20 Best Lotions For Keratosis Pilaris (2023 Updated)

Pretty disappointed. Cerave reaaally needs to specify which products are for face and which are for body. There’s zero indication on the bottle that says it’s for your body – it uses the same wording as most of cerave’s other products.

So you can’t tell when you buy the product in the store. I’ve been putting this on my face and wondering why my skin has been exponentially more oily even when only using a tiny bit. I saw the product in the store thinking it was for people like me and was like “yes! Something for textured faces!” But that’s not the case and I’ve only found out once coming to the website.

Please change your packaging to note which products go where. I strongly don’t recommend putting this product on your face unless you want your skin to be an ocean of oil. It doesn’t absorb into the skin well, and I’ve used who knows how many blotting sheets and paper towels trying to dry my face off from oils.

I probably look like I’m constantly sweating to all the people I work with haha. So I’m giving this a solid one star for how bad it is on the face. BUT my arms are super rough and have lots of little bumps, so I’m going to try using it on my body like it’s intended and see what happens.

I’m much more optimistic about how that will turn out since I’ve now heard that it’s really good for that. Then I’ll write another review for that experience.

I really liked this lotion but there were some catches for me. This lotion started to irritate my skin a lot and purge a little too harshly. It could be the way my skin is but I do get a little irritated from this.

I wouldn’t say it’s unbearable though. It’s tricky how I feel because initially I feel hydrated and I know I’m getting exfoliating benefits but if I use it everyday it dries my skin way too much so i’d have to alternate with a different moisturizer which means another moisturizer to buy and have on hand.

I feel they could’ve done better with this one, however, there’s no way it’s the worst out there or even close to being bad. Still has a nice texture, good ingredients, and ceramides. I would say it’s best suited for oily skin.

I like that it’s non comedogenic so you probably can use this on your face too!.

For those complaining about the smell, it’s a chemical exfoliant with aha and oatmeal and urea to name a few. It’s an excellent product for what you need it for. The smell is not strong, it just has a similar smell like a self tanning product.

But if you want to exfoliate your skin and smooth it and get rid of the bumps or for what I use it for is the alpha hydroxy acid is excellent for getting rid of crepey dry skin. The smell is minor compared to the benefits.

It doesn’t last and wears off quickly. If you really can’t stand it then use some scented lotion on top and just use this for your problem areas. Or some perfume. But I’m telling you, your skin will get toned and youthful real quick with this lotion and use sparingly.

The main complaint I have is the price point for what you get. So I use it on upper arms and top and inside thighs, where the sun damage is. It even seems to get rid of the sun spots that have popped up in recent years.

I used the KP scrub first in the shower. I had lost 50 lbs recently and really needed to tighten up some stretch marks and it’s working after only a couple of weeks. I probably won’t buy it again because it’s done its job and now I’ll switch to Shea butter.

I came here specifically to buy this lotion after using it in the bye-bye bumps box and I was shocked at the rating! This is the best lotion I’ve used – seriously. And I’ve been searching for a good lotion for SO LONG.

I’m Filipino and French which equates to thick hair and dry skin. This lotion not only makes my skin feel good it makes it LOOK good. And I didn’t even notice the smell that’s giving this such a low rating.

I’ve used far more expensive face oils that have smelled worse than this. It also could potentially be individuals skin as acids can interact to create different smells. I hope this lotion doesn’t go anywhere any time soon because I’ve finally found my go-to.

Okay, hear me out. My entire life I’ve avoided products specifically targeted towards KP because I always thought that it was just a gimmick and wouldn’t actually work and just sought out products with ingredients that I had looked into in peer reviewed research articles.

I decided to pick this (and the scrub) up on a whim when I was shopping and when I tell you nothing has worked better for my KP I genuinely mean it. Of course the bumps are not completely gone, but the improvements made so far are so much more than I could have wished! It does smell a bit like formaldehyde (shoutout to my first year anatomy lab) right out of the bottle but the smell disappears right after rubbing it in; personally, I think its worth it so that im able to wear a short sleeved shirt out of the house for the first time in a long time.

