20 Best Lotion For Glowing Skin (2023 Updated)

Love the smell and that its very light weight, almost like a serum. I have oily skin most of the time (sometimes combo) but last year for a short time I suddenly had dry flaky & itchy skin patches and found out I suffered from skin dermatitis.

Being sensitive to a lot of ingredients, I started researching skin care products & their list of ingredients to find something more natural and safer for my skin. This hit the mark, so I ordered from Sephora to try it out.

This is fantastic that it doesn’t make me oilier or feeling greasy on my oily days ( a little drop, 1 to 2 pumps goes a long way). I honestly use it as a serum most of the time for my nighttime routine, as it’s so lightweight, I can add a moisturizer over it without getting greasy.

I really feel like it gives me a nice brighter & naturally light from within kinda glow to my skin, without feeling like my skin is too dewy/shiny (being that I usually have oily or combo skin, I don’t want added shine, so this is just perfect!) and it helps soften my skin too.

I can’t say it reduces redness though (at first I felt like it did, but not so much anymore, but for the smell, the moisturizing/softness, brightness and glow, I do love this!) As for that dermatitis issue of severe dryness I was having when I started with this product, within a week it went away with this serum! Granted I also switched the facial cleanser I was using, but the combo I think really helped and this is now one of my favorite products to use in my skin care routine.

I was very hesitant on buying this as I get so anxious trying new products. I have pretty sensitive skin and I have been normally using the Belif creams for moisturizer but was getting a bit bored of my skin care ritual & wanted to shake things up.

I really do love Glow Recipes packaging- it’s always good quality and sturdy, lotions come with pumps that don’t quit on you so that’s a bonus! The scent is beautiful, it’s a very light watermelon whiff- perfect to wake yourself up on a summer morning.

The lotion is very light and a little goes a long way. It doesn’t leave an oily feeling and it’s not a thick lotion so it doesn’t feel heavy. However, after you first apply it, it does seem to stay a bit “tacky” on the skin, almost sticky.

That does go away as it absorbs into the skin & I personally only use it at nighttime, but if you were using it in the morning you’d want to wait about 10 minutes before applying primer or makeup on top of this.

As far as keeping my face hydrated it has done a wonderful job throughout the summer. I have zero dry patches and my skin looks even. I also love that it doesn’t get slimy or gross feeling as you sweat throughout a hot day.

My one fear is that it might be a bit too light for a winter moisturizer, at least for myself personally, and I have combination skin, more so on the dryer side. I definitely recommend trying this product!.

I’ve been a Clinique moisturizer user (the yellow lotion one) since college, and I’d been looking to switch to one that had more natural ingredients for the past few years. Most of the ones I’d tried up to now (natural or not) would give me weird irritation, or rashes in some cases that would take weeks to heal, which was a horrible way to find out I have sensitive skin; I was starting to think that my skin had just somehow become used to the Clinique and that I was locked into it.

I’m so happy I found glow recipe when I did because I was about to give up before I did any more damage to my skin trying new things, but this watermelon moisturizer has done wonders for my skin. It feels like how it used to in high school again (not an exaggeration, and the moisturizer I used back then is, unfortunately, forever lost to memory), which I never thought I’d be able to say; my skin is hydrated, clear, soft, my complexion is evening out and brightening despite years of careless sun damage, and I no longer get these annoying dry patches on my face since I’ve started using this, which I’d been getting every day, especially in the winter, the past few years at about late afternoon when my old moisturizer would just wear off, I guess.

I just finished my small bottle, and placed an order on the large size. I highly recommend at least trying it to see if it works for you.

Okay so I’ve never been one of those women who take a shower feels wonderfully clean and then slather lotion all over my body. I almost feel as if I’m not clean anymore. However, I have tried glow recipe products for quite some time now and I’ve never had one let me down or not work.

So when they came out with this I of course had to try it. Given the fact that I was a little weary because like I said I don’t usually use body creams, I wasn’t expecting to love it as much as I do.

I have a tendency to also sweat when I put lotion on doesn’t really matter what brand or what kind of lotion even in the winter time I know it’s weird but that is what happens. I can tell you though with this lotion that doesn’t happen.

I’ve only ever found one lotion that I could possibly use without the sweaty thing going on. Even though I don’t use it this is the second lotion and I do use it. I apply it every night after taking my shower.

And of course if I shower in the morning as well I apply it then. It’s definitely going to be repurchased because not only is the smell marvelous, my skin is super soft. And yay it doesn’t make me sweat! I don’t feel unclean after putting it on directly out of the shower.

It’s just an all-around good moisturizer. My skin has really taking on a new life. And I don’t use anything else for it so it has to be this product! I’m not surprised however, because I’ve not tried anything from glow recipe that I don’t love.

The Watermelon Glow Pink Dream Body Cream is no exception! So happy I took a chance and tried this.

This is hands down the best body cream I have ever used. I’ve been on the hunt for body creams that contains actives so it’s great to see products popping up here and there that treat body with as much care as face, so I absolutely love this product.

Love the smell, texture, and my skin feels amazing afterwards. I am sad to say i can’t keep purchasing this though. Since its launch, i have had to have 9 bottles replaced by Mecca. I’ve had five bottles that straight up the pump does not work.

I’ve had two where the pump tube has come off inside the bottle even before using it. And i have two I have returned where the pump just stops working halfway through. Then, if I am lucky enough to get down to the last quarter, i can’t get the product out because the cream is so thick, the pump won’t work at all.

The bottle is far too thick to cut into, and the cream cannot be poured out. I just don’t get why Glow Recipe is sticking with this packaging. I feel like it is an insult to customers and to the environment.

So sad, but I just can’t continue throwing $$ down the drain on this product anymore. Glow Recipe, if you ever listen to customers, please please, change the packaging.

