20 Best Lip Balm For Women (2023 Updated)

Fully fulfills its purpose from the first application. My lips are extremely dry and chapped if I don’t use balm one day. In the first photo I had 2-3 days without using any balm, my lips looked dark, swollen, with cracks and 2 skin that I tore off before taking the photo.

DISADVANTAGES: -Price a little high compared to other similar. -Difficult application, I try to be careful but when I apply it I end up smearing of the product around the lips. -Oily sensation to the point that the skin around your lips shines and perspires, which becomes unpleasant.

-The smell, although not unpleasant, smells like play doh plasticine. I would buy it again if I find it on sale.

This is an insanely popular lip balm and there is obvious reasons why! First the way this lip balm is compacted is awesome. You can fit this little ball of moisturizer anywhere…. In your pocket, hand, bag… etc!! Eos has a variety of different scents to choose from.

They are all pretty strong but I love the strawberry. Unfortunately, I had to rate lower because this did make my lips break out with a rash! I do have sensitive skin and a lot of products tend to make me break out with a rash so I was disappointed by this.

Overall, it’s a cheap product and you should read the ingredients first before buying to make sure you are not allergic to anything beforehand. I had reaction to this specific product but I would still be willing to try other eos products and I don’t have any known allergies but this lip balm wasn’t compatible with my skin.

I don’t wear full-on lipstick often, but I’m pale and need color on my lips to look alive. My lips are also chronically dry, and on top of that, I’m hyper-sensitive to artificial fragrance and my lips break out in tiny, painful bumps even with basic Chapstick.

All of this to say that I’m constantly searching for great lip balms, especially tinted ones. Honest Beauty tinted lip balm is now 100% my holy grail. It’s moisturizing and doesn’t irritate my lips or cling to dry spots, and it goes on quite pigmented.

I don’t expect incredible performance from a balm, but it can last for several hours and, best of all, it wears off evenly and leaves behind a stain on my lips so that I look natural and alive between applications.

I have the colors Blood Orange and Plum Drop, and they both look great with my pale, neutral-undertone skin. Plum Drop is basically a dupe for Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey but is actually moisturizing (the Clinique dries me out a bit).

I will definitely be purchasing more colors, and I’m crossing my fingers that this will never be discontinued!.

I have very chapped lips all year round. Had it as a child. Heredity for sure, my brother and sister suffer through the same. This lip balm has changed my life and have bought it ever since. Got my sister into it as well.

I see a lot of comments about the tint. The tint is light but it’s there. Get a lipstick if you want more coverage. A lip balm is meant for the moisture more than it’s color. I personally love the fruit punch on my skin tone.

It makes my lips come to life. Also note it’s ingredients if you get an allergic reaction before purchasing. Super important.

This tinted balm is a staple for me now! It has a thick but silky feel and lasts for hours. I got the shade Summer Melon and it is a true blue-pink, not orange like many vegan pinks. The pigmentation is perfect and looks natural and not cakey.

The balm doesn’t have scent other than faint vanilla. There’s a generous amount of product in the bullet so I hope it will last the summer. Looking forward to collecting the other shades!.

I’ve tried all of the flavors of the Kiehl’s lip balms, and I think the best flavor for me is the mango because I love a sweet fruity fragrance for my lippies, and I just love mango in general. I’m using mint at my last tube, and it does have a little bit of a tingly menthol feeling when applied and smells just like mint.

The formula is excellent, and works fast to soften lips! It’s a little more liquidy compared to other lip balms which is why it comes in a tube dispenser. I believe the squalene in the formula does wonders to add moisture to lips, and it absorbs fast.

If you don’t mind the tube container, this lip balm is amazing. I Just note these are clear and have no color. It’s great for a topper over lip tint if you don’t like thick, sticky lip gloss. This is somewhere between shiny and sheer depending on how much you apply.

I received a tube of this lip balm with one of Kiehl’s holiday sets from last year. This is a very plain lip balm – there’s no fragrance (which is great for people that have skin that’s easily irritated by ingredients like fragrance) and no pigment.

It doesn’t really penetrate your lips and really moisturize your skin – it kind of just sits on the top of your lips. If you want something that’s really moisturizing, I would use the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask at night, and then you could use this during the day.

The first ingredient is petrolatum, which isn’t the *best* ingredient for your skin, since it actually has no real long-term benefits for your skin. Also, many of the mainstream lip balms out there have petrolatum as their first ingredient as well that sell for much cheaper, such as Vaseline.

If you want a lip balm like this in a tube, this is a fine option. I personally like Glossier’s Balm Dot Com a little better, which is available in 9 different flavors (one is unscented), and some have pigments, so there’s a lot more options for everyone.