I have ultra sensitive, reactive and acne prone skin with occasional eczema flare ups and I learned the hard way that, contrary to FAB’s claims, this moisturizer is not meant for skin like mine. I bought it a few years ago and almost immediately after applying it for the first time, I felt a tingling, then burning sensation, across almost my entire face; my skin then flushed red and felt warm to the touch.

A few painful minutes later, I had to wash my face and apply my regular moisturizer because the reaction didn’t fade. I tried it again a few days later but experienced the same thing. I even bought this again a few months ago, thinking I must have done something wrong because so many people love it, but no; I had the same reaction this time as well.

Because I’ve had very sensitive skin almost all my life, I know which ingredients to avoid based on past reactions but I blame myself for accepting the brand’s claims and not checking the ingredients list carefully.

Had I done so, I wouldn’t have purchased this all as this contains eucalyptus oil, a fragrant essential oil that serves no purpose other than to cause irritation. While not everyone will react to essential oils, they’ve caused some of the worst reactions I’ve had and they don’t belong in products made specifically for those with sensitive skin.

Either FAB needs to stop claiming this is a moisturizer that even the most sensitive, distressed and eczema prone skin can use OR remove the eucalyptus oil altogether. I personally don’t recommended this moisturizer at all but, for those that do want it, I suggest patch testing, at the very least.

I’m so glad I bought a tester/sample size. It has silicone in it, so it will pill- especially if you use any other products that have silicone. Even with the most simple routines, no actives and just a serum or an oil it pills.

A lot. Creates this gunk on your cheeks and jawline mixing with other ingredients in your routine. I keep it pretty ‘clean’ when it comes to my products and nothing else I use makes my face sticky, pill or any of that annoying stuff.

This product though? I rarely experience it not pilling or, worse, turning into sludge just after using a couple of my pricey products that I feel are almost wasted when I use this over them. Especially when you’re paying a dollar or more per ml, would rather go a superior brand with cleaner ingredients.

I just bought kiehls ultra because I’ve enjoyed that in the past. I bought this because I have dry, sensitive skin. I need lots of moisture. I’ve found it’s best to rely on more than just a moisturiser for the amount of moisture I need so I incorporate face oils – especially in cooler months – like rose hip, vitamin e oils and I’ve just bought face hero so will be back with a review on that.

I usually really struggle in winter but the face oils with a good moisturiser, regular hyaluronic acid use and not going overboard with actives is key for me.

After a long and very expensive search for the perfect moisturizer, I finally found it with this product! I put my skin through h*ll and back last year which resulted in an acne rosacea flare up, followed by a bad case of hormonal acne (which was the result of another issue in my life).

Saw a derm because I was miserable and she prescribed azelaic acid. So my routine has been Inkey List Salicyclic Acid cleanser, azelaic acid foam, and FAB Ultra Repair Cream! At the beginning the cleanser and AA really dried out my skin, but using this moisturizer really balanced everything out to where I can use them both AM & PM with no problem whatsoever.

Not to mentioned it really calms down any redness or sensitivity (from wearing uncomfortable masks all day). And if there’s ever a night where I feel I need to lock in some more hydration I’ll use the Elta MD intense moisturizer on top of this one (as recommended by my derm.

) So yeah, this moisturizer feels so perfect in my routine. In the AM though, I do have to wait for it to sink in and dry down before I apply sunscreen. It will pill if I apply sunscreen on directly after using the moisturizer.

(I use EltaMD UV Clear Tinted) I’ve also only ever used this during winter time, so I’m curious to see how it will perform during warmer months! For further reference, I have sensitive, combo skin and hormonal acne.

But honestly, this moisturizer has helped balance out my skin so much that it feels normal, no excessive oiliness or dryness anywhere.

This product is outstanding, very soothing and healing. My toddler son developed kp on his cheeks and back of the arms. We have been using KP Away for approx. 9 weeks and so far we have seen great improvement.

His skin has become very smooth, red “dots” are getting smaller and fading and the “blemishes” left by old bumps are vanishing. The kp on the back of his arms is almost completely gone. I also would like to mention that the customer service we have received from the KP Away folks has been great.

They have answered all our questions promptly and provided good recommendations on how to use the product. After the dermatologist diagnosed him with kp, he recommended to use a moisturizer with salicylic acid, which we used for several weeks.