Ugh writing this review disappoints me so much because I really wanted to love this body cream. I have no issues with the texture of the cream itself or how well it moisturizes, it ticks all of those boxes for me.

But I just cannot deal with the scent of this product. It smells like artificial watermelon — maybe like watermelon bubble gum or a watermelon jolly rancher. Either way, I can’t tolerate the scent.

It makes me nauseous and it sucks so bad because I like everything else about this product. Unfortunately, I will likely not continue to use this. The one big benefit though is that I got this as a sample in one of my Ipsy bags.

So I’m much happier than I was able to try a sample size of it and realize I don’t like the scent oppose to purchasing the full size bottle and then realizing I don’t like the scent. So overall, if you are someone that likes a watermelon scent or you like the other watermelon scented products Glow Recipe sells, I do think you’d like this.

If you don’t like watermelon scents, stay far away from this!.

I absolutely loved the packaging. I wish the other moisturizers were packaged the same. It makes it much easier to dispense. I have been using this a little over 3 weeks now. I do see a difference in my skin’s appearance, but that could be the combination of the other products with this one.

I really tried to love this product, but I just don’t. I was using it in the morning and at night. I eventually started using it only at night and following it with a different moisturizer. It doesn’t hydrate my skin at all.

It is almost like I really didn’t put any on. It also caused a burning sensation to my cheek area every time I used it. It left a small burn mark. I figured it was because I was trying a new product (I do not have sensitive skin).

The Vitaleyez causes the same burning sensation, so I am assuming it is the Hyaluronic Acid ingredient in both. I strongly dislike the smell and would have preferred if it was fragrance-free. Even after a few hours, I can still smell it on my face.

I bought it one late night after doing the skin quiz and didn’t see that it was scented.

I have seen amazing results with this product! Dark spots lightened SIGNIFICANTLY. Been using this product 2x daily for just over 8 weeks. I applied in the AM PM very liberally, every single day. Smells just like a super ripe orange – so fresh and clean! Features super skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E.

Goes on smoothly and absorbs almost immediately. Keeps my skin feeling moisturized and refreshed for hours. Must try!.

I love this moisturizer! I use it as my night moisturizer. It’s not heavy or greasy and it feels so good on my skin. I feel it just glides on. My skin has gotten clearer and brighter. I’m 57 years old and when people find out my age, they can’t believe it.

Oh K! Is a great inexpensive K beauty brand , including their Chok Chok glowing moisturizer. It’s a thicker moisturizer but it dries down matte with no left over oiliness. It’s definitely super hydrating with the help of Shea Butter Citrine Extract.

I love the fact that this product contains precious stones like citrine which is known for its illuminating/brightening effects. It has a subtle pearlescent finish that is perfect before makeup application.

I received this product complimentary for testing purposes from PrismPop, and i really wanted to like it but there are some things about this product that I totally struggle with! I am very excited to try new skincare items especially anything that is K-beauty because that is something i am interested in! I found the scent overwhelming after pretty much exclusively using the famously scent free brand Drunk Elephant for over a year now! I think the whole DE ideology of clean ingredients weighed heavily on my thoughts about this product as i feel my skin has really benefited so much from using no fragrance and no weird ingredients.

I researched a few if the ingredients in this moisturizer and i was pretty shocked to find out how bad they were. Butylene Glycol I believe is the really bad one and was the worst skincare ingredient of 2018, and the fragrance so strong I couldn’t use this as a night cream on my face.

I did try it during the day and it does actually feel nice on the skin. I just preferred not to use it on my face. The price is pretty great at $15 for a K-Beauty moisturizer, if you don’t mind the scent or the somewhat questionable ingredients.

For myself, having an autoimmune disease of the thyroid i just prefer not to use products such as this. It is a little gimicky with the Citrine for Energy Ruby for Empowerment and Quartz for Balance! The pastel pink packaging is very cute, and this product is not tested on animals! I think it is interesting but I don’t think I would purchase it!.

This moisturizer is refreshing and rejuvenating. It’s not too thick with application, it feels sheer and light which is quite nice. I refrigerate my skin products at 46 degrees F. Along with this moisturizer, I wash my face once a day with the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Face wash, and use the Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturizer With SPF 30 every morning.

My skin is usually glowing, then, it started getting cold outside, and began refrigerating my skincare products at 50 degrees F. When I continued to use this moisturizer in particular, my skin began to burn and get mildly irritated.

So, I warmed some castor oil ever so lightly and put half a tea spoon into my moisturizer to make it more gentle on my skin. My moisturizer started to liquefy and turned into a milk-like texture. This was my second container of this, and I had done this with the first one last winter without any issue.

I am assuming the chemical compound was changed??? I am honestly unsure, but it is definitely weird that this is happening.

This is so inexpensive and has a number of good ingredients for a moisturizer I had to get it and try it out. The jar is huge and I don’t like an open lid like this for a face moisturizer or a body lotion.

Should be more sealed off so it stays fresh and keeps germs out etc. It has a light scent that reminds me of old school lotions from when I was a kid. But it’s a very mild scent. It is smooth when applying however it doesn’t feel very moisturizing.

It does absorb very quickly and leaves no stickiness behind. I have yet to apply under makeup though I feel this would be a nighttime moisturizer for me as I prefer an even lighter one for under makeup since I also wear a liquid sunscreen daily.

If it doesn’t work for my face I think it will be an excellent hand moisturizer. I am very curious to see if it helps with wrinkles.

This is literally the best face moisturizer i have used so far. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft. I was looking for a nice moisturizer to use after my retinol/ vitamin C serum application and i found the right one.

