20 Best Lipstick For Wrinkled Lips (2023 Updated)

I may have reviewed this years ago but it’s that good and I just don’t understand any negative reviews. At 70 years young I’ve tried every long-wearing lipstick and prior to Stila was addicted to Nars Audacious lipstick at quite a bit more in price.

Stila has won out for its pigments and longevity. It definitely stays on all day without smudging or transfer unless you’re eating something oily which will kill any lipstick. I never find it to be the least bit drying or cakey unless you apply too much ~ less is more with this.

I have most every color now, from the bold Beso, the best red EVER, to the neutral mauve pink classic Patina, the perfect everyday shade. Please don’t use a balm-like Chapstick underneath, nor a lipgloss on top, that affects the transfer and wear factor.

Make sure to exfoliate your lips prior to wear and moisturize with a lip mask like Laneige overnight. I apply a very light dusting of setting powder over clean, dry lips and I swear I never experience an issue.

I’m currently rocking Promessa, a warm peachy pink for summer! My only complaint is that not all the shades are available at Ulta, and must purchase directly on-site, losing my points! C’mon Ulta, step up your game! Also do not base your color choice on the swatches shown here, they are far from reality regardless of your resolution.

If you follow these steps I guarantee a perfect-looking lip look. Sometimes I use a clear lipliner but with this doe foot applicator, I find it never feathers and lipliner is unnecessary. It’s light, comfortable, you’ll forget you’re wearing it, and also easy to remove, unlike some others.

I just use The Ordinary Squalene cleanser and scrub away with a Buf-Puf, excellent exfoliation. I’ll add that I too would love this in black for my Goth look sometimes. And kiss away, no transfer, and also mask proof during pandemic times.

It lasts a good 10-12 hours for me with a rare touchup. Obviously, I’m deeply in love with Stila Stay All Day liquid lipstick, it’s hands down the very best, not too matte but with a bit of a satin finish.

My daily lipstick, I’ll never use another now. As I said, it’s that good! I hope this helps someone contemplating buying it and I don’t find the price bad at all, you get what you pay for! One tube lasts forever, I just warn you, they’re addictive! Thanks for reading!.

Buckle up Beauties as this one is even longer😰 #Storytime part 2: so as mentioned before, I’ve been trying lipsticks at night to see if they are ok to wear to work the next day. I tried on … Did not notice the name said sheer until I saw it on the box😵‍💫 and was worried because sheer lipsticks are not my thing.

I then open the lipstick and my heart sinks because the applicator looked as if there was dry product on it😳. Resigned to put it on my lips and expecting the worst the applicator touches my lips and then 🎇🎆🎇 We usually say “glides on easily” as if expecting the lipstick to scrape our lips upon application, but this lipstick felt truly amazing💄💋🥰.

Not sure if it was due to my low expectations, but I’ve not felt anything like that in a while. The product then dries to a beautiful Matte in minutes while still feeling soft, more like as if there was no product on at all, and then it is very hard to come off even after dinner and using a make up remover😯 so I was super excited for the next day.

Now, how to explain what happened next?🥺 The next morning (I apply lipsticks waiting for the car to warm up🤷🏽‍♀️) I apply (which was not used the night before), line my lips with In Crushed Berry, apply the and go about my day☀️.

An hour or so Later, after giving a training session and just taking some sips of water, I am speaking with my coworker and he keeps looking at my lips as we talk👀. Looking to the point I feel odd😵‍💫, he is about to say something but I excuse myself and say I’m going to the bathroom.

Inside the bathroom a glance towards the mirror makes me freeze🥶 revealing why he was looking at me😨. The lipstick had clumped up all over my lips making me look like I had some sort of crazy allergic reaction 😱 and there were specks of lipstick all over my teeth😰😩(thank god the trainees could not see it from where they were).

I wipe my lips, that doesn’t work🤷🏽‍♀️🤬 so use tissue with water then soap (you can’t truly see on the other picture, because it was taken after the water). Once it comes off I reapply, this time without primer☺️, and the lipstick stays for the rest of the work day, no flaking, and that includes through a grilled ham and cheese with fries🥰😍 (by now you know I love grilled cheese).

It did wear off around 6pm and it was not really even, but nothing like what I saw in the mirror👀 Lesson learned to not change things in the morning before work…🤦🏽‍♀️. Something tells me putting primer on with this particular lipstick was a terrible idea🙄.

And yes, my coworker was about to tell me about the lipstick when I went to the bathroom so he figured I would see it then. I would be giving this product 5 starts if it wasn’t for the color being so off. Apparently they recently changed it. I tried on a sample of “perla” in the store and loved it, it was the perfect shade on me.

So I immediately got it home and put in on and it not even close to the shade I tried on in the store. It was now purple instead of a nude pink. At first I thought maybe I bought the wrong one but I checked the box and it was correct, even the color on the bottom of the box looks nude pink and doesn’t match the bottle.

