20 Best Long Range Wireless Mouse (2023 Updated)

Over the last several years, I have purchased many of these mice, for all my computers, both at my office and for home. My hands are only average size, so I am comfortable using these mice. Ignoring battery life, these mice generally last about three to four years.

After that, the mouse buttons either spontaneously double click or don’t always register a mouse click. I always try to catch sales on these mice and keep one or two standing by for replacements. They use the Logitech unifying receiver, so other Logitech devices can be used as well with one single usb receiver.

The receiver “just works” with Windows and quite sure other operating systems as well. I do recommend this mouse.

Good price, dependable and perfect for laptops when you are often on the go and traveling, worked really well with my windows laptop i had for work. Bought them for all student computers and office computers at work.

I hated always being surrounded with wires and trying to hide them from guests because it is ugly. This allowed such sleek and modern abilities. As soon as I used the first one and knew it would run slow or have any glitches for being a wireless mouse, I bought the remaining computers all one.

Comfortable grooves, clicking and scrolling features. Runs off of the most common battery (AA or AAA can’t remeber) and it lasts a long time. It will stop using the charge once idle for so long but never took a long time to wake back up.

This is the best mouse to invest in for companies with many computers and schools that have computer and research/study labs for students because they can last a lifetime. If you lose or break the connector for back of computers – once used for another mouse can be used as soon as you plug in – it will recognize the nearest mouse and begin to control automatically.

For public places – the only issue i had is that people would steal mouse since it can easily fit a pocket and not attached to wires and wall but most people would forget the piece attached to computer.

BIG PLUS FOR ME was that the small attachment was able to fit and be sealed in an opening made underneath the mouse so that way you can transfer, move, package etc. in an organized way without fearing you will lose the attachment.

After years using an old-style Mac mouse my right wrist and hand would hurt after the start of work in the morning and would be very uncomfortable all during the day. I discovered this problem had been studied and it was due to the pronation of the wrist and forearm to hold and move the mouse.

On reading reports about this and discovering alternatives, I bought and changed over to trackballs. Graduating from wired to wireless I have enjoyed owning several Logitech Trackballs. The shape of the unit fits perfectly into my hand and manipulation of the ball using my thumb is as natural as it can be.

The clicker under the wheel I program to be a ‘back’ button, but these new ones use an added button to the left to help with that also. I use these Logitech Trackballs for as many hours as needed or wanted without the past pain and discomfort, showing that they are ideally suited to the geometry of my human body.

Plus, when used on a small table with limited space, the fact that I don’t have to move the whole mouse over a large area is really very convenient. All my screens can be traversed by one little trackball sitting in the same little place.

I’ll start off by saying that the Logitech M650L wireless mouse is a very nice mouse. I have used many dozens of mice, wireless and wired, over the decades going all the way back to the original Microsoft serial “ball” mouse.

The M650L is comfortable to hold and use with a pleasant, quieter “click” feel than the more typical mouse, one of its advertised features. The mouse is pretty much symmetrical, making it suitable for lefties as well as righties.

There are two programmable buttons on the left side that are meant to be pressed by your thumb that are not matched on the right side, so the mouse would take a little getting used to by a left-handed person who would need to push those two buttons most likely with the pinky finger.

Another advertised feature of this mouse is that it is for “large-sized hands,” and it says this right on the package. But I have compared this mouse to the mouse I had been using, a wired mouse from a different manufacturer, and to another wireless mouse, a Logitech M705, which I keep in my laptop carry case for use when I’m using that computer.

Neither of these mice are advertised as being for large hands, and yet both are larger than the M650L. In particular, the M705 is more comfortable because it is wider by about a quarter of an inch than my wired mouse or the M650L.

It’s width that matters, not so much height or length, if a mouse is going to be comfortable to hold by a large-handed person. As far as other dimensions, my wired mouse is 1/4-inch longer and 1/8-inch taller than the M650L, so by no means would I consider this a mouse specifically designed for large hands.

It is a conventionally-sized, comfortable-to-hold mouse. A feature of the M650L that I really like and that I’ve not encountered in a wireless mouse before now is that it can connect via bluetooth. All wireless mice I’ve used before now, including the M705, use a USB dongle to communicate with the computer.

The bluetooth is so convenient that I had merely to insert the battery in the new M650L and, automatically, and without me doing anything, my desktop computer, which has bluetooth capability, found and connected to the mouse.

I was using the mouse within seconds of opening the package. Other features of this mouse include, like many mice today, programmable buttons that you can control by downloading and installing software from the manufacturer’s website.

I did this with no problems, although I must admit that I’m not traditionally a mouse-button programmer and am content to use mice the way the have most traditionally been used, with left-click and right-click buttons and a scroll wheel.

As I said at the outset, this is a very nice mouse, and I can see it serving me well for a long time to come.

There are a variety of computer mice available to choose from, with many versions of the features offered on this mouse. As an engineer with heavy mouse use due to thousands of clicks weekly while creating complex 3-D designs, the feature I find most unique here is the focus on overall size.

Like many of us, I’ve experienced the pain of Carpal Tunnel injury in my wrist and hands. I have relatively large hands and working the many side buttons and moving the mouse around, I had to hold my handing a very unnatural cupped position.