I put it in the fridge during summer and its so amazing. It can double as a body moisturizer because the tub is very big and lasts for months as long as you store it properly in room temperature. It also has great use in winter time because i have very dry and sensitive skin and this helps moisturize my skin effectively and it leaves behind a smooth finish thats to die for!!.

I bought it initially because i loved the collagen and elastin composition and it did not disappoint. I will surely repurchase this moisturizer. If you found this review helpful in any way please leave a like.

Okay stop whatever you are doing and read this; Especially if you’re a guy in your mid-20s, or perhaps just have combination skin (oily t zone summers/dry and sensitive around cheeks winters) and need some more info.

Also this is my first review ever. I’ve been on a hunt for THE moisturizer for a bit over a year now. And by hunt I mean thorough research, advice from estheticians/derms, learning all of the skincare ingredients, and so on… I’ve tried most mainstream brands/products such as men oriented personalized skincare sets (like lumin), men oriented lines such as Kiehls facial fuel and Paula’s choice for men, and a lot of popular products (in this case we’ll discuss moisturizers) like La Roche Posay toleraine, Kiehls ultra facial cream, olehenrikesen pore remedy, Boy de Chanel moisturizer, even tried my moms Crème de la Mer, but that’s too much for a 25 year old.

These are only a few products from my massive stockpile. Yesterday I was at Sephora and was getting my second bottle of this Dermalogica Biolumin C moisturizer, and let me tell you something, it was the FIRST time in my life I’ve bought the same moisturizer for the second time.

Sounds odd, I know but I swear to you, this is the one! I’ve had a few use-the-entire-jar-before-replacing creams like Kiehls Ultra and YTTP air Whip, but due to my obsession with always trying to find a better product I could never stick to one.

Until now. I was always a bit afraid of using vitamin c products (serums mostly) due to my skin once again being reactive at times, but this product did not make me breakout or even cause redness on my cheeks which usually always happens after any moisturizer.

It absorbs very quickly in my case and I currently use Dermalogica physical defense sunscreen over it during day time (I live in the northeast so it’s getting pretty cold and windy) and it’s just a perfect amount of moisture! My skin finally looks radiant, healthy and happy lol! Don’t sleep on this moisturizer you guys!!!.

I love vitamin C serums and creams. I have about three that are my favorites and I’m always trying to find something new. Unfortunately, this serum/ gel moisturizer is loaded with a lot of photosensitizing ingredients, fragrance, and unnecessary ingredients that detract from the product.

Strong fragrance has no place in face products. My husband could smell me approaching after I put this on. It smells great, but it’s not worth the migraine. This product immediately bring me and gave me a headache from the strong scent.

I don’t react this way to the other vitamin C products that I have, so I don’t understand why I react so strongly to this. It’s not like vitamin C is a new product to my face. Vitamin C is a product that should be more during the day, but some of these ingredients are known to cause reactions when combined with the sun.

Why on earth would they be in this product? Here are some of the culprits: Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Extract, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Raspberry Ketone, Jasminum Sambac (Jasmine) Flower Extract, Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Oil, My skin burned immediately upon contact with the serum.

I tried to wait it out to see if I can get better, but then I developed hives. I still have them even after several hours and a Benadryl. I didn’t even go in the sun, so I can’t imagine how horrible the reaction would be if I had done that.

So I have been using Dermalogica products for about 2 years now. I can’t live without the stress eye relief and specially the SPF. Few months ago I got a chance to try the BioLumin C gel mosturizer. Let me starts by saying that your skin needs Vitamin C just as your body.

So please use it. and since L Ascorbic Acid oxidizes, it’s hard to find it in its purest form where it stays fresh and do its job. I started using this mosturizer for my skins Vit C intake and I couldn’t be happier.

It’s extremely light weight and I love the subtle citric fresh smell. I absolutely love this product. I have started seen results about 4 weeks into using it and I can tell my I have never noticed my face to be more brighter without make up I legit get compliments on my bare face and I know that this is the only thing that have been added to my skincare routine in the last few months.

I did recieved this product in exchange of an honest review complimentary from Dermalogica but I was already using it months before getting into review (I also posted a video on my gram a few days ago using this product.

Feel free to check it out its (glowbysana) Go get yourself some BioLumin C gel mosturizer but also don’t forget to get a mineral SPF and It really could be from dermalogica or any company but don’t use anything with Vit C without an SPF afterwards.

I’m not a big fan of expensive moisturizers with fragrance anymore, I prefer to stick to simple, derm grade skincare like LRP from the drugstore. I was able to get a sample of this with my purchase and I am so glad I did.

I fully understand the hype now. My skin is super dry and I have a hard time finding a moisturizer that hydrates, replenishes and moisturizes my skin without breaking me out. This one just feels so nice starting from the texture, how it feels when it’s applied, when it’s dried down, everything.

It smells amazing but the fragrance in it or the product itself hasn’t broke me out which is amazing. I’m not sure how to describe the consistency either but it feels very cloud like, soft, and lightweight but deeply hydrating.

I’m def considering buying the full-size now, the only reason why I took 1 star off is because of the price point but it’s Glow Recipe and all their products are around this price range. If you’re willing to splurge on a good moisturizer this one is an amazing option.

Also a huge bonus, it looks and feels amazing under makeup which is a plus point for me because I usually buy one for wearing underwear makeup and one for when i don’t wear makeup. So the fact that this feels beautiful under makeup is awesome.

Some people say it pills if you use too much but I use a good amount and I haven’t that had that issue.

I LOVE this moisturizer! Just like the plum plump serum, it’s super hydrating, absorbs right away, and immediately makes my skin feel softer/more plump. Granted, the plumping effect is something you should get from any hydrating product since all it means is to increase moisture (giving it that taut, plump look) but obviously not all products are created equal.