Then I purchased online “maci” another nude pink shade thinking the perla thing might’ve been a fluke. Nope it is also way off. It’s also dark purple and not anything like what the website or box shows.

Very disappointing that I now have 2 purple shades and still no nude pink. And it’s such a great lipstick other than that. It wears great, doesn’t dry out my lips, stays all day, barely feels like I’m even wearing anything.

I love the product I just wish they would fix whatever the issue is with these colors being so off.

I grabbed a jar of this just to see if maybe since I learned how to do makeup since middle school / highschool it will be better but I noticed some things. So first, it’s still thick as ever. The shades aren’t very versatile.

It oxidizes for sure! You have to really blend this out. I tried a blender, a foundation brush etc and after all that work it was decent. If you have any dry spots or oily spots beware! You definitely have to use primer and moisturizer before.

I wouldn’t purchase it again I was just curious and had nostalgia from being young in school and like every girl I knew used this back then lol it was fun to mess around with that’s for sure. The blush thing! That’s a great keeper I’ll say that.

I love cream based blushes.

This is THE best foundation that there ever was and ever will be! I have been using this product for over a decade. I’ve tried many other products out and nothing compares. The texture is so buttery smooth, it feels airy and amazing on my skin! The coverage that this foundation provides is absolutely amazing! I have scars on one side of my face from a bad car wreck I was in as a child, and this foundation covers them 100%.

It makes a great foundation for my bronzer and blush also; everything is perfectly where it should be on top of this and stays put. It lasts all day and doesn’t clog my pores. My face feels so soft with it on too; not cakey at all.

10/10 recommend!!.

I wear only matte lipstick in both liquid lipsticks, and bullet formulas. I’ve enjoyed Maybelline’s creamy, matte formula for years now, and I will continue to repurchase! I have a fair, cool-toned complexion, and I appreciate many comfortable colours that compliment my skin tone! Favourite ‘neutral’ shades continue to be ‘Touch Of Spice’, ‘Blushing Pout’, ‘Lust For Blush’, and ‘Ravishing Rose’.

I also adore ‘Mesmerizing Magenta’, ‘Divine Wine’, and ‘Violet Vixen’! Although there are many pretty shades, I hope that Maybelline will add both a deeper fuchsia, and a true, blue-based red to their colourful collection! These are quality, affordable matte lipsticks that I continue to highly recommend!.

I previously used a competitors long lasting lipstick for many years until it was discontinued. I then embarked on a long and arduous search for another truly long lasting lipstick. Whilst many claim they are, the only truly long lasting (all day & into evening) lipstick I found after testing was the Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick.

I wouldn’t normally go for a completely Matt lipstick, but with a small amount of lip balm you can make it what you want. I started with Lover which I loved for it’s understated look. I should mention that I am blonde, blue eyes and fair skinned.

I have just bought Ruler and Pioneer for more impact and WOW they do not disappoint. People are commenting on how I get my lipstick to last when out eating and drinking and I don’t have to worry about topping it up throughout the day.

For those that say that it can appear dry on your lips, this comes down to how moisturised your lips are generally. I always use a lip mask over night to help. Don’t reapply over an previous coat of the lipstick to avoid potential peeling, but take off and reapply for a fresh look instead.

I use my standard waterproof eye makeup remover on a cotton pad to remove, but anything oil based will do the trick. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do!.

It’s the only lipstick I use! Yes, you have to make sure it fully dries (about 15 minutes before you drink/eat/kiss/blot your lips). And yes, you will have to use eye makeup remover to remove the color at the end of the evening (or the next hungover morning), but it’s totally worth the staying power! Yes, your lips will NOT SHINE afterwards, and adding gloss will kill the staying power so get ready for matte lips, but you’ll get so many compliments you won’t care.

You MUST be careful when applying it as it stains instantly, but scrape the extra liquid off and use the tip to line your lips before filling them in and you should be fine. I live in the desert in Las Vegas and spend a lot of time in the water in summer.

This lipstick stays on under water, after drinking for many hours, after eating a lot of food, after sucking on a. lollipop. This lipstick DOES come off when doing these things (my straws always have stains), but it’s negligible and the color stays on your lips for hours afterwards.

Lubricant acts just like eye makeup remover with this lipstick, so be weary of using flavored lubes if you want this lipstick to stay on during/after bedroom fun.

i own this lipstick in i think 5 or 6 colors now? it’s actually kind of getting out of hand. but it just goes to show the RANGE of color options they have – i have medium toned skin with undertones that shift from day to day, and ALL the colors i’ve bought are flattering on me.

