Best Longest Lasting Self Tanner (2026 Updated)

I have used both the BBE lotion and now the mousse. Both are great products! If you are looking for a deeper, bolder tan then I would suggest BBE’s lotion over the mousse. However, If you are looking just to have a nice sun-kissed, natural tan/glow– the mousse is great for that! The mousse also applies just a little easier and dries a lot quicker! There is no color guide (as the foam is white) but I don’t mind that personally.

The smell is very pleasant going on and the DHA smell is fairly light as it dries. It fades really naturally and seems to take A LOT less effort to scrub off and prepare for a new applocation. But quite possibly my most favorite thing about it of all is how EASY it is to blend onto your hands & feet!!!! Sooooo much easier than the lotion and looks SUPER natural.

Lastly, I feel like the mousse lasts longer on my face and armpits than when I used the lotion. The color always seemed to fade a little faster in those areas but it seems I get a few extra days of color there with the mousse.

I highly recommend giving this product a try!.

I love the brand Beauty by Earth! I have used some of their other products and really enjoyed them, but this was my first time using the self tanning mousse. I love being able to say my tan is natural 😉 the ingredients list is amazing.

I love that it includes essential oils instead of any kind of fragrance. It does still give the classic self tan smell, but I have found that every brand I have used has done the same. nothing abnormal.

I will say that I would not recommend this for those who are new to using self tanning products. There is no guide color, which I am assuming it to keep the brand more natural. for me, this is difficult because I am not quite a pro at applying self tanner, so it came out kind of splotchy for me.

I’m sure this would get better with experience 🙂 the color pay off was good, a little orange for me, but after a shower, it looked very natural! definitely worth it!.

Fair skin and freckled here. I’ve used a handful of different tanners going back near 20 years and this is by far the best one I’ve tried. Very smooth application. IF you properly exfoliate, apply cream like it says to on dry areas, and use the mitt as it says to then you will have a perfect application and colour.

After it dries there is absolutely no stickiness or colour transfer. The only time I ever saw colour was when using toner on a face pad on my face. I use an infrared sauna daily and sweat a lot in it and using a cloth for the sweat- zero colour transfer.

The colour on me lasted nearly a week with just the one application.

This is an excellent product and works wonderfully! It will give you that natural, Sunkist tanned look all the around. However, paying these prices are ridiculous when you can get a five bottles supply directly from the manufacturer for $99 and if you want a set of three, Tanner, exfoliating lotion, and matching moisturizer that keeps your tan for much longer for only $70 on Amazon.

You should not have to pay more than $99 for a five month supply. This is worth every penny and is really no more expensive than other Tanners you buy at the drugstore every day. The only difference between those and this is that this really works and leaves you with a natural tan.

No more orange or yellow tones! I would definitely recommend buying this particular brand just be sure you’re getting it for the best price.

Fabulous product. Lived 33 years in South Florida and never found a tanning product like this. Since moving to the mountains of Colorado, I missed having color in my face as I do not wear make up. As soon as I discovered this product I purchased a bottle.

You only need a very small amount as it spreads quickly across your skin and last for several days. I only need one application every three days as it was the perfect color for me. And once again, life is good.

This is my favorite tanning lotion I’ve tried yet. Have already bought 3 bottles. It doesn’t leave you streaky or orange at all. Good for your face as well. It doesn’t smell bad either. Has a light citrus kind of smell.

The best quality about this product is that I’ve experience minimal transfer onto clothing and the application is wayyyyy quicker than mousse or lotion self tanners. However, in order to get a noticeable tan you either have to really saturate your skin (which kinda wastes the product) or go a shade darker than normal, which is what I’m gonna do for my next purchase.

Unlike other tanners I’ve used, this one doesn’t look like a “stain” if that makes sense. It seems to evenly apply and develop more naturally than the mousse products I’ve used. Mind you, the only other tanners I’ve used are jergens and Hawaiian tropic, both of which are way cheaper, and this product is a mist, so there very well could be other most products with better results.

Especially since this mist has possibly the worst application on hands feet that I’ve ever experienced lol. I’ve learnt to just use a gradual tanning lotion for hands/feet for a better application. Overall, it’s a decent product and fades gracefully relative to cheaper products.

