20 Best Lipgloss For Dark Skin (2023 Updated)

I personally loved this product, and it’s what I look for in a gloss. It has a nice consistency on the lips. Typically, I’m really picky when it comes to this. I hate when hair gets stuck to my lips because the gloss has a syrupy stickiness to it.

I had no issues with this gloss, and it feels buttery smooth instead. The hyaluronic acid is an added bonus as well, especially with the cold wind outside. My lips feel softer after wearing, even with them being chapped from the winter cold.

The color I received it in was lovely. I normally look for a berry shade because I have many issues when it comes to finding a proper brown shade to match my cool skin tone. This was a very soft and flattering brown though.

I worried seeing how metallic it looks from inside the tube, but it’s far from that once on the lips. It looks good as is, but I can see these glosses looking fantastic on top of lipstick as well. The only thing I can see people having issues with is the smell.

I personally like scented products, and the sweet vanilla smell is pleasant to me. However, I know this may be an issue to some people as it is noticeable, and not everybody likes scented products. If you are thinking of getting this gloss, please take this into consideration first.

All in all, this product is what I look for in a gloss. It plumps, it feels great, and it even softened my lips. Very nice!.

I have a medium dark skin tone and receive compliments on every colour I’ve tried. IVE EMPTIED THE BOTTLE so here are some of my highlights because I can’t think of anything bad to say about it. the packaging to start is very convenient.

I always think it’s a plus when I can apply my lip product without even pulling out a mirror or another product (ie lip pencil). the bulky doe foot is perfect for my lips. I can’t stand trying to make multiple swipes with teeny sticks making sure I’m covered but with this doe foot it’s one swipe and done.

I also don’t need to worry if the doe foot is picking up too much or too little color! no double dipping needed or wiping off needed! it is also good packaging for throwing inside my bag with the square shape.

and because it is square it doesn’t roll off any surface making it easy to apply on the go! now for the formula. the shade and thickness reminds me of the Fenty gloss bomb. it has a light cupcake smell to it.

now I will be honest. it isn’t super plumping in comparison to two face lip injections BUT it is the most hydrating lip product I’ve ever had. I can fully replace this lip gloss for lip balm when I’m outside and I don’t think twice about it.

my favorite colors are the sheer ones with the glitters in them. they are universally beautiful. the more opaque ones I do have to touch up to make work. the shades also are good for any season and can be used as a topper for lipsticks and lip liners.

I have the color Ice. For All Intents And Purposes; Its Clear. In The Bottle It Is A Shimmery White With An Opalescent Pink Pearl Flip; But On Lips Its Totally Clear. You Might See The Faintest Little Hint Of The Pink If Youre Looking Really Hard, And With A Mirror Held Up Really Close To Your Face; Providing The Light Hits A Random Place On Your Lips just Right.

You Have To Really Be Studying It To Notice. The Texture Of This Shade –and I Say This For A Reason; Ive Tried Two Or Three More And To Me They Feel More Like A Traditional Gloss Whereas The Texture Of Ice , Imo; Is Very Unique.

Its More Like A Serum; Maybe?? Not Thin; It Has Some Weight To It, But Its Not At All Sticky. Its Not Particularly A High Gloss/super Shiny Gloss Either. Its Got A Sort Of Silicon-type Feel To It. Kinda Like A Serum Or Even One Of The Many Silicone Based Face Primers Out There (Which Is Literally All But A Few ) Its Got A Whipped Feel To It As Well; So In Spite Of It Having A Bit Of Thickness To It; Its Very Light.

More Hydrating Than Any Gloss Ive Ever Worn Before; Id Say Its More Of A Treatment Than A Gloss. Again This Is Just For This One Shade As I Felt The Others Were Nice But Not Much Different Than Any Other Standard Gloss Aside From They Had An Actual Color Or Texture That Was Visible Whereas Ice Does Not.

Also; The Scent Is Awesome; To Me Its Got A Pleasant Coconut Creme Scent. Idk What The Intended Scent Is Supposed To Be; Probably Vanilla, But I Detect More Coconut Than Anything. Bottle Is Pretty But A Bit Clunky; Meh Idc So Much About Packaging I Just Need It To Do Its Job In That Regard.

