20 Best Long Lasting Wax Melts (2023 Updated)

My family enjoys the aroma thru-out our home, especially in the bathroom. I use a warmer and each square can be reused for a couple of days or more. The price for continual use is economical in that it’s well fragranced and last so long.

I look for them with each shopping trip even if I go in to purchase something else.

This fragrance is sweet but light. It smells wonderful. I love it. Sweepstakes!

I loved the smell of the wax melts so I purchased them! They smell good while they are melting but once they’ve melted completely, they don’t really smell as good.

This wax melt is amazing! there’s 3 types of wax melts. 1. where you can’t smell it at all. 2 you can only smell it when you walk in the room and 3. you can smell it whilst your in the room. this wax melt definetley comes under number 3! it’s strong but not over powering, I love it, it’s one of the best wax melts I’ve bought and it’s such a good price 3 for £5.

I will definetley be buying this again 🙂 the smell is also gorgeous.

I buy a lot of wax melts by a lot of different brands, and scentsationals is one I purchase from pretty often. And Magic Spell is one of my absolute favorites-it smells juuust like Love Spell by Victoria’s Secret.

It’s floral, but sexy smelling. [brand:scentsationals] always hits it out of the park with their scents, and this one is NO different. [brand:scentsationals].

Bough the wax on a whim. Went home and put two pieces into my warmer. Within a few mins my apt smelt amazing! I wish I would have read reviews because two was too much for my apt. The scent is strong but wonderful! My place is about 900 sq ft and you could smell the scent through out.

I’m used to using scentsy cubes and the smell not being hardly noticeable, using two cubes at once and having to replace The wax Almost daily. The smell of the unstopables melts last more then one day and it’s strong enough to use only one.

My place smells like fresh laundry, I love it! I’m switching, not going to purchase scentsy anymore.

Everyone’s reviews says how strong it is but that’s not the case for me. I put in just one and waited an hour. No scent. I put in a second and waited an hour. I still couldn’t smell anything. I finally put in a third and within 30 min I could finally smell it.

It’s a great scent but it’s very light. I’m pregnant and very sensitive to scents so I was expecting to be overwhelmed by it like all the other reviewers said. Nope. We have a smaller house and I can only just barely smell it in the one room that it’s in.

Other wax I have used has made the whole house smell good. I probably won’t buy again.

I was lucky enough to come across the “Fresh” scent of the Febreze Unstoppables Wax Melts when I went shopping at my local Walmart today, because the package I ended up getting was the very last one available in either scent.

Although the “Shimmer” scent is probably more up my alley, this particular one had an absolutely delicious smell to it. Never was the scent too overpowering like many of the alternative wax melts available on the market tend to be, and it filled my apartment with the smell of fresh meadows by the time it had finished melting.

If you are a fan of Febreze products and use their products for others areas of your household, then you will certainly find yourself falling in love with these wax melts like I have just done. To make matters even better, they provide you with 8 total wax melts that are such a unique shape and size and they last for hours.

I’ve had to cut down on my sugar intake. I LOVE chocolate deserts and very much addicted to sugar. When I crave sugar, I’ll put this in my wax burner and literally overdose on it over the course of a day, sometimes two until my craving go away lol.

It is so strong and literally fills my senses as if I just really ate Brownie Pecan Pie. I will burn it until I’m satisfied and the cravings have pass. It works!.

wow what a powerful punch! This sweet-smelling wax melt is amazing! Every time I turn it on my kids come out and ask what I’m baking. The smell is very strong but not overwhelming. It lasts a long time.

I’m so glad I checked out Yankee Candle website. It’s my first time buying online and I loved the great sale last week. We stocked up on this Midsummer’s Night scent. It’s our #1. It smells sooo good.

Brings back memories of me and my husband’s early years of dating. It’s so musky, warm, and feels like love is hugging our home. Everyone who comes over compliments that it smells soo good. It makes you feel calm, cozy, and relaxed.

It makes everyone want to nap, lol. Those who end up dozing off in our living have the best snooze ever lol. I love the mini sizes it’s perfect for cups I got on amazon. The scent lasts a long time. One lasts almost a week for us.

I have it burning for like 4 hours a day. When warmer is turned off the scent still lingers awhile. Thank you Yankee for this beautiful scent!!! <3.

This has been bequeathed the best smell in my world!! Yankee Candle has some amazing scents but I smelled this and bought the spray and candles and car air freshener just because I love it soo much. The price is reasonable in my opinion and now the have a moonlit night that smells almost the same.

You won’t be disappointed.

I thought with these being Yankee Candle, they would omit more of a pronounced smell when warmed, but sadly they missed the mark. I usually get the Better Homes and Gardens brand and have loved them, was very disappointed after getting this and spending more money on them to not have the scent I expected.

