20 Best Litter For Guinea Pigs (2023 Updated)

I didn’t think I’d like this, but I actually do now that I’ve tried it. I lined the floor of our hamster’s cage with this, which we have inside of an aquarium, and then put a deep box of fluffy bedding in the corner of the aquarium as well.

He prefers to potty in the fluffy bedding, so that makes cleaning easier. I can clean replace the fluffy bedding and leave these as is. He did try eating some the first day we put it in, but after trying it he doesn’t do that anymore.

The Kaytee Wood Pellets were purchased for use in our guinea pig’s cage and are a great option for moisture absorption. The small pellets expand immediately upon getting wet making it easy to see any areas that need to be cleaned.

I love that this product is all-natural (contains no additives or artificial colors) and only requires changing weekly. If properly kept (soiled areas removed promptly) the odor control is good.

I use this litter for my guinea pig as well as my birds and I was pleasantly surprised! I did not think the wood pellets would be able to capture a lot of the liquid and smell but it surprisingly does! I have used a ton of different bedding‘s and this one I would say would be in my top three, which is good because I found some great bedding’s.

I will be buying again in the future. .

I like the idea of this bedding. It’s supposed to work similar to cat litter, but I won’t be using it with my cockatiel. Across the back of the package it states multiple times not to let your bird eat it.

My cockatiel is practically a toddler, so keeping anything out of his mouth is impossible. I don’t feel comfortable putting something in his cage that he could get hurt from. My bird likes to climb all over, so if he goes to the bottom to pick up a sunflower seed, I don’t want him getting hurt scooping up the bedding with it.

I won’t use it, and I wouldn’t recommend unless you have a cage with a barrier between the bird and the bedding without them being able to reach it.

I bought this in a pinch because every local store and online was out of Kaytee’s corn cob cage liner. It’s significantly smaller and a lot darker in color, both of which make a messy cage bottom stand out after just 2-3 days.

With the corn cob I could go 5-7 days in between changes. I don’t recommend for bird cage liner.

This all natural litter for birds. yes birds is awesome! It’s made from walnut shells so it’s natural and safe for their fragile little bodies! It’s easy to scoop the dropping or mess out and just add more to, or toss away what’s a mess in the catch all tray at the bottom.

I usually use old newspaper or puppy pads at the bottom of the cage but this is a cage changer and makes life easy.

I got these GuineaDad liners for my little Princess, Aurora and my Prince Toby. They absolutely love them!! It was excited popcorning by both when felt how soft and comfy the GuineaDad liners are. They stretch out and yawn then fall asleep.

It was the same response from King Cymba when I purchased the first GuineaDad liner for him. That’s 3 of my 5 piggies that have and love their GuineaDad liners. I will be purchasing 4 more for my other 2 guys, Maverick and Mustang.

This litter has been a total game changer. I’m not supposed to mention all the competitors by name, but I will say that I’ve been scooping litter for multiple cats for over 40 years and have tried pretty much everything, and this BLOWS EVERYTHING ELSE AWAY, including its sister clay product by the same maker.

Although the gray pro bags of Boxie clump really well, I used to dread scooping the boxes because of the strain on my elbow and hand from sifting through that heavy clay. (I’m a musician, so I’m super careful with my hands.

) This litter CLUMPS EVEN BETTER than the pro edition of Boxie, to my utter amazement, but it’s LIGHT and EASY TO SIFT through. I’m sure the glow will wear off at some point but, after two weeks of using this, I actually still kind of enjoy scooping my 6 (!!!) litter boxes.

If I could include a shrug emoji here, I would. It’s just such a pleasure to have it be so freaking easy after years of struggle and to be able to leave my cats with fresh and clean smelling boxes. Some reviewers have commented on the smell.

I actually find THE MILD BARLEY SCENT MUCH MORE PLEASANT AND LESS PUNGENT than the clay pro edition. It also seems to me that my cats SPRAY against the litter box walls LESS FREQUENTLY with the barley than they did with the clay – it still happens occasionally but not nearly as often, and that also simplifies box cleaning dramatically.

Because the litter clumps so well, it does require a little more effort than the clay edition to detach the clumps from the sides or bottom of the box, but that’s a small price to pay for sifting through what really almost feels like air for the rest of the box.

You find those clumps super quickly and easily. Oh, and I forgot the whole reason I first bought it – it’s super light and easy to carry. Now that just feels like a bonus. After swapping out one box per day for the first three or four days, I swapped out the rest of my boxes, and that was the last time I’ll be carrying those heavy loads of clay around.

