If I’m not drinking vodka sprite Disaronno Sours are my jam. I totally feel like my mom right now but how could you dislike amaretto? And Disaronno is the best brand of amaretto hands down. I always have some of this in my fridge too because it’s not a high proof so imo it’s more of a treat than a drink.

Make sure to garnish with a maraschino cherry to make the *chef’s kiss* yummiest cocktail ever invented! Also, amaretto is great for baking too, so yummy in cookies and homemade icings.

Always ask for Disaronno. Disaronno sour, Disaronno on the rocks. Once upon a cocktail I forgot the magic word that is Disaronno and received a subpar sour cocktail. I asked the bartender if this was Disaronno.

He said I needed to specify. You definitely can tell the difference. Disaronno Originale is most likely the original amaretto liqueur, dating back to 1525. It is not an almond liqueur. It is actually made from apricot pits! According to the company the amber colored drink is an infusion of apricot pits oil with “absolute alcohol, burnt sugar, and the pure essence of seventeen selected herbs and fruits”.

Easily the best amaretto on the market. My favorite thing to make with it is wedding cake martinis, and since bars are closed I’m sharing my recipe with you lovelies! 2oz vanilla vodka, 1oz Disaronno, 1.

5oz pineapple juice. Combine in a shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a cherry. Super delicious and tasty. Literally everyone loves them and soooo quick and easy to make.

Does not taste like raspberries at all. It is very bitter and I would not recommend using even a drip of it as a mixer for a fruit cocktail. Get raspberry syrup instead.

This is a great addition to your drinks and shots. It is very sweet – I wouldn’t recommend it alone. But a small amount will add great flavor to a martini. A little goes a long way. The bottle will last a while.

This item is nowhere to be found in the are where I live. Thank goodness for Quality Liquor Store, not only for having this item, but having it at a reasonable price.

Very herbal and minty. Strong bite. Beloved by ski bums who probably skipped brushing their teeth last night since they were sleeping in a van at the ski resort parking lot. Definitely not a popular taste unless you like that feeling of epithelial cell death as you swallow.

It’s a great AMARO. Better than the original Fernet. My favorite! To be kept in fridge and serve neat.

This is an intensely herbal, bitter, slightly medicinal tasting liqueur. You can taste gentian, angelica, and quinine, but it’s the aggressive punch of mint that really stands out and is what might turn you away or win you over.

It’s like brushing your teeth with mint toothpaste while standing in a pine forest. If you like bitter and herbal, give this a try. If you find other herbal liqueurs like Campari too bitter, odds are you won’t enjoy this.

Personally I really like this in a Toronto, and a Fanciulli, and even just with Coke like they do in Argentina (it has an almost cough syrupy sort of taste, but with a rich and complex herbaceousness).

I have been using Fernet Branca as a superb bitter and digestive spirit whenever indulging on some heavy meal or even wine. or just enjoying it from time to time as a great amaro aperitif. I haven’t found any other Fernet with the same quality and properties of this Fernet Branca invented 175 years ago.

I regularly buy Fernet Branca at Total Wine since, aside being the store where I buy my wine (they have a broad selection of my favorites Cote de Rhone blends and Spanish Tempranillos and Garnachas) they have it always in stock, reasonable priced and with its second to none customer service.

If you’re a guy, and you’re not familiar with this potent, intoxicating, elixir, perhaps it’s time you give it a try – cuz it’s kind of fly! I say ‘guy’ not to be sexist, but based on the known scientific fact that women tend to be more or much more averse to bitter tastes than men.

And bitter this is. The complex and sophisticated taste, however, makes this a special drink. If you’re a fan of the Negroni cocktail, you might want to give a Hanky-Panky a try: just sub the Campari with a Fernet.

I love my Campari, but a change of pace from time to time is great!.

I really don’t drink much, but when I do. (and when I used to go out alot in my 20’s) this was my choice bottle I love the cinnamon flavor. The little gold flakes were a neat touch. I remember the rumor that the glod was there to make little cuts in your throat to get alcohol through your bloodstream quicker 😂 totally NOT true! They’re edible gold flakes smh at whoever started that myth.