It’s $2 more expensive than this balm for the same size, but I believe that it’s more moisturizing and I love the flavors/colors (then again, my skin isn’t irritated by fragrance or artificial coloring – I understand some peoples’ skin does).

While this lip balm doesn’t have fragrance in it, it definitely has a chemical scent that I can’t quite place. It’s a bit similar to an Aquaphor scent, and if you accidentally swallow a little bit, it’s not very pleasant.

In conclusion, I would recommend this lip balm to people that like Kiehl’s and/or have a sensitivity to fragrance/color in other lip balms. However, I do think that Vaseline is a cheaper alternative to this lip balm that is just as good; if you want to splurge a little bit more, then I’d recommend Glossier’s Balm Dot Com for all of the options that they offer and its slightly better performance on my lips.

I love the lip balm, just not the lack of applicator. I fish a lot and can’t use this when I need it the most. I would have to stop, wash my hands dry them just to add a little to my finger to apply it to my lips, then wash them again so not to get it on my rod and reel much less the bait/lure.

Those are exhausting steps I shouldn’t have to do every single time I want to use a product. I’m done buying anymore until you come out with an applicator. Especially in this day and time of Covid going around where I’m touching everything and have to stop what I’m doing find a bathroom wash and dry hands apply it then wash again to get it off my finger.

You let me know when you have an applicator built in and I’ll buy your product again, until then forget it I’ll take my business somewhere else. I’ve called you multiple times before about this and you obviously don’t want to listen to feedback from your customers.

As we head into the colder months, I tend to stock up on lip balms. As a new mom of a 1 year old, I’m prone to lose or misplace things, especially something as little as lip balms. I picked this one up when it was on sale at ULTA in August, and I’m sure I lost it by now, lol.

But when I did try it, it was very moisturizing. I loved how it felt, BUT not how it looked. As someone who tends to reapply lip balm constantly (I hate the feeling of dry lips), I realized that the more I apply with this product, the pinker my lips looked.

Now, I was okay with the color change. But the pink was like a pepto bismol color, and that was not flattering at all. Which sucks because I absolutely loved how it felt and wore. Even smelled! It smelled subtly like roses which I liked.

But I know to take it slow when it comes to this lip balm. This may even be something to wear with lip liner considering how bright this made my lips, at least to contrast the bright pink and make it more wearable.

So I ve been suffering with dry lips for awhile now, frustrating coz just doesn’t feed nice, no idea why coz I believe in moisturising every part of my body. Tried pretty much everything, highly recommended lip balms etc, drug store & expensive! Anyways was just intrigued by the brand Milani, for some reason lol.

So decided to try this out. What an amazing product. My lips feel amazing in just 48 hrs. Gonna stock up. A must try, might work for you as well!.

This lip balm is not moisturizing AT ALL. The color changing is only noticable if I put a lot on. The rose scent also smells like a middle class old lady’s perfume, tbh. Even though I didn’t pay full price for this, I’m still SO mad about it.

I plan on returning it. It’s getting 1 star from me because it actually does change color on my lips. There are much better lip balms out there for a better price, so I don’t recommend this one.

I bought: -orgasm -fast lane -dolce vita -turbo They all had the perfect amount of tint for a balm except for Fast Lane. Fast lane matches my lips pretty closely, so that’s part of why it didn’t have much color, but even a swatch on my hand was pretty sheer.

Im still considering keeping it because it was still more color than a clear balm and it looked nice!! All of them are great for every day wear, and the different range of shades allow to coordinate better with whatever I’m wearing! The formula feels great on my like lips and the color is very buildable.

If I do one light swipe, it’s a nice light tint with enough moisture. If I want more color, I can do another swipe and it looks great. It doesn’t look like i have too much product on either, which is why I’d consider this to be very buildable for your desired color payoff! Would definitely recommend if you want something that adds a little color but not too much.

Other tinted balms I’ve tried almost have TOO much tint, or the color looks weird if you put more than one layer. I can coat my lips in this like i would with sheer chapstick and it doesn’t look weird! And I can also do a light coat and it feels moisturizer still.

Removing 1 star bc Fast Lane could be a little more pigmented, but overall, still good.

I received this mini duo set for my birthday gift at Sephora and was pleasantly surprised. The mini chic packaging is stylish and flashy, the easiest mini compacts I’ve ever used. I’ve always heard great things about Nars’s bronzers and blush but never made the commitment of actually purchasing.