Hallelujah! Could not recommend this litter more highly unless it scooped itself. Have been blabbing to everyone I know about it and waiting all week to have the time to write a proper review at my computer rather than just 5-starring on my phone.

I was super excited about this litter (as excited as one gets at the prospect of minimizing the evidence of cat poo) when I ordered it and again when I poured it into the sparkling clean litter boxes.

The litter is fine, seems very soft for kitties’ feet, has very little fragrance, and is extremely low dust. I normally use Everclean Unscented, but I don’t care for the smell (it had a light fragrance to it) and I HATE how dusty it is.

Those are the two reasons I began my latest journey in search of a new litter. This Boxiecat litter is wonderfully easy to scoop. HOWEVER, it does not do well with odor control. Not as well as Everclean, at least.

I am very sad because I really love this litter in every other way. Please note that I live in an apartment, so it may have enough odor control if you don’t need to spend time in the same room as the litter boxes.

I clean their boxes about once a day. The odor is terrible for a while after and subsides to a low-key unpleasant after that.

i gotta admit, i laughed at this product when i first saw it on the shelf. i mean. probiotic CAT LITTER??? but then i googled it & the reviews seemed overall really good, so i thought I’d give it a shot.

i have two cats, one of whom is elderly and VERY particular about her litter, & I’ve been trying to find an unscented litter that a) actually clumped and 2) didn’t smell to high heaven. i put this litter in one litterbox & left the previous litter brand in the other litterbox.

(tidy cats 4 in 1, in case you’re curious. ) & then i let my cats choose! within 2 days they were both using the boxiecat litter exclusively. i liked how firmly it clumped & that it doesn’t smell at all even if i forget to scoop it for a few days.

YMMV depending on how. pungent. your cats are, but personally i have stopped laughing at the concept of probiotic cat litter. it also doesn’t seem to track any worse than tidy cats, so I’m content & have switched to this brand entirely! i go through it less quickly because it works to combat smells for so long, so even the comparatively higher price is not noticeable.

i would definitely recommend giving it a try! if you hate it, just return the remaining litter. it’s Target, they’ll take anything back. :p.

Our cat’s been using this litter without any issues, but with the last shipment we noticed that it was a little shorter and thinner and a very dusty. Our cat doesn’t like small sized litter as it gets stuck in paws and bothers him to the point where he’s scared to step on it.

Now he poops outside the box, and you can’t say it’s a behavioral issue because he tries to use it. He’s afraid to dig in there, the litter sticks in his paws and either hurts his feet or scares him so he runs out of the box.

Now we have to switch back to pine which has larger pellets. That’s really upsetting because this litter really doesn’t have any scent. The reason that most people use pellets is their cat prefers a larger texture versus a fine grained texture.

Our cat is a Maine Coon, he has big paws and he doesn’t like small grains stuck between his pads. If our cat liked a finer texture we’d use a wheat litter. Just feedback to the company if you’re making pellets make pellets.

If you’re making something more fine grained make a fine grained litter. But, don’t change it, and don’t make it in between. With litter consistency is key.

One downside to this product is that the pellets are large so that the clean pellets didn’t sift out when I was scooping the box, but I didn’t want a scoop with bigger holes or I wouldn’t catch the little rabbit poos.

I solved this by getting a poop screen for the box that sits on top of the litter. This way I can easily lift out the poos, and then just scoop out the wet litter underneath. The other downside is that the pellets do start to fall apart like sawdust when they are wet.

The upside is that this litter is AMAZING at odor control (very good for rabbit pee) and is very absorbent. For those reasons, I still recommend this product.

I have tried everything , trying to litter train our bunny has not been easy. But with this I have finally done it. It not only absorbs all the smells completely, but it’s clean and easy and she will actually go to it now.

If you’re trying to potty train a rabbit this is what I have done and it has worked fantastic. I recommend getting the largest litter box that will comfortably fit either in their habitat or area , I got the mashall’s high back litter pan, then just place thin layer of this liter in bottom.

It doesn’t need to be deep just enough to cover the bottom of pan. Then place handful of its hay in back corner of litter box and voila ! All done. You want to make sure you get a pan large enough for your bunny to fit entirely inside and I refill hay each day and I just dump out the used litter once a day or every other day depending on how full it is.

For anyone else who is having as much trouble as I was , I hope this helps.

I LOVE this product – some of the other beddings are compressed, so they are harder to get out of the packaging and use. I love that this is a loose packed substrate. The resealable bag is a super nice touch, as this is a big bag that will last a long time.

