20 Best Long Lasting Lip Liners (2023 Updated)

They describe the formula as buttery soft, long wearing, goes on easily and resists bleeding. All I can say is, TRUE! It’s in fact so lovely, I had to give it 5 stars! It is just a nice creamy formula that applies well on the lips, without any tugging or hard pressure.

It will never bleed, because it is thick enough and stays in place. Pigmentation is bellissima and the finish of these liners are a satin matté. They aren’t dry, like some of the other matte formulas, There is a stunning creaminess to it still, but if your lips are dry, this will pretty much look matte on you.

I only wear Mauve. Older face and my lip line is gradually fading into my face. Starting to look like one of those shriveled apple dolls, LOL. You can barely see my lips! This pencil looks natural, not invisible and not loud.

Natural. I fill in the whole lip with the pencil and cover it with every shade of lipstick from Cherry Red to Dusty Pink. If I know that I’ll be covid masked for hours I just do the pencil and some gloss.

I buy in bulk when it’s in stock.

My makeup routine consists of mascara, blush, and highlighter. lol. I thought i’d try something a little different and after trying other lip liners: this is the answer. I use the natural color, and it works amazingly with my everyday look.

It doesn’t smear, but it is easily removable at the end of the day. I don’t find myself having the reapply every time I eat or drink; it lasts pretty much all day – save an occasional time when I feel like I need it.

I just have such a hard time finding this exact one in stores near me!!!.

I work in television. I struggle to find a lip color that will 1) last a long time, 2) will stay put and not travel around my face, & 3) not require 17 steps to make it do 1) & 2). I sadly admit I followed like a lemming and used MAC.

Scrolling through Instagram, I saw Haus, before I picked up on the Lady GaGa association m, I liked the possibility that it might be easier to apply. It is. I use lip liner, the matte lip crayon, and blot.

Sometimes I’ll apply twice. No powder. It lasts and it stays where I put it. I don’t recommend using a primer. I did and it clumped in places. I can’t explain that. I’ve tried destroyer, 1950, and mannequin.

All very wearable. I’m very fair skinned with blonde hair. Challenges: 1) a little concerned the tip flattened out on destroyer; 2) low stock – I’d love to try more, but the bright pinks etc aren’t going to work for me.

More colors and have them in stock; 3) I’m wondering how quickly I’ll go through a tube and whether the tube size is on the light side.

I love how vibrant these colors are and how smoothly they go on! And they stay on pretty well! You do have to reapply here and there, and if you eat a roast beef sandwich, it will probably get messy, but I feel like Lady Gaga would support that.

For some reason I thought that the twister at the bottom, which pops off easily, was a sharpener and I tried to use it. but it’s not a sharpener. I just completely destroyed the lipstick. But when I asked customer service about it, they let me know what my mistake was and sent me a replacement! That is some stellar customer service right there.

I only give the lip crayon 4 stars because I think the longevity of the color could be improved, but this really is a great product.

I absolutely love these lip crayons!! I tried one about 1 year ago and have been using them ever since. I have tried: Influencer, Dust, Bella, Talk Dirty, Power Move, Mastered, Fire Me, 1950, & Mannequin.

My absolute favorite is Talk Dirty or Influencer because they look perfect on me!! Over the past 2-3 years I have tried MANY matte lipsticks but was often disappointed in the formula and/or how it would wear.

This matte lip product is the only one that I was 100% happy with!! It applies quickly and easily in a creamy swipe and then dries matte within a few minutes. This product was not drying and did not make my lips appear flaky like others.

You do not need to worry about this product transferring once it has dried into the matte form. The color will last all day and can then be removed with makeup remover. The thin lip crayon allows you to have control of where you are applying it which is very helpful.

The best part about this product is that it is available in many different shades!!.

As a former manager and makeup artist for a top brand cosmetic line that has been a Revlon customer for well over 20 years. I found the Colorstay line comparable but cheaper in price and loved it for many years but I have to say that when you changed your formulas that no longer rings true and unfortunately I will move on to another line.

