20 Best Lip Scrub For Smokers (2023 Updated)

I used to use Lush’s sugar lip scrub and didn’t have the time recently to purchase my usual, so I found this one. Not only is the product absolutely worth the price, but it’s a really great lip scrub.

I think I’ve replaced my usual with this one! The sugar crystals are a good size to scrub and massage your lips and the formula has a Vaseline-like mixture with the sugar so that your lips feel like there is a moisturizing layer after you rinse the sugar off.

I personally don’t like licking the sugar so I wipe it with water, and the only downside is that my finger that wipes the sugar off gets a layer of the shea butter formula as well. If you are not sure to try this product, definitely try it when there is a good sale so you really do not spend much on a lip scrub.

Also know there is a peppermint refreshing scent and flavor in the sugar, so if you’re sensitive to that just be aware of it. I love peppermint so this really exceeded my expectations. It has smoothen and softened my lips and provided a nice scent!.

It works ok, but that’s the extent of it. It does the job, but it feels odd on the lips. I didn’t like it very much. Be careful using this if you plan to wear foundation because it won’t go on right if you get this around your mouth (even after you try to wash it off.

) I will use the rest of it, but I probably won’t repurchase it. The smell is divisive. I would’ve given it three stars if it weren’t for the pleasant yet strangely disconcerting scent. Whatever you do, DON’T LICK IT LIKE THEY SUGGEST!!! It left a gross aftertaste for the rest of the day.

I know they said “it’s not food” but they tell you to like 3 words before so I don’t know. Bad idea. Just wash off with water.

So I really love the way this lip scrub smells – minty ones are my favorite but very hard to find outside of the holidays. It also makes my lips SO smooth after I use it, which is a huge plus. The only thing is that the sale granules are on the larger side, which would be find for a body scrub, but I prefer finer grains in a lip scrub.

And I mean these are fairly large, like real coarse salt out of a grinder. I tried to get a pic but it’s hard since the product itself is clear. But that’s really my only complaint!.

I was on the hunt for a good scrub. Most scrubs have a low crystal content and a higher moisturizing content and i tend to like it the other way around. While this scrub is a bit on the pricey end, it is amazing!! It course just like i like it, and after one use my lips were pretty smooth.

I tend to bite the skin off my lips causing them to bleed, and when they heal my lips are dry and flakey. I take lip care very seriously, and this scrub will keep my lips healthy during the winter months and hopefully keep me from biting the skin when I’m stressed or nervous.

I will be purchasing this scrub when i run out.

I have perpetually dry, chapped lips. Lip balm doesn’t seem to help and other lip scrubs just dried them out more. They were always dry and looked horrible with any lip product on. Not to be dramatic but this scrub has literally transformed my lips.

Just a tiny amount took off ALL the dead, dry skin on my lips without damaging the healthy skin underneath while moisturizing and plumping them! After one use, my lips were soft, smooth, and plump. I followed it up with some lip oil to hold in the moisture.

I have the brown sugar one, at first the smell turned me off, but the taste is just like brown sugar. I can’t recommend this enough. This is a product I will willingly dish out money on to always have for my nightly routine.

Works very well. I can pull sheets of skin off my lips every morning. Since using Sara Happs lip scrub, no skin to pull! Seems dry when you open the lid, as you scrub its very lubricating takes off all dead skin.

The product itself is great! The brown sugar flavor tastes just like rubbing brown sugar on you lips. It’s in natural oils that leave your lips so super soft. My 3 year old daughter even loves it and she’s scared of everything, LOL! We both get really flaky dry lips that will bleed if you try to peel the flakes off and this takes the flakes without taking healthy skin.

The price point is amazing too to be organic, fair trade, vegan and cruelty free. Just around $3 at Walmart. I use it every other night and that seems to be the winning time frame. The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars from me is the packaging.

I really don’t like dipping my fingers into any product. It just feels unsanitary even if my hands are clean. I also get sugar crystals under my nails. This brand does have a lip scrub in stick form that I will try when this runs out, but if it doesn’t work as well, I still have no trouble purchasing this product.

I recently purchased this and was so happy I did because it’s my absolute favorite. It has the perfect sized granules to exfoliate the lips without it being too harsh. It smells delicious like a sweet sugary vanilla treat.

Texture is the best. I’m really loving this scrub. So sad that Bite Beauty is no more. I really love their products. Highly recommend if you can find it.

my lips are forever changed not to be dramatic but this lip scrub has changed my life. my lips are constantly cracking and peeling, can get very dry and i’m always attacking them with an exfoliating sponge to try to maintain their smoothness.

