20 Best Lip Filler For Volume (2023 Updated)

There is a reason that this product is frequently sold out. It is the best lip balm or lip gloss I have ever tried. The formula is thick and tacky, but it stays on all night, making my lips plump, moisturized and delicious looking in the morning.

lol. It does NOT take the place of fillers, or compete with them. My lips have never been this healthy in the winter. Some people have complained about the taste or smell. It doesn’t have one, however if you are looking for an edible Lipsmacker experience, you will be disappointed.

I started out ONLY using it before bed due to this product (like most Revision products) being a bit pricy for my budget, but a little goes a long way and reapplication is not necessary. I have also started using this as a gloss over lip color.

I have already purchased a second tube and when it comes back in stock, I will probably buy more to be sure I never run out. Also this will probably become a future birthday/mother’s day/stocking stuffer staple for those I deem worthy of my affection.

I have tried so many expensive lip products for my dry, flaky lips over the years. This is the first product that truly delivers on the claims it makes. I am highly impressed! Yes, the product consistency is thick, but that’s what helps lock in the moisture, and in a few hours your lips feel well moisturized and the sticky feeling goes away.

I am a huge fan of this lip replenisher and will never do without it again. I have used lot of different lip products in the past and I can tell you this one by far is the best with moisturizing, plumping and smoothing lines caused by aging.

I have even gone to the extent of putting another product of the same price and category as this to compare on one side of my lip and revision on the other and it’s incredible the difference witth the result of the revision product.

I know a lot of reviews complain that the product is sticky and yes it can be but I honestly feel like because of this the product stays on longer and absorbed in faster and doesn’t just come off when drinking, eating etc.

The sticky feeling doesn’t last very long and product absorbs quickly leaving you with a beautiful line free pout and no dry peeling lips. I use as my last step in my night and day routine and it also works great under and over lipstick.

I also feel like this is a great product to use to help prolong lip filler results too. Highly, highly recommend!.

This Dr. Brandt 3-D Lip Plumpfix AM / PM Lip Plumper is a great lip treatment. It is a two-sided lip plumper that contains two different tubes. There is a tube on each end that contains different products in each tube.

The AM Tube is a plumping primer. The PM Tube is a nourishing lip conditioner. The AM Tube contains the lip plumper. The PM Tube contains a conditioner that nourishes and hydrates lips. I have very dry lips 24/7 and am always looking for a great lip product that hydrates my lips.

If it plumps them it’s a bonus. This does both. It’s basically a lip treatment and lip plumper in one. It does it all! It makes my lips feel soft and hydrated and not parched anymore. It contains hyaluronic acid which helps give your lips volume.

The lip plumper has a little bit of sting to it but not much. I don’t normally like lip plumpers that sting but this one does not bother me at all. It’s a great product! 😍❤😍❤.

This is the best lip gloss / treatment I have ever purchased. I have one in my purse, car, coat pocket, desk drawer, and makeup bag. I love it and I give it as a gift often too. The pink is extremely sheer and hardly noticeable which I like.

It plumps up your lips and gives them a nice glossy look. I have had people ask me if I had gotten lip filler after using this! Which, I have not, so it was a great compliment to the product.

I saw this on tik tok and immediately ran to buy it and it’s amazing. My lips are always somewhat dry and crusty and I can apply this once in the morning (7 AM) and my lips still feel and look hydrated by 2:00 PM.

Regular lip balms don’t do that for me. It has a slight bubblegum(?) scent to it that isn’t overpowering so if you are sensitive to scents you should be fine. I don’t like pink on me at all, but this gives a healthy and natural pink flush to the lips that is ever so noticeable (at least on my darker skin tone).

I love how plump and juicy this makes my lips feel. It does give your lips a gloss, but it’s not sticky or tacky like some of the other lip plumping glosses. It’s very long lasting; as long I as I don’t eat I can feel this on my lips for hours after application.

I notice that when I’m consistent with use the fine lines in my lips are less noticeable. Great product. I do wish they made one with SPF.

I just bought this gloss earlier today and am already in love. I’m not a gloss person because I hate for my lips to feel sticky, and I don’t love reapplying product often. THIS is different. Yes, it burns like you smeared a jalapeño on your lips, but it doesn’t bother me.

The sensation just makes me feel like it’s effective. I threw this on over a neutral, brownish nude liner (Charlotte Tilbury Iconic Nude), and not only did it look absolutely beautiful but it lasted for HOURS.

