I will never ever buy any other after sun/aloe products besides this one!!! This product has saved my skin sooo many times. I apply it after sun exposure and it cools my skin while also moisturizing.

Many other products only have the cooing effect whereas this one moisturizes, making it so my skin DOES NOT PEEL!!! It smells amazing and leave my skin feeling great! I recommend this product to everyone! I have a medium/fair skin tone that tans somewhat easily, but also burns in extended periods of sun exposure.

My skin/sunburns have NEVER PEELED when I have used this product after sun exposure! If I could give this product more than 5 stars I would!!!.

I LOVE this product! Picked it up on a whim because I was planning to spend some time in the CA sunshine and figured I had a chance of a sunburn. Got a little red from being outdoors today and immediately applied this after a quick cold shower and it feels like there is no burn at all on my skin! It absorbed quickly and didn’t leave me greasy, and didn’t make my damaged skin get that tight feeling after dry-down like some aloe based products do (like cheap gels), which is a huge relief.

Smells amazing too, which is just a bonus to how great it makes my skin feel! Only downside is for my wallet because I’m absolutely going to have to stock up, but it’s luckily a great price! Highly recommend.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this stuff, it’s light but super moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling like cashmere. The scent is refreshing and not overpowering but noticeable and smells like summer.

It’s magic on sunburns, literally next day my burn was gone. Other reviews mentioned it is runny, so I wanted to add that this is a very thin moisturizer, it’s “runny” for a reason to be a lightweight easy to spread for sunburns and not trap the heat in with a heavy lotion.

You are going to get the new version of this product. Despite the website showing the old version (image, size, and ingredient list), I received the new version which is not what I thought I was ordering.

I have love love loved the old version for years. And sworn by it after every sun exposure. TBD if this new version will work the same magic on sunburns (would be gone within 36 hrs max and never any peeling), but I’m not holding my breath given all the changes.

The new version is a different consistency (less creamy), has a different smell (less herbal and a sickly sweetness), and different ingredients (aloe is no longer the first ingredient; Coola lists the new ingredients on their website though they’re no longer on the bottle).

Ulta is also charging more per bottle than Coola’s own website (which I was willing to pay for the old version and an extra ounce). Very disappointed with Ulta, and with the new product.

I have been buying this aftersun lotion for the past 4 years. I keep multiple bottles on hand and use it all summer long! To be honest, I have used this during the winter months to smooth my dry skin from the cold.

It does what it claims and soothes skin, reduces the redness overnight and smells great! Not greasy like the others I have used in the past. Makes my skin feel great! However, this past time I ordered it came in a new package and a smaller size.

(5 oz. Instead of 6 like before for the same price) But even with that small disappointment, this product still deserves 5 stars because it’s AMAZING!!.

This is the best after sun crème I’ve ever used. Hands down. It seems to work like magic. We live in south Florida and use sunscreen daily. There are times when we don’t reapply often enough or the sun is just too intense and my kids or I turn pink.

Blue tansy is one of my favorite essential oils and I find it’s very soothing on my sensitive skin. This after sun balm is like heaven in a little tin! Not only do I use this on my skin after a beach day but I’ve also used it on dry winter days and the occasional razor burn! It’s a miracle product.

It is a balm so expect it to have a slight texture/greasiness to it but it does absorb well, just don’t use it and immediately get dressed.

OK! Need to lay out some truth! I am a pale girl who loves to look tan! Very rarely do I burn as I do take necessary precaution but, there is that time where things happen and this is where this comes into play! This deserves 0 stars. If you have a bad sunburn DO NOT use this product. After applying it graciously to only certain parts of my burns where it was the worst my skin started to sting and then after felt dry and tight.

I looked at the ingredients and saw that ingredient number 2 is denatured alcohol which is used in cosmetics for drying out the skin… which is contraindicated in sunburns. I applied a different sunburn care cream on which has cetyl alcohol in it (which is fine on sunburns) and got instant relief and the tight dry feeling went away.

Use Maui babe or Sunbum cool down lotion instead. It’ll save you the pain.

I had an outdoor volleyball tournament and wore absolutely 0 sunscreen because I’m an idiot but I got a reallllyy bad sun burn and I got sun poisoning (those yellow blisters). I put this stuff on those yellow blisters thinking maybe this will just calm them down.

This stuff is the bees knees to use after being in the sun. It smells A-MA-ZING!!!! I leave mine in the refrigerator all year round. So, if its been a red hot day having FREEZING COLD gel put on its just bliss.