The tube it comes in is just darling and it’s also wider so you’re getting more product than a lipstick. Under the cap is a little white mound with black dots (think poppyseeds) inside. I put it on thinking “Where’s the scrubby dubbys?” like a typical exfoliant.

I could see them but wasn’t feeling them. The first couple of times I used this, I felt like I was using chapstick. I applied, then wiped with a dry tissue as directed. The more I thought about it, I knew that something was wrong, so I stuck my finger on the top of the product and smash! The exfoliating particles were revealed.

I then put THAT on my lips and rubbed in a circular motion and that was the key. You have to basically pop that top of the product to get to the good exfoliating part of it and that should be mentioned in the directions.

I will say, my lips definitely felt softer and it removed some of that gross dry skin I have on my lips.

Oh my lips – where do I even begin? I’ve had high cell turnover on my lips for as long as I can remember – practically my entire life. I was looking for a lip scrub before it was even trendy to do so – constantly wiping my lips and hoping nobody would notice.

Needless to say, my lips shed above average. I am well familiar with the purpose of lip scrubs, and have used one regularly made by the competitor to this product. Admittedly I am going in with super high expectations, and unique needs for my lips.

I was disappointed in the lack of granularity in this formula. The sugar granules were something as an afterthought – instead of the showstopper I was expecting from a lip scrub. This felt like a lip balm trying to double as a scrub.

That is exactly what it felt like on my lips – as if I had mixed a spoonful of sugar in with an otherwise normal lip mask. The lip scrubs I tend to enjoy have very large and coarse sugar granules that really dig in to the skin and do a heavy duty exfoliation of your lips.

This is not that. I will say that the little exfoliation that I did achieve with this product allowed my lips to look healthier and smoother than they did before. There is definitely a lip balm consistency here – and the leftover product clung to my lips like a balm after rinsing (box says contains cocoa butter).

This is a nice effect if you were not already planning on using regular lip balm/gloss afterwards. Overall I feel like this is a lip scrub for people who don’t really need lip scrubs – sort of a daily ritual that keeps your lips polished and clean, but not deeply exfoliated.

This is more of a lip primer than a true lip scrub – might make lipstick or pigment apply easier, so something to keep in mind.

It sounds like I am one of the few that do not like Bliss products, but here is why I really dislike this lip scrub. First, the vanilla scent just smells weird and off to me. I can’t quite put my finger on it but it is off-putting.

The scrub doesn’t really exfoliate my lips the way I think a sugar scrub would. And the after film left once you rinse your lips is very greasy and almost sticky. It is almost like you took honey and butter and rubbed them on your lips.

Honestly, this combo would likely feel bette than this lip scrub. I just finished panning this a couple days ago. The one positive I will give it is that it lasts a long time because no matter how hard I just tried to use it up, it lasted what felt like forever.

I do not recommend this product and would not purchase it again.

I am in love with sweater weather, but I loathe the chapped lips that come with the chilled air every year. While perusing the wares at Ulta, I found Bliss Fabulips Sugar Scrub. I already know I love Bliss products, but I am really impressed with this sugar lip scrub! It is made of super fine sugar and walnut shell.

I apply a little bit to my lips with a clean fingertip and it buffs away dry skin while exfoliating—soft and smooth lips, just like *that*! This scrub contains jojoba seed oil, as well as shea and cocoa butters, so it is putting in some serious work! This stuff is saving my lips this Fall.

(Bliss uses Clean ingredients, is Cruelty Free, and Planet Friendly. ) 10/10.

Who wouldn’t want to have peach-scented, soft lips? The JOAH Sugar Doctor Lip Scrub works really well for gently scrubbing dead skin off the lips. The small sugar granules effectively scrub and it’s all user-powered.

Pretty much, the harder you scrub the harder it works. The shea butter super moisturizes the lips leaving them soft. It’s a great first step before applying lip color. And if you use a lip product that’s matte or long-lasting, a quick scrub removes most of the color.

The peach scent is delicious! And a little bit goes such a long way. I’ll have this pot for a good amount of time.

What I did love about this is the generous amount of product for (approx) $10.

I decided to try this lip scrub. Packaging is simple appealing. Great price. Smells great. Leaves lips smooth hydrated but not for too long. Sugary grains can be licked off or wiped off. I wish it would last longer.

My lips are on a larger size and can get pretty dry with the winter weather. I have been trying to find a product that would help me exfoliate my lips for years! This one really does work. It’s course enough to get the dead skin off, I had to repeat it 2 times to get everything off.