My disappointment lies not only in the new formulas breaking, not lasting and no longer has staying power and the colors are truly just not good any longer. I have used the revlon eyeliner in every shade and loved them all for years but what I found is that when applying the liner the tips of the liner just keep breaking off, doesn’t apply smoothly nor smudge well, (the new angle smudger is awful) product no longer last, instead of my liner lasting well over a month, Im lucky to get 2 weeks.

at first I thought I just got a bad one in which it does happen but it happens to them all and I now have wasted more money for a product that doesn’t last. The lip liner shades no longer good, I’ve used nude a daily neutral and the new formula the shades dont match up and the color is now awful, and the product just breaks off so again in 2 weeks, Im ready to replace, the formulas no longer last and the shades are way off.

The eye shadow well, not pigmented again a waste. I wanted so badly to keep using for Revlon is all I’ve known and loved for so many years but unfortunately color stay no longer lives up to its name.

These days consumers cant waste their money on products they have to replace constantly, time to find another brand. Very disappointed, what happened Revlon? your products were great! Now former customer.

This is my absolute favorite lip liner out of dozens I’ve tried. It is richly pigmented, super creamy but extremely long wearing. I’ve never found another lip liner that was this creamy and stayed on the lips forever like this one does.

It doesn’t budge, even after meals it’s still there. I fill in my entire lips with it and it’s even longer wearing than a liquid lipstick without the dryness. The key to lasting power is not wearing oils or balms under it so it can really grip.

Once it does, it’s not going anywhere. If I need some moisture, I’ll add a little gloss on the center.

Really good liners for if you want something that will last all day without smudging or transferring. Are super creamy and pigmented. I don’t need to really work it into the skin to get color payoff.

These outlast a lot of the lipsticks I wear lol. I have two shades currently, Red Nude. Red, is the perfect red liner to go with bright red lipsticks or to wear underneath a gloss. Looks stunning with blue toned reds, but will also look good with warmer reds.

Nude, is a pinky brown nude. Is a shade that works well with a lot of different nude lipsticks. I pair it with beige nudes, pink nudes and brown nudes. It literally looks beautiful with every nude lipstick I own.

Pro MUA here. When it comes to products, I use high-end brands with price tags to match, along with drugstore options – both new and old. In my mind, if it works, it works – regardless of the name on the label.

That being said, this product is definitely on my list of favorites. It’s a smooth formula that glides on well without being waxy or clumpy. It’s sooo creamy that it will smudge out beautifully if you want a Smokey eye.

My favorite way to get a true smokey eye is to start from the lash line and work my way out – with the darkest, most intense pigment being on my lash liner and the lightest on the outer edges of they eye, versus doing a heavy full-lid or darkening the crease of the eyelid.

The pencil works so well for that. I apply one eye at a time so I have time to smudge it out smoothly and evenly before it sets. Once this formula sets in place, it’s THERE! It’s so rare to find a liner that is truly waterproof or even water-resistant, and this one is the closest thing you’ll find.

When you’re building a dramatic eye from the lash line or even just wearing a winged or graphic liner, it’s crucial that the liner itself stays where you put it. This formula does that. You can even use it as a base and apply powder shadows on top for more punch, but you definitely don’t NEED the powder because the liner itself is super pigmented.

It smokes out on the bottom lash line so well, and because it is truly a waterproof liner, it’s also one of the few pencils that will last on the waterline all day long. This is by-far my favorite pencil liner, and I have it in several different colors.

I highly recommend this product and keep it in both my personal and professional makeup kits. It’s worth every penny this is a “splurge” (that’s not even truly a hefty splurge) that is leaps and bounds above any dupe or other competing product.

If you’ve used and liked either the Marc Jacobs creme eye liner pencil (RIP 🪦) or the Makeup Forever Aqua Resist Color Pencil eyeliner, you will LOVE the UD 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil. If you’re in the fence, buy it.

Absolutely love this eyeliner by Urban Decay and I always have one or two colors in my makeup bag! My go to color is the classic black (Perversion) and it really helps to make your eyes pop and makes your mascara look even bolder.

This pencil is super smooth and it glides on and blends effortlessly. The pigment is super vibrant and doesn’t dry out or crack after applying like some other pencil eyeliners out there. I usually used this eyeliner primarily on my waterline but switched to their Waterline Pencil for everyday use—however I still like to use this one when I want an even bolder look since it’s a bit thicker line.

