20 Best Lotion For Skin Tightening (2023 Updated)

I just had to write a review on this stuff. I have tried many different skin firming, anti-aging body lotions and never saw any real results. I started using Jergens oil-infused skin firming 24 hour moisturizer 3-4 weeks ago and I’m noticing a significant difference.

the skin on my hands and neck and legs are getting their elasticity back. The crepey looking skin on my hands and in the crooks of my elbows is reducing quite a bit. I’m normally looking for the next product to move on to and try before this one runs out but I don’t think I will this time.

There is one more I’ve been wanting to try so I might but I’m still going to buy this one again too. I apply it morning and night to my arms, legs, neck, chest and hands. And I know it’s not made for your face because it is thicker but I’ve been using it some on my face and the lines on my forehead are clearing up and so is the rest of my face.

I’m not promoting doing that but it works for me. It hasn’t caused me to break out or anything. It has a light, subtle scent that’s slightly detectable but nice. I’m just surprised that something that doesn’t cost much really works for me.

I love it!!.

Jergens Skin Firming Body Moisturizer was one of the first firming and toning body lotions I tried. The label’s description says that it’s formulated with collagen and elastin that will visibly form and tone for youthful skin.

Now keep in mind you won’t see instant results, unless you have medical procedures or cosmetic surgery, collagen and elastin help support skin so that sagging or crepey skin is less apparent. After using up Jergens firming body lotion in my daily routine for a month or so, I can honestly say that I’m not sure if there was any noticeable difference of crepey skin being less apparent There are however, many other firming and toning body products that contain potent skin-repairing ingredients that I may consider.

I gave this 3 stars because it was definitely moisturizing than some others I tried and has a nice light fresh scent.

I was surprised by this body moisturizer. I’ve always seen this brand for sale but never bought it. I really liked the product. The scent is very mild and leaves the skin very pleasant. Provides good hydration without leaving the skin sticky.

I have dry skin and I always use moisturizer after my morning shower and I had to reapply the product after lunch, which is not a problem for me, as I don’t like moisturizers for dry skin as they leave that feeling of greasy skin all day long.

This product is meh. I’ve really tried to like it but I won’t be re-purchasing again. I’m a HUGE Clarins fan but this one isn’t the best and the smell is just not good. The effectiveness isn’t enough to offset the painfully strong and medicine-y smell that lingers all day.

At first it smells okay, but as it settles I feel like I mixed a little cherry NyQuil onto my skin. I don’t like it at all. There are much better options that work better and smell way better. Hopefully Clarins will fix this one.

I’d be willing to try again if they update it. I do not recommend it. It does moisturize but even that isn’t as great as other products. I did not notice much firming compared with competitor products.

If it worked super well, I would have tried to deal with the smell but it absolutely doesn’t. It was a bust and was not cheap. I’ll be tossing the rest of this bottle after this post.

This cream is worth every cent. I love clarins products and this one’s a winner. It comes packaged in the signature clearings red and white packaging, so classy. The cream is soft and silky and sinks straight in.

It’s comfortable to wear and non greasy. The moon xtra firming cream tones, tightens, firms and sculpts my skin. I simply rub it in for smoother firmer skin you can visibly see an improvement. It’s perfect for thighs and décolleté and legs.

It leaves my skin looking younger and firmer and feeling soft and smooth. I would highly recommend this firming cream.

It has amazing plant based ingredients that stimulate the surface of the skin to firm and tone. I am 60 years old and with the limitation of getting out and about during covid. I applied the Clairns Body Firming Cream.

My skin was definitely toned, with a little fake tan my legs looked great. My cellulite was under control and absolute confidence returning to the ocean in my baths. Not bad looking legs for a 60 year old, with a rewarding smile on my face.

I have been using StriVectin cream for just over a year. I bought it to address wrinkles and crepiness on my neck. I had tried other neck firming/tightening/lifting creams with no success. After about a month of using the cream morning and night, I thought I saw improvement.

After a second month, I definitely saw improvement. My neck continued to improve steadily until about the sixth month mark. Thereafter, there was no further improvement, but the gains made remained. I would say my neck is 70% better than it was.

In addition, a small dark spot that had started to develop on my neck has completely faded away. I am now applying the cream to two other dark spots on my décolleté and they are already starting to fade after about four months of use.

The cream itself is fairly thick, a little goes a long way. A 1. 7 oz tub lasts me about three months. There is a very light scent if you stick your nose into the tub as soon as you open it. But the scent dissipates quickly and I cannot smell anything after applying the cream to my neck.