I’m a big Glow Recipe fan, but until now, I’d never found either of their moisturizers to be anything special/right for my normal/dry skin – the watermelon one was WAY too light (I ended up using it as a serum) and the banana one’s texture was oddly thin.

This is also fairly light (I’d definitely group this with other water gel creams) but somehow it’s very effective in providing both immediate and lasting hydration without leaving behind any residue (the watermelon one often felt sticky afterwards).

It’s not quite enough for my semi-dry skin right now (during the winter) but I can see it working well during any other season. It says it’s best for combination skin, which I would agree with, though I’d say it’s suitable for “normal” (not dry or oily) skin in the summer.

Also I LOVE that it’s packaged in a refillable jar since it’ll actually make a difference in cutting down the amount of waste that goes into product packaging!!!.

I use and enjoy several shea moisture brand products, I decided to try the cleansing balm. I have had this product for about 3 weeks, I wanted to really test it out before posting my review. There’s nothing worse than trying to get your skin to look its best and being disappointed time and time again.

My skin description would be aging, dry, and prone to cystic acne breakouts. I am new to cleansing balms and I must say that I am very happy with the results of this product. After using lathering skin care cleansers for many years, It did require some adjusting to get used to the consistency which is very thick.

Only a little product is needed I scooped it out with my fingers and applied it to my dry skin It immediately melted into my skin dissolving all traces of makeup, sunscreen and whatever else I had on my skin that particular day.

It did not leave my skin squeaky clean but super hydrated without being heavy or occlusive. It felt like my skin was super healthy and hydrated. I have noticed that my breakouts have pretty much stopped and whatever blemishes I had on my face are now in various stages of healing.

I think many people are under the assumption that by drying out our skin we will prevent break outs, but just the opposite is true in my case. I will continue to use this product and update as necessary.

I love the fact that my skin is nourished and not peeling and flaking. I have noticed a tremendous improvement in the texture of my skin as well. Hopefully it works for you the way it does for me, I am curious to try other cleansing balms but right now I’m going to stick with this because it works.

I never knew a product line this existed. It CHANGED my life, confidence, my skin! I’m light skinned so my acne scars really show and change my overall appearance. At 30 years old I’m really over dealing with acne scars.

This balm is the bomb. com. I use it in the beginning of my facial routine (I follow the 12step Korean face routine morning and nigh) which requires you to massage your face with a purifying oil first.

After the first three days I saw a major difference. And in 2 weeks my dark spots were 90% gone. I wish I took before and after pics! I don’t need foundation anymore. My skin is also more radient and the surface is smooth and polished.

I recently moved and I’m so sad this product doesn’t im exist here… gonna have to restock when I go back to the states! I’m grateful for this product.

Honest review from a real person. Was on a business trip and ran out of my face lotion. Was looking for something travel size, moisturizing (without all the chemicals and fragrance) and not too expensive.

I settled for this because it always promotes even skin tone. The product DID NOT moisturize my face at all. To the point where my sling felt dry and you couldn’t even see dry patches. Mind you, I don’t have dry skin.

But it’s a little chilly out so I could use the extra moisture. But my goodness.

I recently reviewed the face wash so I had to review this! I wasn’t sure I would like it because of the formula, but because it’s a gel it is perfect for my oily, sensitive, and acne prone skin. It’s a very lightweight moisturizer, and once it’s on the skin it absorbs well.

I recommend washing your face with the watermelon cleanser then applying this with it. After I’m done washing my face and drying it, I will wait about thirty minutes before applying this moisturizer.

I find that I have better results by allowing the face wash to do it’s magic before doing the next step. I noticed that with this method, I breakout less, the product absorbs better because my skin is completely dry, it doesn’t feel heavy/greasy, and it gives my skin the time to do what it needs to do.

I’m not sure if that even makes sense, but it works for me! The scent isn’t overwhelming or freak out my skin, which is good considering I have sensitive skin. I just wish it came with more product, however, a little amount goes a long way.

I use my index finger, get the smallest amount of moisturizer on the tip of my finger, dab it on each area of my face, then massage it all into my skin. This is one of the best moisturizers ever!.

I recently bought this oil free moisturizer from St Ives. This has a great watermelon scent. The package says “made with 100% natural watermelon juice”, but it also has “fragrance” listed on ingredients list.

The scent is fairly strong, so if you have sensitivity to fragrance or not fond of watermelon aroma, then I would suggest steering clear of this product. The price is very reasonable (currently retails for $5.

99 at Target) and is 1. 8 oz. The texture of the product is a lightweight creamy gel. There is no greasy feel and it absorbs immediately into my skin. It has a very light pink color and feels cool to the skin.

I have maturing, combination skin and this seems to be enough hydration for me. I do always use a serum under my am and pm moisturizers, plus I live in the south which doesn’t get terribly cold in the winter months like other regions in the US.

I assume these factors assist in the product being enough for my needs. I have sensitive skin and have not had any issues with product irritation. I gave this 4 stars based on some of the ingredients not being as “safe and clean” as I prefer.

Although, the price is great and I personally like the feel and scent of this moisturizer.

This would be 5 stars but they changed from a jar to a tube. I don’t like tubes, they’re harder to get all the product out of which is why I’m assuming the change was made. I was a little concerned because the smell is quite strong and some people will definitely not like it, but it goes on velvety smooth, only take about 3 minutes to soak in and isn’t sticky.

If you have oily skin, this may not be the moisturizer for you as I can see you running into issues with it never fully absorbing. A little goes a long way. I generally use twice a day and it has lasted really well and I haven’t had any bad reactions even though my skin is really sensitive.

Will I be re-purchasing this product? No. Does it improve skin over time? My skin is hydrated, well moisturized during the day. I have noticed that my skin is smoother, and less dull, makeup applies great.