If I want to use colored eyeliner, this is the brand I reach for and Goldmine is one of my faves. My only complaint with this eyeliner is that the cap somehow falls off quite often no matter how hard I press the cap down and the actual eyeliner falls out into my makeup bag.

I started having to put it in a separate baggy within my makeup bag to keep this from happening. Also, if you decide to purchase this eyeliner, do yourself a huge favor and make sure you also purchase their Grindhouse Eyeliner Pencil Sharpener, because you will not find another sharpener that will work and you’ll end up wasting a TON of product.

With Urban Decay’s sharpener, it’s super easy and you’re not wasting anything. Overall, I highly recommend this eyeliner. It’s high quality and it’s not too expensive. My favorite colors are the black and white version, along with Goldmine Try it out! :).

I received the 24/7 glide-on eye pencil from Urban Decay in the shade Rockstar. Rockstar is not black but it’s not brown, it’s similar to a dark copper. I would say maybe a dark copper mixed with brown but it definitely has a metallic shine to it that I like.

I personally don’t think I would have picked this color if I purchased this eyeliner myself, I normally go for plain black. However, I actually really like this shade and I really like the formula as well.

It is a very creamy pencil. It doesn’t hurt to apply and it goes on so easy, it just glides. It wears very pretty as well. You can definitely wear this for a night out but if you were to do a day to night look, I think you would have to reapply at some point.

It fades and smears as well if you accidentally touch your eye it will budge a little. But in this shade, at least, it turns into kind of like a smoky look so I think it plays off very well. Overall, I think this eyeliner is one that will get me to start wearing eyeliner again more on a regular basis.

I like that it’s dark but not black and I really like the texture of it. The only thing that I don’t like about this pencil is that it does not come with a sharpener and I don’t own a sharpener lol. All of my eyeliners are felt tip/marker eyeliners and I normally don’t use pencil or cream eyeliners that I need to sharpen, so that is something that I found annoying but also an easy fix to grab one next time I head to the store.

I used this product as much as I could without a sharpener and was able to use around 6 times before becoming dull. Totally recommend!.

It’s such a challenge to find vegan and clean beauty lip liners that actually do the job right, so I opted for the closest to clean possible and I remembered trying the HUDA Beauty liners a long time ago and finding them incredibly perfect.

(I bought one and just used it as a matte long lasting lipstick it was that good. ) Apparently those have been discontinued and these vegan versions are the new formulates. I can understand why other reviewers have claimed they’re not like the original ones (they’re not) but they’re also not at all bad.

I bought four colors so far (and probably will grab one more) and I use them underneath my satin lipstick to hold the color, define the lip shape more clearly, and softly mattify the finish. These liners do the job really well.

I even wore it last night at a gala, through a three course meal, and the lipstick that usually fades, lasted wonderfully. Until these clean brands up their game and produce legitimately functional lip liners, this is the best option right now.

My fav lip liner that I’ve ever used so far. I’m convinced that lip products do not last as long on me as other people, so it’s important to me that a lip product is long-lasting otherwise I’m literally applying it every 10 mins.

This lasts a couple of hours (which doesn’t sound like long, but it’s the longest lasting liner I’ve used). I also have really dry lips and this doesn’t dry them out at all. It’s just so creamy, I love it so much.

Lastly, I lose lip products when I’m out alllllll the time, so I’m pretty hesitant about buying higher end lip products because I rarely get full use out of it. I’ve already lost this product twice *cries*, but I had to repurchase it again because I don’t have anything I like more.

I have it in Sandy Beige and Honey Beige. CT’s Iconic Nude is my fav lip colour of all time, but it doesn’t last on me and Honey Beige was the closest colour in this range to it when I swatched it in store.

I got obsessed with that 90s/early 2000s brown lip liner look and I NEEDED to find myself one! The shop assistant at the sephora store was SO helpful and patient with me, she was creative and really took the time to show me all of the options.

Finally we came across this lip liner from Huda Beauty. I got the “Rich Brown” colour and it is EXACTLY what I was looking for!!! I love that you can just twist it for more length, it’s easy and quick to apply, creamy and easy to blend.