A little pricy for the quantity you get (it has lasted me about a month and a half only applying 1-2 x a week), and the bottle is the dumbest shape ever and you can’t set it down properly when applying it due to the rounded shape.

But it’s super convenient to use and it looks really even/natural, so for that I’d say it’s worth it. Just maybe consider going a shade darker.

Summer is here and I was excited to try the Isle of Paradise self tanning oil mist. I’ve used their tanning drops and mouse in Light as well and have liked the application and results. I’ve been self tanning for over 10 years now and I’m well aware of the do’s and don’ts.

I started by shaking the bottle and spraying it on my legs. Wow, it sprays out a lot of product, more than their self tanning water. Not only does it spray out a lot but because of the oil consistency it starts running super fast so have a mitt close by and ready to blend.

Keep in mind the floor too. I found because so much of the oil misted out a lot of it got on my bathroom floor. Not noticing wear it had fallen because the oil is clear I got so much of it on the bottom of my feet just by moving around trying to get it on.

It was messy. I ended up just spraying it on to my self tanning mitt and then blending it out for an easier application. The formula is nice on the skin and absorbs fast making it easy to layer. The Light shade worked well on my light to light/medium skin tone.

It was not too intense or orangey. Would I recommend it yes and no. The formula is nice and may be great for someone with dry skin (although I would recommend the Isle Of Paradise butter instead) The application is just super messy! It doesn’t make sense to have this formula in a spray bottle.

Don’t even bother spraying it onto your skin and spray it on to a mitt instead (but if you’re doing that just go for the mouse version instead. ).

I had previously tried tanning water from another brand and was disappointed by how smelly and streaky it was. I purchased this product hoping that a tanning oil mist would be different. It sure is! This tanning oil mist gives natural looking color and isn’t streaky as long as you prep your skin and apply it carefully.

Although it has a slight smell, it doesn’t reek like other fake tan products. Here is what I do to ensure an even application: 1. Shower and exfoliate using a sugar scrub. 2. Lightly apply lotion to areas that are dry or tend to crease.

I typically applied to my joints: ankles, knees, elbows, and wrists. 3. Shake the bottle, then spray a few pumps onto a tanning mitt. 4. Blend in using a circular motion. Don’t start on dry patches or on your joints.

5. Don’t forget your hands and feet! Only use the excess product that is left on your mitt. Pro tip: I’ve read a lot of reviews stating that it’s difficult to set the bottle down while applying product because the end is curved.

You can set the cap upside down on a flat surface and easily balance the bottle on top. Problem solved!.

I bought this on a whom 2 days ago at my local Walmart. I purchased a mitt to apply the product and I have to say it went on pretty easily I followed the directions by exfoliating 1st as it states on the bottle.

I actually stumbled across a exfoliating sponge which was inexpensive and did a great job. I got a little braver by applying it to my face as well !!! The results were pretty amazing. The mousse has a color guard so you can see exactly where you are applying.

I did not use cream or moisturizer on my elbows ,knees or heels but if you are really dry I would recommend doing that. I also learned a few tricks by watching u tube videos on how to achieve the best results and by adding a few of the tricks i.

e. using a makeup blending brush for the top of my hands and feet really worked out to soften and help the look more soft and more real. The only con is after applying the smell is not pleasant it seems to get a little stronger as it drys but overall not as bad as some of the other products I have used in the past.

I would highly recommend doing this at night and use an old sheet to lay on as some will transfer off. 8 hrs later after a good night’s sleep wake up rinse not scrub in the shower and boom pretty nice results.

I have already recommended this to friends and the price is awesome 9. 97 and the mitt which is reusable 5. 97 exfoliating sponge 2. 97 so 19. 00 bucks total and tanned for at least 3 days and if you use a gradual tan moisturizer it can last quite awhile.

You can also reapply as neededto get even darker. #LoveTheBtan+forever.

I’ve never been so impressed with a tanning mousse. “b. tan forever & ever” is by far the easiest to use, longest lasting, non-streaky, natural-looking fake tan I’ve ever used. I apply at night with the “b.

tan” mitt (which is also great – it’s super soft, works on both hands with a thumb slot for extra comfort). I’ve only noticed transfer on my pillow (I’m bald, so I use this on my head, too) and on one super sweaty night on my sheets.

