20 Best Liquid Glucosamine For Dogs (2023 Updated)

It’s been borderline miraculous for my middle-aged GSD. He’s a big shepherd at 95 lbs, is eight and half years old. I had noticed he was slowing down some in the last 6-9 months so changed from another Glucosamine/Chondroitin supplement.

After giving this to him for about four weeks I noticed he is less stiff when getting up after a nap. Of course he has a very sensitive stomach and can be pretty selective when I try to slip meds into his food.

(Too smart for his own good. ) But he does not seem to even notice this is in his food and it doesn’t upset his stomach. Good stuff!.

My 15 yr old cat had started limping and creeping slowly up the steps. The vet recommended glucosamine, but she wouldn’t eat the treats. Another reviewer recommended this liquid version. My cat is too finicky to eat it mixed with her food, so I took the suggestion to just apply it directly on her fur.

She would them then proceed to clean herself, ingesting the medicine. Within a few days she was running up the stairs again. I don’t remember to apply it daily, but she does not limp as long as I dose her evey other day.

This will also help this small bottle to last longer. I will definitely buy this again.

After doing some research I wanted to get a supplement for my senior dog. This was recommended by The BK Shop. The bottle is way larger than I expected. Think big Hydroflask/Yeti water bottle sized. I think it’s worth the price and he doesn’t mind this in his food.

I haven’t been using this long enough to see any differences in his joints but if I can update this later I will. The ingredients are common in hip and joint supplements and at higher concentrations so I expect this to last a while!.

My extremely picky 9 year old Yorkie will not take any of the joint supplements that my other senior dogs take which are recommended by the vet. She will spit out every chewable, even if hidden in food.

At her checkup, the vet said that she really needs to start up on something and the chicken glucosamine joint treats that she will eat are probably not getting the benefits to her joints. Thank goodness for this liquid Glucosamine from Paramount Pet Health! I can squirt a dose in her mouth before we go downstairs for breakfast and she won’t hate me.

While she doesn’t enjoy it or accept it readily, she will tolerate it. I test tasted it and it’s not horrible. We will continue to use this for little miss picky!.

Allows our Corgi to enjoy his “senior” years by keeping joint discomfort to a minimum. We used this with our last corgi with good results, and have tried other supplements, but always come back to Synflex for pets!.

I’ve been using this product for 6-7 years on two different dogs. It really works. I use an eye dropper to squirt it in their mouths with no problem. They don’t seem to mind the taste. Occasionally I’ll put it on their food.

I’ve recently tried another brand that is supposed to be better but didn’t seem to work. When I use the Synflex, my slightly overweight dachshund has much more pep in her step. She takes longer walks too.

Synflex cost a little more but I know it works so I’m going to stick with it from now on.

I feed her, and all of my dogs, Blue Buffalo with high quality canned food as a topping. I put all of the above items in Lulu’s food, she loves it. She is a Boxer and weighs around 85 lbs. Hope this helps you with your best friend! So sad to watch them grow old and disabled.

I have a 9 year old lab that plays like he’s 2. A couple years ago he would cry when he got up after sleeping all night. Started giving him Flexicose and he no longer has any hip pain. I adopted a boxer/bulldog when she was 1 1/2 and had already had 2 litters and former owners were feeding her Ol’ Roy even during her pregnancy! Our German Shepherd has hip and elbow dysplasia so I have tried a few different things. He started to get board of the chews so I saw this product being promoted by a GSD rescue and thought I would give it a try.

It has done wonders for our dog and his mobility and pain are greatly improved. Now I think the pain has gone down because he appears to be less stiff and is moving around quite well. He loves the taste of it as he always licks his bowl completely clean after all the food is gone.

I have not noticed any type of side effects with the product. I had read that some people have noticed GI issues or changes. Our GSD has a sensitive stomach with various foods, but this product in addition to his food has not caused any issues or concerns.

Will definitely be buying more when the current bottle runs out.

We got this for our dog after we found out she had a torn ccl. Because of her size, vet suggested waiting for it to heal as opposed to jumping into surgery. I wanted a supplement that would help her in her recovery and to ease future arthritis.

My 14 year old dog has had a pretty rapid decline in the last year. he doesnt really want to go for walks much and has started whining on the floor to be lifted up onto the couch. He loves this. I think bacon is a good flavor choice for a dog because he looks forward to it and is not a struggle at all to get him to take it. After taking it for a few weeks he has jumped up on the couch a few times so I am happy.

As a senior dog, my pup is very picky about what he eats. If he thinks there is medicine, he will not touch his food. This is a game changer. He not only has no idea there is medicine in his food, but he actually seems to be more attracted to his food.

We have an older Great Pyrenees that we rescued about 3 years ago. He came with his legs and back severely damaged – or at least they appeared damaged. After about 6 months his back legs started to straighten out and his back extended instead of being hunch up.

I was giving my dog Pet Naturuals of Vermont Glucosamine Chondroitin pills in the morning and night and although they initially helped, as she has gotten older, she seems to have more difficulty getting up and down as well as using the stairs.

Read about this and the reviews and thought it was worth a shot. Well, it has made a big difference in addition to what she already takes. She seems to be able to go up and down the stairs easier as well as getting up and down when laying on the floor.

I’ve bought a second bottle and find it easy to use. My dog has no problem with this or any other powders or liquids in her food so her not eating with this added to her food is not an issue. Entirely Pets has the best prices and shipping is fast too.