With my natural tendency to fiddle with mechanical designs to solve problems, I wound up carving and epoxying curved pieces of wood to a mouse to force my hand to open much wider to do my computer work.

I found that switching between several sizes of mice I created, kept my hand from cramping. I must admit though that my hand glued mice were UGLY to the point I would hide them away in a drawer when a client sat with me.

I was impressed with the larger size of the Logitech M650 L (“L” for Large) Wireless Mouse. It now replaces one of my handmade creations. I rotate using the different sizes and shapes every day or so to give my hand some variety.

Personally I would like to see Logitech create an XXL model with all of the same features to let my hand really stretch out. Features: The M650 can connect to the computer via Bluetooth directly with no USB dongle, if your PC has its own Bluetooth transmitter.

If not, the mouse has a removable Bluetooth dongle stored in its battery compartment that you can remove and plug into one of the computer’s USB ports. The contoured shape, rubber side grips and soft thumb area add to comfort during extended use.

The customizable side buttons can be programmed (using Logitech downloadable software) for shortcuts like copy/paste etc. By pressing down, the scroll wheel can be changed from super-fast scrolling to line-by-line precision.

Customizable CONS: Out of the box, the curser movement on the screen is too fast for my taste even when set to slow on the Windows mouse settings page. However, there is downloadable software at an address listed on the packaging.

I strongly suggest taking the extra step of downloading and installing that Logitec app “Logi-Options +” onto your computer for much more effective control and full use of the features of this mouse.

Conclusion: A very good mid-range Mouse with a unique sizing option that might help those with larger hands.

Mouse is good, software is not. Like other Win10 software (so not unique to Logitech), the installation of the Logitech software does not play nicely with multiple users on one machine. Logitech, however, has the means to address this.

The software installer should be installed via an Admin account (or with Admin permissions), and then users should be asked for which users on the machine the software should be accessible. Each Windows user should have their own profile and settings for the mouse.

(Side note: software packages and settings differences per user on Win7 and before were so much easier to handle — and both Microsoft and Logitech share responsibility for the recent poor implementation.

) For this program, as an example, settings are set per machine, per mouse, not per user. Also, there’s clearly a bug: I checked for updates while logged into my Admin account, and Logitech’s software said “All Good”.

Switched to another user account, and Logitech software reported that I needed to upgrade! The upgrade then crashed. ) Bottom line: Logitech developers need to get on the phone with Microsoft, and they together need to figure out how to fix the software installation and use across user accounts.

(And again, to be fair, other developers need to do the same thing with Microsoft — Microsoft *really* messed up cross-user software implementation after Win7. ).

My preference, trackballs, are great for stationary workspaces but they unfortunately provide diminishing returns as they decrease in size (the bigger and heavier they are, the more accurate) so I grabbed the MX Anywhere 3 for working on the go.

I can safely say I am more than satisfied with this invaluable part of my mobile workspace. It can withstand my toddler son and his proclivity to imitate Newton using my mouse in lieu of an apple. It charges with USB-C, so no battery hunting or having to play “rotate the micro USB cable” as we all suffered through during the dark times.

And, despite it meaning absolutely nothing functionally, as someone whose daily driver is Linux with occasional Chrome OS I really appreciated the compatibility label on the box stating Linux and Chrome OS functionality implicitly.

It was nice for Logitech to take the time to say, “Hello, lover of the free and open source. Take this mouse and venture forth. ” In all seriousness, this is a great mouse. It’s comfortable, durable, accurate, and the scroll wheel is like nothing else on the market.

A solid recommendation well worth the cost.

I only recently bought this mouse to use with my iPad and it works perfectly! I am super impressed with the speedy Bluetooth connection and having no need to use a dongle. I was getting sick of replacing batteries when they were all used up in my mouse, so this was the perfect replacement as it is rechargeable! The scroll wheel is phenomenal, definitely the most well designed and smooth part of the mouse.

It’s perfect for scrolling and general use. The extra buttons to undo or redo are super transferable to various programs and even just to go to the previous screen in a browser. However the mouse clickers themselves are not as smooth as my gaming mouse, as well as the ease of movement on the mousepad.

I often have to pick up the mouse in order to move my cursor to the right spot while gaming and click just a little harder than I do with my other mouse. Overall those two aspects are less comfortable.

Pros: Great scrolling wheel with other features such as changing the scrolling type and undo/redo buttons for PC’s. Works well with many different products and is recharable. Easy Bluetooth connection.

Portable. Cons: Experiences with moving the mouse and using the mouse clickers is not very smooth compared to my other logitech mouse (the G305). Better suited to using with Macs or general use with browsers or documents.

I was originally getting this because I needed a mouse that would fit my hands. Considering it’s Logitech, I had fairly high expectations, but my expectations have been exceeded. This mouse will probably fit comfortably in most hands, but it also has an extra programmable button that’s sitting directly below where the thumb goes.

And it gives you the option to choose between fixed and smooth scrolling with the push of a button. If you do most of your work on your computer, this is a very good option for you.

I got my first (and still functioning!) MX Master 2S when it first came out. I continue to love it. Back then it was $80-99. Now that the 3 has been released, the 2S can be had for half the price, but it’s still an amazing mouse.

While I would like to compare them side-by-side I can’t imagine the 3 being more than an iterative improvement (if that). Now is definitely the time to pick up a 2S. Tons of speed and response, a nice heavy weight, high DPI.