Then I follow up with their No. 0 lip balm. The combo works well for my thick lips. it’s def. on the pricier side, but if you have dry lips, and you are looking for supple lips look like me. It’s worth it.

The tubes are big enough and it has been lasting a while.

I love Olio E Osso lip products and use their number 10 morning and night. The lip scrub is just as good, feels so good going on and doubles as a night balm. The coffee smell is delicious! The problem I had is that coffee smells wake me up, so it just doesn’t fit my my night routine where I’m trying to wind down, relax, and get sleepy.

I have used a large number of lip scrubs in my 62 years and wanted to find something less expensive than the Lush scrub that I had been using for years with unexeptional results. When this arrived I was surprised at the small size, which was less than about 1/4 the quantity of what I had been using, so this was actually way more expensive per ounce than what I have been using.

HOWEVER, it is the best scrub I have ever used and will happily pay this price forever. This is not anything like typical scrubs. It seems dry with little oil with the texture of very, very fine sand, rather than the typical large sugar crystals drowning in oil.

My lips were more dry and flaky than I had ever experienced and I had doubts that this was going to fix this, but I was desperate and gave it a go. After scrubbing and wiping off with a tissue my lips were surprisingly very moist and much smoother, but it left some dry loose skin.

After daily use for a week followed by the overnight intensive lip treatment, my lips are like new and have never been better. It did not achieve my budget goal, but far exceeded my expectations. I won’t use anything else going forward at any price.

I am very unimpressed with this lip scrub. The one I have came with hardly any product. Seriously, it was almost panned in the center when I took it out of the box. I literally hit huge pan in the center with my first use.

This should not happen until a lip scrub has been used daily for around 2 weeks. So, that’s a big problem. (Look at the pictures. You can see the pan through how thin the product is before I even used it.

And, you can see huge pan after only 1 use!!) Also, there’s hardly any sugar in this “lip scrub”, so it doesn’t exfoliate the lips well. This lip “scrub” is essentially just another lip “balm”. I definitely would NOT recommend this lip “scrub” to anyone.

I would actually warn them about it, and suggest that they do NOT but this product.

I like the flavor (I got honey) and I like the balm it left behind. But, unfortunately, as an exfoliator it was nearly useless. The sugar or whatever crystals Clumped together nearly immediately when you start rubbing, resulting in one big clump.

You can’t break apart the Clumped so it’s useless to just rub one thing around. I hate flaky lips before use and continued to have them after use. Wouldn’t recommend as a lip exfoliator, which is like, it’s job.

If you want a balm to just wipe 90% of it off, there are better options out there.

I never leave reviews, but I have to say that I’m EXTREMELY impressed with this product. My lips suddenly turned into a dark/purple dull colour from hormonal issues and stress. Then I came across this product.

I researched a bunch of other brands but I was sold on this price point along with the ingredients. I bought this lip scrub (which I use 2x a week) with the lip lightening salve (which I use everyday) and within 1 month of use I’ve seen a SIGNIFICANT difference in the colour of my lips.

It’s been two weeks since I bought the lip lightening scrub and almost a week for the lip lightening salve. They both smell good and leave my lips supple and the packaging is so creative. I use the lip scrub after I wash my face in the am/pm and follow up with the salve as needed for moisture.

I literally thought I’d have black lips forever from smoking but due to these amazing product they are getting noticeably pinker ! If you have the same issue, I recommend it 100 % but you have to be consistent to see the changes quicker.

I had a lot discoloration on my lips due to hormonal changes and smoking. It was so bad that not even lipstick could mask it. This lip scrub is amazing. I used it twice a day in the morning and at night in combination with the balm.

I started seeing result in one week. I have been using them for 14 days now and love it. The balm is also great before make up, it makes my lips so soft and plumped. Don’t get me started on the packaging.

This scrub is pretty good. I like the way it’s designed for you to just put on like any other chapstick or lipgloss. No dipping of the fingers. It also has a nice taste. I lick my lips just for the fun of it.

It’s also pretty light. I actually wish it was a little thicker but, after wiping it off, your lips will be super soft so, it does it job.

I have multiple lip scrubs and I have to say that I always come back to my over and over again. I prefer the packaging as you don’t need to use your fingers to apply it. It has a great flavor without that chemical taste that a lot of lip scrubs have.

The sugar is not too hard or too fine so it has just the right amount of scrub to leave your lips feeling fresh and new all over again. I will continue by it and continued to use it even over my high end brands that I currently have.

