I apply a bit of paste on my damped hair soon after I step out of the shower. Once fully distributed, I then blow dry and voilà! Volume ensues immediately. To keep it in place, I finish it with a high-shine pomade.

Wicked sweet hair product for straight and limp hair!.

This is a less nice smelling and a far weaker/less useful version of grooming clay. I keep trying to use it with different additions but it does not thicken at all (I have very fine hair), nor does it have much hold, nor does it last more than about 45 minutes.

Worth a try but this one is going in the trash.

This is a decent hair styling product. It does provide flexible hold without shine and I like that. But I think it comes with two major flaws: a. ) I do not see a “thickening” effect: I have fine short hair and bought it to make it look fuller.

I would not spend this much money on a small jar (75 ml) of pomade if it wasn’t for this extra benefit and it unfortunately did not keep that promise. b. ) don’t use it if you’re spending time outside.

The sweet fragrance turns your head into a “giant flower” and I spent most of my beer garden time fighting bees off of my face. I also think fragrance is not needed in any cosmetics. If I want a certain smell, I use a cologne.

Called Aveda and I can return – but at my own cost. No label provided. Not really top-notch service when their product fails to deliver as promised. Overall: disappointed.

This is such an amazing brand, it’s honestly the best! 😍 This product made my skin feel extra smooth I don’t think they can improve, this is not my first time purchasing this product and I would 100% buy it again! My hair felt nice and refreshed and my curls sprang back.

I love this brand and they have some of the best pomades and pastes. They always have a very masculine scent as well. I bit more pricey than your average pomade but it’s got great hold and creates great texture.

Paul Mitchell has been an industry leader and innovator for decades, and although this hair pomade is a classic product, it still outperforms most other pomades on the market. The scent, texture, and workability are all pleasant.

I use this to style a multitude of men’s hair that I cut.

Even though seems expensive when purchasing, you know, mens hair product and you think really that much for a small tube. However, you use so little of it, the amount of time the tube lasts outweighs cost.

Great easy to use hair care product, with great hold ability, so you dont look like you have an Afro everyday. Holds my curls in place and doesnt allow friz to take over. Not to strong so doesnt look like product holding my hair in place either.

And no shine, so I dont look oiled up. Perfect.

I love American crew products, and this fiber cream is by far my favorite of the line now. This product is not a over thick cream, doesn’t dry, flake, or become hard, or greasy. A softer more moldable cream version of fiber for those who used it long ago.

A very small amount in towel dry hair. My hair is about 3 inches, and works great. A true medium hold. Also good in shorter hair too. Thank you American crew.

I’ve been using this product forever. Has a great smell to it and holds really well. You just have to remember a little goes a long way. I always put a little n hands rub them together and then apply to tips first then to base.

I bought Pete and Pedro putty, along with two other products of the line. Considering I have medium length hair that is fairly long on top, this stuff is killer. The hold is great and re-workable all day.

The putty is fairly difficult to remove. I used my nails. It’s not too difficult but you’re gonna have to put a little effort into it. In general, it’s still fairly easy and simple to use. You could also definitely tell that it’s a high-quality putty for your hair.

It smells amazing and it’s not sticky after using it and trying to grab other things.

I love a Pete Pedro products! Putty is my go to for the strong hold, but still flexible and manageable. The matte finish leaves a natural look. I pair this with the Sea Salt Spray, to add a bit of texture.

Like the product. But surprised and displeased that 3-pack comes with only 1 jar. And that is unboxed. The other 2 are simply bags. Not sure yet if their quality is as good as jarred, but doubt since they’re more prone to heat, etc while shelved.

This is a Nutrafol decision, not Apothecarie. Wish they would allow Apothecarie to ship 3 boxed, jarred vitamins the way you get when you buy a single jar (just like you get when buying in person at an authorized retailer/spa/MD).

1 month in and I already notice some growth in my hair. I bleached my hair 2 months ago and my natural black roots have came out almost an inch!! I did take biotin regularly before using this product though so it might’ve just gave it a boost.

