20 Best Liquid Vitamins For Dogs (2023 Updated)

My Shih Tzu , Buster, is extremely picky and spoiled. He won’t eat dog food, only rotisserie chicken! Every now and then, I can sneak in some peas and carrots, but not enough to give him the vitamins and minerals that he needs.

I’ve tried other vitamins in the past that all had great reviews and almost guaranteed to be dog-approved, including Zesty Paws Bison and Chicken flavored 8-in-1 chewables. These products smelled good and had excellent customer service, but my Buster would not have any part of these! I searched the Internet looking for a quality LIQUID vitamin.

Although Huggibles claims to be chicken flavored , as with the other products I’ve tried , Buster wouldn’t even attempt to lap it up voluntarily, and if I put it on his food , he avoided eating altogether.

Again, this is NOT a product problem; it’s a “Buster Problem”. The best part of this Huggible product is that I can “force” feed these drops. He only takes 1/2 dropper, so it’s very little to force down and only takes a second.

Buster may not “like” it, but as his fur mama, I finally have the comfort of knowing he’s getting the vitamins that he needs. And this is why I rated Huggibles 5-star. It solved my vitamin problem and put me back in control of keeping Buster healthy!.

I don’t know why it took me so long to find these drops! I came across an ad for it on insta and I’ve tried so many things so I was a bit skeptic all… but there is a satisfaction guarantee so I figured I’d give it a shot.

Thank goodness I did I have already bought 3 more bottles (because it’s less expensive that way). I can see a clear difference in my dogs coat, her energy level, and her poops! This stuff WORKS!.

I’ve been giving the supplement to my dog a cat I haven’t seen any difference yet. But, it might be still early. It smells like vitamins which is good. Considering the other supplement brands that smell like fish.

I like that it is made in the USA and that the company huggibles are about the safety and health of our beloved pets.

I have a cat with feline herpes who is having a flare up more often so we decided to switch over his lysine products. This has worked the best as we know he’s actually taking the correct dose and not spitting out chews.

It is poultry flavor but he’s still a cat and hates liquid being squirted into his mouth. We’ve been conditioning him with getting treats after we give him meds. His eye discharge has calmed down a lot.

Ideally we want to get down to 1 mL of lysine but do 2 (500 mg) mL when he is having a flare up. I would recommend if you’ve tried literally every lysine chew you can get your hands on and your cat refuses them like mine.

About a month ago, I adopted two kittens from our local shelter. One had a bad cold, and then the other one caught it. For some reason, our second kitten didn’t get over it as quickly as his sibling, so we took him to the vet to receive his antibiotic shot.

I have several German Shepherds and thought to use this as a supplement since my dogs coats were not looking good after shedding. I also had a dog who was a rescue that needed some help getting back into healthy mode.

Only the younger dogs seemed to like the products taste. The older ones actually refused to eat the food if I mixed it into their food. So Orally was a better option for those refusing to eat food with the Red cell in it.

This too was not a good option. Add a little can food and now problem resolved. I have noticed that the rescue I have has picked up weight and looking great. Puppies seem to do very well on it and they don’t seem to mind the taste at all.

Pups look great that have been on the Red Cell. Very energetic and alert and muscular. I am pleased with the product just think the flavor of the product is not pleasing to most dogs. As I said before I have a kennel with quite a few dogs and the majority of them found the flavor lacking.

But it does work on bringing a dog who is lacking some nutrients back to good health.

Lilly “had” severe skin allergies and trouble with her hips. Now, I don’t have to carry her outside to potty, she can jump from the bed (no screaming for me) and play with her babies. Love how far she has come.

I have a total of four dogs, one of which had developed allergies. We tried Diamond Naturals’ Salmon food, having been told there were grains in it (this is false), and there was a decidedly marked improvement in coats, skin, and poops.

Wanting to keep these benefits, but not needing the actual food, I decided to try just salmon oil. All four dogs LOVE the taste and smell. It really gets them excited, even the 12 year old. At this time, I have not noticed any improvements in the dogs, but those that were eating the salmon food have not had a decline either.

The cap was screwed on tight, the pump fit perfectly, and it even got knocked down and into the floor and didn’t leak. The actual oil doesn’t smell overpowering, and while the dogs’ breath certainly smells of the oil, it is again, not overpowering.

I gave 4/5 stars due to the extreme cost of the item and lack of improvements. That being said, I am planning on buying the product at least once more to give it more time to see if anything more improves.

I have a Tri-Color Razor Edge Bully, who’s turning one year old on the 30th of July; when we got him at eight weeks, his coat was shiny and kept his skin moisturized due to his caretaker adding Zesty Paws Coconut Oil to his food.

So we kept adding it to his meals, but we noticed that once we couldn’t find more of the ‘Zesty Paws Coconut Oil,’ his fur began to look semi-dull, and his skin began to dry faster. So I contacted Customer Support and spoke to Vineeta, who was fantastic and informed me they were working on restocking the Coconut Oil but couldn’t say when.

So she recommended the ‘Pure Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil for Cats and Dogs’ since it was the 2nd best product. She offered to send me a sample, which arrived within a day, and I wish I had a video or a picture of the first time we mixed the Salmon Oil with his food; Scrappy’s eyes opened wide when he tasted the oil in his food.