(i just bought the Thrillseeker jet black one and i’m excited to try some new edgy makeup looks). once you put it on, it really lives up to its name; i remember putting this lipstick on before a party and going through 4 shots, 2 slices of pizza, and a makeout session and coming out with maybe one (1) lipstick mark on my teeth.

nothing else. fair warning for potential buyers – the application process isn’t a great feeling, texture wise. the formula is quite goopy and sticky, feels weird on the lips as it dries, and can easily bleed into the wrong spots on the lip – but once it’s dry and you’ve cleaned up the edges with q-tips or whatever you prefer, it’s actually surprisingly comfortable.

the removal part is also a lot; the lipstick can start to be very drying by the end of the day, and it will go to WAR with you while you’re trying to remove it. takes me 2 to 3 makeup wipes just for the lipstick sometimes.

but the pigment is gorgeous, the price is great, and the color range is phenomenal. WORTH IT.

I purchased a set of three from the Kosas site. Pros: nice texture, moisturizing, satin finish, the lighter colors, very little fragrance or taste, no sensitive skin issues, store easily and the lid won’t come off in a bag, flattering shades overall, last well for a regular lip look, can apply lighter colors without a mirror.

If you are fair to light medium skin tone and neutral or cool, I suggest trying this option. -Cons: between matte and satin which I like. If you don’t care for it, apply over blotted lip balm then pay some balm onto lips after applying, cost – Colors: for all of these, prep by applying lip balm, letting it soak in, then blot.

They can be applied straight from the bullet, in the center of the lip then feathered out for an ombré effect, or mixed with balm or gloss for a sheer and more natural look. Rosewater: satin neutral mid-tone rose pink that reads similar to NARS Dolce Vita.

For my very light neutral undertones skin, it adds enough color for a polished look. It’s a more flattering and sophisticated take on all of the greige nudes or MAC teddy and is a perfect my lip but better shade.

It’s also a nice blush. Add clear or light pink nude liner for a precise look, not sheer. May be too cool for warm or too light for deeper skin tones skin on its own, but try patting a bit to the center of moisturized lips and brush it out for a more sheer look or add a warmer or gold shimmer gloss to adjust or try Stardust – Stardust: clear light red that pulls a bit warm.

I think this would be nearly universally flattering. satin finish, – Undone: think Clinique Black Honey mixed with a greige nude. It doesn’t work for me, but darker skin tones or people looking for a cool toned alternative to red lipstick would like it.

– Tips: prep lips with a waxy balm, blot, apply. Try inexpensive liners or tinted balms/glosses shades. eg clear red with Stardust = casual red, clear + Rosewater = effortless polish, – Bottom lime: highly recommend!.

I used to use Bite lipsticks before they reformulated and became another kendo product pumping brand and I’ve been looking for a new lipstick. These are my new favorites. I have Undone (which is very similar to the original Bite Chai) and Electra.

I love these. My go to is Undone but both have very flattering tones to them. The wear is like a typical bullet lipstick; you’ll probably need to reapply them but they don’t dry out your lips. I don’t mind having to reapply so this isn’t too much of a concern to me.

The packaging is magnetic. I haven’t had any issues with the bullet getting loose or anything like other reviewers have. I’ve travelled with these in a secure makeup bag and they have stayed safe and sound.

The smell is a very light vanilla. I have sensory issues so smells can get to me, but these don’t trigger any headaches. All in all i love these and I intend on getting more colors.

I recieved this lipstick complimentary from Influenster in shade 400. First let’s start with the presentation and packaging. I must admit, it is very very gorgeous. The bullet looks so velvety, I dont think I’ve ever owned a lipstick with the bullet like that, and it makes it feel very high end.

Although personally, I do think it could have been slightly heavier and a magnetized cap would have brought it all home. As for the formula, I was actually very pleasantly surprised. I’ll start with the color, as I’m usually a light nude person and on my skintone this is a deep, vampy shade when applied full on.

It’s a beautiful color that does compliment my lighter skin tone so I like that. I’m actually sad I received this color when spring is just around the corner as the only time I’d wear this is in the fall and winter.

That said, the product was VERY comfortable on the lips. I’m quite surprised as I don’t think I’ve ever felt anything like it, it literally feels like nothing is on the lips. Not sucking the moisture, not giving moisture, just nothing.

To me this is a plus, as even the more comfy matte finishes alway feels even a little bit drying, but with this one I even forget that I’m wearing it. I did not test it out for 16hrs because realistically I don’t wear lipsticks that long, but the color stayed saturated and in place for about a good 7 hours.

As I said, I’m more of a nude lip person, so I probably wouldn’t wear this deep color very much. However, I did try sheering it out on the lips and it gives this really cool 90s midtone brown lip color that’s more my everyday speed and I’ve been enjoying it like that once I was done testing it out full coverage.

I typcially I wouldn’t buy a lipstick this expensive, but if the formula and color is special, I don’t mind paying. Given the comfy formula and the tones of nudes in this finish, I really feel like one of the middle shades of the line would be my perfect “nude.

