion and tan extender lotion is, this review is for you. You use this after tanning, after showering and before going to bed. That is to prolong the life of your tan.

This is not to use in the sun this is to use after. This is so you dont fade your color so fast. If you use it for those three times, youll notice that you save your color by 45%. Those are the times when you lose the most moisture is after tanning, showering and during sleep.

This is hands down the best bronzer ever! I’ve used the expensive stuff and the cheap stuff and I’ve been tanning since the invention of indoor tanning beds! (Yeah, I’m old) Millennium tans makes the best.

I legit cannot be without this. Ran out once, tried something else and just couldn’t do it! This. Is. Life. This. Is. Tanning!.

Everyone has their preference. To be perfectly honest, I love Bombshell. Used it for many years. I decided to try solid black because it’s more economical and it’s also 100 just like bombshell. However it doesn’t have that instantaneous tanning effect like I get from bombshell.

Within 15 minutes, my skin gets that hazelnut look that I love but also bombshell can be too strong too tingling and makes my stretch marks protrude for about 2 hours. solid black, gives me a tan but it takes an hour and gives me just a touch of sun look.

what i like about solid black, it’s comfortable to wear (no burning) and I can wear it among others without being embarrassed about the protruding marks. I’ll still buy solid black and take it traveling.

I could immediately tell a difference after the first use. And after just four uses I was a very nice dark tan. Awesome product! However you may want to wear a glove to put on, but definitely wash hands after application as it will turn your hands.

GREAT tanning lotion at a fraction of the cost. I got many nice comments on the smell of this lotion. It has a light sweet smell and doesn’t have that stinky tanning smell that some have. It also gives you a nice golden tan in a few applications.

It lasted about 3 months tanning 2 to 3 times a week. I would recommend buying this product.

I have used many bronzes without success, they either don’t work or leave you orange. I use with indoor tanning and it makes a good tan look fabulous. Enhances your color, especially overnight. You do have to wash your palms and fingernail area with soap to avoid discoloration.

You won’t be disappointed with this product and I think it smells good!.

This Australian Gold Rapid Tanning Intensifier Lotion is the best. Not only does it smells amazing (like summer), it works SO good. I have a nice deep tan going. I love that it’s a lotion, and not oil.

It really is my favorite, and I’ll probably never use anything else. Great value for your money. Just rub on your skin, and go in the sun. Easy to use. And I do love that it has Tea Tree Oil in it too!.

I love going tanning. In the rainy northwest were I live, we don’t get hardly enough sun. During the winter I offset my low vitamin D levels with some time in the tanning booth. As a WOC I love to deepen my skin tone and look evenly bronzed.

This lotion helps me stay ahead of my tanning goals without breaking the bank. The extremely reasonable price point of this lotion makes it very budget friendly. I purchase these and leave them in my car, on my deck in case of a sunny day, and in my beach bag during the summer.

They do not contain a bronzer or stain your fingers, but it helps my glow get deeper much faster than it can on its own.

It’s a product I’ve been using for some time now. I’d say it’s the best one I’ve found to get a quick tan, I apply the accelerator and then the sunscreen and I notice a lot of difference, between applying it and not.

The brown one is very nice, I’m fair-skinned and I’m always afraid of getting burned but combining this accelerator with the sunscreen, I feel that my skin instead of getting burned gets a tan. It has a very sweet and pleasant smell, not cloying.

It’s quite a spread. It leaves the skin very moisturized. It does not stain, is white fluid cream texture and is quickly absorbed, does not leave a greasy feeling. For me it is a summer must.

This is an accelerator with no additional bronzers. It’s good to speed up the tanning process in the tanning bed. Perfect for any beginner tanner. Smells sweet like candy or bubble gum maybe? I’ve been tanning for several months and personally go for darker bronzers but if you’re into accelerators than this one is nice I purchased a sample packet from the salon and this lotion is the very same.

Going to buy another bottle just to have in stock for when I run out of my current bottle. Smells great and isnt nasty like those bronzing lotions. Gives you your best REAL tan. I wish Id found this $100 ago super happy w my purchase!.

We tried a sample of this for tanning at our gym. Following our tanning session our skin was soft, smooth and non-greasy. Plus accelerating tanning. We are now enjoying results every time we tan.

This is really interesting stuff. Ultimately I like it, and it’s become my number one choice for tanning, but with a few caveats. First, the smell. I’m not one of the lucky few who enjoy it. It smells like soy sauce, straight up.