After being gifted these little FIRE compacts, I’m hooked! They’re as amazing as everyone says. The Laguna bronzer is super pigmented, a little goes a long way. It’s stunning on with a little shimmer sparkle hue which looks beautiful in a dark or light setting.

The same goes for the lip balm, it’s absolutely stunning. I thought the Laguna “ brown “ shade would apply brown, it doesn’t. It apples like a summer golden glaze. It extenuates the golden goddess vibe, less is more but really.

less is MORE. Love this definitely will purchase the large sizes once I get through both of these!! I really recommend. I’m interested in trying their other shades as well!.

Nars’ Afterglow Lip Balm is a wonderful product. I love using it, especially during the height of the pandemic. Wearing makeup under a mask was very difficult especially since I have always worn a full-face of makeup.

Because I didn’t want my makeup smudging off from contact with the mask, I have been looking for good products and tips for making makeup last longer. This lip balm does the trick. By no means does it last a long time.

However, the color is so sheer and faint that it is wonderful for layering. Yes, I could go for a lip stain, but lip stains are often too drying for me and I would rather find something moisturizing than something with high color payoff.

This lip balm is very great for applying layers upon layers. I love reapplying this lip balm throughout the day. It is extremely comforting on my lips.

I LOVE the color. Midnight Magenta is perfect! The weight is perfect. not sticky at all. What I DISLIKE about this product is that it is a “weird” smell and taste. It’s almost nauseating. Very chemically.

I had to throw the tube out because the smell/taste was gross. Otherwise, it would be perfect and I would stock the HECK up on it. So sad.

This is the best gloss that cost just coins compared to other brands. I will say right away that I do not use this as a single product (although I would really like this, but it flows very much from the lips).

BUT, at the same time, this is is the best lip gloss that I have ever found, just need to add: contour pencil and your favorite liquid matte lipstick. I took darker shade of pencil(No name, similar to old Kylie waterproof matte lip liner, some Marsala shade), made a contour with drew vertical lines on the lips imitating wrinkles, applied ABH Crush matte liquid lipstick, and then applied just few little drops of this chapstick (nearly Nude).

It’s looks and feels so good, ABH usually make lips dry, but with this chapstick on top – it feels so comfortable. Of course it is transfers like any gloss. But this gloss looks expensive, no micro shimmer pieces, just a glossy glassy finish.

Really love the smell ! Like it smell realllyyy good. The packaging is small and cute, it can easily hold in your pockets or a mini purse , it was not damaged and had all necessary info. It was gentle and moisturizing and had a small tint when on the lips.

Would definitely try again, and I also wanted to try the other flavors !.

I have all of the more darker shade ones like rose, red dahlia, and hibiscus. They are perfect for when I want to do barely any makeup on no makeup days like sundays or outdoor activities- spf concelar, stain blush, tinted balm done.

There are more colors on the Burts Bees website and at other storea than on ulta. I also wish they brought back the color Forest they had years ago for fall for a limited time. That shade was great and somewhat a 90’s shade I used to wear but not too much.

I wish Ulta sold more if not all Burts Bees products. There are only a few here that every other store sells as well. Burts Bees website has so many other products for the whole family, I wish it all sold here too.

Plus, ulta is always late with new Burts Bees products compared to other stores, wish they stocked sooner.

So I was dying to try this new lip balm and I saw some of the recent LE launch on sale so I picked up both Red Maple Bloom and Deep into the Redwoods– Both are pretty but Deep into the Redwoods is GORGEOUS !! Its seriously one of if not the most gorgeous tinted lip balm I own and believe me; im a die hard lifelong addict of lip balms, oils, and glosses.

This color; in the tube looks like a tootsie roll. Lol. Its a deep nude. But on the lips its not brown it just gives your own lip color a lil kiss of depth. This is coming from someone who is a half a beat up from the palest person on earth.

Maybe. Both are super sheer. But just like a nude lip neutralizes and lightens your lips; Redwoods neutralizes while deepening your natural lip color and evening it out without adding additional pigments of red and pink –which you won’t need because they are already pre existing in your natural lip color; to varying degrees of course.

COVER GIRL PLEASE MAKE THIS COLOR PERMANENT!! Seriously; this is what the market is missing and we need more of these super sheer, glossy , deeper nudes to balance out all the pinks, reds and berries.

Its just so natural and so freaking stunning!! As for the rest of the lip balm; I only have the LE colors so perhaps the ones for sale above are different as ive read many reviews commenting on how pigmented they are–i can definitely say I would respectfully but firmly disagree.

Mine take some layering to build up. Its not a single-swipe kinda situation here. Its gonna take some elbow grease to get you there and that’s coming from someone who is see through pale. Hydration wise; meh.

