You’l receive a small black cardboard box with silver inscription. Inside is the Unit, USB cable and modest user manual. First moment is quite surprising – so small and nice device:) Ok, but you want to play it, so prepare the usual power supply 9V, center minus pole With Ammoon Looper pedal you have to learn, that it dont wait for your string-hit, the track is recorded immediately after pushing the footswitch.
Undo has 1 overdub step back, so it isn’t for real composing suitable, but for realtime show and jamming suits. USB connectivity with Mac was really bad, after connecting the cable unit starts to flashing with all colours and nothing more happend.
After disconnecting was Looper totally speechless, and I must labor with switching and unswitching power for a while until it came alive normally. Connecting with PC no tested. The Looper dispose “only” the basic functions – record / play / “endless” overdub / 1 overdub undo / stop / delete, has no internal memory for storage recorded sounds (this should be secured by USB connection to PC) – but you can enjoy good quality of sound, perform or just jam at home.

This is a sweet little looper that does everything it claims. I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. I’ve been using it for making rhythm backing tracks to practice leads and to jam with. It is small but with good strong metal construction.
It’s a tough little pedal! For the price you can;t go wrong. The only caveat is that it dosn’t come with an AC adapter and it doesn’t use batteries so you’ll need to buy an adapter for it or you are likely to have one laying around that will work.
Beware of two things though. The first is that the polarity of the looper and the adapter have to match. Use a 9V power adapter whose polarity is positive pole outside and negative pole inside. You can usually find this information on the adapter.
Second, I had a problem with one adapter I used in that it caused an annoying hum when using the looper. Switching adapters solved the problem so don’t blame the looper if you have humming or noise issues — it could be the adapter.
I’ve been having a lot of fun with this looper. It’s affordable, well made, sturdy and works very well indeed!!! Great for practice or for beginner looper explorers!.

There’s a slight learning curve, and all the info isn’t in the manual. You have to go to the website, for some things. Other than that, it works great, and the drums sound real, albeit, very loud.

If you have bad timing, using this pedal is going to take some practice – because for your initial phrase, you have to end it on the beat perfectly. As this was not a problem for me, it was absolutely brutal to watch my friend struggle with even the simplest chords progression loops, because apparently using his feet while playing guitar is near impossible.
Great for improvising. Make a loop with some chords, and have at it with some scales and solos. Stereo output is so sweet. I have an amp on each side of my room. The drum tracks are fun and great to use, but there are only ten, so don’t think you’re going to get all fancy with it, they are just for keeping a beat.
As I mentioned as a con, the volume levels on the pedal can be brutally unforgiving. If you have a good volume set for the drum track and for the rhythm pattern, matching the volume of your guitar on your amplifier, then you are just fine.
But if you go to turn the volume up on your amp, MAKE SURE you turn the volumes on the pedal down. I’m pretty sure I damaged my Fender Frontman 212R with the loud drum beat by accidentally blowing the house up when I hit go on the pedal after turning myself up.
Also, it tends to compress the volumes of overdubs to the original phrase you recorded, but it is possible to adjust accordingly. Also, this pedal has given me some back pain haha. When using it you are constantly bending down and bending over to press one of the many buttons that are needed to use the looper.
I recommend setting it on top of something, or sitting on the floor. P. s. This thing eats batteries like nothing else. I’ve had it for two weeks (Christmas) and am already on my third 9v.
I’ve been using the RC-2 for a few years and when I saw that the RC-3 had a big memory upgrade, I purchased it immediately. The RC-2 had 11 memory slots and 15 minutes of recording. The RC-3 has a massive 99 memory slots with over 3 hours of recording.
The USB 2. 0 port allows users to back up their loops as audio files on their computer. I use loopers on solo jazz gigs mainly. I have a master list full of a bunch of standards that I record bass lines and light comping so it’s like playing over a mini rhythm section yet still has the quiet ambience of solo guitar.
You can’t ask for a better practice tool. It’s also useful to loop yourself and then stand far away from the stage to hear how you’ll sound in the house. My only complaint is that the pedal is set on “normal” recording mode by default every time you turn it on.
I, like most people I would imagine, use the “auto” record mode exclusively. You have to set this by holding the tap tempo button and selecting it every time you turn it on. The RC-2 had the recording mode selected with a knob, so you can just turn it to “auto” and never touch it again.
The footswitch is something that a lot of people don’t like. Timing the end of your loop accurately is extremely important so that your loop maintains a constant tempo. The buffered “Boss-style” footswitch can be frustrating as it doesn’t have a click point.
I’ve messed up the timing only a few times so it isn’t a big issue in my mind. I just press down quickly and very firmly. In any case, there’s a Jack for an aux footswitch that has a clear point of activation to solve this.
Players of all styles and skills will find the RC-3 extremely useful, but I would especially urge jazz players to pick this pedal up because it’s so great for practicing improv over any type of progression you can record, especially entire standards.
If you write your own music the Boss Loop Station is a must. Easy to use so you’ll never lose those licks or chord progressions you want to keep for future songs. It’s great to practice with too. You can easily layer all sorts of music on one channel.
With 99 channels you won’t run out of space. One drawback is the drum volume is too loud so you have to be vary careful playing it through an amp as you could blow the speaker. I have a DRRI and I plug my rig into the second input on the vibrato channel as it has a lower db setting and even then the drum kit at it’s lowest volume is fairly loud.
I have read complaints on line about this. The drum kits aren’t the most intricate but again for practice it has helped me with timing. I’m just a hobbyist so this pedal works great. The PSU is a must as this thing would gobble up 9 volt batteries like it’s Thanksgiving dinner.

