20 Best Lotion For Tinea Versicolor (2023 Updated)

Hi guys! So I’ve been trying this skincare brand called Tree To Tub. It’s a small brand but it’s really, really good. So I’ve been trying the vitamin C Body wash for dry sensitive skin in the scent citrus which is currently sold out right now.

And I’ve also been trying the ultra gentle shea butter lotion with it’s unscented and it’s also for sensitive skin, and I’ve been using this for about three months now and I can say that I’ve seen a drastic change in my skin.

I went from wearing a full face of makeup to like literally nothing because of the way that my skin looks. I actually like the way my skin looks. I like the product, I like how it feels, I like what they stand for.

You know, they stand for a lot. So tree to tub started with a kid in Taiwan, you know, and so the fact that they used their culture and native land to create something beautiful for everyone is just amazing.

So yeah, I recommend this to everybody. I really recommend you try it if you have sensitive skin, if you deal with eczema or psoriasis or any sort of sensitivity to the skin. Ciao!.

My hands get dry during the cold seasons, but this year I experienced the worst it’s ever been and didn’t know what to do. I had tiny bumps all over my fingers, scabs, skin peeling, and crazy itching and burning.

A couple years ago, the dermatologist diagnosed sun sensitivity especially on my arms where the skin was red, itchy and also had hard knots under each hair follicle. Now I use sun protection lotion for both types of rays and Aquanil HC lotion every day – regardless of the weather.

The sun lotion alone did not take care of the itching or the bumps. Now, I don’t have any symptoms but always use these products. I really was first introduced to Aquanil HC lotion when I was in the hospital in the new patient “welcome basket”.

I did not think I needed it then but kept it anyway. Then a couple months later, I found it really helps with my sun sensitivity. My doctor says it is fine to use it.

I have sun sensitivity on my arms. This is the only product without a prescription that stops the itching, red bumps and swelling. I wear a sun shirt when outside that helps also. .

Resinol is one of those classic products you can always depend on. I came upon it by accident after using pine tar soap, and I then did some research for other products related to that form of healing– simple elements from nature that weren’t all tricked up with chemicals and pharmaceuticals.

Resilol does the job, whether it’s a tiny itch from a mosquito bite or a rash that pops out if you’re allergic to, say, detergent. And the scent will take you back to camping in a pine cabin in the woods.

Have been using this for years its still the same ointment and it really works. Have pain and swelling in armpit, doctor couldn’t resolve it. So I went back to this ointment my mother used to used. Resinol took the swelling and pain away.

Decided to buy a big jar to keep, but it work and cuts down the high price doctor bill. Happy customer!!!!.

I never write reviews but I just had to let everyone know how great this lotion is. I’ve suffered from eczema all my life but just recently I’ve had a major flare up on the back of my neck. Sun and sweat were the enemy.

I would try everything from applying sunscreen, using MUTIPLE different creams/lotions on it every time it was dry, putting my hair down, and wearing a hat to cover it from the sun. My eczema was so inflamed and it burned to put on lotion.

I hated going out because of it. Nothing worked until I started using this cream. Seriously, after two days, my skin improved. Its been a week and my neck is free of eczema! I wish I found this much earlier, would have saved me a lot of trouble and money.

I have tried EVERYTHING to deal with eczema on my face and places on my wrist and fingers. I used every brand that normally recommended like Cetaphil, neutrogena, aveeno, etc. I ordered expensive stuff from Roden and Fields, and Dermastore and I had prescription meds for skin and around eyes.

This cheap cream from Walmart this Cortizone 10 has been amazing. Where other sensitive skin and fragrance free creams could make me more sensitive and cause more pain and I would have to stop using this one has been wonderfully healing.

It has not cured everything but has given me immediate relief and made things better.

Moving away from Dapsone believing it to be a gluten issue to cure; I went back to this product with better success for diminsshing lingering infection postules and scabbing. I had used this product after seeing it being used on me while I was battling breakouts while having Venus Stasis, which did get remedied with 2 angiograms into my groin stents.

Apparently the wound clinic and local ultrasound techs from BMC could not grasp that blood clot damage went up higher than mid-thigh. All they could tell me venus statis could not be cured. Bah Humbug, I know it is not Xmas, but either way using it for that to help and now with these dermatology break outs – it helps out a whole lot.

I love the light fragrance of this stuff, which actually influenced me to buy it more than once. It has almost the consistency of vaseline, but not as thick and sticky. It is a translucent pale purple that totally disappears when you apply it.

I like it more than the Baza cream, which is also good, but this ointment just smells so good! Not at all a strong smell, though.

I had to get a container of Bag Balm after I saw what it did to my son’s hands after 12 hours of wearing it. He will not wear work gloves to save his life when he is outside splitting wood or riding his bike.