I received this Rouge Dior lipstick in 300 Nude Style Velvet to try out complementary in exchange for my honest review from Influenster. The actual casing of the lipstick is durable, heavyweight, and the container doesn?t open without intent.

Velvet is definitely a perfect word to describe how this feels on my lips! The lipstick is pretty lightweight not overly thick and feels like a velvet powdery soft texture, when I rub my lips together.

The finish is definitely matte, but it doesn?t feel as drying as some other brands I have used with a matte finish. I love the color and it is just a few shades darker than my natural lip, but makes me feel less washed out as pale as I am from winter.

I always feel like nude colors look orangey when I apply them, but this is definitely more of a burgundy/brown and one of the few nudes I?ve loved. I am usually someone who is habitually reapplying lipstick every 45 mins, because I am afraid of it moving out of place or wearing off, but I didn?t need to reapply that often.

Even if the lipstick did rub off, it didn?t look terrible, because it blended with my natural lip. This is my first Dior lipstick, and the thing that took the most getting used to, is that the lipstick is fragranced.

If you smell the lipstick itself, it is perfumed and when you apply it, you can continue to smell the perfume throughout the day from your lips. I didn?t find the perfume to be a turnoff, just rather something I wasn?t used to.

Overall, I really love the color, wearability, texture, and everything about this lipstick and shade. I will repurchase when I run out of this one!.

As someone who worked at sephora for a few years, I always loved Dior’s lip products and was a big fan of the shades and different finishes. Of course, it being Dior, it is pricey for a lipstick so I would definitely consider it a splurge.

The new velvet matte formula feels so velvety soft without feeling dry or powdery. It’s a very creamy formula and feels super comfy on the lips and I feel like it didn’t exaggerate any dryness I had despite it being a matte lipstick.

It doesn’t last super long, if you eat or drink you’ll definitely want to reapply, but it lasts longer than I anticipated for it being pretty creamy. I normally gravitate towards peachy nude shades, but I really loved the shade 100 despite it being more of a mauve nude.

It’s such a beautiful nude shade and I actually really love it on and can definitely see it being a great shade for all year round. I’m also obsessed with the packaging of this lipstick, it just feels so luxurious and makes me feel so boujee.

I highly recommend splurging on this lipstick and treating yourself if you’re on the market for a soft creamy matte lipstick! This formula feels like no other lipstick I’ve tried and I’ve probably tried nearly most brands lipsticks.

The lip-caring ingredients in it are great for keeping your lips soft and hydrated and I really love how Dior went in a more eco-friendly route with making this lipstick refillable, I adore that idea so much! *I recieved from Influenster for my review.

This is a review for the cases in general and the romantic boheme in particular. Sephora’s app won’t let me review the boheme directly for some reason. The first romantic boheme I received arrived scratched.

I sent photos to Sephora, but it was very hard to get them to replace the product. I offered to send to them for inspection. When I did that, they said that they couldn’t reveal whether others had been complaining of the same issue, because this was “proprietary information.

” Eventually Sephora did replace it, but didn’t want the original lemon back. That tells me that there may be some lemons out there that are not properly coated or maybe even fakes. Once they replaced, and I saw it didn’t scratch, I purchased others.

I’m happy with them. They haven’t scratched over several months use (with care to place in a little pouch). In France, they have pouches you can buy to store these in. I purchased one of these and it is nice if you can get your hands on one.

As for use, the mirror does come in handy, and they are very beautiful, heavy, haven’t shattered, and perform as described. So if you find your favorite shade I think they are a nice treat yourself item.

Imho, buy only if you are going to buy a Rouge G lipstick, and will use that lipstick every day, as these only work for Rouge G line, and you need to buy a case and a shade in order to properly use the lipstick.

When you wish to change shades, there is a simple black storage cap you place on the lip bullet container.

io adoro questo rossetto. un colore bellissimo. un trucco che uso è quello di passare un celobdi baldamo labbra prima di mettere il rossetto così ho notato xhe dura fino a 8 ore e non mi si seccano le labbra.

I remember these were pretty popular during the matte lipstick heyday; they provided a comfortable alternative to crackly, drying liquid lipsticks. However, given the market of K-beauty velvet lip tints and the like, I just don’t see these appealing to me personally anymore.

The color transfers easily, which is to be expected with a soft lip cream product, but even then the actual product isn’t very long-lasting without eating and drinking. Additionally, it doesn’t wear well, with feathering being a common issue especially for the darker colors.

I got Stockholm, and because it’s a lighter shade, didn’t really cover my lips and left a weird ghostly look. Probably a problem on my end with choosing a shade, but it wasn’t really buildable to a solid color to cover my natural lip color, which would’ve solved the issue.