It’s not overly glossy to start with, but adds a gorgeous sheer reddish pink tint to the lips and a pretty sheen. Once the sheen wears off it leaves that same enhanced-but-natural-looking tint behind, which just cemented its status as my new favorite lip product.

In fact, my favorite lip product I’ve tried in a long, long time (and I buy too many of them already). I do also find it enhances the size of my lips, but obviously even more so with the liner to anchor the edges.

First plumper I’ve tried, here’s how it went: It definitely burns, I’d say it’s a very hot jalapeño type of burn like you cut em up and accidentally touched your face. As someone who has spicy food every single day, I could deal with it but it was enough of a burn that you can’t just forget about it, you’re very much aware of the pain throughout.

The burning lasted exactly 1hr, with it toning down a bit after 30min or so and only burning on the edges of my lips or all around if I pressed them together. It turned my lips a dark red, and did plump them but it was subtle enough that I had to go back and forth between my pictures to really pick out the difference in size.

This did not dry my lips out or cause any skin problems on me and I have sensitive skin and tend to be allergic to several face masks, soaps, etc. I’m hoping other brands have a more dramatic plumping, if not then this one’s definitely worth grabbing due to the low price.

Next one I’ll review is the Grande Lips plumper, much higher price point so we’ll see if the plumping is noticeably more dramatic than this one. First pic is without, immediately after with, 5min later, 45min, and 2hrs later.

Omg y’all, I really don’t write reviews but this deserves one. This is the best plumping lip gloss that leaves a LONG LASTING tint. And it doesn’t dry out our lips like most. I’ve tried FENTY’s heat lipgloss and I love it but this essence lipgloss is wayyyy better.

The plumping sensation isn’t bad or extreme. But you feel it for sure. When I got it and wore it the first time, I got so many compliments and people asking where I got it from all day! I only reapplied 2 times throughout the day, and the tint lasted until I washed my face.

Save your money and buy this when you can! Keeping this puppy in my bag all the time!.

I was so amazed for the first 20 minutes the first time I used this product. It actually REALLY works-noticeably plumps your lips up and gives them a natural strawberry red tint. And then it’s gone…and even if you reapply, it doesn’t have the same effect as when you first apply.

From my experience, you have to wait several hours between applications to get the maximum effect that you get upon initial application. That being said, it REALLY does work…so much so that it made me want to get lip injections to keep that result.

I never did, but the results that this stuff initially gave, definitely made me consider it. As for the tingle factor, yes there is definitely a sting for a couple of minutes when you first apply, but nothing too terrible unless you are just super sensitive I guess? Be careful not to get the product anywhere outside of your lip line, because whatever it touches, it will turn red (that must be whatever the ingredient is that causes the sting).

It goes away, but not after a good several minutes of having clown lips.

I have thin lips that I always want to make bigger and use lip plumpers all the time and even use lip liner too to draw out bigger lips so was eager to see how the results on this new lip plumper were like.

This serum applies really nicely and has smooth and silky formula. I apply to clean bare lips since this lip plumper is tinted in Flush, a nudish pink with sparkles, and wait and soon enough my thin lips plump up, are more voluminous and I even see a slight decrease in lip lines to my amazement! Im so excited to have found this product because by far have seen the biggest results no pun intended! My lips look naturally larger too and not swollen or anything.

It has a great formula because unlike many lip plumpers this one barely tingles nor burns. The color is really a tint and not highly pigmented so I can layer this lip plumper over other lipsticks and it does leave a gloss behind too which is nice with some sparkles.

I do feel the formula is also quite hydrating as well and my lips do feel quite hydrated when using and afterwards as well it feels as if it helped condition them. I do have very slight lip lines and did notice a slight decrease in their appearance when using this lip plumper which was nice too.

I was super excited to try this new Plump Shot lip serum by Buxom Cosmetics especially with the new sparkling shades that just came out. The shade I got was called “Guilt” and it comes in a gorgeous frosted see-through tube that shows its very pretty sparkly sheer gold color that I immediately fell in love with.

The lip wand applicator is elegant and has a soft tip that glides on the lip amazingly, and the box packaging is very eye catching; the platinum/silver bold wording stands out and screams high end. The Plump Shot is infused with vegan Collagen and hyaluronic acid to increase volume, plump and decreases fine lines of the lip over time.

I have only been using the plump shot for a little over a week and my lips do feel slightly more plump and very hydrated. I absolutely love the sparkly gold color; the pigment is amazing and looks great on my lips.