Unfortunately I didn’t know I had to buy a sharpener for it – but so far I haven’t needed to use one. I get so many compliments when I use this liner!!! I love using it just to line my lips, blend it a bit and pair it with a gloss! Only con is that it doesn’t stay on for long so you’ll definitely need retouches throughout the day/night.

I have used this liner and color religiously for over a decade and wore it every day. The last few times I purchased it I have been very disappointed with the change in hardness of the pencil. It is now made so soft I have to sharpen all the time and I go through it in a month.

I thought it may have just been the individual pencil, but it was the same with the next two I bought. I have to apply it very very lightly as to avoid bending the color stick ‘point’ and/or get a dark blob on my lip.

Wasting a lot. It does not matter if the climate is warm or cold. Why did Dior make this change to a perfect product? I cannot use this anymore. It was a great product until this change was made.

The Dior lip pencil has a lovely creamy texture and just glides on. Amazingly, it really does stay on, and is transfer resistant! Oh joy!! My only disappointment was I thought it was going to be more ginger in colour – the pencil nib colour shown on the Dior website looked exactly what I wanted, but in reality, it was more of a deep plum/pink colour on my lips.

But saying that, I have just ordered another colour from the range in red. This is a truly fantastic lip pencil and IT REALLY STAYS ON!!! And it came in a glorious Dior gift box and ribbon. Great service!.

I’ll be honest, I REALLY wanted to love this, but I am not impressed. I bought this as a recommendation from a YouTuber in the shade Jungle. I love that it comes with a brush at the end. The colors are very pigmented, which is fantastic, but being that the formula is very very creamy, it causes an issue for me of feathering.

If you are younger, this might work for you, but I’m in my early 40’s and I do have a few fine lines around my lips. No matter what u do with this, I end up with feathering. I LOVE Dior and I adore many of their beauty products, but this isn’t one I would be repurchasing again.

I looove this pencil. Probably my one of the products I have to regularly buy/replenish since I use it almost everyday. Love that it comes with the brush for blending. I’ve said it before, but I will say it again.

Dior beauty is 😍. The colour stays on all day/night for me. When I wear the dior lip oil over this I feel like a brand new person. LOL. The pencil comes in many shades.

Easy to apply. – glides on. I’ve tried many brands over years and I always come back to Dior lip liner. Cover whole lip to enable longer lasting lipstick. Alternatively, cover with lip gloss for different look.

The texture of this pencil is beautiful; it’s firm enough so as not to break easily, yet smooth. It sinks in well and quickly, and lasts for ages. I bought this in shade ‘undressed’ and the result is a healthy nude (my lips are naturally pink).

I’ve tried it both on its own and underneath lipstick and it’s performed well in both scenarios. It comes with a good quality sharpener and the little brush on the other side of the pencil means you can spread it as a lipstick more easily.

Great to carry anywhere! This will be a repeat purchase.

The first time I bought it late last year it was great but now the pencil tip breaks off immediately after sharpening. I can barely use it once and the tip comes of leaving behind the sharp wood edge.

Something is obviously wrong with the formula. I tried putting it in the refrigerator but that did not help. Additionally, the brush side is unnecessary and a waste. As is the last plastic top. A brush lasts for years while this is good for a short time.

It’s a shame to dump more plastic into the environment.

I love Kevyn Aucoin products and was so impressed with the Unforgettable Lipsticks that I was really wanted to try these. As a makeup artist Kevyn believed in using a liner that closely matches your lips rather than your lipsticks (you’ll see there are no bright red liners among the colours) and though he is no longer with us it’s really nice to see the brand remains committed to his makeup philosophy.

I am fair but have quite pink lips so I agonized over which colour to order between Undressed (“subtle nude”), Divine (“neutral nude”), and Minimal (“pinky nude”). Divine is not a perfect match for me, but it’s close enough and works great with both my Unforgettable lipsticks: Thelmadora (“rosy nude”) and Modern Love (“subtle pink mauve”).

The texture is soft while allowing you to be precise and doesn’t dry out my lips. When I run out I’ll go with another colour.

I absolutely LOVE this collection! This kit is best if you’re light medium or medium. If you’re any darker, only a few of these will actually show up. There’s about 3 that I just can’t use but I can use them to fill the middle of the lip in instead of line the lips.

