20 Best Lotion For Lymphedema Legs (2023 Updated)

So far so good with this lotion. It absorbs nicely, which I love since I always get dressed right after lotion. I had previously been using an AHA lotion to help with keratosis on the backs of my arms, and to prevent bumps on my legs in between shaves.

Another reviewer mentioned this lotion helped with those issues for them so I decided to try it out. Can’t say for sure I’ve seen a difference, but I’ve only used it a few times. I do wish the bottle were larger or the price were lower.

I’m not certain if I’ll buy it again, but I will happily use the bottle I have.

CV Skin Labs body repair lotion is a good after-shower body lotion for my dry skin. It is light and spreads easily, giving me the moisture I need in the summer. I have not yet used this in the winter, but I think it may be too light (may need something heavier like Cerave).

I did not notice the “repair” properties advertised or healing qualities that others have mentioned; however, I do not have clinical skin conditions. It is not as “natural” as some of the other products I use (Josh Rosebrook, Om Botanicals, etc.

). So, it is not a “holy grail” for me, but I like it and have repurchased several bodies to keep on hand.

I ordered this on the recommendation of an employee in the website chat feature. I was looking for a body lotion that was fragrance-free because I have very sensitive skin. This was more hydrating than I ever expected because it is so light in texture.

My 4 year old has very sensitive skin. I have tried all sorts of lotions and none have worked. He breaks out in a rash every single time. I saw this and decided to try it because i’m just tired of covering my son in ointment and have him be a greasy kid leaving ointment trases on everything he touches.

Well as soon as I got this I showered him and lotioned him up and no rash! I checked him regularly to make sure no rash appeared and he never got one! I was one happy mama. The best part of this lotion is that it is fragrance free and has no chemical smell.

Some lotions say they are fragrance free but have a weird feel/smell. Not this one. I think I have finally found the perfect lotion for my boy.

I have severe allergic contact eczema, which makes finding shampoos, soaps, and moisturizers a total nightmare. I used to use olive oil because store-bought lotions made me scratch like crazy. I bought the Pipette baby lotion – even though I’m 35! – for the simple ingredient list and inclusion of ceramides, and crossed my cracked, inflamed fingers.

The first night I woke up, amazed I didn’t have any irritation or itchiness already. Now it’s been about a week and a half, and all my painful, bleeding cracks have gone away! In the decades I’ve been searching and trying product after product, I’ve never found a lotion this simple and effective.

I’ve always struggled to keep up with moisturising due to being autistic and highly sensitive to sensory. As soon as I saw spray on moisturiser was a thing while strolling on boots I knew I had to try it.

I love the design, the idea and it being Vaseline company is an added bonus. It claims to be non greasy and non sticky. That isn’t the case when your first applying it however and that’s an autistic nightmare.

You also have to rub it in based on what the instructions say, however I don’t do that. Pros: -No need to hand apply -Easy to quickly put on when changing and after bath/shower – Not greasy or sticky after it dries Cons: -Cold.

So very hard to motivate myself to spray it on areas such as stomach as it’s sensory hell. (Nothing they can do about that but thought I’ll add it for other autistics) -It goes everywhere including your floor and furniture.

Made my flooring very slippery and I sense a lawsuit. -It says you have to rub it in so you still have to use your hands. Might as well just buy your regular lotion as it’s getting on your hands either way.

(I will say that it’s possible to not rub it in as I do it). – It is greasy and sticky for a few minutes.

I’ve been using this for months. I put it on my skin after every shower and I love it. I find the process of putting regular body lotion on tedious and this definitely feels faster and more effective.

It is also great for hard to reach places like the back. The cocoa butter scent is great and it is very moisturizing while also drying quickly. My skin still feels moisturized 24 hours later. Using this consistently helped me get rid of a dry skin patch on my chest that caused hyperpigmentation.

I just noticed today that the skin feels smooth and plump and the discoloration is gone. That’s what prompted me to write this review!.

