20 Best Liquid Iron For Lawns (2023 Updated)

I have used a product called Ironrite for many years and the product is very good in greening up one’s yard. It is expensive to apply, I think. Deciding iron was iron, I changed to this product. I will not provide pictures but my lawn is absolutely a beautiful green delight.

My Zoysia is not a deep green color because Zoysia does not get dark green. However, it is a shade darker than the Zoysia of my neighbor’s yards. I informed them of this product. Many said they would buy it.

Excellent product. It did exactly what it was suppose to do. I followed the directions and my gardenias no longer have yellow leaves. Highly recommended.

It is easy to use and my Encor azelea that looked like it was ready for the compost heap seems to be reviving.

This is the only product I could find that met the recommendations of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources for zoysia grass. I could not find a product with these ratios in the local lawn

I sprayed more than half of the solution about 5 days ago. Looks like the grass is changing from yellow to green. I wish there was more in the bottle- I have a large space to cover. Definitely recommend.

My centipede starts to grow and a late spring freeze knocks it back. So it goes into summer with yellow areas and large yellow spots. The more normal green/yellow has been restored in 24 hours, not perfect but more than good enough to keep the HOA off my back.

I had some plants with chlorosis and the iron quickly greened them up.

A few of my older potted plants really needed an iron supplement but I didn’t want to buy very much. All I could find in the store was a very large, rather expensive jug. I special ordered this smaller one (half that size of the one that they had in stock) from the website and had it delivered to my local store.

It arrived in a few days. My plants are looking much better now.

Ferti-lome Cheatlated Liquid Iron: 2 pine trees in our yard were yellowing so we tried the fertilizer stakes to no avail. A family member recommended “Chealated Iron” and not the other “Iron” products that contain iron in other forms.

Withing 2 weeks, the trees were significantly greener, by the 4th week it looked like the rest of the row. Worked for us. We went to all the local big box and nurseries and could not find it. This store sold them for approximately 1/2 of retail.

I tried ironite 3 X’s with spraying the yard to eliminate yellow grass and the ironite failed to affect it. So, I did what I always do and researched further. Turns out, I needed a chelated iron which the yellow grass would absorb better.

I was surprised to see what I believed to be a difference after 48 hours, though it was minimalistic. I photographed the yellow grass prior and each day since I sprayed the liquid. On Thursday, the third day out, I confirmed there was a change, and it got even better on Friday after Mondays yard spraying.

Then the pictures I took on Saturday was all green grass. Shocking this could work so fast and so well. My soils are clayish in Middle Georgia. It rained Tuesday after I sprayed this chelated iron Monday.

I’m happy!.

Big beautiful healthy plants always when I use this product. Bought a pint first but had to get a gallon this time because all my plants are thriving. Soaked my fruit trees before planting, now they are blooming beautiful.

Maxicrop is a quality trace minerals for the garden. I’m so glad I found it, my food tastes amazing from the garden. Maxicrop is not all I use, but I use it the entire growing season all year long from seed sprouting to harvest.

I also use seaweed to soak my trays ,when I’m planting seedling that I plant under Lights in My basement , they seem to get a better start. I bought it from other suppliers in the past but I get the best price on E-bay with free shipping.

Used this product for a few years around newly planted Maple trees as the ground soil was lacking in iron and negatively impacting the trees. This product provided the necessary nutrient and saved the tree from dying.

I keep dwarf citrus trees on my patio and they always get yellow from iron deficiency if I forget to use this. However I don’t keep it in my patio storage any longer because a rat was attracted by this chewed into my rubbermaid storage box and ate this! I guess rats and citrus trees need their iron supplement! It’s a very small container and it’s about half full so if you’re looking for something for full size trees planted in the ground I would not recommend this small container.

If you’re looking to keep your rats and dwarf potted plants from turning yellow it’s a good buy!.

I researched how to get rid of dog pee stains in your yard and Gypsum is supposed to neutralize the salts that are killing the grass. I will let you know how it works. I just love the people and Martins Do It Best In East Troy WI.

Our soil is very hard clay and I’m trying to improve the soil in a much neglected flower bed. The Earth Science gypsum was easy to apply and definitely helped to loosen the clay. Ordering was easy and the delivery to a local store made for a very easy purchase/delivery.

