Best Lodestar Fire Emblem Fates (2025 Updated)

Nintendo got everything right in this Fire Emblem iteration. I don’t know where to start! The speedy interface/game, the story, the characters are all worth the price and you can download the other two paths as DLC for only 20$ each! For around 100$ you’re getting a whole heck of a lot of replayable game and no, FE Conquest and FE Birthright are NOT the same game.

Amazing separate and affordable DLC available. Whole new amazing characters and storylines!.

The very first Fire Emblem game I ever received and I fell in love. The characters, soundtrack and mechanics feel like they were made for me. I’m a casual gamer and enjoy games that are more strategy or turn based.

Every iteration in the series is its own unique story so you don’t have to know anything or have played the other games to know what’s going on. Though there are easter eggs and references to those who have played the other games.

Fire Emblem is typically much harder than Three Houses, and this is no exception. The story is cheesy, the characters are mostly unlikable, but the gameplay is there. It’s certainly worth the time.

This game is great i would leave it at that but i need to go into detail. It is a tactical turn based RPG and if you play on classic mode when a unit dies it wont come back next chapter so plan your moves carefully.

it has to coherent story lines birthright you fight for Hoshido and defend your home land conquest you fight with Nohr and side with those who raised you. Now for what i like the graphics are great, the field sprites look very nice and the battle models are very fluid the characters are very likable and the 2D animatied cutscenes put even Disney to shame and the song lost in thoughts all alone is just great.

it has a fortress builder witch is fun and there’s a Waifu system witch i still don’t understand why Japan likes Waifu but it affects how units pair up in battle and your avatar named Croin s completely customize able including gender name and voice now for what i dont like the villain is unlikable but i guess that’s his job but the sound track isnt very memorable lost in thoughts all alone is the only i can remember but over all it’s a great game 4/5 would play many MANY times but don’t waste time with amibo kinda lame.

My first entry to the series was fire emblem echoes shadows of valentia. Although, it is not fully voice acted like echoes, but the gameplay is great or as good as echoes. I also got this at a good price.

The shipping was very fast and on time. I think anyone who is interested in fire emblem or strategy games, they will enjoy it for sure. Im not that deep in the game play yet but I am enjoying it.

The visuals are way better than FE Awakening (previous 3DS game), and the gameplay is a bit more complex. Now enemies can use pair-up/dual attack mechanics, which previously was restricted to only the player’s units.

Also, enemy skills are more varied and will make it much harder to “tank” enemy waves with a single overpowered unit. Additionally the “My Castle” mechanic lets you share your creativity with others, and even battle teams created by other players.

My main criticism is the game’s story, which can be kinda nonsensical at times, but IMO this isn’t a huge deal. Unfortunately I could not finish the game because I lost my cart. :/.

Considered to be the more difficult of the two releases in comparison to its counterpart Fire Emblem #birthright. This game keeps up with the traditional elements of #fireemblem that I’ve grown to love.

The storyline kind of feels a bit like the non-canon version of the story, but the gameplay helps redeem that. #Conquest is considered harder than #birthright because their is no opportunity for grinding your characters up.

you must be strategic in whom you give your experience to, because battles are limited. Long gone are the reeking boxes of #FireEmblemAwakening. This game is a great addition to any #Nintendo3DS owner.

If you’re gonna get the physical copy and you are an experienced FE player, get Conquest. It is hard and reminds me of older FE games – but the DLC aspect does make things easier. If you are a novice get Birthright.

I am a diehard fan and got both, which has decent story for each. Revelations is the DLC only full sized game, the last of the ‘trilogy’ if you will. I love the ‘my castle’ option and gifting people stuff left and right.

And the gameplay is awesome, vast improvements from FE: Awakening. If you enjoy a story-driven strategy game try this out.

The game itself is one of the best in its franchise and one of the best DS/3DS games available. While the storyline itself is nothing special, the characters are written well and interact with each other in unique ways that make the story more engaging.

The service from the store was overall very good as well. I recieved the game faster than I had expected and in excellent condition. The slot in the case that holds the cartridge isn’t as tight as it should be but it still holds the cartridge just fine.

It’s just a knitpick as everything else was like buying the game new.

I absolutely loved this installment to the Fire Emblem series. Like many it was my first game and it got the ball rolling as far as my passion for the series. The characters and world are beautiful and their storylines are genuinely touching.

The game can be as straightforward or as difficult as you want it to be with Casual and Classic modes so it’s great for experts and beginners like myself. If you can get your hands on Awakening, I’d say buy it for sure :).

