Best Loadout For Mp40 Vanguard (2024 Updated)

So many options! Veteran Space Marines with jump packs and all the bits! Sweet kit! Actually it’s my second one. I purchased the second so I could have one squad with Thunder Hammers and one with lightning claws.

GW only puts four of each in a box probably so I would buy two! That’s ok I’m running both anyways because they are sweet! On a side note, there are so many extra bits that you can outfit other first born squads and even characters with some sweet gear too.

The current “in” kit for space marines looking to be active in the fight phase. My only complaint is the joint for the storm shield hand to the wrist is a little wonky, they don’t really look natural in any configuration.

Keep in mind, there are only 4 thunder hammers, 4 storm shields, and 4 pairs of lightning claws, so fully kitting the squad with the same gear (currently 1 lightning claw and a storm shield for the whole squad) is not possible without conversion work or spare bits from another kit.

This is a set Ive always wanted for a long time and Im happy to finally have it. The details on the models themselves are really good. Better than the Assault Squad. They play similar to the Assault Squad but have much better weapons choices.

The Axe was just what I was looking for. The right handed axe fit the model well, as well as looked the part. I needed something of a decent size for the model, and it turned out to look the part – thanks.

In addition, they did not cut from the sprue too close to the model, so I had the chance of cutting the small sprue parts off myself and then removing the line. That was good of them – also thanks!.

Arrived super quick and in perfect state. Super happy with this. And Vanguard vets. are dificult to find this days.

Great Space Marine upgrade weaponry, especially when creating a special character or squad. An easy way to simply attach or graft onto existing hands/arms, creating a more robust/armored Marine serving the Emperor.

Very happy with this backpack so far. Lots of storage pockets and adjustability inside. Was able to carry my Canon Mark 4 DSLR with 4 lenses inside (including the L series 70-200 and 100-400). A bit of weight on my back when loaded, but with the strap adjustments was able to walk around the city all afternoon fairly comfortably.

The side access was also very user friendly. Would have to loosen the back straps and slide it off one shoulder to reach it but quickly get the camera in/out of the pack and I’ve got it back in place and secured again.

The holder for a water bottle was a nice plus. Did not try out carrying a tripod yet. No trouble fitting in overhead compartment on the plane.

Wanted a camera bag that I could use professionally, but also when travelling. As a result, two of my main criteria were that it doesn’t look too much like a camera bag (so it doesn’t attract attention while travelling); and also that you can only access the gear from the back of it to prevent theft.

It’s surprising how few camera bags fit this bill! But I absolutely love this one. Comfortable to wear, feels really durable and has loads of extra pockets. I also like that you can attach it to a suitcase handle, and that there’s space for extras like your lunch and clothes.

I have two other Vanguard backpacks I love, but this one is not useful. They state on this website that a digital SLR can fit in it. They have photos that show a DSLR in it. The pads they use in the photos are not in the bag.

It’s too small by far. This backpack is terrible. I’m an inveterate traveler and this bag is not useful for any mode of transportation. Sending it back to Amazon. Vanguard can design a better Molle bag than this.

Pros: It will keep your gear safe, enough space for all of your equipment. Cons: Colour is more of a military green/beige, looks very sturdy but not in a good way. Definitely looks like a camera bag which isn’t always a look one’s would like.

Bringing a tripod with you might be annoying- you can attach a bit to hold it more securely but I didn’t like it that much, still felt rather awkward. Lack space for any non-camera related stuff. At the end returned it and got a different camera bag.

A safe backpack, handy shoulder bag or a bag to be carried in your hand like a suitcase. Good workmanship, resistance to moisture, protective coating of the bottom and front part, well-thought-out interior solution.

Along with DLSM and 3 lenses, charger and private handy stuff, it will even fit my MSI GS72 6QE Stealth Pro 17 ! Yes, it is True Allrounder! Great value for money.

I am always on the lookout for a lightweight backpack for my DSLR that won’t break my back. I am pretty sure the VEO Select 41 is it! It fits all my accessories in their own spots – all easily accessable from the outside.

A huge plus for me is that when I’m ready to shoot, I can lay the bag down flat, unzip the back and have visible access to everything I need via the back where you can unzip the bag, without exposing my wallet and keys too! There is no need to dig around and lose minutes with this bag, everything is accessable! It fits my laptop, making it a perfect travel bag too.

It fits under the seat infront of me on a flight, so if I can’t take my rolling bag on with me, I can grab the essentials and know they are safe and will arrive at my destination, with my backups under the plane, my main gear can safely stay with me.

If I could give it more than five stars I would. It is sleek and stylish – as a woman, I am very keen on carrying this bag – it isn’t trying too hard to be feminine and it isn’t such a “dude bag” that I don’t feel stylish carrying it.

The magnetic hold downs for the tabs on the side are a great touch and keep the bag’s form. There are so many areas to clip things on to keep them within reach and it comes with a rain cover as well.

This bag will definitely accompany me to the mountains.

Yep, if you want a top of the range salon car that is going to go miles and miles, you go for a Merc. For bags, with lotsa oomph and quality, there are plenty but they are priced out of the ballpark.

Becos they are so called small startups. Vanguard being a long established company can now lay claim to being the Merc of Camera and Outdoor Bags. I bought the Model 41M from Japan and then the Model 49M Select here from Vanguard.

No, they are not heavy bags and they are not for hiking to the mountains, I live in the city and travel around to other parts of the world usually with a heavy kits. You will appreciate also the good zips and details only a Japanese team in Vanguard can do.

The two greatest things about this bag are – The look is clean, professional, but doesn’t appear expensive – The two tiered system That first point is really important to me. Having an expensive looking bag is all well and good if you’re always in very safe environments where nice looking things don’t make you a target, but that’s unrealistic.

