20 Best Lock On Grease Coupler (2023 Updated)

If you have a grease gun without LockNLube, get LockNLube and you will wonder why you waited so long. My excuse is I never knew about LockNLube until I watched a video on greasing while looking for tips on airlocks in grease guns.

He said 1st thing you do is change the Coupler to LockNLube. Then I watched him easily put on LockNLube and then grease his tractor. Amazing, easy to attach, easy to remove from the tractor and no grease all over the tractor.

I used it on my tractor as soon as it arrived in the mail and Holy S*&t! it really worked! Half of the zerks on my tractor I couldn’t push hard enough to keep a good connection and had gobs of grease on my fitting and no grease going in.

This was a life saver, I will grease more now that it isn’t such a task. Only 1 fitting I can’t get to because of hoses in the way. I also have 1 zerk that seems clogged and will look into the LockNLube grease buster tool.

If you grease and don’t have LockNLube now, you really need it. Your life will be easier.

Purchased this item after buying a similar/cheaper coupler like this that failed (leaked badly around the coupler jaws) in less than 10 grease fittings. There were no adjustments or replacement parts so I had to get another coupler.

This one works really well and is supplied with replacement jaws should parts ever have to be replaced. This “thing” is a great accessory and I won’t have to worry about replacing zerk fittings that get pulled out when removing the grease gun (don’t ask me how many press-fit zerks I have in a bottle).

I can’t even begin to calculate how many gallons of grease I’ve wasted over the years with the usual song-and-dance: 1. Attach gun. 2. Squeeze. 3. Grease oozes out of the coupler, falls directly onto your boots.

4. Curse loudly. 5. Remove coupler, and wipe away wasted grease. 6. Repeat steps 2 through 5 several more times. 7. Give up and go to the store and buy more grease. and new boots. Since I’ve started using this thing, I don’t think I’ve wasted a single ounce of grease.

The grease goes where it’s supposed to go. The coupler does not leak. It does not come off. I can’t tell you how much easier it makes maintenance on the various pieces of farm equipment I have. Seriously, how do I give this thing 12 stars?.

This coupler lived up to its description. Unlike my conventional grease couplers which either pop off the fitting or squirt grease between the coupler and the fitting, this coupler actually did what it was supposed to do.

It locked securely onto each of the 11 fittings on the front end of my car. All grease was loaded into the various joints, with none squirting out between the coupler and the fitting. I was initially concerned that since this coupler is twice as long as a regular coupler, it might not work on every fitting due to clearance issues.

But that didn’t happen, and there was enough room to get the job done. A tight clearance in other applications might be a problem for some people due to the coupler length.

A good buddy bought and gave me one of these to try. I have to admit that I looked at one but got distracted and never bought it, now I’m glad to have one gifted to me. This thing is amazing in how easy it fits any ZERK plus it holds like nobodies business.

I’m a retired mechanic both auto and heavy equipment and used a lot of grease guns with normal fittings and this thing would have saved me a lot of hassle and time. I only service a few friends cars and pickups now and this is one chore I almost look forward to.

I have it on my BIG NAME BATTERY POWERED Grease gun and it takes just one hand. I just press the lever, slide it onto a Zerk Fitting and use the same hand to pull the trigger. the rest is up to the fitting to hold tight and push the grease into bearings and then just release the lever and really no mess to speak of.

I plan on giving these to others as gifts now. well worth the price and quality and besides this is a gift that IS useful and won’t just get thrown into some drawer and never used.

If you have more than a couple of joint to grease, you need a locking connector like this. With several pieces of farm and construction equipment, there is always something to grease. This attachment will lock onto the fitting and help force grease into the joint without popping off.

Great for hard to grease joint. I’m glad I opted for this addition to the grease gun. Seems that it should be a standard feature on a high end grease gun.

Worked well for my project. Needed 3 hands. This grease coupler took care of that problem. 1 hand to pull the trigger on the grease gun. 1 hand to hold grease gun fitting onto zerc fitting=coupler. 1 hand to slowly spin tire while greasing EZ lube axle bearings on motorcycle trailer.