I wouldn’t look to this to heal chapped lips; it is hydrating but in a sort of generic lip balm type of way. The formula is lightweight and moderately glossy and you won’t really feel it on your lips.

IMO; its like Cover Girl got their hands on Maybelline’s Baby Lips formula and duplicated it without the flavor or scent. The packaging is sort of boring and a little too chubby in diameter for my taste; however, its functional and the lid stays on when in my pockets and handbag and thats all that really matters.

So its like Baby Lips grew up and went to Law school. I deducted one star for lack of scent or flavor–id much prefer a strong yummy flavor or at least a tingly minty flavor as opposed to nothing. So in regards to that and the packaging it’s boring; but if you can get your hands on Deep into Redwoods; DO IT.

If you know me, I always have a lip balm with me as I loathe the feeling of dry, chapped lips! I have been using Covergirl’s Clean Fresh Lip Balm in the “Clear as Crystal” shade and I am so very impressed by it.

It goes on smoothly and I have nothing but good things to say about it! It surprisingly lasts a very long time (the advertisement claims that it actively hydrates for up to 24 hours, and this could quite definitely be true, as it even lasts a long while with my mask on!) The stick is nice and buttery.

The formula is quite moisturizing but does end up on the normal amount of moisture side once it “sets”. Crystal clear goes with any look and season, and I love it as it is both versatile and highlights my natural beauty.

As a lip balm, I really like this. It’s super hydrating and comfortable while not being sticky. It’s a very thin formula, which I prefer in a lip balm, but does plenty of good for your lips. It doesn’t seem to have any smell, which could be good for folks who prefer unscented products.

The lip balm itself is a glass-like clear balm with a purple flower suspended in it. One thing was that it was supposed to change colors on my lips and it really didn’t. It just acted like a clear balm/gloss for me.

I don’t mind that, but it does say color changing on the packaging, so that’s probably good to know.

I just got one yesterday, wow, yes it’s VERY moisturizing and yes it’s a bit glossy but it’s a smooth balmy gloss that stays put and because it a smooth balmy gloss it adds this juicy look to your lips, it’s not BAM in your face pigment but a beautiful touch of color which I love for a day to day look, clean polished not too over the top but natural and fresh.

It’s more balmy than glossy, but I love this new type of product that gives me the best of both. Applicator tip is smooth and appreciated! It’s a mirror metal finish and you’re able to wipe it clean between uses and see any gunk on it.

Taste is not noticeable but the smell is slight vanilla but very pleasantly vanilla and subtle. I love the color and looking to get the mauve pink soon since it’s a “my lips but better” color Best part is, when it is wiped away, it doesn’t leave your lips cracked and dry.

Almost feels like a treatment product. So it is also a 2 in 1 in that sense as well! Love this!.

Ordered color “Jam,” the color itself is fine (not much pigment, but it’s lip balm, not lipstick or stain), and I do really like the texture — it feels kind of plush and creamy, with enough waxiness and tack to last pretty well.

But the price point isn’t great (these are less product for a higher price than Glossier Balm Dot Com, for example), so that plus the lack of actual visible color doesn’t thrill me. but the real deal-breaker is the REVOLTING vanilla-cake-batter-ish scent.

I have had very dry lips this winter, and have tried countless brands of lip balms and lip treatments. Expensive ones and inexpensive ones. These are great! I have the clear and tinted. They are nourishing and beautiful! The balm is substantial and thick.

It is a little hard to squeeze out of the tube because of how thick it is, but I found it to be a perfect consistency to remain on the lips. I can put some on before bed and when I wake up I have soft hydrated lips that have absorbed the emollients, but I also still have some balm keeping a barrier there.

It’s perfect! The tinted ones are absolutely lovely!! Even the clear is glossy, but they don’t slip around! I am so glad I found these! I have back ups of them all now. You won’t regret giving them a try!.

I love the texture of chubby sticks because I have dry lips and most lipsticks make them dry, chapped and peel. I had the fuller fig chubby stick and while the color is a bit dark for me it’s the color it leaves behind on my lips that I really like.

I also have the Carmel in the intense line and it’s a better initial color for me but not balmy enough. Now to curvy candy. I wanted a pretty flattering pink and this ain’t it. I have red hair and freckles and this pink is not good on me.

Does Curvy Candy have an orange/yellow warm base? I think it does, and I need a blue based pink. I also bought two ton tomato and it’s basically curvy candy just with more of that day glow orange. I’m disappointed as I saw reviews saying Two Ton tomato is a good red for redheads, um, not this one.