There is a slight tingling when first using but quickly goes away, the lip serum is a bit sticky at first but that also quickly goes away, and the lips feel amazing after. However, it is hard not to lick your lips at some point and the taste of the serum is a bit mentholated so I would recommend trying not to lick your lips until completely absorbed into the lip.

Overall, the lip serum works great so far, and the colors are exquisite I will definitely be buying other shades and would recommend to others.

Buxom Plump Shot Collagen-infused Lip Serum in the color GILT. The application went on perfectly, did not get an over load of product. I could control how much product went onto my lips. I could apply a very thin layer.

The product was not sticky when applied and wore through the day. Stayed on lips, felt good on lips. My lips were left soft. The product tingled at first application, it as not a bad feeling. The problems I found was that the glitter in the product would move around, and I would have glitter around my mouth and beyond my lip area.

This product made me feel to old to use with the amount of glitter it has in it. It made my lips look nice using this product, love the feeling and softness of my lips. When it came to plumping, I really did not see any affects.

In some ways it felt like an illusion when the product is applied. It smooth the lip area out. From the pictures people posted, the same like appearance I got. I don’t think it really plumps, its just an illusion people see from the product.

I am torn, I like how the product makes the lips feel soft, but the glitter makes me feel to old to use. If they remove the glitter, then I would be using this product all the time. Its a really good product, but the glitter is way to much.

At 58 I had notice my thinning lips, but had no desire to have lip injection. I like the application packaging with a simple click to advance and prevent getting more product than I need. I feel it lasts longer than if it had an unregulated squeeze type application system.

I have had noticeable improvement in my lips looking smoother and fuller within a week of use. I apply this product before bed as it can remain on my lips for a longer period of time for the one application.

I’ve seen mixed reviews about this product, and in my honest opinion, it’s a pretty good plumper. I have average sized lips and I do have some lip lines, and this really does make my lips look smoother and a bit “juicier” than normal.

It seems like I always have chapped, peeling lips from October through March. I wanted to give this a try because it states that it will plump my lips. I’m happy to report that it not only gives me a little fullness but solved my chapped lips too.

The best one I’ve tried and the only one that’s not just Cheyenne pepper extract lol at least it has other beneficial ingredients. It’s not going to make your lips bigger, it’s just going to smooth out their appearance and if you choose one with color it will give the illusion of more volume.

The Cheyenne burn is extremely mild, i cant see it bothering anyone. It’s very minty smelling. Compared to the many other “plumpers” I’ve tried, it’s the most worth the money. Way better than city lips.

If you have lip fillers, i highly recommend it because it seals your lips so the moisture the hyaluronic acid is pulling from your body to your lips stays there and isn’t sucked out by the environment.

Someone without fillers isn’t going to gain much from this product. Not enough to spend $30. There’s no topical product that’s going to give you what fillers do. If you’re young and just want your lips to look more pronounced, you can do that with the right lip color and gloss.

If you’re older and want to get rid of lines, it’s not gonna do that. If it was that easy, people would spend $500 to have needles poked in their face. If you use gloss anyway, might as well use this one because it’s a good product with vegan and safe ingredients.

My only complaint would be it doesnt stay on enough & I’m not crazy about the petroleum like sticky consisty. But that’s a trait of all of them on the market. The clear and raspberry are great, both have a natural appearance.

I received the Dior Lip Glow in the shade 001 Pink And — I swear to the Gloss Gods, I never knew how much I NEEDED this product until now. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get enough of this — and I owe it all to Dior Influenster for introducing me to such an AMAZING product! To be completely honest, I was a bit skeptical over the products overall effectiveness.

Let’s face it. we’ve all been let down by our fair share of sticky or greasy, short lasting lip-balms (sometimes worse than the ones we’ve played “dress-up” with as kids. ) This balm looks like an intense shade of pink in the tube, but is actually a subtle translucent pink once applied.

Even after it has eventually worn off, there’s still a nice hue of color on my lips that looks incredibly natural. I don’t know exactly how it tints the lips but when rubbed or wiped, the color does not transfer at all.

The pigment also lasts a long time without having to regularly “touch-up” throughout the day. As for the formula itself, it’s very hydrating — keeping my lips supple moisturized; Making it the perfect cross between a gloss, balm and a lipstick.

I adore the packaging and the lightly scented fragrance. I especially love that it’s restoring and protecting my lips, all while giving me a “custom” shade of that beautiful, rosy glow. The color does not last long, but rest assured, the ability to nourish all day.