I have two trailers and the coupler worked on the 4 fittings with no leaking on the zerc fitting. It gave a tight fit to the zerc fitting.

I have several pieces of equipment on my farm from lawn tractors to 60,000 pound excavator and a bulldozer. Some of the fittings are so hard to get into that holding the grease gun on and putting in grease is just almost impossible.

Don’t get them confused with the cheap plastic knock-offs. The real deal is a fantastic third hand to help keep your equipment lubed up and working great. After I bought my first one I liked it so much I bought another one.

You can’t go wrong with these.

I should have bought this years ago. Greasing machinery can be a real pain when you have to hold the nozzle from popping off wasting grease and time. Lock & Lube’s locking jaws makes a difficult job easy and cuts down on the maintenance time with no waste.

Easiest grease coupler you can use. I bought this coupler specifically for grease fittings that are threaded into plastic wheels. Standard grease couplers were pulling the grease fittings out of the plastic wheels when trying to remove the grease gun, this coupler prevents that.

You press the lever to clip it onto the grease fitting and press it again to remove it. No unnecessary twisting or pulling to remove.

The good, you can certainly feel the quality of this gun compared to others I have used. Heavy duty, long hose (great for my use), love the clamp on end (the short/original) This fits on all but 2 of the 16 zerks per machine.

Total of 80 zerks I am greasing every 2 weeks so I am needing a grease gun to make this job easy. The bad, after one machine, gun lost prime. Followed the directions to re prime. Had to take apart and start over.

Got working again to then stop working shortly after. I ended up taking the hose and locking end off to put on my old gun to finish the job. Unfortunately, I am disappointed on the actual gun but do find a few parts of it useful and good quality.

I am new to grease guns so I bought a relatively cheap one with pretty good reviews off Amazon. It was a total piece of junk. I couldn’t prime it and never got it to actually pump grease even after watching numerous videos for tips and tricks.

Decided to spend the extra money on a quality LockNLube grease gun and it worked effortlessly. Loaded the grease and like 10-15 pumps later the gun was primed and ready to use! Don’t waste your money elsewhere.

I finally got my Can Am Maverick greased up. I went through two so-called Pro guns from two different common parts stores fighting the nozzles and having the gun handles/pumps fail. The only place I couldn’t live were two suspension points where the new locknlube nozzle was two long for the area.

Otherwise, the nozzle locks positively and the gun holds up to a normal lube job. I’d recommend the LockNLube nozzles to anyone who does any regular maintenance. Awesome product.

This product makes my life easier as I have to try and grease up various old military vehicles. I can now do the job of greasing up the prop shafts in half the time. The attachment gets the grease into exactly where it needs to go rather than all over the outside.

A good value product.

Only used this G coupler on a few machines but so far it has a good tight fit on the grease nipple so no leakage even on nipples which are at a difficult angle so are normally a pain to get grease into.

Seems well built and solid but will have to wait and see how long it lasts, will prob buy another if it gets worn. Only downside is its more bulky than a standard tip so it is very hard to get it attached if you can’t get your hand close to the nipple as you need to hold down the trigger to attach it, will solve this problem by having 2 grease guns on hand with different tips as this one is much easier to use 95% of the time.

I had some nipples that just would not take grease with my screwfix bought gun and messed grease around the nipple. Tried this GCoupler and all my drive shaft nipples accepted grease again without any mess.

I get about as much grease on the machine as I get in it, a mess, no it is not because of a bad zerk , I change the zerk fittings and put a good quality zerk that I have used for years , my customers demand good work , and I provide a good tool and product and this is not a good product,, I have used Lincoln grease guns and zerks for years , almost 60 years.

I bought this thinking it would be of high quality- I found not true, the PowerLock leaked from day 1. literally every time I have tried to grease something, it would just spew out grease. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!.

My original review discussed the frustration I had with this. I called the support people and was advised that this 90° fitting requires you to loosen the screw fitting a bit, install it, and then screw it tight to fasten it to the grease fitting.