I was looking for an oil free body lotion to use while I had fake tanner on. It was nearly impossible to find something until I came across this Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Spray Moisturizer at my local King Soopers.

After reading the ingredients and spraying a small amount on my arm I was excited to purchase and give it a try at home. I was very happy to see that the price was under $5 for a large amount. This lotion is a spray so it is super easy to apply on your entire body quickly and conveniently.

It has a very light aloe smell which I love. It is a lighter moisturizer and my experience so far has been that it does not remove my fake tanner and I stead prolong the application, by staying moisturized without leaving me with a blotchy uneven tan.

I love this body lotion so much. It absorbs really quick which is a must for me as I am a lazy moisturiser, if I know a lotion will take a long time to apply I usually skip it, but with this lotion I’m using it nearly every time I shower as its so quick to apply and absorb.

I’ve also really felt the difference in my skin, it feels softer and smoother for days afterwards. Also smells lovely and refreshing, like limes. Very impressed all round.

This product has all the soothing qualities of Skin Food original. In this hot weather I found this light enough to use but deliciously moisturising. It absorbs quickly and smells delightful. I feel reassured that this is an natural, organic body lotion.

Avena Arnica is a great product, the smell is a but strong but its not too overwhelming. When having leg pains or tired legs i’ll use it and it helps make them feel better. I would recommend massaging into your legs.

Its an affordable product with no reason to not buy it.

I had been looking for an efficient body lotion before I found this Lubriderm. Unlike other brands, which feel like they never dry and then you’re left with sticky legs, this one soaks in and keeps my skin soft all day.

It moisturizes for 24 hours, so that is beneficial. It has done more than I was expecting. It’s the therapeutic lotion I use every day. It doesn’t matter, day or night, winter or summer, fall or spring.

I use this skin moisturizer each and every day to maintain suppleness and protection. Because it’s fragrance-free, I use a little musk oil to add a gentle aroma. The only complaint about these pump dispensers is that a lot of lotion is left at the bottom.

I would end up cutting the bottom of the bottle and scrapping it into a travel bottle. Overall, I am happy with the results. Highly recommend !!!.

Started using this for my daughter with sensitive skin. She suffers from eczema was having really bad breakouts all over her back, bottom legs. I tried a bunch of stuff, aveeno included nothing helped.

Some irritated her skin more. I asked around someone suggested I try this, I’ve been using it ever since. This is the only lotion she uses. It does great locking in moisture. It’s not oily doesn’t leave a sticky feeling behind either.

It’s thick but not super thick. This helped relieve her eczema now that she’s been using consistently she no longer has breakouts. Even the scaring from old breakouts have gone away. It doesn’t smell the best, smells medical but I don’t mind.

It gets the job done for sure! If anyone is suffering from bad eczema breakouts I definitely recommend this!.

Lubriderm is a 5 star lotion. I have never been a lotion fan because of the greasy feel left on your skin after you use it. Lubriderm does not leave a greasy feel but does moisturize your skin. Years ago Lubriderm lotion was recommended by a dermatologist to my parent following healing of several burns.

I have tried other lotions but Lubriderm is the very best. We always keep two bottles on hand. It cost more than other lotions but it’s worth it.

I’m so pleased to be able to purchase Gehwohl products at Nordstrom. Gehwohl Lipidro Cream is actually my favorite, the cream helps to keep my feet warm.

Used this product in the past and it worked well. This year’s lotion is much thinner and gets absorbed in the skin much faster and consequently dries out much faster. Not the same quality product anymore.

i think this Hydrolipid Lotion is great. Light, energizing, a tube lasts for long time , I use it mostly for my feet and lower legs. I have had a problem of scaly skin in front between ankles and knees.

I believe this lotion really helps with this issue. Now it is Triple Point time so I am going to buy two more tubes.

The product is good for atopic skin, I have been buying it for quite some time for my daughter’s use.

You wouldn’t think that a product that is not expensive would work so great. I tried this out about a year ago, and ever since then I haven’t changed it. It has a pleasant refreshing feeling after using it.