However ,I can’t attest to its ability to reduce wrinkles/lines. My skin is acne prone, and even though this moisturizer has citrus oil in the ingredients, no irritation was noticed. I think my skin is overexfoliated, and I do not think this moisturizer works for my skincare needs.

Too much exfoliation is never good, you need your outer skin layer intact)). Idk why I’ve been using too many exfoliating products at the same time, acids are everywhere lately, so pay attention if your toner/face wash/primer has AHAs,Acids, etc.

and use them sparingly.

I love Kate Somerville products plus this Glow Moisturizer lives up to its name. It’s the perfect moisturizer for going into the fall/winter season because although it feels lightweight it’s heavily packed with hydration and chemical exfoliation.

Depending on your skins needs, this could most definitely be used everyday, all year long. It revives dull, dry or tired skin and I notice a difference as soon as I use it. It is literally like my skin just drank a tall glass of water.

Immediately dewy, soft and healthier. I like that it absorbs easily into my skin, it plays well with my other skincare and it has not made me break out. It removes dead skin cells and is packed with powerful ingredients such as: lactic acid, sqalane hyluranic acid.

I have seen the difference in my skin overtime and I am pleased, it’s the closet I’ve come to having glass. Sometimes I will use it in combination with other Kate products but on its own its a quality product that has shown results.

I would recommend to anyone who is looking to add some radiance to their skin.

I always wanted to try this moisturizer because I read great things about it. I’m glad I got it in my subscription box to try because I would be pretty mad if I’d paid retail price for it. I figured for the cost, it’d be silky and hydrating like my favorite cloud cream moisturizer but this one is greasy.

And I have SUPER dry skin so if yours is even a little oily, avoid this at all costs. The smell is overpowering and I feel like I rubbed a lime candy all over my face. That cheap manufactured sugary fruit lime scent.

It’s not attractive. And if I touch my (still greasy 30 minutes after applying this moisturizer) face, that smell is on my fingers. Overall, nothing positive to write about considering the packaging doesn’t even make it attractive enough to just sit unused on my makeup counter.

This product has quickly become a holy grail for me. I purchased my first, and went with the Limited Edition Gratitude Size (2. 5 fl oz) and within a week, knew I needed to buy a second! The packaging is very attractive periwinkle blue accented by pretty purple flowers with a gold product scoop and scoop holder on the cap.

When you take off the cap, there is a protective reusable plastic insert with a convenient tab for ease of removal. The cream itself is also a lovely shade of light blue. The scent is very herbal and pleasant.

I have extremely dry skin, especially in the harsh mean winters. I have been searching high and low for a good face cream that doesn’t irritate my skin but truly provides deep nourishment and moisture.

 The Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream checks all of those boxes and is also a certified clean and cruelty-free product.  I am able to use this product in the morning by applying a light layer before putting on makeup, and it helps keep my skin and makeup from forming dry patches throughout the day.

 At night, I apply a slightly thicker layer before bed, but a tiny bit goes a LONG way! The little scoop they provide allows you to pick up the perfect amount to cover face, neck, décolletage, and the back of the hands as well! The ONLY reason I have marked this four stars instead of five is because of the price: though I feel the Gratitude size is worth it, I feel that Tatcha products are over-priced in general.

Another point I would like to include is that this product is not for everyone because I know that the scents and some of the ingredients can be too harsh for some people, especially those with extremely sensitive skin.

I was so excited this year to get the Tatcha gift set from Sephora for my birthday. I had been dying to try their products for quite a while, but because of their price hadn’t taken the leap yet. When I first opened the I was really surprised to see that it was purple! It has a really nice faint fresh, clean, floral scent that isn’t strong or overwhelming at all.

The first time I used this product I used WAY too much. Let me tell you, a little bit of this cream goes a LONG way. My face ended up really greasy. Now I know though, that the tiniest bit of this product works wonders.

It’s really thick, but absorbs very easily into the skin. After using this product properly, my face looked very hydrated, plump, and luminous. My skin tone looked way more even as well. It’s a rich cream that feeds skin with plumping hydration and antioxidant-packed Japanese purple rice for a dewy, healthy glow.

Made for skincare concerns such as: dryness, dullness, uneven texture, loss of firmness and elasticity. Japanese purple rice is packed with nutrients and known for its ability to survive any harsh environment, it has long been used to celebrate longevity and vitality.

Rich in anthocyanin, a strong antioxidant, it helps skin recover from and protect against stress, pollution and UV damage for healthier-looking skin. This cream comes in really nice packaging. The sample came in a really cute purple plastic jar with the product brand on the front and the logo on top in white, with the product name on the front and some product info on the back in black.

I definitely am going to be buying more of this cream when this jar runs out and I absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking for an awesome face cream!.

My skin feels so good and soft since using the Dewy Skin Cream Plumping & Hydrating Moisturizer. I have tried different moisturizers over the past couple years with never results like this as I would have irritation as the different lines would be either too rich, have properties that would cause breakouts or even worse dry my skin out even more.

My skin has changed in the past five years from oily combination screen to dry rosacea break outs and some fine lines. I tried the cleanser from this line with the combination of this moisturizer but found the cleanser stripped moisturizer from my skin so for me it was not a good combination.

My skin was just ok but didn’t feel great and felt dry. I really loved this moisturizer though and knew there must be a cleanser that is milder but yet soothing for my acne rosacea skin that would be complimentary with this moisturizer.

I lucked out as after experimenting using CeraVe SA cleanser and the Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream moisturizer found it was a winning combination. Must be the ceramides & salicylic acid in the cleanser that keeps the skin blemish free.

The Tatcha moisturizer works beautifully after I cleanse my skin as it gives the bonus moisturizing plumping properties. My husband complimented my skin and and that made me feel so good that it is noticeable.