Please take this in between a bite of food because it does cause stomach upset if you take it on it’s own. Also, you might find your burps tasting grassy. Excited to see how much my hair grows going forward.

I like that Nutrafol for women support healthy hair growth with vitamins that curve the normal deficiencies women have that cause hair loss. I currently do not have any dislikes for the product. I have been using it now for 29 days.

I purchased them on amazon where they have the option to set up a subscription. I wish I would have known it takes 3- 6 months to receive best results.

I have to leave this product in longer than 5 minutes, about 10-15 minutes for most (but not all) of my silver hairs to dye. The unfortunate consequence of this as stated in the box leaflet is that my pigmented hairs become far darker than expected.

In fact, some of the hairs are jet black. There needs to be a stronger formula for better coverage with an auto stop colour feature. The product does seem to gradually wash off in time aswell which eventually brings it to the desired colour, but then the silver hairs begin to show, so top ups are required before the next haircut.

My other half has been debating forv6 months about dying his hair. He was so worried people would notice. This colour has covered the grey well but subtly and not one person has noticed. He is very pleased.

Have used JFM in the past and been happy with it. This time the colour turned out darkish brown and not light brown. My previous colour was dark blond. It was kept on for the correct amount of time as per the instructions.

Won’t be using this again – very disappointed!.

When I bought this, I shaved my head to track progress. The label says it takes 4 months to work and I was not convinced by the photos on the website that any of the before-and-after photos they have there demonstrate new hair growth.

Still, I gave it a try and 5 MONTHS LATER, I don’t see any difference. If anything, I have lost more hair. Surface tension from applying the foam is enough for hair to lift out of my scalp. I am extremely disappointed and feel that the company knows that this product does not work, otherwise they would have more convincing before and after pictures on their website.

You know those AWFUL before-and-after pictures used for advertising those chin-exercise devises? It’s that phony. Don’t fall for this product. Lean into the new you or talk to a dermatologist about other options.

Any minoxidil in general will work for your hair. When I had problems with my hair falling out 10 years ago I started using this and it worked well but I used the women’s formula. The one is formula made my scalp really dry and itchy and I saw on a TV show that a woman can use the men’s formula only once a day.

So I started using that. The men’s formula is oily but not drying. It really works to stop your hair from falling out but the problem is you have to keep using it. I figured out over the years what my hair loves.

So now I’ve mixed up my own oils and use henna and Aphogee protein treatment every four weeks and I have discontinued the minoxidil.

I tried this product once before it worked! it regrew all the loss I had due to stress. I started it back recently as I’ve had hair loss due to Covid and stress once again. It does take time before you actually start seeing results I would say about two months.

Be patient it will come, so far I’ve been using this in combination with hair vitamins and I already see some growth 1 month in. The product can get your hair greasy have dry shampoo available.

I bought 4 American crew products at the same time to compare them, the Cream Pomade, the Matte Styling Cream, the Forming Cream, and the Defining Paste. The descriptions on the American Crew website aren’t helpful, so I am hoping my description helps.

The Cream Pomade dries quickly and dries slightly firm. It does not really hold shape but keeps the frizz down. If you rub your fingers through it, it will still keep the frizz lightly at bay. It holds a bit less than I want, but I can’t fault the product for that.

It does tend to feel lightly greasy if you don’t shower in the morning.

It has a nice smell and consistency, but I don’t like the way it dries. Especially for the price! Also a little upset about a few other things. For one, the free-gift smaller portion of the regular pomade was bad / old.

I sent a picture and complained, and American Crew was quick to try to make it right by sending a replacement. The replacement was also bad / old. Next, the shipping for these products takes too long.

My son loves Dove gel for when he lets his hair grow out past his usual high and tight. He said its flexible enough to put a bit in to control fly aways but he said it’ll build if he needs it to for a stronger hold.

He likes the smell. As do I lol. I can always tell if he’s used it when I walk in the bathroom and not because he left it sit out on the sink, but because I too love the smell.

I actually bought this product for my hubby and he loves it. His curly, unruly hair was able to be tamed with just a little bit of this. A little goes a long way and the smell is pleasent and was not offensive at all.