You get used to it, but it’s not pleasant. However, I don’t notice it once I’m done applying, so I assume it’s fading. Plus, the smell of the after-sun lotion is lovely, so that makes up for it. Second, the way it sinks in.

or rather, doesn’t. It really just sits on top of my skin, and often pills in places, even right after I’ve exfoliated. It takes a bit of work to spread evenly, and no mater how much you rub, it’s not gonna be absorbed.

This leads to number Three, it absolutely rubs off on whatever you come into contact with. The reason it works so well for me is that I very carefully ration my time laying out for a tan to 20 minutes max per side, and I’m able to do this in my back yard.

I don’t have to worry about it staining my favorite suit or towel, because I use stuff I don’t care about when I’m just working on my tan. (So far, it’s washed out very well though!) I’d never bring this browning lotion for a day at the beach, it would rub off on everything and somehow still manage to cling to the surface of my skin, making me a sand magnet.

Everyone would also wonder why I deliberately brought something that smells like it should go on sushi. Despite these drawbacks however, I do have a very fabulous tan. I have very fair skin, and the aforementioned self imposed time limit, so it took about a full week to settle in, but it sure does work.

I love the way my skin looks, and I’ve never burned when following my 20 min rule. My legs have always been the hardest part for me to tan, but I just keep looking at them now and admiring how tan and glowy they are.

So altho I don’t recommend this for a long day at the beach, if you want a good tan, I’d give this a try. Also, I purchased the after-sun lotion as well, and it is hands down the best I’ve used; not only does it smell wonderful without being too heavy, it’s the ONLY one I’ve found that actually leaves my skin feeling moisturized for longer than an hour.

Plus, a little really goes a very long way. Hope this helps someone!.

this is not the first time i’ve bought this stuff, just the first time i’ve ordered it from target. this is best used when you are ALREADY tan. i see a ton of comments saying it doesn’t work, but this is a TAN ENHANCER.

it says on the bottle that you can use this without sunscreen, but i wouldn’t recommend unless you already have a tan. if you want to use this when you’re not tan and aiming to tan for the first time, use with a low SPF (6, 7, 8, 15, 30) and you will get tan.

this stuff CAN and WILL stain your clothes? however, it washes out easily. dress accordingly if you don’t want brown stains on your bikinis/towels. smells like cocoa beans with a hint of chocolate. it’s a good smell, not at all overbearing.

a bit greasy and takes a little to completely dry down, but that’s fine with me.

I have quite a bit of experience with tanning lotions. This lotion has a pleasant scent -similar to orange creme. It has a nice consistency. My skin feels softer two hours after applying it. There is not a self tanner in it so there is no transfer of color to clothes.

The tan enhancement quality is great. I definately see that I get more color each visit. Well worth the money!.

I didnt tan! Not at alll must be no bronzer in here! Im pretty sure I got paler! I go tanning 2-3 times a week in a bed thats high uva/uvb (i think its called) I do the max time of 12 minutes each time! This tanning lotion compared to solid black creates no tan.

Pricewise even a bit more money I believe. Any suggestions on what would make me dark would be amazing. I don’t quite understand why I’m so pale still lol.

The return policy states that no returns because of these “bottles are brand new and unopened. ” False!! The bottle came with the cap taped with scotch tape. There was no seal And most tanning lotions expiration date starts when bottle is opened.

I could also tell the bottle was opened because at the top of the bottle by the cap the lable was cracked. So who knows how long this bottle has been sitting open And god only knows what could actually be in this bottle.

I will not by from this company again and recommend going through another company as well. I figured since i found it @ walmart that i wouldnt have ebay issues.

Im sorry but tanning lotions with bronzers only get so good. Charging $80-100 like many lotions these days is ridiculous. This stuff smells good, works, and is a great value for the money. Highly recommend.

this stuff is divine i love the smell i love the texture i love how it makes my skin dark if you love laying in tanning beds like me this Snooki ultra dark bronzer for you its affordable not expensive it doesn’t streak you it doesn’t turn you orange it jump starts your tan.

Nice smell, a bit like marzipan. Good texture and makes your skin feel soft and smooth. Haven’t noticed any significant difference to how tanned I look after a sunbed but only used it twice for 6 mins each to be fair.

Confident I will see a difference after a few more uses. The twin pack offer is an absolute bargain!.

Just returned from holiday and keeping up my tan I’m using sunbeds so purchased this to help moisturiser and tan. Smells great,very creamy and easily absorbed. Works good at tanning also .

This Downright Dark Bronzer really does enhance your tan. You end up with a nice natural colour that lasts better than any spray on product. Can even be used in natural sunlight – after 12 minutes in the sun I had taken on a good natural dark tan.

Downright Dark Bronzer also smells OK, not too strong and doesn’t leave you feeling too slimy afterwards so you don’t feel the need to wash it off right away.