However, this stuff is strong enough without cutting your throat open and does the trick all on it’s own!.

Goldschlager Cinnamon Schnapps (1L) is a great aperitif as it will warm you up and gives that warm/happy feeling, to enjoy. I have never seen anyone take more than just a shot of this, and 1 shot is plenty, in my opinion.

Anyway, the ‘gold flake’ novelty seems to be the winner for this cinnamon schnapps.

The best way to drink this is your favorite coffee and coffee creamer and a shot of Goldshlager together and your day is fantastic. Gives you the right kick. I drank a cup of these every morning during covid lockdowns.

Southern Comfort (the current bottles now state that it is produced in New Orleans) has a clear, light tan appearance, with uniform alcohol legs. The aroma is of mild red apple and demure spices. The flavor is of cane sugar, assorted pie spices, and a faint, underlying spirit whiskey note.

SoCo has a light body and a watery, not syrupy, mouthfeel. It finishes on a somewhat dry note, surprisingly. RJT.

This 80 proof variant has a clear, caramel appearance, with uniformed alcohol legs. The aroma is of cherry, assorted spices, and faint bourbon. The flavor is of those elements, with oak barrel. The body is medium, and Southern Comfort Black finishes medium long.

My first time tasting southern comfort was a relaxing night out with my friends. I had enough of the taste of beer and the strong burning sensation of vodka, so I decided to experiment with a different drink.

one of my friends recommended Southern comfort and I soon found out why. I ordered a southern comfort with a dash of lemonade as recommended. straight away I was amazed by the taste and aromas of the fruit and spices of the drink which complemented the flavour of the lemonade.

I also tasted it “on the rocks” (with ice only) and I was astonished by the flavour of whiskey that didnt sting the my throat, just tingled my sences with the rich flavour. The alcohol content is 35% which is strong but the product is can be consumed easily and enjoyably “goes down like water”.

I have had this drink before and it mixes excellent with orange juice or grapefruit juice for a long drink in the summer

This drink I discovered many years ago on a sun-kissed island in Greece. Drink it with fresh orange juice for a taste of the unknown, which will become much more familiar as you keep going back for more and more.

This amaretto is fantastic! Yes it is sweeter than Di Sarrono but it is also lighter so it balances that out. It is NOT syrupy or cloying – it is incredibly delicious, complex, and has one of the smoothest finishes of any liqueur.

I prefer the nose of Di Sarrono (I like the bite of some alcohol on the nose) but flavor is hands down better. I will be getting this amaretto from here on out! (Note – I typically drink amaretto neat, so if you prefer amaretto on the rocks you might want to stick with Di Sarrono as it has that stronger flavor to survive the watering down but seriously this amaretto is way more delicious and you should really give it a try!).

This is by far the best Amaretto I’ve ever had. Not only do they use traditional ingredients (rather than cheaper substitutes), it just tastes amazing. It is fairly sweet comparatively already, so my favorite way to do a sour is just a 2:1 Lazzaroni to Lemon Juice.

No need to add any simple syrup.

I actually havent been home to drink any of the amaretto because im in a forest fire assignment. But i got good info all the way through the shipping and delivery process and could even communicate with my roommate what time it was going to be delivered.

Ive had this amaretto before and have had a difficult time finding it again. Its the best.

I’ve gifted this bottle to many of my friends and they have all loved it, including myself. It pairs great with bubbly champagne. The bottle is nice and sleek! It’s on the pricier side of alcohol but well worth it.

would keep purchasing again and again. I do have to say I like their other flavors more because I don’t care for citrus. I prefer sweet.

This is a Very sweet liqueor. So if you don’t like sweet stuff, this is not for you. It’s super cute and bottled nice. It mixes well with stuff, though the flavor is pretty powerful, so you have to be careful with what you mix it with.

It’s just a fun, occassional addition that makes cute shots.