I’m happy as my skin feels healthy and youthful again.

This product is one of my favorites! I was hesitant because of such mixed reviews but I love the face wash from this line so much, I decided do give it a try. I have mostly dry, combination skin. This is my daily, go to product.

It is a heavier lotion but not at all greasy. I use it prior to my primer and notice a big difference when I don’t use it. My skin is noticeably softer and I definitely see an improvement in my fine lines and wrinkles (I am 50 yrs old 🙂 As far as the smell noted by other reviewers, I do note a smell but nothing noteworthy.

I would describe it as more “neutral”. Nothing offensive, or pleasant, but personally, I don’t like anything overly scented for anything I put on my face. Defiantly not citrusy like other products in this line and the smell does not linger.

I am so pleased with the results I see from using this, I would over look it regardless. If you have more “mature” skin, I think this product is worth a try. Seems like a more high end skin care product for a more reasonable price.

First off, this eye cream is unscented which I appreciate what with sensitive eyes. Secondly, it did not irritate my undereyes at all, however, I am an experienced vit c user so take that with a pinch of salt.

It does an average job of brightening my undereyes, but nothing spectacular. That’s where it ends unfortunately. This cream isn’t hydrating for me at all. I have normal/dry skin so I would avoid if you have the same.

Also, this contains quite a lot of glitter. Not sure what that’s meant to do. This cream has a peachy tone to it which helps with brightening skin. if you have little melanin. I’m south asian with olive medium skin, and this left my undereyes as ashy as my knees.

All in all, this is a good eye cream for people wanting to try out a vitamin c eye cream I would say, just not for me it seems.

I’ll admit—I almost returned this and threw in the towel on it purely for the fact it was smelly. Like so bad. I thought it was the first pump and was like, aright maybe the next one. Nope. I went a few days not using it but I liked the texture and how it made my skin feel.

Then I was too lazy to even bother taking it back (being honest here) and I’m glad I didn’t honestly. It works great! I feel like I see a different in the flow of my skin. It’s getting nutrients. I use it under my makeup as well right now.

A few times I added a drop of my vitamin d oil to mask the smell which it worked but now I let doesn’t stink when pumped. Not sure if I’m used to it or it just went away? But if you can get passed that at first, it’s worth it.

It’s a thicker texture which is nice for this cooler weather that’s around at the time of this review. It soaks up quickly and does not leave my face sticky. It makes it nice and smooth. (PS you can see in the photo how much I’ve actually used for reference).

This is my favorite lotion. I’ve seen a lot of complaints about the new smell, but honestly, I like it, it smells like chocolate and isn’t overpowering once it’s been on you for a few minutes. It feels good and hydrating to my skin, and helps with the ashiness on my elbows.

I have super sensitive skin, and this does me very well. I have the big bottle with the pump, and it’s way better than the mini ones. It’s perfect for spring and summer, so soothing, especially after a warm shower.

It’s also super cozy for winter months. If you wanna smell like (non-overpowering) chocolate, get rid of some ashiness, and feel moisturized, and/or have sensitive skin, I highly recommend.

(’22) IC: Daily Task – Vaseline is that brand! Along with Jergens, at one point were the only few brands you could see and trust on store shelves. Now on the scene is Cocoa Butter scent, which is not over bearing to me, but intense in moisturizing to nurture our skin.

Handy pump or squeeze bottle. This has been used by our family for years. Vaseline knows their business and their consumer. This brand has been in business for quite some time and has many used for everything under the sun.

Vaseline has elevated their brand in creating different products and are great for giving us nice smooth and healthy skin protection. It’s a brand you can trust. I would recommend it to any and everyone.

I’ve used vaseline cocoa radiant for years! Recently the formula changed which is so disappointing! For a wile I was able to find the old bottles/formula but latent I haven’t had any luck with that. The new formula/scent is horrible and it stinks.

Please go back to the old formula/scent. I’ve been reading reviews on line and it appears majority of ppl don’t like the new formula/scent. Like my self many ppl are looking for a new lotion to use. As a company/brand are you paying attention to customer reviews? Please consider bring the previous formula/scent back!!!.

I’m about to order my 3rd jar right now. I love the consistency of this product. It’s almost like a hybrid of cream and gel. The smell is absolutely DIVINE. I know it’s better to use products without any fragrance, but I will literally open the jar just to smell it when I’m in the bathroom.

I have pretty dry sensitive skin and it has never caused a breakout. I will say that sometimes I need something a little thicker during the winter months or when my skin is extra dry, but I still really dig this moisturizer.

An Ulta employee recommended this over the Lotus moisturiser and I’m SO glad I went for it. Not only does it smell AMAZING (like sweet lime!) but it is great for my combo skin. It’s hydrating without feeling heavy and absorbs quickly so I usually spread it on my fingers and pat it onto my face quickly.

I haven’t used it for long so I can’t attest to how well it works for brightening, but my skin feels so soft and the joy of putting it on is worth it on its own. The scent doesn’t linger so don’t worry if you’re not a fragrance person.

It’s a light lime scent so nothing overpowering and doesn’t last for long. Don’t let the simple jar fool you, this stuff is gold. I’ve been using it as a night cream and my face feels so soft and glowy in the morning.

This is my first FRESH purchase and I will totally be looking in to their other products!.

This is my 3rd day using this product and I use it day and night. When I wake up in the morning and look in the mirror I have to take a second and look how amaze my face looks! I am 65 years young and my face looks amazing! It has a glow that I haven’t had in years and my face feels so rejuvenated and soft.

I tell ya I’ve tried several moisturizer through my years and none has compared to this one. I have sensitive skin and I’m so pleased in how it has changed my appearance. I look more in the mirror now.