This cream is pretty pricey but worth it in my opinion. I can see myself using it for the rest of my life or until I am so covered in wrinkles that I just don’t care any more. (LOL).

I really enjoy using this ultra-rich neck and décolletage treatment cream. Full disclosure, I am not yet experiencing major sagging or wrinkling skin in this area, but I do have some mild visible sun damage and was starting to wake up in the morning with that awful crepe-y texture on my chest (lifelong side sleeper, in spite of my best efforts).

I primarily invested in this product for preventative purposes. and because the 3. 4 OZ value size was HALF off during a Skinstore flash sale (sign up for their emails, your wallet may eventually hate you for it but your skin will rejoice!) So far, so good.

I do believe that some of my sun-related discoloration has faded and my neck and chest are always super plump and hydrated when I use this product, both immediately and the following morning. I’ve also lent this to my mother who is 68 and she is very pleased with it as well.

Disclaimer: I did start using this treatment around the same time as two very potent antioxidant serums (CE Ferulic and Pro Heal Advance) so it is likely the combination of all three that has helped with my sun damage.

Be advised, NO topical skincare product is going to actually remove visible damage in the same way that an in-office treatment such as IPL or Clear and Brilliant will, SO BE WARY OF SKINCARE LABEL PROMISES LIKE THIS.

but this is a wonderful neck and chest treatment for people of all ages and stages and it will certainly help maintain the results of any related in-office procedures. I believe in using dedicated neck and chest products partly because the skin there has its own specific vulnerabilities AND it extends the longevity of my precious and pricey facial serums.

I am 53 and have really hated my neck the last 3 or 4 years with the sagging wrinkles. It was driving me crazy, so I decided to try some product. This product was recommended to me at Sephora. I thought we’ll, I will try it.

I AM SOOOO GLAD I DID!!! I truly could tell a HUGE difference in 2 short days! My neck looks a lot firmer. I also use it on my chest. Those lines that are always very visible from the way I sleep on my side ARE ALSO NOW SMOOTH!!!! I honestly never would have thought this huge difference in my neck and chest could ever have happened in two days.

I can also honestly say, I’ve never used any product for anything where I saw very visible results in two days. I am just sorry I did not do a before and after picture. I will never stop using this product.

It works well with daily use. It’s suppose to firm and tighten and over time with regular use , it does work. I ordered a 2 pack about 2 months ago. The only thing that needs improvement is it will get clumpy so I recommend just stirring it around every so often.

It does take some time to fully absorb in the skin.

I would consider this is a rich, medium-weight cream with a glowy/dewy finish. I feel that individuals with dry or dehydrated skin will really like this moisturizer for day and night use. They might feel the need for something heavier at night in the winter.

Those with oily skin who don’t mind using creams would probably prefer to only using this at night, and stick to something lighter weight (such as a gel moisturizer) during the day. _x000D_ _x000D_ Since this is a silicone based cream, it glides over the skin like a dream and creates a beautiful, soft glowing base for makeup.

It’s oil-free (referring to carrier oils, not essential oils), so it’s not greasy or tacky. You can definitely feel the layer of moisture sitting on your skin until it soaks in though. _x000D_ _x000D_ There is no pore-clogging ingredients, which is a huge plus if you are prone to getting acne.

Also, it is synthetic fragrance and dye free! However, it does contain 3 essential oils (bitter orange peel, lavender, and limonene), so keep in mind if you are wanting something scent-free (this smells like a citronella candle), have sensitive skin or inflammatory conditions.

_x000D_ _x000D_ In regards to its claims of firming and tightening, just like the majority of skin care products out there, there’s no ingredients in this that would help to achieve that in the long-run.

What it will do though is instantly create a softer focus and smoother finish to the skin! I’m a fan.

Both this and the cellex c skin tightening cream work well and get rid of loose skin. I recently ran out and didn’t replace it immediately. Within six weeks the skin under my eyes started to get loose again and I have now bought another jar.

I know from experience the looseness will go again. I have firmer, tighter skin now, at 65, than I had in my forties. It costs a lot, but it does work at tightening the skin. I don’t find it works as a moisturiser, and it doesn’t smell nice, but I won’t be trying to manage without it again!.

Hi, it’s Glamorous Gem, hope you all are having a wonderful day,Anyway, we all have our fight with sagging skin, but my issue is mostly cellulite do to weight. This is supposed to help my skin look better and feel firmer with a blend of natural ingredients.