The Wine Chateau were the only company to have this product, I believe in the country. I would have given 5 stars but the communication was not there. I ordered 6 bottles believing that they had the product in stock and got a delivery date that changed multiple times.

They charged my card ASAP when I ordered but 6 weeks later (first delivery date was a week, I think) as I was thinking about cancelling the order, I got an email for the shipment. When the order came it was well packaged and complete.

I would have just liked to have an up front explanation that the product was not on shelves and that they were waiting for their shipment. Even a few emails indicating that they were still working on my order would have been well received.

I absolutely love the taste of coffee, love coffee, and a total coffeeholic! So this liqueur is perfect for me. I love adding it to coffee as an after dinner treat, mixing it with milk and a little heavy cream and some ice cubes for a White Russian with a little bit of vodka, using it in a dark Russian, it’s delicious added into cake batter mix and made into cupcakes.

One of my absolute favorite liqueurs. I’ve been drinking it for years and don’t plan on stopping. If you love coffee flavored items, this is the liquor for you.

Everyone likes the taste of this stuff, I assume, because it is completely artificial. There is no ingredients list but it seems to be cheap spirit and then a bunch of chemicals, artificial flavors, and thickeners.

Can’t really be real cream as it is, basically, non perishable. I really wonder what it is and how the recipe has changed over the years. I’d MUCH rather make something similar on my own. Would be nice if they came out with a version made and flavored with actual ingredients.

I absolutely love this stuff. It is one of my top alcoholic beverage choices. Right next to a white russian. Kahlúa is one of those drinks you could add a few ice cubes to and drink it as is. Or mix it in with other beverages to make an even tastier drink.

Not for all coffee fans though. I do like how smooth it goes down. This is probably my favorite coffee alcoholic beverage I have tried. Worth a try.

I don’t like this but you might. I can’t imagine drinking this as anything other than a mixer when better alternatives aren’t available. Even then, I would probably rather have a water. I find it overly sweet and “Fake” tasting.

Everybody has their own tastes so don’t let me dissuade you from giving it a try.

Not sure why. Never been much of a Cognac fan so it was surprising I let a friend talk me into a bottle of this stuff. On the nose this smells of bee vomit. I don’t sense the honey, it’s the vomit part.

The slightly acidic carousel of faint aromas from vanilla to oak and it tastes like a fig newton slathered in rubbing alcohol and jammed into your throat with a plunging stick. Stay away if you know whats best for you.

Way over priced. They say its aged but you can really taste the separate layers of flavors and alcohol. Honestly, I doubt this is aged longer than it takes to bottle it and get it to the 7/11.

Always seems to not keep my product stocked. Waiting 10 plus minutes just for someone to go in the back and find my item. 90% of the time it’s never there, stocked in locked shelving where it should be.

Glad you carry my product though. Can’t seem to find it else where. So that’s a plus. Customer service is great; hands down.

Nose: Sweet orange peel and Dr. Pepper!?!? Palate: Very sweet and quite full bodied, almost like syrup. The mix of sweetness and oak spice somehow reminds me of cough drop. ?? As the mild heat passes, some honey with very weak char appears.

Finish: The sweetness extends. As it slowly fades away, apple zest starts to show up and lingers. Warm. Comment: I couldn’t sense too much honey in it, which is quite puzzling for me. It is as sweet as honey, indeed, but kind of artificial for me.

Even with flavored liquor standard, it really underperforms than what I expected. A bit disappointing, to be honest.

Bourbon is my go-to spirit. Used to drink wild turkey and Coke as my main beverage of choice. Do not like spicy things in general but this bourbon is DELICIOUS. Great in winter (though I have it all year), straight up.

It’s a nice sipping beverage with a bit of zing from the pepper that tingles your lips a little and gives a bit of heat. Highly recommended!.

This is Art. Do yourself a favour and go buy it. This amazing blend of opposite tastes is perfect and work amazing together. The other honeys are too sweet this gives the right amount of husk and warmth the body needs to when tasting a whiskey!! Terrific work 9.