This lotion works, but if you don’t wash your hands right after applying, you end up with orange palms, just wiping with a towel (like at a salon) wont help. I put this on my legs without even tanning, and it gives you a light tint.

It does give you that after tan burnt smell. I ordered something different, but I will still use this too, maybe mix it with left overy sample or something. I say it would be better for outdoor tanning.

Definitely smells good and leaves your skin soft and hydrated. Helps bronze but not sure if it’s the lotion or the fact that it’s my 3rd week of tanning 3 times a week. I will say though it’s better than other lotions i have used.

Im ghostly white an I wanted a light bronzer before I went to Cancun, I wanted some color. This is it no streaking, smells great, nice light gradual color the more you use it. Its ment for tanning beds but I used mine just while I was out door doing regular stuff.

Love this lotion! Please be advised that the “tingle” increases the circulation of blood and oxygen to the surface of the skin, which affects the production of melanin (the pigment that gives your skin its color) in the body.

You WILL BE RED UP TO 1 hr AFTER TANNING. This is not an allergic reaction. This tanning lotion is one of my top 5 I will always reach for. If you are not an experienced tanner – I would not recommend as the tingle is intense.

To my male Influenster’s: Please wash hands immediately after application and do not use the urinal. The “tingle” DOES NOT feel good on the southern region of the body.

I spent $30.00 on Ed Hardy Obnoxious tanning lotion. I gave this a generous 1 star due the dha in in this product and the streaking it caused. It took exfoliation to get it off my skin.

There is not a tingle after two minutes it burns your skin. I had to abandon tanning and couldn’t get home fast enough to wash it off. I tried it more than once to confirm and will be tossing the rest away.

Very disappointed.

My wife and I go tanning a lot and we have tried a lot of different tanning products. This product is one of the few that does exactly what it says it will do. It also doesnt stain your hands. It doesnt turn you orange either.

It actually gives you a fantastic tan. Keep it on a few hrs after you tan tho. And shower the night before you go tanning to remove any dead skin cells. this will help the product really work for you.

I tan more for my back as tanning draws out the moisture and helps relieve some of the chronic pain I have from back surgeries. I highly recommend this product as it’s the only one my wife and I use.

I don’t tan very often and I am very fair-skinned, when I started tanning someone suggested that I use this and let me try the bottle they had. I don’t typically buy bronzing lotions or anything of the sort, but I wanted to try this and I am familiar with the application.

The only thing I find repelling about this particular lotion is the scent. Most products like this have a pleasant “tropical” or cocoa butter scent, but this product has a very strong chemical odor. I like that it has a dark tint so I can tell if I missed a spot when applying and while most people don’t like that aspect, as I stated previously I don’t use these products very often and I like that extra comfort of knowing that I’m not going to have blotches.

After tanning and using this product I noticed immediate results. I was worried at first that it would be streaky because it dries very fast, but I didn’t notice any streaks. After tanning several times while using this products I achieved my desired tan and it took half of the time it has taken using other products.

I bought this product after researching online and reading product reviews. I am thrilled with the results! I am fair skinned, I also tend to freckle easily. Because of my fair skin most products will make me seem orange looking or even give my skin a red tint even though I’m not burned.

It has a pleasant smell, no very strong at all. In fact, out of all the many lotions I’ve tried this lotion smells least strong when I’m done. It will continue to darken your skin for hours after just as promised.

I recommend waiting at least four to five hours before showering after use to give the auto darkening time to work properly. It doesn’t streak easily since it’s very easy to rub into the skin. You will want to make sure you get all the lotion off your hands and wrists because it can stain there.

This is the best lotion I have ever used. It can be used in tanning bed or outdoors in the sun. Nice color and no streaks. Highly recommend it. You wont use anything else! Ever!

I have used this product several times now, usually before a holiday, and it does bring up an amazing glowing tan to my otherwise pasty body. You dont have to apply too much before a sunbed so it does go a long way which does make it good value for money.

I came across this product and said why not?! I took this with me to my trip to Puerto Rico. I tend to burn easily so after reading the reviews, I thought this little bottle was magic. The first day in PR, I burned so badly, like bad (definitely underestimated the sun).

I applied this product on my sunburns and skin. either my skin is resistant to products but this product did absolutely NOTHING to treat my burns. My burns went away after a week! My skin peeled so much; I applied this product religiously (after shower and at night before bed).

Unfortunately, this product did not treat my sunburns and did not help the peeling. I am glad it worked for others but did not work for me. Also, when you rub the product on your skin, it becomes white and you have to keep rubbing until the white is gone.

The pros is that my skin was nice and soft and made my tan looks nice!.