Tons of accuracy, response, and intuitive feedback. The ratcheting lock/free scroll is genius. Works great for productivity and gaming. Rechargeable AND it continues to work WHILE it’s charging. There’s really no downside and now for a much cheaper price.

This is not the cheapest wireless mouse out there but its quality feel, perfect weight and flawless performance make it ideal for the demanding field of the creation of CGI art and animation. The worst thing about a mouse is one that is too light and therefore difficult to control accurately.

The Logitech MX 2 could be a tad heavier, but it’s so close to being on the spot I can’t really complain. I’m very satisfied.

I have been using the MX series anywhere wireless mice since 2008 with great satisfaction. The pointer unit I received this time is similar to the others and the setup to get this unit working using a XPS13 laptop with WIN 10 was as simple as plugging in the USB receiver, turn on the mouse and start working! This unit is compact, sensitive and can be used anywhere so for me it continues to make a great travel companion with my laptop.

This device provides precision pointing for busy spreadsheets, CAD drawings, and for on the road gamer’s. I leave my unit turned on 24/7 and with this kind of abuse battery replacement is needed every 45 to 60 days.

The MX has had problems with the left selector button. The issues that I have personally encountered personally with these devices are when you click on a specific item you get a double click response and the other issue is the selector button becomes less responsive then finally stops working.

Both issues were fixable using videos available on the internet.

Loved the MX-Anywhere Mouse, despite their well-known mouse button failures, because that series had the perfect balance of size, weight and hand-feel. This current model has two nice new benefits and two definite flaws.

The positive is it’s ability to charge via Mini-USB cable instead of depending on AA batteries, and Bluetooth connectivity with fast switching between three devices. It’s great to be able to charge the mouse occasionally and not buy batteries, and the device switching is usually (though not always) quick and successful.

The drawbacks are twofold. First, the mouse, lacking batteries, weighs half as much, making it more skittish as you move across the pad, and for some reason the mouse buttons travel a shorter distance when you click, so feedback is not as strong.

So, it’s got better charge life with no consumables, you don’t need the small USB receiver to connect, and it works seamlessly with up to three computers or other devices. But, it feels cheaper, and doesn’t provide good feedback when clicking.

And it’s more expensive. I prefer the previous version (which is still sold).

Bought this around a week ago. This trackball works well: ball moves smoothly, buttons are responsive and solid, and the scroll wheel is not too ratchety to impede smooth scrolling (no free-spin mode though).

The whole unit seems to be solidly built. It has a solid metal base held in place my strong magnets. When changing mouse/orientation angles, I recommend placing the unit on your work surface and press on the left or right edge while your hand is holding it normally.

Having used a traditional mouse for years, it took a little time to get used to this unit; not used to finely manipulating things, my (anyone’s) thumb is naturally unstable, but practice should help with that.

I find playing card solitaire and Mahjongg Titans helps as an exercise. Yes; your index, middle and ring fingers would have more natural control, but I’ve used that style of trackball years ago, and I can remember trying keep my fingers off the ball for long periods of time to be tiring (especially if I’m doing a stressful task).

As for functionality, there is technically only five buttons; left, right, page-forward, page-backward, and the wheel serving as the middle button. However, the software program, “Logitech Options,” (downloaded separately) allows you to program all five plus one more for other things, so you actually have six customizeable buttons.

The sixth button is defaulted to “precision mode” for the track ball, but it’s not adjustable and is fixed on really fine-tune movements. However(2), in the settings, it can be switched to “trackball sensitivity” (yes; it is a separate custom option) that allows you to adjust two different sensitivity modes.

Lastly as a bonus plus, it is not immediately obvious, but there is a small diagram what comes with the included documents that actually shows how the unit can be dismantled with just six screws. It is part of the warning that Logitech verified batteries should be used for replacement.

This is great since despite being a lithium rechargeable battery pack, it looks to be a standard form I’ve seen sold–and even rechargeable lithiums don’t last forever. But this is more advantageous because this also means I (or anyone) can take apart the mouse for more thorough cleaning if needed.

In the past with every mouse I’ve ever owned, there always come a time when I wished I could take apart the mouse so I can clean the nooks and crannies I can’t reach like the sides of the scroll wheel.

Comfortable for long periods of use with easy adjustment using removable magnetic base plate at 0 to 20 degrees angle. DO NOT loose the base plate or the mouse becomes almost unstable and difficult to use on a surface.

Easy to switch between laptop and DVR, very useful that unifying dongle works in DVR. The enhanced movement button for slow sensitive controlled cursor is good feature. Had a Logitech wired trackball which gave up after 15 years use and now this Ergo MX appears to be a contender for longevity, time will tell.

Only gripe is the left and right buttons either side of the wheel are flush and can loose position on the right button occasionally. The old wired trackball had slight grooves so the fingers rested comfortable in each button but that’s not a deal breaker.

Overall excellent tool. 3-7-2019 3 years later and still working. 1st fault has occurred, the plastic non-slip cover on the bottom of the removable/adjustable base plate has peeled off. A can of spray glue has been bought to fix it back on and it is now drying.

It will be interesting to see if this repair works and the plastic cover stays on.