And No Its Not Particularly Long Lasting–its A Gloss. If Its Hydrating At All; It Will Not Be A Long Lasting, Wear It All Day Type Of Lip Product. So Pick And Choose Your Battles. Id Take Hydration And Feeling Good On My Lips Over Staying Power Any Day.

Also; The More Long Lasting A Product Is, The More It Will “Dry Out” Your Skin. Hydration Means Moisture. You Wont Get Long Wearing With Anything If The Product Has A Decent Amount Of Emollient Ingredients.

My review of Haus Laboratories Le Riot X Lady Gaga Lip Gloss is for colour GLASS SLIPPER. The specific colour is not listed on Influenster. Glass Slipper is a light blue based gloss, with micro blue and pink glitters.

It reminds me of the “unicorn” colours of balms and glosses from other companies. The formula is ultra thick, the pics do not do justice to the density and consistency. It applies ever so well, somewhat heavy, but the staying power is like WoW ! The doe foot applicator is so soft, collects and holds product well.

The gloss does have a little transfer, though the majority of it adheres, and for a good couple of hours. Can be worn alone for shine, and extra interest on a bare lip. The sparkle is not obtrusive, but most def there, with an overall subtle, sheer pale blue sheen.

Looks fantastic over my pink lipsticks with blue undertones. I find this a superior lip gloss. The packaging is edgy, black, obelisk like shape, with a translucent space near the bottom showing the shade.

I love pulling the gloss out of my pouch in my handbag, and asked about it. I received the product from another influencer program I belong to,for review, and it became a quick love. Lady Gaga put her name to an awesome product.

I really like this brand, which is saying a lot because I typically leave my lips bare or apply balm. First, the packing is gorgeous. I love the prism reflected inside and out, it’s very cool looking.

It applies smoothly and the applicator is uniquely shaped (they call it a doe shape, aptly named since it really does look like a doe hoof) which makes it easy to more precisely apply where/how thick you want it.

This is a shimmery, shiny gloss that is translucent and wears well over lipstick. On its own it is a tad sticky, but once it’s applied over lipstick it isn’t bad. It wears well, lasts a long time without the need to reapply, and is cruelty free/vegan.

I’ve also included a picture of Diamond Heart, which isn’t listed on Influenster. I LOVE this shade! It’s extremely subtle and doesn’t compete against the red in my face from my rosacea. It’s also shimmery and looks great over lipstick.

Definitely worth the purchase!.

Haus Labs has never disappointed before. However, I am questioning a shade called in their lip gloss. I tried it for the first time today and was shocked to see how there seemed to be almost no product on the brush itself.

I thought, “Okay, first time using this shade, and it may take a bit. ” After applying the lip liner in the shade of shank, which applies fabulously, I applied the ‘Vortex’ gloss to my lips, spreading it around, it left my lips feeling sticky – and looking patchy as far as the color.

I don’t know if I got a defective ‘Vortex’ gloss or anything. But the other shades have not disappointed.

I have 2 shades of this gloss, Fearless and Coconut, as well as Chill (clear) and I love them so I bought the new shade, Wild, right when it launched. Although it’s more pigmented than my other 2 shades, the formula is the same.

The texture is like a cross between a gloss and a lip oil that feels slightly nourishing and even though it’s lightweight, it smooths out lip lines and makes lips appear fuller without any cooling/minty burning.

The shade Wild is a medium raspberry/berry with a cool undertone and, unlike the original shades that are very sheer, this has a medium buildable color opacity and a slightly higher shine. The increased pigmentation makes this the only shade I own that I feel requires a mirror to reapply, just to ensure the color is inside my lip lines.

I’m really happy with this new shade and think it will work for a variety of skintones, from those that are vampire pale, like me, to deep/rich, depending on how much color you want. **I know many people have had issues with their glosses going bad/turning colors sooner than expected but none of mine have done that (yet) and the oldest is about a year old; I still monitor them.

The brand claims their “clean” status means they don’t use color stay ingredients and the off colored glosses are still good but I think this is due to a lack of truly effective preservatives so I wouldn’t use any that changed color.

The “clean” beauty industry has demonized all chemicals, safe preservatives such as parabens included, and the result is the faster degradation and expiration of beauty products.

My preferred lip product is something akin to the new Hourglass glossy balms. An actual balm like product that delivers reasonable color payoff without being heavy, sticky, or too opaque. My normal lip products don’t hold up well in the heat and are melting in the dispenser so I was looking for something like that, but with a gloss type delivery strictly to avoid mess.