Most of the time, I want something that looks clean and not out of place in a professional environment, but doesn’t scream look at me! There is expensive gear inside! Come steal me! And to that end, this bag fits the bill just perfectly.

Just looking from the outside, you wouldn’t know if this bag was purchased at an expensive store, or a Target or Walmart. I would say it strikes that perfect balance, creating that mystery at how much it probably cost.

Either way, it doesn’t demand attention, and for me, that’s idea. The second thing I truly love about this bag is the lower shelf below the main camera section. here you can hold spare gear you don’t need to access very quickly, or you can hold a long narrow lends, or two to three shorter lenses.

What I use it for is to hold my tripod. And that is WONDERFUL!!!! I often want to bring a tripod with me on a day of shooting, but for almost every other bag, a good sized camera bag is designed to carry the tripod on the outside.

Nothing screams I’m a camera bag! steal me like a tripod strapped to the outside of a pack. Now, with a backpack, some narrower tripods are designed to be carried inside the pack. The Peak Design tripod comes to mind.

But for me, backpacks have their own drawbacks. and this pack allows the tripod to be concealed in the lower section, along with a few small items. — While I didn’t list it as a plus, one obvious advantage to a bag like this is it’s ability to swallow a 16 Macbook pro.

Overall, this is one seriously exceptional bag, and going forward, for a full travel day including flights, I imagine this will be my goto bag for many years to come. Excellent job, Vanguard, you’ve successfully created the bag I’ve imagined and been looking for for many many years.

I’m just ordered my 3rd MP10 Wet Side Assembly. Both previous units broke their ceramic shaft bearing, I believe due to calcium precipitation. I’m buying a jar of Citric Acid with this 3rd one, and intend to fully disassemble and soak it weekly.

Whether that works out long term or not, this will be the last MP10 wet side I buy. Years ago there weren’t great alternatives to a Vortech, but that’s no longer the case. 2 stars because I do like my vortech, when it’s working.

After spending over$700 on two MP40 pumps back in late [REDACTED] (less than 4 years ago), I’ve had both of my pumps fail. Along the way, I took Immaculate care of the pumps. I’m one of those people where I clean them on a regular basis.

Although configuring the schedules were a bit difficult via the difficult to use user interface (GUI), overall I found these to be very good in terms of performance. However, reliability is another factor altogether.

Not long after I bought the pumps I noticed that the Wet Side would sometimes fall off. Other times the dry side would fall off. Either way, for some reason the magnetic coupling between the wet and dry side would not be strong enough to hold the two together.

I contacted Ecotech to ask if I have a defective pump, and they told me no I do not have a defective pump and gave me some troubleshooting tips which didn’t fix the issue. They said this is a common failure mode and it means the pump needs to be replaced.

They did offer me a discount on two new pumps (if paid to mail my pumps in and have them try to fix them) but the discount wasn’t that much. So overall, although these pumps performed very well, I would highly recommend others to seek out alternative pumps.

I’ve been in the aquarium industry for over thirty years, have used just about every pump on the market and have never had a pump fail on me in this short of time. The fact that I had multiple pumps fail with the same failure mode is especially bad.

More importantly, in each case where I’ve had a pump fail, sometimes after 10 years, the manufacturers have done an amazing job at standing behind their product and sending me a replacement. I have a lot of respect for Ecotech as a company as they have a lot of innovations, however, I’m very disappointed that they left me high and dry in this case.

Especially when I’ve invested in many other products they sell. As a result, I’m going to be reluctant to buy Ecotech products as they are very costly and are apparently expected to have a short life span.

When you pay a premium price for products of this caliber, these are not the kind of failures you expect and you especially don’t expect the manufacturer to tell you that this is typical and that you have the buy another pump from them.

Bought two of these to replace what I had in my (now rebuilt) 300G tank. Apparently, these things atre known to crack and rust, so I wasn’t surprised to have to replace them. Very quiet, just like the originals.

Took them out of the box, coupled to my dry sides, and off they went to work. Very pleased.

Hey, 17 Primarus Space Marines in 3 units! At about $6 per model, it’s a great deal because this hobby gets expensive!

Although I am a relative “newbie”, I have played other racquet sports. My initial experience with the S2 Vanguard (midweight @ 8. 1 oz) was that it was too “soft”. I liked the shorter handle, as I bought it for greater control, but found that my softer shots required a stronger stroke.

However, once I added some lead tape around both sides of the top of the paddle (a tip I got from a pro who plays with a Selkirk S2), it had a more “solid” feel, and the larger sweet spot I wanted was there.

I was told to “play with the heaviest paddle you can handle (obviously within reason)”, and my game has improved with the heavier paddle. I am pleased with the paddle.

Moving up in rating I acquired the popular Onix Z5 with honeycomb core, graphite which helped over the first basic paddle. I decided to move up to the Selkirk Amped Omni and quickly became used to it’s advantages.

I cannot help but place my thumb and fingers on a paddle so the longer paddle shape is for me. When I became a snowbird between New York & Florida I did not want to take a paddle back & forth with me.

so I took the Z5 to FL. What a huge mistake! Could not play at all. so I decided to get another Selkirk. My brother clued me in to the new Vanguard. Wow!. feel like a new player. this thing has feel; It has pace.

unreal. I would recommend it to the extreme.

Having recently played with the awesome Amped series of paddles, I decided to go with the Vanguard. While the Amped gave me a little more power, the Vanguard gives me better ability to absorb power shots and more easily re-set into the **** game.

Say what you will but this game is about control. Having the consistency to control the ball in the short game is the key to me. Yes, I can still slam and drive shots but I feel more control with the Vanguard, if even minutely.

If it’s time for you to “level up,” then this is your means to get there.