I won’t be buying anymore chubby sticks – sorry I bought these. If you need a moisturizing lip color this works for that but keep in mind it seems the pinks and reds and corals all have the same coral/orange/yellow warm base, which may be good news if that’s a flattering undertone for you.

I may repurchase fuller fig but 20 dollars just for the subtle color it leaves behind is kinda meh.

Excellent and undupeable, the clinique chubby stick in super strawberry is the lip product to beat. Everyone I’ve gifted it to has loved it and the color looks great on all skin tones (a lovely warm strawberry pink).

Dare I say, it’s even better the Almost Lipstick in Black Honey? The formula is creamy, buildable, and comfortable to wear. There is no irritating fragrance. The staying power is not strong, but it’s easy to reapply on the go and the color payoff is excellent.

The only drawback is the tube–when you get to the bottom, there will still be a little left that’s impossible to get to without a scooper and that I loathe to waste. Even so, that’s a frequent complaint with most lipsticks and lip products, so it’s not a huge deal.

I’ve gone through dozens of tubes of the super strawberry and it really is just the best and so so flattering. There are several drugstore and mid-tier brand dupes for the formula and packaging, but they’re just not the same.

Give it a try and you won’t look back.

This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE LIP BALM, or at least it was. I cannot explain to you how much i loved this lip balm. Im the kind of person who owns like 100 tubes of lip balm and never finishes one. The milk and honey lip balm however has been the only tube of lip balm I have used up completely and even fully used up no less than 10 tubes.

I repurchased it recently and noticed the packaging was different which is fine. Then I put it on and realized the formula had also changed. ITS GRITTY AND AWFUL. like a lip scrub not the smooth buttery lip balm it used to be.

I had hoped it was a bad tube and bought another one from a different store, but it was also gritty. I am DISTRAUGHT over this. I cannot find a perfect replacement and I’m so sad. Nivea, please change the formula back.

For as long as I can remember I’ve always carried lip balms on me for my dry lips. In high school the late 80’s my friends called me Suzy chapstick after the famous skier who did commercials. My lips would peel and bleed.

I discovered Nivea and it worked like magic to save my lips! I have a stick in every jacket I own and all through the house so I never have to go far to put it on. Milk and honey is my favorite. Milk and honey is very mildly scented.

The other flavors are too much. Way too intense. I also love mint and minerals as it’s a delicate scent and not overpowering, but I thing they stopped making it. I get migraines so strong scents are avoided.

If you have issues with the strong smells, try this one.

I found this product on accident at the grocery store and decided to give it a try, turns out I loved it. It’s compact and purse, car, backpack or diaper bag ready! I really enjoy the intense moisture without the glossy feeling.

Hands down my favorite lip balm. Very moisturizing and hydrating. The lip cream has no fragrance and color additives. Application is very smooth and easy. It is able to glide over your lips effortlessly.

The lip cream tube is designed to be slated to help with easy application. In the past, when I’ve used it once or twice over a cracked finger and it did wonders to help with it further cracking. The product has squalane and ginseng root extract, to help boost hydration.

While olive oil and aloe help soothe irritated and dry lips. This product does contain lanolin oil which is an animal by product. Lanolin is secreted from wool-bearing animals. Thus, this product is NOT vegan! I was lucky to be able to pick up a pack of 3 DHC Lip Cream at my local Costco for $19.

99. Definitely a steal. It currently goes for a pack of two for $16. 99 on Amazon. The main company also sells the lip cream on their site however shipping is needed. Making this lip cream in credibly rare to find at a local pharmacy.

Not easy to find a Japanese product. My biggest regret is not stocking up on this product at Costco. Compare to the common chap stick brand Blistex found in most pharmacy, DHC offers less product. Blister is.

I have dry lips even tho I drink tons of water but absolutely require a lip balm every night otherwise they feel really uncomfortable in the morning The balm arrived. Its in a long slender peach container saying DHC LIP CREAM, looking lovely.

I’m thinking, Great! When I opened it the Smell that hit me was overwhelming. It was Petroleum Jelly like a famous brand. I thought this has to be defective surely. They wouldn’t want it to smell like this on Purpose.

Would they! I applied it to my lips. It glided on as a balm would, then the smell got even stronger! It has Lanolin oil, Lanolin, paraffin amongst the ingredients. I’m one for reading ingredients and always the leaflet that comes with any medication.

The very last ingredient was aloe leaf extract, I thought is that the “blended skin softening botanicals”? There are other ones, Candelilia wax which has skin softening ingredients and is widely safely used in cosmetic industry.