I have always been a fan of collecting “The Art Of” game and anime books. I figured it would be worth having since I’m an avid F. E Awakening fan, the game had lots of beautiful artwork after all and I was intrigued by having the character design development in my hands.

This book IS HUGE and quite heavy but worth every penny because it’s not just an art book, it’s also the entire game script! I’m talking all character dialogues with every other character on top of all the support conversations and all those epilogues at the end of the game with every result! I highly recommend this book to other collectors and avid fans of F.

E Awakening, I’d even recommend it to someone who just likes art books like this. It’s a great buy!.

Considering that this book was half the price of a new one, Id say that all of the minor scuffs and marks were worth it. My only problem was that the book was covered in a little bit of dirt, although i was able to wipe that off.

The spine is also loose.

This is a challenging turn based game, even on the easiest difficulty. The story was surprisingly interesting. A lot of customization available for different units and which ones to pair up. I highly recommend.

The Fire Emblem Series is a long established Nintendo series, dating back over 20 years. Fates is an excellent sequel. Birthright is one branch of the three part storyline and is a great start point, though it is possible to begin with Conquest first.

Essentially, the overall story involves choosing 2 paths – the player does this by choosing either Birthright or Conquest. A further storyline (Revelation) is available as a download, but you have to have either of the other two first.

Gameplay involves choosing actions in turn, rather like Pokmon, but that does not mean it is limited. There is a solid cast of characters, with developed backgrounds, together with many chances to level up and receive weapons.

There are also online gaming possibilities with extras. For a small 3DS game, played properly and unhurriedly, it will last a long time.

My boyfriend gave me some of his old 3ds games and this was one of them. I personally don’t find it very entertaining. It’s not my type of game I guess. It’s not a terrible game and apparently the story line is interesting, but I just can’t get into it.

I have yet to complete the games as of yet. I’m only ten hours in. But from my many hours spent on Fire Emblem Awakening I can tell from these ten hours that this game far surpassed my expectations, and has beat my love for Awakening out right.

It is an immersive experience with amazing visual sequences and gameplay and offers a fair and rigourous challange. In a more personal note I am now even more fond of the pairing system than I was in the previous game, and can’t wait to see the amount of pairings I can put together.

After playing all of the other more recent fire Emblem games, I had to try this, at first I thought it was going to be less interesting and a quick ending game- boy was I wrong. I ended up spending many many hours hooked on this.

Just finished the entire game. I love it! It is a great game! I will say I do prefer the Birthright/conquest, and Three Houses games much more but this is a good one to start with!.

This is the first FE game that I have ever played and beaten, and it has left me as a huge fan of the series! The gameplay is fun– strategizing with where to position your army on the grid, abilities/skills to teach alongside weapon and class config; makes this a very diff.

You will put out a lot of hours with this game! The only downside was that I wish you could select the Jpnese audio with subtitles — which some games graciously allow.

Plus, being forced to marry Chrom was not part of the plan! I wanted Stahl. lol. Recommend regardless of my forced marriage mishap!.

Honestly. I was expecting a vanity black dresser but what I instead got was an amazing SE bundle from one of my favorite franchises. The contents of the bundle you may ask…? Well, i can assure its not a dresser, or anything like that.

This is the whole pizza, 1 or 2 slices. the whole pizza, topping and all. Rather than having to buy Conquest and Birthright separately, followed by the upcoming DLC half, Revelations. you get the whole thing in one.

No sd card nonsense. It also comes with a fantastic nifty carrying pouch for your 3ds console, which i will probably be using to carry around phone chargers are junk like that, i digress. Lastly this bundle gives you an amazing art book those artsy people out there to admire and add to your FE collection.

Did I get a nice low priced black vanity dresser. ? No, but i don’t regret it either way. I highly recommend this product to any FE fan out there that can get their hands on this and hope you’re as stoked as i am for the release.

I expected this to be a better quality product. It shipped well, and the packaging was good. But the product itself was disappointing. The wood is a cheap pine, and only the front, rear and top are actually wood.

The sides and shelves are like a laminated cardboard. The pre-drilled holes weren’t exactly lined up, so the sides didn’t quite fit right and the pins that hold up the inside shelf didn’t fit into the pre-drilled pin hole, so I had to bang them in with a hammer.

The bottom shelf doesn’t have notches to make it fit properly, and so it’s not flat. Once I had it completely together, the misaligned holes mean that it doesn’t sit right and one of the legs is about 1/2″ shorter on one side, so it wobbles.

Had to cram a wedge under that one leg. I should have gone to IKEA. 7. 8/10 IGN.