In the morning, I rinse off the guide color in the shower and I’m suddenly tan!I also like to use this on my face, mostly on my cheekbones, nose, and forehead. I pump it into an old moisturizer jar, apply with a dense foundation brush, and blend with a fluffy brush.

I’ve also used it on my eyebrows with a precision brush – again, I don’t have hair, so it helps to color in my brows especially when my face is tanner. This also works great for faux freckles, because it’s so dark! I put a bit on an old toothbrush and flick it toward my face.

Be careful since this can make a mess! Apply after your evening skincare routine (the freckles will look scary-dark at first), and wash off in the morning. Face lotion prevents the tanner from getting too dark on your skin, so the freckles look super natural.

The only tanning mousse I’ll ever buy!.

Let me preface by saying I have very fair skin. So fair, that a few years ago I tried to buy some concealer/foundation from MAC and they didn’t carry a shade light enough for me out of the many different formulas they have.

If I want to contour/highlight my highlight concealer is almost/pretty much white (move along Snow White, I’m the fairest of them all). So I have always been afraid to use self- tanning products since the one or two I have tried in the past made me look unnatural and orange, and smelling terrible.

I decided to buy some when at Rite Aid the other day. It was only $10. 99 (and the mitt from a different brand was only $6), and I read some great reviews about this brand. When I was checking out, the cashier (a woman in probably her late forties with a great tan herself) commented on how it works really well.

So I did all the recommended steps the night before using, of exfoliating my whole body, shaving, and moisturizing really well. I applied all over which was simple besides having my husband put some on my back.

It had no terrible smell at all. I waited about 7 hours and washed it off and BOOM!! Bronzed goddess!! I wish I had taken a before and after pic to show (I’ll have to write an update next application), but it looks so natural and really made me feel confident.

Definitely going to keep purchasing.

I’ve tried tons of self tanning lotions. This one is great and here’s why: – no tanning smell, this mousse actually smells quite nice during application. It’s a soft subtle scent of something spa like mixed with a rich baby lol – this mousse DEVELOPS.

Looks quite light upon application because this product doesn’t dazzle you with the color guard that washes off in the first shower after application. Cheaper mousse will do that. Not this one. It has 100% DHAs meaning it’s potent in the developing process.

– it lasts a week if not longer if you care for your self tan (moisturize daily) – the fading period is quite graceful This mousse isn’t for you if: – you don’t enjoy being a tad sticky after applying.

The stickiness goes away after a bit but it is a little sticky, not excessive though. – cool tone people may not enjoy the this product as it could make them look a little orange. It’s good for neutral and warm skin tones as I feel this tanner leans a bit on the warm tone.

If you have fair skin like me and want a natural looking tan, this is the product for you. If you want a super dark tan, this is not for you. There is a green tinted guide color in the mousse to help you apply evenly so you will look extra dark and streaky until you rinse off in the shower.

Once it washes off it’s obviously lighter but more natural looking. Then it gets a little darker over the next 8 hours or so. The people complaining about it being streaky when first applying and color washing off in the shower didn’t read the description on the bottle because it’s supposed to do that.

Also yes, I agree it is sticky and has a smell until you rinse off but I’ve never tried a self tanner that doesn’t have that. I put on loose clothes after a couple mins despite the stickiness and have never had issues with transfer.

I always apply it when I plan to not leave the house for a few hours. I’ve tried a lot of self tanners and have stuck to this one for the last year because it’s the easiest to apply (because of the guide color), has the best end result color (not orange), and I like that I only have to have it on for 3 hours.

I apply once a week and the big bottle lasts me over 2 months.

I first tried St Tropez about 15 years ago when self tanning at home started to trend more, it was the best then and it’s the best now. I’ve tried all the major brands over the years, the expensive £30 ones and the cheap £5 ones and none of them compare to the OG – St Tropez.

The formula is so silky it simply glides onto your skin and blends so well with a mitt, it really is fool proof. It smells nice as you apply, it’s not overwhelmingly fragranced. I won’t deny there is the tell tale fake tan smell as it develops but I just think whatever brand and whatever the packaging boasts you cannot get away from the smell, however with the St Tropez it isn’t as strong.

I leave it on overnight as I like a darker tan which this achieves without looking orange. It develops to suit my skin tone. It fades pretty evenly without going patchy, but you often get a build up in the creases of your body, again that’s the same with all tan so I often scrub these areas a bit harder of loosen with a body oil.