I was advised to loosen it just enough to permit the 90° fitting to connect to the grease fitting and that the loose pieces were part of the design. I then tried this without having the grease gun connected to the other end of the 90° fitting and was able to get it to fasten to the fitting – major progress for me.

Prior to this, I had tried to connect w the grease gun already connected. I then tried to connect the gun’s end to the 90° fitting – and due to the grease fitting placement, found this problematic. This grease fitting’s placement was particularly inconvenient.

After looking at other avenues of connection, I settled on one that enabled me to connect the grease gun to the 90° fitting and keep all fittings connected. I was successful in delivering the grease into the fitting for the first time.

In light of this, the fitting does its job, however if the grease fitting is in a particularly inconvenient place, it is important to first connect the 90° fitting to the grease fitting and then connect the gun to the 90° fitting, making certain all connections remain intact.

While this level of detail is substantial, it does enable greasing the grease fitting due to its placement and nothing else worked before. This product does the job on the particularly inconveniently placed grease fittings – but it may take a bit more maneuvering than first believed.

In my case, nothing else worked and this makes this 90° fitting the component that enabled successful greasing.

It was a good purchase. The technique of tightly connecting to my grease gun connector took some repeated trials to prevent the grease from coming out of the grease gun-to-LockNLub connection interface.

The LockNLube 90 Degree Grease Coupler Adapter was the only solution to getting a connection to a grease fitting in a very tight area on the top of the grease fitting. So glad their was a solution.

Lots of look-alikes out there. This one is made very well. Good solid materials with an excellent finish. There are cheaper look-alikes that cost less, but you get what you pay for. Because of idiot engineering, its impossible to grease this unit without this miracle attachment.

The manufacturer press-fit the grease fitting into place, so no threads, there’s no replacing it with a right angle fitting. It’s to tight to tap if you forced off the factory fitting. So unless you want to rip down the entire auger assembly you need this great attachment.

Snapped in VERY securely and didn’t allow any leakage at the connection. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I have a new Ariens snow blower with the tracks. They put a zerk on the right side, inside the track area that is very hard to get to. I’m not sure I could reach it with even a very small right angle.

Not much room for that and a hand to push it on and off. Thought I’d give this a try. I watched the video and saw how it had to kind of snap into place. I couldn’t get it to do that, but then put it in a deep socket with and extension and with that holding it, it snapped right on.

It was swiveling in place and it was hard to get the grease gun connected but finally did. I used a pneumatic gun and gave it a short trigger pull. the grease went in where it was supposed to and not anywhere else.

Pulled on the grease gun hose to pull it off and the whole unit came off of the zerk just perfect. Probably the only use I have for that but it works and is worth it. The dealer said they pull the tracks off when they need to grease there.

I now purchased the 5″ straight LocknLube coupler which will assist with this but also make it much easier to do the car, truck and boat.

could not grease spindles on my J. D. mower deck. Removed deck. Didn’t help. Bought different grease gun. No luck there either. Watched a utube video where the lock n lube attachment was used. Liked what I saw.

Ordered that day. When it came, it only took 15 minutes to successfully grease all three spindles. Great product!.

I bought a new Performance Tool grease gun to replace one that was about 40 years old. The old one never got stuck (American made “back in the day”) on the fitting. I grew up a farm and greasing equipment was one of my main jobs.

Never had a grease gun coupler get stuck. So, imagine my surprise when the new fitting coupler was a pain in the neck to remove from the beginning. I bought a second Performance Tool grease gun. Still has the same problem.

I bought just the coupler. Still has the same problem. I suspect that a foreign country tried to reverse engineer it but without understanding how it was supposed to work missed the mark.

I replaced the original coupler on a HarborFreight grease gun with this one and it works much better

It would lock onto grease nipples on my tractor and would not release nipple or whatever they are called and ended up pulling one out of my tractor. I tried everything to get it to release, never had this problem before.

I’ve always hated the drip, drip, drip from the barrel of a grease gun. I started putting them in a bucket many years ago, to prevent the constant mess. So, when I saw these while looking at the grease guns on your site, I thought it would go well with the gun I was ordering.