So he gets extremely chapped skin on the backs of his hands that crack and bleed. My mom had some at her house that I tried on a whim when he showed me how bad his hands were. I put a thin layer on the backs of his hands and he actually commented the next morning how well the Bag Balm made his hands feel, as if it actually was still on his hands doing something.

I commented that my fingertips felt better from applying the Bag Balm on him. (My fingers, hands and feet are prone to splits and cracks, and I have had a terrible time finding something that works. ) It is a miracle worker.

I have been using this for many years, especially in the winter but whenever it’s needed I like to have it handy. I am glad to see it available more mainstream now, it used to only be seen in the farming communities such as Agway, which I still support.

The products have greatly increased as have the uses. I use it mostly on my hands and feet; apply it and put on socks (gloves if needed) before bed. I worked in doctors offices for many years so my hands were so dry from latex gloves and hand washing that they were cracked and bleeding most days.

This was the only product that did any good. As for feet, I always tried to keep my feet in good shape but of course winter made it tougher. There is a slight odor not everybody loves but keep in mind this is “udder cream” with a slight medicinal property so it’s not something with sugar and roses.

I buy a lot of products for my skin. I never really wanted to buy the bag bomb because it was so expensive. I am unable to go to the store at the moment so I ordered as a Walmart plus member. when I received my back bomb it had a finger swipe in it and a couple little particles.

Thank God I got my order this time because for three orders my order were delayed two of them not even reaching my house. someone needs to hold the people at the Walmart stores accountable.

I bought this thinking it would protect my dry skin. I already use other moisturisers of similar cost but because this was offering 48 hours o thought it would be more moisturising. It is not. It barely moisturised at all.

Granted it sunk in quickly but it seemed to provide no moisturising at all. I used up the whole product hoping to see improvement after several days, but no. I also bought their lip balm and lip barrier stick and both of these were useless as well.

Really disappointed as seen advertised on TV.

This really works. I had really dry skin on my elbows that were painful and cracking and I use this twice a day. The dryness went in just under 3 days. The itchiness stopped as soon as I used it. The lotion is even effective if you have a shower or bath as it keeps on working.

There’s very little scent to it and can be used by all of the family and all year around. It isn’t thick or sticky and easily sinks in. I have also used it on my heels and it works really well at keeping them soft and smooth.

I haven’t seen a downside to this lotion and it’s easily affordable.

I have very dry skin, very itchy at times. I had hoped this would help, but of all it promised, nothing worked. It was almost waxy on the skin, had to rub it in properly, it felt more like a film on top of the skin and later some came off in rolls when rubbing the itch, because that it didn’t sooth either.

I tried it for 3 – 4 nights and all those nights the itch kept me awake. It’s not a reaction of some sort, it just didn’t suppress any itch, it didn’t work for me at all. Maybe it’s my skin, I don’t know, but it felt like a total waste of my money.

I’ve had some real skin issues and don’t know what was happening weird rashes and such. I was having colonics and I did have parasites once I started getting cleaned out my skin started breaking out.

Have been using this product to control athlete foot for years. First, the Tea Tree Ultimates almost eradicates fungi. In the shower, it washes away surface fungi. After drying feet, I massage them with foot cream.

Second, I continue using the Tea Tree Ultimates to keep fungi off feet every day. So far, athlete foot doe not come back!.

Made an account just to says this stuff WORKS. I had an itchy patch on the back crease of my knee that I assumed was a poison ivy rash for a few days as I had been around the plant the day before the patch showed up.

When it began to get larger and more bumps showed up on the edges. I realized it was something else. By the time I got into my DR. it was going up my thigh and down my calf at an alarming rate. I was ready to pull my hair out, it itched to badly.

Benadryl didn’t work, various creams failed too. I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t leave it alone as hard as I tried not to scratch. My dr. gave me a through look over, no other spots or rashes but determined it was fungal.

He scoffed at the price a little, paid $15, but I would have paid anything to get some releif and this is alot more affordable than most of the creams that are $10-12 for a tiny tube. This works, more than worth it!.

My daughter’s skin is extremely sensitive. Despite constant diaper changes and use of creams she still had a nasty rash that wouldn’t heal. The moisture gave her small red bumps on her bottom (yeast growing) and after a week she built a resistance to the prescription yeast cream.

This soap is marketed as a product that prevents skin infections by promoting healthy bacteria on the skin. It is targeted at athletes who participate in contact sport, especially wrestling. Wow, to me that’s a pretty tall order – promote good bugs while suppressing bad bugs.

How is that done? The two main active ingredients are tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil. It smells like potent medicine although the ingredients are listed as natural. The box lists these conditions it is supposed to fight: ringworm, impetigo, athlete’s foot, jock itch, acne, staph, and tinea versicolor.

I’m not a wrestler but I do come in contact with dirty disgusting equipment. Where would that be you ask. Surprisingly at the hospital and at the gym. I’ve gotten community acquired MRSA (antibiotic resistant staph) and athlete’s foot (fungus) from the gym.