While we saw his skin getting “smoother” (the bigger pimple-liked bumps reduced significantly, although smaller bumps remained), his face still showed red spots, irritation and red “dots” (not raised).

We realized this approach while effective treating some “symptoms” was not attacking the root cause of the problem and could potentially increase irritation. We needed something different. After searching for alternative treatments, we came across KP Away and its novel approach to treating kp, which resonated to me primarily because it redefined the root cause of the problem as lack of essential lipids in the skin vs.

a lack of exfoliation. We decided to switch to KP Away to treat the problem at the source (deep moisturization, lipid repairing and rebuilding), reduce the irritation and redness and establish a treatment sustainable in the long run (not based on acids or “harsh” stuff that could exacerbate irritation).

We apply KP Away once daily after his evening bath (to clean his face we use a very gentle sensitive skin baby wash). The cream feels great, it’s easy to apply and absorbs quickly. I love the fact that because it is not based on exfoliating acids, we can apply more liberally without concerns about irritation the next day (which we had seen with the salicylic acid-based moisturizer) or increased sun sensitivity.

This allows his skin to “relax” while keeping the kp at bay. Also, per Anar’s recommendation we stopped using chemical sunscreen and switched to mineral sunscreen (we noticed the previous sunscreen was creating irritation).

The Badger Baby Sunscreen has been a great complement to KP Away (organic, simple ingredients, very soothing, etc), which we apply every morning before school or playing outside. I am planning to update this review at the 3, 6 and 12 month mark.

We intend to continue using KP Away for the foreseeable future. My advice to parents: be patient and faithful. This product works! Thank you Anar and Carly for a great product!.

I tried KP appx a year ago and fell in love with this product. I have had KP since I was a child and it runs in my family. I have tried harsh exfoliating products to reduce the annoying red bumps, which did nothing.

I have tried eating less gluten and it is still there. People have asked me since o was a kid if I had a rash or if my red bumps were contagious. I told them it’s similar to excema as it’s easier to explain.

KP Away is t the first product I have used that actually reduces the appearance of the bumps. It also leaves your skin feeling super moisturizes without feeling greasy. I love that it is made by doctors and not that it does not have added parable or petroleum.

If you are tired of KP bumps, get this!.

I have super sensitive skin so I get worried when o buy products, especially those I can use all over body. This product is amazing! Never once had a breakout. I use this every morning and every night, mostly as a moisturizer for my face as its very hydrating.

You get a lot of product in one container so its going to last me a little while. Overtime this helped me with lessening of my KP as well on the back of my arms. I would recommend this to everyone, if you have KP or not, because this cream is so multi functional.

This will especially come in handy as winter and dry skin season is coming up.

This product has been introduced to me by my friend. I am really having issues with my oily and dry skin. I have tried using moisturizers and such but it is just not enough—my skin turns dry and oily after an hour or so.

I bought this item for back and chest acne. To start, the packaging of this company is wonderful and sturdy. It’s a amber glass jar and aluminum lid. I have never had them leak or break ( even though they have fallen out of my cabinet multiple times).

The glasses and lids are easy to recycle at recycling plants or finding uses around the house. Next, the product itself. Fragrance- Wonderful. I love the bergamot scent better than any other fragrance they use.

It smells like earl grey tea. Very luxurious. Texture- Different than any lotion. It’s predominantly water but the lotion is thick until applied to the skin where it absorbs and disappears. The scent is there if your nose is close but would otherwise be unnoticeable.

Ingredients- Overall Fairly simple. It includes high quality and high quality of desired ingredients. Function- the main ingredient is a glycolic acid. I will say my skin purged in the beginning as it had not been used to active ingredients but with around a week’s use.

They all disappeared.

I am obsessed with this product! I don’t know how I lived without it before! I am struggling with keratosis pilaris and have been on a market for a while to find a write moisturiser to tackle the imperfections caused by keratosis pilaris.

I have been using this product for the past month, religiously every evening on my thighs, buttocks area and upper arms and within a month I’ve notice at least 30 % reduction the rough bumps and lumps caused by keratosis pilaris.

I really hope that I will see even better results within the second month. The 170 ml jar approx lasts me already a month and there is still good bit left, maybe for another 3 weeks, based on my experience I think this product is a very good value for money.