I highly recommend it.

I love the Tannologist Dark Tan Drops, They always blend and seamlessly and I love that I can add them to any moisturizer or body oil that I please. The one complaint that I have is how brief the instructions are on the back of the bottle.

They basically just say to mix a certain number of drops into your favorite moisturizer and apply, but there’s no warning of using a tanning mitt or some sort of guard to protect her hands, because if you don’t, you’ll end up with orange palms guaranteed! I actually looked up some reviews on YouTube to make sure I wasn’t the only one that had this issue, and it seems like everyone else had the same complaint.

As long as he use a tanning mitt or gloves, you should be fine. A tip that I always give for applying self tanner: even if you use a tanning mitt sometimes the product will seep through a little bit and get on your hands, or most likely, you will apply some of the leftover product onto the tops of your hands to blend in with the rest of your tan— to avoid overly tanned knuckles and cuticles, I use a nail brush to softly scrub those areas so the product density disappears.

Nothing worse than having orange-brown nails!.

I want to start off by saying I love Tanned AF products. I’ve never used this 1 in particular before so I wanted to give it a shot. All the reviews seemed wonderful and back of my head I thought how could I not love this product right? but for some reason the bottle I received was damaged first off.

But still worked. So I gave it a go. I put on my first layer after shaving, exfoliating and showering like you are supposed to. Didn’t see a difference in 1 hour. Not a bit of a change even when applying it.

The green tint instantly faded away. So after that hour I just went ahead and applied a second coat. Went to bed. Woke up the next morning hoping to see beautiful bronzed skin in the mirror, I’d even have been happy with an orange glow at that point.

The product did not make a difference what so ever/ keep in mind I’m a very fair skinned woman so I always see immediate change. I’m not sure if I just received a bunk item or the damage through shipping did something but I just didn’t care for this specific one.

But I will still continue to buy my other tanned af products that I know work for me.

love love love this tanner. it smells just like it says – candy. it will have a slight self tanner smell if you leave it on over night but the first time you rinse it off it doesn’t smell like anything anymore.

this does get you tan, but it’s more of a natural tan. for me it looks like I laid outside for a week kinda tan. it doesn’t get streaky AT ALL. I have never had a tanner not be patchy around my knees, ankles, or hands but this looked flawless.

Basically fool proof. it does come out as green foam which looks scary, but it actually fades into a natural tan like mentioned. you won’t be green lol. it’s a little sticky but not terrible. it dries down after 20min.

This self Tanner really works. They have different shades so you can pick your desired level of tan. Smells like cotton candy as well. The sun tan spray lotion from this brand also works really good.

Affordable prices and great quality. I small amount of the self Tanner goes a long way. I use this all the time and no one can tell that it isn’t my own natural tan, most just assume I go to the tanning bed, which I did use to do but as I have gotten older I would rather just self tan during the colder months and save my skin from so much sun exposure but I still would like that nice healthy glow.

This does just that, and it smells really nice.

Repeat user of this lotion self tanner. Leaves my skin feeling moisturized after vs the dry feel with foam. Doesn’t leave streaks unless you leave a thick layer of lotion somewhere. Even have used on my face and back with no acne issues.

Has a very faint scent that isn’t noticeable unless you really are breaking a sweat.

I love this self-tanner. A trust-worthy friend recommended it, so I had high hopes and haven’t been let down. My previous fave was St Tropez mousse, which is still great, but this has even less of an odor, so wins for me! I apply it with a mitt and it does have a slightly green-tint when applying, but the vaguely green tint goes away VERY FAST (even before you’re done with the rest of the application!) The tint of the foam does really help to see where the product is applied, and again, it goes away VERY FAST! This tanner doesn’t turn orange on me, and I’ve never noticed streaks or blotchiness (on my 3rd application) And I am not the most careful applier of tanner either! Best of all, this has a very low odor.

Lets be real, all self tanners have “that” smell, but this is minimal, and doesn’t seem to transfer to clothing. I applied mid-day yesterday, then put on light colored shorts, and there was no orange “rub off” on my shorts and now (next morning) I haven’t yet showered yet, and I can not smell it at all.

My sheets nor do the PJ’s I slept in smell or have any color transfer. Thats a HUGE plus in my opinion!.