I will be definitely buying this for him again. 💖😊.

My initial impressions weren’t very good for this product. Having tried many different types of hair product, it has led me to require a few personal wants and desires. This product, unfortunately, missed a multitude of them.

The first thought when seeing this product was that it immediately reminded me of Elmer’s glue. Not just by sight, but especially by the smell. It really does have a similar smell to that of Elmer’s glue.

The amount to use will vary with each person’s preference, but I recommend a very small amount. I used a bit too much and my hair (short hair) had a white color because I used too much and it was only a dime size amount.

The product does hold very well and washes out easily so there’s a couple pluses, but the shine wasn’t what I was personally looking for in a hair product. It was more of a matte finish. Some people may find this product appealing and fitting to their needs, but I certainly didn’t.

Note: I am a Dove user and enjoy a multitude of their other products.

Dove hair products might be my favorite stuff to use. I have very sensitive skin and can’t use just any hair product. I’ve found dove to have safe and stylish products that do not give me any issues.

This stuff works greats for anyone with thick hair like myself. It holds everything together for the entire work day. I’ve had no issues with it and I love the small container it comes in. The smell is great and it lasts me a long time even though I use it everyday.

Good product. Works as intended and works better than expected. I have very fine frizzy hair which goes all over the place and looks like a mess if I don’t put something in it, this was exactly what I needed and didn’t even know it! Easy to put in and easy to wash out.

Has a good hold to keep my hair’s form and keep it still, but not a overly strong hold that makes it apparent I’m using hair product. Has a pleasant smell and a nice shine. Will be buying again the future and would recommend to anyone with wild ultra fine hair that needs something to keep it in check.

BEST HAIR PASTE EVER. Full disclosure, I am in fact a woman, but this is 100x better than any other drugstore hair product marketed for women. I’d also like to add that it’s MUCH cheaper for more product than the same stuff in a pink container.

It does have a fairly strong cologne smell at first, but once it’s in your hair you can’t really notice it. I have a pixie cut and I like everything to be in its place and styled without the stiff look of a hairspray, and I like to be able to run my fingers through it without becoming covered in product.

This paste does exactly that, and it gives a nice amount of sheen to my hair without being too shiny or greasy looking. You really only need a small bit so it lasts a long time, although for a longish pixie cut you’ll need about double what the instructions say.

It does feel quite thick in your hands and it takes some practice to get the application and amount right, but once it dries it’s very soft and unnoticeable. If you are a woman using this and you’re going for a softer look, I will caution you against using too much in one area because it can look a little stringy, but it’s pretty easy to comb through and fix.

I use just a little at a time, adding more until I’m happy. If you’re going to be out in the wind and you don’t want your hair messed up you’ll still have to use hairspray, but this is great for after styling hold and shaping.

And SO much cheaper than the same exact thing marketed for women!.

This product provides and offers everything that I am looking for in a good sculpting paste. When applied, this product instantly finishes up your hair and gives it a long lasting hold for a long amount of time.

After use, this product also gives my hair a nice greasy look that I am going for with a nice feeling texture that is given onto the hair. This product can be used with both wet and dry hair (I have used it with both wet and dry hair and the results are both great in the end).

The packaging of this product is quite small and can be considered little, but a tiny amount of the paste can provide a decent hold to your hair; meaning, it will take a while to go through one package.

This product is amazing considering the price that is being offered.

My husband requested Brylcreem. He’s tried so many styling products for men with mixed results. He wanted Brylcreem from his younger days. Well, it’s still as he remembered it. He is quite happy with the styling and holding results.

It does not leave his hair stiff. Attractive tube, easy to dispense. However, it is a bit difficult to find. As long as I can keep getting it, this will remain his hair product of choice.

I have looked in dozens of stores and none of them carries Brylcreem! That is the only product that my husband likes. The new stuff on the store shelves is horrible and he hates them. I ordered three big tubes.