I also love the gentle scent and the texture of B1, so light and creamy!.

This stuff is insane. I have very dry skin, especially on my legs, and it can be very rough if I don’t moisturise every day. I also suffer from eczema so can get bad flare ups and dry patches. The first time I used this, I didn’t think about the fact that I had an eczema break out at the time and the fact that this had 9% glycolic.

I was not anticipating the burn! Ended up jumping around naked in my room for a few minutes waiting for it to subside. It’s not a bad burn, just enough to know the stuff is definitely doing something dramatic to your skin.

After the burning had calmed down, that was when I was blown away. My skin has literally never felt so soft and hydrated in my whole life. Not just the kind of hydrated that you get from normal creams where it is all on the surface and you know you could wash it off in the shower.

This cream felt like it had fixed my skin and moisturized it from the inside out. I am in love and want to stock up for fear I will have to be without it in future. The second time I used it it didn’t burn at all, just a little tingling, and had the same beautiful effect.

If I could gives this 10 stars, I would! I have had keratosis pilaris in my upper arms and entire legs since I was a teenager. I’ve tried dry brushing and dozens of different treatments to no avail. The FIRST time I applied this stuff, my arms and legs felt like absolute velvet and within a week of first scrubbing in the shower with a nylon bath brush (the natural fiber ones break me out into hives) and applying this after my showers while my skin is still damp, my arms are completely bump free and my strawberry legs have significantly lightened and my skin is velvety soft.

This is also the only lotion I’ve ever found that I can apply immediately after shaving my legs without breaking out in hives or becoming very irritated and itchy. I will buy this stuff forever and in bulk! I’m also insanely picky and sensitive to smells and this is so lightly scented with a very mellow almost cocoa butter smell that fades immediately.

TLDR; Absorbs instantly, not sticky, not irritating (even right after shaving), no intense scent, destroys KP and leaves my skin velvety soft. Will never stop using this!.

I purchased this in an attempt to fight pesky acne on my back that just NEVER seemed to go away. I’m 28, and ever since high school I’ve struggled with blemishes on my shoulders and back. I’ve tried tons of products over the years, followed all the recommendations and nothing ever seemed to work.

Finally, I tried this product- and I can finally say that my back has completely cleared up! It took some time of (relatively) consistent use- I started by applying it every night before bed (at least when I remembered to), and by the time I was through the first bottle (which lasted a couple of months), my back was completely cleared up!! I purchased a second bottle, and now only use it once every week or two, and it seems to have kept my problem skin at bay.

To me, it’s a great price point for what you get, especially now that I feel like I can use it more for “maintenance”, and don’t need to use as much product- I’ve had my second bottle for 6 months now and am probably only about half way through it.

Of course different products work for different people, but I would highly recommend giving this a try if you’re struggling with body blemishes!.

I thought I’d give this a go to try something from the body products range, and it’s going well so far. My pores are still a bit prominent on my arms, but over time this has definitely helped reduce them.

Consistency is definitely needed with this, but you only need to use a small amount at a time. Lovely fresh and clean scent as well, so it’s nice for applying after a shower. Would recommend for someone who is willing to put in the long-term consistency I think this product needs to show its best results.

This product will definitely exfoliate dry skin, just don’t use it daily, as it is strong & will do the job fast & with conservative usage. I use it all over my body, focusing on arms, hands, legs and feet.

I’d recommend using it only once or twice a week to start in order to gauge how it works for you. I have fairly dry, flakey skin that isn’t helped any by the dry air in Alberta! I have found this product quickly takes the flakes away much faster & more effectively than Paula’s Choice 10% AHA body lotion, which I had been using daily.

I’m going to stick with this Glytone Exfoliating lotion from now on. This product is even amazing at exfoliating thick flaking heels, although you may not notice it until you shower – if you gently use fingernails & pads of fingers, or a foot file, you’ll see a bunch of old thick skin come away to quickly reveal a much improved skin texture.

My hands and wrists are often extra dry & flakey due to cleaning and frequent hand washing. When I first bought this product, I used it nightly for a few days & ended up with redness and a bit of almost rawness at one wrist.

I don’t blame the product however, as I was using it just as I had with the other lower AHA percentage lotion (nightly). Once or twice a week will do – again because it is very effective & faster working.