The cream itself kept slipping and sliding around, too. NYX has a great color selection, and I know these are still quite popular for many! But for me personally, I don’t see them working into my collection when I have such a range of longer-lasting soft lip cream formulas on hand.

Quite possibly the BEST eyeliner I’ve ever owned (and I’ve been testing out eyeliners since 2010). Having tried most drugstore eyeliners and a select few high end ones, I can confirm this is the one I would repurchase time and time again, because it’s an amazing price, with the quality matching $40+ eyeliners at Sephora.

Firstly, the felt tip NEVER dries out. The only time I’ve had to replace it is because it ends up leaking or the tip wears out, which usually happens after a few months (4-5 months on average for me).

Second, the tip is the perfect length – not too long that it’s awkward, and not to short that it’s hard to make a line. Third, the pigment is perfect. This is a jet black and stands out on my pale skin.

I’ve never had flaking, and never had any come off (I don’t wear waterproof, so that’s amazing) I’ve turned so many people onto this eyeliner and it’s my ride or die. I will likely never switch to another one.

I’ve tried out the brown colour too, and it’s pretty decent except sometimes it’s a little more dry. The black is perfect though. Do NOT buy another eyeliner without trying this one first.

These matte lip creams are my absolute favorite. These lip colors are super creamy and I love the variety of shades. If your lips are already dry, this product certainly won’t help, but I regularly use lip balm and never find these to colors to be drying for me (and in that case, I’d recommend a tinted lip balm instead).

These also have a really nice taste, which is surprising! It’s true that the color isn’t very long-lasting, but I prefer this product to other long-lasting ones because it’s way creamier and just feels better on my lips.

Besides, if long-lasting is what you are looking for, try the Shine Loud Vegan High Shine Long-Lasting Liquid Lipstick instead, because that lip product doesn’t MOVE AT ALL, ladies. Honestly, for the price, you get everything you could ask for and a little more.

My go-to nude shade is London, and I just bought Tokyo and I’m already in love with how bright and pink and fun it is.

I am absolutely in love with nars liquid lipstick, tinted moisturizer and lip pencil. I’ve purchased the duo damned and Walkyrie with the absolutely focus of wanting the shade Walkyrie. After trying the colors on I ended up like the color damned a little bit more.

I personally thought damned would have been super dark but its actually a nice berry shade. It kind of reminds me of shade do me baby (which I also own). When trying on the color walkyrie, it hardly shows up on my lips, well at least at first.

It could be due to the natural pigmentation of my lips. I had to layer the shade multiple times for it show on my lips. The color Walkyrie reminds me a lot of the shade American woman which is one of my all time favorites.

I truly love both shades. I just would like for the shade Walkyrie to be a little bit more pigmented. However, its a good mini trial.

I’ve purchase this shade in a mini version of this color. After watching several different reviews of people trying this color on, I wanted to give this shade a try. My all time favorite color from NARS is American woman.

This shade reminds me of it. When applying Walkyrie to my lips I see more pink tones then the burnt coral red. My only issue is that the pigmentation isn’t the best for my natural lip tone. I have to layer it quite a bit for it show up.

Not sure if it’s because its a similar shade so close to my natural lip color. It’s a pretty everyday shade that I would not mind wearing. My only wish is that it is a little more pigmented and that is actually showed more of burnt coral red as oppose to pink but this will do.

I am seriously impressed with this lipstick. I was on the hunt for a new red lipstick with good wearability and saw this one mentioned in a lot of online lists. Glad I went for it! It definitely leans towards pink – it’s a pinkish red – but I still see it as super wearable.

Plus it’s super fun and youthful (and goes super well with my pale skin tone!) What impressed me most though is how well it lasted, without drying out my lips (the way many other matte lipsticks do, such as MAC’a Ruby Woo).

It’s a true velvet texture and fades gradually, leaving a beautiful stain behind. I’ll definitely be looking at other colours in this collection. Please never discontinue!.

I tried 3 of Revlons new Ultra HD naked matte lip colours (Cheek to Cheek, Bare Down and Frisky) as part of the beauty crew free trial. I found these lip colours had a subtle but pleasant smell and were easy to apply with the doe foot applicator.

The shape of the applicator allowed me to define the shape of my lips without having to worry about applying lip liner to ensure that there is no bleeding of colour onto the skin around my mouth. These colours are super pigmented and I could full coverage with just one swipe (as opposed to some other similar products on the market where I’ve found I have to apply a few layers to achieve an even appearance).

Bare Down was the colour that most suited my skin tone (pale, dark hair, hazel eyes) that gave the appearance of “barely there” lip colour. I found this was the one that I chose to wear to work or the shops when I needed a bit of colour on my lips.

It is definitely my go to colour at the moment. I found that Frisky was more suited towards going out to dinner and socialising as it was a darker, more vibrant colour and not as nude as the other two products.