I read reviews on this product and figured I would try it out. Gave it a 3 star because for the price I don’t think it’s the best. I applied after exfoliating in the shower, made sure I was completely dried.

The smell is gross and it’s very sticky when applied. Also does not dry real fast. If you do feel you should try it out I would suggest showering at night and then applying it before bed (also put a towel down to sleep on so you don’t get sheets stained).

I applied this after my morning shower. it took almost thirty minutes to dry and about 45 mins to not feel sticky. I’m a busy mom and after applying and drying I later went to wash dishes and realized where the water splashed on my arm there were spots so I had to go all day with spot tans and it was obvious I was using a fake tanner.

Once I showered the next day the spots were gone but so was most of the tan. Took about three applications to really work. (Definitely don’t use if it’s raining or sprinkling outside). To me not worth the price.

I got this free with the vita liberata blur lotion. I was so excited to try it, Firstly I’m a fake tan pro, I wear it 12 months of the year. The lotion came out horribly and applied really weird clung to any hair and was really mucky looking, I gave it the benefit of the doubt and rinsed and reapplied and repeated twice.

The end result was a very light patchy worn away looking colour. I fully removed and tried again a few days later and same results, patchy, mucky and looks like tan that’s worn off. So disappointed I’ll be going back to my trusted bottles of iconic bronze and tan organic.

Maybe the bottle I got was faulty or old but this just did nothing right.

There are so many great things about this tan, I love it so much! I’ve been self tanning for years and years and I can’t believe I didn’t try it sooner. I doubted a cosmetics company’s ability to deliver a good self tan and assumed it was just a cash grab from the brand (sorry, Tarte).

But I needn’t worry because this stuff is amazing and exactly the kind of tan I love so much these days. The pros (and there are many) 1. Lotion – like consistency makes it easy to spread evenly. I use my bare hands and wash between sections to avoid tanned palms and this works out great.

Also allows me to use less product by skipping using a mitt that absorbs. 2. The color! Perfect neutral tone for my light-medium, very olive skin. It has a purple-brown base and does not look orange on me whatsoever, even after it develops.

This is the best color for my olive skin I think I’ve found in a tanner (green based tans accentuates too much of the green in my skin and make me look somewhat sickly. Red bases can work but they alter my natural undertone too much and often end up making me look like I’m covered in body foundation.

Orange is never good for obvious reasons). 3. The depth. Also perfect for my complexion. I used to want the darkest tan I could possibly find, but after looking back on pictures I realize how unnatural those tans looked on me (Sosu Dripping Gold, Loving Tan Ultra Dark, Tanceuticals Ultra Dark).

With one coat this legit makes me look like I’ve been out in the sun working on my tan. It is a perfect medium tan, which is what I want being of medium complexion (light – medium in winter). 4. The fade.

It slowly leaves my skin over the course of the week, never ever leaving behind dry, crusty looking patches. I think this is thanks to the moisturizing formula. 5. Doesn’t clog pores so I can use it on my face and don’t need a seperate face tanner.

6. Very little to no DHA smell after showering. 7. Hands and feet take the tan very nicely. No patchiness or unevenness or crazy looking knuckles. 8. I’ve used it twice now over my whole body (One coat each time) and the bottle still feels very much full.

A little goes a long way esp. when skipping the mit and just using bare hands to rub it in Cons: So far I haven’t found one which is crazy because I am so picky about self tanners and have never found a truly perfect one.

I could be nit picky and wish the depth of color lasted a little longer, but there are trade offs and I feel like I’d lose some of its other qualities if that were the case.

I love this tanner for the immediate color and glow I get upon application. It is sticky and thick. I prefer to apply it with a mitt to ensure even application. The color guide allows you to see where you apply but can wear off on clothes.

The bronzing agent does sweat off easily as well and streaks if you accidentally get dropped with water. The color guide can be rinsed off after a couple of hours and initially leaves a nice tan color.

However, this tanning product does not give as intense or long lasting color as you would expect based on the depth of the color guide. There is an unpleasant “tanner” smell even after rinsing the bronzing color guide.

The retail price for this product is more expensive than others on the market that provide better color payoff and a longer lasting results. I will not purchase this product again and cannot recommend it.

This smells better than most self tanners but it does still have the self tanner smell after a while. It smells like cinnamon or nutmeg or something at first and when applying. It is a lotion with bronzer and develops to tan over a few hours (8 per the bottle).