I absolutly love this Chaz Dean Bella Spirit Lemon and Rice Lip Exfoliating scrub. Its not so gritty that its making my lips raw but its just enough to get the job done. The feel soft,most not all but most of the dead skin from my lips are gone, the colors back in them, there a tiny bit plumper and bezt part they are moisterized and most if not all natural ingrediants.

The only tjing i would chang is making the smell a little better. I highly recommend this product.

I’ve used other lip scrubs in the past where it felt like it was really scrubbing off dead chapped lips in a harsh way. This is a nice gentle scrub with a nice scent. I feel like I can really smell the rice scent! I used the Wen Lip restorative treatment to follow and my lips feel very soft.

I have used this lip mask the last two days/night and I actually really like it so far. I am the most indecisive person on the face of the planet so I went back and forth with the reviews for a few days before deciding on this mask.

The biggest con I was worried about seeing in the reviews was the “stickiness. ” So, yes it is a little stick but it is not the stick you are thinking. When I heard sticky, I thought the sticky that you get with a goopey lip gloss where your hair gets stuck in it when there’s a slight breeze.

no. This is a good sticky. It’s like a creamy stick and for some reason I am sooo in to this consitency!! However, as far as how it works. I have not used this product long enough to see any long term results, but what I can say is, it has a good consistency, it does stay on for a good amount of time, it’s absorbed by morning, and so far my lips are at least feeling better! It’s also a super pretty color and make my lips looks super plump and pretty while it’s on.

So I do recommend this product and hope this review is actually helpful for anyone as indecisive as me. :).

If I could get only one lip mask from the drugstore this is the one that I’d get. It’s gorgeous inside and out. It’s texture reminds me of the laneige lip sleeping mask that I stopped using when I learned that it wasn’t vegan.

This is the best product for your lips! Mine get cracked and peely in the winter and being pregnant it’s 10x worse! I was kinda iffy by the reviews and one negative review had me wondering. But I decided to go for it and I’m so glad I did! I’m new to lip masks and this would be the first but I like how it feels! It’s not sticky but more like the consistency of neosporin but buttery.

I personally would like to see it come with a little spatula so I don’t have to use my fingers but it’s fine. Also if wanting a more firm consistency could put it in the fridge. It has a nice rose scent smells like actual roses and has I nice pink tint to lips without making my lips look like I have color to them.

I use this in the place of alll my former chapsticks and balms!:).

This is my FAVORITE lip scrub I’ve tried thus far, and I’ve tried quite a few so far! I love that it’s cbd infused most of all, and the packaging is sleek and shiny. It’s a sugar scrub, so it tastes good, but it’s also had the right amount of exfoliation and doesn’t melt before I even get it in my lips.

After I’ve throughly exfoliated, it melts down to a really nice moisturizing balm, that really pumps my lips! I also swear that it has a slight tingle, but that just may be the way it reacts with me, or my imagination maybe, but I like it! I haven’t tried many Milk Makeup products yet, but given my love for this product I think I need to definitely try some more! My only complain with this one is there could be more of it given the price point, but I still love the formula.

Love this product! You’re supposed to rub back and forth when you put it on and you can really feel the scrub occurring. Afterwards you can leave what remains on or wipe off the excess. I just love the way I can see the little pieces of dead skin coming off and afterwards my lips look so soft and fresh.

This lip scrub is really good & would definitely recommend it, it is quite rough on the lip tho, but it does what it should. however lol do not use it daily like i did it gave me a small blister on my bottom lip (i used it every day tho) i think you only need to use this once a week if that, i use my lip balm after it to smooth it out.

Would recommend using once weekly or twice if your lips are really dry use with a petroleum jelly for softness and lip hydration but overall worth every penny it is supper affordable.

This is for this brand lip mask – I received this product with December Boxy Charm. It is a lip mask. I dont think this is thick enough to be an overnight sleep mask. BUT as a person with dry lips, I never knock down lip products.

I use this during the day. I keep it next to my desk and freely apply. It is helping heal the cracks in the corner of my mouth. It is very thin and becomes oily when applied on the lips. Gentle vanilla-y scent.

Bought this at Costco in a multi pack. My lips were perfectly fine but now are now DRYER than before I started using it a week ago. Was using the basic cherry Chapstick brand happily when I ran out and grabbed these.

Now my lips are ROUGH and wrinkled from dehydration. And it only lasts on my skin for about 5 minutes – not eating, dinking or kissing anything/anyone. How can this be so bad? All flavors are doing the same thing! Also, the tubes were only filled with product less than half the tube size.

I guess I should be mad at being ripped off, but I hate this product too much anyway I will be better off not using it. If I could give it zero stars I would.