I love this colour. My lips felt hydrated when using this product and even after it was removed at the end of the day, my lips still felt soft and hydrated. Other matte lipsticks and lip balms on the market tend to make my lips feel dry or emphasise any dryness creating an uneven appearance.

There was also no stickiness which is a problem I’ve had with other products on the market. The one downside with this product is how long it takes to “dry down” and set. I found myself having to reapply this product several times throughout the day, especially if I was inpatient and didn’t let it dry completely before eating or drinking.

However the product does leave behind a lovely lip tint so I still have the appearance of wearing a lip product which I did appreciate. I would definitely recommend these naked matte lip colours to people who love nude matte lipsticks and they will be part of my makeup routine.

Overall, I like this lip polish. (975 Rule the World) It moisturizes my lips, and the color really stays. I’ve worn this 13 to 14 hours, removed my makeup, scrubbed my face (and lips) with a facial brush and skin cleanser.

And the color, though muted, was still there. The pigment is so intense that by the following day, my lips looked as though I were still wearing lipstick. I skipped lipstick that day and opted for a little gloss.

The result was a perfect work day look for my lips. There are three downsides to this product. First, Ultra HD Vinyl Lip Polish is not true to color. I purchased #975 Rule the World. This is supposed to be a hot pink color.

Though monitor color rendition and package color will never be an exact match, they should be reasonably close. This is not. Instead of Hot Pink, I got a light bubble gum pink that darkened by 2 or 3 shades once applied.

The final color is very nice. But that is not what I wanted. Second, this polish does not have the wet look advertised. If you want a truly wet look, you will need to use a lip gloss. Third, this became sticky very quickly on my lips.

But I have oily skin and this is a common problem.

Thank you so much to Beauty Crew for trialling these lip colours. Wow to get 3 shades of a nude colour was fantastic as I do love nudes. I have been out of action for nearly a year but hopefully back to trialling again from now on.

I received the shades called Cheek to Cheek and Bare Down and these two would be my absolute favourites. There is not a lot of difference looking at the side of the container but definitely one is a lot lighter than the other when applying.

The other shade is called Frisky and for me it was a little too darkish, browny reddish for me but for others that like a darker nude, I am sure they would love this shade. Usually I am always wearing glossier lip shades so trying matte was a new experience for me and guess what, I love wearing matte now especially in these Revlon shades.

I have used Revlon lipsticks and their products for years so I know I am using a product from a brand I completely trust. The containers are gorgeous and easily slip into your handbags for any retouching during the day.

They are in a flat tube with a silver lid with an easy twist top lid which comes out easily with a cushioned wand applicator on the end. The lip colour just feels so lightweight and velvety soft on your lips.

Your lips feel so moisturised and very hydrated throughout the day. There is no stickiness to the lip colours and my nose gets very sensitive to fragrances but I didn’t find anything bad to the fragrance.

Some lip colours these days can taste vial on your lips when you lick them but there is no offensive taste on these at all. There was no bleeding of the colours during the day and if I had a coffee or a drink in a glass I did leave a lip mark but I looked at my lips and I didn’t need to touch up.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this product – the nudes are perfect. Some nude shades can be a bit too light and wishy washy but the shades of Bare Down and Cheek to Cheek are perfect in every way.

Generally I would receive lip colours that are red and I know alot of people wear red but I am one of these people that cannot absolutely wear that colour. Give me nudes, pinks any days. I did try one day when going out, I applied a lip gloss on top of one of my favourites and it looked fantastic.

Gave me a gloss look and stayed on perfectly and of course would just need a touch up during the day to the lip colour. I really enjoyed trialling these products and can’t thank Beauty Crew enough. Thank you to Revlon also for giving out these products to trial as word of mouth is the most powerful way of writing up reviews for others to see.

I was skeptical about purchasing after reading all the negative reviews but were recommended by a fabulous Sephora makeup artist who won my trust after being able to instantaneously color match foundation for me after Lancome decided to discontinue my shade in their foundation stick.

I have medium South Asian skin with reddish undertones a complexion wholly ignored by the beauty industry. I cannot wear “nude” aka beige or tan lipsticks as they wash me out. I purchased both Dazed and Poet on sale during Black Friday and now are my new favorites as they look incredibly natural both day or night.

They are perfect for tropical climates. They do not budge on me even while eating in the midday sun and fade evenly and no flaking. Most of the lipsticks I have tried smudge in the heat giving a clownish appearance.

In cold/dry climates, I recommend a lip scrub and a good lip balm before applying or suggest using a more moisturizing/hydrating lipstick rather than a matte one.

Got this shade on sale along with the shade “So Hollywood”. The formula definitely applies thicker and gets more sticky than the Sephora brand liquid lipstick before it dries down, but the colors are fully pigmented and a little goes a long way.

