20 Best Liquid Probiotics For Adults (2023 Updated)

Like many, I was very concerned when I found out this has 11g of sugar per serving. I eat a low-sugar diet in general, and I’m not looking to add added sugars anywhere. This is the one exception. The reason is the sugar is in there and the reason it’s not an artificial sweetener, although Stevia is also added to this for flavor, which I don’t like is that the sugar enhances the bioavailability of the electrolytes.

This is because your cells use glucose for energy, so sugar in your diet is delivered quickly through the bloodstream to your cells, with little need for processing. This is in contrast to slower-digestive carbohydrates that take longer to work.

The key here is that this is not a casual daily drink that you drink for fun. This is a rehydration powder that helps you to retain fluid and quickly resupply electrolytes. Unless you have a specific reason medical, weather, etc.

you should not be taking this every day because you don’t need it. That being said, when you do need electrolytes, you also need some glucose to help them be absorbed. So don’t be surprising at the 11g of sugar.

I’m not clear that that specific amount is necessary, but it’s certainly a much more sensible option than Ade drinks with 40g per can. My only real complaint is that they added Stevia for flavor. There is no such thing as free sweeteners—they all impact metabolism and insulin resistance—and should all be avoided to live a healthy life.

I am willing to put up with it here because it makes the saltiness easier to go down and because I believe in the other ingredients. You will notice that this contains a decent amount of sodium. This is important because many of us lack sufficient sodium in our diet yes, you do need some and sweating can deplete electrolytes faster or slower depending on the person and conditions.

Sodium does not lead to dehydration—that is a myth that’s all too easy to fall into. Sodium helps your body to retain moisture, so the other water you drink stays ins.

I got this to use after a round of antibiotics (dog bite, boo!). I’ve been using it daily mixed with juice, smoothies, and even just Greek yogurt. I’m sure I could even put it in my cereal or oatmeal—60 drops really isn’t as much as it sounds, and definitely doesn’t change the consistency.

I can’t detect any flavor. It seems to be beneficial! I’d definitely rather take drops because pills are gross, and I know it’s easier to absorb from liquid. I just don’t know how long it lasts comparatively (I’m not very diligent with taking my supplements normally).

I store it in the fridge, as directed.

I really liked this probiotic when I first started taking it. It’s great that it comes in liquid form and literally has no taste or color, nothing. You can add it to water or as I was doing, to warm lemon water in the morning.

However, I noticed that after some time, I wasn’t feeling any effects anymore. When I take it with my warm lemon water, I feel the effects a probiotic would give but if I add it to my water and sip on throughout the day, I feel nothing.

This leads me to believe the warm lemon water has more effect on my digestive system than the actual probiotic (Google lemon water benefits). Sadly I won’t be repurchasing and looking into other probiotics to try.

I was scared about the taste (reading reviews) but it’s GREAT! It’s tradition where my family is from to drink wine at the table (a glass or less) Even children have a taste of it. When I was little, occasionally, if I asked, they would serve me 1/16th of an inch of wine and the rest in sparkling water.

That’s what this taste reminds me of, watered down wine, where the wine is watered down so much, there is virtually no trace of alcohol left in it. It’s a pleasant taste. I don’t find it bitter, sour, salty, or sweet.

It’s neutral but it definitely reminds me of wine. Well, wine is a living thing too. Also, it has helped with regularity!.

Ordered from Canada, dull well knowing the exchange rate and was happy to pay, what O thought was an inflated price just to compare to other probiotic liquids O have tried. Both brands so a good job but the other brand 25% less expensive and in CDN dollars.

The other bit that was very disappointing is that the site does NOT mention any 9mport charges and should include them IMO. My belief is they don’t because the price is already high. So another $23 on top of the inflated price.

Corrected My GI Tract Issues! I’ve normally had good digestion. However, in March 2021, I tried (2 successive days) an organic, “proprietary blend” of 100% food based prebiotic from Hyperbiotics. The gas and bloating that resulted were excessive, very uncomfortable, and embarrassing.

I took no more, but the effects lingered. After about six weeks, 80% of the gas had resolved, though not totally. What remained was a fairly constant feeling of indigestion and discomfort. It felt like I’d swallowed a rock! I thought I’d totally disrupted my internal micro-biome with my prebiotic “experiment.