These are super soft and leave a really nice matte finish that you can barely feel. I just love these. You do need a sharpener though. I ate a burger with this and some liquid lipstick on and it definitely held on more than the lipstick.

These are so creamy as well which makes it break sometimes after I sharpen.

I Love these! The set is wonderful! I prefer Pencils most of the time and the colors in this set are a great range. My only gripe with the Lippie pencils is that they still are occasionally plagued with leads that separate from the outer pencil and fall out, even without using even once.

It’s happened with one pencil already. I still love this set. I wear them alone, filling my lips in entirely, or also with lipgloss. The color lasts without bleeding and feathering out.

first time trying out colourpop lip liners and i’m really impressed. the formula is incredibly creamy and glide so easily on the lips. the colors are beautiful. i’ve used every color and not one color looks bad on me.

big color range/variety, very universal for all skin tones. a lot of lip liners can be drying on me but these aren’t and they last a long time. i eat and drink with these on and they stay put. 10/10 product, i highly recommend trying these out.

I’ve got pretty full lips so I’ve never really needed to use a lip pencil to fill them out before. But I decided to start trying them out to see what it would be like. I love Pat McGrath so I decided to get my first lip pencil from her line.

I got the shade “Suburbia” which is described as a midtone rose. Now looking back, I wish I got contour. It’s a very smooth lip pencil that glides on easily. I like that it’s waterproof. I’m still playing around with it and trying to figure out how to use lip pencils but so far, I like it and once I really get the hang of using these things, I’d consider more purchases from this line.

I also purchased a lip pencil from Charlotte tilbury but haven’t gotten around to using it yet. I’ll let you guys know which one I prefer once I do!.

Not worth the price, NYX is better, and I use allot of high end products, from By Terry, Chanel and Chantecaille. What’s with plastic sharpeners in every box??Total waste, many get thrown in landfills, animals eat and choke to death.

Quite evident cares more about money and sales than setting example for plastics and lowering prices just for a pencil. I went through this with Chanel liners, I just quit buying. I had 9 sharpness!!! Pat should lower prices and give us option if we want to buy, (or need) a sharpener.

Unlike most lip product advertisements, Perma Gel gel is closest to being exactly as it is advertised. It does go on easily, which makes it comfortable to apply. And it does stay on for many hours. Even after immediately being applied it doesn’t smudge, although, I deliberately tried.

The lip liner I used stayed cleanly applied. So, obviously you have gained another customer and I will be ordering again in more colors. I love subtle and neutral shades. Isn’t natural beauty what we’re all looking for? PermaGel gets a 👍🏼 from me!.

I love these Chantecaille lip pencils. Desire suits reds, corals, and even some pinks. Discreet is a good neutral — about the color of bare lips. Both shades are versatile. You can wear them alone, with gloss, or with lipstick.

I usually use these pencils when I wear dark lipsticks. I have 3 of them in my collection and according to the formula they are one of the most comfortable lip pencils. Excellent pigmentation and durability, pleasant elegant shades.

I don’t really like the packaging itself, but it’s small things if the quality is so much higher.

I’m writing specifically about color “Desire”. On Chantecaille’s website it’s defined as “classic red”, which is exactly what I wanted. She released a new red called “Passion” but it’s either on preorder; backorder; sold out or not available.

Anyway, I always look at Net-a-Porter for swatches because they are more accurate than the specific websites themselves and extremely helpful if ordering from Nordstrom; Saks; etc that doesn’t even provide swatches or descriptions.

They called it a “firey coral” so that worried me. I received it yesterday and it’s definitely not red! The color on the pencil looks rose, but it’s actually a berry color. My two favorite colors for fall from Chantecaille are Iris and Azalea and this is a near identical match to Iris.

It’s a beautiful berry color, so I’m keeping it, but I wanted to put this out here in case anyone else thinks this is supposed to be red.

This is a great lip liner! It is very creamy and easy to use, it glides on the skin easily and smoothly. The color is just beautiful and it lasts for hours. I discovered this brand about a year ago and fell in love with their products.

The quality is so high and definitely worth the price.