That said, it took me some tries to get it to apply and set without pilling and hence I suspect why it went on the 2-for-1 sale. I do use a dedicated lip-brush to mix and apply the product all-over, as the wand can sometimes deposit too much product near the outer edges.

This shade was a tad dark for my skin tone NC25, and the “So Hollywood” shade was a tad light, but mixing the two plus a hint of red-orange from another matte liquid-lip product produces a nice nude-mauve that complements my skin tone wonderfully.

To make it pill less and set for a good finish, I apply decent amount of product from applicator directly to the middle of my lips where the two lips meet, then I use my dedicated lipstick brush to blend out the product towards the edge of my lips.

Once that is done, DO NOT smack lips together to try and get it more even like with regular lipstick. Instead, I hold my lips slightly apart naturally and breathe through the mouth to help the lipstick dry-down and become transfer-proof.

If after 3-5 minutes or so there are some shiny spots here and there where thicker layer of product is deposited, I simply PAT—don’t wipe—or smack lips together GENTLY with a tissue (or big chunks of your lip color comes off) and I’m good to go.

Once completely dried, it should last through drinking hot beverages and light snacking. Compared to the Sephora Brand liquid lipstick, this doesn’t last nearly as long, but it lasts longer than the Armani-Beauty liquid lip I recently bought.

One-star off for the not-so-beginner-friendly formula and stickiness before dry down, and only a decent stay-ability as compared to the Sephora-Brand. Still, 4-stars for the amount of product in the tube and especially if you get it during 2-for-1 sale!.

I have conflicted opinions about this lipstick. This liquid lipstick has a very dry formula and it makes my lips extremely dry, especially if I wear it a few days in a row. It is very long wearing and it dries down and stays in place for many hours.

Unfortunately, it can look cracked and it can wear off unevenly the longer it is worn. I like wearing this lipstick under a face mask because it does not transfer. I find that this shade is not highly pigmented and the colour is not opaque or even after one layer.

I recommend applying two coats, ensuring the lipstick dries down between coats. I recommend applying a gloss over top to add hydration and prevent the lipstick from drying out on the lips. The shade “Sugar Plum†is a gorgeous bold fuchsia with purple undertones.

I will continue to use this lipstick, especially when wearing a mask, but I will not purchase this formula again.

Absolutely love this lipstick. At first I was skeptical because I thought it was just an overhyped product people would mention on social media but I was wrong. This truly is an amazing lipstick. Although this is a matte lipstick, Charlotte Tilbury does matte lipsticks in such an incredible way to the point It has a nice satin slip to them which makes it a much more comfortable wear on the lips.

Pillow talk is a favorite shade of mine I feel it’s the perfect my lips but better on my slightly fair-medium skin tone. Very Victoria is another favorite of mine because it is more cool toned but in such a perfect way it doesn’t make me look muddy or washed out.

It compliments brown eyes really well and makes your eyes pop in my personal opinion. Love those 2 shades and not to mention the nice scent it has is like a light vanilla almost similar to the scent of Mac lipsticks which is pleasing to me but might not be to others; not over powering at all.

These are the type of lipsticks I feel could do well on so many skin tones and compliment many makeup looks. Would definitely recommend investing in one of these lipsticks.

I own the Pillow Talk, Very Victoria, and Walk of No Shame shades from this range and I am SMITTEN with these gorgeous lipsticks! First off, they are beautifully packaged, they feel heavy and expensive in your hand and twist up and down very smoothly, no leaning lipsticks rubbing up the sides of the tube that get stuck and need fingers to push back down.

The colours are very richly pigmented and show up fully with a single swipe; they glide on like a dream and I hardly feel them on my lips at all when I’m wearing them. I have an issue with matte lipsticks where they bunch up on my lips over the day, dry out my lips, and dry/clumpy patches start popping up on my lips, so I was very sceptical going in.

These are pretty much the only lipsticks aside from the NARS lipstick range (also on SpaceNK) whose mattes I can rely on to look amazing through the whole day. I’ve included a little bit of extra thoughts on each of the colours I bought below.

PILLOW TALK ORIGINAL: In terms of the shades, Pillow Talk original is a stunning nude shade on me. It matches my natural lip colour so perfectly it’s almost unbelievable, perfect for wearing to work or for a day time look to smooth over the uneven pigmentation I sometimes get.

I have a woefully undefined cupid bow, so I pair this with the Lip Cheat in PT to make my upper lip look nice and full without looking fake or obvious that I’m wearing a lipstick. WALK OF NO SHAME: On me, Walk of No Shame is a really nice midtone berry colour which I was a bit unsure about, as I find it hard to pair with makeup; it usually washes me out, but this is the perfect winter shade: not too intensely red, not too neon coral.

I’ve found I have been going to this one to pair with a light pink matte shadow and some small fluffy lashes for some daytime winter glam. VERY VICTORIA: I have warm yellow undertones, so I’ve always had a preference for nudes with the same yellowy undertones.