Getting the cap on was a pretty tough stretch until I smeared a very small amount of grease around the inside of it. It then went on without a fight. Great Idea! Thanks!.

I have been around heavy machinery especially class 8 trucks for most of my adult life. Greasing is always a messy job. Thank you LNL for such a wonderful product. The coupler is the best. Stays on and the lube goes where it’s supposed to.

Over the years I have purchased other so called couplers and not one worked as good as the LNL brand. I personally called Jay last week and congratulated him on such a premium product. I wanted to purchase the accessory coupler kit but unfortunately it was out of stock.

These barrel caps work great. They keep my grease gun area clean. I use the blue for my Marine grease, the red caps for my red&tacky grease and so on.

Well designed and well made product. Goes on the zerk fitting snugly and most importantly doesn’t leak grease while using it. Quite pricey but I recommend it for those fittings that you just can’t grease for lack of space.

This product takes all the contortion out of lubing my autos. Slips right on, a couple of pumps on the grease gun and it’s done. No more fighting with the 180 degree, straight angle, coupler.

I use it to get into tight areas on commercial exhaust fan bearings. Cannot reach with regular fittings. Easy on and easy off.

The lockNlube grease is great for single hand usage. I really enjoy the locking on the zert and allowing grease to go into the area better. The only suggestion would be to improve the gripping texture on handle on the LockNlub.

You get grease on your fingers, it make it difficult to push it on the next zert. The swivel connection work great and keeps the grease gun hose from twisting up, only issue observed is the extra extension length make it difficult to get onto close areas and connect properly with the zert head.

I corrected some of these zert with replacement zerts that are angled. The swivel and lack of friction area of the LockNlube does get very slick and need to use cloth rag to place the LockNlub onto the zerts after greasing coiuple of zerts.

YES, I would purchase these again, they have improve the greasing procedure efficiency. and have less grease waste at the zert connection.

I bought this with the normal lock and lube attachment and all I can say is WOW! Time is money and and I’d rather make it then waste it these products are amazing quality and turn a 30min job into a 5min job to anyone who made the investment into an expensive machine that requires greese $40 for the pair to improve maintenance times is a no brainer y’all found the right products from a great company this stuff is stout! Shipping was quick too less then 5 days!.

The hose swivel is the cats meow for any grease gun at all. The longer lock n lube coupler was the answer to my compact tractors recessed grease fittings. I put these two on my new battery Milwaukee grease gun hose and this made my life a lot easier and enjoyable.

The Recessed fitting adapter is a really great item, it saves me from trying to grease a Zerk that’s quite difficult to reach. It’s a real time saver and works as advertised. , Lock N Lube products are ideal to works with.

I have tried others but they lock on too tight and break zerks. This is a good coupler, slips on easily and stays locked while greasing. We average 3 months of daily heavy use per coupler in our truck shop before it needs replacement.

I got these to keep in stock for our mechanics to use with the grease Lincoln grease guns we already have. According to the mechanics these work better then the ones that came with their guns. And the fitting is small enough to get in some of the smaller areas.

Love these. They have 3 jaw inserts and actually will let go of the dang zerk, unlike others that seem to clamp onto it and never let go.

Does what it’s intended to do. NOTE: The tip unscrews—it must be loosened a tad, so the zerk fitting on the needle injector can be released to be removed.

I had changed a few parts on my car and they cane with greaseable joints. Mainly the tie rods was what I needed to grease. I had a grease gun but when I went to use it, it got grease everywhere but the joint.

It was really frustrating me. So I bought this to replace the old one. Worked like a charm and I was able to grease everything in a matter of minutes. While with the old one I was strugling with for a very long time.

The coupler I had on my grease gun would leak around the zerk fitting and grease was not getting into the bearing. Replaced it with this coupler and problem solved. The only down size is that it is more difficult to remove the coupler from the zerk, but that’s the tradeoff for a coupler that doesn’t leak.

Hands down the best grease fitting coupler. It kinda clicks onto the fitting and you dont even need to hold the hose of the grease gun while greasing.

Weak! Do not grab fitting. Push on easy. Have to push on them to make them seal. SAD!