This has to be my all time favorite game this year since it’s so rich in story and characters. The plot twists are sort of predictable but the all time one in Revelations was “Whoa wth is happening. ” The gameplay however isn’t my strength since strategy/tactics and I do not get along, but thankfully, Nintendo was kind to those who just want to know more of the story without getting frustrated with Phoenix Mode.

One day I plan to play it on Casual Mode, though I really don’t want to at the same time since the Conquest Mode made me so frustrated even with Phoenix. Colors definitely flew my mouth lol. Definitely buy this game and just have fun with it~.

Arrived on time. I’m about halfway through the game and everything works great. Some of the translated names don’t match what is “commonly accepted” as the characters’ names, but when looking up information (ie.

for recruitment) it’s easy to see what name it’s similar to so it truly doesn’t affect anything. The text looks good in all places and fits well. Very glad to be able to have the second part of Marth’s story.

Used, but everything’s in prime condition and packaging was clever too. Manual was included, the manual has ‘furigana over the kanji’ but the game doesn’t, (note that when you are in doubt about your language level, simplified pixel kanji can be hard to understand if you aren’t familiar with the kanji already).

The game looks beautiful. Though one should note it sadly won’t play on PAL 3DS system, even though 3DS’s DS play mode is generally region free. But it plays on my PAL DS Lite, so no complaints. 🙂 Excellent products for the fans, and the case is certainly an eye-catcher to put into the shelf.

A Fire Emblem game never released outside of Japan, now playable with a perfect translation. Problems from the previous FE game have been corrected, with character supports added. Overall, a very engaging FE game with many playable characters.

Before I started this game, Monster Hunter was the game that kept me playing in excess of 200 hours per game. I couldn’t imagine any other game which could match the MH series. Enter Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

I have clocked nearly the 300 hour mark (including 4 playthroughs – I won’t put spoilers here but you’ll find out – of the main game and a playthrough of the DLC) and all this is because of the combination of riveting stories and excellent gameplay.

The Fire Emblem series is based on its turn-based, tactical and addictive gameplay. The reason we kept coming back for more is the outcomes of relationships between members, the multiple divergent paths you can take, and the diverse number of characters you can battle with, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

The difficulty level is completely up to you. You can play super-hard and have perma-death on your characters, or you can play on casual and have any dead characters mercifully revived in the next mission.

The story is so well written, and the in-game animation during the “exploration” days in the monastery is utterly beautiful. There are so many things to do during exploration too, so it’s not just a tactical turned-base game.

This is hands-down the most unique, most beautiful game (characters especially) and character-driven Fire Emblem of all Fire Emblems. I cannot recommend enough of this game. It really caught me unaware how the game never grows old despite multiple playthroughs, because it feels different in each playthrough.

I highly recommend this – well worth the money paid for both the main game and the DLC.

Gameplay: Classic Fire Emblem. The school segments are a good chance to get to know the characters better, marred slightly by a hugely oversized hub world and repetitive nature of the activities (though I admit, I did really enjoy fishing.

) The new gambit system is somewhat gimmicky, but can come in clutch in late game. The crest system seems somewhat pointless, but I’m sure it can come in handy, too. The story can take permutations based on the choices you make, but I found it pretty lacking, in the end.

Like with Awakening, the real enjoyment is to be found in the character interactions. Byleth (the protagonist,) really has their own character, and that should be kept in mind when trying to roleplay.

Not only is this one of the best Fire Emblem Games I’ve ever played, Fire Emblem Three Houses is one of the best I’ve ever played period. It’s been a very long time where I have actually sat down and invested my free time on one game.

The presentation of Fire Emblem Three Houses is so amazing, I can’t stop playing it. Fire Emblem Three Houses tries many new things with it’s gameplay that have never been done before in any other entry, but it still maintains the true heart of the Fire Emblem Series which makes this one of the best in the series.

The attention to detail is exquisite, right down to the NPCs who even have their own little identities. The Difficulty is well balanced and is easy to understand the gameplay mechanics. Does this have have any drawbacks? It does, but they are so minor it’s not worth mentioning them.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems as well as Koei Tecmo should be proud of what a Masterpiece they have made. Fire Emblem Three Houses is a must have for Nintendo Switch and would highly recommend it for not only RPG enthusiasts but Anime Lovers as well.

A perfect Fire Emblem game and a Perfect game in General. You simply cannot have a Nintendo Switch without Fire Emblem Three Houses.

Der Untertitel ist ihm zu schnell und da das Spiel auf englisch mit deutschem Untertitel ist, ist es an manchen Stellen der Story wohl doof! Aber sonst steht er voll drauf.