Using Sephoras own search function this product was recommended. It says gloss in the product name, but it’s listed under balms in the search. The description says it’s light and not sticky. The review photos showed something that looked like what was described.

I figured for $15 I’d roll the dice. It got points for color payoff and longevity. As well as for product delivery, the applicator applies the perfect amount in one swipe. I also found the packaging to be a really great size/shape.

It really lost points for the blatant lie in the description. No, it’s not sticky upon first application but as it wears it gets very, very sticky. It’ll wear down to a thin layer and it feels like I have glue on my lips.

Yes, I could reapply, but I have kids and can’t stop to touch up my face every two seconds. I want something that wears down nicely so I can apply when convenient. Then there’s the way the pigment settles into lines.

I’m young, my lips are reasonably plump, but I’m human and haven’t had fillers that have over stretched my lips. So the normal lines we all have? Yeah, it’s like a zebra as it wears down. This was cheap, I’ll keep it for my next FL trip since I will have a bit more time for touch ups, and I need something that won’t melt.

But I won’t repurchase. For a balm/gloss type product I’ll stick with Westman Atelier. It costs twice as much but actually delivers on the promises. I just wish they had the same color offerings as this brand.

I own so many lip glosses and this is my fave one, so that says a lot! I love that it’s clean at Sephora, which is really important to me, esp. for a lip product, since I apply it often and would probably ingest a bit of it.

I know a lot of people commented about how weird this smells, but honestly I like the smell (LOL)? I got the shade Coconut and to me, it smells like a faint milky coconut candy. The scent isn’t strong at all, so even if you don’t like fragrance, this fades away really fast.

I’ve never purchased any other shade of this, so idk if different shades smell different or something. Coconut is a beautiful sheer natural pink shade, and it makes my lips look naturally pretty! It has the perfect amount of pink tint that isn’t overly warm or cool.

It’s very hard for me to find the perfect pink, and this is it!! I also love how hydrating this is! My lips feel super moisturized. If you’re looking for a natural pretty everyday gloss, you can’t go wrong with this one 🙂 I hope Tower 28 never discontinues this!.

Literally my favourite lip gloss of all time – I aspire to own every shade one day. So creamy & moisturising, but not sticky. Makes your lips look so healthy, imparts little bit of colour but not overwhelming.

Smells lovely. Cannot recommend enough. Free Spirit is more of a coral-toned pink, whereas In The Buff is a more classic true pink. Free Spirit is my favourite, but both are lovely.

I received this item complimentary from Bobbi Brown through Octoly in exchange for review. I received this gloss in the shade Free Spirit, which is a warm nude color. I will say as a disclaimer that, while I do like wearing lip gloss, I’m not a huge gloss person.

I prefer to wear a lip gloss over a matte lip color to improve the texture and make it more comfortable on my lips, but I tried to wear this one on its own for the most part. The color is very sheer but still definitely noticeable, which I personally prefer in a gloss, since I find that super opaque glosses can get messy and depending on the color tend not to flatter me.

I tried it both with and without a lip balm underneath just to see what the texture was like, and I actually quite liked it, but it didn’t feel to me like anything mind-blowing. I definitely don’t like to wear any lip product without wearing a good lip balm underneath, and I don’t recommend skipping the balm with this product either, but if you do I don’t think it’ll be a big deal considering the fact that it’s a gloss.

Obviously, it didn’t survive any eating, but when I wore it for several hours and didn’t eat, the shine lasted a good few hours, though the color did seem to fade. The texture was pretty good, though I can’t say I’m personally too picky about that.

Overall, it’s a nice sheer gloss with a good texture and it has some nice oils in it, but I think you could get much cheaper products that do the exact same thing.

I received this product complimentary from Bobbi Brown Cosmetics in exchange for my honest review. I’ve recently gotten into glosses after years of being a die hard liquid lippie fan. The glosses I remember were sticky and tasted horrible.

But times have changed. This Bobbi brown gloss is beautiful, it is not sticky at all and does not have a gross taste. Though I don’t recommend eating it, it kinda has a orangey smell to it, at least to me.

It is the middle of winter and where I live we have had single digits and below zero temperatures as of late so my lips have taken a beating. When I applied this I wanted to see how well it was going to moisturize so I waited till my lips were dry and applied it.