I have bought Glinda three times and wanted to purchase again and it’s GONE!! Please bring this shade back! This is the most versatile shade; it’s not pinky or iridescent and seriously looks good on any skin tone.

This is the best gloss out there: plumps, perfect amount of shimmer, shade matches any makeup application style/color, and lasts as long as a gloss can. I recently changed all my makeup to Thrive products. I purchased the color “Ashley”. The difference I found between the high shine topper and serum (color Ruth) was that the serum has more color, moisture, and a little heavier consistency than the topper.

The applicator picks up the product well and allows for easy application. It goes on smoothly, light coverage, beautiful shine, and not glittery at all. The product works well as a top coat to lipstick or on bare lips.

It does need to be reapplied if worn alone more frequently, but leaves your lips hydrated. I liked the product so much that I now have all four of the colors. {Tip: Apply lip liner to outline and fill in lips then add a topper color over it.

I want to start by saying that I absolutely love the color of this product – once it’s on, it looks gorgeous! However, I hesitate to even use it because it is the messiest tube of gloss I have ever owned.

This is stored in a dark, cool, dry place, and whenever I open the tube, the product glops everywhere. All over the place. Even if I think I have cleaned it up, I end up with it dripping on me during application as well as oozing out while trying to close.

On top of that, it has oozed out after closing & cleaning the tube, too! I don’t know if I have a faulty tube, but I’m so disappointed.

This is an excellent product and I will continue to use it. It gives 24/7 hydration. My skin has never felt dry since using this product. I apply a small amount after using a toner and then apply my usual moisturizer afterward.

It lasted 3 months, so yes, definitely worth the money. Will also try their other products.

After using Fillerina 932 Lips and Mouth Grade 5 several years ago. and LOVING the results, I decided, upon the advice of a LovelySkin email, to buy this product instead. ( I don’t believe LovelySkin has Grade 5 in the Lips and Mouth 932, only Grade 4) I have used steadily, night and day, for over 2 weeks and seeing zero results.

Extremely disappointed in the advice and the product.

I have to admit I was skeptic about this product but when I used it, immediately after the first application, I really noticed a tangible difference. This product really works and the filling effect last for at least 3 months.

I will definitely buy again.

Thoughts on this cherry vanilla shade: I love the color! It’s a soft red on my lips, and it comes with that cherry vanilla scent some of us grew up with. A great touch of nostalgia! As for the product itself, I can see both why some people are disappointed and also why some people see this as a holy grail.

If you’re considering this to make your lips look instantly larger in size, I don’t think this is the best product to purchase. Something like the TF Lip Injection is better there (although those STING while this doesn’t).

Instead, this is a product that instantly smoothes lip lines – which is still plumping, but something you’ll deal with as you hit your 30s vs your early 20s! I noticed they also added Maxi-Lip, which is a patented peptide system that may encourage collagen production.

You won’t see this instantly, but stick with it and you may – I personally really like that peptide blend (over time, and still note the effect isn’t the same as literal lip filler, but a soft and subtle plumping) I’ll also add that I feel this product is a bit on the heavier side.

You do feel it on your lips, more akin to the Fenty glosses vs Tower28. This does help in the lasting power department! Hope this review is helpful!.

Someone complained about these colors being “90’s” and saying she would never wear these “cheesy pink” colors. Um, what? These are sheer glosses with a hint of color, nor are they all pink. I don’t know where she was in the 90’s, but these shades are very much on trend and they aren’t “cheesy” whatsoever.

Velvet is a beautiful hint of a cool, nude pink and they all make your lips look super juicy and luscious. People also complain about stickiness, but if it weren’t sticky, they would be complaining about how it doesn’t last, so cosmetics companies can’t win.

Stickiness is essential to get a gloss to stay- otherwise it’s coming off in half an hour. If it feels “goopy”, too much product was used. It’s totally possible and easy to spread a smaller volume across your lips to get the same effect without the goopiness.

Usually I would not complain about some product being left in the bottle that is inaccessible because companies claim the volume you can get OUT of the container, meaning you are not being ripped off, but in this case, I’m not sure this was tested this way for label claim.

Glosses are tougher to test for volume and brands don’t always test volume capacity by how much they can get out of the bottle- it’s just set to fill at that volume at the filler and that’s it. I think if it were tested for total dispensing, they would have caught the fairly large amount left over.