I ended up buying this mouse a few years ago after my old one unfortunately took a bath. If you need a mouse for everyday use it works just fine so I’d give it a 4 stars for that. Factoring in a touchy on/off switch that would sometimes stick in the off position, a very cheep feel as one, and some minor glitches.

Nothing that I wouldn’t expect for a cheep mouse. However I do a lot with photo editing and I’d find that it would cause my curser to wiggle a little bit when doing careful editing no matter what surface it was on.

I couldn’t draw even a semi straight line with it if I wanted to but my old mouse which was twice the price of this could. More recently it is starting to just drop connection for half seconds while using it 1 meter from the receiver too which has been rough.

So for more delicate applications like editing and drafting I would recommend getting a better mouse unless you are willing to live with its quirks for the time being. In which I give it 3 stars Overall, it has done well for the price for a few years, but the mouse wheel has finally stopped working and so I am finally ready to actually get a better mouse again.

I have two tower pcs and a laptop. I have just been upgrading all three and the mouse on one has been playing up for a few weeks, so I decided to replace it. After reading a number of reviews, I opted for the Logitec M185 wireless mouse and I am glad that I chose that option.

The mouse is very comfortable to use, is sensitive, but not too sensitive, so there is good control over its functionality. It has two buttons and a central wheel control all of which appear well engineered and produce accurate navigation and action on the screen.

Overall the mouse is perfect for my use, which is home office with the very occasional game play. I was surprised to see a Logitec mouse on sale for such a competitive price and I am so impressed with it that I am contemplating buying another to replace the mouse that I currently use on my main pc.

I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this product.

What I love about this mouse is the size; it’s on the smaller size but not teeny tiny. I also like that it has an on/off switch on the back so you can turn it off to save the battery. I have also found that the wireless connection works great.

I have 3 of these now. My first one came in a combo pack with my keyboard that I purchased over a year ago when I began working remotely from home; it is still working great. My daughters, age 5 & 8, are virtual schooling and found the standard mouse to be too big for their hands.

So I purchased 2 more the beginning of this school year and they work great for them being it’s on the smaller size. And since it’s wireless I don’t have to worry about idle/distracted hands messing with the cord.

Just need a free USB port for the connection.

I have had this mouse since mid-February 2020 and I love the buttons it has, the feel, and how it worked in the beginning. BUT, in the last few weeks, the mouse has become more and more slow to respond, sometimes freezing up altogether.

I have check drivers, changed batteries, moved the fob to a closer location (using a good USB extension cord) and changed USB ports for the fob. I’ve even done a computer re-build with a new case, new CPU and mobo, and a new M2 SSD.

I have done all the standard troubleshooting and then some – even changed mouse pads, in case the old one was too dirty or whatever. The pad is a plain, solid black – standard, boring mouse pad, so it isn’t a design interference problem.

No, it just cuts out, lags, or loses signal every few minutes. The mouse still looks great, hasn’t been dropped or gotten wet. I’m a 50 year old computer nerd and take decent care of my stuff. There is no acceptable reason for this mouse to be behaving this way.

This is troubling because, a) I like the mouse when it works and b) no one should build a product that lasts less than 6 months. My last mouse lasted years (4-6). Very disappointed by this. I had such high hopes.

UPDATE: The mouse limped along for another couple of weeks and as of today (07/14/2020) is totally dead. Nothing – fresh batteries and all. Lowered it to 2 stars because it really should have lasted longer – this wasn’t a $10 mouse, but it also wasn’t a $70 mouse so a couple stars for features and feel.

Work on longevity, Kensington, and I’ll consider you again. Meanwhile, back to Logitech.

I don’t think I like any modern mouses that are inexpensive. somehow when I’m using the cursor it depresses the left mouse button and drag stuff around when I don’t want it to I had to put a piece of material and tape it to the top to keep my fingers away from the button maybe I’m heavy-handed but maybe I just have big hands I don’t know.

I don’t want to spend $100 on a mouse so far they don’t have one with a large grip that works for me. so this is just average.

The tracking isn’t great despite the receiver is within 1m away. I have tried reconnecting, changing the batteries, plugging the receiver into another USB port but none of these helped. The rubber padding on the left started coming off.

It wasn’t glued down, it was attached with a sticky film that’s obviously not sticky enough. I tried glueing it but didn’t help. The only plus was that it was comfortable in my hand. I am a lady with small hands.

I had another model Logitech mouse that I used for years, without trouble. When it wore out, I wanted to replace it with another Logitech mouse. I opted for this one. Unfortunately, I had very poor results with it, particularly with two programs that require a great deal of mouse input.

The screen would zoom erratically. Logitech support seems to be available only when it is very late at night in the US, and the support team winds up communicating via email. Their emails demonstrate that they don’t bother to read what I sent them.

After a couple of days of back and forth, they decided the mouse must be defective, and shipped me another mouse, same model, different color. It did exactly the same thing. Support team continued to be useless, and I tried reaching out on Logitech’s Community forum.

It took a couple of days to get a response from them there, but they had little to say other than “Thank you for reaching out. Our support team is reviewing your issue and will get back to you shortly.

(That usually means in a couple of days. ) Then, support team emails and asks what OS I am using, information I had ALREADY given them at least twice. I use Windows 7, 64 bit. They replied that the mouse requires at least Windows 10, and told me to upgrade my OS.