I’ve been using self tanner for years. In the past, the other Brand’s 1 hour tanner I had used required a lot of technique to look natural without streaks or dark patches. I had to work quickly and used regular lotion to dilute the areas that tan darker like the heel or knee area.

I had to rub in vigorously, allow at least 15 minutes of drying time and wash the hands as quickly as possible. The process was stressful and I usually worked up a sweat doing it. The worst of it was the horrible smell my skin had as it processed the self tanner.

I did this for years and got pretty good at it but finally gave up as I couldn’t handle the smell and the pressure to do everything perfectly for fear of embarrassing splotchy skin. I kept seeing this Jergens and the reviews.

My legs aren’t my best feature now that I’m close to 50Years old so I decided To help the legs out with a tan. I chose Jergens because of the slow, buildable tan. I pleased to report the buildable formula is great.

I was able to apply it without the pressure for perfection because the results were lighter. As long as I didn’t make the same “mistakes” repeatedly my skin developed a natural looking tan. It’s important to exfoliate every shower to prevent dark spots on old skin but that also means the tan comes off and you have to apply after every shower to keep up your color.

The lotion itself has a nice feel and it rubs in smoothly and easily. The smell was similar to the tropical suntan lotions. As for the “firmer” skin claims. hogwash! Not true. Use this as a self tanner and don’t fall for magical claims of firmer skin.

Started using this stuff in fair to medium a week ago today. I live up north in Vermont and during the winter become completely translucent and was tired of looking at pale legs. I ended up getting one of each product at target because there was a sale bogo 25 percent off.

But I have only used this firming lotion the wet skin lotion and the face lotion with sp7 the results certainly pull more orange/yellow on me but I have to say the after picture is alot better than the before.

I am happy with the results for the cost of the products. I will say to avoid the face and neck at all costs unless you don’t wear makeup. Even the face moisturizer looked completely orange uneven and unnatural on me.

So I exfoliated and got rid of the color around my face and neck I’ll just use bronzer to make it look “natural” I would recommend this stuff especially if on a budget. Gets the job done and I like that one or two harsh exfoliating sessions will remove the color in case of a bad turnout.

I’m a big girl so I can’t say that the application process was easy I used the mitt. but I’m sure there are plenty of streaky areas luckily no one will be able to see 🙈. I’d give this stuff 9/10 they need to make a green based formula to even out those yellow/orange tones a bit.

But orange is better than white.

This lotion is honest with its advertising and claims. It is definitely a gradual, light tanning moisturizer. I personally am a big fan of the scent. It’s a caramel like, sweet scent that reminds me of a shea butter.

Over about a week, you’ll achieve a very natural and gradual tan. My personal biggest bonus of this, is it actually is FIRMING. The appearance of cellulite and stretch marks really do gradually dissapear.

I believe a combination of the tanning and firming creates a lesser appearance of stretch marks and cellulite. It doesn’t completely go away though, if you stop using this they do come back. This is affordable, and very appealing.

I would highly recommend if your looking for a product like this. No streaks, even color. Few different shade options available depending on how dark you’d like.

I have very dry skin. I use this product morning/night for about 2 years, and it has helped control the dryness. Many reviews say they expereince breakouts due to this moisturizer, which I did as well, but I started exfoliating my face twice a week and that seems to help minimize breakouts.

If you can afford more expensive and concentrated moisturizers, go for it, but if, like me, you are looking for the best product within your budget, I’d start with this product especially if you have dry skin.

I use a pearl-sized amount each use and it lasts about 4-5 months for me. NOTE: I also use this with JUICE Beauty’s mineral sunscreen in the daytime which is also known for its moisturizing benefits, so I the layering of products has helped more than anything.

My local started carrying Bliss products and some of them were on sale including this moisturizer so I decided to get it. I love using it as a day time moisturizer because it has a nice rich texture and a natural radiance that really makes the skin glow.

It also has amazing ingredients including one of my favs Vitamin C , Shea butter which is another favorite to hydrate and nourish my skin along with all different types of botanicals to protect my skin against damage and also repair it.

As soon as I apply it I have a natural iridescent healthy glow that doesn’t looks shiny or shimmery. Leaves my skin super smooth as well. Definitely going to purchase this again!.

This is the best moisturizer I’ve been able to find. As someone with super dry skin, it’s hard for me to find a moisturizer that stops my skin from feeling dehydrated and tight and doesn’t burn when I apply it.

This though, has been a godsend. It is very thick though and I understand why some may complain it feel heavy. I really don’t mind it though, just definitely think this is a product for very dry skin.

I would avoid if you have more oily skin. Also, applies great under makeup.

I am so disappointed that you changed the original radiance body lotion formula. It was perfect for me for at least a dozen years. My skin loves it and I am on my last tube. So many other customers agree and are waiting for you to go back to the original formula so we can stock up.

I always purchased 3 tubes at a time from a local store in Maine. When will it be available to order? My facial skin can not tolerate your other products, but the body lotion was perfect for my day time lotion and reduced redness too! I used to buy this lotion every three weeks for the past 12 years. I loved the smell, what it did for my skin, and I loved the sweet shimmer. My husband also loved this lotion on me. This new formulation smells awful, does not maintain moisture and the shimmer is completely gone.

And it’s pretty annoying to see all of these reviews we very loyal customers are sharing and all you do is tell us to call. I don’t know about the others but I did call and shared how all four of my past purchases were not the original.

Please bring it back! I don’t know about anyone else but I would be happy to pay extra for the original if it is a pricing issue. Please stop telling us to call as if it is making a difference. Surely the calls and reviews do matter.

I’ve been a loyal Curt’s bees customer for 15 years, but this seems insincere from the company I love.