I highly recommend this product to anyone with flakey skin. Just go slow with it. I have no problems with it when I use it once or twice a week instead of nightly.

After many attempts to try and correct my raging KP on both my arms and upper legs, I decided to try [brand:glytone] as a last ditch effort after seeing it at my dermatologist office. I then read up on it and made the purchase from Dermstore.

Com along with a few other products. This lotion is incredibly thick, comes out of the dispenser nicely but I found I was using so much just to fully cover my arms and legs because it wasn’t spreading easily.

After a few uses I decided to apply when fresh out of the shower before drying off. This made all of the difference! A little product spread with ease and left a brief white cast before quickly absorbing into my skin.

It does burn a bit upon application (esp. in drier months or if I have minor cuts on my hands), but wow does it soften! I’d say after using a full bottle so probably one month’s time my KP was significantly smoother way less red in appearance.

Really this killed two birds with one stone since it continuously makes my KP better and actually moisturizes my skin without the illusion of it by product just sitting on top. There is 17. 5% glycolic acid in this product which is very high (and the key active ingredient!) and has been just super effective.

It’s a bit pricey at $43 for 8. 4 oz, but now that I know how to use less with damp skin, this second bottle and so on will last longer. I do not use on my chest or face- just full arms, full legs, butt and feet for softness and healthy glowy skin.

Works so well that I don’t need to try and more products, I’m sold on this brand.

After the first use you can genuinely feel the difference and the most difference you see is in 2 weeks the skin just looks more soft and like you want to touch it amazing

KERATOSIS PILARIS. Yeah. Kp is one of my biggest insecurities honestly. I hate that my arms are red more than the actual bumps. I use a lot of kind to treat and it is effective or not or pricy. Today I want to share AmLaction lotion product because of the more affordable price.

($13) and easy to buy at Walmarl, Target, Walgreen. First, I was verry nervous to buy this because there were so many people complaining about the smell. Lol. Yep. I thought it would be unbearable, but dont worry it is slight and goes away after few minutes.

Apply 2 times daily and within 3 days. I have felt my skin is softer and smoother, and by the third areas affected with KP started to see improvement. Of couse I will combine with other exfloliate scrub.

But beleived me. It is a great product, plz dont be intimidated to try it! And BIG NOITCED -Always use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterward.

I received this product complimentary from First Aid Beauty to review and give my honest opinions. This ultra repair cream has a rich thick balm texture. It is emollient without being greasy or heavy.

It is suitable for all skin types but is designed to hydrate dry parched skin and is safe for sensitive skin. It is formulated with collodial oatmeal, shea butter, allantoin, ceramides and FAB’s antioxidant booster.

These ingredients work together to moisturise and soothe the skin. The tub says to apply from head to toe once or twice daily. I found that this was perfect for moisturising my body as it didn’t leave my body feeling sticky like some creams do.

It took some rubbing in to get rid of the white cast, but once it’s worked into the skin it absorbs quickly. I did feel a bit of tingling on my skin, which I assume is from the eucalyptus oil and I can smell a slight hint of it in the cream.

I was surprised to find that it also worked well for my face. It layered well on top of my serums and absorbed into my skin. My face felt nice and moisturised and this got rid of my dry patches. However, because of the slight tingling sensation, I stopped using this on my face because I have quite sensitive skin.

Therefore, this has become my designated body cream.

I genuinely have not be able to use anything else on my face, but now I am at a loss. I have been purchasing tubs and tubes of this since 2018. I would say I’ve spent thousands on Ultra Repair Cream over the years because it’s all I can use.

I noticed about 7 months ago when I received my new tub in the mail it said “no artificial fragrance” as opposed to “fragrance free” like it used to… I was afraid to try anything else, so I used it, all year I’ve had random rashes and bumps on my face.

Sometimes I’ll get in bed and my face will just feel hot and itch. I on a whim decided to read reviews wherever this is sold today… and my constant skin irritation is all starting to make sense. WHY WHY WHY would FAB change the formula to this cult moisturizer.

This is heartbreaking for me, no exaggeration… I someone who has struggled so intensely with their skin. A product and company I trusted for my sensitive, dry, acne prone skin added wholly unnecessary essential oils to their main product marketed towards people with troubled skin.