(I told them I don’t consider Windows 10 and upgrade, but a nightmare, I tried it and switched back to Windows 7, which works well. ) I sent them a link to their own product page, with quotes stating that it works with “most Windows,” and “works with Windows 7.

” Two days later, they conceded that the mouse does indeed work with Windows 7. Sure. but I reminded them that it doesn’t work with two of the programs I use most frequently, both of which are up to date.

Eventually, they just stopped responding, so I told the Community forum to forget about it; I found my own solution. I traded the mouse for an Amazon mouse. The owner of the Amazon mouse doesn’t use either of those two programs, so the Logitech mouse works fine for him.

And his Amazon mouse has no trouble at all with my software.

I want to give it a 5*, as I’ve happily used this in the past for years without issue. However the newer one I received has a flaw, and I’m not sure if it’s just the build of it, or if it’s defected, as it’s easy to miss until you’ve been using it for a while.

The logitech logo on the backside doesn’t sit flush with the rest of the mouse, which I believe it should since the left side is smooth and has no issue, but the right side of it has the tiniest little annoying plastic bit from the corner rubbing up against my hand.

I’ve had this for about a month now, and it’s really starting to irritate and tug on my skin. I wish I noticed sooner, but hopefully I’m still within the return period. Really hoping it’s just a defected item because this really is a great product as far as usability goes, and I’d hate to have to hunt for a new one.

As for the pros, I have smaller hands and larger mice cramp up my palm when using them, which is why I love the m325 as it’s very compact, functions smoothly without stutter, and as stated before, has previously lasted me a handful of years.

The software is also super straightforward and will ask outright if you want the mouse in left-handed or right-handed mode. I think they’ve kept the same model throughout the years because it works so well, and I hope they continue to do so, as long as the build retains its previous quality.

The newer M325 mouse lacks the smooth operation of an older M325. The lightweight of the mouse and the smoothness of the feet keeps the M325 moving on a desktop effortless. The scroll wheel works not as smooth as the earlier models; and the scroll wheels east and west movement feels like it has too much of a detent, or resistance/tension.

The programming works flawlessly in accordance with whatever ser settings are programmed on Logitech’s Setpoint software. With all this, I’d still buy it again. It’s the best mouse I’ve tried in the past 10 years.

Logitech had the perfect mouse, however, because of substandard manufacturing or components, this latest iteration is fair at best, but don’t expect the M325 you may bought years ago.

I used to recommend this mouse, but now I recommend looking for something other than Logitech. I had two of these wireless mice (one of another model) where the inferred light sensor starts to get weak after a few years of use, resulting in poor tracking and the cursor moving much slower than it should.

Cleaning the sensor with compressed air and replacing the batteries did not help improve tracking, so I decided to buy a new one. While the new one was an improvement, the precision of the cursor is very poor.

Moving the mouse slowly results in very little movement of the cursor, making it difficult to precisely hoover/move the cursor in a particular spot. Moving the mouse a little bit faster sends the cursor flying across to the other end of the screen.

Changing the mouse settings in the Windows control panel and later Logitech SetPoint did not yield in any improvement. The scroll wheel is also atrocious as well. It’s too sensitive and has too much play in it.

I can’t remember how many times I’d be scrolling or zooming and all of a sudden it would briefly change direction because my finger barely brushed over the top of the wheel while reaching for the other end.

Also, even though the wheel is “clicked” into place, gently rocking it back and forth without it clicking over will sometimes cause scroll to activate and shimmy whatever is on the the screen. The unifying receiver is about the only thing good about these mice, due to its compact size and the ability to pair other Logitech devices.

Great for portable systems. Unfortunately, no one else makes a receiver similar to this, which was the reason why I decided to go with a Logitech mouse again and not with someone else. I use a single receiver along with a Logitech K750 keyboard, also starting to present problems as well, and it’s very convenient.

Otherwise, Logitech’s QC needs to be stepped up drastically. An OEM optical mouse tracks and scrolls better, where the M510 operates like an old fashion ball mouse with debris built up on the rollers.

I purchased the kit with the K350 keyboard and the M510 mouse about a year ago. Best Buy said it would work on a Chromebook minus some of the speciality keys. For the first 6 months it worked great. Then the mouse started sticking then jumping and the keyboard did nothing when typing then a string of letters would appear.

Called tech support, told them I was using it on a Chromebook and what it was doing and they replaced it with another set. This set worked fine for 3 or 4 months then started doing the same thing. Called again, told them it was being used on a Chromebook, and they replaced just the keyboard this time.

That was yesterday. Got it hooked up and it was working great last night, both the old mouse and the new keyboard. This morning I replied to an email just fine and the next one it quit working again.

Called again, this time after a lengthy conversation and trying several things she informed me that the problem was this keyboard and mouse don’t support Chrome. Okay, then why did they work? Well, there must have been an update to the Chromebook.

Okay, but there were no updates to it between last night and this morning. No real answer, just that it won’t work and I need to get a different mouse and keyboard. Before blowing more money I thought I’d look into it a bit.

I honestly haven’t gotten to the keyboard yet but, this website in comparing it to the M720 state that compatibility is only macOS, Windows but up above under Plug and Play Simplicity it states Plus, it’s a certified Works with Chromebooks™ product.