This has a list of ingredients such as apple cider, caffeine, grape seed, gotu kola, algae, rosemary, horsetail, Ivy Extract, Lemon, Horse Chestnut, Amica, Green Tea, Aloe Vera, Quinoa, and Witch Hazel.

That’s a mouthful, but a very unique combination of ingredients that can help alter the appearance of skin as a whole. Now, with more natural based alternatives, time is key. I can’t say out of the bat how it works.

Normally, it would take a month or so to see results skin wise. But, doesn’t mean I can’t say what I think about it. This bottle comes super large, almost twice the size of my hand. But, it comes in a squeeze bottle and the cap has those roller balls for helping with application.

I have used things like this before and I like how it feels on the skin. It’s very cooling and great for application. BUT, I don’t know why, but the product is so thick that it is hard to make it out of the roller balls, though.

It’s brown-gel like substance texture makes putting it on a hassle because I have to take off the cap and squeeze it on my hands instead. I’m not sure if it’s just defective, but it won’t work for me.

Though, the product has a decent consistency despite its thickness. It goes on easily and sinks in just as well. It doesn’t have a super potent scent either. I haven’t had any negative reactions to it as well.

Though, I can say it’s been some improvement. I don’t think my skin looks magically better, but I do see my skin becoming slightly more smoother along the way despite it being just a few weeks in. So, like I said,time will tell.

I am pushing 50 and of course dealing with normal skin concerns such as loss of elasticity and firmness, cellulite and stretch marks after a recent weight loss. I exfoliate regularly with dry brushing, and typically use oil to keep my skin hydrated.

Unfortunately I’ve come to realize that this isn’t enough and decided to try something new. WOW! The Cellu Shape cream is a total GAME-CHANGER! Not only is it MEGA size, but the gel inside is actually very pleasant to smell.

It goes on my skin nicely drying fast, but the game changing part is the massager that is attached to the tube. I squeeze the gel directly on my legs, or on my hands if I need to apply to stomach or butt, then use the massager to spread it around and help the ingredients do it’s thing.

I use it morning and night, and the first change I noticed is the crepey looking skin above my knees look firmer. Though it’s my new little secret, I will definitely will be sharing with my friends.

I’m 62 and have been using Strivectin for over 10 years now with great results. One area that has been bothering me is the loss of elasticity at and around my jawline. When I saw the addition of the this Contour Restore product to the Strivectin line, I was happy to give it a try based on my past good experiences with nearly all of Strivectin’s products.

I read the reviews and noted that many people said the results weren’t instantaneous but rather took several weeks. I can verify that it does take a few weeks to see results but also that the product lives up to its claims.

I did skip a total of 5 days unfortunately due to my priorities temporarily shifting. I feel like I can see some of my deeper wrinkles on my neck area slightly lightening. I bought this for the first time about two months ago. I use it twice per day and still have so much product left! You don’t need much at all. I like that it’s lightweight and I can put makeup over it easily without the pilling effect.

I use it in conjunction with the neck cream and I think that there’s been a difference in the contours of my neck and chin. I’m 53 years old and my skin is pretty good, but gravity is starting to take some effect on my chin, jawline, and I have some horizontal lines on my neck.

My skin loves this stuff and I haven’t gotten any break outs from it. It has a mild citrus smell that I don’t find offensive. It’s not equal to plastic surgery, but I’m seeing a difference!.

I didnt buy this for the intended purpose of wrinkles, or even my face in general. As most moms struggle with their after baby body, my stomach just has not been as tight as it used to be. I have only been using this for a week and my stomach already has a noticeable difference, and lord knows I’ve tried a billion solutions but this lotion is the first thing to actually work.

Love, love, live it! I have eczema and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. It’s also not sticky like most aloe vera products. It’s a little pricey for me, but we’ll worth it!

this is my husbands account, so first off i am a female, i’ve had some issues with wrinkles mostly caused by smoking, but recently i got a chemical burn which caused my face to look more wrinkled and saggy, for both issues i’ve been using retinol, vitamin c, hydroxy acids etc religiously! with little to no change! this is by far my favourite product with the most noticeable results! immediately you’re face looks dewy and healthy, wrinkles are less defined, and in the long term i’ve noticed less wrinkles, less acne scars, my face looks much healthier! and it doesn’t ball like many of my other lotions, it works well with make up, and also I found it as a miracle product for eczema! i’ve tried exzema lotions, steroid prescriptions, NOTHING worked! i have big dry patches/sores on my ankles and top of foot, it’s sore and itchy and dark brown and never heals, i started using hylauronic serum first, then rub this in after, and although it hasn’t completely healed it’s the best it’s been, all the redness is gone, the swelling; the dark brown spots faded, and it’s not as pronounced and dry and itchy and sore.