Have to be honest, it doesn’t taste nice either. So, the Upshot is Utter disappointment. Paid extra for what promised to be good. I also purchased a lip oil ,more disappointment! I really wanted it to be fantastic.

What a bummer So now I’m still on the hunt for a moisturizing lip balm If you want your lips to smell like petroleum jelly, knock yourself out!.

it is very rare that i make reviews on here, but ahh! this lip balm is gorgeous. i’ve been very loyal to my glossier balm dot coms these past three years, but i decided to step out of my comfort zone and i’m glad i did! when i took my tube out of its box (which the box is very gorgeous btw i don’t want to throw it out!) the first thing i noticed how heavy the packaging felt, very heavy in the most luxurious way possible, i was not expecting that but i’m glad that’s the way it is because no one wants something at this price point in a flimsy tube.

the tiny is so pretty, it’s very rare that we see browny-nude colors in tinted lip balms, usually it’s berries and pinks. when i put it on my lips it felt like butter, the scent smelled like a nearly cakey lemon buttercream not too overbearingly sweet but slightly fresh as well, which i personally love! it reminds me of something i had in my childhood.

this stuff SOFTENS my lips. i’ve tried dior, glossier, clinique, burt’s bees, cover girl, you name it. this tinted lip balm is a WINNER! tied for first place along with my birthday balm dot com from glossier.

this stuff is so moisturizing, soften, slightly plumping and smells delicious. it’s a cult favourite for many reasons i now understand. i’m completely blown away by this, it has surpassed my expectations to the point where i’m considering getting another shade.

This item was gifted by Fresh in exchange for an honest review. The Fresh Beauty Sugar Lip Treatment in Papaya is good for when you want to moisturize your lips, keep them moisturized, and add a pop of color.

The variation “Papaya” definitely does not refer to a scent or taste, as I detect no fragrance or flavor when I wear this. Which is not a bad thing since that keeps me from constantly licking my lips or eating the product off.

The shade to me looks more like an almost cherry red as opposed to an orange, which is the color I think of when I think of papaya. It applies with a medium sheen (not too glossy). If I do not reapply the lip treatment throughout the day, the sheen dries down to a pigmented stain.

Another thing I enjoy about the sugar lip treatment is the overall presentation of the packaging. It is housed in a metal case that twists on instead of a case that you pop on and off. You can securely carry this in your pocket or handbag.

No need to worry about the top coming off, and the product making a mess in your pocket or your purse.

I absolutely LOVE this product, it is literally the perfect lip balm. I bought this the day of my senior prom because I needed a new lip balm and have been wanting to try this one in particular for a while and it did not disappoint, as soon as I applied it I became OBSESSED.

It’s not too heavy nor too light, it’s not greasy nor chalky, it’s perfectly slick and velvety, it leaves the lips smooth and soft, it hydrates tremendously and leaves a nice light sheen that’s not too glossy nor too matte, and is perfectly long-lasting.

I applied this before getting into the car for a three hour drive to prom venue and it lasted the entire way there, keeping slick with a light sheen. I applied it again when we got to the venue and by the end of the night I had sweat off almost, if not all, of my eyeshadow and glitter, my mascara was starting to run and eyeliner smudged, but this Dior Addict Lip Glow stayed on my lips all night, and then the next morning, I woke up with almost unbelievably soft and hydrated lips.

I seriously cannot stress enough how amazing this is, and I cannot stress enough how hydrating it is. My favorite thing about this product though, is that once it’s applied to the lips, it reacts with the pH of your lips and becomes a beautifully sheer pink, reviving the color of your lips.

I live for this product and 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight and sheer lip balm. Side note: Aside from the amazing product, the Sephora staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, not only did I pick this up, I also got a small bottle of Maison Margiela that I was led to by a staff member who helped me pick out a fragrance according to my tastes.

Perfect lip product for me. I’m not a fan of lipstick, lip stain etc. – way too high maintenance for me and not very comfortable. This is a little like a love child between a lipstick and lip balm- comfortable on the lips, maybe just a slight stickiness but I think that’s what helps it be more long wearing than a lip balm would be.

The hydration IS there but it takes some time to sink in-the longer you wear it, the more moisturized your lips! So if you put it on and your lips still look a little dry, give it some time. I probably wouldn’t recommend putting a lip balm under since that will reduce the longevity.

Has a slight pop of color designed to be an enhancement to you lips. This is NOT a long wear lipstick (nor is it designed to be), if you’re drinking, or indulging in a little PDA with your significant other, you’ll have to replace it.

But if it’s the pink one, I’ve found it’s sheer enough you can just throw it back on without a mirror or anything. I just ordered some darker colors so not sure if that’s possible with those as well.