I bruise easily due to some health issues I have and I’ve noticed a difference with my bruises after using this lotion.

) My 1st impression was how easily it rubs in: for how thick it is, I was impressed with how lightweight it felt. It has never smeared, caked-on or felt greasy. It’s also unscented, but I will say that you will smell something when applying it, but within minutes it disappears completely.

I really like this lotion. The scent isn’t overwhelming which can sometimes happen when you put Shea butter into products. The consistency in my opinion is just like a typical lotion not runny but not thick either.

It absorbs into the skin nicely and doesn’t make me feel sticky or greasy at all. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because I have pretty dry skin and I don’t feel this keeps me hydrated for long and there are other lotions I gravitate toward more often.

I was very happy when I found this producers ago and have been using it ever since. Not only did it have a soft, soothing and gentle scent, it was fast absorbing and left my skin soft to the touch. Best of all, it did not leave any residue.

Therefore, I was very disappointed when I opened a new bottle to find the formula was changed, without any indication on the packaging. Now, the scent is overpowering and it lingers so much, I feel like I took a bath in pure perfume.

Worst of all is the greasy residue, which stays around for a long time. I am deeply disappointed at the change in the formula of my favorite body lotion, one which I’ve been using for years. I will have to look for a different product, one which resembles what this product used to be.

Naturally, I don’t expect a non-surgical approach to truly turn back the clock when it comes to skin firmness or texture. This product, however, can definitely assist. After ten days of consistent, daily use on my legs and hands, I did notice a difference.

Sadly though, I had to reapply on my legs at least twice a day to maintain the result. (This could be due to the current winter weather that is being experienced in my location. ) As for my hands, I reapplied after each washing, when I was at home.

It was absorbed quickly. Skin definitely was smoother and softer immediately and seemed to last. The scent is very light. Texture is creamy and thick but not greasy. The bottle size is large enough to last a good deal of time.

This OSEA body butter that I received from Influenster could not have come at a better time! I genetically have dry skin add in winter, the dry heat in my home medication I take it adds up to extremely dry skin that can get itchy.

Plus with aging some of us post menopausal have more dryness to our skin. This body butter is rich in earth ocean essences to deliver powerful skin solutions. It really addresses the signs of aging when it comes to the skin of the body.

Leaving it soft smooth healthy looking. Some of the key ingredients are Nutrient rich undaria seaweed, antioxidants, whipped Shea butter, ceramides, cannabis sativa seed oil,grape seed oil, rosemary extract, sunflower extract,citrus oil peel oil.

There is not a strong scent just a natural scent I can smell notes of citrus extracts but it doesn’t last. Although I wouldn’t mind at all. After a shower toweling off starting at feet and apply OSEA body butter from toes all the way up to shoulders.

Paying real close attention to rough areas like elbows/knees,etc. The body butter just melts right into my skin adding moisture but most of all hydration. My skin feels looks so good. This product is Clean, Vegan, Cruelty-free Gluten.

The OSEA company has been a family owned operated since 1996 based in California. I really like this Body Butter my skin definitely likes alot.

1. Thick, sturdy packaging. The matte texture helps with the grip. It feel luxurious. 2. The butter itself is creamy and like the name, buttery soft. It’s thick and instantly moisturizes my skin, however I find it a bit difficult to spread and work in the product because it’s so thick.

No white cast was left after which is always a plus. The scent itself is amazing! It’s very citrusy and tropical and sort of acts like a solid perfume. 3. The ingredients looks pretty clean, however there are a few that may be concerning.

Glyceryl Stearate SE can be possibly irritating and has a comedogenicity of 3 which means it can clog your pores. The second is Citrus Paradisi or the Grapefruit Peel Oil which is the perfuming agent that can be mildy phototoxic, meaning it can render your skin susceptible to damage like burns or blister when exposed to sunlight.

Myristl Mysristate has a comedogencity of 5, so acne prone people, stay far away. 5. A 6. 7 oz of this butter is $48. 00. It is quite expensive, but the results don’t lie.