It applied easily and smoothly and gave my lips a healthy looking pinkish tint with a nice shine but not blinding or overly unnatural. I then went about my day drinking coffee, water, eating. While the shine went away, the tint seemed to remain but what I noticed most was there was still the feeling of moisturizing on my lips, like I still had some balm on.

This went on for approximately 7 hours without reapplying and even after it seemed to be “all gone” my lips still felt soft. It also held up to cold outside temperatures. It does make your lipstick fall apart if you apply it over it, but it’s got oil in it that’s to be expected.

Compared to some of the other high-end glosses I own I would say this one is definitely one of my new favorites. It also didn’t smear all over the place, it stayed on my lips. I have also worn it overnight while I sleep and it leaves my lips soft in the morning and is often still mostly there and I don’t see anything on my pillowcase.

I would definitely buy this in more colors. The packaging is simplistic but it feels sturdy.

I absolutely loved this product for multiple reasons, the primary one being that HALLELUJAH it was not sticky!!! I have been looking for a lipgloss that gives you that pop of color but didn’t stick where you felt like you couldn’t speak! Very moisturizing and the color was spot on.

The only downside for me was that I had to constantly reapply which was really not a problem per se because I loved the feels so didn’t feel caked on. Absolutely great for wearing alone or on top of drying lipsticks.

Refreshing to find a nude and pink color gang looks good on dark skin! Well done Mented. You have a customer for life as long as the formulation stays the same :).

This lip gloss is awesome. Every neutral color I’ve tried in the past made me look ***** or was just plain wrong for me. I initially tried a neutral semi-matte lipstick but the color didn’t work for me.

Then I tried the gloss in Baby Brown at the suggestion of a friend and it was an instant match. The color looks natural but very complimentary to my skin and I love the way it feels on my lips. It was very nourishing.

This was definitely a win and an item I’ll be buying again and again. P. S. The customer service was top notch. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer and have already recommended both the gloss and the foundation to several friends.

So happy to see Mented in Ulta. These lip glosses are a favorite. I bought Send Nudes directly from Mented and Baby Brown from another store. The formula is moisturizing and light enough that sometimes I just wear it around the house.

However, the color payoff is also great so I can wear it out either on its own or as a topper. I tend to wear Baby Brown on its own. I tend to wear Send Nudes as a topper because it is really close to my lip color.

Send Nudes has been great for toning down brighter colors when I need them to be more subtle. It is also the one I put on for a quick natural look.

I love this product a lot, whenever I put it on, it always make my lips glossy and soft. It’s a flattering colour and natural, I’m in love with the glitter as it makes your lips glossier (it looks cute!).

The texture of this product is smooth and non sticky and as I mentioned earlier, it gives you that brilliant soft shine. It can be worn alone or can be layered over lipstick and it works amazing either way.

It’s also inexpensive and cost-effective, totally worth it to buy! However, there are some issue that I find when using this product. First of all, it wears off quickly, it doesn’t moisturizes the lips for long which is kinda disappointing.

In that case, I’d always have to re-apply every 5-10 minute as it would go off quickly, I wish it would hydrate my lips effectively without replying every 5-10 minutes. Another thing is the scent and the smell of it is quite weird.

I’m not fascinated with the scent, i wish i could describe it and for some reason I can’t or that’s just me. Overall, I’d still buy this product if you’re looking for inexpensive gloss!.

I first bought the clear shade and loved the formula. I have small lips and I hate when gloss wands are huge, so this wand is amazing. I also don’t like thick glosses so this is perfect for me. I just bought mauve glitz and it’s my favorite so far.

I have tan skin and fantasy works but is a little too icy for me. Mauve glitz is a my lips but better shade, in glossy form, plus the glitter makes it look even glossier without it being a thick gloss lol.

An ulta employee told me it’s a dupe for Fenty Glow original gloss. I had that one and didn’t like the strong scent or how thick it was. The color from fenty was too milky for my mauve/plum pigmented lips and mauve glitz is not.

Similar, but better for me.

I bought this a couple days ago and it’s such a good lip balm. I was originally going to get the bubble colour, but I changed my mind when I got to the store. Although, I have a bit of a query, the scent of it is a bit weird, it smells like almonds, or maybe that’s just how I smell, but whenever I put it on it smells like almonds, not when you smell the bottle.