Anyways very happy with it, but it will depend what you’re looking for if this is the right one for you. Probably is a comparable product out there that’s similar for cheaper, but in my experience, you end up spending more buying up multiple cheaper products trying to find “the one”; and I don’t think it’s ever a mistake to buy something that’s high quality.

This does exactly what I want it to do, so it’s worth the money to me. Plus look how cute the packaging!.

Many brands try to imitate including the high end brands, but IMO, no one comes close to the brilliance of the OG Dior Lip Glow. I have been buying this balm for MANY years, it’s one of the few products i repurchase without question or thought because I use it multiple times a day.

At this point, I’ve gone through 10 plus colors. It is chic, moisturizing, smells wonderful, and leaves a beautiful glow on the lip. Do you NEED to pay $35 for a glorified lip balm? Of course not. But as a person who doesn’t really like lip colors except lip oils and balms, this product makes my lips shine – they look supple, soft, kissable.

I am reviewing the mahogany color as I just purchased it and received it earlier in the week. I have highly pigmented lips as I am dark tan in skin color, and initially bought this because I wanted something super subtle on my lip after having used a lot of the pink and lilac / berry shades over the years.

Let me tell you, this sheer brown is BEAUTIFUL even on pigmented lips. It looks like my lips but better, like they’ve been filled out due to the color being a really lovely glowy brown. This might be my new neutral.

I normally use the pink OG all the time but this might replace it. Wow! And if you have lighter colored lips, I can only imagine the soft, light sheet brown that’ll show up. My second picture is to show the new packaging compared to the old, and also to prove my obsession with this product over the years.

I’ve purchase this product because I have been in need for a nice on the go lip balm. I’ve normally use drunk elephant lippe lip balm but I’ve always wanted to try something from the Chanel line. I’m not a huge make up kind of girl, and I’ve already own a perfume from the line.

This lip balm itself did not wow me. The packaging is best, and it very sleek, elegant, and looks amazing for any occasion. I love the twist packaging and it very sturdy. It is a one of a kind packaging.

that has wow like no other The product inside of the packaging is not as impressive as their hydra beauty lip balm (that comes in a jar packing). The hydra beauty lip balm seems to provide intense hydration and moisture to the lips.

The Rouge coco Balume has a soft and butter feel to it so the application process is much easier than your typical lip balm. However, I do not think this lip balm is suited for the brutal winter months.

The lasting power does not seem to last as long compared to the hydra beauty lip balm. I find myself having to reapply it every 45 minutes or so. It just does not feel like it is truly hydrating my lips.

I only use this lip balm 3 times a day, maybe 3-4 days out of the week and I have not ran out. I’ve had this container of lip balm for about 2 months now. It’s a possibility that I will repurchase solely because of my love for packaging.

SPF would not be a bad ingredient to add to the lip balm for the summer months. My honest opinion is that I’m indecisive because the product is not a complete miss, and it is not sticky unlike some lip balms, but it is not super hydrating either.

It may work well under lipstick too.

The Chanel Rouge Coco Baume (Hydrating Conditioning Lip Balm) is hands-down the absolute definition of excellence & perfection! It’s the ONLY hydrating lip balm I’ve ever found (after going through countless other brands) to fully RESTORE & HEAL my physically cracked lips.

I have an issue with corners of my mouth becoming so dehydrated that they crack & bleed. This lip balm is the ONLY one I’ve found which will HEAL them. I don’t care what the cost is—When my lips are so dehydrated that they’re bleeding—I’ll pay anything to obtain relief… And Chanel doesn’t fail! There’s no color provided.

However, it can be used underneath or over any lip color—Just be aware that if you apply this balm over a lip color—Then, the lip color will rub off onto the Chanel lip balm—But, you can always reuse it with the color on there.

The rubbed off color isn’t intense or take a piece of tissue paper & gently wipe it off. I use Chanel products, only—So this doesn’t present an issue for me. But, it might for others—Just friendly advice/tips.

I’m happy I came across this hydrating lip balm it’s free of mineral oil which is amazing because it’s really caring not like many mineral oil based balms that only leaves a coat on your lips that causes dry lips underneath the balm which is obviously the exact opposite of what it should do.

The Chanel rouge coco baume balm is pricey I haven’t tried other special mineral oil free balms so I can’t give you a review of other products but there are many alternatives who do the same for less.