You can also use on your face which is a plus. It definitely seems more gradual than some “express” self tanners but I do have some color after only 1 use. If you dont have a mitt, Try using disposable gloves or be prepared to immediately wash your hands 15 times after.

I used my bare hands once and immediately washed with my bath and body works foaming hand soap. Nothing. Hands still brown. I tried face scrub. Much better but still tinted. So then I washed my hands twice with orange dial liquid hand soap and that did the trick!.

I’ve been using Flawless since 2012 and the old formula was great with instant natural looking tan. I don’t know what they did but this new formula in a white bottle is absolutely horrible. It has a chemical smell and the color doesn’t blend or develop well.

To make matters worse, after a few weeks of use, the color now developes into a dirty orangy look and doesn’t blend at all. The smell has gotten worse. Fake Bake should ashamed of themselves for putting out this garbage.

Absolute HORROR. Avoid like the plague!.

I am blonde with fair skin and over 60. Over exposure to the sun over the years WILL come back to haunt you. I now have age spots ALL over my legs and arms and about 2 years ago, skins cancers begin to appear, causing a trip to the dermatologist very 6 months to either have them removed or monitor new ones.

I want to wear shorts in the Summer – yet was very self conscious. My daughter, who is learning from her Mom’s sun exposure mistakes, had purchased Fake Bake and said it was really good – so I gave it a try.

It comes with gloves and a mit to use to apply the product. It is very easy to do, it doesn’t have that awful sunless tanner smell and best of all, it works! My legs immediately looked like I had spent some time in the sun, when in reality, I had spent about 15 minutes using this product.

I did order the Fake Bake exfoliating wipes as well for the extra prep they recommended. I will using both of these products for years to come!.

I think this might be my first beauty product review. I typically tell myself I’m going to write one and never do, BUT I had to write one on this. I’ve tried so many self tanners: Tan Luxe, Tanologist, St.

Moriz, Jergens, St. Tropez etc. Fake Bake is sooo underrated! I was apprehensive due to having to spray it on the mitt then apply. I’ve never used a spray like this. Applied, woke up and couldn’t wait to see the results.

I was soooo pleasantly surprised! I didn’t wake up wanting to take a shower ASAP due to smell. The color is so even. I haven’t showered yet and it hasn’t been 24hrs but so far I plan to purchase again, and again.

I’ve never thought this after trying different sunless tanners!.

I’ve been itching to find a self tanner that isn’t your traditional, over-the-counter nasty stuff. I’ve tried a few different tanners that are more ethical and sustainable and this is by far my favorite.

You see results within hours and even one application will last me a few days. Then, it’s up to me how much I want to deepen the color. The first week I tried it, I did two applications with a day off in between.

I loved the glow that I got from this – it looked relatively natural but still a little different than what I would look like if I spent a week in the sun (but I don’t want to do that to my skin anymore, hence the tanner).

My only complaints are that I get streaks at my wrists because you have to wash your hands right after. Understandably – no one wants streaky hands but I wish there was a way, like the tanning drops, to treat those sensitive areas.

I have yet to purchase the bronzing drops so I also didn’t want to deepen my color knowing that my face would then be much lighter than the rest of my body. I recently purchased the drops so I’ll be looking forward to combining those with the lotion and giving myself a nice, dark glow.

This lotion does have a self-tanner scent, but it’s very mild. I don’t mind it at all. We need to accept the fact that it’s going to be very challenging to find a self tanner lotion that WORKS that doesn’t have a little bit of a scent.

Also, anytime I apply I use a pair a pajamas that I don’t really care about, and lay down a blanket on my couch and bed to prevent staining. I haven’t had any issues with this though, even on the blanket and clothes I use after applying.

I know some reviews have complained about staining, but there are some simple ways to prevent this. I recommend this product and am looking forward to trying more of this line!.

I love the brand’s face tanning drops (use it every other day), and with winter coming up I figured I would try out the tanning lotion to get some color. My favorite things about this product is how soft it makes my skin, as well as how a little goes a long way.

Initially I was worried that the bottle was going to run out fast, but I don’t think that’ll be too much of a problem since I plan to use it somewhat irregularly. It’s not a complete 5/5 for me because I don’t love the smell, although it’s not terrible and it doesn’t stick around, plus I’ve never used fake tanner so it might smell better than other products.