Just think about how many people have grabbed those plastic covered barbells with their sweaty hands. They are never cleaned. So, a nice shower at home with Defense soap is just the antidote to all those bugs.

Does it work? I don’t know for sure since it will take time to see if it helps me avoid the conditions I have mentioned. I will say that the soap lathers well, feels good, and well, smells like it is doing its job on those nasty bugs.

Only a clinical laboratory microbiology culture can tell for sure that the bad bugs are being suppressed. Fortunately, the scent does not linger like a cologne. In the interim, you can feel better about the defense you have put up and that alone is worth the price you pay.

I received a 2pack of DEFENSE soap bars through the Sparkreviewer program. Its name, “DEFENSE“, interested me, and because the manufacturer uses known antimicrobial ingredients in the product I wanted to try it.

It seems like soap with backbone. Some of the skin problems it claims to prevent or minimize are written right on the box, such as ringworm, impetigo, athlete’s food, jock itch, acne and staph infections.

While I have not had any of those issues recently, as I age my skin is changing and frequent itching has become more of a problem. Many of the soaps I have been using have seemed to leave my skin dry and itchy.

Using the product as directed I have noticed that my skin has become less dry feeling and I have been dealing with less itching. From that standpoint alone I will have to recommend this product. The bar of Defense soap lathers up well on a washcloth and although I’m not really into using loofah’s, the soap lathers up nicely on it as well.

I did get some soap in my eyes and it was not comfortable and it took a good eye washing to clear it out but it happened because I wasn’t being careful. Overall, it’s a nice product that leaves a nice feel, a mild refreshing scent and in the short time I have used it does seem to take the edge off itching, irritated skin.

So yes, I do recommend it.

Out of the box, it has a smell of citrus & pine oil cleaner. Luckily, that changes & there really isn’t any scent left behind after rinsing it off. In fact, very little is left behind after washing & rinsing with this soap.

This is a very strong soap, stripping off all oil & dirt from your body. I think it even removed a little of the dye from the face cloth that I used. I know when I wrung it out I saw some coloring go down the drain, & my hands were already clean.

There weren’t any oils on my hands nor anywhere on my body after washing with it. This is great when you’re trying to wash the ick that may be on your equipment, off. It could be the addition of tea tree & Eucalyptus oils, but I certainly was “squeaky clean” afterwards.

I can’t say anything about the how the indications will or will not work. You’ll have to check that out for yourself. I got this soap, thinking that after working in the yard this summer, a good strong soap may be good.

The information on the back of the box, can be found on the companies website, plus any of the other disclaimers that negate what’s printed in red. That is the ingredients themselves may or may not do something for you.

As a strong soap, that doesn’t leave any oils behind after washing, this is certainly the one to use. Which isn’t saying it’s any better or lessor than any other soap.

I work in a warehouse handling a lot of books and papers, so my hands get dry, cracked, and chapped daily. I use this at the end of the day to help heal up my hands and it works wonders! I even have my husband using it, as he works in a warehouse and is constantly putting his hands in hot and cold liquids, causing similar issues for his hands.

When we put this stuff on at the end of the day, our hands feel almost like new within an hour. It even helps to heal up cuts, scrapes, and burns. It soaks right into your skin within a few minutes, so there isn’t a greasy residue.

We love this stuff! We will definitely buy more of this in the future. A little goes a long way so this stuff will last a month or longer. Also, I’m sensitive to highly fragrant things, but the scent from the natural oils in this aren’t terribly strong or unpleasant, and they don’t linger.

I actually enjoy the smell for the brief time that it lasts. Highly recommend!.

In the last four years I have spent a small fortune trying to calm dermatitis that has formed on my ankles, shins and tops of my hands. Having allergic reactions to all prescribed creams from dermatologists and going through unbearable skin testing I just about gave up to finding a real solution.

After reading such positive reviews for Goop at Grove I though it was worth a try. Upon opening my jar the first thing I realized was the interesting scent, hard to describe yet very pleasant. The salve is solid and not sticky or runny.

It didn’t just disappear on my skin but it did create a light moisturizing barrier that instantly soothed my rough patches. Best of all the persistent itch lessened dramatically. I highly recommend Goop to anyone else in search of a product to help soothe and clear up any patches of dry & itchy skin.

It also works well on those of us who aren’t easy on our hands. Even though I wear work gloves during yard work or home repair, I still end up with small cuts or insect bites. Goop has come in handy to help calm and heal them too.

I and my kids really love this salve. It’s great for very dry skin, scabs, and even the ends of hair. I bought it for use after being at the rock climbing gym. We like it better than more main stream salves of the same sort.

A few things : 1) The fragrance is very strong. If you are a fan of lavender, you will love it. My spouse, who is very sensitive to fragrances does not use it. 2) It takes a minute to soak into your skin.

It’s not great for on the go. We use it at bedtime or in a moment when we don’t need to do anything right away.