A few things you MUST know about this product; it’s light weight, not sticky or greasy, leaves hair soft and touchable and conditions and adds shine! I would not recommend this product specifically for someone that is looking for some hold.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! I got it for free in a recent Voxbox and tried it twice and I flat out refuse to use it again. I have fairly dry skin and the second I this on my skin it set my scalp on fire. I was instantly scrabbling to wash it out! I looked at the ingredients and THIS IS AN ALCOHOL BASED PRODUCT.

It’s also full of acids, silicones, and parfum. Also, despite being branded “with castor oil”, it is the last ingredient on the ingredients list. Basically, a bunch if crap that is TERRIBLE for your skin/scalp.

I’ll say it again; for the love of god, DO NOT BUY THIS.

I myself love this hair gel. I’ve been using it for a long time now and it’s been great. I use to use pomade for my hair exclusively, but I wanted to stop using it because I hated wearing pomade while working.

I tried a lot of other cheaper gels, but they either wouldn’t hold, would flake or I would have to use an excessive amount for it to work. This is hands down the best gel I have found. It keep my hair in place all day, I don’t have to use a ton of it, has no strong or unpleasant oder, and it doesn’t create white flakes.

Also I have thick wavy hair and style my hair in a comb over style. works excellent.

I added this product to my latest order for replacement razor blades. I’ve never been in the habit of bothering with any grooming products, letting nature take its course, but my hair was getting completely unmanageable as I got older.

Works on my fine, bleached wavy hair. Great hold, pleasant smell, doesn’t damage hair but a bit sticky. No harmful ingredients. I scrunch it in wet hair. Leaves a hard cast when it dries, but when I scrunch it out I get soft waves.

Sometimes I use a little argan oil to scrunch it out. Don’t use too much, a tiny amount goes a long way!.

As a BBB (Big, Bald, Bearded) man I’m no stranger to having to fight women off with a stick. But with this paste and it’s amazing tobacco fragrance, I stand no chance at avoiding the droves of women seeking my attention.

It has great hold, and lasts all day. The finish is smooth despite the strong hold, and the fragrance lasts all day without being overwhelming. Great product, and I’m sure it would work fine on your head too if you are one of those.

I have a 9 month old full beard and handle bar mustache and the guys at 18. 21 keep me looking distinguished and refined every day. The Beard Balm is just the right amount of moisturizer and styling hold to keep a long full beard tamed and looking great.

While the smell is slightly different than both the cologne and the body watch (it definitely is more spiced vanilla vs. sweet tobacco), there are not other options to get close to the smell of their other products.

That being said, I do like the smell and it does match up well with the sweet tobacco cologne. My main gripe is the greasy aspect of the product. You need to put a good amount on your beard to have it work (i.

e. – keep your facial hair in check). However, putting too much on leaves your beard extremely greasy, both in appearance and feel. The good news is that it does not clog my pores and/or cause a breakout of acne.

I would much prefer a beard lotion product with this smell. That would get a 5 star rating in my opinion.

I have been wearing wigs for a couple of years, and have tried many wigs from different websites and brands. I’m a young guy, and have always struggled with my appearance. This is the first time I’ve been compelled to write a review.

Very happy with this purchase. I have experience slightly altering wigs to fit my style and look, and this wig required very little trimming to make it look perfect. The mono top makes it look realistic; It’s worth the extra money.

I can’t believe how great it looks after the 15 minutes of trimming and edits. I get a lot of positive attention and comments from women, it’s kinda overwhelming haha! Thank you for actually sending me a real wig and the amazing customer service.

I have been anxiously waiting for this conditioner to come back. When I called, I was told it was supply-chain issues on some of the botanical ingredients, but that the Spring Loaded Conditioner would return.

In the meantime, I tried several new products, and, my curly hair was never as nice as when I used JPM’s Spring Loaded Conditioner. I had written in the past that I wouldn’t stray, but, the unavailability caused me to try, and, I am so glad the wait is over.

My hair is back to looking lovely and soft and manageable and not frizzy. Thank you, thank you, for making this conditioner again, and all in the Spring Loaded line. I don’t like to use anything else.