My vet recommended this product for my 3 legged JRT. Because he only has 3 legs, there is more stress on his joints. I was concerned at first because my dog doesn’t take his medication well, sometimes will vomit it back up.

Not the case with this liquid, I mix it into his food twice a day and he loves it! It’s very easy to measure so you always get the right dose, according to your dogs weight. I highly recommend this product and worth the money! We love Chewy.

I’ve been giving my dog the Liquid-Vet chicken flavor for a few months now and just started on a third bottle. I have a 10 pound, 14. 5 year old miniature pinscher and he started having some trouble walking late last year.

We took him to a neurologist and they ran some diagnostics and they discovered multiple bulging intervertebral discs in his neck. By January he was practically not able to walk at all and we were worried he was not going to have a good quality of life.

Through word of mouth on a pet forum, I learned of Liquid Vet, and it was praised as a big help to some dogs that have had issues with walking. I started giving my dog the Liquid Vet in Feb 2022, around the same time that we changed his medications and started physical therapy.

Liquid-Vet is a life saver for your precious babies! First off, we have been giving this to our 3 dogs for over a year now! Ok, we have a Chiweenie and she’s 12yrs old. One day she just wasn’t as active as she used to be and then she just stopped moving around.

Of course, it scared us and the last thing we could afford was sending her to the vet. So, I recommended to my husband, why don’t we try vitamins and THANK YOU Sweet Jesus we found this stuff! Our 17-year-old arthritic cat, Drew, began struggling to jump up on things, was moving more slowly, and was noticeably uncomfortable. We bought pet stairs because she couldn’t get onto the couch without our help.

Make sure to buy the version called Grizzly Joint “Aid” (not “Health”) because it has additional stuff, turmeric which helps with inflammation/stiffness/pain. Within two days of taking this on her food twice a day she seemed a couple of years younger, less stiff, with far improved mobility.

She loved the flavor and we were able to continue our usual longish daily walks for another couple of years. At 13 she was diagnosed with arthritis in her spine, hips and legs. But she was able to walk around some on her own (minus the stairs) right up to the end.

You may want to take note that the turmeric will stain things yellow so probably keep something under the bowl to protect flooring/carpet/etc. I will definitely recommend it to anyone with a senior dog/mobility issues and will use it with my next pup when the time comes.

This product works. I have been giving it to my 7 year old Pit for 2 years. She has cruciate ligament damage in both knees and had TPLO on one. On 2 occasions I have run out of the product and taken a while to get more.

Within a week of starting the supplement, his tail was working again! He has not used the pain meds for over a month now, and he is back to running, climbing, and jumping again. I am so happy with this product.

IšverstiShow in original languageThe drops work. I saw an immediate difference in how my 14 year old cat was moving. But had to give her the drops directly, she would not eat the drops I put on her food.

So it works great but the smell is god awful. It’s so overpowering it stunk up my apartment. The bottle accidentally spilled and I had to clean with an all purpose spray and light a candle just to get the smell out.

Even had to take out the trash because the smell was permeating from the paper towels I cleaned the mess up with. Going to try and find a less smelly supplement.

After 3 weeks, his movement is much more fluid and he actually stretches when he wakes up. He can once again jump up into his favorite napping spot. Lots of purring going on now when I rub and brush him.

I love this Liquid Glucosamine for dogs, so easy to mix with dog foods, normally my dog would not eat any tablets or capsules. so this Liquid did a good job for my dog. My dog is a 9-year-old standard poodle one of a large breed that would not walk more than 30 minutes.

My dog was running around outside since I have been adding this Liquid Health Glucosamine to her foods. I think her joints are better with this product. I would recommend this product to any dog.

My vet prescribed glucosamine and chondroitin for my Chihuahua because he has (and his breed is prone to) a luxating patella which is where his back leg’s kneecap will slip out of place on occasion. I usually just have to gently bend his leg and it’ll pop into place.

While it is painless for him, I really don’t like doing it and don’t like seeing his leg do that. The vet said that this will eventually get worse to the point of requiring surgery. I selected this brand and dosage almost 3 years ago.

Within the first few months, the number of times his leg slipped became less and less. I gave him the prescribed dosage every day. Now I give him just one a day and it’s been at least over a year since his leg has slipped out of place – maybe even longer! How can someone give this product a one star review and state they have’nt used it yet? I have used this product non-stop for about three years now. My dog is large topping the scale between 90 to 100 lbs.

She is 10. 5 years old now. Sure, she does not run like she did when she was a puppy. But she still is active. The product was recommended from a friend who has been using the product long before me.

It does work, and it works well. The only complaint I have is that it runs out of stock at times, like now! But, if you buy two bottles the shipping is free and if you reorder well before you run out it is doable.

Not sure why the green bottle is almost twice the brown bottle. I have never tried the green bottle. A brown bottle lasts right about 1. 5 months (4 teaspoons a day) as I write the date started on the bottle with a black perm marker to gauge usage.

ArthroMax was recommended by my vet for my elderly cat since she has been taking it she is less stiff on her legs. It goes a long way so is very good value for money.

Tried this to replace metacam vet treatment for arthritic cat, so far so good does not seem to mind the taste even though its more than a few drops, vets try to penalise good owners wanted 150+ every six months for one cat said it was down to new legislation but more down to greed in my opinion!!! Its early days yet but moving well so give it a try its also for dogs.