I genuinely upset and feel sick that I slathered this all over my face today. I would go take a shower and wash it off, but I don’t even have an alternative product to moisturize with on hand. Please, please change the product back to what it was.

I feel duped. There was no announcement, no reasoning. Nothing. Change it back PLEASE. You’ve lost what would have been a lifelong customer.

I am using the product for the back of my arms. After two weeks my husband reports that the bumpy things on my arms are “less sharp. ” I like how thick the wash is and how it lathers. The lotion is thick too.

The fragrance is not overpowering and fades quickly after application. My skin is a little tacky after using the lotion, but it’s not too noticeable unless I put a long-sleeve shirt on. I like it. It’s doing what I hoped it would do! Thank you!!!!.

I’ve had terrible kp my entire life, and I’ve tried dozens of different products to treat it. Nothing I’ve tried so far even comes close to Glytone. The combination of the body wash (which I use sparingly) and lotion has given me smoother skin than I thought possible.

The lotion must be used consistently to be effective. The body wash also works great as an exfoliant before shaving. Be warned, however, that you will get the worst sunburn of your life if you’re not diligent with sunscreen.

So I’ve had KP on my arms & legs for about 5-7 years now. Within the last year for whatever reason it’s gotten worse. I read the glowing reviews for this, & decided to give it a try. Worst case scenario, I have a heavy duty moisturizer for dry winter/covid cleaning skin/hands.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this product worked! The moisture really does last (like until my shower the next morning), & I’ve seen a noticable change in my KP. Bumps are few and far between & also much smaller, they’re not quite so rough feeling, & they no longer have that red/irritated look to them, so they don’t stand out on my fair skin anywhere near as much as they used to.

I can feel comfortable in a short sleeve shirt without all the anxiety & thinking about covering my arms up all day. (I used this in conjunction with the Derma Doctor AHA/BHA cleanser. I originally got the cleanser to use on my face, but it’s way too harsh.

It works great as a spot scrub for my KP though!).

KP Duty dermatologist moisturizing therapy for dry skin is an amazing product. It’s pricey but well worth it. I had KP on the backs of my upper arms especially when I was younger and would even cover them with foundation when wearing sleeveless tops.

My two dermatologists prescribed me Lac-Hydrin which was a lot more affordable but I personally stumbled after doing research upon KP Duty and it personally was much more effective for me than Lac-Hydrin.

The formula for the lotion is very thick so a little can go a long way. It is a bit sticky when applied and since it has glycolic in it it would leave small bleached stains on my towels and clothing.

To counter this, I would wear an old long sleeve shirt. This was effective as the product would not accidentally rub off. After a month of using the moisturizer along with the scrub I saw visible difference.

My bumps were noticeably less and the redness was almost completely gone. After about 3 weeks time, I noticed that it was making my skin a bit sensitive as perhaps it was strong on my skin. I changed frequency to every three days to maintain.

Although KP Duty is expensive it is a product that I think is worth it and effective in KP reduction.

This body lotion has a thicker consistency but rubs in well and isnt greasy. Its only a 4oz tube but you dont need much because a little goes along way. You put this lotion on spots where you get KP and it helps to gently exfoliate the rough skin with the AHAs it has in it while helping to moisturize.

To be honest, i dont really have KP but get some breakouts on my shoulders and back. This lotion along with the KP body scrub and body peel pads really helped my body breakouts so its worth a try if you get body breakouts and Ulta is having a sale on the Dermadoctor line right now so its a good time to try it.

This lotion also doesnt have to much of a smell and with the very faint smell it does have it doesnt smell bad.

I got a generous sample in the Space NK goodie bag last year and was only going to use this as hand cream as I have a sensitive skin condition affecting my legs and many topical creams leave a burning sensation.

I tried this all the same and was really surprised that my skin didn’t feel as bad as it usually does when I apply creams. This is a real bonus for me as anything that relives the burning sensation even just a little is a big win for me.

It does have an odd smell that I can’t put my finger on and I don’t like. I see there is a fragrance free version and I would certainly have to use that one. It does moisturise without that greasy feeling.