The bedding is super soft and absorbent (and looks nice in his cage). The packaging says it’s made with post-consumer recycled paper, so it’s good for the Earth as well! Would 100% recommend this product for anyone with a Guinea Pig, Hamster, Rats, any rodent.

or even birds!.

I started using this litter for my ferrets, and this is the best—by far—of other types of litter I’ve tried. It’s super soft and absorbent, doesn’t get tracked around their cage, and I was shocked at how well it controls odor.

This litter also seemed to last longer than similar products, and I very much appreciate the resealable bag! As someone who is environmentally conscious, it’s a huge bonus that it’s made from 100% recycled paper and biodegradable.

These are very close to yesterday’s news pellet litter. My rabbit doesn’t notice a difference and they are just as absorbent. My only problem is the bag is smaller, so it doesn’t last as long. Also it’s a bit more expensive.

I bought this bedding about 2 months ago in store and just now used it after my last bedding ran out. I bought this bedding because it was the biggest bag and cheaper. Little did I know how dusty and dirty it was.

I had a giant clump of dust the size of my hand. Bought a different bedding and will be immediately changing out the bedding. I feel horrible for putting my hamster in here, but I had no other choice at the moment and I thought it would be safer then soiled bedding, little did I know.

Thank God it’s only been 2 days because my hamster was covered in dust when I took her out to let her play in her play pin! She was even sneezing. Absolutely awful. How can a company create this for a small animal that easily gets raspatory infections? Petco needs to take this off their shelves.

This is why I don’t buy from Petco that often. I know this is a third party product, but come on.

I tried this one for a few bedding changes but decided the name brand just works better and switched back. This one is soft and absorbent, but doesn’t control the odor for as many days between changes.

I have a girl gang of four mice in a 40gal tank. I use a 50/50 mix of paper bedding and aspen shavings. With the So Phresh, I would notice the smell of the mice when I went to play with them around day 7 after a change.

With the name brand, I don’t notice the smell until day 10-12. I like to wait about 14 days to change the bedding so the mice aren’t stressed too often. If you have a smaller habitat, or pets that choose a pee corner (rather than peeing anywhere like mice) you probably won’t be able to tell the difference!.

I love this product, it works well for me and it keeps odor under control even when I forget to scoop often. HOWEVER, the price is crazy. While picking up a bag at my local Petco, I also went to get cat litter.

Behold: SoPhresh Paper Pellet CAT litter (Unscented). A 25lbs bag for $15. 99 and it’s the SAME PRODUCT. But the “small animal” version is $22 for 5lbs less?? PLEASE. Make that make sense!! The small animal marketed product is $1.

10/pound whereas the cat marketed product is $0. 64/pound. Why? Why indeed. Save yourself some money to buy extra treats for your babies instead of this Marked-Up For Nothing product. p. s. – I want to emphasize getting the UNSCENTED SoPhresh cat paper pellets; the scented one is harmful to tiny lungs.

Do NOT buy that one thinking it’s the same. Always thoroughly read the bag before using ❤️.

I divided this bag among my 3 Guinea pig’s cages. All 6 were happy at first, pop Corning and playing. Then, a couple hours later, they all started burrowing under it every time I would take them out and set them back in.

They also wouldn’t eat or do anything, they just stayed underneath. Their eyes would also be super dry too to the point where I had to put water there to moisten so I could help them open and get any paper bits stuck inside.

This stuff definitely seems soft but is very dry and dusty too. After seeing the same results the next day, I immediately switched their bedding to a different paper (non-scented) and they were happy again, popping and such.

They have also started eating again and acting normal as well. I’m not sure what happened fully but, it seems the scented bedding hurt them and made all 6 lethargic. Smells great but not worth it.

Although the price is very tempting, it is NOT a good investment. The quantity seems enough to cover the space of 14 in x 28 in Feeding area for a Guinea Pig, for about 4 changes every 14 days or 2 weeks.

However, after only 3 or 4 days, it is obvious that the bedding does NOT absorb the guinea pig’s pee as well. The floor is constantly wet, making it challenging for the Guinea Pig to find a dry stop while enjoying her meal/snacks.

Additionally, since it never dryes or absorbs the pee properly, the area has a musky smell. Also, because it is hard to control the fluffiness of the bedding (*if you put too little, it does not absorb enough or if you put too much, the paper is too loose and flies a lot when the Guinea Pig moves), it makes a mess when the Guinea Pig comes in and out of her feeding area since the paper sticks to her nails.