It’s quite good pricing for a good product. It lasts for quite a long time, it could probably take 1 day or at least ¾ day. You can kind of see the colour on camera but barely in real life so if you want this because of the colour, it can barely be seen but still a great product.

I love the tiny sparkles in it, it looks cute. I will definitely buy more but maybe the darker shade next time.

So I am not usually a pink kinda guy, but this gloss is insanely gorgeous! It’s so cool, unique and definitely eye-catching; as I’ve said before, I’ve always been fussy over lip gloss formulas, they can’t be too sticky, but must last longer than 10 minutes, this formula from JSC is all of that and more, it’s beautiful, thicker than the average lip gloss formula, but i actually quite like that about it.

As you’ve gathered by now, i love the formula, it feels smooth and amazing on the lip, and is very long lasting for a lip gloss! It does indeed smell just like vanilla crème brûlée, but it dissipates on application, which I am grateful for because I don’t like fragrance that lingers no matter if it’s pleasant or not.

Spank Bang is definitely sparkly, it’s like blinding jewels on your lips, you can really see the sparkles in it, especially in person, which reminds me this is in the glitter fantasy formula, it’s not gritty in any way! I will admit just like the others, they do have the tiniest bit of stickiness to them, but every long lasting lip gloss does, and believe me this is long lasting, but not overly sticky.

I 100% recommend, the Jeffree Star Cosmetics, The Gloss formula, it’s by far one of my favourite products from the brand after the palettes, of course!.

These are really nice glosses! I own 5 shades: Control Freak, I’m the Boss, Softcore Sparkle, Succulent, and Sickening. The scent is vanilla cupcake-y, comparable to MAC lipsticks in my opinion. Even though I have more of the shimmer shades than pure shine, I prefer the shiny ones over glitter.

I will say that even though the glitter shades are packed with sparkle, it is very smooth and not gritty whatsoever. They have average staying power for glosses. I feel like they’re hydrating and fade off of my lips nicely (especially if you exfoliate with a lip scrub and use a primer before application).

Overall it’s a pleasant gloss to use and I would recommend!.

This is a review for the Jeffree Star supreme gloss in WEIRDO. I’m disappointed in this product. I am typically a huge jeffree fan. Most of his supreme glosses have a cupcake smell but this one smelled weird.

Like bad weird. Also it transfers very easier to your teeth. No one wants black in their teeth. It is a gloss so it is not a full color. It does go on black but it’s not full coverage like his liquid lip would be.

You can see when you get close enough to your lips, where it’s not full pigment gloss. I applied two coats to get it to this coverage. It’s ok if you are doing a make up look and will not be wearing it long but I don’t think I would wear this if I was going out of the house.

I’m beyond upset about this. I needed to buy a new tube of my favorite Butter Gloss ever in the shade “Tiramisu”. Sad thing is I thought I was going crazy or bought a bunch of duds because I bought at least two new tubes from different stores and discovered that Tiramisu now looks like a lighter version of Angel Food Cake.

What the heck?! Not only that but I contact NYX directly with my disappointment and I get two emails back with one saying “We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may have caused you. With each season NYX Cosmetics introduces new shades in order to keep up with fashion trends.

Consequently, less popular shades must be phased out. We strive to offer a balanced shade palette with selections in each color group. ” What? This shade of lip gloss is super popular and NYX has never had issues adding new shades to the butter gloss line, so I’m calling BS.

It gets better because right after that email I get another message saying that the butter gloss is being discontinued?! I’m pretty sure that email was false, and if it was then honestly shame on customer service for giving out false information like that.

I’m just so beyond disappointed with not only a lot of us being blindsided by purchasing shades of butter gloss we loved to find them altered beyond recognition, but the customer service I received left a lot to be desired.

I love [brand:nyx] , and most of there products. I am down with their lip liners but i didnt want to try this because their liquid lipstick flop that went viral (its awful) but i was surprised with these.

Thankfully i was gifted a pack of 3. Now i have to say that these are thick, some people like that and some dont. For me it all depends on the formula and with these the only why i like them is if i apply a thin layer.