So some people may have bad reviews because this personally doesn’t work for them for some reason, i think it’s one of the best products out there especially for the price range. I also love the feeling of it, and the smell, and a bonus it has spf.

just don’t put it on your under eyes or crows feet, i find it (can) sting a little, but it really burns my eyes and makes my eyes watery, that’s my only issue, but not biggie to use a cream specifically for the eye area.

I’ve been a loyal user of the Healthy Skin with Retinol and Multi-Vitamins for years. It was always in a pump and looked identical to the packaging of this particular product. However, this is something very different and toxic to my skin.

After a few days wearing this, my face has broken out in to a rash and burns. My skin hasn’t looked this bad since I was a teenager fighting acne. Apparently, the old product. I used that was in a pump is now in a tube.

but at this point I’m scared to try anything since my skin is such a mess. So sad considering I’ve been such a loyal Neutrogena user for over 20 years. Please change up the packaging on this so others aren’t affected like I was.

Since the Neutrogena Healthy Skin anti-wrinkle cream w/SPF15 w/retinols was discontinued, I have been on a quest to find something similar. The anti-wrinkle cream had a great consistency and scent (smelled slightly of sun-screen).

I tried this Healthy Skin firming cream. But it was very different. It felt greasy and I did not like the scent at all. I thought I would just keep it and apply it on my legs but the scent is strong and I can smell it throughout the day.

I have always like Nivea products. I initially just used whatever products were on sale until about 5 months ago when I came across this firming cream. I have used the Nivea Q10 face creams and really liked them so thought I would give the body lotion a try.

I was not disappointed. This lotion keeps my skin hydrated all day. I use it after my shower and have not had any dry skin. This is important to note because if I get dry skin I get eczema. The lotion has a nice creamy texture that is not to thick or thin and absorbs quickly leaving no residue or greasy feeling.

It has a nice subtle smell that is not overpowering. I can’t say for sure if all my skin looks firmer per say but it feels hydrated, healthy and soft. For me this makes a quality product. I think that any firming that the lotion helps with is just a bonus.

If your looking for a quality lotion that will keep you hydrated all day this Nivea cream is a must try.

I got this on a whim because it was on clearance at my local grocery store because they change their stock so often and there were 4 bottles left so I grabbed them all. I kept 2 and gave 2 to my mom.

We agreed that we would both try them every day for 2 weeks and see what happens. Holy crap! I’m so self conscious about my arms. I hate them but I noticed a difference in my arms after about 2 weeks.

The skin isn’t so loose! After the first week I started using it all over my body and I definitely notice a difference! I’m almost 5 weeks in and I definitely won’t stop using it any time soon, it is fabulous.

My mom uses it on her neck and arms and obviously likes it because she hasn’t stopped using it and definitely would if she didn’t like it. The only thing I would say I don’t like if I had to pick something (even though it’s not a huge deal at all) is once you put it on, make sure you spread it around where you want it fairly quickly because it dries fast.

That’s not a bad thing, just different than what I’m used to from lotions/creams but that makes sense since this is marketed as a gel. It’s not as thick as what I pictured with the word “gel” but that’s actually a good thing.

Usually gels/butters/thick lotions take F O R E V E R to dry where as this gel is loose and dries quickly. I love this and I don’t see myself stopping use any time soon!.

This is magic – it tightens up everything! I’ve been using this for years. I started just on my legs, and could see a difference in my cellulite. As I got older and skin in other places started to need toning too, I took other reviewers’ suggestion and tried it on my neck and arms.

HOLY WOW they’re right — it’s even better at toning that slightly loose skin than it is on the cellulite I bought it for in the first place! And skin is so smooth and hydrated. It’s all I use on my body (my entire body).

I am 72 years old (today in fact) and I have used both the Cellex C tightening cream and the B serum product. I started using it about 20 years ago – and have used it religiously. Wow – people think I am in my 50’s and are always shocked at my age, and I believe the Cellecx C (and some help from genetics) are the key.