There is so much to love about this lotion. I don’t burn or peel, I have naturally tan (white) skin, but I do spend a lot of time in the sun and in both saltwater and chlorine. So, I was looking for something to really nourish my skin during summertime, and this is definitely it.

The lotion is super thick and creamy, which means that a little bit goes a long (like, a very long) way-I use about a dime size for an entire arm. I have had the bottle a week and I estimate it will last me at least a couple of months.

It also goes on thick but not greasy, if that makes sense. In other words, it feels heavy and luxurious when you put it on, but it absorbs fully into your skin (again, don’t use too much), leaving it soft and supple but not greasy or slimy at all.

The tropical scent is mild but divine. I can’t attest to it lengthening my tan yet, as it’s still summertime and I’m in the sun every day, but I am super interested to see that come fall. But I can see this as becoming a year-round product for me regardless of the season or if I have a tan.

I used it last night and it had a odd color to it it was not only brown but it was black in it and it had a really bad smell to it like the smell from a waste place. I know this is not normal I have used this brand before and it was nothing like this that was just one bottle idk about the other one yet.

the shopping was fast packaging was alright. Just don’t understand that smell I wanted to throw up I had to use it I had a little of the smell on me when I was done. The whole point of me getting this brand was that I smell good after I’m done tanning so if I have to run into work or the store I don’t smell like burn skin or something.

I received it super quick! Much cheaper then salon. Went to tan today, first time since last summer. It went on smooth & easy. It’s not slimy, goopy, or runny. It does have a lot of bronzing in it so make sure to wash hands after application but I see no streaking on my skin.

I’d highly recommend it & will order more Ed Hardy lotions.

I’m Native American so I have brown/olive skin. I get on the light side in winter. I did not know that this was a gradual tanning lotion. The color out of the bottle is very light brown. I recommend this if you are looking for a gradual tan over time.

For instant brown I use Tomas Tanning Lotion (gives instant dark brown with a sheer shine) or Tanwise Dark (comes out like a foam and makes you dark instantly but dries like a matte with no shine). However both of these products can do light streaks if you happen to get caught in rain or go to a water park ride.

However, for me after I have worn it for a day and been out in the sun, after I shower the next day I notice I still have good color on my legs. Like it baked and I do not have any streak issues with this day 2 look so I can go as is and need to re-apply.

Just depends on your original skin color.

It’s more like a tinted moisturizer than a self tanner. I’ve tried many many many self tanners and these just don’t give the color a self tanner usually gives me.

It’s a bit difficult to say since I have only used it once. I live in the UK! I am still not sure whether it is a fake tan product or simply a sun tanning product because it has not been made clear at all.

There are no instructions. It has deepened my tan but I have not had enough sun yet to see how far it will go and I really do not like the smell. I would have liked to see a much description of it’s use but for the price I thought I would give it a try.

I must say I was a bit nervous purchasing a tanning product online, without being able to open the product, to get an idea of the smell, anyone that tans knows no matter how good the product is the smell can be a huge turn off, or being able to see the texture of the lotion or the color of the bronzing product used in it.

I have used many creams on n off over the years and none have quite been as described for me. I wanted to use this before I wrote this review. It smells lovely, not strong and its a lovely light cream texture.

Goes on the skin nice, a little goes a long way and doesn’t leave a sticky feel. Iv used it twice now on 6 min sessions. I hadn’t been on the sunbed for 5 weeks due to illness and I only tend to go on once a week.

Others have said I look lovely and tanned even my legs. So its a thumbs up from me Super fast delivery too.

I absolutely love this sunbed lotion. It has quite a runny texture, but soaks into the skin beautifully, therefore you dont need as much as you would a cream, which means it lasts longer. It smells wonderful and my skins feel gorgeous after use.

I have also noticed that I dont feel sticky after application, so is perfect for use during a lunch break tanning session. No wonder this lotion has been going for so many years! I would definitely recommend this product.

Ive been going on the sun beds on and off for the past two month. I some times go 3 times a week or once a week. I dont tan very quickly but this cream works amazing. I exfoliate well before applying the cream.

Its always best to apply the cream just before going on the sun beds so that it hasnt sunk in. It smells like oranges too! See the attached pics for two month difference (please note your tan may differ to mine depending on how many sessions you go and for how long).

Used this cream 3 times since it’s been delivered, not impressed with it at all. Leaves skin all bitty and flakey with the bronzer. Always use bronzing subbed creams. But have to wipe this straight off every time because it doesn’t rub in and dries flakey which defeats the purpose off buying the bronzing creams.

Delivery was fast , cream just isn’t for me. Far better one on the market.