They have really good lip liners. I have 2 colours and both of them apply very smooth and application is easy because of that. The finish of the pencils is matte but it does not look cracked on your lips.

I don’t know much about it being protective and nourishing on my lips that is why -1 star.

This is my go to for lips, I always have it in my pocket!! I use this as a liner and to fill in my lips before using lipstick. It helps to keep the color on all day and helps to prevent flaking. It is small enough to keep in a pocket discreetly for those quick touch ups after having coffee or something to eat.

I always keep a few extra at home in case I misplace one and to make sure I always have one incase of stock shortages; you know how things are now, you have to think six months out.

Used to use this color years ago because it always went well with my choice of lipstick colors. I’m fair complexion, redhead. It’s lighter color than what is shown online. I also went to some other sites to see the color charts.

Goes well with neutral colors, I don’t care for the darker outline around the lips, works good for me. Stays on and is easy to apply. I got the sale price so it was even better!.

This is a deep plum color that I was searching for in an eyeliner & couldn’t find anywhere UNTIL girl at makeup counter said wait I have something and pulled out the Clinique plummy lipliner. It is perfect color & absolutely works great! Goes on smooth, I can smudge it if I want, lasts all day & comes off easily with makeup remover just like all my other eye liners.

I have been using this for several years now and it has opened up another avenue for eye lining colors !!.

**THIS IS NOT THE COLOR I OWN** My color was not an option—I have #100, which is clear. I’m just really getting into lipsticks, stains, etc and wanted to try a liner I could use with any color. Clear?! PERFECT! I can use this liner with literally any shade and it helps me shape my lips before applying actual color to them.

I bought this when it was on sale for buy one, get one half off so I think I paid around $5. 00-$5. 50 for it? I would’ve bought it for it’s full price, I just happened to be getting another maybelline product at the time.

🙂 I think it’s a great product, especially if you’re new to lip pencils, lipstick, etc. It also has a removable sharpener on the opposite end of the stick so you can sharpen the liner up when you need to.

Super convenient! Now that I’m getting more comfortable with lip colors (not just glosses lol) I would absolutely try this product in a different shade. I may go find a match for my red lipstick samples I received from #Ulta recently, now that I’m thinking about it.

I am am not huge in lipstick, will wear a shade every once in a while, otherwise I’ll just use clear balms and glosses. I was beyond blown away with this liner. I also tried the technique where you press your lips together and line the outside.

Beautiful outcome (for my expectations anyway lol) I couldn’t believe I actually have lips! This liner worked great, stayed put all night and it kept my lipstick from smudging outside of the lines. If you’re on a budget like me, definitely recommend to have in your stash for those nights you’re going for a different look.

Worth every cent!.

I had a much pricier lip liner that I loved and have been looking for a replacement since it was discontinued. I’ve been disappointed until now. This color is spot on. It’s just pink enough to make my lips look fuller with an obvious lip liner look.

The texture is nice a creamy. Since mask wearing, I’ve been filling my lips in with liner before lipstick to make the color last longer, and this has worked great. I’m going to buy a dozen just in case this one gets discontinued!.

Wow I’m really glad I finally tried Haus Laboratories! I am in love with this lip liner and am on their website now to order more! It applies so smooth, isn’t drying at all, and the color is very vibrant and matches the description and picture on the website.

I almost rolled my eyes when they showed their lip liners basically being used as lipstick, but you totally can! It looked great on its own, but I added a small amount of a glittery glossy lipstick that is similar color and it really pops! Mother Monster can do no wrong!.

I have Myth and Crave (Carve?) in my rotation. I did think Crave was going to be brighter than it actually was. Myth is the perfect “your own color but better” shade. Performance wise, no complaints.

I use them as lipcolor, either by themselves or underneath other lip product. I haven’t busted out the Supermodel yet but I am anticipating the same awesome performance.

Rip Lip semi matte lip liner is easy to apply. It can be used as either a lip liner or all over lip color. Smooth texture and finish. Shade Carve is very pretty but a little lighter and pinker than I usually choose.

I chose it since it was part of the Very Peri pantone collection. Pairs well with Le Riot lip gloss. I love Haus Laboratories.

