I bought this book because my students “hated” my dad jokes, and when I saw it I just HAD to have it. Every day at the end of my homeroom I read a page of them. Really, it provides a good laugh for us to get our day started!.

These types of books are hilarious in my opinion. I got it as a gift for a guy who just became a new dad and it was great and funny. It is great to just look through the book and I guarantee there will be at least one joke that’ll make you laugh.

The book arrived when expected and was wrapped securely but, unfortunately, the first few pages of the book were loose and not connected to the spine. The book is still readable however, and the person I bought the book for was not phased by the loose pages.

Standard, corny Dad jokes as expected, so bad they’re good.

Although the book is advertised as used, it also states it would still be fine to give as a gift and was in great condition. However, it is not. Several pages are folded as if to save the page for later, obvious damage to the book and pages and I would be embarrassed to give this as a gift.

Have bought an alternative book elsewhere instead.

I ordered on Dec. 5 shipped on Dec. 7 from WI. to ILL. Cincinnati, Knoxville, Nashville, stayed in Nashville for 7 days then to Memphis then back to Nashville on Dec. 20. We left for Ms early a. m. on Dec.

20 for 2 weeks. The book was for my great grandson who is 8 yrs. old who likes knock knock jokes. We came back after new years and still no book!!!!!!!!!!!! I want a refund!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you, Sheila Hollenbeck.

Both books arrived damaged. There was torn covers and a broken back on one. This was done in shipping I’m sure, but recommend you ship in something more substantial than a plastic bag.

We sent this book to our grandchildren and ourselves. Each time we now FaceTime, we laugh and laugh as we all share jokes. My husband and I find a daily joke, too, just for fun. There are so many good jokes in this book, you can’t help but laugh out loud.

I bought this jokebook for my 7 yr old nephew because he likes knock knock jokes. I thought this book was pretty nice when it arrived and I looked at it. There is a knock knock joke on nearly every page and a few riddle type jokes and tongue twisters on other pages as the cover states.

Takes awhile to go thru them. I’d say the jokes vary in age range, meaning that a 6 to 14 yr old would probably like all of the jokes, a 3 to 5 year old would get some of the jokes, and I (being 56 yrs old) got a kick out of some of the jokes.

(Sort of like Disney movies). Also the colorful pictures of various animals filled in the background of the pages.

Used with my 7 year old some of the jokes were hard for him to understand. Was a fun read but probably better to check out in the library rather then spend money and loose shelf space.

I bought this for my 7 year old granddaughter and her 9 year old brother enjoyed it just as much as she did. It was so nice to hear them laughing together for days instead of arguing.

My 8 yr old daughter loves jokes, but when she told me the kung flu joke yesterday, in light of the anti- Asian hate crimes happening across America recently, it was really hurtful to see it in the joke book as a ‘joke’’.

I picked this book up for my 5 year old grandson. He loves it. I asked him how he would rate it and so the five star is a mix of his and his parents response. My son says my grandson will be reading it and telling jokes and laughing.

My son does say that there are some of the jokes my grandson reads and starts to wonder what the jokes mean; but, he’s six and learning and having fun in the process.

I sent this to my 7 yr. old grandson. He said it’d Hilarious! My daughter, his mom, uses it every morning to open her conference calls at work! She loves it, too!

Good humor is a valuable commodity. Let me re-phrase that. Good clean humor is a valuable commodity. Clean humor is not as easy to find as you might think. Much of the humor of the past three or so decades is based on making fun of someone else or of other ideas.

It capitalizes on someone’s mistakes. It belittles and minimizes someone else’s worth. To find good humor means leaving that base in the dust and finding things that are truly funny at no one else’s expense.

Even the definition of clean has variations and shades of meaning. As a parent when my children were young I didn’t want them to think that devaluing someone else was funny. Slapstick was fine as well as play on words and incongruities.

We loved all things animal humor. Those were our standards. This book contains a similar standard. It is written for young children perhaps from 6-10 years. The content is squeaky clean. Many of the jokes date back to my childhood years with a few new ones sprinkled here and there.

There are 126 pages of fun. It is divided by chapters by categories: Chapter 1: Questions and Answers Chapter 2: Awesome Animal Jokes Chapter 3: Knock Knock Jokes Chapter 4: Tongue Twisters Chapter 5: Some Things to Think About One of the Question and Answers I’ve never heard before goes like this: Question: What did the alien say to the flower bed? Answer: Take me to your weeder.

Here’s one from Chapter 2 I haven’t heard before: Question: Where do bees come from? Answer: Stingapore and Beelivia Do knock knock jokes make you groan? Knock knock! Who’s There? Everest Everest who? Do we Everest from telling knock knock jokes? One parting shot: If a fly didn’t have wings would we call it a walk? Now I found this is just one book in a collection.

There are many more books just like this one. They came out with a new one in 2014 if you are looking for more. I recommend this to anyone who wants pure and simple humor for their children. Tiny little book my kids can read. They had fun with some knock-knock jokes, but they didn’t get a lot of the jokes 😀 Cute jokes though. Similar to what you would get on a popsicle stick. Very apporopriate.

I bought this book for my 3rd grader grandson, and he loves it. Every morning on the way to school he reads me the jokes. He hasn’t learned some of the words at school yet, but he sounds them out and is able to figure them out with out much difficulty.

In that respect it’s a good reading improvement tool. The jokes and riddles are very cute and make you think about the punch-lines. Overall, I would buy this particular book again for another child.

I bought this for my 12 year old grandson and he loves it! He immediately went to work on the family to be the center of attention in telling funny jokes, or trying to stump us with a riddle. Its been a lot of fun for our whole family.

Silly jokes, just a few that really don’t make sense, most are just corny and fun. I’ve been able to share some of them with a much younger grandson who laughs heartedly at each joke! It was a great buy!! A+++.

No matter how corny or groan worthy a knock-knock joke is, I will always have a soft spot for it. Many years ago my youngest son was a struggling reader. This is devastating to a momma that thinks of reading like breathing.

No matter what I did it just didn’t seem to help. And then along came our first knock-knock joke book. It was as if a light had come on. That little boy would follow all of us around reading us joke after joke.