So, which is it? No wonder the mouse and the tech are confused. This is the company web site and it’s confused. Right now I’m typing this with the new keyboard as it will work then stop and the mouse is working as well.

I’ve used Logitech products for over a decade and always been happy but this has been a pain. The low score at this point is shared by the product and the company.

I tried the g pro wireless and I tried liking it, I really did. I tried using it for 2 months straight and just went straight back to the g303, because the g303 is just better. I myself have tried nearly every Logitech mouse there is since early 2000 as well as numerous top gaming mice from other brands since then and I can wholeheartedly say that there is no mouse currently that can compete with the g303 in terms of just shape, clickfeel, mousefeet or bottom of the mouse, aesthetics in terms of how the mouse looks but also just the amazing honeycomb light pattern on the sides, and just overall design.

Out of all of the mice I have tried in my life, the g303 is one of the best fitting and comfortable mice that I have ever used, period. when I grip this mouse, it just feels like a glove for my hand and I have mediumsized hands.

When you grip this mouse, it kind of leaves your hand in 1 position, which is good because it improves accuracy and doesnt make your fingers or your hand slip off of the mouse. The keys on this mouse are soo good as they are very easily clickable, but not too sensitive either.

I love the RGB honeycomb pattern on the sides, which I have set to slow cycling effect. I love its simplistic design as I do not like too many unnecessary buttons and even lefthanded people love this mouse as well as it is almost ambidextrous.

I love how light the mouse is and the fact that it is not too tall so my hand always feels comfortable and doesnt get tired from long hours of usage. The sensor on this mouse is so responsive and accurate that it literally feels like I have an extra hand.

Also, the software that Logitech provides for free with this mouse allows you to autotune your surface to the mouse, whether it be a hard or soft surface, which makes your mouse even slightly more accurate.

Lastly, the 6 pads on the bottom of the mouse bottom surface are very nice as well since they provide good balance and it feels like butter when you slide this mouse across your mouse pad. None of the current Logitech mice have mouse feet on the bottom of their mice that are as good as the g303 mouse feet in my opinion.

Some might say they hate the shape, but I love it personally and have seen tons of reviews on youtube and online in general where people praise the shape, especially people who have smaller to mediumsized hands.

All of the current mice that Logitech has seem to be designed for larger hands in general and not many mice at all available from Logitech for smaller to mediumsized users. Also, some might say that this mouse is only popular due to some streamers using it exclusively, but I dont think this is the case either.

I myself was not aware that some other people got this mouse only due to some streamers using it because I myself tried the g303 when it first came out to see if it was any good and I immediately loved everything about this mouse and still do.

It almost feels as if Logitech designed the perfect mouse in terms of shape, comfort, perfect bottom mouse feet, perfect aesthetics in terms of the honeycomb rgb pattern on the sides, perfect design overall and then decided they should discontinue the g303 by only judging a couple of quarters of bad sales or initial negative feedbackresponse.

However, years went by and after people buying the mouse discontinued, people realized it actually really is a good mouse. Other than this, I cant understand why Logitech even discontinued this mouse in the first place unless it was an issue of massproducing it due to its high quality, but this doesnt make much sense to me either as there are more complex mice they have made that are still in production.

Literally, the only thing I can even think of that is bad with this mouse is the reported rattle issues on it, which was actually fixed by Logitech a year after its release. Also, the double click issue that happens on the mice after a few years of usage which can just be fixed by replacing the mouse switches anyway.

Anyway, it really is a shame that the g303 was discontinued because I can honestly say that this mouse is one of the best products that Logitech has ever put out and I really hope to see its returns one day.

The g303 needs to come back as either a rerelease for a wireless version with a better modern sensor but same design and shape OR at the least a restock. Those are my thoughts, I know some might disagree, but yes, there is still a large cult following for this mouse due to how amazing it is, just check the MouseReview or LogitechG subReddit or online in general and you will see there is still a huge demand for this mouse and its for a good reason because its an amazing mouse and needs to be released as wireless one day or at the least restocked.

This came nicely packaged, and inside theres the device, rubberized USB cable, USB dongle with adapter, extra side buttons, and instruction booklet. I have multiple Logitech mice to compare this to, G500S, G703, G603, and Anywhere Mouse MX.

Im going to be using this mouse mainly plugged in all the time so my review wont reflect battery life, how long it takes to charge, or wireless use, Ill be using this one on my main desktop computer so it will stay plugged in.

First, this G Pro is super light weighing in at 80g on my scale, the G703 is 104 116. 7 with the added weight and my G500S is at 151g with all the weights added the way I like and I prefer a heavier mouse, Fortunately the Pro does have a door on the bottom like the G703 for inserting a weight.

I was surprised that this Pro version didnt come with the weight. Luckily I have a spare from a replacement mouse and am going to add that and bring the weight up to 102g. The outside of the mouse is all matte black, nothing shiny here, although the side buttons are glossy.

Size wise this is smaller than the G703, quite a bit smaller than the G603, you can see in the picture, more of a standard or travel sized mouse, and its oriented for either right left hand use. The others are pretty much right hand only, especially the G500s and G703.

I do prefer the shape of those two over this one, they are a little more comfortable then the Pro for me, but its easy to get use to and use without any problem. The scroll wheel is firmer on the Pro than the G703, its not the weighted style of the G500S though, and I would have liked that better.