The main reason it’s not a perfect 5 star product for me is that I’m not sure how much I like the color of the tan. I’m a fair Latina so while I get pale, I still have a bit of an olive tone to my skin.

I don’t think this self tanner is a great replica of my natural color, though it is a pretty glow. Either way I could see myself buying this again next winter!.

I was really excited to see a self tanning product that also provides sunscreen protection. This comes as a “spray,” but the very first time I tried it, the product squirted out a little bit, then clogged the sprayer.

It is really runny. What I ended up doing to salvage my pricey product was pry the lid and sprayer off, then pour the product into my hand and rub it on. I have to be really careful or it drips all over the place.

It would probably be better packaged in a tube that you squeeze out. It does result in a natural tan, and does work well as a sunscreen.

I think I’m on my sixth bottle of this product. My daughter and I both use it, and have for the past two years. The bottle actually lasts a lot longer than I would have thought! My teenager uses it basically all over and looks like she’s been at the beach all the time! It is very forgiving and doesn’t leave streaks and blotchy spots like so many other self tanners do.

I use it mainly on my face and chest. Typically I apply it after my Friday shower and it gives a great glow to my face over the weekend and gradually dissipates the following week. I even use it on my upper eyelids, just under my eyebrows.

It adds a little darker skin tone so that I don’t have to worry about eyeshadow too much! Really love this product.

I have been using Skinny tan for at least two years. I bought a good amount my first orders that has lasted me. After getting my new order, something has changed. I never had an orange fake tan look before.

(the mouse and gradual tanner I ordered a year ago) now this mouse and gradual tanner is not a nice bronze. It is orange!! I am naturally tan color and I use on my legs because I’m summer months my legs are not as tan as the rest of me( due to work pants and not shorts during the week).

But before, the bronzer would match my normal tanned skin. This stuff is just plain orange. very unhappy!! I hate to say that because I have bragged to several about the mouse I was using but now I will definitely let them know something has changed!! Well they can see it.

I just tried it out the other day!!.

I was so excited for my delivery to arrive, it finally got delivered and I did everything the bottle said to do (I’ve also used loads of other gradual tanners in the past with no issues), the next day I looked ridiculous! The cream itself is SO thick it’s like factor 50 suncream and turns you white whilst you’re putting it on, it does feel dry pretty quick but that’s probably because it’s so thick.

I’m so pale normally so I buy gradual tanners over fake tan most the time to get a more natural look, this turned me orange after one application! Nothing natural or gradual about it. I also bought the tan eraser and that works to a certain extent (better than my other scrub anyway) but it still took me over a week to get the ‘gradual’ tan off my body.

I‘m so disappointed because I’d read so many good reviews before buying but I put mine straight in the bin.

Made the mistake of using this the day before an event and it was a bit of disaster. I use gradual tans all the time mostly Summer Body is my go to but thought I’d give this one a go. Once it developed It was deep orange, Streaky and patchy and clung my knees, elbows etc.

I might have well use a normal self tanner it was so deep. I washed my hands straight after use but my palms were orange. The bottle says its a nice coconut scent but this wasn’t the case it was an unpleasant smell and that’s even before the self tan starts to develop.

I had never used Skinny Tan before and this has put me off wanting to try out any of their other products.

I have used this fo going on a year now, the milky lotion is definitely my favourite although I do like the gel as it develops quicker. However this lotion lasts much longer and fades so easily. O was nervous try this at first as I was used to mouse’s and had an accident with the clarins tan drops streaking on my arms.

But I apply this with my hands wash them thoroughly and then take a cotton pad and put a tiny bit on my hands with hand cream. Perfect tan everyone, a golden colour not muddy. Love love love. Please make in a larger bottle !!.

Amazing! The colour is natural and looks so good on my skin. I’m very white and don’t want to look orange and overly tanned. One light application was enough for me. It smells great and doesn’t stain my bed.

My legs weren’t sticky during the night and woke up very happy with the look. I know it’s on but people wouldn’t be able to notice and that’s the secret of a good tan. Finally something I feel confident using very happy to buy over and over.

Actually I will ! Hope it stays as a permanent product.

This is my first time using a Bondi Sands tanning product and the first time using an express tanning foam. I’ve used several other tanning products from Tarte, Tan Luxe, Isle of Paradise. creams, butters, waters, oils.