I would definitely purchase this but it’s very expensive for a cream. If I didn’t have a skin condition I wouldn’t find this value for money but because I’ve suffered for years I will spend money for even small improvements.

I’ve taken a star off because of price and smell.

I have ingrown hair after waxing/shaving (perks of being an Asian!). Nothing would help. I have rough, bumpy skin. This doesn’t help overnight but it definitely smoothens. However, 2 weeks of continuous use and my skin looked much better.

I have tried other AHA products but I didn’t like the consistency of them. My colleagues say I smell like playdough?!! whenever I use the Ameliorate lotion. To those who don’t mind fragrance, you can purchase a scented version.

Overall, it’s a very good product that does the job, consistency is the key if you got strawberry skin!I have also recently bought skin exfoliant from Ameliorate from look fantastic. And currently looking into purchasing the scalp exfoliant.

Reading about this product, my first impression was that it claims to deliver an awful lot more than your average body lotion. I don’t suffer from Keratosis Pilaris so can’t comment on that, however it has had a remarkable effect on ingrown hairs under my arms and on my bikini line.

It hasn’t eradicated them completely, but the difference is noticeable. My skin feels softer too. As instructed, I applied the cream daily. It’s lightly fragranced, not too thick, absorbs fairly quickly and didn’t irritate my sensitive skin.

Though not an issue during the winter months, I noticed that sun exposure should be limited after use. It’s quite a pricey product, but it does come in a generous sized tube which should last a while.

I bought this combo about 6 months ago. I am 27 and recently started noticing the back of my legs would get bumpy after I shaved and bumps/ingrown hairs on my bikini line and underarms. I have very sensitive skin and have struggled with acne my whole life so I figured it was just pimples, but they were different and I couldn’t figure out how to get on top of it.

I became very insecure with my boyfriend, which sucks! I randomly saw a post by Dr. Lee on her Dr. Pimple Popper Instagram, went on her website and was thrilled to use After Pay. Within the FIRST USE I saw and felt a difference! I couldn’t believe it.

I now use both on the back of my legs, my bikini and underarms when I am noticing issues. Sometimes I forget to use the scrub in the shower and just use the lotion and it works sooooo well overnight.

I just recently went out of town for the weekend, when I came home I noticed a few bumps/pimples on my legs and butt and used the scrub and lotion and the next morning I felt flawless. I only have to use a very little bit so it has lasted me a long time, which is bang for my buck and that makes me haapppyyy.

I use about a nickle size of the scrub when I need to do all of the back of my thighs, butt, bikini and underarms. I do about 1-2 pumps of lotion if I am lotioning all of those areas. Just 1 pump for my legs only.

I will continue to purchase these! I’m super mad at myself that I didn’t take pictures!.

So I bought this and started using it about a month ago. This seemed to be SLMD’s “solution” for keratosis pilaris. I’ve had it since I was a kid. And I swear if I hear “apricot scrub” one more time, I will lose it.

This is my first attempt at healing/helping as an adult, at 28. I had all but given up. I was so, so hopeful about this. The thing is, it’s not helping my KP. At all. The worst of the KP is on the back of my arms, and I’m certain there has been no improvement.

Even with dry brushing, and this system whenever I showered or had a larger skin care “session”. The only thing I’m not doing, is using it daily. Because I don’t shower daily. I LOVE how it smells. How it makes my skin feel when I wash it off.

I feel pampered, then the placebo effect of helping the KP. I wish it worked, because I would 100% buy it again if it did, and happily give all my money to SLMD. But I can’t justify the price at this time in my financial life with something that doesn’t do what it’s intention is.

Heartbreaking, really.

I saw an ad for this on IG and immediately recognized the keratosis pilaris I have been struggling with forever but never knew the proper name for. I have tried everything but after reading more about my chicken skin I realized I was going about treating it all wrong! Promises made and promises kept, after about two weeks of regular use (I also used a mitt in the shower with the scrub which might be too rough for some) I immediately noticed improvement.

Months later the difference in my skin is night and day. In addition to being clearer, my skin is way softer, which is a nice fringe benefit of the intense exfoliation. This product was a higher price point than I usually spend on skin care but for me it was totally worth it.

Everyone is different but this made a huge difference for my keratosis pilaris and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a solution for theirs.