Theres no hyperfast scrolling with this one either, there isnt a button to press on this to engagedisengage that feature. Next, there are 4 buttons, 2 on each side of the mouse which can be replaced for right left hand use.

The side buttons are quite a bit narrower than the ones on my G703 and a little bit shorter. I prefer the larger buttons of the G703 myself. I have it set up for right hand, and have programmed the right side buttons to change the DPI sensitivity of the mouse.

Depending on what Im doing I do like to have the option of changing that on the fly. The G703 has a single button on the top that you can program to cycle through your presets. Im actually finding the extra programmable buttons on the side better than the single top button.

I had a habit of accidentally hitting that button because its right below the wheel, I havent accidentally hit these yet. There is a button on the bottom for changing the DPI but you have to flip the mouse over to do that and I find programming the side buttons much more convenient.

Im leaving the left hand buttons at default. I already had the Logitech gaming software loaded but had to upgrade to the latest version for it to see the Pro, but once upgraded it saw it and I was able to tweak it the way I like, including the DPI settings.

There are three little LEDs right in the middle of the mouse just below the main buttons, they cycle through depending on your DPI setting, and I really like that as I can tell what my DPI is set at easily.

You can even change the colors of those little LEDs and customize them the way you want, the same as the big G logo on the body of the mouse. They dont stay lit and shut off after a second or two, it would be nice if they would give you the option to have those on all the time as your hand is covering them up anyway.

Now as for actual use, like I mentioned before this mouse is very light, a lot lighter and any other mouse I have and for me its on the light side, they really should include the weight at this price point, they dont mention the area underneath as being able to add a weight, its simply called the USB receiver cover although the weight from the G703 fits perfectly.

The mouse itself glides very smoothly on my mouse pad, theres really no resistance. The main buttons have a nice click to them and they are a little firmer than my other mice, but that may change over time though.

The scroll wheel has a nice defined click while scrolling and its too stiff still wish it were weighted but it works very good. I played a little Fallout, Obduction and The Witcher, everything worked perfectly other than the little things I prefer on my other mice.

Using this with Win10 is pretty much the same as all the other mice I have, and it seems very accurate so far. In all this is a nice wireless mouse, although its on the expensive side. I do prefer the size and shape of my other mice but this one works really well, and if you are left handed this would be a really good option for you as you can setup and program the side buttons the way you wish.

I guess it ultimately depends on your preference. For me personally, I do enjoy using a lighter mouse since I play with pretty low sensitivity on FPS games. So if ever need to do those sudden flick shots, you wont have any problem doing that with the Logitech G Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse.

Its a mouse. It helps me to move a pointer around a screen and select some things. It does its job. Like youd hope from a mouse. Its actually really quite good, especially as mine was from ClickElectronics Warehouse and so cheaper than it should have been.

Its better than my previous Daffodil mouse, which did give up the ghost after less than a year, but Im not entirely sold on the feel of the thing. Its got a decent weight, but the buttons themselves are a little light and loose, which doesnt suit my heavy clicking style.

Yes, Im a monster, but thats just how I am. No real complaints though. Button feel holds it back from being five stars, but your mileage may vary, particularly if you have dainty little fingers or like to caress buttons rather than punish them.

I only ordered this mouse because my original Logitech did stop working for a few hours even with new battery then started again. So thought Id better have a spare. And the good thing it was a nice bright red so can see it on my grey laptop lid.

Having had no issues with my mouse for quite a few years and not a fan of the track pad I had no hesitation ordering another Logitech, they seem to be a good brand. It is slightly different to hold in shape but couple of hours use, soon got use to it and comfortable.

The wheel is smooth and clicks slightly quieter maybe, but not a concern anyway. I am using it now and have kept the old one as spare. As it does seem to last a long time I think it is good value for money.

Excellent purchase. The mouse is so simple to “set up. ” The USB adapter is concealed in the battery compartment. Just remove it and place it into a usb slot on your pic. There is a battery already supplied with the mouse.

Remove the safety tab from one end of the batter and turn it on. It will connect you automatically. Your pc and wireless mouse will now be permanently connected. Your mouse has a very useful little on off switch.

This, for me, keeps things straight forward. Turn the mouse on/off when you wish to use it. The mouse is very responsive, comfortable and a pleasure to use.

This Logitech cordless mouse works well with my new laptop. No batteries included but not a big problem. The small receiver which needs to be fitted into a USB slot on your computer might cause a problem if you don’t have a spare slot.

The Razer Viper Ultimate is all around very good. It has a flat shape most suitable for claw or fingertip grip. Palm grip may be possible but only with smaller hands. The switches are okay. They don’t provide the good feedback from a mechanical switch but aren’t mushy or bad in any way.

Side buttons arent very good and are recessed in the side but aren’t too bad. Build quality is solid, scroll wheel is good, software is decent enough, and mouse skates are fine. All in all, this mouse is solid.

I would not recommend it for the normal price of 130 usd. However on the sale it is on which brings it down to 70 usd, it is absolutely the best mouse you can get for this price range. The sheer price performance ratio on this sale that will probably last a long time because the viper v2 pro exists is incredible.

I really enjoyed this product I own the exclusive cyberpunk 2077 edition of the mouse with the dock and I gotta say it’s the best mouse I’ve ever used, the dps is insane and the switch on the bottom of the mouse makes it so easy to switch from different dps stages so you can be comfortable in any situation the side grind work perfect and the charging dock just syncs right with your mouse as soon as you put it on it.