I bought it and don’t regret it because it’s a high quality packaging lol I always loose the caps of lip balms and this one is more solid. I love the balm because I never had any skin irritation problems while using products of the Chanel hydra beauty range which is rare because I have sensitive skin and my skin is usually reacting to products with more than 4 ingredients haha so long story short : it’s a good product so It get’s 5 stars but since it’s only a lip balm you shouldn’t have a hard time finding a good product for a better price 🙂 I’m gonna update this review as soon as I try something similar :).

I was searching for a moisturizing lip balm that would also have a tint of color. The packaging presentation is also super cute, it’s not a boring looking tube, it was very unique. I was searching for a darker color, preferably a red or a nice purple tone.

Based on the packaging the pomegranate was one of their darker colored tones but after one coat of application it looked like a pink, pretty but a tad too bright for my personal preference. I started warming up to the color though, but what I didn’t quite get used to was how sticky it felt.

Again this is a personal preference. As far as moisturizing, it didn’t really feel moisturized, which was weird because it did feel sticky but somehow not moist, this is the one characteristic i’m using to rate it, for it’s purpose as a lip balm.

My mom and I were excited to try these balms so we each picked up one: she got Nude Rose, I got Peach-Pink. The display in the store had a clear piece of plastic that had swatches printed on, but of course they don’t reflect how sheer some tints can be so my advice is do NOT go by this to pick your color! I recommend Googling for swatch images from beauty-reviewers.

I ended up exchanging Peach-Pink for the Coral, as the Peach-Pink wasn’t enough color for me. Little on the sheer side, and I’d recommend it for a slightly natural look. Coral was perfect pop o’ color! Stayed put after eating/drinking, but had to reapply eventually as the areas where the most “smacking” happens was loosing its pigment.

In terms of moisture, we agree that it doesn’t deliver on that promise at all. Have to reach for Chapstick after about 30 minutes. For those that claimed there was a strong smell, we didn’t notice them with ours.

Could just depend on the color. There’s a smell but nothing strange that would turn me off from using it. We’re gonna keep these to live in our purses for quick pops of color, but wouldn’t rely on them for long-wear usage and definitely won’t rely on them for moisturizing.

Unless you physically wipe this off with a washcloth, you might end up wearing it to bed–it’s THAT long-lasting. This was recommended to me by an Ulta employee, and as the Blackberry shade was the closest match to a shade of discontinued Calvin Klein lip gloss I owned, I figured I’d give it a try.

Suffice to say that this stuff is *awesome*! It’s so richly pigmented that you can just dab it on (rather than sliding it over your lips, like you do lipstick). It endured through multiples meals with minimal touch-up, and left my lips so soft that I didn’t even have to put Chapstick on before bed.

I will definitely be going back to Ulta to try some other ColorBalm shades!.

My partner bought me the Pro Kiss’r Lip Balm in Cocoa Drizzle for my birthday, and I’ve been using it as my ‘handbag’ lip balm for the last 6 months. The colour is lovely (someone else said ‘my lips but better’ colour, and I agree), the scent is nice and sweet but sadly my dry lips need way deeper moisturising/hydration than this can provide and often it felt like it made my lips worse.

But regardless I stuck it out for 6 months because it was a present and it was okay, but now I’m decluttering it because the packaging is just terrible. No matter how I store this balm, it leaks at the lid.

It’s not sticky on the lips, but it is sticky when it leaks onto other things inside my handbag! This weekend the doefoot applicator came unstuck from the cap. I got it back on, but it comes unstuck every second or third time I open it.

And since it’s a lip balm I put on multiple times a day, I just can’t deal with the packaging anymore. A shame to see the same packaging for the newer lip stain, as I wanted to try that too but now won’t.

Impulse bought this because I desperately needed a new lip balm, the shade is lovely on the lips. A natural nudey pink that’s easy to wear every day! The formula feels so moisturizing and I don’t feel the need to reapply too much throughout the day.

I love wearing this on its own or with a light brown lip liner if I’m feeling fancy. My only issue is the packaging being so susceptible to leaking! I can only carry this around with me if I’m 100% sure I can keep it upright in a pocket or something, or else every time I open it there will be a lottt of product build up at the cap.

It gets a little frustrating having to clean it often and wasting some of it but if you can overlook that then I think it’s worth trying out for yourself!.

Love this!! I stopped wearing lipgloss once i started wearing this. It looks amazingggggg. I love a natural looking lip but I hate the stickiness and overall shininess of lipgloss( fenty included :/ ) but this??! This is the perfect amount of moisture and glow without the icky feeling of lipgloss, imo.

I use cocoa drizzle as an outer liner and fill in with hint hint and it looks sooo beautiful. Definitely gives a ‘my lips but better’ look. Obsessed!!.