This lip liner is one of those products I stock up on in case it ever discontinues. Luckily I’ve never heard Sam mention it, but I’m still nervous lol. The tip is huge so if you have smaller lips you might have difficulty with the application of this.

I have pretty big lips so this makes it so easy for me to put on and go. It comes with a brush on the other side but I’ve never used it, it’s really easy to blend out just by rubbing my lips together.

I have the shade Undercover, and it’s a little too light of an orange for me to wear on its own so I usually pair it with a brown liner. I’m black and light skinned, but with enough pigment for this to be too light around the edges.

Basically I use this as a lipstick and I love it. The formula glides on, and my lips are super dry so it can be difficult to apply products and not have them clump up or create lines in my lips. This is fine so long as I moisturize a few minutes before I apply.

And surprisingly this lasts a decent amount of time considering it’s a lip product. I usually am good for about 4 hours after putting this on. I’ve used this stuff for years daily and am still on my second one so it lasts FOREVER.

I’ve used the color hush hush for a few years now. I tend to stick to more rosey my lips but better shades and nudes so this is a great option if you’re looking for that color family. Depending on the time of year it can look a little dark but it wears so well.

Usually I line my lips then fill them in lightly if I’m just wearing this or just line and go over with a lipstick. I’ve found it layers well with a few different shades of lipstick, mauve, pink, nude so I wouldn’t worry too much about matching them, just as long as they’re around the same color or family.

Usually when my lipstick wears off after eating/drinking etc I am still left with my liner but it looks diffused and not like a stark contrast so it looks really pretty and subtle until you can reapply lipstick.

I’ve also found gloss doesn’t make it disintegrate, I use the buxom lip cremes. I love this lip liner.

This is not the same product that I use but I cannot find it on influenster! I use power line plumping lip liner by Buxom! Okay I felt the tingles and I loved it! The color goes on Matt and it stays over quite a while even underneath my lip gloss.

I’m really glad that I bought this product and I think I’m going to go for a darker shade next time too. The list of something action in this one doesn’t dry out my lips which I think is really important thing since the lip injections lip gloss left my lips feeling extremely chapped and irritated.

This with clumping product does not leave your lips feeling chapped. Looks great and has my vote. #game changer.

Like the Shine Compulsion Lipstick from this brand, I just find this okay. I like that it’s a retractable liner so there’s no sharpening, but I think it’s kind of strange that this is a shimmery lip liner.

I personally don’t care for baby bubblegum pink on my skin tone, so this and the lipstick aren’t something I would really gravitate to for that reason either. NikkieTutorials showed a shimmery lipliner from another brand on her channel that she would use in her cupid’s bow to add a little extra highlight in that spot, so I might try that with it, but it just doesn’t really seem like something I would reach for too often.

Usually I like my lip liners to have a little more grip and pigment to the formula, so they really define the lip and keep products from feathering, but this is is very balmy and “slippy” like the lipstick and I just don’t feel like it would do much of what most people expect from a lipliner.

For a lightweight, moisturizing, balm-like lip product that is meant to kind of be put on with minimal effort to get some shine and hydration (that’s how I see the shine compulsion), I don’t really understand the need for an extra step of lipliner.

It just seems like it should be more of an effortless product and one that I wouldn’t want or feel the need to take an extra step, like applying lipliner for. But that’s just my opinion. It’s def not a bad product and for some of the richer shades, it might be nice to have a lipliner with a more slippery type lipstick like the SC, but I still feel like the lipliner is so slippery itself that it really wouldn’t help much.

It’s pretty much the Shine Complusion Lipstick, in lipliner form. So if that’s something you want, I don’t think it’s a bad product, it’s just not something I would personally reach for over other lipliners in my collection! :).

This product is a favorite of mine! The fact that this has a twist up applicator makes my life easy! It allows the item to be easily accessible during any occasion or situation. I have a few lip liners that require a pencil sharpener and it’s like, it’s not 2001 anymore….

The colors are great and go on smoothly. I do feel like the cost is a bit expensive for a drug store brand. I believe these are like $12. So, if you are like me and always on the go, if you leave this somewhere by accident it is pretty sad… Attached are photos of the product, some have different colors than the 105.