I recently ran out of my favourite beigey nude lipstick so I thought to try this shade, and I absolutely love this one as a replacement! Some warm toned nudes can tilt TOO yellow and look dirty/ashy on the lips, but this has just the perfect balance of yellow/pink so that it’s just a LITTLE bit more beige than rosy, which looks so flattering on my skin! This shade looks best on me with sultry makeup looks where I want to emphasise a smokey eyeshadow but I still want my lips to have a slightly noticeable wash of colour.

All in all, I absolutely LOVE Charlotte Tilbury’s products, and her Matte Revolution lipsticks are clearly no exception. I will definitely be looking to add some more to my collection when I get through these 🙂 highly recommend!.

is it even worth the hype? i got this lipstick when tiktok was going crazy over the charlotte tilbury pillowtalk lip color. i was expecting a beautifully packaged and quality lipstick. long story short, i got a lipstick that was new, of course, but the packaging was meh.

the aluminum / metal container that holds the lipstick product is cheaper and lighter than it looks in the picture, and for the price point the lipstick is way too loose in the container to have a smooth application onto my lips.

when i apply the lipstick, the actual lipstick itself tends to move around a little in the container it comes in, which is just not okay for a $30-$40 lipstick. i would have expected a little heavier of a lipstick due to the metal packaging, but even mac lipsticks are better quality and heavier than this.

and they’re like $10 cheaper. as for the color, it’s okay, a mix of a nude pink and a brighter pink. nothing absolutely revolutionary, in my opinion. my honest opinion? if you just want to see what the tiktok hype is about, go crazy.

if you just want a nice quality lipstick that’s worth the price, this is probably not your best bet. good luck, soldier.

Despite only giving it four stars, this is my go-to for any and all lip color. I had to take a star off because while it doesn’t come off too easily, they have no business marketing it as long wear. You will have to keep it in your bag to reapply.

However, the color and finish make it worth it. I’ve seen other products advertised as matte finish but this is the only one that I fully agree with. The color is vibrant and there’s a range of shades for every occasion.

You’ll need a good sharpener, the one NARS offers is plenty good and what I’ve been using. I’ve read others have issues sharpening them but I’ve had no issue.

This is the only lipstick I will wear! Perfectly matte, without looking lifeless or lacklustre. It doesn’t dry out my lips or look patchy like most other matte lipsticks! It feels light, almost like you’re not wearing lipstick.

The shades I’ve used are beautiful! I also find it lasts really long on my lips and it’s so easy to apply, I don’t have to use lipliner with it either! There is no other lipstick I purchase anymore, because why mess with other products when nars has created the ultimate matte lipstick pencil! It’s also such a convenient size and fits easily into my purse! If i’m strapped for time or don’t have anything with me, sometimes I’ll put a tiny swipe of this on my eyelids and blend it in so I look a bit more put together! Sex machine and Roman holiday are my favourites! This lipstick is a massive game changer! Both of my go to shades are perfect pinks that compliment my light skin tone, it’s a lipstick that makes my lips look so much better! I’ve got a scar on my bottom lip and for a long time didn’t feel confident wearing lipstick, this lipstick has made me feel comfortable enough to wear more vivid colours without being self conscious.

Wow, I’m obsessed! This shade Maya is a perfect light neutral muted mauve. The satiny matte formula applies so easily and feels silky, creamy, and light. It feels so comfortable on the lips, like you’re not wearing anything except maybe a light moisturizing balm that absorbs leaving no glossy, slippery or sticky residue behind, yet your lips still feel super moisturized.

It blurs lip lines and hardly transfers after it dries down. It’s a my lips but better nude that compliments my fair neutral/cool leaning skintone nicely. The component is sleek, clean, smooth, a nice weight, with a powerful magnetic closure, and feels so luxurious in hand.

I’m so happy I picked this up because, the swatches on some sites look a lot darker than it really is and almost deterred me until I read some of the reviews. Thank goodness for reviews, am I right? lol.

I have this in the shade Diana. It’s a stunning. It’s described as a brick red. Put pulls a bit on the pinker side on me. The formula is super comfortable. Isn’t drying at all. Like your not wearing anything at all.

It’s not as long lasting as some mattes but I think that’s why it’s so comfortable and non drying. Love the packaging with the magnetic closure. I would definitely recommend.

I’m always looking for a great red lipstick – it’s one of my best-loved shades! This color is such a statement, I really like this shade. Upon application, I found it to be very, very smooth emollient.

It is a crazy-pigmented formula!! Although it’s ‘technically’ labeled a matte lipstick, I find it to be incredibly hydrating. It also doesn’t dry-down like a normal matte. It still retains enough shine, where I would consider it more of a ‘satin-finish’.