I usually change the bedding every week and half or even 14 days with other brands. But with this bedding, if I do not change it after a few days, the floor is continuously wet, as the pee goes under as if there was almost NO bedding.

If I calculate that in a period of 14 days, I had to change the bedding about 4 times, then the price is ONLY worthed if a comparable product is 4 times as expensive. However, even if the price was not much of a factor, the hassle of having to change the bedding after a few days, the inconvenience of having the Guinea Pig lay on a wet surface, the wet smell and the flying of paper pieces all over, make this product not a good purchase.

I honestly can’t think of anything negative to say about Kaytee C&C. It’s probably the most popular paper bedding in North America, and for a good reason. It’s super soft and you can get a pretty deep amount of bedding for a surprisingly small amount.

The way it packs makes it hold burrows pretty well even without anything added to it for stability. I haven’t seen any dust whatsoever from it. Sure, it’s not SUPER absorbent, but that shouldn’t be a problem if you have an adequately sized enclosure for your small animal and you’re regularly spot cleaning anyways.

I guess if anything, I wish it came in more colors! I do like the classic white, but my robo hamster is all white and I’d like to be able to see him lol.

I use this for my pet mouse and it never gets smelly, seems to last almost indefinitely. He loves tunneling under it and piling it up around his little house. A little lasts a long time!

I bought this bedding for my dwarf hamster, Princess Penelope Pumpkin and I love it! It doesn’t leave a mess and there’s no dust. The colours match her pink cage and she loves digging in it. It is Penny approved!.

Baking soda is a lung irritant to small animals if the particles are inhaled, it can irritate their tiny sensitive respiratory systems. Although it may keep odors at bay it might hurt your pets and could develop some breathing problems.

I have been using this bedding for many years for guinea pigs! I used to get the brown natural one until 2 years ago. I opened a bag and almost puked. It had the same odor as the really cheap brown paper towels in a kindergarten school bathroom, but a lot stronger.

I decided to try the white one. I used that for awhile until I got a bag that also had that strong smell. Next, I switched to trying the multi-colored bedding. That worked fine again for awhile until all of a sudden they also had the chemical smell.

The smell from this last bag was so strong EVERYONE in the house had a hard time sleeping. It’s similar to formaldehyde when trying to breathe, but has a terrible poop-like smell. **We all got sore throats and had a difficult time breathing.

It even affected my guinea pigs. They stopped making ANY noises for several days. ** We finally gave up after a few days of hoping it would air out or we would acclimate to it. We had to buy some other stuff and change it.

I saved the unused bags of bedding. I’m really afraid to buy any more of this bedding after what we experienced.

I’ve always heard great things about Carefresh so when my usual Kaytee bedding was out of stock I decided to go with this one – and I’ll never do that again. I bought three bags and the moment I opened two of the three there was a massively strong chemical smell to the point I had to use an air purifier to clear some of the stench from the room.

The bedding was also very hard, as if it had been wet at some point, crumbled up, and left to dry with no care. I ended up buying some Kaytee as soon as it was available to mix in with what I had used because the smell was still way to strong for me.

I still have the last bag sitting and plan to leave it laying open for several hours or days before I use it with the next bedding change, which will primarily be Kaytee or another bedding. I know I might have gotten a bad batch, with both the chemical smell and the hard pieces, but considering I’ve since seen quite a few people with the same issue I’m inclined to think it’s more likely to be a bad warehouse or manufacturing plant that these are coming from.

We’ve been purchasing the white 60L size Carefresh bedding for my daughter’s rabbit for the last 8 years. However for some reason when we received our last Autoship delivery, the bedding was no longer white but brown.

While this didn’t bother me (or the rabbit as far as I could tell) it did bother my wife and daughter who said it had a bad odor. I just looked and it appears that the white formulation is no longer available in the 60L package and more expensive than the brown.

Something must have changed because we always order and receive the white version in the 60L package (it’s been one of the items in our Autoship forever) but now it’s only available in the 50L size. I’m guessing that the price must have increased and Chewy, instead of providing us with the new, smaller 50L package, must have substituted the 60L brown instead.

I purchased this because Unscented Yesterday’s News has been discontinued. I am so glad I tried it. I actually like it better than Yesterday’s News. It doesn’t crumble/deteriorate likes Yesterday’s News and controls the smell better.

I used YN and now this in my pet rats’ litter boxes. I didn’t think I would ever find something I was happier with than Yesterday’s News after trying a number of things. I’m super impressed! I hope Chewy keeps stocking this.