This is my absolute favorite lip liner. It’s just the perfect flesh tone that accentuates your lip line without it looking like you overlined your lips. I cannot rave about it enough. You’ll have to sharpen it since it’s a pencil, but it lasts a long time and doesn’t dry out (at least not in my experience).

I find it buttery soft and easy to apply. Some say it’s dry, but I think that depends on wether or not your skin/lip area is dry. This is worth every penny in my opinion and goes with a lot of other lip colors for a layered look.

Wear it alone with some gloss or pair it with just about any lip color for the perfect pout. Highly recommend.

Everyone has always revered Pillow Talk as the “your lips but better” color, but for me, Love Trap is it. I don’t really think the color description is accurate. I don’t notice peach. it just feels a lot more natural and a lot less PINK than Pillow Talk.

I am quite fair and have very dark brown hair, think like the girl who plays Emily in Emily In Paris, very similar to her coloring, so when I put on Pillow Talk it is FULL ON pink, and does not read natural.

This is much more classic. I can make it undetectable but if I load it up I can make it look like a kissable contour, but you would never really be able to detect where it starts and my lip ends. I think it is far more easy to wear and flattering.

I believe I have more neutral to cool undertones, in case that helps. I am DEFINITELY not warm or olive.

An excellent lip liner. The consistency is akin to a very creamy (but not greasy) gel lip liner which does not drag or skip along the lips during application. It delivers a clean, precise line and very pigmented matte color.

I’ve used this by itself (with a lip primer underneath for a bit of added moisture), under creme lipstick, matte lipstick, and liquid lipstick and it keeps my lip colour in place. I have not had any problems with lipstick bleeding or feathering, or any excess smudging.

I purchased the shade Rosary – it is a pretty, bright true red which works well as a base underneath a variety of bright red lipsticks with either cool, neutral or warm undertones. I am quite fair with cool undertones in my skin and Rosary adds a lovely pop of colour without appearing garish or harsh.

In summary, this is an excellent choice for cleanly defining the shape of the lips and extending the life of one’s lip colour. It may be worn alone or under a favourite lipstick. As with all lip products, oil is thine enemy, and the lip liner will of course decline in efficacy if one indulges in a greasy meal or snack.

I will gladly purchase this lip liner again as it is one of the nicest I have tried. Brava!.

I was looking for a nude lipliner that would give my lips definition without looking too pale which makes my lips look smaller, or too dark and obvious, to pair with my nude and natural looking pink glosses.

Online I only found photos of Bow n’ Arrow looking way too light on darker skinned women or looking almost rusty brown on extremely fair skinned women. But most photos either had horrible lighting or were using filters so I knew I wasn’t seeing a fair representation.

I’m so glad I took a chance & ordered it! In person it is the most flattering, natural looking, opaque nude! I have extremely white skin in the winter & I get really tan in the summer, and this liner is just dark enough to look good on both! Seriously folks, don’t trust the photos online, swatch it for yourself.

I paired it with Every single one of my pink and nude lipsticks and it looks amazing! And it doesn’t come off when I eat or drink, which is a first for me. If they ever discontinue this color I’d suggest going with Ludwig, which is my second favorite, because it’s more universally flattering if you have tanner skin, or want a more dramatic liner.

I have this in the color Lovecraft, which is a beautiful rosy mauve. It matches my lips really well working with any lip color I put over it. The texture of the pencil is creamy but sets in place well lasting all day.

To use, I outline my lips and blend with my finger to soften the line. I like that this is a mechanical pencil needing no sharpening. I also appreciate that this company is vegan and cruelty free, which is very important to me.

I would definitely repurchase and highly recommend this lip liner.

In the shade Davis. In this pic I am wearing it as little dots above my eyes. So rich and smooth. Not dry and hard to apply to lips at all. Love this! Good staying power. I think I need a lighter shade for my lips though cuz this is quite dark for my preference.

I love the name of this! So fun. I’d definitely start with moisturized lips and it’s very pigmented. This is a perfect nude for me and it stayed all day while I was at work. And i used it all over my lips and it hardly wore down the pencil at all.

What is this tiny tiny thing? Feels like someone has used it to the point where it’s no longer confortable to hold, and then they sold it to you, in a very high price for what you get. Didn’t like the shade either – looks like a spaghetti sauce stain.