I started using it here in Colorado because a distributor of the product showed me a website where her grandfather used the cream on one side of his face for like 2 months – wow what a visual it was, I wish I could find it.

but I think the guy that created Cellex C then went to Skinceuticals and developed their formulas. but I am a believer in Cellex C and it is like magic. try it and stick with it, I love it!.

I have used Cellex C for more than 20 years. I’m now 78 and believe it has made a huge difference in my appearance. While it can’t keep away all signs of aging, it is very effective in delaying them.

It takes me approximately 4 months to use all of one jar. I ordered from LaLa Daisy because the price was the lowest advertised at the time I placed the order. I will always check with LaLa when I reorder in the future because I believe it’s a reliable source for unexpired products.

Some sources available on the internet are not. The expiration date on the jar I received is 6/22.

Actually works to reduce sun damage. I have been using it for years and my skin is smoother with fewer wrinkles. It’s expensive but because it works, not just smoke and mirrors, it’s worth the price.

I use the eye cream and this skin tightening cream which is easier on my sensitive skin than the serums. Since you use very little daily, they both last for a long time. You do still need a good moisturizer on top.

I’ve used Nivea products for 20 years. They’re very good but they need to add unscented versions. I really wanted the Q10 Firming lotions and yet, as much as I’ve tried to use it, I can’t. The fragrance is overwhelming.

Even just a small amount releases this perfume that after a while, makes me feel yucky. This fragrance in the Q10 lotion is too strong. It also means that if you have a favorite expensive fragrance, you can’t use it at the same time.

I’m surprised Nivea didn’t realize that. They added a strong fragrance that turns in the hot summer and it gets offensive, especially if you use the lotion all over your body. People notice and not in a good way.

I have been using the Nivea firming lotion for decades after every shower and then switched to this as soon as it came out. Both smell nice and so a great job moisturizing. I switched to this because my skin needs more emollients now that I am older.

In fact, in the winter I need something heavier than this, but I find that the La Roche Posay lotion I was using is too greasy for humid weather. I went back to this and it’s perfect for the season.

I don’t think there’s much evidence to back up the firming claims, but I will say after years of use, I am 46 and I get many compliments on my skin, even from my dermatologist.

I love this lotion. It is very rich and feel awesome in my skin. The only thing that I don’t like neither dislike is that it is a little scentless. I liked a lot the old Q10 similar to the Shea Butter but the smell has become lighter in my opinion in the last couple of years or I was buying another series that is discontinue or change.

I remember using it everyday not only because feel great in my skin, the smell was so amazing that it get stick in my clothes. This one is Vit. C, I guess you can not get scent from that. The Q10 and Vitamin C is a great lotion and have the advantage that it is very rich lotion VS the Shea Butter that smell better but I haven see a rich version (it comes for normal skin).

I have been using this for about 4 months and I think I am beginning to see improvement. I use this twice a day and I definitely notice an improvement in the texture, with my skin, with my skin feeling a lot smoother.

As far as crepe like skin appearance, I believe I am starting to see a slight improvement. I have tried other products that have done nothing, and I do actually think this is doing something. However, you definitely need to have patience to see results.

I purchased this originally from a skinceuticals authorized reseller and they have been out of stock for a while so placing this order company direct. Because my other reseller was out I haven’t been using the cream regularly and boy do i notice a difference from not using it! especially in the upper arms.

Let me tell you, this stuff is amazing! I use it on my butt and it keeps my butt plump and full looking. It also keeps it firm but not hard! Now, I will tell you this stuff is NOT cheap however not all good products are cheap and not all cheap products are good! And by the time you finish trying cheaper brands, you would have probably spent $80 on various products that don’t work! TRY IT and you won’t regret it! The bottle will last me about a month.

I’ve been using the treatment for the past 10 years and would go without food before giving it up. In conjunction with eating healthy and exercise, this product lives up to its name. Not sure what, “Vivifying” means, but this treatment is amazing for those who are in transition after childbirth, or have recently lost a significant amount of weight.

I use it on my neck and jawline for a taunt, tighten, firm appearance. I love the scent of fresh rosemary and medicinal healing essential oils. This is a must have.

I absolutely love this cream. The smell reminds me of a cream my great aunt would use in the 70s. I think it’s the eucalyptus that is so reminiscent to me! I use this at night with a pump or two of a different product at the start of cystic acne break out.

While it does not “cure” my cystic acne, it does make it less “angry and red”. The mixture of is very soothing and prevents [them] from becoming more inflamed.

This is the best cream I have ever used. I will buy it again definitely. I noticed a difference in my skin texture. Would like to try other products from the same brand. I really like it.

