20 Best Lithium Golf Cart Batteries (2023 Updated)

Solid performer at 100Ah. I am using it as a backup. With a good PSW inverter and a transfer-switch, the setup is much better than off-the-shelf UPS systems. I also like the strong screw type connections.

A suggestion for improvement would be to add a suitable power switch and a voltmeter on the battery casing.

This is the first time I buy a Lithium battery for my motorcycle. It fits nicely and connecting the leads was no issue. The battery stores the charge at slightly higher voltage due to the nature of lithium cells, so it actually cranks the starter motor a bit faster.

So the new battery experience is very good. I’m expecting that it will store nicely for the winter without the need for intelligent battery charging. I haven’t checked how well the Lithium cells stay balanced but it should be easy to adjust if required as it has accessible pins for the cells.

I’m also crossing my fingers the battery will last longer than 3 seasons that I normally get with traditional lead batteries. If my storage experience and battery life expectations are met then the premium price of this battery will be worth it and will deserve 5 stars but for now it is at 4 stars.

Bought this battery summer 2020 as an upgrade to my stock battery on my 2018 gixxer 750. It’s exactly everything as advertised. Light weight(about 5kgs lighter than the stock battery), long lasting charge, quick start up.

I’m only doing this review now because I wanted to see how it lasted over the cold Canadian winter in storage. I didn’t hook it up to a tender because I wanted to see how it would hold up. I stored it first week of November 2020 and started it up first week of March 2021.

My bike lit up like a Christmas tree when I turned the key and the bike started first time when I pressed the ignition. I couldn’t be happier with the battery. Depending on your budget you may consider it expensive but there’s no comparison on the performance you get from the battery.

Worth every cent. highly recommend this battery to any rider looking to drop a few kgs and gain a better performance battery.

This battery is terrible on so many fronts. 1. Capacity: The actual capacity is far less; they advertise the capacity as A/HR (Pb equivalent) but the actual capacity is only a fraction. It appears their equivalent is based purely on CCA, not actual capacity.

As an analogy, when buying a 19 liter container I would expect 19 liters, not 3 liters that is 19 liter equivalent because it can pour as fast. 2. Design / Reliability: The foam spacers provide keep moisture despite proper drainage in the battery compartment.

This is a huge problem because the charging terminal are 5 small pin in a recessed connecter protected by a rubber cover. Unfortunately the rubber cover does not provide a sufficiently good seal and moisture will seep in resulting in the terminal corroding.

Once corroded there is no way to fix or charge the battery. The documentation did not recommend any additional measures to protect the charging terminals (e. g. silicone, dialectric grease. etc). 3. Reliability: Overly discharging the battery is defined as 50% of the capacity.

Given the much smaller capacity than advertised this is easy to accomplish (e. g. forget your lights for 15 minutes). Once this happens, the battery is essentially useless and will no longer hold charge.

The effective capacity if this battery is in fact less than 50% of the actual A/Hr. If the charging terminals are corroded, then you are pretty much out of luck.

The batteries are probably OK. I charged them overnight in the golf cart with a new Ridemodz 15 amp charger. They worked fine the next day. I took it down the road about 1/2 mile and back and they worked good (powerful}.

They were Diehard deep cycle 8 volt batteries for 48 volt cart. Price after discount and core charge refund they were about $131. 00 apace I found out the onboard charger that came with the club car cart will kill the batteries if left plugged in for a long time, it was only about 4 years old.

The new Ridemodez trickle charger will charge without having to bypass the OBC. The Advanced Auto parts only had one battery on hand. I had to get get them ordered from two different stores to get the online discount.

This battery is for my Club Car gulf cart. I just installed it today so I have no opinion, however I do have criticize the accuracy of the specification on this page and what the battery itself reads.

This page reads AMP hour170 AH the battery itself reads Amp hour 160 AH and I specifically chose this diehard for my required specification. no.

Perfect replacement for 2018 Club Car Precedent stock batteries. Swapped the batteries, charges and runs fine. Time will tell if they last.

Purchased for a 2013 KLR650 (stock) Went ahead and spent the extra $$ to get this battery. Incredibly light weight. hard to believe actually. Packing for shipping was top notch. Case was also slightly smaller than the Yuasa battery it was replacing which would have been perfect as the YUASA is a very tight fit.

But ran into a problem that I am guessing is not unique to my bike. The bike is completely stock other than bolt on accessories. The battery posts on this battery are very much “rectangular” rather than “square”.

The terminals on the end of the battery cables are “square” with a right angle lip that helps to secure the terminal to the post. The negative terminal attached perfectly because it fit “across” the battery post.

The positive terminal, because of the way the cable is routed into the battery tray area, attaches to the “long/rectangular” direction on the post. It won’t attach solidly because of that right angle lip on the terminal and the bolt hole in the terminal will not line up properly with the hole in the battery post.

Only solution I could see was to cut off and replace the end on the battery cable so it oriented to properly attach to the post. or to crimp the cable to a severe right angle just before the terminal.