I also use this if I/family member scald or burn themselves as it take off the initial nasty sting. If using for a kitchen burn I slap a good amount onto the burn and then wrap in cling film until it stops hurting.

Didn’t discovered Hawaiian Tropic after sun until I went to a pool party in Vegas. Was in the scorching sun the entire day and ended up getting sunburn even with multiple re-apply of sunblock. My skin turned super dry and itchy, and that’s when I discovered the after sun lotion.

This summer the heat and sun are doing a number on my forearms. I’ve been wearing daily sunscreen and trying to stay out of the sun. Even while driving I’m hiding my arms from the sun. The sun was causing my arms to itch so bad, I scratched them to bleed while I was sleeping.

This is my GO TO! I purchased my first bottle of this last year as I was sun tanning frequently. Whenever I got a decent burn, I would apply this throughout the day, and I would peel barely at all, but mostly none at all, and the burn would be gone or almost gone completely within the first 24 hours.

I personally feel like my tan was extended, and my peeling was minimal to none. The price is great, and the bottle lasted over a year, of course I didn’t use it in the winter much. I did use this sometimes as an everyday lotion.

A few years ago I was down in Florida visiting my best friend. We went on a 5 mile kayaking trip, and she forgot the sunblock. Luckily I had applied some to my face and that was it. After 8 hours in the hot florida sun, we were red as lobsters.

I have been using this product all year round for many many years. I have recommended it to family and friends. In the past, I would put the traditional aloe vera on my skin after being in the sun. That does help the heated skin but it does nothing for the dry skin after being in the sun. This product has aloe vera added as well as vitamin E.

I tend to burn first and then tan. I noticed that my tan is lasting longer and the small area that burned did not peel. My skin has never felt more soft and moisturized after a day in the sun. Also, it is free of sulfates, dyes and parabens and is suitable for sensitive skin.

I brought this lotion to the beach because my boyfriend burns easily, even when being diligent about reapplying sunscreen! I used it as well even though I did not burn. We both liked the cooling sensation, and the scent was really nice! My boyfriend did not see a drastic difference in his sunburn, but it definitely didn’t make it any worse! I did feel like the lotion left a sticky residue (which dried eventually) and would tend to pill if you kept trying to rub it in.

Absolutely love this aloe gel. It saved my sisters, a few years ago and this year again. No matter how much sunblock my sisters put on they still burn. This year, family outing it was cloudy. I was neglectful of the sunblock and burned.

😅 Same day my Fiancé picked up Uncle Buds. Instant relief, the gel wasn’t sticky to where I needed to wash my hands after applying. The second photo was the following day. My clothes were dark so I can’t say if there were any stains left.

Cut my sunburn time in half, while providing immediate relief. My last sunburn lasted almost two weeks before completely healing. I am going on day 4 and I can see I will definitely be healed in the next upcoming days.

Maui Vera is AMAZING. I discovered this when we were in Maui and I missed putting sunscreen on one small spot on my arm. I had a 1st degree sunburn (blisters) which was pretty painful. My niece (who is very fair skinned) also got a small strip of mild sunburn.

A lady in a local shop recommended Maui Vera. After applying it twice to my arm, the heat and pain were gone. My niece’s sunburn was completely healed the following morning. While my sunburn didn’t heal as quickly as my niece’s, Maui Vera provided a great deal of relief and made me comfortable for the remainder of our trip.

Since being home, I’ve also used it to treat a burn on my hand in addition to the occasional sunburn. When I used it on my burned hand, I could put my hand in hot water without any discomfort.

I have LOVED this aftersun soother for years. I’m very pale and cook in the sun. Anytime I get a sunburn, or any burn really, this soother has been my go to. I had to get a new tube this summer. And I must say, it’s not what I was expecting.

I understand the formula has been changed and I do NOT like it. It still worked on my sunburn but it left me feeling greasy and smelled awful. I don’t remember if it had coconut oil in it before, but I couldn’t smell it if it did.

Now all I can smell is the coconut, and I utterly detest coconut. Please go back to the old formula.

Oh nooooo! I just saw a review that the Linden & Aloe After Sun Soother is discontinued!!!It worked miracles on sunburns & we’ve relied on it for years. I just compared ingredients to the new Aloe & Coconut version, hoping linden was still an ingredient.

The new ingredients are NOTHING like the original – it doesn’t even look like a natural based product anymore.

This used to be my absolute favorite summer body lotion. Super moisturizing and easily absorbed. But they’ve changed the formula in the past year or so, and now it’s thicker, and leaves my skin feeling greasy/sticky.