I got this in the Sephora faves kit, and it’s great – I wasn’t looking for a gloss, but here I am – first, let’s talk about how it looks. the color of “velvet” is actually pretty sheer – that color pooling in the lip lines thing you see in the pictures doesn’t happen at all to me, even with extended wear.

it’s just enough to enhance lip color without looking like you are wearing anything specific. love that. the gloss also doesn’t feather, bleed, or travel around, and I’m not using primer or liner of any kind.

now on the texture and feel – so, this IS sticky, and it *can* transfer. if you slap this on the first time like me, you might over apply, but I promise that it settles better if you really work in a single coat.

more than one dip into the tube for most people would be to much, it gets stringy and goopy at that point – but that single coat, worked in and left alone? one coat in the morning lasted through the day, and even testing this overnight in place of my usual petroleum based lip mask held up – it was *still* there in the morning! still not to dry or sticky, still no smearing, legit saved my lip texture even overnight.

as far as glosses go, this is a solid choice, and I’m probably going to be buying more than one color.

Bought this after trying in store, looking for a plumping but hydrating gloss that doesn’t sting like the Too Faced can. This is amazing in how little it takes to make your lips feel truly hydrated, glossy, and if it actually plumps (many claim to but don’t, noticeably.

) then great. Caution: this is very thick, so will not appeal to those wishing for a sheer application. It has a slight scent of mint/vanilla, but because it’s “clean”, that may be the combo of ingredients.

Highly recommended this mini, since it doesn’t require much product to achieve the goal. The full size line has a gorgeous frosty shade (can’t recall the name) that is equally effective. My HG for many years is Buxom.

This is thicker and worth trying if that’s your preference.

I genuinely prefer this lip mask over Laneige. I own multiple flavors of the Laneige and find myself using this one instead every night. It’s hydrating but not as thick as the Laneige (which I personally like), and it has a nice tingly minty feel to it which is the “plumping” effect.

It doesn’t outright sting like Too Faced Lip Injection lip plumper but it does have a cooling minty tingle to it. It also has a light scent of strawberry candy. I wake up in the morning with full, hydrated, healthy-looking lips.

I don’t think it actually plumps other than the temporary minty tingle, but it does remove the lines on your lips caused by dryness. I just love how naturally healthy and pink my lips look everyday now! The Laneige is very hydrating overnight but I find myself still needing lip balm throughout the day and I dislike how thick the lip mask is.

They both have the same amount of product. The only downside is this doesn’t come with a spatula or scooper. I wouldn’t scoop it out with my fingers as that’s unhygienic so I use the little scooper that comes with the Laneige lip mask.

Overall this is my new daily fave!.

BOTTOM LINE: If you are looking for an alternative to the Laneige lip mask, pass on this. It’s not a nourishing lip mask like competitors and dries out the lips if used overnight. LONG REVIEW: I was hoping for more from this lip mask, especially since it’s an overnight one—you’d think it would be super hydrating like the Laneige masks.

However, this one falls more under the category of the Ilia lip mask that I wouldn’t buy again—it wasn’t very hydrating and my lips felt tight when I woke up in the morning. I much prefer an overnight lip treatment that keeps my lips moisturized, rather than solely focusing on plumping.

It also tingles upon application so if your lips are sensitive or chapped/broken/etc. (not all that unusual given how dry it has been this winter!) then it might sting. Also it’s a smaller container so not as generous an amount of product as some competitors’ lip masks.

I might repurpose this as a day-only lip balm so I don’t waste the product. It’s a nice color, and I do like how it feels initially on the lips, plus it does seem to have a slight plumping effect. But if you are expecting an alternative to the Laneige lip mask, look elsewhere.

I was hesitant about buying this, as I’d read mixed reviews. I am so glad I took the risk. It’s really good stuff. It has a pleasant smell, not too strong, just gently delicate. It moisturises well, and continues to do so all day.

My make up glides on so well after I’ve let this sink in for 5 minutes. I also use it around my mouth and on my lips, and it gives me a gorgeous pout.

I use it for lips and crows feet for about 3 days and now i ve start to use it for the entire face, ( lips ) , and neck after my serum with salicylic and the moisture i received from this cream is amazing ! No purge , no breakout at all and i am crazy when it s coming to products applied to my face ! Totally recommend ! Unfortunately it’s really expensive for the quantity but not for the quality.

Ps: don’t rub it , just apply tapered motions all around and DON’t expect the fillers result as this is not injectable, but the brande got 6 and9 molecules particles sizes of hyaluron, and for the moment is the only one who provide this.