I like that I can use both functions together. The drum function works well with the looper. Before with separate drum pedal and then a looper pedal, it was complicated. The Joyo R-06 makes it easier while disturbing the neighborhood.

The Vidami Blue is one of the best purchases I’ve made to help me learn new songs and licks, and help with guitar lessons. I’ve been using it with Truefire to learn the solos for the song “Amie” and plan to use it with their licks videos.
I’m also using it with YouTube via the Safari browser, along with sheet music, to learn the songs “Breezin’” and “I Ain’t Got Nothing But the Blues. ” It is extremely convenient, faster and much more accurate to have a foot controller and loop a specific section of a song, instead of trying to put your finger on the little red dot 🔴, guess how far to back it up and keep doing it over and over.
I like to slow down the bars I’m working on, then gradually increase the speed as I get the hang of it. The Bluetooth feature means one less wire on the floor and one more available outlet on my power strip.
This product is built like a tank, with the solid metal construction comparable to the best guitar pedals. I have communicated with Wayne and can vouch for the customer service. Although Amy is better looking 😬😆, Wayne impresses me as extremely honest and sincere, and as a genuinely nice guy.
I have no doubt they will back up their product. I mentioned guitar effects pedals above. Many people have blown money on effects pedals that they really didn’t need. And many in that same group probably have several pedals that they don’t use sitting in a drawer or box.
Trust me when I tell ya that you are better off spending your cash on either version of the Vidami than any guitar effects pedal. I also plan to use my Vidami Blue to scroll hands-free thru music on iReal Pro and other platforms when I’m playing out.

Vidami hit the mark ALMOST perfectly. This tool works fantastically with everything it does. I have the original Vidami. I would love to purchase a Vidami blue. BUT!!! There are a lot of companies that are prejudiced against ANDROID! Vidami has to be one of them.
Maybe one of these days, they will upgrade their system to include android users too. I know many users of the Spark Amp and android tablets would most probably purchase this tool if it supported android also.
I find the organization of the foot switches to be awkward and end up using my hands to access the functions. I don’t find this to be much of an issue. More significantly, the unit sometimes freezes the video when I select the “out” end of a loop.
Then I have to go back and try to recapture the loop again, sometimes 3 or 4 times, before it’s captured without freezing up. This shouldn’t happen even once, especially with a unit costing this much.
Despite these issues, the Vidami is still MUCH easier to deal with than working with a mouse to do the same thing. So even with the problems I mentioned, I’ll definitely be keeping mine.

Ditto X2 is the natural evolution of Ditto Looper. TC listened to all the feedback they’ve had from happy Ditto users and carefully selected a handful of amazing features that are designed specifically to take your looping to the next level.
Ditto X2 is for when you want to get serious about looping, but without sacrificing that signature-simplicity that guitar players know and love from Ditto Looper. One thing they decided to focus on was a dedicated stop-button.
If you have ever tried looping during a live performance then you know the importance of being able to stop the loop exactly when you want to. Ditto X2 lets you use the FX footswitch as a dedicated stop, letting you end things nice and easy.
The whole main reason I got this pedal was pretty simple. I wanted to be able to record riffs and songs of myself playing through this pedal, and then I wanted to save them to my computer. The looper only stores five minutes at a time, so I thought that’s ok because I would save riffs onto my computer, and then whenever I wanted to, load them back onto the looper, I thought that would be fine.
NOOO! This feature does not work for this pedal. You cannot record yourself playing, then save it onto a computer, delete it from the pedal and then load it back onto the pedal with the computer. This feature doesn’t work.
You can go through the motions that the manual says to do, but as soon as you plug the pedal into an amp, nothing plays! I was really frustrated and angry. TC Electronics product service lies and says that there pedals don’t have such a problem.
The firmware update doesn’t solve the matter. I thought I would write this review so that other buyers understand what they are getting.
if you’re looking for a looper that does the job, this is definitely one that you should consider. Not sure it’s worth $180 but for sure $120 or so, which is the price for which many eBay sellers are asking.
Pluses are ease of use (I recommend separate power supply) and apparent quality of build. Minuses are that the bells and whistles (playing in reverse and half speed) don’t seem to have much real world functionality, and that if you load your own backing tracks into it, you can only access the last one that you loaded.
This is a pain in the posterior; I loaded seven tracks (one for each mode) and the !#!$#$ thing will only play one of them. To get to the next one, I have to delete the one that’s in front of it. What’s more, once you’ve imported a track, you HAVE to use it – the looper will play it once you switch it on and you can’t turn off that track.
Maybe the really large version addresses these issues, but for my money I’d rather have random access to multiple pre-loaded backing tracks and an off switch so that I don’t have to use them all the time, rather than silly reverse and half speed modes.