Will go back to Better Homes and Gardens brand.

I love anything and everything pumpkin scented so I couldn’t wait to try these wax melts. When first putting them in our wax burner, you can smell it really well but unfortunately the scent don’t last well at all.

Usually I can re-use the wax in my melter for a few days when I shut it off / on. Not with these I had to refill them each time. Great scent, but wish it would last longer than it does.

I figured $2 was worth a try. Sure did waste those $2. Outlook looks good when you open the container. a nice cinnamon and clove combo but that is where the scent ends. in the package. Had it in my wax burner several hours and not once did anyone smell anything.

Until this one. It smells like super heated Fireballs that’s been soaked in liquid Allspice. If you’re looking for a festive, kind of spicy scent, pick up their pumpkin woods line!.

I never thought I’d like a fragrance called Wood Smoke. It’s not something that generally appeals to me. However, being able to smell wood smoke without all the actual smoke made it work. It really does smell like the fireplace is going.

Which is rather soothing on these now cold nights. My best friend would absolutely love this smell. The wax itself is very high quality. It melted very quickly and continues to permeate a very powerful fragrance use after use.

I’ve used it several times and am still getting plenty of enjoyment out of one little block.

I am a sucker for the smell of a fresh cut Christmas tree, but generally find the items on the market to have so many other scents mixed in that it doesn’t smell just right. I was ecstatic when I came across these 3oz Wax Melts in Frasier Fir.

These smelled just like the Christmas tree I had at home. This made the room smell like I had a field of Frasier Firs growing in my family room. I have these in the wax warmer from the time I wake up until I go to bed.

The smell brings me back to when I was a little girl and makes me so happy. I will always have plenty of these on hand for the holidays. If you love for your house to smell like a fir tree this time of year run out and buy some of these.

The only con is that I wish I could also find this in candle form!!.

WoodWick Wax Melts in Wood Smoke Scent is a very peaceful, soothing,, and relaxing fragrance. Anyone who has ever had a wood burning stove or fireplace will instantly recognize the delightful scent. It doesn’t smell like smoke, but the scent of a burning fire.

The wax cubes are larger than most wax melt cubes. They are soft and melt quickly. The fragrance will last for days. I’m on day 3 with one melt in my warmer and it I’d still freshening our living room.

I expect quality from WoodWick and they are definitely high quality wax melts with high performance fragrance.

These wax melts smell so nice! They have great throw that last a pretty long time. And in my opinion The scent is not overwhelming which is great. I would definitely get these again

This smells amazing. There is a sweet after smell mixed with the fir. I purchased the plastic Reusable Wax Warmer Liner in regular and large and I can melt all day long with no mess. I purchased my first warmer from Candle Warmer from another site and then I decided to look up the company online.

I love the melts and the warmer. Fast shipping and the products are amazing. I will be purchasing again.

I’m an older woman in Northern California who loves the balsam fir scent because it brings up memories of walks in the woods on a crisp, sunny day and ordered extras online so I can enjoy it after the holidays.

I have an open plan kitchen, dining area and living room so I use a couple of candle warmers. One warmer has the perfect throw for other rooms.

So far everything i have bought that was supposed to be gardenia smells great, just not like Gardenia. I purposely bought the “OOPS” (messed up) wax melts from shorties so I could check them out without spending a whole lot.

I bought 2 big bags, 1 Gardenia 1 jasmine and 1 oops reg. size honeysuckle wax melts. I HAVE FOUND MY NEW GARDENIA!!! I really can’t tell you how the jasmine and honeysuckle smell because the gardenia is so strong since they were all in the same box they all smell like gardenia!!!! They say that shorties brand last longer and the smell is strong than Yankee candles.

we will see. since I had covid in July my sense of smell has not came back at all hardly. maybe 25% if that but i have no problems with the gardenia melts. My niece could smell them outside with the front door closed.

▪️I couldn’t find the correct candle on here but there’s my picture to show you what it is. It’s from the Lavender Glow Company and it’s a hand-poured soy candle called Lavender Glow. It was gifted this awesome candle from Gifley and The Lavender Company 💜 It smells great, exactly as you would imagine the lavender scent.

I really like this candle and I would definitely repurchase ▪️.

I wanted a strong peppermint smell as promised! If I put my nose over the melted wax I kind of could tell it was peppermint. Why promise a high fragrance load when it’s not. We aren’t stupid. I am not sure exactly what it smells like.

It’s a faint floral smell maybe.