And currently, his coat and skin have improved, and I can’t say thank you for the help and this product.

I have an almost 3 month old German Shepherd puppy. Her ears stood erect but when puppies are teething, the ears flop. To avoid the possibility of taping them later, I supplemented her diet with Glucosamine.

Glucosamine is an Amino Sugar and a building block of cartilage. Since their ears are cartilage, it seems to be the ideal supplement along with really good whole, grain free food and puppy vitamins. Since she has been taking the recommended dosage for her weight, her ears came right up and were not flopping over.

It did not cause any digestive problems and her stools have been normal. I am very pleased with the results. I realize that this is not the normal use of this product however, it is good for other purposes that easing the pain of ageing in older dogs.

my german shephard/husky is getting old and this is a god send. He’s almost 8 years old and is starting to slow down and with his hip displaysia and joint pain, this has been really helpful and I just pour it on his food twice a day and its very simple and VERY effective.

He is willing to go on hikes and play like a puppy again after trying this for a few weeks. If your dog is getting older, this will help them with arthritis and joint pain. It’s a good value for the price and high quality ingredients! Recommend 5 stars.

My cat was hospitalized for digestive issues that were causing weight loss, and unfortunately as she was recovering she developed a cold she must have picked up at the vet. Shortly after gaining her appetite back, her cold got worse and she refused food again.

She was picky with syringe feeding, but she did let me give her this. I squeezed the appropriate serving size into a small bowl and added a small amount of hot water. Then I used the syringe to whisk it up so it turned to liquid, and administered it via syringe that way.

She is just starting to get her appetite back and I plan to continue supplementing her food with it to get her weight back up, as well as have a backup on hand should she lose appetite again. Fingers crossed she keeps letting me give this to her, hopefully she will be okay with it mixed in her food soon.

This gel has literally saved my dog’s life. After two years of vomiting and diarrhea we did an endoscopy and found he has IBD. Even on prednisone and prescription diet, he would still get reflux, eat grass, vomit on occasion and not want to eat.

After experimenting on my own, I realized he cannot process animal protein. Took him off of capsules made of gelatin, prescription food made with animal protein and flavored heart worm. We use the Nutri-cal to cover his supplements and medication and when he doesn’t eat enough, he sucks this right out of the tube.

I have a 3 year old English bulldog. He has had hip issues within the last 6 months. My vet gave me supplements that did not work. Not even a week of using liquid Health, by putting it into my dogs water dish, I saw improvements in my dogs mobility.

I am not interested in any other products at the moment. Cali is nearly 22 and so far, so good. I gave her the Glucosamine on her food teaspoon full. I also was giving her pain medication from the Vet every 3 days until the Glucosamine came.

I only gave her 2 of them and your product arrived late on day 3 and I had given her a pain med from the vet that same morning. When it came time to give her the 3rd pill from the vet she was pretty back to her old self.

I did not give her the last pill I have. I will save it for a rainy day. She can now climb the steps to the kitchen, bed, litter box and wherever she wants to go. She can do much more of it since taking the Glucosamine.

I hooked up a small electric heating pad for her bed and she uses that when she needs it but is able to get along pretty good without it. She makes about 10 or 15 trips a day to the kitchen every day and we leave plenty of food and some chicken broth and sometimes a little sweet cream down for her a treat.

She seems to be doing so much better. Her pain was pretty bad she weighed 12 lbs. forever and then her blood pressure went wild and she went blind 3 years ago. She was put on Amlodipine 1. 25 mg. and then it had to be raised the next year to 2.

I feel good with the labeling of this bottle and I’m going to purchase the Salmon Oil also. We have 3 kitties, 5 yo, 5 yo and 3 yo. We love them like our children and want to provide the best for them but we also want to feel/know that we’re being treated fairly and reasonably with prices and actual product.

I have a GSD that will be 3 this March, and for most of her life was raised away from cats. my Mother moved in and brought cats. My dog’s skin EXPLODED: red, raised welts on the edge of her lips/mucus membranes, itching, biting at herself, skin so inflamed it would just bleed and even her whisker “pores” were visibly swollen.

Went to the DVM, the expert, and got some immediate allergic treatment (Cytopoint injection) and put on a hypoallergenic diet to try and help mediate any other allergens since it was primarily around her mouth that she was breaking out.

I got a bottle of this too just trying to help her body get back to “normal” and go from there. Well all was well but I tried to be cheap (shame on me!) and put her back on her regular Purina food, didn’t go back after the 2nd allergy injection (should have kept up with it), and today felt the same thing around her mouth: scabs, swelling, itching and redness, inflammation.

WOW. this product has made Such a difference in my 9 yr. old toy poodle! I bought it originally as he’s been starting to develop some weird little pink warts and my online research indicated his immune system needed support.

In the couple months he’s been on it, no new warts, and the ones he has have shrunk — but there’s been SUCH a marked change in his vitality overall. He’s wagging his tail all the time, just is so bright and happy.

This was one of the treatments prescribed by my avian vet for my Cockatoo with numerous health problems. This is mainly used for his neurological issues. It seems as though his seizures are less. I don’t know if there would be a difference without, but I totally trust in my vet’s recommendations.

This stuff is like magic! I have a cat who has always been very shy and then I realized it was an anxiety issue. I have worked with veterinarians who had used this product in the past so I gave it a shot.