I use the back 2 nature bedding as a base for most of my hamster cage. It’s covering the ground. However, it’s not good to burrow with, so you always need a second type of bedding, which is a shame. I prefer multiple textures in my cage anyways as enrichment, so I don’t mind.

This bedding also clearly shows when it’s dirty, which makes it easy to clean, it’s safe for the airways of the hamster and there’s never a bad smell, so that’s all great!.

Love this product. I didn’t notice any dust and it is absorbent. Works great for my rats and one has allergies. However, I used almost all of a 30L bag to fill my Bass pans in my double Critter Nation in just one cleaning.

For $25+ a bag, that really adds up. Quality litter, but I would love a larger bag, and I would love to find it for a lesser price.

I grew up with hamsters and had no idea they could be litter box trained until we bought my son a hamster and the cage came with the teeny tiniest litter box. I was totally dumbfounded. We buy this litter and sure enough, this hamster is completely litter box trained.

I think this would have changed my childhood! But I’m glad I know it now!.

I put this stuff in a small litter pan for my rats and they were using it within minutes. There are a few caveats: 1. I am using the grate that comes with the litter pan because otherwise they eat the clay which I don’t think is good for them.

2. They are peeing in it, which is great for saving the bedding/keeping the smell isolated. The pee sinks below the clay and the pan needs to be washed very well. But that’s better than turning into cement as I’ve seen other products do in reviews.

I used to buy this litter all the time. It smelled like a new puzzle box and the litter was dark grey in color, tightly pressed pieces and had an almost glossy sheen to it. It was amazing at absorbing the ammonia odors and feces of my two ferrets.

It had little to no dust and didn’t crumble at all when I scooped it a real 5-star product. However, it got to be too pricey for me buying 2 sometimes 3 bags a week @ $20/ea, so I switched to Petco’s SoPhresh odor control paper cat litter, which is similar but not as good; 25lb bag for ~$12.

I was hoping to switch back to the Marshall litter because SoPhresh wasn’t living up to the name. To my surprise, when I got home and opened my bag of Marshall’s litter, it was the SAME litter as SoPhresh!! Big, pale grey pellets that smell like old newspaper; you get dust clouds just running your hand thru it which is no good for your ferret’s delicate respiratory system.

I’m not sure who’s to blame, Marshall for changing products or Petco for rebagging? Nothing on the bag says “new formula” or “new packaging” or anything like that. I feel ripped off.

This product is great to use as bedding for pet rats. It’s DUST FREE!!!! And very absorbent!!!! Better than any of the other small pet beddings since rats get respiratory problems. Use this if you have pet rats!.

I used this for my pet rats. I bought it since it was cheaper. Immediately my roommate commented on how bad the smell was. I can’t scoop the poop aside from just throwing it out. The litter lasted about 2 days for eight rats versus the month half the amount of litter would normally last.

It wasn’t absorbant and didn’t stick to the poop. It got flung everywhere when they tried to bury their feces and made me have to change the bedding. Maybe it is better for ferrets, but my rats hated it.

It at least didn’t leave dust, but that alone wasn’t worth the extra money, time, and smell.

I have had house rabbits for years and have tried many different kinds of litter. This one is the best – I think it used to be called “Sunseed Fresh World” but it was rebranded as Vitacraft. Same product.

I put a cut paper bag under this litter in a box used by two bunnies and each day scoop a little extra on top, then I change the box twice a week and I have not had issues with odor and cleanup is a breeze (dump into the trash bag, spray some cleaner in the litter pan, wipe out with a paper towel, and set it up again).

I think it’s unreasonable to think you could go a full 14 days for any pet without changing the litterbox, so I’m not annoyed that I start to get whiffs of rabbit pee after 4 days. If you’re looking for a solid bedding to make your litterbox cleaning easier and control odor between litterbox changes, this is the one! *Also – to control rabbit urine odor make sure your bunny is spayed or neutered, that helps a ton and also makes their litterbox habits much better!.

I have two bunnies that pee a LOT! I was using the shredded paper but learned very quickly that was a bad idea! The smell was awful! The bunnies houses are in my daughters room so keeping the odor down is a must! I gave this bedding a try and it works WONDERFULLY! I will keep buying this absolutely!.

We thought by changing to this type of breeding it would be less dust. It actually helped a bit on the up dust. When you set it down and do clean up, it leaves a sandy under layer that really make me question if my ferret is inhaling this or how much is this being observed by him.