I don’t like coconut so the Innergy Biotic is a great probiotic drink for me with a neutral flavor. I’ve been combining two ounces of Innergy Biotic with a couple scoops of the Vitality Super Greens and liquid Ancient Minerals.

My body feels deeply nourished by this drink. I also feel an immediate boost of energy, but not anything like caffeine. Rather, it’s a steady, relaxed energy that comes from feeling rested and healthy.

This product has become a staple for me so I wish they sold it in bulk at a discount—like a 6-pack.

Cons:I’m not thrilled with the plastic bottles, no matter no matter how supposedly”safe” the co. will cliain they are. Really, then why is all kombucha I purchase commercially only in glass? I should have examined the picture more carefully, or asked.

My fat is primarily around my belly (yay having kids) and so I wanted to try these. I’ve tried many things, even regular exercise and a pretty good diet. I do not eat junk food, I eat at home, I don’t eat a ton of carbs.

It has been frustrating because no matter what I do still belly fat would not budge. I looked up the research article for the active ingredient in these to see exactly how much the subjects of the research took per day and for how long because I wanted to make sure I gave these a shot to make sure they worked.

According the the research, they were all males and none of them appeared to be on a specified diet or exercise. There are so many reviews of these pills where people say they don’t work and they don’t seem to be taking the correct dosage.

Well, I took 3 pills in the morning before breakfast, 3 pills at lunch consistently for 50 days. This is just 10 days shy of what the research article said and they did NOTHING. I didn’t necessarily expect weight loss, I was looking for the circumference of my belly to go down and not an inch, or even a half inch.

No side effects, it just didn’t work for me and I wasted a good chunk of change. If this worked for some folks they have a metabolism primed for this, perhaps and maybe it worked to suppress their appetite so they ate less.

I take probiotics for bloating and intestinal rumbling, which I have after almost every meal and any food, despite eating very healthy, organic and vegetarian. I’ve noticed that when I take them regularly on an empty stomach, the bloating and rumbling is much less, sometimes non-existent.

Any good quality brand works for me. However, I had recently learned about stearic acid (also known as stearates) which are found in most supplements. They are primarily derived from cottonseed, which is not a food item, and is grown with a lot of pesticides, unless organically grown.

I loved that they redesigned the bottle to the new plastic dropper until my most recent purchase. I ended up having to return the first bottle I purchased because the plastic seal did not cover the entire lid and the bottle could still be opened without removing the seal.

It was inconvenient to have to make a special trip into the store for this but I returned it for a new one with no issues. My big issue is with the second bottle I got. The first time I went to use it, I tipped it over and the plastic dropper piece fell completely off.

Since I was holding my wiggling baby while attempting to use the dropper, the bottle ended up spilling completely on her. Luckily it was just on her clothes and not in her mouth or eyes. It’s not worth going into the store to exchange the item for a second time.

I emailed Mommy’s Bliss to let them know of this issue weeks ago and never received a response. If I would have received a response and a replacement from the company I would have remained a Mommy’s Bliss customer, but since they could not bother to respond I will no longer purchase their products.

These drops are everything! My baby has been such an angel baby since the day he was born. Never fussy, always ate well etc. until 2 weeks ago when he started crying every time we offered a bottle or breast and would arch his back in pain like he had trapped gas.

Sneaky but works! My daughter is too young for pills and is extremely picky about food and taste. Well, just add it to their drink and they won’t notice they are taking it. You gotta do what you gotta do.

I have been using this for over a year for IBS-C. It isn’t a panacea but I do find it helpful. The price is eye-wateringly high, esp as the company now insist on VH selling x4 bottles at a time and VH haven’t got a choice but to do as they dictate.

It means it is an expensive re-order every 4-5 weeks. I tried to eek it out but my symptoms have worsened so I’ve gone back onto one capful a day in the hope things will settle. If you are a VH addict customer the cost is lower for a re-order compared to other sellers so it’s well worth it.

Before symprove my belly was seriously swollen and I could not eat anything without problems ! Symprove really works I wish I had found it years ago !