I bought some wax melts in the bahama breeze scent when another scent I loved was no longer available and now it is my favorite scent. I have the scent plug refills and candles in this scent too. What a lovely fragrance it gives my whole house.

This has such a great smell, I bought this at walmart for about $4 not a bad price for 6 melts. I use wax melts more than any type of air freshener. I love many of their scents but this is one of my favorites.

This candle reminds me of walking in the crisp fall air in Vermont with my Daddy as a child many years ago when he was stationed in the Air Force when I was little We used to walk in this huge park and throw the beautiful leaves at each other Orange, Brown Many fall colors and Beautiful! This wax is scrumptious. It smells like everything you want in an Autumn fragrance! It’s soft, yet strong, and not overly sweet. Apples, cinnamon, pumpkins, chilly air. all rolled into one. Ordering more immediately.

The yankee candle 3 oz. Wax Melt – white teak is a great scent. It wasn’t overpowering and very nice. I feel like Yankee Candle wax melts lasts much longer than most store bought wax melts. The wax cubes are decent sized and I feel the quality is good.

I felt no complaints with this wax melt.

I recently got a wax warmer for my bathroom and easily have over 20 scents, but this is one of my all-time favorites. I can’t really describe the smell but it’s so amazing. It fills my entire bathroom and one small block is plenty for my warmer.

I bought these in scent Watermelon lemonade. They have a. Nice scent throw and true to the scent. They do not smell like artificial fruit or chemicals. Id recommend highly. Scent is also long lasting.

Very much more vanilla than lime sadly. If they increased the amount of lime it would be perfect. Very rarely did I catch a whiff of the lime and 90 percent of the scent throw for me was vanilla which I’m not a fan off.

Could have been great but just wasn’t.

I bought the vanilla lime wax melts because I love the scent plugs which fill my living room with a wonderful smell, however the wax melts were very disappointing, there was no scent, I had to literally stand over melting wax for the slight hint of scent coming from them.

i recommend the scent plugs if you love this scent, I have ordered the jar candle and really hope this will be much better than the wax melts.

Waste of money, hardly any smell comes from them. Just like their Large Jars, Yankee Candles just don’t give out as much smell as they used to, giving up on them now.

First, I love Tyler Candle products. They have the most fragrant scented products. Always consistent. Frosted Pomegranate is my favorite and this scent is not easy to find, so stock up if you can. This fragrance perminates the entire house all day.

I LoVe Tyler Candles! Diva is my favorite scent but my second go to is Dolce Vita. It a mix of earthy fragrant deliciousness- my house smells amazing and the scent lasts for over 5 Days compared to other wax melts.

FYI, Tyler candles even has laundry detergent!!.

I’m giving this a 3 because I’ve never actually used this particular scent. That said, the Tyler scents I have used are amazing. Mediterranean Fig and Tyler are two of the best. I wish English Ivy and Plumeria came in Mixer Melts.

This is a warm slightly perfumey fabric softener scent, an authentic fabric softener scent that smells like clothes and towels straight out of the dryer. It’s not a harsh detergent scent at all. There may be a smidgen of a fruity floral note, but barely detectable, and I don’t smell citrus.

It’s a fabric softener scent but with slightly different notes from the “Fresh” scent. Clean and cozy and sweet and warm, and the most authentic fabric softener scent I’ve ever smelled in a wax melt (which makes sense since it’s made by Downy).

These are the best vanilla wax melts available on the market. Pure vanilla scent without odd flavors thrown into the mix. My students just love the smell of this in my classroom. They’ve smelled it for months and still make positive comments.

Vanilla Febreze Unstopables is not overpowering, yet provides a warm welcome. It’s homey and comforting. So hard to find though.

I love these wax melts. The very warm and true vanilla scent is simply divine. I knew the moment I saw the sleek black ensorcelled packaging it was meant for my wax melter. I really do love it, I have this one on when I know I’m gonna be in the same room so I can revel in the scent.

It has good projection.

Like the fragrance of the citrus; however, I had to use 3 squares to get enough to actually smell it. But, I am on oxygen 24/7 (anyone who has done this know how tough it is on the nasal passages), and that may be the reason I think the fragrance is weak.

I ordered this on accident thinking it was the Cedar Basalm candle and it was a happy mistake. The scent is strong and fills a room easily. Ut not overwhelming. It does smell like Christmas in a Har which is beautiful.

I bought this wax melt, along with a bunch of others, to test out some of the holiday choices. I will definitely be buying the large tumbler of Tree Farm Festival. Our house will smell great, like we are always out picking a Christmas Tree.

First of all, I love the new packaging! No more fiddling around trying to get the wax out and getting it stuck under your fingernails or it ending up broken. The scent is as close to real pine as it can get.