Just now starting to use it for growing mushrooms. Too early to tell but it comes highly recommend as a favorite for Shrooms

After scrolling through the aisles and buying countless products, I finally found a product that works. My lawn was embarrassing, bright yellow! I applied this product on a Saturday morning, by Tuesday, my gosh, the difference, green!!! Finally a nice sight as I pull into my driveway!.

I purchased this product and applied according to label instructions about 10 days ago and have noticed no improvement in my lawn. Hopefully another application in the spring will yield better results.

It may be too early to give a correct review and I will revisit this in the spring, but as of now, I would not recommend.

I’d been having trouble with low iron, both in myself and in my plants. (Shows up as yellowing and crackling in the leaves) Most soil and fertilizers doesn’t provide much, if any, soluble iron. This little bag of wonder fixed all that.

Fe Sulfate is dense stuff, so it ships small. You only need a teaspoon per liter for direct foliage spray (best method of giving plants/trees, iron) and the smallest of milligrams of this for human consumption.

Be smart. Start smaller than you think you need. Our bodies don’t need much, but iron is lacking so much in food nowadays because farmers do their best to maximize yields. I had some fatigue going on for a while, and an inexplicable hunger for certain “iron rich” foods like chocolate, cherries, sport bars, ect.

A couple days of (using the Very tip of a wetted finger) the tiniest amounts, greatly reduced all my symptoms. Stay healthy guys!.

Excellent Ferrous sulphate for making Ferrofluid. It makes 10 micron or so diameter Magnetite crystals when solution-mixed with caustic soda (see YouTube), which work well as a ferrofluid. Cautionary tale: mix the magnetite with 10W30 new clean motor oil until it is a runny paste, then put 3/4 teaspoon into a square-sided glass jar of GLYCERIN.

The secret trick to getting ferrofluid ot work right is to make sure the two carrier fluids are of about the same kinematic viscosity at room temperature. Have fun. This is 45 times cheaper than buying ferrofluid off the internet.

My blueberry plants require acidic soil and iron sulfate can create that condition with time. Time to dissolve in the soil and be absorbed by the plants. One package is good for about 100 sq ft. Blueberry leaves seem to be responding, I think its working.

For my lawn this year I had used another Pennington product, Ultragreen 30-0-4. This took my very yellow looking Bahia grass and greener it up as it needed more nitrogen. I used this product as it recommend as a product to go along with my main fertilizer.

After a month I haven’t really seen a difference in the five areas in my lawn that needed a little more nitrogen. I think for what my grass needs the 7-0-1 wasn’t enough this year to help my lawn. But I don’t want to discredit it as my lawn just got installed 7 months ago and the first set of fertilizer did so well.

I did notice that in the spots I did use this product it went from uneven growth compared to the rest of my lawn to about 30% better. I attribute this to lawn spray and maybe those spots will look better in a few more weeks.

What I did like with this product was that it was something to add to my lawn care instead of trying to figure out what to take out. This spray can be used monthly or bi monthly, which means I’m going to try again as it’s a new month.

Another feature I liked was that it was for the whole yard just not the grass.

I bought these due to feeling quite tired and run down from working long shifts in the hospital in full PPE. They are easy to swallow and despite having a hernia, and reflux, these have been great, and dont irritate my stomach.

My son takes the liquid version as he wont swallow tablets and my husband takes the effervescent version as he enjoys the vitamin style drinks. We all feel like we have more energy and I feel they have become a part of our daily routine now.

I’d be curious to find another brand that would do the same job.

I started using this instead of floradix 3 months ago to reduce costs and to tackle a vitamin d deficiency as well as low iron without having to take 2 tablets. I started low dose levothyroxine to treat subclinical hypothyroidism and despite expecting my levels to normalise, they got worse! Turns out this has iodine added, which, according worsens autoimmune thyroiditis and can cause you to prouce too much TSH.

Practically noone in the UK is iodine deficient so it’s completely unnecessary as well. So frustrating because most women’s affordable multivitamins have this added!.

this product works great on my lawn! My soil type is not the best for grass, it borders on gumbo so very fine and not great drainage. Revive Granules Soil Treatment feeds the soil and the grass stays green and healthy looking all season.

I live in a northern state so we have cool season grasses – mine is a mix of perennial ryegrass, and Kentucky blue. I apply it twice a season, once in Mid spring, and once in mid fall. Grass greens right up in the spring, but not excessive growth.

Totally think this vitamin is the best. Dr. Allowed me to take this supplement during chemo. I feel that by taking this supplement while taking chemo allowed me to feel some energy, which helped with a positive attitude.