Odor control isn’t for the full days it advertised fyi!!! Also its line gravel, it sticks to everything, horrible for cleaned up. I DO NOT NOT RECOMMENDED.

Tea Potty is the best litter we have used for our cat. It smells like a sweet, wooden fragrance, but is natural, and it absolutely covers cat pee odors. Before, we used the recycled newspaper pellets, but those didn’t clump and smelled horrible.

The Tea Potty wood pellets actually clump! The pellets are smaller so they can track in the house, but we have now gotten a mat to put in front of the litter box and that helps my cat dust off her paws a little.

The bag is not as heavy as clay litter, and since I have learned how clay is unsustainably sourced, I’m glad to use a more eco friendly litter like this one. Also, Chewy has the best deal on Tea Potty litter, especially free shipping if you order is over a certain amount.

Other stores don’t give free shipping on heavy items like cat litter. I have two bags on auto ship every couple of months and it’s great! I can’t find Tea Potty in stores. Thanks, Chewy!.

Long post, but I had *just* transitioned my cat to pine litter before discovering Weruva, so I thought I’d share the differences I noticed between the two. SIZE: Weruva pellets are much smaller than pine pellets, and I can use my regular scooper to sift through them.

I do have to shake the scooper every time though because some do still get stuck. CLUMPING: Pine pellets dissolve with moisture, while the Weruva litter semi-clumps around the urine. Both are a little more work than you’d have with clay litter but so far I don’t mind taking the little extra time to scoop everything out.

DUST: Like pine, the Weruva pellets do have some dust, but neither are nowhere near as bad as clay litter. SMELL: I expected my apartment to smell like pine trees when I opened the pine litter, but it felt more reminiscent of a barn or a hamster cage.

The Weruva litter is more woodsy and pleasant (to me). ODOR CONTROL: You could definitely tell when my kitty had taken a dump in the pine litter, and sometimes I’d be forced to clean the litter box more than my usual 1x/day to get rid of the smell.

The ONLY time I notice when my cat has used the litter box with Weruva is either when I’m cleaning it or standing right over it. TRACKING: I was SO pleased to make the transition from clay to pine and see the tiny pieces of litter disappear from all parts of my apartment.

That happiness was erased with Weruva—kitty will shake her paws as she steps out of the box and scatter little pellets all over the floor. The only upside is these pellets are *still* an upgrade from clay as I have yet to find them in odd places like my bed or desk or couch.

It’s a pain that they get scattered everywhere but at least it’s confined to the room with her litter box. CAT PREFERENCE: Since my cat had already made the transition to big, clunky pine pellets, I didn’t feel the need to try and slowly introduce the Weruva litter to her.

I set a new box of Weruva next to her old litter box with fresh pine pellets and she immediately started using the new litter. and never once touched her pine pellets. The Queen had spoken. TL;DR: I like Weruva more than pine pellets (and 1000x more than clay litter) but can’t give it a full 5 stars because of the price and tracking.

My kitty prefers it too, so that says it all.

I had high hopes for this litter as I am replacing one that has granules. I was looking to reduce tracking and dust while maintaining a good clump and scent. I also wanted something that covered the scent of my cats’ waste.

I like the weight of the litter and it doesn’t smell awful like some of them. I don’t think it smells especially good, but I can live with it. I started slowly by topping off the previous litter with a layer of Weruva.

The cats were suspect of the new way. I got to the point in one box where I needed to clean it out and sanitize it, so I replaced it with only Weruva. So far neither of my girls have set foot in that box.

When I poured the bag of Weruva into the litter box, I was overtaken by a hug cloud of dust. The tracking is better but the dust is not. Moving on to try another.

This product totally helped to eliminate our rabbit’s odor problem. We needed to clean the tray twice a day and it still smelled bad. After using just a small amount of these in the bottom of the tray we are now able to go almost a week without any odor!!.

I actually don’t use this as a bedding, but as a litter for my rats. It is the best one so far. Least dust and odour. I tried the hemp but found it was actually full of dust and smelled pretty bad. But if you’re going to use anything as bedding/litter for your small furry friends I would recommend this one.

I was using the hemp bedding previously for my bunnies and I jag found it was quite messy and wouldn’t disguise the potent urine oder. So I decided to try Chipsi Classic. Since using this product there has been less mess as they manage to keep this one in their litter trays and I don’t notice the urine smell.

my wife uses this product instead of sugar. she likes it better than sweet and low. the price is reasonable and it is a good product