I really didn’t want to do either. Disappointed to see that despite being deemed to be “perfect fit” for the bike, it would not install properly. Return and refund through Customer Service at Fortnine was simple and quick.

(I was charged the $7 return shipping fee. ) Ordered the Yuasa brand high performance battery. Quick install, no issues (other than the very tight fit) and back on the road.

I haven’t used it over time yet but my initial take is, it is a great battery. It weighs about a third of what a lead acid battery does. It has a built in voltmeter so you can check the charge by pushing a button.

Best of all lithium batteries will hold a charge for a long, long time if nothing is draining it. This battery is on a Honda scooter that sits for long periods between uses. I always had to keep it on a trickle charger.

I should not need to do that now.

Easily installed in my FXSTD no problem. Turned over with power like I’ve not seen before in other batteries. Time will tell how it performs. Still had to use the lead spacers and screws from old battery to connect cables.

Terminals Are not quite flush. It’s easily a quarter of the weight of standard lead acid battery.

I couldn’t believe how light this battery is and it’s the same size as the original and just for a few dollars more, I already told a friend from work how ride’s about you guys and the great deal I got for sure I’m going to keep this company in my phone contact.

Both the battery and the processing/shipping come with very little “weight”. Arrived in mail very quickly and boy is this thing light. My goal is to reduce weight on my 2015 Multistrada 1200 S. Cheapest weight savings by far simply by using this battery over a conventional.

Full exhaust? Well that’s a different story 🙂 Have not used the battery to strat up yet but was able to see the charge via the side button on the battery. Came fully charged.

This battery is the exact replacement to the stock BMW K1600GTLE 2016 battery. Just reuse the bolts and negative post adapter and you are good to go. If you are new to replacing batteries in these bikes here are some helpful tips: First and for most disconnect the negative first.

Some might tell you different, but by doing the negative first you are not going to have any shorting issues with the positive post. Check the charge before installing. Make sure you have a lithium rated charger.

Lastly, you only need two tools. A 10mm wrench and a T25 torques driver. Just install and enjoy!.

The base Firepower has 50% more cold cranking amps than the OEM battery installed in my KTM. This was a no-brainer. The bike starts faster, even on cold mornings. MotoMummy has the best pricing too. there’s no need to waste time doing Google searches (as I did).

My original lead acid battery gave up after 4 years so I replaced it with this one. It is overpriced in my opinion, but for form, functionality, the 5 year warranty and quality I have to give it 5 stars.

Its very light and immensely more powerful when moving from an aged old battery. The included charger is great quality too and charges in 3 hour.

The lithium battery is by far the best choice for your power trolley. Far more power output than a conventional acid battery and by far a lot less heavy to carry around. Not cheap by any means but is thoroughly a great investment.

The delivery was extremely quick even though I missed the post on Thursday afternoon the battery still arrived on Saturday for my game on Monday at no extra cost to me. The battery was charged when it arrived for immediate use.

This is my second Powacaddy plug and play battery. It is long lasting easy to plug in. No fiddlley leads. Trolley can be folded down with battery in situ.

These deep cycle Golf Cart batteries have worked well so far. ONCE I got them fully charged. i purchased four of these to run in series/parallel to create a 12volt house battery system for our motor coach.

My complaint is that three of the four batteries were dated 6 of 2019, making them over a year old when I purchased them, which was and is a concern, since they’ve been sitting on a shelf for a year with no charging having been done to them.

Each of year old batteries were at 6. 02 to 6. 1 volts when I got them home and tested them. That is basically “way down” from a battery standpoint(editor wouldn’t let me use the word equivalent to “death”.

I have been able to get them charged up to 6. 30-6. 36 but they quickly decline to 6. 2. The fourth battery was dated 6/2020 and consistently charges to 6. 39 and will hold at 6. 30, which is healthy for a 6v Battery.

The next couple of months will tell the tale if the “old” new batteries will develop their full charge potential and hold it efficiently. If I hadn’t needed the batteries right at that point in time I would’ve asked/waited for newer batteries to be delivered to the store.

They have a year of full warranty coverage so I will give them some time to re-build their endurance. Service was great and the online store was easy to shop!!.

I bought a pair of these for my RV in May 2014, I installed them in June 2014 and as of July 3 2015 they won’t hold a charge. I gave them two stars and I suppose it’s possible, since the RV wasn’t really on the road much during that period, that there is something wrong with my charging circuit – I’ll be testing that out.

I run the RV every week to ensure the batteries stay charged. I also bought starting batteries at the same time and they seem to be working fine. It’s very disappointing that the warranty is “all or nothing” within just a 12-month period.

I’ll be checking the charging circuit more carefully and shopping around for replacements, but based upon my experience thus far I can’t recommend these. It seems others have had better experiences, so perhaps the problem is on my end.

The price is good, particularly considering the discounts, etc. Others mentioned the batteries having been old stock. Mine were dated 12/13, and purchased 5 months later. Hopefully you’ll have better luck with these than I did.