The mound perfectly slides right onto the charging dock and has a very small magnetic field that holds the mouse to the dock. The power cable has a slot built into the charging doc perfect with a rail to make sure it goes in perfectly every time for a perfect connection and prevents any major damage and the same is included with the mouse itself if you don’t have the charging dock and need to charge via mouse itself or just want to go wired mouse.

The buttons are smooth and can be clicked very accurately and very fast. I was a little disappointed there is only one chroma light which is the razer logo but still it’s sick and the lighting is very bright and works wonderful and backed with a 2 year warranty you know you will get your moneys worth and if it breaks somehow before two years is up get a replacement.

But I’m sure imma have this mouse for more than 10 years. This is a great product and I’m very satisfied with my purchase especially with this custom mouse it just looks sick🤟 And this mouse lasts me around 45-70 hours even though is says 70+ hour battery life it’s felt like it’s dying a little faster for me I’ve never times it but it does last me around 2 days maybe two and a half then I have to recharge but ? It doesn’t feel like 70 hour battery life to me but don’t hold me on that I’ve never actually times the battery life on my mouse and obviously it’s gonna die faster depending on usage and I use mine a lot.

So that’s also something to consider but when I do charge it back up it charges from 0-100% within an hour that’s incredible and really satisfies me with my purchase as the item can withstand 50-70 hours of usage before being charged but charges to full with in one hour to be used again for another 50-70 hours? That’s a good mouse especially with all the other factors.

I expect it to not be as great or work as well in a few years maybe 5 years but still it will have lived it’s purpose and served it’s use it’s a great mouse and worth the money and I take good case of it every day so I’m sure this will last me me than 10 years.

Only this that saddens me is there are no transparent viper ultimate or mini viper tape grips only black. If they had transparent grips so I could still see the skin of my mouse and have that grip I’d invest in them but for now I won’t cause it takes to much away from the look and cosmetics of my mouse which is the main reason I bought that version of the viper ultimate.

If there was a transparent grip it would work great with my mouse and the cosmetics of my mouse and not to hide them. It glides accurately and tracks nice this product has not been out for 7-8 years.

This mouse has unusually-looking but very comfortable hand-fitting design. The most I like in this mouse is its comfort for the hand – seems impossible to get that better. All buttons are soft enough for smooth handling yet – not hyper-sensitive.

It may be a too power-consuming for one NiCa battery to handle all day work – so, it definitely requires a good-quality battery and overnight-charge plugin. I did not test it is it is possible to work with Li-ion battery (it is designed for NiCa one); however it is no problem to accommodate it with Li-ion battery if external charger is used with at least 2 batteries for a quick-exchange approach.

The Down Sides: I will definitely NOT recommend this mouse for graphic design users. It does not provide enough movement resolution sensitivity; I like much more the handling of my 20 years-old Logitech mouse-man with a trackball.

Even under MS Word environment at high screen resolution is suffers some deficiencies in long-time usage. There is also some lack of precision in the scroll-button operation. on my mouse it has some tendency over-sensitivity – meaning that instead of stopping the scroll on the screen after the stop of the finger, it moves the screen a step back or a step front.

And after a month of usage, I thing this is not due to thelack of handling-adjustment (a human factor). FINAL Conclusion: The hand comfort-ability factor on this mouse is excellent. The deficiency of precision/sensitivity in both the laser movement-sensor and the scroll button will make a long-term usage rather a frustrating experience that totally diminishes the handling comfort.

This is a perfect example of excellent design work butchered to some extend by deficient electronic engineering. However, this may be an excellent product for average computer users.

This Logitech Performance MX Wireless Mouse is the best and, apparently, the last of its breed. The new MX mice are junk and missing key feature like acceleration and the one button double click function.

I bought this one and one other as the last 2 NOS units I could find. I hope Logitec decides to make them again sometime it the future, If they don’t at least I have 10-15 years to find a replacement [I have gotten 7 years each out of the last 2 I purchased].

If you want a truly great mouse, go find one of these for yourself.

Damn okay, my stupid tech ex gave me this mouse saying it was the best blah blah. I hated everything he gave me because it was all stuff he wanted but this? Okay. So I have a really bad tendon disease that affects my wrist.

This mouse is light, a little bottom heavy for great momentum. The recharge is the best because even with the special AA battery you almost never have to change it. The ergonomics of it are so comfy.

Not an obnoxious gaming mouse that has 100 buttons but also has enough within reach of your fingers to get a bunch done. The newer models are heavy and seem less comfortable compared to this one which is why I sought it out.

Also the unifying receiver works with any Bluetooth mouse from what I heard so if my mouse stopped working I could get one without a dongle and use the one I have. Worth it. Also birds love chewing the soft plastic part so be careful.

I would recommend going to the store to see if they have it out on display so you can get an idea if you will like it or not. I may be picky, but the scrolling experience is subpar regardless. Every time I scroll, there is a slight delay.

What also is a bummer is every time I scroll down, it will go up a line and back down, creating a jittering effect. I thought I might have just gotten a lemon, but I have seen other users have this same experience.

I might try the Master instead of the Anywhere but not been impressed with Logitech lately.