I love Burt’s Bees products. I used to suffer every winter when the cold weather would cause my fingers tips to crack at the sides of my nails. You could find me on any given day with bandaids covering my most of finger tips that I’d smoother in antibacterial ointment in attempt to get them to heal.

Not only was this unattractive but cracked, bleeding fingers were also quite painful. I desperately tried all kinds of lotions and creams searching for something that might help. All of these products promised to sooth, soften, moisturize and heal.

I have tried a couple of IT Cosmetics products in the past and have continued to use one of them for over a year now with good results and without any issue. When I saw this new and improved Confidence in a Cream Anti-Aging Hydrating Moisturizer, I thought it would be nice to give it a chance as I haven’t had any problems with their skincare products yet and have been on the search for an anti-aging cream.

My very sensitive skin is usually irritated by products with fragrance in them, but sometimes I can get by with something that is barely scented, which is why, combined with no previous issues with their products, I gave this a chance.

However, the second I opened up the jar, I questioned if this truly was for sensitive skin and would work for me. I found it interesting that this was potently fragranced but marketed as good for sensitive skin.

I started with a patch test on my neck, and my skin almost immediately started to burn (not dissimilar to a moderate sunburn). It didn’t get red, rashy, or itchy though, so I gave it a chance for a day on my face thinking it could just be due to some of the active ingredients and would fade over prolonged usage.

Unfortunately, my face burned, too, and also became itchy within hours, neither of which went away until about twelve hours after washed it off my face at the end of the day. Because I only applied it twice (once at night and again in the morning), I didn’t develop any eczema, but given previous reactions, if I had used this for another day or two, I would have expected to get a nasty rash on and around my eyes.

Despite all of the above, if you do not have sensitive skin, you may want to test this out. It absorbed quickly and nicely into my skin without leaving it greasy. My dry areas might have wanted a little bit more moisture, but my sometimes oily-by-the-end-of-the-day areas liked the amount of moisture it provided (at least before my fragrance-induced oil-producing reaction started).

I can’t really speak to any of the long term benefits because of personal experience, but based on the claims and ingredients alone, this would be a great anti-aging cream for anyone of any age as long as you do not have sensitive or, possibly, dry skin (though you might get it to work by applying multiple layers).

It is extremely effective at keeping my skin hydrated the entire day. It applies smoothly and is quite thick but melts into the skin. I prefer my skin care to be unscented but the slight citrus scent is faint and doesn’t last.

I have had no adverse effects on my sensitive skin from use. After the first two days of applying Musely, I noticed my cheeks were extremely dry. After applying It Confidence in a Cream Moisturizer the dryness was gone in the morning.

This cream definitely does it’s job at providing moisture. I do not think this will be suitable for me in the warmer months as my skin is more oily and I will not be using Musely. For those looking for an extremely hydrating moisturizer that isn’t greasy and feels lightweight, this is the moisturizer for you.

The price point is higher than drug store brands but the hydrating benefits are definitely worth the price. Also, you need only a pea size amount of product to cover your face so this product will last.

How many poor reviews will it take for Burt’s Bees to bring their classics back? I have used your products for decades and LOVED Skin Nourishment Night Cream as well as your other moisturizers with Royal Jelly in it.

And you’ve discontinued all of them!! I understand the need to introduce new products but please don’t discontinue those that we love and that work for us! I’ve tried your new ones and none of them work for me, especially this Truly Glowing cream.

It leaves my face so sticky and pills after a night of sleep. I’ve actually resorted to tracking down and purchasing your Skin Nourishment Night Moisturizer (which I wear for daytime too) on Ebay and other second hand beauty sites just so I don’t have to find a new one.

But quantities are getting much harder to find. Please bring your oldies back. we love them! And if you don’t, I’m sad to say you’re losing a loyal and 20+ year user of your products.

So strange. I’m on the fence about this one, unfortunately it seems to have more cons then pros for me. To start with, I have oily sensitive skin but some years it’ll linger on the more combo side. With that being said, I’m currently on my oily skin season.

This moisturizer was extremely moisturizing, almost too moisturizing for my oily skin. I think someone with combo or combo dry skin would benefit from this. At the initial application I thought my skin soaked this up nicely, but throughout the day it would look like the moisturizer just sat on top of my skin? With an oily film? And what’s even odd is this moisturizer made it appear as if I had a lot of texture on my face, which I don’t have.

But that could of been because it sat on top and didn’t penetrate properly. I don’t know, I guess this doesn’t work for me.

I have been using this under one eye for the past couple weeks; I’ve been using the eye cream I normally use on the other eye to compare how this product works. With skin care, I’d prefer to use this a little bit longer before forming an opinion, but so far it has performed just as well as my regular eye cream (with a higher price tag) does.

The reason I gave this four stars is that it is just slightly sticky under the eye which I don’t love, and the packaging isn’t my favorite. However, it’s barely noticeable, so it doesn’t bother me too much.

I didn’t notice a smell to this product which I love. Since the skin under our eyes is so delicate and sensitive, I prefer fragrance-free eye creams. The main benefit I see from using an eye cream is that my under eye is more hydrated.

Because of that, I notice my under eye looks smoother after I’ve put on a concealer. The packaging is okay. When using the pump, I get more product than I need, so I feel like I waste a lot of product.

While I can try not to press the pump all the way down to only get the littlest bit of product, I feel like this product would benefit from different packaging or a pump that didn’t dispense as much product.

Overall, I think this eye cream is great. You get a ton of product which will last you a long time since you only need to use a little bit. Also, I think the price is good. It might seem a little expensive, but comparing it to the eye cream I normally use, I get slightly more product for half the price.

I would highly suggest this if you’re in the market for an eye cream and have struggled finding one you’ve liked in the past.