You will definitely be able to find a color you like because they come in 34 shades! The colors are beautiful and im very happy with them. I also found that even with my cool undertone the warmer shades dont look funny on me which usually happens with any other lipstick or gloss that I have tried! Another thing is i dont mind the packaging, it is not the most luxurious but I really don’t mind.

ive actually been loving how easy it is to find a color. The color of the tube actually represents the color of the gloss so when you go to pick one up you know immediately which one you’re getting. Now these aren’t going to last all day long and they aren’t transfer proof but its a gloss so you shouldn’t expect that.

However these do last longer than other glosses depending on what you are doing. Also they are affordable which is another plus to add to the list and the 3 pack they offer comes in all very wearable shades if you chose to buy them that way.

I absolutely adore this product! A light but creamy, very pigmented formula it is my go to lip product. I keep a tube on every purse and even have back-ups. My signature shade is Tiramisu, but Creme Brule and Praline are favorites too.

These are neutral yet natural shades that feel very comfortable on your lips. It feels slightly tacky upon application but it vanishes as it dries on your lips. These buttergloss enhance your lips color and staying power is very appropriate maybe because they give “your lips but better” vibes; they may transfer a bit but I’m always pleasantly surprised of their staying power.

Fragrance is very light and fades as it dries. Priced around $5, these little gems outperform prestige brand glosses, definitely a modern classic and personal Holy Grail.

I wanted to love the lipgloss, but unfortunately did not like it. My ideal lipgloss is one leaves my lips feeling hydrates, has a nice shine, has a neutral taste, and passes the sticky test. The lip gloss did not leave me feeling any of these ways.

After using the lip gloss my lips felt dried and dehydrated. The shine quality of the gloss was diminished due to how gloopy it felt on my lips. The main complaint I could not get pass was the taste of the lip gloss, it was straight up like plastic.

Lastly, the lip feel was not great either. My hair constantly was getting stuck in the gloss and my lips felt like they were getting stuck together whenever my lips touched. I really wanted to like the product, but unfortunately, it brought me back to the early 2000s and did not compare to other lip glosses out there from the drugstore and makeup counter.

I found these glosses to be shiny, smooth, not tacky or sticky and long wearing. Now, I say long wearing for MY needs. I drink a lot of tea, coffee and water throughout the day. I always have a drink with me.

So, I frequently reapply my lipstick and gloss throughout the day. I did find that even after eating and drinking I still had a little bit of gloss left on my lips, but can not guarantee how long they last orhwrwise.

The darker shades stayed put on my white coffee mugs though. I ran them through the dishwasher and there was still a residue and pigment on my cup. I was easily able to scrub it off, just too lazy to scrub before the dishwasher.

😉 Anyway, I love this gloss and I would definitely recommend it to a friend, especially at such a great price point! I will be a repeat customer. I bought a bunch of these for stocking stuffers.

I’ll start by saying I have an autoimmune disorder that makes me negatively react to a lot of super common ingredients in lip products. As such I can’t give a great comparison to some popular products.

That being said I do love this gloss. The shade Happiness in a Bottle is a lovely MLBB shade on me. The gloss is a bit thick but not sticky or stringy. It lays beautifully on the lips and seems to help make lip lines less noticeable.

It wears well as can be expected of a gloss and fades elegantly. I found this gloss on a video by Amanda Z. on YouTube where she compared several different glosses and picked her favorites. This pick did not disappoint.

I would absolutely purchase this again.

This is my favorite lip gloss formula, drugstore or high end. I currently own Pink Sorbet (top), Soft Blush (middle) and Vibrant Raspberry (bottom). My favorite is probably the Pink Sorbet( the color I’m wearing in the picture), but I love them all.

The Soft blush is just clear, and the raspberry is totally opaque. These are unscented and have no taste, which is almost impossible to find. They aren’t too sticky, so that you get that weird stuff in the corners of your mouth.

But they also feel like a lip treatment because of the hydration. They are just wonderful.

I love this product. It is my favorite lip gloss. UNTIL. I began buying it before Covid and it was sold with a secure seal that had to be removed to open the product. After Covid, I’ve noticed there is no longer a safety seal on this lip product.

This makes no sense to me. Anyone can use this before I purchase it and pass on ANY virus. I don’t understand why a company would change this safety measure especially during COVID. I will not purchase this product again until the safety seal is back on it.

Come on Johnson & Johnson. What are you thinking???.