I have been using this product for over a year and the results are amazing to any who does abs trust me put this product on just prior to your ab workout he not only firms but heats up your core as you are doing the excerzise I use this on back as well for back days to get rid of that back fat love handles by your rib area.

Trust me you Wil not be disappointed with this product even if you don’t workout you notice the skin tighten effects but with the extra added sweat and intensity of a workout the results are phenomenal.

I would not say it helps you slim down but it does make your skin smoother with continued use. The first bottle I purchased was extremly strong and had a wonderful smell but this third bottle smells chemically so I purchased from another vendor.

If the products smells the same then I will not purchase anymore. I just have to give a warning. The first time I used this product, I used it right after a hot shower and I almost threw up and fainted so be careful when applying for the first time.

This stuff when it first came out was worth it and legit. You could actually feel the fat melting off and the cellulite firming. But this newer formula you just feel the coldness from the lotion when you put it on.

After awhile you don’t even feel it. Seems like a bust.

I have been an Estee Lauder user for decades and as I got older, I could never find a moisturizer that seemed to have any effect and didn’t smell like old lady. So, after making the sad discovery of jowls om my face, I was on the hunt for a new cream.

A preliminary google search suggested StriVectin and stumbling upon a sale, I decided to try it. And it works. You do have to keep using the cream daily to appreciate the effects but it does tighten my face.

I usually am lazy over the weekend and skip my face care routine and I do see the looseness come back but as soon as I start using the cream, it tightens again. And not for nothing, but this cream smells wonderful.

I don’t care how good a cream works if I can’t stand the smell of it – but this cream is great. Based on my experience on this item, I have forayed into other StriVectin products and I have really liked the eye cream (it actually gets rid of dark circles) and the retinol night cream.

I’m not sold on the various serums yet (as I really do like the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum) but if the right sale comes along, I’ll try them again. It’s hard to gauge how well they work when you only have a sample packet.

I cannot be without this face cream. It’s hydrating (but not greasy), lightweight and absorbs quickly. Works perfectly and without incidence under makeup. It’s lightly fragranced which doesn’t bother me but is worth noting if you’re sensitive to fragrance.

It absolutely lives up to it’s promise to tighten sculpt your skin. Before starting this cream my skin felt so soft loose. I think it was noticeably saggy. I’ve been using this consistently twice a day began to see improvement in as little as a week.

Now it’s been about two months of regular use and today I realized what a dramatic difference it’s made in my skin. My cheeks don’t look as saggy as they did before and I noticed that my forehead wrinkles are practically non-existent.

I literally said to myself out loud, “Wow! You’d think I’d gotten Botox!” Haha! I’m devoted to Strivectin (my entire skincare routine is Strivectin products) because it works. It 100% works for me. I’ve spent a lot of money on skincare that didn’t live up to it’s promises.

So much money lost. But with Strivectin I’m never disappointed and I truly feel that it’s money so well spent. I will repurchase this cream (and every other Strivectin product I use) for as long as they make it.

And I hope they never stop making this face cream. Holy grail status!.

StriVectin has a great reputation, but this is my first time using anything from the company. I am in love with this contour restore cream. The texture of the cream is slightly on the thicker side, but little goes a long way.

It goes well under makeup. I use this cream all over my face and jawline. I’ll do a mini gua sha massage while applying to lift my jawline. My skin feels tighter as a result of the treatment.

I love Nuxe products in the summertime and always use the 48 hour body lotion when the weather starts to warm up. So I decided to try the new Rêve de Thé body lotion as well, curious about the fragrance.

I don’t think the product description on this page accurately mentions that this product has a *cooling* sensation, what they refer to as an “ice cube” effect on the accompanying body cream. It also has a much stronger, soapier fragrance than other Nuxe products I have tried.

That said, I think it could be nice on a really hot, humid day to help cool down and to feel “clean. ” It’s kind of crazy but it makes your skin cool to the touch.

Why discontnue the almond and orange flower lotion? the smell was subtle even my husband liked it and the lotion was light but moisturising. I have used it for years. This green tea version is too perfumed and interferes with own perfume and the milk (not lotion) has a slightly greasy texture.

I shall have to look for another brand now which is annoying as I was so happy with the previous lotion PLEASE bring it back.

I was so looking forward to the tingling feeling but it was sadly missing. I don’t see any tightening of my skin. It’s a lovely moisturiser, with a great smell, but if you’re looking for any firming then try something else.