I’ve enjoyed all of these products, however none have given me the rich bronze glowing tan that Bondi Sands Express Dark Self Tanning Foam has given me. Initially I was a bit gun shy and only kept on for 2 hours then washed off.

The tan was nice and golden, but I wanted to see if it could go deeper. After a few days I reapplied and left on for 3-4 hours. Washed off and wow!! Such a beautiful rich golden glowing tan. The color continues to develop, becomes darker and even more bronze.

This is by far the most effective tanning product I’ve used. And it goes on so easily. I use a tanning mitt and make sure to blend in even strokes. It’s easy to apply with the guide color. No streaks, no patches, just gorgeous bronze glowing tan.

The key is to use as directed. I use exactly as the bottle says and no issues, perfect tan each time. For the price (on sale) and the effectiveness of this product, I highly recommend and will continue to purchase.

I have been using fake tan for years. I am naturally fair skinned and my go to fave has always been the Bondi Sands Ultra Dark mousse. I only tried the Ultra Dark foam because the mousse was sold out and the foam was on offer, so thought I’d give it a whirl.

I’m such a fan of Bondi Sands Ultra Dark foam (and mousse) Compared to other brands, it creates a deeper looking tan (no orange!) and it wears off evenly, which I really like. No patchy knees or ankles.

Compared to the mousse, the foam dries a lot quicker. I like that too. No sticky feeling, it absorbs really well. There’s also less transfer onto clothes / bedsheets, before that morning shower. The only thing I have found (and this is simply user error, not a complaint!) is that I create a ball of foam to rub on myself, but as I rub it onto my skin the foam ball sometimes drops onto my carpet.

I’ve applied the tan on two occasions and now have 4 splodges of tan to scrub out of my carpet. So maybe do smaller squirts of foam? For me though, this is the best tan out there at the moment and it’s not even that pricey compared to some of them.

Absolute favorite self tan product on the market. Nothing beats the rich, natural-looking color. I left tanning salons behind when I discovered this. Spray tans are too hit-or-miss and develop on the orange side of the color spectrum.

One coat gives a lovely tan that gently fades over the course of a week. Two applications create a gloriously dark tan, though it sometimes fades patchy, especially if you’ve been sweating a lot. But that’s another great thing about this.

You can adjust the amount of product as desired. The trick is to apply before bed, shower every other day, don’t rub dry with a towel, instead lightly pat, and stay moisturized. I stay tanned all summer with this and weekly application.

Even compared to other Bondi Sands tanners like Liquid Gold, this is the true gold standard.

I usually buy the foam version but it had sold out. Bought this instead and applied with the mitt. Was genuinely concerned when I applied it because it didn’t seem to rub in well and I looked a muddy mess.

It was sticky for a good 20 minutes but I got dressed anyway. Didn’t have high hopes and thought it would be patchy but I was genuinely impressed when I rinsed it off the next day. I have an all over even colour and no streaks at all.

My skin feels so soft too. I think I prefer this end result to the foam bondi sands but the foam is easier and dries quicker. I have pale skin and dark hair. One coat was perfect. No orange tint at all.

Best results I’ve had from a self tanner. I’ve always hated the foam versions because they’re extremely sticky & you have to sit like still otherwise it’ll streak. This product is cream based so it’s very minimally sticky, smells nice, and easy to apply.

I exfoliated then applied once out of the shower, then a second later 30 min after as suggested on directions. Went to bed and woke up with the PERFECT tan. Get the ultra dark version. I didn’t use gloves as suggested, and woke up with very black hands but it washed away easily with a little scrubbing in the shower.

You gotta try this besties.

I have used Bondi Sands light to medium tanning lotion for the first time this year. I am allergic to uv A and uv B rays and have been diagnosed with PMLE- or Polymorphic Light Eruption and I break out in hives mainly across the back of my neck and upper arms as soon as the sun and uv hits me.

I’ve decided to use this lotion to give my skin a darker pigment to try to block the sun and uv from touching my skin. So far it seems to be working for me and I only have a light rash this time around.

I’m extremely happy with this lotion as it’s the first lotion I’ve found that doesn’t make me itchy on top of my allergy which I sometimes get when I break out with my allergy. So far so good and I am one happy lady.