I purchased the Hydro Boost Lip Shine in Radiant Rose. It is a rose color with a definite pretty pink tone. I like the color very much. It is very glossy and your lips do shine. I took off 1 star because it is a bit tacky on your lips.

I seem to have solved this though by applying just a bit of soft lip balm on my lips first. Then apply this Lip Shine. You don’t need much. Works like a charm! I really like the color, gloss and staying power of this Hydro Boost Lip Shine.

this would get 5 stars from me if they would change the scent. i dont really use it because of the smell. its a really strong fruity scent similar to the ysl lipstick smell but stronger. other than that is great! its super cheap plus ulta always has it on sale and with coupons.

its super glossy and its thick but not sticky. a cheaper option to the glossier gloss but i still prefer the glossier due to there is no scent. if your looking for a cheap clear gloss thats high shine and can tolerate the smell then i recommend.

I’m not much of a gloss person because I hate when anything gets stuck to my lips and I prefer something really long wearing that I don’t have to retouch much. That said, this gloss is SO good and SO worth the price.

I’d easily pay $18+ for the formula, but I’m really glad I don’t have to. 😉 It’s thick but smooth, plush but not sticky or heavy, nourishing but not too slippy – it’s just perfect, especially with a brownish lip liner.

I bought this after a YouTuber I sometimes watch raved about it, just to see if it lived up to the hype. It really does. I even love the scent, which is sweet and reminiscent of raspberry candy, but not sickening or headache inducing.

I purchased one of the shimmery shades and I don’t feel grit or thick particles in it at all when it’s on my lips. 10/10 recommend! Can’t beat the value.

Let me start with the most important piece of info: YOU NEED THIS PRODUCT. I like to list the pros and cons of products I use but honestly, in my opinion, this product has zero cons which makes it a no-brainer for anyone who has dry lips, wants a product that feels moisturizing and luxurious, or needs something a little extra above and beyond the traditional chapstick or potted lip balm situation.

Here is why I love it: – This product is high quality – it performs and it does exactly what it says it does, and it does it well. This mask locks in moisture and makes lips feel smoother, softer, and more supple.

You will not be disappointed with the performance. If you have extra dry lips, pack on an extra thick layer of product before you sleep. – The price is incredibly reasonable for the quality and quantity of product you get.

It lasts a long time and isn’t overpriced. – The SMELL!!! This smells delicious, gently fruity but not artificial or abrasively scented, just subtle yummy deliciousness. – The packaging is pretty on my countertop (glass jar with a screw off plastic lid) and effective – the mask comes with a little spatula for the application so you don’t have to dip your fingers into the product and potentially contaminate it (wash and clean spatula after use).

– You don’t have to use this product just as an overnight mask. When my lips are dry, I smooth some on during the day all the time, and it gives a satin/glossy moisturized finish. I also use this to prime my lips if I’m going to be wearing a lot of lip products that day.

The instructions say to layer on the product and to wipe off the residue in the morning, but I don’t do this part – I find it has mostly soaked overnight and whatever product is left feels nice on my lips! If you’re on the fence about this lip mask and you want to try a product that is incredibly moisturizing and luxurious-feeling on your lips, try this mask – in my opinion, the price point and quality cannot be beat.

All of them are amazing except for “glided sage. ” I have medium toned skin and the sage color doesn’t show at all on my skin, especially since it’s the only shimmery one of the bunch. Maybe if it was matte it might show.

However, I which they came out with more matte colors that are green such as forest or emerald green, that work better for medium toned skin. I am also hoping to see more eyeliner colors as well. This eyeliner is great, except for the waterline area, it will not work if you are trying to do a kohl look.

It’s too moisturizering for that and instead smeers all over the place. This eyeliner is better for everday looks on your upper eyelids and on the upper lash line for a nitetime look but not for your waterline.

I also noticed for your bottom eyelids it is best to line the lash line and only a bit at the bottom making a small line, if you go bolder, throughout the day it will smear to you under eye circle area, thinner is better for under application.

I am a huge lipgloss fan; always have been. I was super excited a few months back when I learned that Cle de Peau was releasing a newly reformulated lipgloss. When they finally arrived in store, I rushed over to check them out and ended up walking away with several shades including Fire Ruby, Warm Crystal, Charm and Rose Pearl.

Warm Crystal and Charm have stayed in my purse constantly since picking them up – they’re that good! The wand has a twist configuration, which may look gimmicky at first, but actually allows the gloss to spread evenly across the lips as you apply.

Nothing gathers in one area more than another and the wand hugs the lip shape nicely. The formulation of the gloss is very hydrating and not at all sticky; I find the formula very comfortable and I love how it feels on the lips.

The pigmentation is sheer; these are not opaque lip glosses – though to me the fully opaque glosses are more shiny liquid lips in my opinion – these are true glosses. I regret not picking up Rose Quartz on my initial purchase, so that is back in my cart and will likely go straight into my purse with Charm and Warm Crystal.

Cle de Peau is an expensive, but worthwhile brand, so the price point on these should make it more accessible to people. Yes, it’s still pricey for a gloss, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the price point – they were something I was planning to pick up regardless.

I highly recommend checking these out if you like glosses and enjoy a hydrating lip look!.

Rose Quartz is my favorite lip gloss hands down. Beats any other brand. It’s the formula that does it for me. Feels like a light gel, non-sticky, comfortable. You can wear this in warm weather without the heavy, sticky feel of goopy lip gloss which I cannot stand.

A little goes a long way with the application of this product so you don’t need to use as much as most lip glosses to get a beautiful look, which adds value in price per use because this is not cheap, but well worth it to me.

The wear time is average as for any lip gloss so it doesn’t stay on the lips, but I do not mind reapplying. I have olive skin tone. Rose Quartz would look amazing on anyone. I repurchased this AND a backup.

Bought one for my daughter because it’s one of those products that is so good you just need to try.

I just received this product in Fire Ruby. The moisturizing texture of this gloss was very soothing to my lips. The color was bold but not overpowering. This color will wear very well for my virtual meetings.

I am so pleased with this product and look forward to purchasing more colors.

I wear this A LOT. It’s a great everyday lip gloss. It goes well with casual looks as well as more dressed up looks. I’ve put it on top of some matte lipsticks to give them some sparkle and that works well too.

I’ll keep buying this. I work in healthcare and wear a mask most of the day and it doesn’t come off on the mask often, if at all. Most days there won’t be any on the mask. Highly recommend.

I picked this up a few months ago when it was in the Oasis three gloss set just to try them. I am super impressed by how smooth this gloss is and that it doesn’t have that sticky feeling other glosses have.

My go-to color out of these glosses is Groupie, which happened to be in the Oasis set. I also love how it has the subtle smell of vanilla and isn’t overpowering like some glosses. Seems to last a while on the lips as well.

A great gloss that won’t break the bank! Will definitely be purchasing backups.

I love this product. Contains vitamin c and other wonderful ingredients that plump and hydrate. The consistency is amazing! It goes on smooth and has a high shine finish. Does need touch ups throughout the day as any lipgloss would but it’s a great product for the summer to keep your lips healthy and hydrated.

The bronzite shade is lovely and matches my bronze blush.

I really wanted to like this as I love my lip products from honest. This was just a miss for me tho. The ligment is beautiful but has an odd grainy texture when applying. I can overlook as it does seem to smooth out ok and have a nice gloss texture after applying.

But after trying this multiple times i noticed my lips burned a bit and were becoming irritated. Maybe something in this my lips just doesnt like. Dissapointed and had to return. Ill stick to the tinted lip balms.

Love this gloss! It’s soothing and has great staying power without feeling sticky. And since it’s clean it’s my new go-to gloss. I got the Moonstone flavor which is essentially straight up clear — would love another clear option with more shimmer too for those days you need that little extra sparkle!.

This gloss has a sparkly finish that looks glossy yet natural, which I love. It is long wearing, and moisturizing. My skin, and especially my lips, are so dry they soak up most moisturizing products right away, leaving things dry again quickly.

This gloss locks moisture deep enough in my lips that they heal faster and continues to provide it for hours afterward. I bought a second tube of this after buying it the first time. That’s how much I liked it.

I was a little skeptical about buying gloss from FN. I thought it would be the same quality as buying from the beauty supply store. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Its gorgeous and feels amazing like a higher end lip gloss.

I love this lipgloss, I just purchased this lipgloss a few days ago from the hair store and it was only $2. Very pigmented and creamy, I use this lipgloss with a brown liner and it looks so good. I already gotten so many compliments with this gloss on.
